The power of your mother’s duaa

#subhanAllah #I was absolutely drained after pulling an all-nighter and taking 5 exams #so much so that I didn’t have the chance to prepare iftaar and was feeling SO tired that I honestly didn’t even have the energy to call and #order food #so I called my mom crying complaining about how stressed I was and how tired I was #in all of my years of fasting Alhamdulilah Allah has always made it easy for me #this particular day was the first and only day I can ever remember feeing hungry #and like I said I was so exhausted that I couldn’t get out of my bed and pick up food #my mom had told me to just relax and warm up some food I had in my freezer #but it was getting to close to iftaar time and I couldn’t even get myself out of my bed #as soon as I hung up on the phone with her she apparently made duaa along the lines of “’Ya Allah please make it easy on her and send her #(her being me) food from somewhere”’ #right after I hung up the phone I got a message from someone I hadn’t spoken in SO long who was asking if they could drop off some food for #for iftaar 😢 #right after that I called my mom (not knowing she had made duaa) and told her about how kind this sister was to by chance think of me and #and go out of her way to bring me food 😭 #then my mom told me that she had just finished making duaa that Allah send me food from somewhere and the next minute I received it #may Allah bless my mother immensely and allow me to be pleasing to my mother and to serve her dutifully #Ameen
