You figured out what the cereal was for. It was your human lover who wolfed half a box down. Something about ‘fibres’. When your knot had deflated enough to pull out, you had made him a bowl and when he finished that, he just started eating out of the box like they were crisps. You tried to be patient, but Dick was naked on your bed and your eyes fixated on the crumbs on his chest. With each breath, you watched those crumbs go up and down. “Are you finished?” You eventually snapped. Your body was thrumming and there was only so much self-restrained in your demon blood. Dick nodded and put the box aside. As soon as his mouth was empty, you had your tongue on him, licking the crumbs away and very intentionally swiping over his nipples. Dick gasped and squeezed your arm. 

“I need more,” you growled, voice laced with a hellish overtone, “but if you can’t, I need you to leave now.” You looked up into your man’s eyes. He was clearly a little fearful if he could handle another round so soon. You understood, but for the sake of your sanity, you needed him to leave you alone if he needed rest. 

“Hurt me instead,” he suggested out of the blue, voice hoarse and breathy. You cocked up a brow, unsure of what he was implying exactly. “Bite me, spank me, get a whip from the closet. I need a break, but there are other ways to make me cry and enjoy it.” Your concerned expression morphed into a smirk at his filthy words. This is sorta smth i track regularly? but i have it all sorted by word count akdgjkajdg it's part of my progress tracker server w some friends. Adding words is the easiest way to track 'working on a project' so that's what i do! I also have a (separate) doc in my drive folder that tracks just, general prompts, so when i have ideas i slap them in there.

Baseball AU: Collab? outline - 331. MOSTLY this is just. a Roster and some thoughts about a general plot concept. I want to illustrate this but i can't do a comic. It's also a Sterek concept. FratBoi Stiles x RA!Derek: 52 - this is just straight up a PWP with the prompt borrowed from a TWT moot that ive been meaning to work on for ages and just haven't yet. Stiles secretly 'runs' by which i mean, owns and protect, but isn't involved in Actually Running, an underground speakeasy in the heart of the city. He doesn't let any gangs runs their trouble on his turf. Until one day, a Hale is shot by an Argent right outside his doors. Sterek SuperBat ComicCon MeetCute: WIP One Shot - 1,049 Inspired by MultiE's art. nerd x nerd solidarity Sciles Ancient Greece AU: 192 - this is a friggin poem and is probably gonna stay a poem. New! Sex For Work: Parts 1, 2, 3, 4 - 23,228. Part 5? Sterek BDSM CEO x Personal Assistant AU. Originally intended to be kinky prompt fill series but Caught Plot. I meant to rewrite it last month to convert it into a standalone story, but uhhhh didn't. I DID do reformatting though. I just need to get writing on it again, but i tend to be kinda singleminded.

Maybe it'll be Danny x Conner because himbo tee shirt conner is my baby boy baby boy Not So Blushing, Not So Virgin: 40 - SuperBat role reversal where everyone expects clark to be this sweet inexperienced things and then he absolutely blows bruce's back out.

Hiatus Projects:

Universal Law of Gravitation: Chapter 1 WIP, significant outline - 3,080 - Sterek Lifetime fic. I wrote out this huge long super comprehensive timeline and got super caught up in it. It's supposed to be about how, despite their best efforts, Stiles and Derek just can't stay apart, so there are a ton of messy breakups and fights in between. I just never put together an actual proper Plot, so when i started writing it, i got SUPER bored. It has a playlist! and i made a bunch of pseudo-science chapter titles hehe A Fever You Can't Sweat Out: Chapter 1 posted, Chapter 2 WIP, significant outline - 9,911 - Sterek, Marrish, Scallison, post-canon AU, surprise mpreg! Similarly to ULG, i wrote out a huge big timeline and outline and got super nitty gritty into the details, but literally Chapter One i went Off Track and it just killed my motivation. It's HUGELY ensemble, and i picked out jobs and hobbies for like 12 people to all live in a big ol estate together. It also suffered from "world building but no plot", but i DID try to make a plot, it just. wasn't good haha. The entire concept is, Lydia gets pregnant which makes Allison baby crazy so she gets pregnant and Stiles wants a baby so, so bad, but he's dating dating/married to Derek and therefore would have to adopt or something, but he wants it so bad he magics himself up a contraception.

 i just think that even with powers, the team of young justice in the same high school is such a wonderful concept because they’re teens and they most definitely have the potential and right now i can’t place many words together but like.. i MUST elaborate on most aspects of these little shits being high school freshmen/sophomores.

Bart literally writes everything with just a pencil and then you have Kon who just likes to write in blue/red/black pens, tim is a mix of blue/pencil/ocassional-marker -he-steals-from-cissie, Cassie writes with like.... purple and blue pens,,, Greta just has a black pen but her notes are literal heaven because she steals everything from cissie and cissie is 1000% the sorta bitch that has her markers categorized by color but then bart borrows them and mizes up the caps and also cissie has gel pens and her handwriting is pretty af so like everyone copies of of her

As unlikely as it sounds, Bart does NOT cheat at tests, because then max would like... give him SO many lectures and it’s SUCH  pain in the ass so he just doesn’t (this does not limit chaos). Cassie doesn’t cheat because nO but then Cissie and Kon???? they’re buddies in that sorta thing and you know EXACTLY what i mean when i say that Kon has written answers in the skin that shows from his ripped jeans (the ones that he always gets in trouble for wearing, because as much as the school protocole just says ‘jeans’, they do NOT mean ripped jeans that have paint on them), and Cissie on her thighs and under the uniform socks, and they do the whole bandaid trick, and they even have their own weird sign language that takes WAAAAY too long to like even send the word ‘wassup’ because it goes letter by letter but its subtle so it works

fucking HOME EC is kon’s favourite subject and you’d think that kon would be in like... woodworking because most guys are in woodworking but NO kon went in home ec because ‘the chicks are there’ but NOOOO KON JUST LIKES BAKING AND HE GOT SHAMED ONCE FOR NOT KNOWING TO SEW A BUTTON ON HIS SHIRT SO NOW HE WANTS TO LEARN and guess what he absolutely LOVES it and he’s in with greta because cissie is with cassie and tim in woodworking, and besides, they don’t even have the same classes

they always make like cookies and kon hates it because he can’t eat his mf cookies in peace because he has home ec right after the lunch hour and while cassie does like to go out of class bart and cissie just eat all the cookies and leave kon to split with tim 

FUCKING VOLLEYBALL TEAM BITCH but also literally all sports the school has to offer because Kon LOVES his jock reputation (that also bakes cookies and is kicking ass at home ec) and tim desperately needs to deal off anger with sports because the big bad wolf drake demands he also gets involved

Cissie quit the cheerleading team like the first month but greta loved it, and cassie just hates it SO much but he likes watching practices because girls (oh and greta gets really excited all the time and they love it)

TIM SETS BECAUSE he’s the only one that can mantain that boring position also he’s good at it (also he wears fingerless gloves because iT hElPs hIm but really he want to look badass

BART IS LIBERO ALL THE WAY THROUGH OKAY BOY LOVES DIVING AND also he can heal quicker from like hits in the face (he has his kneepads that he wears EVERYWHERE and he even has a headband for his hair and his arm thingies and everything and his jersey is just written with signatures because everyone loves him

CISSIE IS ALSO LIBERO OKAY SHE LOOOVES VOLLEYBALL and she can DIVE and sometimes she forgets to bring up her kneepads so you KNOW that her knees are broken but she doesnt care (she also switches with server and her serves are literally like from fucking hell its beautiful

greta doesn’t play she refuses to play and everyone respects that but she also has like the bags with water-bottles and the jersey ones 

EDIT: FUCKING DUMBASSES HERE GOT THEIR UNIFORMS MIXED UP AND TIM IS LIKE ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN KON AND CASSIE AND CISSIE AND BART ARE THE SAME (and tim but like bear with me) AND THEN ONE DAY THEY GOT THEIR UNIFORMS MIZED UP AND THERE WAS KON WITH MINISHORTS and dumbass didn’t notice but like everyone else sure did 

BECAUSE they’re in the same team they just... share a locker that wasn’t used, with a little dollarama (dollar tree? idk but the dollar store) lock and then bam that’s the team locker (team as in them not the volleyball team) and there they keep like... bags of chips and chocolate bars with like... gym clothes and sneakers (which if you ask me is a horrible idea to like... place around 12 stinky shoes with granola bars and snacks and gym clothes but like hey dont ask me its them)

AND I READ THIS ARTICLE BUT I ALSO SAW A POST ON INSTAGRAM ABOUT THIS GIRL, Erin DiMeglio, WHO PLAYS FOOTBALL AND IS THE ONLY GIRL ON THE TEAM AND ALSO HER GIRLFRIEND IS A CHEERLEADER SO LIKE.,,,,, TELL ME THAT YOU DON’T IMAGINE CISSIECASSIE (or plain old cissie and cassie if you dont feel like shipping them) but like... cissie quit the team... and she doesn’t want to go back... and cassie’s like wow okay i see you AND ALSO TIM IS ON THE FOOTBALL TEAM and kon doesn’t wanna join (tbh he’s more of a football dood yk?) and bart called cissie a chicken and went cheerleader for cassie himself (skirt and everything, max was proud) so like cassie has her own team of cheerleaders and then tim is just :/// (here’s the article go read it)

Characters That Might Be Introduced in Young Justice Season 4: Phantoms

This is just my own personal speculation, based on what I think might happen in Season 4 and what YJ has given us so far. I’m sure that I’ve missed plenty of characters that others 100% believe or know will be making an appearance...but, I can’t do anything about that. 

While the majority of the characters on this list are ones we haven’t met before, there are a few we have met in the show - I included these characters, because I think they might be added to the ever-growing roster of heroes or have a more prominent role to play. 

This is really long, but I had fun doing it and I hope you enjoy it. 

Characters We've Met Already

Part I: Prominent Future Role

     M’comm M’orzz/Ma'alefa'ak

M’gann’s younger brother who wants to start a white revolution on Mars. We met him in season 3 during the episode of “Away Mission,” where he was a major focal point.

There are a couple of factors for why I think he’ll play a prominent role.

He’s M’gann’s younger brother and as several people have speculated upon, this season’s tagline of “Phantoms” might be in reference to our main characters’ own personal phantoms from their pasts, rather than literal ghosts. Also given how M’gann has a new little brother in Gar, who was given more prominence last season – there could be something there.

M’Comm wants to start a White Revolution and we know M’gann, Conner, J’onn, and Gar (I believe) will be heading to Mars, either before or at the beginning of Season 4. Since J’onn/Martian Manhunter is usually the last Green Martian – some dark stuff may be awaiting our heroes on Mars or occur while they’re there.

I think he’ll play a significant role in the upcoming season. 

     Jason Todd/Red Hood

Jason is a prominent member of the Batfamily and we’ve already learned that he was the Robin after Dick, but died before Season 2 began. 

In Season 3 – he was also an easter egg in “Nightmare Monkeys,” where he died in Beast Boy’s mind, along with other fallen comrades.

More importantly, in “Rescue Op,” we actually met him as the Red Hooded Ninja on Infinity Island. Towards the end of that episode there was attention given to the fact that he recognized Dick and therefore his memory was returning.

I can definitely see him having a more significant part in the future. He would most likely be Dick’s main phantom, if that’s the case for Season 4. 

     Big Barda

One of Granny’s most loyal generals and the leader of the furies before she defects against Darkseid. We were introduced to her in Season 3, in “Influence" - she fought against the Justice League, but more importantly she was saved by Superman. While it’s clear that Granny hurting her or being willing to sacrifice her is par for the course, it seemed pretty clear (to me) that Superman reshaped her outlook on life. 

We never saw her again, so more than likely she defected after Superman saved her.

Given her usual importance to the plot of Darkseid as well as the fact that her main love interest is Scot Free – I think there is more than a good chance we’ll see her again in Season 4.

In the third season, each of these characters were introduced in a single episode. Given their significant relationships to either a character or a plot element that is important to Young Justice - it seems more than likely we’ll see them play a larger role in the upcoming season.

Part II: Minor Future Role

     Harper Rowe/Bluebird

She was a minor character in Season 3, but she was also pretty prominent. Given that she’s a hero in the comics, I can see Harper being a new hero added to the roster. I can’t say how prominent she’ll actually be, but I can definitely see her playing a minor role.    

     Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl

Courtney is a pretty prominent young hero in DC and she made several appearances in Season 3 – with her show (Stargirl) where she reported and interviewed young heroes. So, maybe she’ll have decided instead of just interviewing heroes, she’ll become one herself. 

     Cisco Ramon/Vibe

For a character who was just being bullied they paid a decent amount of attention to him. Now maybe he was just a prominent Easter Egg for fans (CW’s The Flash), but it could also be YJ laying some slight ground work for him in the future.

     Cassandra Cain/Orphan

Orphan is a member of the Batfamily and her mother is Lady Shiva - The Light’s new enforcer, who we got to know decently well in Season 3. Because of that, I think there could be something there to explore in Season 4.

I don’t really think any of these guys will be major characters, but I’m betting we’ll at least see them in the background as heroes. Similar to how Stephanie Brown and others were introduced as easter eggs and then in the following season we saw them working as heroes.

In addition, there are of course other minor hero/super-powered characters whom we’ve already met (Arrowette, Spoiler, Mist etc.) and any one of them could get more screen time, it’s honestly anyone’s guess; I just don’t have anything specific to speculate about for them.

Characters We Haven’t Met 

Part I: Legion of Super-Heroes/Time Travel

Based on the idea that the Legion of Super-Heroes and time travel could play a significant role in Season 4 – which is based on how season 3 ended with an unknown woman wearing a Legion Ring. 

Legion of Super-Heroes

The Legion of Super-Heroes are a superhero team from the 31st Century; they are similar to The Justice League, but they protect and defend the United Planets. 

     Tinya Wazzo/Phantom Girl

Phantom Girl is a member of the Legion, so based off that and her name, there’s a decent chance we’ll meet her. I can’t say how big of role she’ll actually have, but I feel confident in saying this season won’t be named after her; it’ll just be fun little tie-in, if she does make an appearance.

     Querl Dox/Brainiac 5

Brainiac is a very prominent member of the Legion and knowing that they will play some role, it’s not a stretch to say he’ll also play a role. 

Brainiac 5, or at least in the WB animated show, was the inventor of the Legion Ring, as well as the ability to time-travel. 

Given his relation to one of Superman’s greatest enemies, Brainiac, who could definitely be a threat to both the League and The Light (if Brainiac even appears), I can definitely see Brainiac 5 playing a role. 

But, just his promience within the Legion is enough reason to speculate he’ll make an apperance.

     Imra Ardeen/Saturn Girl

Given Saturn Girl’s usual importance and prominence to the Legion (founding member), plus the fact that it was a waitress wearing the ring – it could very well have been her at the end of Season 3.

And even if it wasn’t her, she will still likely make an apperance. 

Other Members of the Legion of Super-Heroes who we could meet: Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, Bouncing Boy, Triplicate Girl, Timber Wolf, Chameleon Boy, etc.

     Michael Carter/Booster Gold

Booster Gold is a pretty popular character who has appeared in many other works and is intrinsically linked with time-travel. On top of that, he typically has (or had) a good friendship with the old Blue Beetle (Ted Kord), so maybe we’ll see some reverse-mentor relationship with him and Jaime, the new Beetle – Jaime teaching him what it actually means to be a hero.

In general, I think he would just be a fun and new kind of personality to be brought in. 

     Future Kids (Lian Nguyen-Harper, Damian Wayne, Jon Kent, Tornado Twins, etc).

Given how time-travel will possibly be an element in Season 4, I think there’s a chance we’ll have an episode set in the future, starring the next generation of heroes. Maybe not all the kids we saw in “Home Fires,” but probably some of them.

Part II: The Phantom Zone  

I have the theory that Granny’s X-Pit is a type of Phantom Zone or at least based off the real thing.

Granny herself even called the pit the Ghost Dimension (which just sounds like another name for the Phantom Zone). So, it seems very likely to me that given the title of Season Four, the prominence of The Phantom Zone in DC, and how the X-Pit worked in YJ -- that The Phantom Zone will make an appearance in season 4, if not play an important part.

There could be lots of ways they could incorporate it into the show.

Maybe it works as a prison. The prison cells are like the red boxes Granny used to protect herself and thus there’s no chance of prisoners escaping the Zone, because if they try leave their cells, they’ll experience excruciating pain

Depending on how the Phantom Zone would work in in YJ, I feel like those who escape the Phantom Zone or are from there, could be called Phantoms.

While I do personally think the tagline Phantoms will refer to our main heroes’ own personal phantoms, the tagline could also be in reference to other elements of the season (like the Phantom Zone).

      Kara Zor-El/Supergirl

Supergirl is an important and popular character in the DC and given the prominence of the Batfamily in YJ, it seems a bit odd that the Superfamily is rather lacking in comparison. 

Supergirl has been a part of the Legion of Super-Heroes and due to her popular CW Show - she is more recently associated with the Phantom Zone. In her show, she ended up being stuck in the Phantom Zone which is why she arrived on Earth so much later than Clark. YJ could do something like that or maybe she’ll have been stuck in the Phantom Zone until the 31st Century. 

The introduction of Supergirl could be an interesting storyline in association with Conner (and Clark). We know that Clark has been interested in finding other Kryptonians and Kara is certainly more than just another Kryptonian.

She’s also a likely candidate to be the waitress who was wearing the Legion Ring. 

     Mon-El

A Daxxamite who’s a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes and is also strongly associated with the Phantom Zone. Given how in Season 1, Superman thought that Shazam and Icon were potential Kryptonians, there could be something interesting there with Mon-El – especially since his species are so similar to Kryptonians.

In the comics, Mon-El had been inspired by Superboy into becoming a hero, but he was put in the Phantom Zone because he had an incurable disease; he was later saved by Brainiac 5 in the 31st Century. So that could be another potential storyline for Superboy in Season 4.

Mon-El has also gotten some more recognition in recent years, due to his role in CW’s Supergirl.

Also, when I was looking up a picture for him to use, I learned that there is another version of Mon-El, where he is a descendent of House El/Superman. 

So maybe that version will be introduced instead of the Daxxamite one, I don’t know. 

     Zod Trio -- Zod, Ursa, Non

I don’t actually think these guys will be important to Season 4, if even they are introduced. But they are important Superman Villains and they’re usually connected with the Phantom Zone – given how many continuities they are prisoners of said Zone. 

So, it seemed silly to not speculate about them at least making an appearance or small cameo, if not something more. 

Part III: Darkseid and Meta-Trafficking  

     Scott Free/Mister Miracle

Scott or Scot is Darkseid’s adopted son and the biological son of Highfather, so it feels safe to say that he’ll be a part of the show at some point. Especially, given the increase prominence of Darkseid as well as how much we’ve seen of the New Gods, Motherboxes/Fatherboxes, and the two worlds of New Genesis and Apokolips.

Scot is a defector of Apokolips or more accurately was never broken by the place. He is known for being able to escape any imprisonment - particularly Granny’s Orphanage/X-Pit, so if there’s a return of the X-Pit, Scot would be a great asset to our heroes.

Given how we’ve been introduced to the X-Pit quite thoroughly in Season 3, I think that Scot’s ability to free himself would be all the more impressive, and a quick way to establish this new character and his skills. 

In addition, while we didn’t meet the real Orion, we do know that he exists in this universe. Orion is the adopted son of Highfather and the biological one of Darkseid. In the comics, Scot and Orion were traded as part of a Peace Treaty between the worlds of New Genesis and Apokolips. 

Basically, he’s due to make an apperance. 

     Princess Koriand’r of Tamaran/Starfire

The plots of Season 2 and 3 were largely focused on the kidnapping, experimenting, and trafficking of meta-human children/teenagers, so given all of that - Starfire seems very likely to be included in YJ.

Or at the very least, YJ has laid down the groundwork for her to be introduced - whether or not they’ll use that, we’ll have to see.

Starfire’s origin is that she is a Tamerean Princess who was taken and experimented on, which resulted in her gaining powers (more powers). So, in the YJ universe she would essentially be a Meta-Tamerean. 

Starfire could be a great way to show that the Meta-Gene exploitation isn’t just an earth/human problem anymore, as many more beings across the universe are being experimented on and turned into living weapons.

Thus, expanding upon the trafficking story thread that was introduced in Season 3. 

In general, Starfire’s origin story fits very well with the trafficking/meta-experimenting storylines that we’ve gotten so far and I think her presence would add something new.

Given the popularity of Teen Titans and the prominence of Nightwing, Beast Boy, and Cyborg in YJ, it seems more than likely that Star will be a character in the show. 

Also, we know that Arsenal will be on the Covert Team and that Jason is alive, so maybe if Star is introduced, we’ll see a version of the Outlaws in YJ. Which could be fun. 

Finally, she is one of Nightwing’s main love interests, so there could be some personal drama to be had, if the show goes down that route, which they may not. 

Starfire obviously doesn’t have to be a love interest for Nightwing to be added into the story. 

While I love RobStar (+ Dickbabs), I feel like sometimes Star is just limited to being Nightwing’s other girlfriend. So, if she is introduced in YJ, I would not be opposed to other storylines involving her without Nightwing. 

In my personal opinion, not including Star would be such a wasted opportunity, given what YJ has already established so far.

Part IV: Zatanna’s Protégé(s) / Magic-Based Characters

I have a small theory, that magic might play a larger role in season 4. This is mostly based on the fact that magic has been pushed to the background in the past two seasons. Also, the title of ‘Phantoms’ makes me think of the supernatural (aka Magic). 

We also know that Zatanna will have protégés, as in plural. Now she already has Thirteen, so at the very least we can say that one new magical-based character will be introduced to the team or the hero side. 

     The Phantom Stranger

A mysterious mystic who battles supernatural forces. It’s unlikely he’ll be a protégé for Zatanna, but I mentioned him first, because of his name. Which is the main reason for why I think he, out of all the magical characters in DC, could make an appearance.

Similar to Phantom Girl, I don’t think the season’s tagline will come from his name, but it might just be a nice little tie-in regardless.

     Eddie Bloomberg/Kid Devil aka Red Devil

Blue Devil has made a few minor appearances in Seasons 1 & 2 and given how Kid Devil was once his sidekick in the comics, I think there’s a decent chance Red Devil we’ll make an appearance.

He’s a character who I think many people might not know about or at least not a lot about; and YJ does like to shine a light on those characters.

Eddie started out as human kid/teenager who became Kid Devil - sidekick to Blue Devil. He ended up making a deal with a demon and got demonic powers and looks to match - possibly related to that, he had a falling out with Blue Devil and stopped being his sidekick.

I’m pretty fuzzy on the details of his story, as I’m not super familiar with his character; but the broad strokes that I do know, I think could really work for YJ.

He starts  out as the sidekick of Blue Devil (maybe he knows the team), but he has a falling out with Blue or goes off on his own – and gets his demonic powers, becoming Red Devil. Or something like that.

As he becomes Zatanna’s protégé (trying to learn to control his magical powers), he also has to work on his strained relationship with Blue Devil.

It could be a similar story to Red Arrow’s from Season 1, a nice throwback with a new character. And a character who while being new, does already have some slight groundwork laid out for his introduction - with Blue Devil already existing in YJ.

Again, I’m just throwing ideas out here and speculating. 

     Zachary Zatara

Several people have pointed out that Zachary is a more likely candidate to be Zatanna’s new protégé than Raven is - who was the first person I thought of - given how Zachary is Zatanna’s cousin. 

And yeah, I think there’s a decent enough chance for him becoming a character in Season 4. 

He’s related to a former member of the OG Team and like Eddie, he’s not really a character many people are super familiar with, so that could work in his favor.

It could also be fun to have someone back on the team who has magic like Zatanna and if Zachary was part of the team, we would probably see more of Zatanna – which would be great.

One problem I do have though, is if he does exist in this universe - why didn’t Zatanna move in with his parent(s) (her aunt or uncle) when her father became the host for Doctor Fate.

Of course, that could just be because in season one they had never intended for him to exist in the show, but now things have changed. 

And in Season 2, we were given no indication that Beast Boy had been with the Doom Patrol or that they had died tragic deaths in between the time his mother died and when he joined the team. So yeah....

Zachary is a likely candidate to be added, especially in regard to Zatanna have multiple protégés (or at least 2). 

     Rachel Roth/Raven 

Unlike Starfire, Raven’s main story arc involving Trigon doesn’t really relate to what has been going on in Young Justice so far. Nonetheless, it seems very likely she’ll be included - given the popularity of TT, plus Nightwing, Beast Boy, and Cyborg being prominent characters. 

Raven  shouldn’t be limited by the existence of Trigon; as you easily have Raven in a story, without Trigon being front and center, in my opinion. And, it would be nice seeing other storylines involving Raven that don’t include Trigon, or at least not having him be a major factor.

There’s nothing specific that makes me think Raven will be introduced in Season 4, but –

She could definitely be Zatanna’s new protégé or at least one of them. And, while in the comics Zatanna and Raven haven’t always gotten along – there’s no reason that has to be the case in YJ. Plus, in Bombshells, Raven is Zatanna’s pseudo/adopted daughter.

Though, I think Raven being the protégé of Doctor Fate might work a bit better. 

Also, in regard to my personal theory that magic will become more prominent, Raven would be a great way to go about doing that, especially with her wide range of powers and abilities. 

While, I don’t think a story needs Trigon to have Raven – her being the daughter of one of the great evils of the universe, could certainly be a bonding element for her and the other heroes who also have supervillain relatives. 

Plus, Raven being the portal to Trigon (this seemingly unstoppable force) could be something interesting to explore in regards to Darkseid’s and the Light’s plans. Maybe Darkseid and the Light would perceive Raven as a major threat and want to get rid of her and perhaps even the good guys would also see her as a threat that needs to be stopped. 

There’s just so much that YJ could do with Raven. And while I would love for her a main or secondary character, I think she could be an interesting neutral party or a single-episode character.

There are many other magical characters that could be introduced to YJ, but it feels silly to list a whole bunch of characters, just because they have magic. 

Part V: Random Characters

     Rose Wilson/Ravager and Joe Wilson/Jericho

Two of Deathstroke’s children who operate as heroes. I can see a lot being done with these two in YJ, especially with Deathstroke being a member of the Light. They could potentially bond with the other characters who also have supervillain parents and maybe even bond with Tara over the terrible parenting skills of Deathstroke. .

     Natasha Irons/Steel aka Starlight aka Vaporlock

Natasha is the niece of John Henry Irons/Steel who had a very minor role in Season 3, but nonetheless was introduced to the audience. In addition, Natasha has been associated with Infinity Inc, Lex Luthor’s group of “superheroes” who were also introduced in Season 3.

And while I could be mistaken, as I don’t know much about her, when she was part of Infinity Inc., she was injected with a serum that unlocked her meta-gene, giving her powers.

Natasha could possibly be introduced in Season 4, as a lot of the elements to her story, are already part of Young Justice. 

Green Lanterns

I think there’s a decent chance of us meeting a new Green Lantern, especially a younger one - as they would be a member of the Covert Team or the Outsiders. 

     Jessica Cruz/Green Lantern 

She's recently been popularized or at least introduced to many fans through the show DC Superhero Girls (2019) and I think if there was a combination of that version and her comic book counterpart – you could have a really compelling character for YJ. 

In the comics, Jess suffers from extreme anxiety, which is such an interesting and unique folly for a Green Lantern to have. And, I just think there’s a lot of story potential to be explored in that dilemma. 

     Keli Quintela/Teen Lantern

From what I’ve seen of Keli, I think she could be a fun addition. Just for the sheer fact that she uses the Green Lantern power completely different than every other Lantern we’ve seen – that alone is enough reason for her to be added.

     Kyle Raynor

One of the major Green Lanterns of DC. Like the two ladies above, there’s nothing specific with what we’ve been given so far in YJ to indicate he’ll be included, but I just think because of his status among fans, if the show was to introduce another GL – he has a decent shot.

     Vic Sage/Question

Since Season 1, I thought Question would be a great addition to the hero side – as the typical conspiracy stuff he obsesses over and discovers to be true, actually does align with what The Light has consistently been doing.

In general, he would be a fun character to add. Also, if we’re thinking of potential new protégés - Vic Sage could be the current Question and there could be a young (or at least somewhat young) Renee Montoya - under his care/tutelage. Or Renee could just be Question - either works for me.

I loved Question in JLU and would love to see him again.

Finally,

Wally West/ Kid Flash (former)

I think there’s a very good chance we’ll see the return of Wally in Season 4. Especially since Season 3 left us with many little hints that he’s not really dead.

Also, in regards to the idea that the tagline of “Phantoms” could be about the team’s personal ghosts haunting them, well Wally is a ghost for many of our characters - so that fits rather perfectly.

Or, maybe he ended up in the Phantom Zone. Or if ‘Phantoms’ is referring to more literal ghosts, even that still works in regards to Wally, as he’s presumed dead. Or maybe, he was jumped through time and somehow ended up in the 31st century (w/ the Legion of Super-Heroes). 

Maybe I’m wrong, but it just seems very likely Wally will be returning.

As I’ve mentioned before, this is just my own speculation and I’m sure I’ve missed several characters. Also, I obviously don’t think all of these characters will be introduced in Season 4, but to me they all have somewhat of a chance. 

And yeah...that’s it.

First Thoughts on YJ S4 Panel

WARNING: SPOILERS for the DC Fandome YJ S4 panel!

Okay, before I start chattering away, can I just saw how much I love this title poster? Because I love it. LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT HOW BADASS IT IS. 

Warning: this first bit is a teeny bit ranty, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t genuinely love the panel. It was really fun, but I have a few gripes with the amount of information we got. If you wanna cut straight to the cheery bits, check under the cut.

So... uh. I’m not gonna say I’m disappointed? Because I’m not, this was good, we got info, it was nice to see the voice actors. But I’m... underwhelmed. I definitely wasn’t expecting a lot but this was still, mm, not as much as I thought we’d get. No poster, no previews of character designs, not a peep as to when we’re getting the new season, nothing on where it’ll be streaming, nothing as to new characters, nothing as to who’s going to be the villain, and the Q&A session was maaaayyybe 3 minutes long. Oof, guys. Thought you said you’d leave us with something that’d leave us “more than just ‘whelmed.’” 

Essentially all we got was the title, and a few snippets of information regarding what the current status of the Team and its characters is. They didn’t really get the chance to talk to us at all about the actual season, either- I think Brandon spoke maaaybe three or four times? He got the title reveal, but, well, we knew that already, not that it’s their fault, but still. I love hearing the voice actors chat about their experiences and we got none of that, so that was disappointing. I’m wondering if there wasn’t some material cut, actually, because I distinctly recall seeing a clip on Twitter with Phil Lamarr talking about what it was like returning to the show, and it wasn’t in this. So what’s the deal, DC? Short-changing us on YJ again? When are we gonna get some actual news? 

There is the little problem that their big reveal of the title was spoiled, oh, maybe three or four months ago, and that isn’t their fault, but it does make that revelation more of an “okay, well, glad that’s confirmed” rather than an “OH MY GODS IT’S PHANTOMS WHAAAAAAAT” like I think they were hoping. Still, that’s definitely exciting to hear, and the new title poster looks cool. 

I got a “WHAT!!!” moment maaayybe three times, which is significantly less than I thought I would. There just wasn’t that much new info. But I think that’s less of a Grandon/production team problem and more of a world state and DC problem. I’m not annoyed at them, I’m annoyed at DC and at the pandemic, because I’m willing to bet their snippet was cut short by DC and what information they could’ve revealed just isn’t ready yet because of current events. Probably we would’ve gotten character designs if it weren’t for that.

As for the audio play, it was pretty good. They were definitely struggling what with having a distinct lack of people to pull from for a voice cast, but made some tongue-in-cheek references to it to take off the edge. I don’t think I realized just how many people voice for YJ until now... or how many characters each actor does. It’s a bit janky, and weird what with the arguing over who’s narrating the story (why, are they telling us the story, or are they telling it to someone else? Are you breaking the fourth wall, are you not? Make yourselves clear) but I’m blaming that on the fact that they’re more used to scripts than they are audio plays. These are different mediums, so there’s an inherent gap there; this probably would’ve gone better as an actual episode. 

So, FIRST watch-through, here’s my HAPPY cheery thoughts and reactions, in no particular order! I might do a second one later, we’ll see. (Under the cut, because it’s long.)

The Supermartian marriage has taken place and they’re making reference to taking a long journey with Conner, M’gann, Bioship, Gar and J’onn. So... Mars? Do we finally get to see Mars?  

Forager gets to be sassy! And a hilarious narrator! Which, c’mon, it’s Jason Spisak, honestly, I don’t know what I expected.

Ahahah, Jason makes the most delightful faces when he’s voicing Forager. (And a few flubs, but he’s good at covering them.) We all miss Wally, but man, he does a good job with this character. Also, hey, that’s how he does the clicks!

Rocket! Even though she had a relatively minimal presence, sigh. I’m hoping they build her character more this time, she always get short-changed. 

ARTEMIS IS LEADING THE TEAM, repeat, ARTEMIS IS LEADING THE TEAM!!! YES!!! 

And she also makes a reference at some point to being in this fight for ten years, which, HMM, do I hear a reference point for our time jump? They started back in 2010, so this implies that the season’s caught up to 2020. So... season one was 2010, season two was 2016, season three was... 2018, I think? So does this make the next time jump two years too, or am I off? It also takes place on February 23rd. Eh, either way, it’s absolutely not as long as a lot of people were fearing- heck, I’m thinking this might be the shortest jump yet. Yay!

I’m not sure if the Snapper Carr dialogue is cringy or hilarious. I’m going with hilarious because I’m betting this would’ve been great if it were animated. It definitely loses something without the animation. 

Is... is Crispin Freeman playing four characters? Five? Will, Roy, Jim, Captain Boomerang... I think I’m missing someone, I’m gonna have to go back and rewatch this later, but wow. He switches between them so fluidly, too, that’s impressive.

Forget Freeman for a hot second, Nolan North, what are you doing, dude? Conner, Clayface, Mallah, at least one or two others, with a LOT of animal noises included... wow, okay. I definitely didn’t realize how many of these guys do two or three characters. 

Phil Lamarr doing Brick, Black Manta and Kaldur all at once is definitely impressive. I’m gonna take a guess and say he likes doing Brick best. He seems to get a little grin sometimes when he’s playing the character.

Ahhh, Danica McKellar definitely likes playing Terrence Terror. Don’t ask me why, I’m just getting that feeling watching her. Villains are fun to play.

...Wolf? Where’s Wolf? Uhh, guys? Where’s our fluffy doggo? Don’t tell anyone but I’m scared. 

Oooookay, that was unexpectedly gruesome. Dehydrating a man into sand? I mean, okay, it’s Clayface, but we didn’t know that till later. Eeeewww. Y’all, ik you’re going more dark, but that wasn’t an image anyone needed.

Jokes about Dadbod!Will are... hhh, cringy or funny, cringy or funny... I’m going sorta funny for now. Not enough to make me laugh, but enough to make me smile. 

Okay, Will’s definitely still hilarious. Literally that entire scenario with Captain Boomerang was amazing, and only made better by the fact that it was entirely Crispin Freeman. The “are you the Green Arrow fanclub president or something?” “...you have no idea” moment, the “boomerangs are better and Batman said so!” “...okay, FINE,” FLINGING CLIPBOARD, Boomerang teasing Will for his dadbod and Will answering with a wicked uppercut... ah, man. This is 100% Roy/Will Harper and I am here for it. 

I can see some people disliking this humor, but personally, I’m gonna just sit back and enjoy it. YJ has some quirky humor, but honestly, if you’re part of the fandom and you don’t like it, why are you even here?

Huh, Raquel’s a vegan and nobody’s making jokes about vegan burgers? Nice!

Oh, my gods, Forager deciding that Lian and Amistad playing with the food is an educational activity is AMAZING, 100% in character, and something I really, really want to see. 

(Fanartists? Fanartists, pleeeeaaasse?)

Will and Artemis ribbing each other will never get old.

...wait. Hang on. Is Will the comedic relief character now along with Forager? Is this a thing? I guess it is. If you’d asked me who out of the original Team would replace Wally as the comedic relief back when I had finished the second season, I would not have thought of him first, but I think I’m good with this. It’s definitely in character to his comic version. 

Ahh, Conner and M’gann’s relationship is still... interesting. Still not sure how to feel on this one. But hey, they’re married (?) now? Uh... nice? 

Nightwing’s off on some mysterious mission, hmm? I’m assuming that’s because of Jesse McCartney not being there, but I think I’m gonna headcanon that there are Other reasons for this. 

Yay, Clayface getting redemption! I love this in the Rebirth Batman: Detective Comics, so I’m 100% down for seeing it here. 

Tim did that for Clayface! Sweet! Not a plot thread I expected to go anywhere from that one season three episode, but one I am very happy to see used. 

...more secrets. Uhh, M’gann keeping secrets from Conner is... icky... again... but granted, keeping them because of confidentiality agreements is, well, a better excuse than she’s had in the past. Still, this is getting old.

Huh, so Waller will let out the Team’s secrets if they tell anyone about Belle Reve. I think this was already covered in the third season, but maybe not so explicitly. The reactions... hmm. Of course Conner’s okay with letting out all their secrets (and M’gann’s willing to... go along with that? ...okay...?), but the others, maybe not so much? Hmm. I wonder what Dick would have to say about that one. He definitely has something to lose. Not sure about Kaldur or Artemis, though. 

Jason did NOT get to make any Wally references. That makes me even sadder than if he did make one that made all of us cry. C’mon, guys. Let him have his references. 

I’m always a little meh on M’gann, but hey, M’gann gets to be a 100% certified badass! Saving Clayface AND taking down a ton of baddies with telekinesis, yay!

Oh, my gods. LOOPHOLES. WHAT IS WITH THIS TEAM AND LOOPHOLES. I love them so much.

The Team signing on as Bowhunter Security- oh my gods, all of the Team in fucking Bowhunter Security uniforms- oh my gods, so very in-character, so very true to YJ, so absolutely goddamn hilarious, I wanna hug whoever came up with that. That is the BEST mental image and it is a CRIME that they didn’t animate that. 

And, of course, Kaldur just immediately goes along with it. The Team’s corrupted him fully now. I mean, we knew that, but he’s done now. 

Black Manta attempting to roast Kaldur for his security uniform and Kaldur roasting him back 100 times worse is wonderful. “I wear my dignity on the inside, Father. Where do you wear yours?” KALLIE I LOVE YOU 

Ooooo, Artemis is inviting Roy to the Team? This should be interesting. He’s definitely not totally stable, but it seems to me that Artemis should be able to more or less keep him in check. Hopefully. She had to deal with Wally for five years, surely she can keep Roy in check?

...hmm. We’re all thinking there’s gonna be a Red Hood arc... Roy’s joining the team... Roy and Jason did have that run as the Outlaws in the comics with Kory... and this version of Roy has the sort of temper and attitude that I can just see Jason possibly getting along well with... hmmmmmmmm... 

Hah, villain shenanigans. Having Task Force X argue all the time is in character and admittedly sort of funny, especially as Black Manta’s sort of pulling a Kaldur and playing the absolutely exasperated denmother. I dislike BM thanks to him being a Baddie and all, but watching (listening to?) him struggle to contain them is enjoyable if only because I like watching him suffer. 

Ahh, watching the VAs is fun. It’s definitely nice to see that little view behind the camera. There’s the little smiles, the tiny grimaces at the icky bits, the responses to various bits, the way their demeanor changes with each character, everyone egging Nolan on when he’s yelling for Clayface being disintegrated... I’m sad we didn’t get to see them chat, but watching them interact while they work is fun. Pity Jason and Stephanie didn’t really have any interactions, though, I bet watching them work together would’ve been fun. Ah well. Still fun overall.

There’s a lot of variation in where they are/what setups they have. Some of them seem to have proper studios, some of them don’t but they have mics, Danica’s on the lower bunk of her son’s room with what I’m betting are several sheets hung behind her, and then... well, then there’s poor Stephanie with earbuds and what I’m betting is her phone at her friend’s house XD Also, Greg’s library is really awesome, can I steal it please?

Green title card... I know people have been positing this for a while, but Lazarus Pit? Also, the thing people haven’t talked about: Mars?! Is this a nod to the Martians, since M’gann, Conner, Gar and J’onn seem to be going there? 

Lots of speculation regarding Phantoms, but that’s been going around for a while, so *shrug* I’m not gonna spend any time on that for now.

Someone’s gonna have to write this out, methinks, for further examination. We’ll see if I get around to doing that or not before Fandome ends. I’m betting someone will record it and post it on YouTube, but a written-out version of the script would be useful. If I do, I’ll probably post it, so keep an eye out. 

So... season 3.9, episode 1? Hmm. Does this come directly prior to the fourth season? I kinda wanna say it does.

I have more thoughts, but I think I need to do a rewatch first, maybe in a little bit. Anyway... not what I was expecting, I sincerely miss Dick and Wally, but lots of funny jokes all the same, and lots of interesting information on the fourth season even if it’s nowhere near the amount we wanted. I might be underwhelmed but I’m certainly not disappointed.

You said the other day that you don't really like Talon stories. Do you mind saying why?

LOL they’re just not really what I’m here for? Idk, I think people tend to make a bigger deal out of this than it actually is even in my head, maybe because Talon stories have so quickly become such a staple of fics that it just seems weird not to like them? And its not like I’ve never liked one or been intrigued by a premise, I have, though specific recs elude me at the moment, there’s one I was reading on ff.net I really enjoyed, it was YJ verse.....

But honestly its really just that a recurring theme of Dick’s stories in canon - and one of the things I turn to fanfic for in the first place, to get away from, to read something ELSE about him - is dehumanization. Reducing his sense of self, brainwashing or controlling him, making him other than he usually is, even just in temporary ways....it gets old. I come to fanfic hoping to read and write stuff beyond that, and Talon fics are so often even heavier on the dehumanizing him aspect of things, like making him even more mindless than most Talons in canon are ever portrayed, and don’t get me started on how often they just flat out refer to Talon Dick as ‘it’.....its just a no thanks from me. Just not what I’m looking for.

Add to that other incidentals, like, its completely understandable in context of these narratives that the Batfam feel they have to restrain Dick while he’s a Talon and in the Batcave, but again, its just not something I’m looking to read? Because for example, another big theme of mine is how uncomfortable and unwelcome I think Dick’s come to feel in Wayne Manor over the years, given the many times Bruce has essentially kicked him out and how little effort he’s made to make it into a home for him again (like I think there are more reasons than just grief that Dick lived in the penthouse rather than the Manor when Bruce was believed dead and Dick was in charge of his estate)....so when you look at things from that angle, which I’m just kinda predisposed towards doing, the imprisonment angle of Talon fics (and the attitudes of a lot of the Batcharacters as they go about it, like they’re just being pragmatic, Dick will understand - yeah he might understand but that doesn’t mean there won’t be mental and emotional undercurrents of resentment and hurt to that understanding)....like, its just one more way/reason for Dick’s childhood home to be turned against him and made a place where he feels or will remember feeling explicitly unwelcome. I’m not saying its WRONG to take that angle in fics, lol, I’m just saying....its not for me. Its just not what I’m looking for.

Also its a bit of a pet peeve to see Talon abilities viewed as an upgrade rather than something inflicted on him by his tormentors and at BEST somethting Dick would have very conflicting views on - and tbh this isn’t limited to just him, I have similar thoughts about how Cass might feel about her own abilities and how even now that she can communicate well with others, she still feels somewhat different or removed from most people because of this ‘superpower’ that had to be ABUSED into her and that she would have traded for her father’s actual love any day - but I mean, there’s a thing in a lot of Talon fics where alongside the dehumanization angle, which Dick isn’t even just expected to just ‘get over’ once he’s back to his regular mental awareness, because its usually never even delved into, how he feels about the fact that for awhile there, he was nothing more than an ‘it’ even in his family’s eyes, and IMO he’s like, funny, I’m pretty sure I’m still the only person in this body all along, so if it was just an it to you, where exactly did you think I was? But aside from the angst I feel he SHOULD have from thinking about how easily he was viewed as just a mindless tool and pawn and thing by people, there’s a tendency to hop, skip and jump to him being okay with his Talon ‘upgrades’ because they make him so much more effective....and there’s just a WAY this is usually gone about that like, for me, glosses over how effective he was without them, and the fact that none of his family members seem to need or think they need them themselves to be effective....and somewhere in all that, it seems to get lost that the whole reason the Court even WANTS Dick so badly is because of how effective he is even already.

Plus - there’s my personal annoyance with how characters with super-fast healing are treated in narratives across the board. In comics, books, movies, shows, fics, everywhere - I ranted about this a TON in Teen Wolf fandom, its a complaint I have with Wolverine and his family in Marvel comics, etc....I vastly dislike how often its just treated as assumed that just because a character heals rapidly, like....the actual trauma and pain of injuries inflicted might as well not even matter. Like, that’s not how it works IMO? When I think about a time I broke an arm, I’m not thinking about ‘oh it barely matters because it only took a couple months to heal and when I view that in the context of my whole lifespan that’s barely anything, it was so fast’....like no, I’m thinking about what it felt like when I actually BROKE it. There’s a tendency, I feel, when characters get an ability to make an injury disappear out of sight out of mind rapidly, to just view the emotional and mental consequences of injury being inflicted as negligible, and not really mattering anymore, and I heavily disagree with that logic. IMO, these characters throwing themselves headfirst in front of everyone else as a human shield, while practical in one sense of the word, is also like, begging to be examined as oh I see, so basically you’re saying that now that you no longer need to be treated with care because you’re invulnerable, you’re worthless and the pain that goes along with all those injuries you get 100x more of now, that’s like...meaningless and fake news.

I mean, even if you make an argument for Dick no longer having pain receptors (which I’d also be heavily against because uh, if you go that route you’re also inadvertently suggesting things about his sensory input and ability to feel varying degrees of touch across the board and again its more the lack of examination of that as much as anything else that’s things that make me go mmmm no thanks)....the injuries are still being inflicted and there’s still gonna be psychological damage inflicted from processing that no one seems significantly bothered by him being ‘family niche - human pincushion for the prevention of others saying oww’ without so much as commentary.

And lastly, did I mention, I just really really reeeeeeally dislike the dehumanization angle that tends to go hand in hand with these fics.

But for the record, like, I honestly do like the Court of Owls and what they bring to Dick’s stories because all of this, ironically is precisely why they DO play so well into his core themes of autonomy and independence and self-determinism. Its just, I’m here for fics where Dick triumphs over them and their attempts to hijack him and his life for their own agendas, and I feel like a lot of the time we see a Pyrrhic victory at best, when going the Talon route, and a lot of THAT time its not even regarded or treated as such, but rather a full victory with no real examination of how Dick’s life is different now, how he’s changed not just by what was done to him but by how he was treated by BOTH sides WHILE it was done to him? 

And the other element here is like....the Court and their presence in his fics doesn’t HAVE to equal making him a full on Talon along the way, just like it never has in canon. I don’t view the fulfillment of what’s inherently a THREAT to his character as an improvement UPON his character. *shrugs* But also there’s just so many avenues for angst or emotional tangles when it comes to the Court even without making Dick a Talon himself.....just have him picturing or having nightmares of imagining his parents turned into Talons and how horrifying he’d find that, or worry in the wake of revelations about the Court that his family is now looking at him differently, imagining the threat HE could be when he hasn’t even done anything. Or there’s the angle of Bruce knowing but not telling him to try and protect him but that causing conflict OR you could go a route I’ve never seen done before, and like, have Dick and Bruce come into conflict with the Court before any of the others come along and like, save Dick from ever being made a full Talon but the point is years later the Court resurfaces and they and their plans for Dick are a complete revelation to his siblings and there’s perfectly understandable conflict because of that even if the reason is as simple and equally as understandable as Bruce didn’t feel it was his to share if Dick didn’t want to, as long as they honestly thought the Court had been neutralized, and he respected that its a painful topic to Dick that he wasn’t trying to hide, he just flat out didn’t want to talk about so it never came up.

There’s a lot that can be done with the Court, but usually they’re just utilized as a prelude to Talon Dick Grayson and bottom line is that’s just not somewhere I’m usually looking to go, personally.

BUT in the spirit of me being completely contradictory as always, again its like I said, there are some here and there that I really get into, there’s a YJ one that really delves deep into Dick’s emotions on all of this and has a prequel set during Jason’s Robin days, when they first encounter the Court, I forget the title but someone feel free to drop it in the notes if you know what I’m talking about, and @dustorange always does interesting things with the Court and Talons that’s different each time and I’m sure I’m forgetting more, so its not like.....a blanket across the board nope thing. Its just I have particular reservations about HOW a lot of Talon and Court fics play out that I’m just....not the right audience for simply because its not what I’m looking for in fics, personally.

I sent this in to another blog, and it can be either in headcanon or story form: "You're the Young Justice-verse's version of Supergirl and, after crash-landing on Earth, you're sent to live with Conner and Megan while also joining the team."

Yes! I can’t wait until they supergirl in YJ! I am going to go with the backstory where the reader is Superman’s cousin.

From the moment you enter Earth’s atmosphere, both Clark and Conner can feel your presence, but only Clark knows what it means. So while Conner is really confused, Clark is already trying to pinpoint your location to see you.

He doesn’t really take how much he’s grown into consideration when he does find you but thank god you managed to recognize him.

Kinda reverts back to his younger days as you hug you tightly.

“(Y/n)!” “K-Kal?!”

When the rest of the Team and Justice League find you two, all memories of Krypton are resurfacing as you hug your younger (or older?!) cousin tightly, sobbing and apologizing for not being there for him.

When you finally calm down and get introduced to everyone, Conner sticks out like a sore thumb to you, and then you look at Clark as if he was the one who just crash-landed on the planet.

“You had a kid?!”You gaped while your cousin started fidgeting with his cape, “It's...a long story.”

You kinda regret crash-landing on the planet as Clark told you everything. From men in a batsuit, to his mortal enemy cloning him, and even multiple alien invasions.

You need help adjusting and sadly, Clark isn’t in the position to help you adjust, so immediately he asks a pretty big favor from Conner and Megan. 

He wants them to adopt you.

Conner is going to have doubts, explaining why it’s such a bad idea, but Megan looks so incredibly happy.

“Look, I’m not sure if-” “WE’LL DO IT!”

Sorry Conner, looks like you’re a dad now.

It is an awkward adjustment for the three of you.

Actually, Megan is pretty happy. I mean, she just got married to the boy of her dreams and now she has a daughter?! Honestly, we stan a queen who has it all.

So getting to know Megan isn’t that hard and you two develop a strong trust with each other, it’s Conner that’s sorta making your adjustment to Earth so uncomfortable.

He doesn’t know he does this but he sorta pushes you away and brushes you off like how you’re cousin did with him all those years ago, so you and him don’t have that much of a familial relationship as yours and Megan’s. 

If you or Megan or even someone else points that out, Conner will try to remedy that as best as he possibly can because as much as he’s confused he still feels like he has this somewhat natural bond with you. Maybe it’s because he’s your cousin’s clone or maybe it’s something else entirely.

So he’ll try to get to know you better, allow himself to open up to you, and it isn’t long until you’re calling him and Megan “Mom and Dad”.

You tell Conner things about Krypton that you miss and that you wished you could let him see for himself.

If you listen closely, you can hear Megan crying out of joy and Conner.exe just stopped working.

Now making friends with the Team isn’t very hard since you have a certain amiability about you.

You and Wonder girl become quick friends as you two both have super strength and like to rough house with each other a lot.

Beast Boy often likes to crack jokes that he’s your “little uncle” and he’s kinda right except for the fact that you see him more in a little brother light.

You will protect the Outsiders with your life, I swear, anyone who so much as glares at them will have to deal with you.

D&D Headcanons for the Batfam

Tim had been asked to DM a one-shot for the YJ team. They couldn’t commit to doing it regularly, but Tim really enjoyed it. He wanted to make it a regular thing even if it was just once a month. Steph enjoyed the one-shot and suggests getting his family involved.

Dick is the first one to be approached. He doesn’t fully understand it, but he likes the idea of acting and family bonding.

Damian takes a week of convincing. Tim finally mentions the possibility of an animal companion, and Damian is fully on board if Titus can act as his animal companion. Tim decides not to fight him on it.

Cass agrees the quickest. Steph had told her about the one-shot so Cass wanted to give it a shot. Acting and undercover work was still difficult for her so she saw it as an opportunity to practice.

Jason did not want to join. Nothing Tim said could convince him so Dick stepped in. Dick got nowhere. Cass sealed the deal with one text. “Everyone will be pretending to be someone else the whole time so won’t talk about real life stuff” Jason claimed Cass harasses him until he said yes. Cass will neither confirm nor deny this but is secretly thrilled Jason does want to spend time with them.

Bruce didn’t understand a word of what Tim told him. Role playing was very different in his mind. Tim was mortified when he realized why Bruce wasn’t getting it and just sent Bruce a YouTube video explaining the game and mentioned everyone was on board.

Alfred declined. Tim didn’t push and told Alfred to enjoy his time away from their insanity. Alfred reads and relaxes whenever they’re playing.

With everyone one board, Tim explains the world he created. It’s super in depth and has the option for all kinds of quests. The first arc of their campaign will revolve around the thieves’ guild of a city in the middle of the continent then go from there.

All agree that it should be recorded so Tim gets to use his new cameras.

The characters:

Bruce: LG human cleric

Dick: CG half elf rogue (there was a fight over this but he pulled big brother card)

Cass: NG dwarf barbarian

Jason: N tiefling wizard (no one had been expecting the wizard part but unsurprised about the race)

Steph: LN halfling monk

Tim: DM

Damian: CN ranger

Titus: Damian’s wolf (strangely good at role playing)

Tim decides to start them off on a good old fashion goblin extinction that the blacksmith they all use sent them on.

Jason insists he has no need for a blacksmith.

Tim reminds him he has a dagger and continues on.

Their first dungeon is cleared largely by mishaps that Bruce heals them out of (Dick and Cass rushing in) and Jason’s strangely deep understanding of his spells.

Everyone slowly realizes that Jason has the highest int as he comes up with the best tactics.

Dick falls unconscious three times in the first dungeon because he abandons tactics quickly.

Cass holds the record for most 1s and 20s and rarely rolls in between

Steph winks at Dick every time she adds an unnecessary flip. All flips are successful, but she’s horrible at avoiding traps.

Damian tends to go along with Jason’s tactics and they mess goblins up together.

Bruce is just so happy. He’s spending time with his kids. Everyone’s mostly getting along. They get to see the absolute genius Jason can be when he wants to.

It takes nearly seven hours for them to finish the first dungeon and hit level two.

Tim was not expecting Jason to choose divination and has no idea how he’s going to keep things challenging for Jason’s planning while making sure Dick doesn’t die in one round.

Everyone wants to play again in a week.

Jason stays for dinner.

Bruce manages to tell Jason that he’s happy that Jason’s happy without running him off.

Steph spends dinner trying to get Jason to explain how he came up with his plans.

Jason reveals nothing.

Patrol goes smoother than it has in months.

Yes, the Red armor seems painful but at least they’re volunteers soldiers and not formal criminals used and tortured like in Guantanamo :( I mean Waller’s ways are the exact ones than Granny’s except Waller isn’t hypocrite about it.

- Of course Bart did eat all the food in ten meters... And I love Ed’s amused face and Bart’s shock when he realises he did eat all the cotton candy xD (I just remember the scene in Teen Titans with Robin and Starfire and cotton candy ^^)

- Livewire brings cotton candy to Mist! :D 

- Ed’s feel down despite all the work he does here. Do you want to create a club with Kaldur? Of course Bart supports him :)

- And Traci nudges Jaime again :( Now I understand why the nudge hurted him in Far Away episode: he has bruises here... Is that the only thing we’re going to see them do as a couple? :(

- The way Jace insists on the hero part feels like she’s doing this on purpose... 

-Why Tara and Brion feel so bad? It’s not their fault! Or did they tell something to Jace thinking it was an innocent comment? 

- Well, Jace didn’t apologise for the argument she created so maybe she did this on purpose. Or am I overreading this?

- Please don’t mention Wally again :( So basically Paula is afraid Artemis got killed in a mission (like she was for fake and like Wally?) and try to scare her with a wheelchair? “What will it take to covince you?” Yes, she’s totally scared and don’t know what to say anymore as a wheelchair (or any big wound) and Wally’s death don’t seem enough. “You don’t have to fight crime to help people.” This point is good, look at Ed :)

- “You and Will” Uh... no Paula, you got too far and that’s not your busines here... “Your sister isn’t coming back and Lian needs a mother.” Have to disagree... You should be worried for your daughter because it doesn’t seem by free will and Lian already has two female figures. So don’t force your second daughter in a relationship just for pratical things... Thank you no thank you.

- Ed and Bart are the two pathfinders/advance men (not sure of the accurate term) of the Team! :D 

- I’m impressed Scarab uses metric and Jaime still understands it. They use metric in Mexico, right? That could explain why he’s at ease with both systems (unlike me xD).

- The Team is so clever! Virgil makes connexion that Vertigo doesn’t have those powers; Traci makes the link that what they see is at cause and Gar finds a solution :)

- “What are you made of?” “Sugar and spices and everything nice.” He’s a fan of cartoons for this second reference right? And that reminds me of the scene between Bart and the Terror Twins at Mount Justice. Bart, sweetie, stop punching people stronger than you :(

- I thought the guy was powerless (I mean litterarly), how could he resist a bear’s strenght? 

- Uh, that wasn’t Vertigo’s voice. “Be careful my love.” So Vertigo (or whoever this is) is with their minion? Like a boss and his secretary?

- Perdita going straight for the nuts xD Vertigo killed her father? That’s why she was queen at ten :( She should talk with Brion and Tara, they also know an uncle who killed their parents for the throne...

- It was Psimon, make so much sense! I knew I know this voice! Meaning the other is... Devastation! We know theiy’re together since episode 13.

- “He... She was Devastation!” Jaime would never misgender someone! :)

- I love when the girl saves herself but the boyfriend is still worried for her :) 

- “Are you... Come on!” We feel you, Virgil!

- The Team is still so clever to connect the clues. Of course Big Brother Ed is worried for Wend and the others ^^ (He didn’t name any other kids. Is it because he “failed” her and not the others?)

- Bart and Ed finish each other sentence! :D 

- Bart is so clever he put fire againt ice xD

- No the boom tube, the boys will be kidnap... Oh come on! I theorise for months about this scene! “Don’t want to know where that would lead us;” Bart, I tried to figure it out for months, be kind. 

- “There’s just no pleasing you...” Jaime, be gentle, Scarab is learning, you see?

- After their fight in season 2, it’s good to see Ed openly worries for his father :)

- Gar is so pissed about the covert part since 2 episodes.

- Poor Violet, it’s not her fault :( But Jace is more and more suspicious. Wanting to keep secrets like this... Did she speak German with “Hallo”? “It’s been a long time.” Who is she calling? Jeff? Someone we don’t know?

- It’s Mal and Karen! :D 

- Vic rejoins them and Forager is happy! Vic is smiling! 

- “I’m more a lemonperson myself.” Bart, what are you saying? xD Don’t change! And that goofy smile xD

“Nightwing, respond.”

“Nice to hear from you,” Ryou said, pressing his fingers to the comm. in his ear to respond to his mother. “I have some updates on the situation in Gotham, and there’s a few things for the company that you should really take a look at, and…”

“Ryou.”

That shut Ryou up fast. His mother never called them by their real names over comm. link, not even the hyper-secure link just for the family.

“I’ve called a meeting at Mount Justice,” his mother continued. “Bring your whole team. This will involve you too.”

“What happened?” Ryou asked. He was already running through scenarios in his head. A new villain plot? Something with terrorism, probably, something that would affect the whole country. It had to be something big enough to justify calling in both YJ and the Titans. They might decide on their own to work together, but they were rarely called together. The Titans weren’t League sanctioned, and using them too often could send the wrong message.

“I’m not repeating myself,” his mother told him. “Be there in an hour.”

That was ominous. But at the same time, Ryou felt like grinning. It had been a while since they’d had something big. Much as he didn’t miss being his mother’s sidekick for...many reasons, he’d been a little jealous when she’d taken off for Europe with Sanada. The al Ghuls were more fun than Gotham’s standard villain fare. At least they had style.

“Team, gather in the kitchen,” Ryou said into the comm. He heard various sound offs that he mostly ignored.

Tetsu and Sawamura were already there when Ryou walked in. Kuramochi zoomed by to sit on the counter.

“Late again,” Ryou teased, because he knew it would make Kuramochi pout at him. He was in such a good mood from the promise of a big mission that he gave Kuramochi a gentle, affectionate karate chop to the forehead.

“What’s the emergency?” Miyuki asked, hip checking Sawamura out of the way so he could steal one of the seats.

“Hang on, where’s...oh, Jun’s here.” Jun leaned back against the counter next to Tetsu and nodded at him. “Good. Everyone get in gear. We’re going to Mount Justice. Batman called a joint meeting.”

“We’re working with Young Justice? Officially?” Kuramochi asked.

“Is there something big coming?” Sawamura asked. “Oh, I bet it’s aliens this time! No offense, Tetsu-san!”

“Aliens would be a nice break from our normal villains,” Tetsu agreed.

“I just hope these ones fight on the ground,” Jun said, though he looked just as pleased as Sawamura and Tetsu. “I haven’t had a good elephant fight in forever.”

Only Kuramochi and Miyuki looked a little more reserved. They both gave Ryou searching looks that saw too much.

“Is this about Batman not checking in with you?” Kuramochi asked quietly. Ryou hadn’t deliberately kept that from his whole team. It was just that Kuramochi and Miyuki were the only ones who’d known him long enough to notice he was worried. If he didn’t trust them implicitly, he’d already be planning their deaths for getting too close.

“She didn’t say,” Ryou said. “She doesn’t want to repeat herself.”

Kuramochi and Miyuki both looked concerned, but Miyuki hid it better.

“Let’s go!” Sawamura demanded. “I want to hang out with Young Justice before Batman gets there. I have to challenge Wolf Boy again!”

“For the last time, his name is Raven,” Jun said. “He can’t even turn into a wolf.”

“But he’s like a wolf,” Sawamura insisted, stupidly stubborn.

“If we’re going, let’s go,” Ryou said. “If you insist on challenging Raven again, make it fast. I don’t want to waste everyone’s time.”

“I’ll beat him quickly, Onii-san!” Sawamura promised. Ryou calmly ignored the nickname. It tended to confuse their enemies, and besides, it wasn’t like he could get Sawamura to stop.

At least he never called anyone by their real name in the field.

One quick zeta tube trip later, and Ryou could watch with amusement as Sawamura got in Okumura’s face. They were both heavy hitters, but in almost completely opposite ways, so it was always a toss up for how matches between them went.

“Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in.” Ryou turned away from his youngest teammate and focused on the speaker.

“Hello, Batgirl.” Wakana grinned at him. “Still openly defying your father to be here?”

“He’s accepted it,” Wakana said. “Well, he’s accepted that there’s nothing he can do about it. Oh shit!”

She ducked behind Ryou, which was a little hilarious because she was taller than him.

“Why are you hiding?” Ryou asked innocently. “It couldn’t possibly be because you see someone you’d rather not talk to?”

“Shut up, shut up, he’s gonna look,” Wakana hissed.

“You’re going to have to get over this thing with Kid Flash someday,” Ryou said, following her eyes to where Kuramochi was yelling at Sawamura to quiet down. “Just because you feel guilty for breaking his heart…”

“Shut up, I was a bitch, I’m allowed to not want to see him now,” Wakana said. “I just feel like apologizing until he goes away.”

“That couldn’t possibly be because you only dated him because I said my best friend was off limits to other Bats because it would be awkward.” Ryou was enjoying himself now, and he was mature enough to admit it wasn’t for mature reasons.

“Yes, I was an idiot and a bitch, let it go.” Wakana dodged into the shadows, just as skilled as anyone else in the Bat family, reappearing next to Haruno, startling the Martian.

Ryou turned to watch Tetsu and Jun strike up a conversation with Takako, Miyuki and Katsuko cackling as Sawamura sent Okumura flying, Seto taking over from Kuramochi to yell at the two to settle down while Kuramochi chatted with his cousin Bart. It seemed almost strange, how well the Titans mixed with YJ.

Under Sanada’s leadership, though, the two teams had worked more closely together than anyone had expected. Since the Justice League had almost completely removed oversight in response to the first generation of sidekicks getting sick of the restrictions and leaving, there was a lot more freedom for both teams to work together when they weren’t scalping missions from each other.

“If I could have your attention.” Despite how quietly she’d spoken, Batman immediately commanded the room. Within minutes, everyone was circled around her, waiting quietly for her to speak.

Ryou looked behind her for Sanada. If they’d found something in Europe, surely he’d be standing behind their mother, ready to jump in with extra details she’d leave out because they weren’t relevant to the mission, shit-eating grin on his face.

Ryou couldn’t see him.

“I have bad news,” his mother continued. Ryou was probably the only one in the room who could tell there was strain in her voice. Was it really that bad? “Robin has died on a mission.”

The way she said it, so quietly, so devoid of emotion, froze the room. For a moment that balanced on a knife’s edge, no one moved.

And then chaos broke loose.

The Titans all stood as a rock in the storm of movement that was YJ at the news. Seto sat down hard, Okumura moved with him, Bart zipped around in frantic panic, and Jaime tried to grab him. Wakana started shouting, Takako raised her hands to her mouth, Haruno started crying. Katsuko sank to her knees.

Aqualad, Raven, Impulse, Blue Beetle. Batgirl, Zatanna, Miss Martian. Artemis.

“What happened?” Ryou asked. It felt like his voice was breaking something that couldn’t be fixed.

“Joker,” his mother said. It was all she had to say.

Ryou set his jaw. Joker had been a thorn in his family’s side for too long, but even Ryou had never actually believed he’d kill one of them. If nothing else, Joker seemed to have some obsession with playing with their family.

“Young Justice is on standby for now,” Batman said. “If you’re not staying in Mount Justice, you’re going with your mentors. Do I make myself clear?”

Ryou didn’t bother to listen to anyone’s response. He just followed his mother out of Mount Justice. She ignored him until they got away from everyone else. They’d easily escaped everyone’s notice.

“What really happened?” he asked.

“We can discuss this-”

“We can discuss it now.” Ryou almost expected to be scolded for his tone. Instead, his mother just sighed. Somehow, that was worse.

“He fell for a red herring,” she said. “And so did I. We got separated, I didn’t find him until it was too late.”

“Too late how?” Ryou was familiar with Joker’s sense of style.

“We’ll have an autopsy report soon,” his mother said. “I wanted to know if he was dead before or after the explosion.”

“Explosion?” Ryou shook his head. “Have Alfred send me a copy when it’s ready.”

His mother grabbed his arm as he turned to leave.

“Don’t read that report,” she said.

“Is that an order or a request?” For once, Ryou couldn’t even guess what her expression was under her cowl.

“A request,” she said finally. “I can’t really give you orders anymore, at least not that you’ll listen to. But it won’t make you happy. And you won’t be able to change anything.”

“That’s not the point,” Ryou said. “You know that’s not the point.”

“I know,” she agreed. “At least let us have a funeral before you do anything about it.”

“Is that permission?”

“It’s me acknowledging that while I could stop you, I don’t particularly want to. I just need you to know something.” To Ryou’s shock, after a quick look over his shoulder, she pushed her cowl up. Her eyes were worse than anything he could’ve imagined. “Revenge isn’t a substitute for grief.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Exactly what I said. You can’t take revenge and skip out on grieving. Mourn your brother with me before you go off avenging him.”

She pulled her cowl back down and disappeared. Ryou could have followed her, but she’d told him everything he needed to know.

Now all he needed was that autopsy report, to see how dead Joker was about to be.

Yongguk’s Route - Chapter 3

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry for not updating for a while. I've got myself a new e-reader and got addicted to reading. I would really recommend the Kingdom series written by Marie Hall. I love her books! Her writing is very interesting and fun.

Today is the day for Yongguk to bring you home. You were sitting on your bed reading books about vampires. You were lost in the story when suddenly someone tapped your shoulder.

You: "Aaah!!"

YG: "What are you doing?"

You: "Ehm... reading a very interesting story."

YG: "Are you scared?"

Yongguk glances at you. He saw your hands shaking. Your eyes moving around quickly.

You: "No, but Yongguk oppa would you ever want to be human again?"

YG: "Of course I do. Living as a vampire is awful. You will face the death of your family and friends while you are immortal."

You imagined losing your friends and family one by one. You watched his expression. You never knew what he was thinking but something deep in his eyes made you can feel his sadness.

You: "I'm sorry for asking."

YG: "It's okay, you're just curious."

Yongguk pets your head smiling at you.

You: "I want to listen to your song."

YG: "It's not finished yet but I will let you hear a bit of it."

You listen to his music, it's filled with sadness and hatred but at the same time there was hope. You want to know more about him. What is it that makes you feel like this? He starts to rap with his deep and sexy voice. It made a shiver go down your spine. His voice so beautiful and strong. You feel attracted to him.

YG: "What do you think of it?"

His face full expectation waiting for your answer.

You: "I liked it very much! You really brought your feelings into this song. It makes me want to hear more of it. I'm sure it will be a hit song."

YG: "Thanks."

Yongguk smiles at you and you answered his happy smile. A second later Yongguk starts to distance himself with his back turned to you.

YG: "Today is the day."

You: "What do you mean?"

YG: "It's the day for me to send you away."

His words were painful to you. You know that there would be a day for you to leave him forever. You didn't realise you were attached to him before he told you these words. You want to stay by his side, but at the same time, you want to be home again.

You: "Ah... I guess it's time to go home."

YG: "You wouldn't like to stay here. Today is the perfect day to send you away. When it's full moon the other members are busy hunting and chasing the werewolves away. We can leave without them noticing us. I will guide you."

You: "Thank you Yongguk oppa. I will always be grateful to you."

You walk away with a hint of pain and sadness in your eyes. It's better this way you thought by yourself. When you left the room Yongguk starts talking to himself.

YG: "The faster you leave the better it is for the both of us. You should live the way you want (y/n)-ah."

You entered the garden, it was dark but you could see the roses in dim light. You stare at the white roses, totally not aware of your surroundings. Youngjae saw you standing there not moving. He keeps quiet leaving you alone. He could see you reach out for a white rose.

YJ: "Watch out!"

You: "Ah! It hurts!"

YJ: "Babo-yah! This is not the first time you cut yourself. Aish I will take care of it."

Youngjae stood in front of you with your hand in his. Just before Youngjae licks your fingers again Yongguk appears. He glares angrily at Youngjae.

YJ: "I want to help her nothing more."

YG: "I'm here already, you can leave now and tell the other members not to come here."

YJ: "Yes sir!"

Youngjae left and Yongguk ripped a piece of his sleeve to tie it around your hand. You could see his trembling hands, he was restraining himself from drinking your blood. The sweet scent making him dizzy. His eyes turning red. The red in his eye made you think that he was sexy. Compared to the first time you saw Daehyun's red eyes you were not scared. You trust Yongguk with your heart, you know he won't hurt you for blood.

YG: "Are you okay?"

You: "I feel sorry for ruining your white shirt."

YG: "My shirt is nothing."

You: "I think it stopped bleeding."

YG: "Let's go back inside."

You: "Okay."

In his room, you could feel the awkwardness between the two of you. Yongguk was walking around restless.

You: "Why don't you take a seat?"

YG: "No I feel restless if something happens to you and therefore I cannot leave you alone."

You: "Don't worry about me, I'm a grown-up woman. I can take care of myself."

YG: "You're fragile and mortal."

You: "If I die you can make me a vampire right?"

YG: "No, only the pureblood vampires can make you a vampire. I can only feed on you. But I will never drink from you even if I die."

You: "I'm saying careless things. Sorry for making you worried."

You backed away from him and crawl into your bed with the blankets over your head. You feel down and something was bothering you a lot. The fact that you felt rejected by Yongguk. Every time you thought that you were close to him he starts to push you away. You closed your eyes and remember his smile, his sexy smirks and the way he laughs when he is really happy. You won't be seeing this again after you've left the castle. Your eyes watery as one drop of tear left your eye. It's too late, you fell in love with him the moment you had to leave.

YG: "Yaaah wake up! It's full moon."

You: "Eh?"

You fell asleep without knowing. Yongguk pulled you up. We have to hurry, the others are outside they won't notice it if we go now. He swings you over his shoulder.

YG: "Let's go!"

You: "Aah! Yongguk wait!"

YG: "Sssst stay quiet and don't make sounds."

You: "But I can hear wolves howling."

YG: "Have you never heard of wolves howling at the full moon? They're howling to mark their territory."

You: "Huh? I thought that handsome guys will turn into their wolves form in full moon."

YG: "You watch too many movies."

You: "Maybe I did watch some Twilight movies, but I love watching TV."

YG: "I'm going to jump down from here."

You: "Wait! You seriously want to jump down from this window? Omg, I can't even see the end."

YG: "Would you want me to walk through the castle?"

You: "Yes please and if you don't mind can I mentally prepare myself before you're doing things without me knowing."

YG: "Whatever."

You: "It's our last night together. Can't you be a little bit more considerate?"

YG: "You have to leave tonight or you won't be able to go until the next full moon."

You: "I don't get it. Do you really hate me that much that you want to force me out?"

YG: "Yah what are you talking about?"

You: "Why do you keep your distance? You make me feel rejected all the time."

YG: "No I didn't."

You: "Yes you did."

YG: "Let's not fight about this. We don't have time to fight like an old couple."

You: "No it's too late!"

YG: "We still have time if we move now."

You: "I fell in love with you! You idiot! Why don't you know?"

You could feel the tears welling up and pushed Yongguk down. You broke free from his grip and ran away on the stairs. Yongguk was standing there.

YG: "Aish! I should have known at the moment she chose me! Ah, I'm frustrated!"

You cried and ran circles not knowing where to go anymore. You fell down and saw a pair of shoes. It was Yongguk holding his hand out to you.

You: "What do you want from me?"

Yongguk didn't talk, he grabs your hand and pulls you in for a hug.

YG: "I'm sorry."

You: "I know that I'm stupid to fall in love with you. I don't know how it started but my heart keeps beating for you."

Yongguk caress your hair and moved his face closer to you.

YG: "You fell in love with the wrong guy. I can never make you happy."

You put your hands on his shoulders pushing him hard.

You: "Take me home Yongguk. I'm done here."

Yongguk let his hand slid down to your wrist. He nodded, his eyes closed. He holds your hand and walks away with you. The only thing you remember was a lot of doors, doors and doors. The main door opens and a thick fog covers your eyes. Not that you could see with your tears running down your face. You keep drying them with your other hand. Why is love so complicated? Your heart sinks and you couldn't think anymore. The only thing you see was Yongguk's hand and some rustling a and howling sounds. You don't feel scared anymore as your feelings took over.

You: "Yongguk?"

YG: "Yeah?"

You: "Thank you for everything. I hope that we will never have to see each other again."

The moment you let go of his handmade you think that you would be able to see the world again. However, this was not what you see. You were surrounded by dead wolves all over the place while Yongguk's hand was covered in blood."

You: "Aaaah!!!"

YG: "It's not as bad as it looks like. Calm down and come hold my hand."

You blacked out the moment you saw all this blood. But the worst thing was how Yongguk's hand was covered in blood.

YG: "(y/n)-ah!!"

The moment you fell down Yongguk got distracted and a big wolf jumped on his back and bit him on his shoulder.

YG: "Argh! Get away from me! (Y/n)-ah!"

Wolves were surrounding Yongguk and you, growling and showing their wolf teeth.

HC: "Bbang! You okay?"

Himchan kicked away the wolf who had attacked Yongguk and used his power to make a protecting wall around you all.

HC: "Jongup and Zelo come help me fight these wolves! Youngjae and Daehyun take Yongguk and (y/n) back to the castle!"

JU & Zelo: "Yes Himchannie hyung!"

YJ & DH: "Let us take care of Yongguk hyung and (y/n)!"

Wanna hear my thoughts on Young Justice? Haha too bad here they are anyway

I’d been hearing for years about how great this show was. How its characters were complex and its plotlines were long and solid and how its abrupt cancellation was a tragedy. Finally sat down to watch it, just finished Season 1.

It’s... fine.

Like, I watched it. Multiple episodes in a day and everything. I was interested enough to see what would happen next.

But it’s not like I was on the edge of my seat. It seems a lot of the praise is for how the plotline does carry episode to episode, and... yeah? Hooray. That’s pretty basic in this day and age. More important is what that plotline actually consists of, and personally I didn’t think it was great. Put simply, there is A Conspiracy. Every - single - time something happens, and it looks like the heroes have won, there’s a scene at the end where the villains reveal that no, actually, our real agenda was still reached! Like, that’s exhausting. A couple times is fine. Too much and you start to question why the heroes should bother leaving the cave in the first place.

I mean, damn near every episode ends with “Nyeh heh heh! Those foolish fools think they won the day, when in fact, we, the Secret Society of the Overarching Plotline, succeeded yet again in our vague offscreen plans! Now let us say our cute catchphrase, as is our weekly tradition.”

At a certain point you have too much overarching plot. This is a full-bodied iteration of the DC universe, bursting with characters. And almost every single thing that happened across 26 episodes all tied into the same evil scheme? That’s too much, man. Have an ongoing plot, certainly, but space out the development with more adventures that are just that; adventures. Miscellaneous villains doing their thing, unconnected to any grander scheme. Overusing it just gets silly.

But really the problem is the cast. Normally, I designate my favourite character quickly and strongly. I have favourite characters in franchises I have no interest or investment in. I love characters. The best feeling is when I can’t pick a solid favourite because there are too many great options, so instead I have a shortlist of characters I love dearly.

If you demanded to know my favourite character in Young Justice, I think I’d go with Wolf. Who, for the record, is a regular wolf. Not a talking wolf or a magical wolf or a wolf with a very expressive non-verbal personality. Just a wolf. He’s big and he’s good at biting. Cool. he’s a good boy, brent

After that... I guess Robin? I like how he does computers moreso than usual. I like his running gag with words like “whelmed”. But even that’s a stretch.

None of these characters grab me.

Everyone feels kinda drab and lifeless. Khary Payton - an actor with phenomenal comic timing - voices Aqualad, who does not tell jokes. Character archetypes I usually enjoy, like Nice Girl Megan and Sassy Jokester Wally, don’t engage me. Character archetypes I don’t enjoy, like Angry Moron Superboy, don’t have anything else going for them. And nobody appreciates poor Captain Marvel. let him into your clubhouse you monsters

And oh my god. YJ made me appreciate all the great shows I’ve watched lately that don’t have teenagers kissing. Season 1 ends with a triumphant scene of eight teens pairing into neat boy/girl pairs to make out. great. But that’s not the worst part. Flimsy love triangles are bad enough to start with. It should be a crime to extend them past the point two participants happily enter a relationship simply because the third person is too dense to notice. Why. Why would you do this. None of this to say the show isn’t good. It has a lot of great strengths. Animation, action, voice work. Some delightfully smarmy villains. Multiple jokes that got huge laughs out of me (most memorably “Dude! She’s your sister!!!!!”). I intend to watch Season 2, and Season 3 when it comes out.

But, yeah. It’s not the A+ show it was hyped up to be. Honestly, I just came here for Static, and now I’m a little terrified I’ll find this version of him to be drab and uninteresting too. 

 Also, their Joker sucks.

top 10 tv series

skaa i was tagged by @fandomqueenishere (thank you!!) in a new tag to talk about why we like these series!! in the original tag there’s no anime included so I’m gonna skip over animes, as we all probably know which my tops would be tbh, so I’m just gonna try to make do with the shows I’ve seen (which honestly is NOT a lot!!) 

1) Avatar the Last Airbender - how can it not have the number one spot? amazing storytelling, fleshed out and believable world, fleshed out and diverse characters, and a balance of humour and mature storytelling wrapped up in a very neat package. 

2) Young justice - anything with tight storytelling wins the cake for me, and in this case YJ’s storytelling is so neatly presented and, in the first season, so well driven that it absolutely needed the second spot on this list. 

3) stranger things - here’s the thing -- i know it had a lot of hype. But it was honestly spectacular; it was interesting and also well thought out and compelling due to the super talented cast. Wonderfully stylized and I really enjoyed it.

4) The Flash - though I think the previous seasons were tighter, what a delightful entryway into the Arrowverse. Everything about the show oozes charm, yet simultaneously keeps a very tight narrative and does a great job storytelling and creating very sympathetic and enjoyable characters. Season 1 gets a special shout out for being absolutely gripping and doing a great job with its pacing.  

5) Legend of Korra - While it’s not ATLA and it has some flaws, LOK does a great job separating itself from ATLA while keeping so much familiarity. The new cast was hard to get used to after how strong ALTA was, but Korra and THE ANIMATION just proved again and again how great this series and universe is. 

6) Shameless - this show just takes you everywhere and its a non stop wild ride. I think in this case, its all the acting that really stands out. In a show thats relentless about its characters and some of the crazy shit they go through, the fact that they can make it all so believable and raw is just beyond me. THanks Netflix for the intro. 

7) The Vampire Diaries (s1-4) - I think these were the best years of TVD, and I think it should’ve ended in s4 personally (with Elena picking Stefan). I think for a show that I was expected to be fueled by romance, the fact it was so plot driven was honestly surprising to me. I think when I look back I think about the complex villains they’ve created, with Klaus and Katherine being some truly interesting villains, and I like the love triangles because they weren’t frustrating, they were truly dynamic and interesting in a way that most love triangles usually don’t pan out to be.

8) Riverdale - this came to a surprise for me because i remember watching the trailer and half-heartedly putting it on my to watch list, but when it first came out it seemed underwhelming. And the first episode was a bit underwhelming. But when the series began unravelling away from the love triangle and, again, being heavily involved int he murder mystery and having the romance unfurl along side it made the show truly interesting and dynamic to watch. Props for subverting my expectations. 

9)  Ben 10 Alien Force- I’ll be honest -- I’m losing steam here and I honestly don’t watch enough TV to figure it out rn nor do I think a show is particularly good enough to be on a top 10 list (LOL). But yes, because of my limited watching selection, this makes the cut LOL. It was a show I was really into and I was kind of not that big into the original Ben 10, he was too annoying to me. But after the 5 year time skip and the maturity of the storyline, along with some nostalgia, I was really digging the more mature vibe of the season. It had good humour and it really showed maturation from its roots, which I really appreciate.

10)  Game of Thrones - this is when you know I’ve run out of steam. Honestly the reason why this beats out Supergirl is because I really appreciate everything about GOT. The production value, the dedication, the unpredictability - and while I enjoy supergirl for what it is I do acknowledge that GOT, though I’ve really only seen bits and pieces, just comes above it. Honestly my heart can’t take the uncertain savagery of this series and I can barely make it through Shameless so this is even worse than that. But I know it has such an amazing universe (thanks to the books) and its really interesting to watch.

So to no one’s surprise I don’t really watch live action so if you have shows you would like to recommend me (please don’t recommend sense8, mainly bc I know its good but i haven’t gotten around to trying it yet, idk why I just can’t seem to do it) please do! I’m a big fan of supernatural or like superpowers, so please suggest suggest suggest! I’ve tried OUAT btw and i couldn’t really get into it. Originals is also on my radar, and I’ve thought about trying Teen Wolf and I’ve seen a few of the first episodes but I didn’t get into it (I’m more willing to give it a chance though over OUAT)
