The majority of people carry a tremendous amount of insecurity. Insecurity stems from ignorance. The ignorance that we're referring to is the lack of knowledge of one's true Self and inherent Christ nature. If we knew who and what we really are we would walk gently on this Earth with our chins up, speaking words of love, wisdom, and truth. Additionally, we would clearly comprehend that "Christ consciousness" is not only our true nature but everyone else's too. Until we orient our lives inwardly toward union with God—yoga meditation—we will continue to compare ourselves to other people and we will also judge other people. When we lack the knowledge that all is ONE, we are under the illusion of separateness. #Maya When we subscribe to separateness there is underlying fear, anxiety, and INSECURITY. It's no wonder we find some small pleasure in gossiping about others and putting others down when they're not around. Meditation cures insecurity like sunlight dispels darkness.
