#so im an elementary school teacher right? and somehow I’m always paired up with the only male teacher in school #it has happened for years now and its probably because I look like a 15 y/o boy #so today we had pta via zoom coz corona and shit and we gave the info heard the complaints and all that #we finish the meeting and we’re chilling and geeking out about snk when he tells me that he just broke up with his gf #and he’s like i don’t know how i was able to give class yesterday. i was disociating so hard i don’t remember what i did #and i was like that’s rough buddy #i asked him to let me know if it happened again so I could help him out with the class while he took some time and he got mad bc OF COURSE #so I explained I wasn’t questioning his ability to do work and only trying to support him in the only way I could so he was cool about it #so he goes quiet for a moment and then he says that he probably didn’t find my offer conforting BECAUSE HE WAS STRAIGHT #so gays and theys I’m very happy that I’ve educated my memelord coworker into considering that his sexuality might be a problem #and he’s a pretty odd cishet that actually enjoys teaching and I guess imma send him more memes from now on
