Tumblr media
The mission was simple. Some guy had disrupted this dimension and caused a bridge to collapse and some other havoc. You, Jess, Pavitr, and Hobie had been assigned to apprehend the man while Gwen, Peter B, and Miles helped get people to safety.
You were on a roll, until you weren't.
It all happened so fast, you didn't have a chance to move out of the way. Everyone was so engulfed with saving the people from the threat, even you. No one noticed the car flying towards you at full speed, the driver passed out with his foot on the gas.
At least, not until it was too late.
So there you laid, in the headquarters infirmary, still knocked out. You had a bandage on the right side of your forehead because of a stitched wound. There were stitches in your right arm as well where there had been shards of glass stuck in your arm. You had broken two ribs, and a fractured hip bone that luckily didn't need surgery because of your quickened healing process.
Meanwhile, your team stood outside Miguel's office with bated breath.
"How do we tell him?" Miles asked quietly, eyes filled with anxiety.
"What's the big deal?" Jess questions. Unlike her, the others new his infatuation with you. He always spared her from his glares and scowls, when he would scream at them for failures he never yelled directly at you, and he tried to send you out on as few missions as you'd allow. When you persisted to go, he'd always be extra persistent to the group about watching out for each other.
"Miguel is in love with her!" Pav whisper shouted. Jess just rolled her eyes, although it made a few things click.
"We're going to be professional and tell him that Y/N was involved in an accident and we'll explain it to him," Peter said, trying to be practical. But everyone's eyes widened and they shook their heads violently.
"No no no. Ask any spider person here if that is a good idea. Its not," Gwen said which surprised Jessica because Gwen is normally reasonable. The adult looked around at the teens fearful eyes, except Hobie of course who couldn't wait to see how things played out.
"Why is it a bad idea?" Jessica asked, mainly to humor the bunch.
"He'd freak. He'd probably kill us. No, he would. He will blame us and," Pavitr shivered, unable to finish his sentence. He loved you and everyone knew it. And you loved him, but they didn't know that. Although it could be assumed, and many did, you were better at hiding it then Miguel.
Jessica forced the group inside and they approached Miguel. He turned to them with a frown, one often plastered on his face. "How was the mission?" He asked dryly. His red eyes scowered the faces in his office but didn't see the one he was waiting for.
"We completed it, but there was a complication." Jessica informed him, causing his chest to tighten. If you weren't there, and there was a complication.... He raised an eyebrow, encouraging her to continue. "Y/N was, hurt."
Rage.
They all saw it as clear as day. Anger crawled up his throat and spread across his face. His stomach felt nauseous and he couldn't catch his breath.
"How?" He growled. His hands shook. He hated that feeling. Feeling helpless and.... Scared. It only made him angrier.
"Well we were all just doing our jobs and a car came out of nowhere and hit her." Peter B. said.
"It full on slammed her, you could hear it!" Hobie gawked.
"Not helping Hobie." Miles warned but Hobie just said, "Good." The fury radiated off of Miguel and causes the whole team to cower back. He'd never been this angry.
But instead of screaming at them he just sprinted to the infirmary.
~
Your eyes fluttered open and you went to rub them but felt sharp pain everywhere. You blinked a few times to clear your vision and looked down at your wounded body.
"The heck?" You muttered under your breath. You couldn't remember what happened. You just remembered being on the mission. Suddenly you heard heavy breathing to your side and you looked over to see Miguel staring at you. You nearly jumped out of your skin, resulting in a groan from the pain. He hopped out of his seat and crouched by your head. He tucked some stray hair behind your ear but you gave him a confused look.
"Three questions," You began, "Number one: What happened? Number two: Why are you here? And most importantly, number three, why the fuck are you doing scaring the shit out of me like that?"
"Sorry for scaring you. You got hit by a car and fractured your hip bone, and had to get stitches in a few places because of glass. But the nurses said you'll be better in a few days because of your enhanced healing capabilities." Miguel said it blankly, but you sensed the tenderness behind it.
"That's kinda badass," You grinned. "I mean imagine telling our- shit, I mean, my future kids that I got whammed by a car. Wait- what kind of car?" You quickly tried to recover from saying 'our kids', hoping he didn't notice. He did, however, and completely lost focus, gaping at you. You felt your cheeks inflamed with scarlet humiliation.
"Huh? Oh um, I- I don't know. No pregunté, lo siento." [I didn't ask, sorry] He seemed to be in a trance of some sort, taken off guard.
"Well, that's okay. I just hope it was a cool car. I would rather be able to say 'I got hit by a brand new Corvette' than having to say 'Yeah I got ran over by a Kia soul.' You know?" You ranted awkwardly, truing to lighten the mood.
"Mhm." Was all he hummed in response, still staring off in a daze. You wished you could hide under the sheets until he left. He sat back down in the chair a few feet from the bed and watched you. You felt your stomach churning under his gaze.
"Miguel?" You asked.
"¿Sí?" [Yes?] He looked you in the eyes and you looked into his.
"You didn't answer question number 2." You stated. You wanted to turn your whole body but could only move your head without pain.
There was complete silence for what felt like eternity. You picked at the itchy white sheet over your legs and stared at your fumbling hands. Maybe you had overstepped, but you were sick of you and Miguel tip toeing around the subject of your feelings. He obviously liked you, at least, you hoped he did.
"When they told me you were hurt... I've never been so terrified in my life." He admitted, meeting your eyes once more. You were challenged to match his at first, but you forced yourself to stare back at his red eyes.
Miguel O'Hara terrified. For you no less.
You didn't know what to say. Thank you? I'm fine? You don't have to be here? Nothing seemed right. Before you knew it, words were slipping out of your mouth.
"I'm in love with you." You said then dropped your jaw, turning your red face forward and refusing to look at him. Did you really just say what he thinks you said? Did I really just say what I think I said?
Maybe it was because of his silence. Maybe it was because you wee hoping to admit your love somewhere more romantic. Maybe it was because he hadn't said anything to lead to this response. But you were mortified. You felt tears brimming in your eyes, the cause being a mixture of pain and embarrassment.
"I'm sorry, that just sorta slipped." You glance at him for a moment then quickly look forward again. He's so beautiful.
"Its okay." He immediately regretted saying that. It's okay? What does that even mean? Both of you thought in unison. He wanted to tell you he was in love with you too but while he was trying to think of how to say it, the others came in.
"Hey!! Great to see you awake Y/N, we were just coming to check on you." Jess said, then glanced at the looks on you and Miguel's faces and felt out of place. "Are we- interrupting?"
"No," You managed, not sparing Miguel a glance. Gwen gave you a side hug on your good side and the rest of the team stood at the end of the bed. Miguel shifted uncomfortably in his seat and let a scowl rest on his face. You swear he'd scowl no matter how happy he was,, only now he wasn't happy. He wasn't displeased with you, but with himself.
"We're so glad you're gonna be okay," Miles smiled sweetly.
"Thank you," You wanted desperately to get your mind of Miguel. 'I probably look like shit." You chuckled uneasily.
"You look fine." Miguel musters. You can't help the butterflies that erupt at his statement, much to your dismay.
"So, one question." You chose to ignore Miguel, scared to cry. Everyone looks at you, encouraging you to continue. "What kind of car was it?"
"A Honda civic." Hobie stifled a laugh.
"Damn, I was hoping for something cool." You rolled your eyes. Everyone chuckled but there was a looming tension in the room and they didn't need spider sense to feel it.
"Right well, we should head out. We'll check on you later Y/N," Peter smiled and patted your good leg.
"Sorry you got hurt, we'll be more careful next time!" Miles called on his way out, but you assumed it was more to please Miguel than you. The door shut and without missing a beat Miguel immediately stated,
"I'm in love with you too." You beamed after he said this, look over at him.
"I know this isn't the best time, but come kiss me you moron!" You laughed. He quickly obliged, walking to you and leaning over the bed to press a soft kiss on your lips. The corner of your mouth was cut but you couldn't care less, happy to finally kiss him. He deepened the kiss slightly, but you couldn't do much because if your injuries.
"MY EYES!!! I NEED TO BLEACH MY EYES!!!" Hobie screamed after having walked in on the scene. You laughed into the kiss and pulled away, breathless.
You watched Miguel's face, tracing every detail into memory. You weren't exactly sure where this left you guy's relationship, but you felt an ache in your chest from how happy you were.
You noticed the glimpse of sadness in Miguel eyes and ask him if he's alright. He just holds your hand, looking at your slightly swollen (but still beautiful) face. "For a second I thought I'd lost you, when they came in without you," he paused briefly before whispering, "I can't lose you."
"I'm not going anywhere. A few broken bones and some cuts aren't going to be enough to keep me away from you."

The outcast twins (4)
Jake, Lo’ak and reader + sully family
Tumblr media
When enemies from the past came back from the dead, life in the forest felt unreal and unsafe as well. No one knew what to make of this revelation that had come upon them yesterday, as the RDA found another way to fight. Tension in the atmosphere was not good and peaceful, as everyone was in worry or panic of what will happen next. Today decision will be made that might change everyone lives forever.
Y/n " dad supposed to be home but he hasn't arrived back yet"
lo'ak " dad will be home soon"
spider " what do you think the decision had become they have been talking about it since this morning"
y/n " I don't know but I wish we can be with the others"
lo'ak " same but I don't think we are the village favorite people right now"
y/n " we are once again the outcast"
spider " well we are all outcast now these days" all the children were hanging outside of their homes waiting for the return of Jake and norm.
man " hey here comes Jake and norm"
Jake " hey everyone well we came with some news"

spider " I understand dad"
y/n " hey we can still hangout time to time as well"
lo'ak " what was everyone else reaction"
Jake " they didn't seem very happy at the moment but Tsu'tey said he will deal with them"
y/n " it going to be hard for everyone but maybe there will be a bright side to the whole situation"
max " iy good you kids can find some good in this but right now we need to plan, to get everything packed and ready to leave for when we go"
y/n " dad how many days do you have until we have to leave"
Jake " two or fours days we need to pack what will be use for us everything else we might have to leave" the group seem to get upset by those words.
Jake " look I know we are all sad but this stuff can be replaced none of you can, I made a promise to you all and grace that I will keep our clan and omatacayia clan safe and that what I will"
women " we understand Jake"
norm " then come on everyone lets get ready to pack up and move"
max " I will make the calls that are need and see what can be done, we might get the chance to send over some of the stuff before the big move day"
Jake " see if you can do that max that will be helpful and see if we can get spider his own avatar body" s
spider " really"
norm " yes if anything happens you will need it"
lo'ak " that will be cool bro"
spider ' come on we have to go tell kiri she will be happy"
Jake " wait hold up there it not good right now at home, and rushing in there will be bad right now"
spider " but I want to tell kiri"
Jake " you can tell her later right now we all have to get ready to leave"
???? " dad" Jake soon looked and saw his three other kids standing there.
Jake " hey kids come here"
tuk " is to true we will be leaving"
Jake " yes but it will be okay where we go we can make it our home"
tuk " okay"
spider " hey kiri I might get my own avatar body"
kiri " that wonderful I knew one day you will get one I can't wait, it going to be so amazing to see you connect with the world"
neteyam " father and mother don't seem happy about the whole situation"
Jake " I know no one is happy about this situation and it will take time, but I know we will get use to our new lives and hey one day we will be back here"
Jake " I know we might miss out on many celebrations and milestones here but I'm going to make sure to make it, up tp all of you"
y/n " dad you don't have to we understand"
Jake " as I father I will do anything to make you kids happy and safe, whatever you all want and wish for the makes you comfortable I will make sure that happens"
tuk " can we have a group hug I want one"
Jake " sure baby" The kids had been brought into a hug by Jake, he really wanted to make sure all the kids are safe, he couldn't live with the thought of harm coming to them. He will do anything to make sure they all stay safe even his former lovers.
neteyam " so we leave in couple days right dad"
Jake " yes we do the traveling going to be long and bit hard, but we get to see parts of pandora we have seen before"
kiri " I cant wait"
y/n " hey tuk maybe during some of the fly you and spider can ride with one of us"
spider " that sounds like fun let do that"
norm " well you kids can plan that all later as we get packed" The children had nodded their heads and soon made plans, about everything. They were all sad that they were going to be leaving their home for who know how long, but they were all hoping that one day they will be back not caring if the returned the same or changed.
The day of leaving
y/n " okay everything is packed away dad"
Jake " good let me make sure everything snapped on tightly"
y/n " yes dad"
lo'ak " he choked mines as well"
spider " well it good we don't have much stuff anymore to move, max plan really worked"
y/n " I'm happy"
norm " well Jake all the others are ready to leave once everyone else shows up"
Jake " they should be here soon this was agreed on time with Tsu'tey" the group of avatars and human are waiting for the rest of the clan to show up, with their stuff and ikrans.
y/n " here they come" you were looking our for the group and soon saw them coming.
y/n " there you all are ready to leave"
neteyam " ......"
lo'ak " hey kiri will it be fine for spider to fly with me for some of the trip"
kiri " sure"
y/n " hey tuk maybe you can with me or one of our other siblings"
tuk " that sounds like fun"
Jake " there you kids once you all have you stuff on the Ikran I can make sure they are on right, and once that all over we can leave"
y/n " yeah let us help you where is your stuff" more avatars have come in hopes of helping their families.
Tsu'tey " we are not coming none of us are going on this journey"
Jake " what do you mean I have told you all it not safe for anyone"
neytiri " we are not leaving our homes we are staying here, some of the clans have offered to help us"
Jake " it not safe for us or anyone else and why haven't you told me this before"
Tsu'tey " because we didn't wish to as you have already ruined our lives once again Jake"
Jake " what"
Tsu'tey " they came back because of you and now they are like us because of you and grace, acting like you are friends when you are all not"
Jake " we can fight this out later we all need to leave us families and clans"
neytiri " we are no longer families or clan members you all have lost right to that"
Jake " neytiri"
neytiri " no Jake you all should leave and take the trouble with you, we don't need you or any of you anymore we are better off"
Jake " please you have to listen to me and understand what I'm saying"
Tsu'tey " no undertand what we are saying we are done with all of you leave now"
Jake " we can all leave and come back"
Tsu'tey " you all leave and never come back never this clan is no longer your home, for any of you if you are seen again then you will be seen as our enemies"
Jake " what of the twins and spider think about the parents here and their kids that are seen as full navi"
arturst " choice have been made the kids who are navi and one of us will say and forsaken their demon blood parents and siblings" you had seen some avatar parents trying to hug thier kids and speak with them, to get nothing in response as their former mates glare that them.
y/n " huh" neytiri soon ripped off a necklace she had made for you many years ago.
y/n " mom you made that for me to symbolize we are mother and daughter"
neytiri " I only have two daughters and that kiri and tuk you are no longer my child"
lo'ak " mom please" neytiri ahd done the same to lo'ak as well taking his necklace.
Jake " ahh what was that about" Tsu'tey had cut Jake a but with a blade.
Tsu'tey " you are here by no longer are mate there nothing between us and you, now leave we are being nice right now" The same actions had been done to other adults.
mo'at " then I will go with them"
y/n " no grandmother the clan need you"
mo'at " take this when you were going to come of age I was planning to give this to you and kiri, for a future role in life this has some stuff that will help you" you had taken the basket and found a place to put it right away.
Jake " do you kids wish for this tell me" none of your siblings were speaking and standing quite.
Jake " I understand if trouble comes and call me I will come running to you all" the whole situation was sad there had been changes to giving hugs, but it didn't happen at all.
Tsu'tey " remember Jake I'm true to my word there is no bond between us and you all, we are no longer families and clans members in our eyes to you ... you can act like if we are but you will be fools" there was so much pain and sorry in the atmosphere, soon the group ahd left saying nothing else.
Jake " come on everyone we have to leave we can try to understand what happened later" no one said anything else everyone got onto thier ikrans or helicopters, soon leave the forest. You felt tears rushing down you face, and you had turned to looked up as the boys did the same. The three teens had become broken by the words and actions that happened, the adults are doing their best to hold everything together trying not to cry but even they are hurt as well. Exiled and disown from the clan they were willing and did everything for hurt the most, but now it was time to see what else the great mother has to offer you all.

The Marionette
Part One
Word count for this part: 1279. Enjoy! 👻👻
Synapsis:
A new overlord has manifested in hell seemingly overnight. One that overpowered many if not all of the current overlords in all the right ways. Will this overlord use her powers for good to help the members of the hotel? Will she fall in love with a man and end up in a loving gentle relationship? Or will she get her heart broken and turn against them all, burning each bridge she meticulously made.
The Marionette is a heart wrenching fic with many turns you won't see coming. Stay tuned for each of the episodes as they are released.
¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯¯\_ʘ‿ʘ_/¯
The hazbin hotel had been open for roughly a year at this point. Many new sinners had gone into the hotel and had left due to not feeling like the hotel actually worked. Or simply not being able to abide by the rules of the hotel such as no drugs, weapons, and the like. This caused many of the current occupants of the hotel to start wondering what was to happen, and how they can possibly get better to get into heaven.
Charlie had been in the main room pacing for roughly 20 minutes while the other members of the hotel watched before anyone spoke to her. “Why ya walkin’ back an forth so much toots?” Angel asked her. “I need to think of a way to get more people to the hotel. Especially after so much remodeling was done to the hotel after the battle, but yet no one has come to the hotel and managed to stay for very long.” At this point Charlie was getting frustrated as she wasn’t even sure that the hotel worked. No signs of a sinner being able to be redeemed had been shown, and she was beginning to lose hope on other sinners actually trying to redeem themselves. “You have to give them time, Charlie. Many of the sinners are still getting used to the fact that there may not be another extermination ever again. They are still adjusting.” Vaggie was trying to help the situation, and it seemed to calm Charlie down for the most part. “I know it just seems like a lot of work still needs to be done, and we know at this point we can’t ask heaven for help. After all, we all saw how well that worked last time.” “Agreed but we can figure out our own way to help some I just know we can”.
Suddenly there was a loud bang that came from outside in front of the hotel followed by some weird laughter. The group rushed to the front to see what was going on. In doing so they witnessed what seemed to be a turf war between 2 overlords. “Great a fight breaking’ out on our doorstep, what’s next they blow a wall in?” Angel laughed. Right after Angel finished his sentence a loud boom came from overhead and they witnessed a piece of the side of the hotel blown off by one of the overlords. “They're gonna destroy the hotel over whatever stupid shit this is about” Vaggie said “well how the fuck are we supposed to stop them?” Cherry yelled back at her. Charlie on the other hand got pissed off that the reckless idiot overlords were damaging her hotel in the process of whatever this was. Then she suddenly saw that one of the overlords was one she didn't recognize. A female overlord wearing what seemed to be a magician-like outfit with a top hat consisting of many different shades of blue. The overlord seems to be yelling something towards the other but the hotel members couldn't make out what was being said. Suddenly Alastor appeared next to Charlie. “My my how interesting it seems we have a new overlord on our hands”. His sudden appearance jostled the members of the group, but they seemed to all be thinking the same thing. “Wait so you don't know who they are?” Vaggie beat the others to the question they were all thinking. “Unfortunately no but she does seem rather entertaining” Alastor replied. “Yeh all in good fun cept they blew a hole in the wall smiles” Angel says. Charlie was seemingly more entranced by this overlord seeing as even Alastor didn’t know who she was.Watching her fighting style they could see she had a scythe. One that had a bunny on the top of it similar to the way Alastor’s and Lucifer’s staff had an apple or microphone. They all watched on with a new sense of heightened curiosity. Seeing the way she moved they could tell she was proficient in close combat.
Out of nowhere a body of a shark demon was thrown directly in front of them causing Angel to let out a small shriek due to the suddenness. They all whipped their heads to the side to see a demon with cat-like features (similar to husks) wearing a lighter shade of blue staring right at them. “Hey! You guys know you could have helped out a bit if you was just gonna stand there and watch” the demon yelled out to them. “How would we even know we were fighting for the right side?” Cherri replied seemingly annoyed at the demons request. “Kai stop talking to them, obviously they wouldn’t help and mama would be pissed if they did I’m sure. You know how she is.” “Yeah yeah I know but still standing around like bumps on a log is kinda annoying you have to admit.” Kai said to the other cat demon. “Whatever, I’m Alex by the way” the one wearing dark navy blue said ignoring his brother and addressing the group in front of the hotel. “Mama gonna get on y’all if y’all don’t get back out here” yelled out a 3rd cat demon wearing a sky blue color. “Shut up Tsu we’re talkin to new friends, plus it’s not like she’d know unless you told her” Kai yelled back. Alex turned back to the group “sorry to have to leave so soon but we gotta go back and help our mama. We’ll see if she wants to come by and talk to you guys after this fight is over” “you mean after she wipes the floor with that asshole” Kai laughed loudly. “It’s all good we’d love to meet her!” Charlie said excitedly secretly hoping they would bring her to the hotel so she could know who is responsible for blowing a hole in the side of her hotel. “Ah also, sorry for the hole in the side of that building seems the dude that attacked us doesn’t know how to aim, or even control his powers” Alex said. “Get your asses back here or I’m getting mama” the brother they’ve learned is called Tsu yelled. “Yeah yeah we’re coming get your panties out of a knot” Kai yelled back then ran back to go fight alongside his brother. “I’ll tell her to come by to help fix the side” Alex said quickly before turning back to run to catch up with his brother. ‘WAIT!” Charlie yelled out. “Who is this person you call mama?” “Ah she’s the overlord you might have seen earlier wearing all blue, a lot of people seem to call her the ‘marionette’ now I believe” Alex stated as though he was reading from a script. “That’s all I’ll tell you for now, she likes to introduce herself to new people, but I do hope we can get along” “Of course! Thank you.” Charlie said with a small smile as Alex ran to catch up with the other 2.
“Well I guess we ought to prepare for a guest later on, but first I’ll call dad to see if he  can fix the wall since it was built with angelic power to begin with.” Charlie said walking back into the hotel phone in hand scrolling through her contacts to call her father. The other members of the hotel followed behind her back inside as the fighting seemed to have slowed down. Many of the remaining demons starting to scatter away from the scene. Alastor remained outside for a few seconds longer than everyone, wondering what intense levels of entertainment this new overlord would bring to his life at the hotel before disappearing into his shadows.
Welp that's all for now! Currently working on part 2. Hoping to have it completed sometime today and posted maybe Saturday? Hope you guys like this part 🤍

'Que las noches sin ti duelen'
"How many times do we have to listen to this song, Pedri?"
"What? You don't like it?" he turned to look at his friend who was next to him in the car.
"It's not like I don't like it, I just got bored of it"
Pedri laughed.
"Are you sure that's the reason?" he teased.
"Ok, end it here" Gavi said before the two of them sat silent in the car, while the music was still on.
Pedri was taking Gavi home again after the training. It was already 5 p.m. and tomorrow, they have to do some videos about the new Barca kit, so the moment Gavi went to his house, he went directly to his bathroom to take another shower.
"Why is he showering again?" his sister questioned her mom, being concerned about her little brother. He already showered after his training in the changing room with his teammates.
Her mom remained silent until she decided to continue the conversation.
"It doesn't seem like he is good. Are you sure you don't know what happened to him?"
Of course, she knows. He's been acting weird since the night their friend groups went together on the beach. She knew that you were the reason for his sadness. She stayed with the boy all night while he was crying in her arms. He never told the reason, nor did she asked, because as his older sister, she knows when Pablo is suffering towards a girl. Although, Aurora never told their mom this thing. She respected her brother's privacy.
"No" she just answered simply, before going to her room to not continue this subject.
It was true that Pablo Gavi was showering more lately, which doesn't seem so weird until you question yourself about it. He stays hours in his bathroom.
Crying.
He hadn't seen you since that day and it had been almost 4 weeks. He missed you a lot, and he had no one to talk to. He knew that his sister would be mad at him for falling in love with her friend, who didn't even talk to him, and Pedri.. he was going to make fun of him. He had to keep it all to himself, and the emotions sometimes got him. Crying while people think that he's showering was the best idea that came into his mind. Like that, his family wouldn't hear his sobs.
He didn't eat.. not yet. Aurora started to get more concerned, so she knocked at his door.
"Mami made you some pollo con arroz, want to come down to the kitchen to eat?" she asked hoping for a positive answer.
"Maybe later, gracias"
She barely heard him, but it was enough to know that his voice wasn't his normal one.
"Estas bien, hermanito?"
"Si"
That si had to be a strong word, but it only came from his mouth as a sob.
His sister felt like someone had just broken her heart. Hearing her brother at the edge of crying was something so hurtful. Pablo was one of the sweetest guys, and he doesn't deserve anything that could make him sad.
She waited a few seconds after talking again, trying to find the perfect way to say what she wanted.
"Come here, Pablo"
"Come outside, I know you aren't showering right now. Let's meet in the kitchen in 10 minutes. You have to eat and we to talk. I'm gonna tell our parents to leave, we'll be alone."
After that, Aurora left.
She managed to find a reason for their parents to go out of the house, and when Pablo came and sat on the chair that was in front of her, her heart broke again.
His eyes were red and puffy. The boy clearly had been crying for hours!
She didn't say anything more, only went to him and hugged him. Tight. Pablo returned the hug, trying so hard not to cry in front of his older sister. He accidentally escaped some sobs, but Aurora didn't mind. She hugged him until he calmed down completely.
"You have to tell me what is happening to you, Pablo. This is something serios"
"It's nothing, Rora."
"I know you, Gavira" she said with a serious face.
"I am just scared that the next season I won't play that much" he lied
"Oh, you're getting on my nerves. I really want to help you, but if you keep lying to me, then we won't go anywhere. I won't get mad, I promise you."
"I..I really like one of your friends," he said after some time.
"Go on" she encouraged him.
"And she doesn't give me attention at all. We barely even talked, and I'm sure that she doesn't feel the same way as me. She doesn't even look at me as a friend."
"Y/n, right?"
He started to panick at the thought that she knew.
"I'm so -" he wanted to apologise until he was interrupted again.
"It's ok, Pablo. No worries, ok? It's not your fault that you like her-"
"Kinda love her," he said sadly before turning his head to another direction, afraid not to cry again.
Aurora smiled. Pablo Gavi was never this soft. He was a sweety, of course, but she never saw his little brother like that, and she kinda likes the idea of having you even closer.
"You don't have to worry about me, hermanito. Go talk more to her and I'm sure she will like you. You are a great boy, and let's be serious. Who wouldn't fall in love with you?"
They both laughed.
The next day, Aurora invited her friends to their house.
------
"Will Pablo stay with us?" asked one of Aurora's friends.
"Yes, he has some plans to do," she said, and they all looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
She just winked at them and then started laughing.
"Ohh, he is in love, isn't him?" You finally spoke after being quiet for a while.
"Oh, you wouldn't know," answered his sister before you borrowed your eyebrows, confused.
You decided not to say anything anymore, but you felt some pain in your chest, and when you saw Gavi walking past you to sit on the couch near some girl, your heart felt like it just had broken. Your eyes couldn't not look into his.
He wasn't looking at you. Of course, he wouldn't. He is a famous football player, he is for sure in love with some influencer or with a beautiful lady that has the perfect body.
The truth is that he wasn't looking at you because he knew that if he would, he couldn't stop moving his eyes away from you. He knew that if he saw you, even for a second, he would lose control. He couldn't even stand the fact that you were there, far but so close to him.
Aurora saw you looking intense at her brother, so she decided to help both of you.
"Hermanitoo, come here a second, por fa"
"What?" answered the boy after standing up while going near his sister.
"If you really want to stay with us, then we should play something together. God knows when we will stay together again like this. We have to enjoy every minute!"
"What game?"
"Truth or dare!"
"Oh, I'm not playing that stupid game of yours"
"Then you won't stay with us"
Everyone was cheering for Gavi to play, but the only thing that made him not go was you. He really wanted to stay with you. He even sat down beside you, really, really close to another.
The truth is that you hate this game. You never enjoyed playing it, but this time, you felt like you wanted to stay.
You feared that something was to happen, and when it really happened, you couldn't do anything but panick hard. Of course, Aurora would ask you something like this after you said dare.
"I dare you to kiss my brother!"
"What-no"
"It's a dare, y/n"
You argued a lot with his sister, and you didn't even realise when Pablo turned your face into his, and he touched your lips with his. The kiss was everything you've ever imagined, and it was the best one you've ever had.
When you looked into his eyes, nothing was coming out of your mouth. You couldn't love this boy, could you? He barely even talked to you.
Gavi, on the other side, was the happiest that he finally managed to do that, and he for sure winked after to his sister as a "thank you". She only returned his smile, being happy for the both of you.
You didn't say anything until it was late and you decided to go home.
Pablo somehow excused himself, finding a way to be only with you. He didn't even know where this courage came from, but he was so thankful for it.
"I'm sorry you had to kiss me" you finally spoke.
"It was just a game after all, it didn't mean anything"
Oh, and how stupid he was for saying that. Full regret starting to feel in all of his body.
You couldn't say anything. You froze there, not being able to leave the room.
You knew he didn't feel the spark that you felt. Even yourself couldn't believe that this past weeks all you thought about was him. The moment he kissed you, your heart felt like it healed and was the best feeling you've ever felt in a while. You felt alive and.. happy.
He knew he fucked everything up.
"I'm so-"
"It's ok. Really. Like, I get it!"
"What-"
"No, like- I get it you don't.. like me. I get it that you don't even want to.. talk to me? See me? I completely understand you. Maybe I would ruin your career if people see us together. Maybe-"
"Para!"
"Maybe you just stood with us, because your girlfriend couldn't meet you today or-"
"Y/n, para!!"
You did anything other than stop yourself from talking.
"And I can't even believe myself how I managed to be like the other girls. To.. start to like you and-"
"You what?"
Now you only stopped, just because you realised that you said it out loud. It was like you admitted yourself to what you feel for him.
You started to panick and quickly got out of his house, with him following you.
"No, wait!"
He managed to take your hand and stop you.
"You like me?" he said softly with tears in his eyes.
"No, it's just-"
"Dime la verdad, y/n"
He had hope in his eyes.
"Por favor.."
You looked at him. You just couldn't stay there and lie to him. Lie to those pretty eyes.
"I don't even believe myself for this-"
"Tell me!"
"Joder, yes! Yes, I like you!"
He smiled.
"I can't believe this."
"Lo siento, Gavi. I know you-"
"No! Don't say anything anymore. You know nothing. You have no idea how long I wanted to hear you say it. To hear that you like me."
He looked into your eyes and smiled.
"Can I kiss you..please.." he finally found the courage to say it.
You were shocked. Completely shocked.
He laughed at your face, but knew that you wanted it so he did it. He kissed you.
This time, it was different. It didn't feel like it was something rushed. It was slow, full of love and adoration.
"I've liked you for so long, you have no idea. Now, can I finally call you mine, amor?"
You smiled widely.
"Por supuesto!"
I hope I didn't disappoint you with this one..
I have so many ideas of how could I have continued this, but it would have been too long, but I could make a part 3???
When they say "I love you" for the first time or when they introduce their relationship to their friends and families?
I can also do one where we have y/n's version of the story????
What do you say about it?
Shall be a part 3 to this one??
Thank you for the waiting, and thank you if you are reading this. It means a lot to me that you also read this part and took some time of yours to enjoy my stories. I wish you a nice day and don't forget.. love yourself!!
I have a request that asks him "Jealous Gavi," so it will be out soon. I hope that it will be really soon done. I'm working on it

Ross’s quote about the Avengers ignoring sovereign borders comes up a lot and is often used to accuse Steve of American imperialism, so let’s have a look into it.
You've fought for us. Protected us. Risked your lives. While a great many people see you as heroes. There are some... who would prefer the word "vigilantes". What would you call a group of US-based, enhanced individuals, who routinely ignores sovereign borders and inflict their will wherever they choose and who, frankly, seem unconcerned about what they leave behind them?
Sooo. Civil War was a terrible piece of world-building. The first problem is that it came way too early in the franchise, not just for the fracture between Tony and Steve to be anywhere near meaningful, but also the number of missions preceding this that would actually fit Ross’s accusations.
Let’s look at all the MCU movies so far leading up to Civil War:
Iron Man 1-3
Captain America 1-2
Thor 1-2
Ant-Man
Avengers 1-2
Hulk
(Guardians of the Galaxy)
Cap 1 took place in WW2, Cap 2 took place mostly on US soil, with the exception of the Lemurian Star which was a SHIELD mission. Thor wasn’t part of Civil War but he was dealing with extraterrestrial threats that came to Earth. Avengers 1 similarly - the only time the team was out of US was to confront Loki in Germany, and again that was under the supervision of SHIELD. Ant-Man also happened in US territory.
The only person on the team who “routinely ignores sovereign borders and inflict their will” without any oversight was Tony. He did it in IM1 against the Ten Rings. In IM2 he opens the movie with:
I'm not saying that the world is enjoying its longest period of uninterrupted peace in years because of me (...) I’m not saying that Uncle Sam can kick back on a lawn chair, sipping on an iced tea because I haven’t come across anyone who’s man enough to go toe-to-toe with me on my best day.
It is implied - the showing was done in the first movie - that Tony continued his "peace-keeping" activities which consisted of zipping into other countries and blasting everything with fire.
Never forget that even Rhodey assessed Tony as:
As he does not operate within any definable branch of government, Iron Man presents a potential threat to the security of both the nation and to her interests.
Operating outside the law was started by Tony, not by Steve or any of the other (original) Avengers, most of whom were working for SHIELD until they had to bring it down themselves to stop Hydra from killing millions of people.
The narrative problem lies in the vacuum between Captain America 2 and Captain America 3. Avengers 2 deftly avoided discussing who was overseeing their operations, and by the time Cap 3 rolls around they're suddenly a privately operated group of vigilantes?
Speaking of Avengers 2, that's the time someone decided to make a “global peacemaking initiative” without involving his team, much less the global community.
Bruce Banner: So you're going for artificial intelligence and you don't want to tell the team.
Tony Stark: Right. That's right, you know why, because we don't have time for a city hall debate. I don't want to hear the "man was not meant to meddle" medley. I see a suit of armor around the world.
Tony knew the ethical implications and the risks of this but forged ahead anyway. Said murder-bot went all over the world intent on human extinction while the Avengers tried to chase him down. We can argue over whether it was appropriate for Avengers to intervene with Ultron before waiting for the UN to have their emergency committee hearing in 3 days, but I think the key is the Avengers risked their lives to tidy up Tony's their own mess, which is what accountability and dealing with the consequence is all about.
And that's the crux of Steve's argument, which I think a lot of people gloss over.
We are (giving up) if we're not taking responsibility for our actions. This document just shifts the blames.
The Accords passes the buck upwards to the UN…this means both the decisions and the responsibility for the decisions go elsewhere. The situation that riled Tony up in the first place was a mother telling him “I blame you” for Sokovia. Assuming we ignore Tony’s role in creating Ultron, how would oversight have changed the situation? They wouldn’t have been able to create Vision off the cuff, nor would they have been allowed to recruit the twins. The people in Sokovia? Would still have died, and likely far more of them because of a slower response.
But what Tony is saying is if they had oversight, the mother wouldn’t have marched up to him and blamed him. Or as Steve points out, he could shift that blame onto the UN.
Steve’s version of accountability is about taking ownership of their mistakes and finding a solution. Tony’s version of accountability is having someone else make the call and take the blame. (* I feel like this is a thing a lot of people - often young - get confused about. Accountability isn’t just about having someone telling you what to do. Some people and some organisations find themselves in the rare position of having no direct oversight, but they still need to have accountability measures in place - look at the UN Charter for example)
Going back to my original point, the only one shown to routinely ignore sovereign borders and inflict his will wherever he pleases was Tony. The one operating outside government sanction for the majority of his appearances was Tony. The one actively seeking out “criminals” and trying to “win a war before it starts” has always been Tony. Tony might not be the one wearing the red white and blue but he’s the only one gloating about having done the job for “Uncle Sam”. The greatest advocate for American imperialism was Tony, not Steve.

TF141 x Fem! Reader
“I’m A Monster!”
Summary: You ran away from your teams after what you done because you had split personality. They got very worried and went off to find you but they didn’t find you. Many months later they finally found you.
Warning: Angst, sad
Codename: Beast
“Captain, What are we gonna do? Back in battle, Beast almost kill Gaz. Don’t know how long we be able to keep this up.”
“Look Soap I know what you mean but-“
“Sir, look, we know she had split personality but just one. Last time she almost kill few of our mens .”
“Plus she getting more brutal than before.”
You sat on the floor by the door of brief room listening your teammates talking. You quietly sob trying not to make a sound. You remember back in the battle you took down all the enemies but you were shot by one of them. That made you trigger because one or more pain wake up the Beast.
When you were a teenager you had just one split personality that appeared out of nowhere in you. Back in high school, couple of bully’s pick on you but the beast came out from its cage and almost kill them. You did everything you can to get the beast out of you to leave you alone but it won’t leave you alone. Your parents are very worried seeing you in bad situations. They did try to help you too but you ran off because you don’t wanna hurt them.
You went to Chicago to find a new home where you be safe so you won’t your parents. But suddenly, a war began. You help a lot of people from the chaos and take them to the military where the soldiers arrived to stop the enemies.
There were too many enemies coming out, so you had no choice but to fight back. You kill many and many enemies that get in your way. After you kill them, the Task Force 141 were shock seeing you so brutal. You were about to run away but the captain said “Wait kid, why not come with us.”
So you made your decision to join with them, you told them a story about your life and your split personality. They were shock hearing your story. So they plan to come up a solution like trying to keep you happy and calm from keeping the beast come out. It was few years ago, so here you, sad.
You wipe the tears stood up and hurry to your room. You grab duffle bag and backpack from the closet quickly put all your clothes in duffle back and stuff items in your backpack. You grab the paper and pencil writing down then slam it on the table and run off.
You found the truck outside throw your duffle and backpack in the backseat and went into the driver seat. You start the engine and drove off. You didn’t look back at the base but keep on driving and make a new life.
“Y/n, are you there?” Soap knock on your door. No answer. He grab the handle turn it and open it wipe only to meet empty room. The groups walk in and see all your clothes and stuff are gone. “Hey guys! I found a note!” Gaz called out. They gather around taking a closer look at the paper.
‘Dear friends,
I decided to run off after what I heard in the brief room. I know what I told you about my condition since few years ago. I can’t stay with you guys anymore after what I done. So I went off to make a new life myself. I’m sorry guys. I won’t be staying with you all forever. If you hate me, don’t find me. Goodbye.
-Sincerely, Y/n L/n’
“Fuck! She heard us!” Gaz shout. “We Must find her. Feel bad about that kid, come let’s find her.” Price order. “Wait! What if… she doesn’t wanna see us?” Soap question.
“Doesn’t matter, she our team, we may be feel bad after what she heard from us but we still need her. She our family. She may had condition of her personality but we help her few years ago. Now come on! Let’s find her!” Price bark.
————————————
10 Months Later
“Thank you! Come again!” You wave at the grocery lady leaving the grocery store and walk home. It has been 10 months that you quit the military and create a new life in New York. You able to calm the beast from coming out and keep it a secret from your neighbors. You did yoga, meditate, and go to the beach to keep yourself calm. And you got a new job that isn’t too far at your house, the book store. You found it peaceful.
You open the front door of your house, you drop the brown bags, your mouth gap open and your eyes wide in shock. “Hello Y/n… how’s it going?”
Four men’s are in your living room and you know who they are and not want to see them again. Gaz sat on couch chair, Ghost and Soap sat on the couch, and last but not least your captain, Price sat on another couch chair.
“W… what are you guys… doing here?” You feel your body froze, you can’t move after seeing your team again. Price stood up from the couch chair walk toward you “We want you back.” You shook your head “No, I’m not going back, I’m staying here. I won’t be staying you guys. So just… leave.”
Price shook his head “Look, what you heard from us back in brief room, we all feel bad after what we said. But we found a solution to help you.” He’s about to place his hand on your shoulder but his hand got slap. He look at you shock and so are his team.
“Just leave me alone! I told you I’m not going back after what I done back in the battle and our team. Just leave me alone! There’s no other way to keep the beast away! I manage to keep the beast in me after I run away and still no other way to get rid of it! I may be a normal girl but I’m a monster! So leave and don’t come back!” You yell.
Your team were about to walk toward you but you pounce on Price. He groan at the impact and see your not yourself but…. Beast. “Y/n! If you can hear me come back! Don’t let the beast get to you!” He bark.
The team try to get beast off of Price but it manage to dodge them and attack them. Ghost try to tackle Beast but it dodge him and pin him on the ground and knock him out. Soap use his dagger and swung it around at Beast but it grab his wrist and twist it causing him scream in pain and drop the dagger. Gaz try to round house kick Beast but it grab his leg and threw him at the wall creating a huge dent.
Price wrap his arms around Beast middle and putting all his strength to keep you secure from breaking free. “Y/n! Listen, come back! We know-” “Let her go!” He look over his shoulder meeting a blonde her women outside the front door, she wore black shirt and grey pants. She huff heavily and her body glimmer reveal sweats from the sunlight.
“Let her go! Let her come at me!” She yell “Who are-” “No time! Do it!” Price let Beast go as it go after the lady. The lady open her arms wide til she feel the impact but she keep her foot on the ground. She took a deep breath and started to sing.
The beast growl and try to break free the lady’s grip but hearing her sing made the beast calm down til it passed out. “Y/n, are you there?” The Beast slowly lift its head, the woman recognized the look in its eyes and smile “Hello Y/n, welcome back.” You smile at her a little then passed out again. The woman carry you bridal style and place you on the couch. She place the blanket on top of you then glare at the men’s. “Now, tell me why you punks are here?”
Price explain about the situation back at their base and try to help you to get the beast out from your body before you left. “Well… there’s no another way. You see, when I spoke to Beast, it tell me it won’t leave her alone, it didn’t tell me why it won’t leave Y/n alone. Me and my assistant did everything we can but there’s nothing.” She explain.
“Oh… but by the way, who are you?” Soap ask “Oh right, I’m Lena Matthew. I’m Y/N’s therapist. I’ve been her therapist for ten months ago. She did appointment on me on every weekend to take the Beast out of her body. I told her to take a place where’s it calm to keep Beast in its cage from coming out.” Lena huff.
“Now then, all of you must leave and never come back. Just leave Y/n alone, she doesn’t want to see you. She told me everything about you four, leave and never come back.” She growl at them.
“But-” “Leave! Now!” She cut off Gaz words. “…Let’s go boys.” They follow Price behind leaving Lena and you alone. Lena walk out the house see them drove off in the truck. She walk back in shut the door close and clean the room to fix the mess. ‘Don’t worry Y/n, I’ll find a way to make you a normal girl so you won’t hurt anybody.’ She thought looking at your unconscious form, she sigh softly and went back to cleaning.

How to celebrate New Years Eve
Pairing: Suna Rintaro x f!Reader Summary: The former Inarizaki VBC meets up to celebrate new year eve together. (Y/N) and Suna have a dirty little secret as they‘d usually hook up whenever they meet. However, this time will be different. Warnings: SMUT
It was new years eve and you were getting ready in your hotel room as you‘d meet up with your former team. You let out a shaky breath, wondering why you were feeling nervous. After all, you‘ve been their manager for three years while in High School.
However, there was just something that made nervous.
You looked at your phone’s screen, smiling as you read the messages that popped up from your group chat. You checked the time, noting that you‘d have to leave soon just before your phone buzzed as it was Atsumu who was waiting outside to pick you up.
Atsumu was watching you as you walked towards him, „Damn,“ he exclaimed, „you look great!“
You had to laugh, shaking your head, „,it‘ll never happen, so just give up.“
You embraced him in a hug as you greeted him.
„Come on,“ he chuckled, „never say never!“
Osamu was catching up to the two of you, hearing your conversation, „come on Tsumu, how many times does she have to tell you that she‘d never hook up with you,“
You turned around, greeting the other twin and hugging him as well, „he‘ll never get it,“
„We should leave, Kita just texted me that he‘s already there,“ Osamu said.
„Let‘s hurry up then,“ Atsumu said, not wanting to get scolded by his former captain.
The three of you were chit-chatting on your way to the bar. Upon entering, you‘ve searched the seated area where Kita, Ojiro, and Akagi where already waiting.
„Hi guys,“ you chirped, happy to see your former upper-classmates after quite a long time.
You greeted all of them, waiting for the last couple of people to arrive. It didn‘t take a lot of time before Suna and Ginjima showed up. Your group started to order some food and drinks, catching up with one another as you were waiting.
„It‘s such a shame that the others couldn‘t make it today,“ you sighed.
„What? Aren‘t you happy with us,“ Atsumu remarked, earning an annoyed expression.
„(Y/N), how is it working with Osamu,“ Ojiro asked.
„Honestly, it‘s great,“ you exclaimed happily.
„It was the best decision to hire her as a social media manager,“ Osamu said, „the amount of customers is at an all time high since she started!“
„That‘s great news,“ Kita smiled.
„I guess it did pay off that you were our manager back in high school,“ Suna chuckled.
Time was passing by and the amount of booze was quickly inclining.
It was close to midnight as the small group headed to the club part of the bar, which was on the first floor. Everyone was drinking, having fun and just enjoying a good time with friends. There was a countdown as midnight came around.
You raised your glass at the others, wishing everyone a good year. However, after a while the group started to split up as Kita was leaving quite early, followed by Osamu who had to wake up on time.
You were sitting at the bar with Ojiro, Akagi and Suna as you watched Atsumu find a girl for the night. At some point he seemed to succeed as he winked at you as he left with her.
„He‘s unbelievable,“ Ojiro chuckled while shaking his head.
„I know right,“ you giggled.
„Guys,“ Ojiro started, „I‘m heading home,“
You said your goodbyes as he left, being left with Suna.
You turned towards him, meeting his gaze, „I‘m a bit surprised that you‘re still here,“
„You want me to leave,“ he remarked, having a smug expression on his face.
„No, just saying,“ you replied, „usually, you‘re the first one to leave.“
„I know,“ he chuckled, taking another sip of his drink.
A guy was approaching you, seemingly wanting to hit on you. But Suna was quick to wave him off, „she‘s not interested so move on.“
You watched as the guy turned his back towards you and walked back to his friends, moving in your chair you looked at Suna, lips tugging into a smirk, „what was that?“
„Just looking out for you,“ he replied drily.
You hummed, „what if I would‘ve been interested?“
„You‘re not,“ he said, „I know you.“
„You cocked an eyebrow at him, „ah, really?“
„Yeah,“ he gave you a sly smile, „besides-„
Your gaze fixed on him as he took another sip, waiting patiently for him to continue.
„I have other plans for you tonight,“ he stated, locking eyes with you.
Your lips tugged into a smirk, matching his sly expression. You and Suna had a little secret that you kept from your other former classmates.
„I thought you wouldn‘t ask,“ you chuckled, finishing the remainder of your drink, „should we leave?“
Suna cocked his brow at you, wondering if he really needs to give an answer to that. The two of you exited the bar, taking one of the taxis which were right in front of it.
Suna placed his hand on your upper thigh, letting it caress your soft skin, knowing exactly what he‘s doing.
He acted nonchalantly as he let his hand move up higher,  teasing you until you finally made it to his apartment complex.
Both of you hurriedly walked to the elevator, getting inside where Suna finally got a good look of you. He caged you in, looking at you with blown pupils.
„Have I told you how fucking hot you look like in that dress?“
„No, but you‘re not the first one to tell me that,“ you smirked at him.
He knew exactly who you were referring to, knowing that the bleach blonde twin always tries to get you.
Suna had a big grin on his face, „yeah, but I‘m the one ripping it off your body tonight,“
You felt a heat spread within you, wondering why it takes SO long for this stupid elevator to arrive at his floor. Once you heard that *ding* sound, you knew that you made it - only having to wait a little while longer before you could let yourself get devoured.
Suna pulled you by your wrist, swiftly opening his door before dragging you inside. Upon turning around to face you, he pulled you up, lifting you from the ground and pressing you against the wall.
He clashed his lips against yours, kissing you passionately. Your legs instinctively wrap around his hip, feeling the prominent bulge that seemed to be just as desperate as your wanting heat.
He was headed towards his bedroom, carrying you while you were placing a trail of kisses on his neck, slowly biting and sucking on his neck. He saw his dining table, not thinking twice he sat you down, letting his hands hike up your dress before he swiftly pulled it off of you.
„Mh,“ he hummed approvingly as his eyes fixed on the matching lacy set you were wearing, „seems like someone came prepared,“
„Of course,“ you purred, running your hand over his torso, tugging your lips into a playful smirk as you watched his dick jump.
Suna took his shirt off, throwing it over his shoulder.
He came in for another kiss, letting his tongue slide over your lip as he asked for permission, which you happily allowed. His tongue was battling yours while his hands came down to your breast. He started cupping and kneeding them in his hands.
He snaked his hand to your back, unclasping your bra and watching your boobs bounce.
He pushed you down until your back was flush against the table, leaving a trail of kisses from your cheek down to your neck, where he made sure to leave a mark before his lips travelled south.
He rolled your nips between his thumb and pointer finger, making you squirm beneath him. Your breath hitched once you felt his wet tongue slide over one of your nips, moaning softly as he started to suck on it.
Your hands tangled in his hair, wrapping your legs around his hip as you started to grind your wanting heat against his bulge.
He groaned against your chest, „slow down, princess,“
His hands moved south towards your thighs, kissing your soft skin as his head got lower to where you wanted him the most. Suna let his hands trail over your thighs, pushing your legs apart and fixing his gaze on your wet panties.
„So fucking wet,“ he muttered, feeling his dick bop at the sight.
He lowered his head to place a soft kiss on your clothed sex before grinning smugly at you.
„These have to go,“ he said, hooking his fingers into your panties before pulling them down.
Suna placed his hands just above your knees, letting them slowly move higher and higher until he reached your groin, rubbing calming circles against your skin as he tried to keep your hip in place.
He lowered his head, noting how you were squirming beneath him. He looked up at you, lips tugged into an amused smirk before he let out a chuckle.
You moaned when his hot breath hit against your wet cunt.
„Geez, (Y/N),“ he shook his head in amusement, „you are one impatient little brat,“
Your breath hitched when his tongue slid across your wet slit. One moan followed after the other spilled over your lips.
Suna‘s tongue was circling around your clit while he placed his digits in front of your entrance, listening to your moans as he inserted them. Instinctively, your hips started to grind against his hand once he started to push his digits in and out of your wet cunt.
The lewd sounds seemed to be echoing off the walls, wet sounds were heard as his knuckles hit against your cheeks.
„Fuuck,“ you whined, nearing the edge as you tugged at his hair.
Suna knew your body well, even though your hook ups have been limited to a few times. He knew that you were about to orgasm, denying it, he simply pulled his fingers out.
You groaned at the sudden emptiness, „fuck you, Rin,“
„Come on, you know me,“ he said with a smug expression.
He leaned down, propping himself up on his elbows which were next to your head, placing a soft kiss on your lips.
„Legs,“ he breathed against the crook of your neck, waiting for you to wrap them around his hip before he lifted you off the table. He was headed towards the bedroom, where he carefully placed you on the edge of his bed.
Suna placed a finger under your chin, lifting it up until your eyes locked, „how bout you put that pretty little mouth of yours to work?“
Your lips tugged into a smirk, placing your hands on his thighs you let them wander up to the button of his pants. Ever so slowly, you opened the button and unzipped his pants before you let them slide down. He stepped out of them once they were pooled around his ankles, kicking them into the darkness of his room.
Your hands were running up his sides, teasing him just like he did with you. His dick was jumping eagerly, wanting to be freed out of its tight confines.
„Who‘s the needy one now,“ you joked, noting his hungry look as your eyes locked.
„(Y/N),“ he said with a low, husky voice, wrapping his hand around your neck.
You flashed a smile, tugging at the waistband of his boxers before pulling them down. You bit your lower lip at the sight of his thick cock, which looked delicious as a bead of precum was glistening on his tip. Suna let out a shaky breath as he watched your every move.
You brought your hand up to his cock, using his precum as you pumped his hard cock a couple of times.
„Fuck,“ he groaned, cursing himself for teasing you before.
You straightened your back, opening your mouth before you took him in. He felt your soft tongue circle around his tip, making him jerk his hips. You felt his cock slide further down your throat, locking eyes with him as you took more of him.
„Just like that,“ he praised, „fuck!“
You moved your head at a steady place, pressing your thighs together as his moans sounded oh so pleasing.
„Can I-,“ a groan spilled over his lips, „can I fuck that throat, princess?“
You let him take over as he brought one of his hands behind your neck, keeping you in place as his hips started to thrust against you. You felt his cock reach the back of your throat as he let his primal side take over.
Your gaze met his, tears pricking at the corners of your eyes. Drool was spilling over your lips and down your chin. You gagged around his large cock as your tears started to run down your cheeks.
„You look so good, gagging around my cock like that,“ he breathed.
Suna loved the sight in front of him, knowing that it was one that could make him cum right then and there.
He slowed his pace before pulling his cock out of your mouth, stroking his length, „turn around,“
You did as you were told, turning around onto all fours.
„What a pretty little cunt,“ he said as placed an open mouthed kiss on your lower back.
He aligned himself with your wet cunt, slowly sinking into it. Your breath hitched as you felt him deep inside, feeling how your legs started to tremble in anticipation.
„Fuck, your cock feels so good,“ you moaned.
„Mh, it does, doesn‘t it,“ he cooed.
He picked up his pace as he pushed his cock in and out of your wet cunt. Suna‘s hands were placed on your hips, holding you in place.
He pulled his length out almost completely before ramming it into your cunt, which left you a moaning mess.
Suna lifted his hand before bringing it down in a swift motion against your cheek, leaving a red mark on your ass.
„Fuck,“ you cursed, „do it again!“
He let out a low chuckle before repeating his ministrations, „you like being spanked?“
„Y-yeah,“ you moaned, feeling yourself get closer to the edge.
Suna felt your walls clench around his cock, „are you close, princess?“
You simply nodded your head, feeling to overwhelmed to speak.
He continued to fuck your wet cunt as he leaned down, his lips brushing against your ear, „then cum for me, cum all over my dick,“
His hot breath against your skin, his words, and the fact that his cock was balls deep inside of you was enough to push you over the edge, turning you into a moaning and trembling mess.
He watched you as you flopped down onto the mattress, giving you a second to come off your high. He was pumping his cock, needing to find a release soon.
„Come on, turn around,“ he said, „I‘m not done with you,“
You sat up, turning towards him before he kneeled onto the bed, catching your lips in a passionate kiss. Suna pushed your back down, pinning you between him and the mattress.
He grabbed your legs, placing them on his shoulders as he pushed his cock into you.
„Fuck,“ you groaned, feeling overstimulated.
„I know, princess,“ he cooed before he started to pound into you.
He was moaning at the depth he was reaching, hitting your cervix with each thrust.
Suna brought his hand to your neck, wrapping his fingers around it. You couldn‘t take much more as his cock filled you up.
„Fuck me, Rin,“ you breathed, spurring him on.
He groaned, tightening his grip around your neck and holding his gaze fixed on you.
Suna felt your walls clench around his length, signaling that another wave of pleasure was nearing.
„Damn,“ he moaned, „am I fucking you that good?“
You bit your lip, nodding at him with a flustered expression. Suna‘s cock was twitching eagerly as he was chasing after his orgasm. He lowered his head as he nuzzled the crook of your neck, sucking and biting on your sensitive skin.
His hot breath was hitting against your skin as he moaned desperately as he was nearing his edge.
„Rin, fill me up,“ you moaned, „I want you to fill me up,“
That was it. That was all he could take.
He came with a loud groan, painting your insides white before he collapsed on top of you.  The two of you were laying there in silence while you your hand was tangled in his hair, playing with it.
You felt as his cock slipped out of your cunt, his cum trickling down onto his mattress.
„You‘ll be the death of me,“ he breathed against your neck.
„What,“ you chuckled, „what do you mean?“
„(Y/N), you just do things to me,“ he replied as he propped himself up, laying next to you.
You turned your head as you watched him wrap his arm around you and pulling you close.
You cocked an eyebrow, still unsure of what he meant.
„Let‘s get cleaned up,“ he suggested, looking down at you.
„Ugh,“ you groaned, „I don‘t wanna get up,“
„Then just stay here,“ he said as he got up, „I‘ll be right back.“
With that you watched him leave his bedroom. However, it didn‘t take long before he returned with a wash cloth and a glass of water. You cleaned yourself up, drinking some of the water he gave you before placing it on his nightstand.
„Here, put this on,“ he handed you one of his shirts to sleep in.
He laid back next to you, pulling you closer until you were partially laying on top of him.
„(Y/N),“ his voice sounded different.
„Hm?“
„I- ugh,“ he groaned, searching for the right words, „I can‘t continue like this?“
„Like what?“
„Like this,“ he said, „I can‘t do this any longer,“
You lifted your head, looking at Suna with a questioning look, „did you meet someone?“
„Wha-, no,“ he sighed, „you‘re not getting it,“
„Suna you just fucked my brain out,“ you replied, „of course I don‘t get it,“
He chuckled at your comment before getting serious again, „I want more-,“
„We see each other every couple of months,“ he started, „then we hook up and part ways before everything repeats-,“
„I don‘t want that any more,“ he explained, „I want you right here beside me every night,“
„I don‘t want to have to sneak around,“ he said, „I want to tell our friends that I in fact have someone I like,“
You looked at him, eyes wide in surprise.
„You‘re so much more than just a friend,“ he sighed, „I want to be with you,“
Your lips tugged into a soft smile as you brought your hand up to his cheek, cupping it as you turned his head towards you.
His expression softened, seeming relaxed as you closed the distance to place a loving kiss on his lips.
You snuggled against him, slowly dozing off with a happy smile on your face.

Missing You [2]
[1]
(Al-Rawabi) female reader
Note : I've decided to make it into a Hiba fanfic, but this chapter is still kind of a build up. I'm working on the third chapter at the moment which will finally have much more interaction with Hiba. Also for the side characters which I don't remember the names of I will be making them up (like this chapter, one of Layan's brothers name I think wasn't mentioned?? also can someone remind me how many brothers Layan has? I think it was 3) Warnings : Mentions of death, abuse, slut shaming, mentions of bullying, angst (so much), grief, swearing, blood. Summary : Y/N goes to Layan's memorial and has a fight with the others for allowing Mariam to join, when she's back home a misunderstanding happens causing Y/N's brother to punish her just like old times.
1,440 ___________________________________
It's been a tiring first week, there were already girls who built a high reputation for themselves in such a short period of time. But a group of girls stood out the most to me. They reminded me so much of Layan and I when we hung out with our friends Rania and Ruqqaya. Especially Tasneem, she was so much like Layan and so nice and sweet. But her friend? Hiba? I despised her, hated her with a passion, ever since she banged on the bathroom stall mocking me with just a smile.
Ever since then she hasn’t left me alone as she repeatedly stopped me in halls, classes, locker rooms, restrooms, everywhere. She was everywhere taunting me just because she found it entertaining to do so. “What’s wrong, loner? Don’t have any friends? Aww no one wants to be around you, I can see why.” she would say. And because I never responded she’d eventually get bored and leave only to return the next day.
It was finally the first weekend. I was in my room when I got a text from a number I hadn’t seen pop up in a while, that read ‘It would be great to have you there y/n’ Rania then sent a location along with another attached message, ‘A memorial for Layan’. My finger hovered over the notification until I pressed it. She also sent the time and picture of the entrance. ‘It’s tonight’ she typed, I didn’t reply not wanting to promise anything.
I put together an outfit carelessly, a sweater and jeans with sneakers. Then checked the time to see how long I had left but not before poking my head out the door listening to see if anyone other than me was home, thankfully I was alone, and I had about an hour to spare so I decided to have a walk around the area, locking my room so they’d think I’m sleeping.
Once I arrived I was surprised and overwhelmed by how many people were going into the room the memorial was being held in, I contemplated on whether I should go in or just leave and go back home. They’d understand, right? But it didn’t feel right… So instead I decided to watch from outside of the building, the room had lots of windows so it wasn’t hard. For once I was grateful for how dark it was outside because whoever was inside couldn’t see me. More people were flooding in and so did the memories. Eventually Rania came in with Noaf and….Miss Abeer? Shit.
But that wasn’t all, when Rania sang a song in honor of Layan, she nodded towards someone at the entrance to come and sit with a smile. When I shifted my eyes in curiosity as to who came in when everyone was here… “no..” I whispered to myself. ‘How dare she show her face here?’ I thought to myself. To say I was enraged would be an understatement, tears welled up in my eyes in frustration once they comforted her as she cried. I felt betrayed. Everyone knows she’s the reason Layan was caught. If she had just minded her own business, I would still have my older sister. But instead she’s here…crying!? When she clearly has no right to.
I waited until everyone started to leave, leaving only Noaf, Dina, Rania, Ruqqaya, and Mariam catching up sitting in a circle, before slowly walking inside the room tear stains evident on my face. “y/n?” Noaf sprinted towards me for a hug which led the others to come forward as well. However, my eyes didn’t leave Mariam’s face where she awkwardly stood avoiding my gaze which eventually the others realized and let go making the tension in the room grow more intense. “I think…it’s best I leave. My mom is waiting for me” I felt too betrayed to move as I watched her leave.
“Are you guys serious? You invited HER?” My voice cracked while I stared at them in disbelief “she feels remorse, it wa-” Dina attempted to defend her “SHE’S A KILLER FOR FUCKS SAKE!” I take a step towards her with my eyes still wide in shock about the fact that they continuously defended her. “Hey. It wasn’t her fault. She was defending herself from your bullshit. If anything it’s definitely your brother’s fault he killed her for “honor” what kind of family does that? You all are SICK.” Noaf walked out after that with Dina following behind calling her name, neither sparing anyone a glance.
I turned towards the other two who stepped closer to me in an attempt of comfort but I just stepped back and looked at them, “Is that what you think as well..?” “y/n of course not, I get where you’re coming from, but what’s done is done and throwing the blame around over something that fate had decided is no use.” Ruqqaya pulled me in for a hug, which Rania eventually joined, and my head instantly slumped on her shoulder allowing the tears of grief to fall. No matter how much I cried it never seemed like enough. Never seemed like the grief would end. “I miss her so much” my voice broke into a sob “we miss her too y/n, we miss her too” Rania sniffled patting my back gently.
__________________________________________
I lost track of time and arrived back home when it was close to midnight, carefully making my way up the stairs knowing that there’s a high chance my parents or brothers are back home. “Where were you?” Saleh, the second eldest, sternly asked, but before I could even think of an answer he pulled me towards him roughly by my hair while he stared intensely at my neck. He gave me a look of pure disgust and hatred, then striking my face which automatically made me yelp in shock and pain. ‘The cigarette burn! I’ve hidden it pretty well for a while I’m sure of it. Must’ve smudged and wore off leaving the angry irritated wound to stand out’
“What’s going on? Saleh what happened why’d you hit her??” my mom tried to pry off his hands from my hair but he only tugged harder making my face scrunch up in pain. My eyes were so dry from all the crying today I had no strength to cry anymore. “Your second mistake of a daughter is following into her older sister’s shoes.” He angrily points at the burn, it took me a while to understand what was going through his mind and when I did I tried to clear things up. “No wait you don’t understand! I swear it’s not what you think, I got burnt doing my hair I swear it” I attempted to defend but he didn’t seem to believe me, and neither did my mother with the evident look of sadness and disappointment showing up in her eyes.
“I say we punish her so she doesn’t turn into her slutty sister. Who died in shame.” He spat, “How could you say such a thing about Layan you stupid son of a-” I attempt to repeat his actions back at him but before I lift my arm to swing it he doesn’t hesitate to smash my head against the railing causing my mom to scream at him to stop but I just feel the tugging at my hair get more intense till he throws me into the shared bathroom and locking me in. My vision was blurry and I could feel some sort of liquid trickling down my head, I reached for it and saw that it was my own blood. Suddenly the lights flickered then went off. This. THIS threw me off. They know I hate being trapped in dark tight spaces.
“I don’t want to hear a single sound from you. UNDERSTOOD?” my father shoved his pointed finger in my tear stained face. Yelling at seven-year-old me for making a fuss about not eating my food, which I didn’t like because I hated vegetables. When I didn’t respond and just continued crying he put me in his closet and locked it with his key causing me to only scream louder and hit the closet door in an attempt to get out. After a while Layan, who was 8, would always unlock the closet with a screwdriver and get me out. As a way to comfort me we’d play Ludo or other boardgames while we hid from our dad and brothers under the bed. Yes it was tight and dark but she was there with me…protecting me.

When Hawkeye woke up that morning he knew something felt different. At first, he thought it could have been what Frank was arguing about with B.J. but that couldn’t be it.
Tale as old as time. He thought to himself.
But as he started to wake more he realized, today was the day someone was coming to interview some of the people working at their M*A*S*H unit.
He wasn’t sure whether he looked forward to or dreaded it, but either way, it was coming.
“You okay Hawkeye?” B.J. asked and the surgeon shrugged.
“Was gonna write to my dad this morning, but I think that’s going to have to wait,” he pointed to the jeep pulling into the unit.
“I’m sure you’ll have time to do it in the afternoon. It’s too bad not everyone is here for the interview,” he commented, noting yours and Major Houlihan’s absence, both away on a weekend trip to Tokyo. “Would have been good to hear from both of them.”
Hawkeye nodded his head and they exited the swamp waiting to be called on for their interviews.
Hawkeye did his interview in the mess tent. Some of the questions he thought were peculiar, almost wondering what was being hidden from the public about the war and seeing and hearing how normal things were going on back home only made him miss it more. He missed Maine, his practice in Boston, he missed his friend Trapper, and most of all, he missed feeling safe. As much as Hawkeye had come to love the South Koreans, their country had only brought him fear and he imagined it was the same for them, except eventually, hopefully, he got to go back home. This was their home.
Once the interview was over and he had just gotten settled in his tent, the notice came out that they were flying in more wounded and all available personnel needed to report to the OR immediately.
He sighed, putting down the paper and pencil he was going to use to write to his father and rushed out to triage.
He wasn’t sure how many hours later it was when they finished, but all he knew was he couldn’t fall asleep. Not immediately anyways, eventually the exhaustion would take over, but for now, the adrenaline was coursing through his veins and it needed to die down before he got any rest.
So he picked up the pen and paper he had left on his bed and sat down outside under the light of a portable lamp and began to write.
Dear Dad,
What a day it’s been. I know I’ve told you about our busy days here, but this one was a little different. A documentary group had come to interview all of us on what it was like being close to the front of the war. I’m not sure if they got what they were looking for.
A little while after the interviews finished a new wave of choppers came with wounded soldiers and we tended to them all night. I just got out of the OR myself.
I feel a bit bad though because I think I lied when the interviewer asked me a question. He said, who are your heroes? I wasn’t sure I had any so I said I didn’t but the more I thought of it I figured it out and it’s even funnier because get this, she hates my guts.
I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned the new surgeon who’s joined our unit. She’s from New Hampshire and worked as a nurse in the Second World War. She’s phenomenal, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone more capable for her position. I must admit a few of us were skeptical when she first arrived, but she’s got a knack for it, keeps up to date with the journals, and managed to save a few patients who wouldn’t have made it otherwise because of that.
Just a little while ago, we had this kid come into the OR, we knew right away there was nothing we’d be able to do for him and cutting him up would just add to the unpleasantness so we gave him some painkillers to at least numb him, but he was still lucid. He grabbed her arm and started calling her mom, all of us thought he was delusional or the pain was making him see something in her that wasn’t there. B.J. was about to step in and tell the boy that his mother wasn’t there, but she stopped him and sat down and acted like his mother until he was gone. It was one of the most selfless things I’ve ever seen anyone do here. It was no easy job, he was scared out of his mind, didn’t want to die, but then again who would at eighteen? Turns out he was carrying a picture of his mother on him when he went, the resemblance was uncanny.
I don’t know if I’d ever be able to do that for someone. I’m a doctor, I know I can do that much, but she’s a mom too, there’s another level of thinking there that I don’t understand. Suppose I never will.
And she’s not just a good doctor, I wish you could have seen the way she surprised everyone the other week. Father Mulcahy, I’ve told you about him, he’s our unit’s chaplain, and likes to organize sports and games to keep the morale high around here, so he planned a game of football for some of the enlisted men, a few of the surgeons were around when he suggested it and she asked if she could join them. One of the privates commented that maybe the game might be too rough for her, but before he could protest any more she took the ball from the Father and marched out to the middle of the compound. She asked the private to try and block her and when he refused she gave rank and the poor guy had no idea what was coming for him. She easily managed to get past him and across the line but didn’t stop there. Next, she tossed him the football and told him to try and get past her. Since he was embarrassed of course he had to try and rise to the occasion, but I’m sure you can sense where I’m going with this. She tackled the crap out of him then picked herself up and dusted off her pants as if nothing had happened. B.J. found out later that her mom was sick a lot when she was younger so she spent a lot of time with her dad and one of their favourite pastimes was playing football. I think all of us here at MASH can say without a doubt that he taught her very well.
Aside from that, I narrowly avoided spending the rest of my life in the stockade just by being a good doctor. It was the 557th time Frank had tried to court marshall me for mutiny, but all that came out of it was that Frank is an incompetent doctor and surgeon and I had every right to drug him with novocaine so his reign of terror would end.
Not much else has happened here aside from the usual surgery, sleep, and bad food, but I hope all is well at home. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Love,
Your son,
Hawkeye Pierce

Survive - HoTD Zombie Apocalypse AU - HoTD x F!Reader PT 4
Tumblr media
Warning: death, zombies, birthing, cursing
A/n: THE END OF AN ERA! sorry it's about 500 words shorter than my other chapters but I'm happy with it.
***
It's been 5 years since the start of the outbreak, since we lost so many people. We've gotten along pretty fair considering the circumstances. We've fortified the cabin and surrounding acres of land, made it safer and the fences stronger. We've even taken in some stragglers before they set off, our little cabin acts as a halfway point/resource center for those still around. Life is good.
"Hello my dear wife," Aemond says as he comes into our shared room, "and how is our little ass kicker?" He gently places a hand on my swollen belly.
"They are kicking my bladder every hour on the hour, it's as though they know it annoys me to no end," I laugh. I begin to stand from the vanity with Aemond's help, "how is the fence holding up? I know last month it was starting to cave in slightly."
"We were able to reinforce it, Jace and Aegon went into winterfell and found stronger fences"
"Good, it'll be good to add some perimeter to the current fence so we can add the garden into the fence for extra security," I say while we walk out of the room.
There are always new faces, survivors from all across westeros. Dornish folk who had come this way in search of supplies or any news of what may have happened.
We have been able to share information and trade supplies. In the last five years that word spread, of a group of Samaritans, who help those as well as shelter anyone in need.
Alys Rivers is one of the people we have sheltered, she is knowledgeable in herbal medicine. She is Jace and Joffery’s cousin and had received word that we were surviving and she was able to find us.
Aemond has his hand on my lower back to help guide me down the stairs
“Good morning Alys!” I say as I see the woman talking with Jace in a corner.
“Morning, is the tea I've brewed helping with your morning sickness?” she asks while excusing herself from Jace.
"Yes, the tea is working so well! I truly appreciate you and you medicinal knowledge, it's been a huge help," I tell her while holding both of her hands.
"And remember, when the time comes and you need to have Aemond or anyone get me, I've delivered plenty of babies helping my mother back in Harrenhal. Before all this" she gestured.
"Of course! I would never trust anyone else with helping deliver my baby" I say as I run a hand over my swollen belly, "well I have to be off, Nyra and I are going to be in the garden, we have some tending to do,"
"Well if you need anything, just shout," she says while giving me a hug and then walking away.
"Aemod, do you mind helping me out to the garden?"
He smiles as he leaves a new visitor's side making his way to me.
***
Nyra and I were tending the garden, rather she was while I watched the littles, being nine months pregnant was difficult but I still wanted to be of use. The garden was just outside the cabin's gates so Nyra and I were armed.
"So have you and Aemond thought of a name for the little one yet?"
I laugh, "well we want to wait to see-" a scream cuts me off. I ready my knife, I look to see one of the dead breach into the garden. The scream came from little Aegon. He comes rushing to us uninjured. I stab the thing in the skull. Turning towards Nyra only to see a dead thing approaching and as if on instinct I push her and Aegon out of the way, only to be bitten in the shoulder before stabbing that one in the skulls as well.
"Fuck," I feel a gushing between my legs, seeing liquid below me, "Nyra, the baby!"
"Shit, Y/n why did you do that my sweet girl, it's going to be ok. Rhaena! Get Aemond and Alys! Come sweetling you need to lay down,"
I do as Nyra says and lay in the lush greens of the garden, the pain in my shoulder causing me to wince. I begin my breathing.
"Ok, sweet girl I'm going to need you to push ok? On three. One, two, Three! Push!" Alys says as she quickly kneels down by my legs, ripping away my underwear.
I push with all my might. "Hgh! Fuck! Where is Aemond, he needs to be here!"
"I'm right here my love," he says as he grabs my hand.
"OK now big push!" Alys says as she moves more of my dress out of the way.
"FUCK!" I scream, pushing as hard as I can as I feel something come out of my body. A baby cries. I laughed exhaustedly, looking down at the baby in Alys arms.
"It's a boy, it's a beautiful healthy baby boy," she says smiling at me.
"A boy," Aemond says, kissing my forehead.
"Luke, I want to name him Luke," I say as Alys brings him to Aemond.
"Oh sweet girl," Nyra says as she coos over Luke and kisses my forehead.
"Oh fuck I have to push again," I moan out.
"What? A-another baby?" Aemond asks, shocked.
"It could be the after birth," Nyra says going back into place, "now push"
I push again, and another crying baby is heard. I can feel the tears fall from my eyes, happiness and sadness all mixed. Happiness that my babies are healthy, sadness because I would never be able to watch them grow up.
"Visenya, she should be named Visenya," I say smiling at Nyra before wincing in pain, "I want to hold them at least once." I whimper out.
Nyra and Aemond hand me both Luke and Visenya, "hi little ones, I'm y-your mother, I have waited for you for years and to finally meet you! I'm sorry I can't be with you for the rest of your lives but you will be loved." I kiss both of their heads and look up at Aemond, "I'm ready,"
I smile up at him sadly as I watch the tears fall from his own eyes. He kisses me, our tears mixing as they fall to the ground together.
"Nyra please take them, I can't have them here as I do this," he sobs out.
Nyra kisses my own forehead just before she leaves, tears in her own eyes as she carries our children away.
"I need you to-to know there are letters I wrote to them. In this world we now live in we have to be prepared for anything." I laugh, "so I have them under our bed and I want you to give it to them when they are older,"
"I will. I love you so much Y/n," Aemond says as he kisses me once more. He brings out his own pistol and places it against my forehead.
"I love you, I'll never stop loving you," he sobs out.
I take a deep breath in.
******
Aemond stayed there in the garden, cradling Y/n's head in his lap. Screaming out at the world. He walks back towards the cabin. Face stoic as he enters. Tears are had as his children are held by both Helaena and Cregan. Alicent runs up to her son and pulls him in close. He lets his walls down and cries into her shoulder.
The Stark/Targaryen/Velaryon clan close into a huddle as they all mourn their family member Y/n Stark. A strong woman who in the face of an apocalypse saved those she could and avenged those she couldn't. She was a leader and a lover, someone who would have been a great mother to her two dear children. She will be missed but never forgotten. For now though, the family had two new members to look after and care for.
*******
“Papa! Mama left these for us, we found them while we were playing!” A grown 6 years of age Visenya says while running up to Aemond, holding a journal. Her twin Luke is not far behind. Both children share the dark hair color and eye color of their Stark mother while they have the sharp features of their Targaryen father.
“Is that so? Well then, why don't I read it to you while you go to sleep?”  Aemond says as he picks up his children and guides them to their beds, “Everyone in bed and ready for a story?”
The twins shake their heads vigorously. Aemond goes to take a seat on  Luke's bed.
"To my future children, I'm your mother, a member of the great house Stark. I want to tell you all the things about my life in Winterfell and the life I have lived with your father. I'm sorry if the reason you are reading this means I'm no longer with you," Aemond chokes up on that line, Visenya, and Luke cuddles up to their father "but you must know that I love you very much. Now let me begin from when I first met your father,"

… are meant to be broken - m. Estapa (4)
Tumblr media
details and warnings - grace hughes x mark estapa, brothers best friend, angst?, fighting
master list
a/n: so this is the last part for now, I'll be doing insta edits and blurbs for it for now unless I have a big idea for another chapter. Thanks so much for reading this, it was the first full fic I've ever attempted and finished so it's kinda bittersweet. love yall <3
School had ended in a fast blur and the beginning of summer buzz, between worlds, Jack’s birthday trip, and going from house to house Mark and Grace, had barely any time to talk because he had his own stuff going on. the two were still top secret the only people that officially knew were Eddy and Beck. Luckily it was Graces turn to have people at the lake house, and thank god Luke had already asked Mark to come so she would not seem suspicious at all. Sure Luke didn’t seem to know but there had been too many close calls to do anything too risky. She was going to tell him soon it was killing her but she just could not find a good time. With the last couple months of school, there was big 10, frozen four, and worlds, she knew telling him then could throw team stuff off. Now it’s the middle of summer and hockey stuff will be starting soon again which means if she does not tell him soon she will be in an awkward place again. The rule seems to make some sense now. Grace never realized that stuff like this made her so upset, sure she loved hockey just as much as the rest of her family and it never occurred to her that her life was based around her brothers but the past year or two it’s finally been hitting her.
______________________________________________________________
The house was packed and she did not feel any better about this whole thing. She thought it would be the same as it was at school but Grace and Mark still barely saw each other or spoke. Not only was being in one house with her brothers difficult she had like 2x more nosey hockey guys all over. If anything they were talking less than when they were apart. It was hard to find places and times where it could just be the two and no one else, especially when they have a house full of nosy-ass friends. The only time they had really been alone was when everybody was asleep and both of them would sneak out to the dock and just sit and talk. It slowly became one of her favorite things.
Tonight the two of them would not be able to meet up because someone *cough* Brendan *cough* said everyone should camp outside and pull an all-nighter. Grace had texted Mark to meet her in the kitchen, she would say she was going to go inside just for a bit and Mark would then go “get more marshmallows.”
“Hey guys I’m gonna go inside just for a bit I’ll be back out,” she says while grabbing one of the bags of marshmallows to hide.
“Lame, we’re supposed to stay out here all night,” Brendan said mad she wasn't following his activity.
______________________________________________________________
Sitting on the counter she waits for Mark to come in, she hears the door open and in walks Mark.
“Hey, you took those with you so we wouldn’t be suspicious not to steal the whole bag,” Mark refers to the bag of marshmallows she had stolen and was now eating.
“Well, I'm so sorry that you took so long and I got bored,” she joked back, tossing him a marshmallow. she hops off the counter jumping into a hug with Mark.
“I missed you,” she says looking up at him.
“I missed you too love,” Mark says before bending down to kiss her.
“What the fuck.” the pair both jump apart to find Luke standing at the door that they did not hear open. Shit.
“Luke I-” she tries to say something but it feels like the words are catching in her throat.
“No, what the hell is wrong with both of you, he’s my friend?” seemingly everyone had heard the yelling and came to watch. Jack and Quinn both bust through the group.
“What's going on in here?!” they both ask.
“I come in here to see what is taking so long and these two are making out in our kitchen, she's making out with my teammate.” Luke says gesturing toward her. Why was he blaming only me? “You know you’re not supposed to do that.” she can feel either anxiety or anger building, which? she can’t tell.
“Hey, I'm just as much to blame, maybe more even so ease up okay?” Mark says in the girls defense.
“Oh I’m going to get to you but grace why? Why my friend? Why my TEAMMATE?” she sits there still not able to say anything
“Luke we can talk about this when you're calm” Jack says in your defense.”
"yeah once you cool down too bud, you are freaking her out” Quinn chimes in.
“No, I wanna know.” she feels like she was about to blow up. Luke is just staring at her now waiting for her to say something and she does.
“Maybe because everything doesn’t revolve around you and hockey.” she was shocked by her own words but it felt like word vomit and she just keep going. “What?”
“My whole life I’ve shared stuff with you, literally the day we were born but you always seem to get priority, so maybe just one time I wanted my own thing, or at least we were “sharing” something on my terms. Sure he’s your teammate but he liked me, he wasn’t just into me to get to one of you, so sue me for liking him back and not just following you and your rules my whole life Luke.” she lets out, the whole room is silent and she takes that as a cue to run out the door.
“I-” Luke was now the one with no words.
“She is right, yknow.” Quinn breaks the silence. “I mean how would you feel if she told you who you can and can’t date, plus she's right you were just blaming her when your teammate decided to date your sister, but even if he is a friend Mark is a good dude he’s better than some rando that we don’t know.” Everyone turns to Mark forgetting he was still there.
“Luke I tried to not like her I really did but when she told me she felt the same way it would have hurt her more to say no than to follow the rule, It would have caused a lot more of a mess.”
“You’re right, shit I’ll go find her.”
______________________________________________________________
Grace was sitting at the end of the dock just staring out at the water like she did most nights just this time with bloodshot eyes and tear-stained cheeks. She heard footsteps walking up the dock who she assumed was Luke's.
“Come to yell at me some more?”
“I came to apologize but if you want me to I guess I can yell the apology.” she giggles at Luke's response.
“But I’m serious I overreacted and your right it’s not my decision who you are with, I honestly feel like a shitty brother for not noticing earlier cause looking back you both were not hiding that well”
“So your not mad anymore?”
“No I’m still weirded out and a little mad you did not tell me but I’ll live as long as you guys don’t like make out in front of me”
______________________________________________________________
Luke and Grace both head inside back into the house where everyone was waiting.
“You two good again?” Jack asks gesturing towards the two of them.
“Yep.” she replies
“And you two good?” she now gestured to Luke and Mark.
“I think so,” Mark asks looking to Luke to make sure they are on the same page.
“All good, you guys are good for each other.”
“Finally I don’t have to hide this anymore,” Ethan speaks up
“YOU KNEW THIS WHOLE TIME???!!!” multiple of the guys directed at Ethan.

Tumblr media
We arrive at Forum Solius. I am uncertain how much ceruleum we're going to find in a park, but may as well give it a look.
Tumblr media
Jullus is having a hard time. He used to take his little siblings here to play in the heated pond. The way he speaks about his family, I suspect they may be deceased.
Alphinaud realizes that if the pond was heated it must have had a power source, and in Garlemald that likely means Ceruleum! Unfortunately, while Jullus remembers workers using a hatch beneath the water, the pond is now frigid and filthy.
Tumblr media
Fortunately, Jullus is okay with us using magic, so we can warm ourselves back up after our little expedition.
Jullus thinks we might be a bit crazy.
Tumblr media
...I have an idea.
Tumblr media
Awe, come on Alisaie, you know I was joking.
Tumblr media
I find the tank, but at what cost?!
Tumblr media
Jullus tells us about his life growing up in Garlemald. It was defined by a sense of security, safety, and love. It's clear he's deeply mourning everything he's lost, and is only barely holding it together with the desperate hope that their allies will arrive and help them bring some semblance of normalcy back.
Tumblr media
I see you quest name. I know you finish that phrase with "Goes Unpunished." I dread what you will bring me.
Tumblr media
While scavenging wrecked warmachina for more ceruleum (we find some! Yay!) I encounter the disembodied voice of Thancred. He informs me that a few scouts had subtly followed us to outside the station, and that there was both new news and a plan, and for the time being to go along with what the Garleans tell us to do. I, in turn, inform him of everything that has transpired.
Tumblr media
Back at Tertium, Quintus orders that our scavenged ceruleum be used to refuel the armor as opposed to heating the base, much to Jullus and his fellow soldier's dismay. (And mine. Goddamn, you warmongering idiot) We are ordered to wait while this is done.
Tumblr media
When Jullus returns he is visibly distressed. He has some new orders for us.
When Alisaie moves to fight back - and Jullus is, albeit reluctantly, about to activate the collars - I remember Thancred's words to me, and advise them to cooperate.
I am to accompany Jullus back to Camp Broken Glass where we will have this... "negotiation."
Tumblr media
On our way back, we pass in front of a burnt-out building that used to be Jullus' home. His family were tempered, and when he retuned home to aid them they attacked, and he was forced to fight them off. It's a horrible tragedy. A single example of what I am sure every Garlean yet alive and free here has a version of.
Tumblr media
Your country is not your people. And yet. I am reminded of Emet-Selch, the ancients, and Amaurot. That the same struggle would be reflected as the empire he built to fail dies... I wonder what he would think of this? Probably be offended I'd thought to compare his people's plight to that of those he considered malformed shards of proper beings. I cannot think he would be distressed to see how Garlemald is ending, even if I know he'd abhor the purpose its end is being put to. The Final Days, of all things.
Tumblr media
My god? No, She would not have saved you. For Her own reasons, She can't or won't save the lives of even Her own champions. Do not turn to my god: you will find no sanctuary here.
Tumblr media
Alisaie and Alphinaud are slowly freezing to death in a storeroom somewhere. They are getting philosophical, and it seems I wasn't the only one to notice the similarities between Quintus' rhetoric and Varis' speech at Ghimlyt.
Tumblr media
Yes. Yes. That is it.
The twins are discussing how similar the rhetoric spewed by both the Imperial fascists and the Sharlayan conservatives is. And in so many words, how both groups came to think that way, and how they disagree with it.
Tumblr media
Aha! Estinien to the rescue!
Tumblr media
With Alphinaud and Alisaie secured, my friends are safe to reject the Ist legion's terms, and proffer their own. We have information that we believe will be of interest to Quintus, and we want to deliver it in person.
Tumblr media
Perhaps "safe" was the wrong word: Quintus' backup orders were to attack us outright.
Tumblr media
But oh! The news that Lucia has to share is that the dearly awaited reinforcements, the Xth legion among them, have arrived in Ala Mhigo to plea for aid. Their conscripts have deserted entirely and their communication lines have broken down. What remains is in dire straits indeed, and have turned to the Grand Company of Eorzea for help. To prove our words true, we have been provided a passcode to give to Quintus, which we do.
Tumblr media
Quintus agrees to honor the Xth's decision, and proceeds to release his men from their duty.
Tumblr media
Alone now, he speaks to the late Emperor Varis.
Then he draws his gun.
Tumblr media
...I think I will leave this post off here.

Sunflower On the Battlefield (Erwin Smith x Reader)
Word count: 4 290
Disclaimer: english is not my first language, I apologize in advance for any mistakes
Summary: Even before Erwin Smith became the Commander of the Survey corps, he was somehow afraid to fall in love and confess his feelings. But as we all know, love works in mysterious ways and sometimes even the smallest actions can direct our lives in new directions. All it took for Erwin, was to receive a small gift in a form of a sunflower.
Tumblr media
Sunflower On the Battlefield
The morning air was unusually cold, even though winter was still far away. But it has always been your favorite part of the year. The foggy mornings, cozy afternoons, and cold nights. All the time spent under a fuzzy blanket with a good book, a cup of hot tea, and fire cracking peacefully in the fireplace.
Your whole life revolved around your family's little farm. You were born behind Wall Maria, not that far from Trost District, where your father originally came from. But one day he decided to leave the crowded city life and start living his dream in the middle of nature. In between smaller hills, near the forest, and just a short walk from the river. He always dreamed about breeding, and selling horses, but never thought about having an official contract with the Survey Corps.
Their horses needed to be bred very specially to allow them to outrun Titans during outside-the-wall expeditions. All of them were capable of running for long distances and weren't easily frightened by Titans. They had all the best qualities and cost a fortune. Well... for ordinary people, of course. The military was always capable of paying for everything they needed. And they paid well, so all the troubles with breeding were worth it.
At least that's what your father used to say.
„When are they supposed to arrive?“ you asked while brushing your favorite horse – a majestic white mare named Lora. It was love at first sight between the two of you because you were the one who helped her into this world. With almost zero experience but a strong will to help her survive and thrive.
„Don't know, maybe in an hour.“
„And how many of them? You haven't told me anything, which is really unlike you. You usually don't have secrets, not from me.“
„I don't have secrets, they just haven't told me anything this time.“
„But why?“ you demanded an answer.
„Can you stop?“ he murmured angrily. „I told you everything I know. Are you in a hurry or something?“
„No, but I don't want to spend the whole day just standing around and waiting for the Commander and his men.“
„You never know, maybe your sister will come with them.“
„No, I don't think so. She would let us know, she always does that.“
A short letter from the Survey Corps arrived three days ago. They asked your father for six new horses and today was the day they were supposed to come and choose their new four-legged comrades.
It was always a big thing for your father, but not as much for you. Just another regular day with a lot of fuss and unwanted attention.
„She seemed a little down the last time she came around here.“
„I mean... she lost her best friend just a couple of days earlier. They were inseparable since childhood, it had to be a massive shock.“ Losing a friend is hard enough, even without seeing her being eaten by a bloody Titan. „I doubt it gets easier,“ you murmured quietly.
„Of course it doesn′t, not for people like her. Or like you.“
„That′s the reason why I never joined their ranks.“
„And I′m glad.“ You shortly nodded at his firm tone and turned your attention back to the horse.
Of course he was glad. It was a miracle he let your sister go to the academy and join the military. You were never that lucky. But maybe it was for the best. Killing Titans was for the brave and strong, not for pathetic weaklings. A quiet life on your farm was a much better option.
The Survey Corps arrived within an hour. Your father was thrilled and welcomed the small group in green capes with a huge smile on his face. You stayed back, sat on the porch, and cuddled the tiny white punny you got just a few days ago. Snow Ball, as you named it, was a gift from the neighbors. They coulnd′t possibly imagine taking care of more dogs so the smallest and probably the fluffiest one of them ended up in your care.
The only thing that caught your attention was a tall blonde-haired, and blue-eyed soldier. Squad leader Erwin Smith, who smiled at you just as warmly as ever. The two of you got to know each other a few years back and became pretty good friends. Your mutual love for animals, especially horses, brought you closer with every exchanged letter.
But when it came down to talking in person, both of you were quite shy and... well, not the biggest social butterflies. You always exchanged just a few words before nerves got the best of you and you just smiled at each other like love-struck fools.
Except for the fact that you and Erwin were not in love.
„Hey, it′s nice to see you again.“
„Erwin, hey, how are you? You never answered my last letter.“
„Yeah, I know... sorry,“ he muttered and ran his right hand through his hair. Always perfectly combed back and styled with a lot of care. It gave him a really neat and clean look. „I meant to do that during our last expedition when things got a little quieter during the evening. But...“
„Let me guess, Titans got in the way?“
„Kinda... yeah... you know how it is out there.“
„Not really, I've never been outside Wall Maria. All I know is mostly from the stories you or my sister tell me.“
And that had to be enough.
Once, many years ago, you dreamed about going to the academy and becoming a part of the Survey Corps. But that was only a foolish, childish dream. At least for you – your older sister did just what she always dreamed of. She trained hard and when the right time came, she joined her heroes and became a hero herself.
„But I guess it got pretty rough. You never forget to write me back. I got a little worried, that something bad may have happened.“
He shrugged and with a soft smile came a few steps closer. „New puppy?“
„Named him Snow Ball.“ Erwin smiled a bit more brightly, bowed down, and patted the tiny creature in your lap on its fluffy head. „Got him from the neighbors just a few days back. He′s still pretty tiny and needs a ton of love.“
„So you got your hands pretty full these days.“
„Yeah, you could say that.“ Behind his back, your father was talking to Commander Keith Shadis, his good old friend from the days they both lived behind Wall Rose. They were childhood friends and former neighbors. Three other cadets, whom you have never seen before, were waiting by their horses. „And how was your latest expedition? Learned anything new?“
„No, not really. We just... you know... lost a lot of good people, but didn′t really move forward. Not in a way we hoped to.“
With a slow nod you looked to the ground, your heart rate slowly rising. Your nerves were on the edge – again. This man... vise, strong and brave could drive you crazy just by looking in your direction.
And it was never certain why. You were pretty certain that it had nothing to do with falling in love with him. But still... when talking to the tall and handsome Erwin Smith, you felt something special in your whole body. A really comforting and warm feeling.
„I′m sure your next journey will bring more success. It has to, right? Nobody′s got bad luck forever. You all are the hope of mankind, never forget that. “
„Please, never say those words again. I′m tired of hearing them over and over again. Especially after every failed expedition.“ He gritted his teeth and turned his face away. His words were almost colder that the still-blowing wind. „The people always welcome us with such high hopes, but all we really do is...“ You waited a few seconds, but it was quickly clear that Erwin didn′t even want to finish his sentence. He just shook his head, patted Snow Ball on its head one last time, and then stood up again.
„Don′t be so hard on yourself. I know you, Erwin. There is nobody who wants to succeed as much as you.“ You stood up, put the puppy down, and grabbed Erwin's hand. „Come with me, I want to show you something.“
„We′ll be leaving soon...“
„It′s just around the house, “you assured him and led the way down the stairs from the small porch. The farmhouse was small but cozy and warm. Most of the lot was reserved for growing different types of vegetables and fruits, the rest being left for the animals. Chickens, ducks, pigs, and horses in two big stables. „Remember what I was talking about in my last letter?“
„It was five pages long.“
You laughed and squeezed his hand a bit tighter. As if you were afraid he might run away if he got the slightest chance. „My letters are always long, you should have gotten used to it, soldier.“
„I got used to it. That wasn′t a reproach, just a little reminder.“
„You don′t have to remind me. I know exactly what I wrote about... every single thing, even the slightest detail.“ He smiled teasingly as his thumb brushed across your knuckles. „Erwin...“ you breathed out heavily and almost tripped.
God dammit!
„Careful!“ he blurted out and steadied you again. You risked a quick look at his face – it was hard to tell which one of you blushed harder. „Sorry, I′m...“
„I′ve always been extremely clumsy, one of the main reasons why I never joined your ranks,“ you laughed it off with a still wildly pounding heart. „Anyways... I was telling you how my sunflowers were doing. I chose different seeds this year, those from last summer weren′t the best.“
„Oh... yeah, the sunflowers.“
You rolled your eyes. „You didn′t pay attention to that part of my letter, did you?“
„Growing flowers isn′t exactly my cup of tea.“
„And killing Titans isn′t mine, but I always carefully read everything you write me. You should focus more next time.“
You almost jumped from surprise when he freed his hand from your grip, folded his left arm behind his back, and brought his right fist up to his heart. „As you wish, my lady! I promise to do better next time. Every little detail will be holy to me, no matter what topic it will talk about. I am gonna cherish your every word and even dream about everything you so kindly shared with an unworthy peasant like me.“
„Oh... I′m flattered, future Commander Erwin Smith,“ you answered with a cocky voice and fanned your face with your hand. „And don′t look so surprised, we both know that it′s just a matter of time. You deserve to be Commander, no one is better suited for that position.“
„What if I don′t want it?“ he asked with a sharp voice.
You shook your head in pure shock. His icy blue eyes were steadily fixed on your face – as if he was studying every little freckle around your nose. „Why wouldn′t you? We've talked about it, you seemed like you can′t wait for that day.“
Erwin Smith wasn′t an open book – not to you, at least. You both had secrets, innocent white lies, and topics darker that the night sky. Just like everybody else. But despite that, you had a feeling, at least most of the time, that you knew him pretty well. But then came times like these, when he distanced himself in a blink of an eye and made you question everything.
„Maybe we should leave it be, the day is too pretty to be ruined with stupid babbles,“ you said calmly and grabbed his hand again.
Erwin didn′t say a word for the rest of the way. You led him to the back of the house, where your vegetable garden was thriving more and more every day. But the thing you wanted to show him was beautifully growing just alongside the white fence. Big-headed sunflowers almost as tall as yourself. They were rich in multiple colors – yellows, oranges, and even blood reds.
„Soooo...“ you teased Erwin and nudged his arm with your elbow playfully. „Aren′t they beautiful? I never imagined them growing this tall, it′s unbelievable.“ Every word you said was filled with pride and pure happiness. For someone like Eriwn, this could be a useless little detail, but for you, it was the biggest accomplishment of the year. After last year, when your favorite flowers didn't bloom even once, you were determined to fill the garden with the most beautiful sunflowers this world has ever seen. „What do you think?“
Erwin smiled softly and stepped closer. „How did you do that? I′ve never seen such beautiful sunflowers.“
„Natural talent, tons of prayers, and maybe a dash of black magic.“ You winked playfully as Erwin reached out and carefully caressed a few bright yellow petals.
„Tell me more about your dash of black magic.“
„Hmmm, interesting,“ you whispered in an ominous voice. „The one and only Erwin Smith is interested in sorcery and occultism? What would your Commander and the other Scouts say?“ You waited for his response, but all of his attention was focused on the flowers. Just for a short couple of seconds, but he completely transformed right before your eyes. The corners of his mouth curled slightly upwards, his eyes softened and his whole posture relaxed.
As if the weight of the whole world just lifted from his broad shoulders.
„You can take some of them back with you. They′ll make a nice decoration wherever you put them,“ you offered and reached for one of them as well. „Well... if you′d like,“ you added quietly.
Erwin reached behind his belt and pulled out a small pocket knife. With one swift move, he cut the sun-like flower. „I′ll take this one, the rest is better off here.“
„They won′t stay like this for much longer.“
„Which is a shame, just imagine them against the snow-covered nature all around.“
„What if we...“
„Erwin!“ Both of you froze when Commander Shadis called his name. You slightly turned your head and saw the Commander, your father, and the other Scouts carefully watching the two of you. „Come on, let′s get the horses and head back. You two can finish your date some other time.“
Heat rose to your cheeks as you turned your head away and bit your lower lip. One of the Scouts chuckled as Erwin put his knife away and extended his hand towards you. Carefully, not to hurt you in any way, he tugged a strand of hair behind your ear and smiled down at the sunflower in his other hand.
„Thank you.“
„You don′t have to thank me, it′s just a flower.“
Erwin smiled softly, stroked your cheek, and withdrew his hand. You almost reached for it just to stop him. „I didn′t mean the flower.“ With this, he smiled once more, turned around, and started walking toward the Commander. „The next few days will be busy, but I′ll try to write you something. At least a couple of words, just to keep the conversation going.“
„I′d really like that.“
Your heart was pounding the entire time you watched them pick out their new horses – two chestnut mares, one black, and three white stallions – and eventually leave your farm behind.
„I would be glad if he asked for your hand in marriage,“ said your father from behind your back. His hands were full of money he just got from Commander Shadis. It looked like he won′t have to worry about money for some time. „Erwin is a good guy, brave soldier, fearless leader, and maybe a future Commander. Being his wife would suit you.“ He smiled and came to stand next to you.
„We are just friends,“ you reminded him immediately and wrapped your arms around your torso. The wind was picking up as if a storm was coming somewhere from the distance. „I don′t think he would want to marry me.“
„Well... I saw what I saw, dear daughter. Once, a long time ago, I was young and lovestruck too. I know how that feels and looks.“
„Good for you, I guess,“ you muttered, turned on your heel, and went inside the warm house.
Your own feelings and thoughts were confusing you. What was today about? Did he act like that on purpose? Was there... was there really a chance he liked you more than just a friend? Did you want to become something more than friends?
Erwin had a bright and successful future ahead of him. You were sure of it. And in that case... were you really the right woman to stand by his side? Could you imagine yourself as the next Commander's wife?
Similar thoughts and questions of uncertainty hauted your mind for the next couple of days. It was a great deal to hide them from your father, who always kept a close eye on you. That's why he immediately noticed the change in your mood when a letter from the Survey Corps HQ arrived. You didn't dear to open it in his presence, so you hid the letter away and waited until nightfall when you were alone in your room, just your puppy keeping you company.
My dearest,
I′m guilty, I know that. More than a week went by and I haven′t sent a word. Please, take my deepest and most sincere apology. My duties kept me busy day and night, I can′t remember the last time I had a decent sleep. But don′t take my rumblings as some sort of weak excuse, I should have found time to write. Well... actually answer your last letter, since I still haven′t done that. Wish there was more to say, something positive or exciting. The only good news I have is that your sunflower is still going strong – looking just as beautiful as the day I brought it back from your garden. I have it on my desk in the office, it keeps me company while I work.
That′s about it, I really don′t have much to say. But what about you? Had Snow Ball grown already? I bet he will be chasing the other animals around pretty soon. Make sure to let me know, I would like to see him running around. I hope you are enjoying the last few warm days, fall is approaching quickly. You will have your favorite season in a blink of an eye.
Let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your father. I think I can make some time to come by your house for a quick visit. Maybe admire your beautiful sunflowers for the last time this season.
Take care and don′t forget to show the world your smile every chance you get. I make sure to write soon.
Yours sincerely,
Erwin Smith
„You heard that? He keeps my sunflower on his desk,“ you said to the puppy with a bright smile and closed your eyes for a second trying to envision the scene.
Erwin sitting at his desk, soft light spilling in from the outside and one of your sunflowers in a simple vase somewhere on the edge of the wooden desk. You could see him buried under tons of papers – battle strategies, some sort of official records, and stuff like that.
Imagining him lifting his head just slightly to look at the flower he took from your garden...
„No, I′m not falling in love with him!“ you said almost immediately and put the letter down. „He also asked about you, so if he shows up sometime soon, it will be because of that. Who wouldn′t want to see a cute puppy like you?“ Snow Ball playfully stuck out its tongue and turned its fluffy head to the right.
You were almost always a loner who never had many friends. Even in school, you sat by yourself most of the time. Your friends... they′ve never been that kind of friends. You never had the feeling you could trust them so you simply kept to yourself. When it came down to having company your sister was always there. Being your best friend and partner in crime, the two of you did everything together and always had each other's back.
Erwin Smith was the closest thing to a real friend you've ever had. You met through your sister when she came to visit. Erwin came along because he lost some kind of stupid bet to her. His punishment was to stay one morning and help you and your father with all the work around the farm. It was a stupid idea, but he completed his tasks with grace and total calmness. Almost as if he was enjoying it.
As you were about to read Erwin's letter again a small knock came from the direction of your window. Your first thought was that you just imagined it. But then the sound repeated itself. With an uneasy feeling you got up from your bed and walked over to the window. The light from a small lantern illuminated the face of the person knocking.
„Erwin?“ you whispered in disbelief, opening the window right away. „What are you doing here?“
„I couldn't sleep,“ he replied from his horse's saddle and put the lantern down on the window sill.
„That's why you came all the way here? Won't you get in trouble?“ he shook his head and reached for your hand, gripping it gently and bringing your knuckles to his lips.
„Did you read my letter?“ You nodded just a little out of breath. He asked even braver than the last time and it took you by surprise. „I rewrote it several times, but still didn't manage to get everything off of my chest.“
A shy smile made its way to your lips as you squeezed his warm hand. „Wanna try again now?“
„We are preparing for another expedition later next week. But until then... I, ehm... I wanted to know if you'd like to go someplace with me?“ he asked almost too quietly. It was funny and sweet and the same time. Man as strong and brave as Erwin was confused by his own feelings just as much as you. „I wanted to ask you last time, but I chickened out at the last moment.“
You laughed slightly, brushing your fingertips along his cheeks lovingly. Getting lost in his blue eyes was so easy, you didn't even have to try. „I would really much like that, Erwin,“ you answered directly, biting your lower lip in an attempt to push back a smile that nevertheless made its way onto your lips.
„Can you believe I was more nervous to ask this question than face a horde of Titans?“
Both of you busted out in laughter, you suddenly scared that your father may hear and find your not-so-secret admirer right under your window. „In that case, I'm even more flattered.“
Loving a member of the Survey Corps wasn't easy.
No... loving them was easy.
Losing them was the hard part.
Getting the news that they didn't make it back from an expedition. That their body was eaten or torn apart by the monsters that controlled your world. That was the hard part. Living in constant fear of losing them because of the path they had chosen.
You constantly worried about your sister while she was chasing her dreams and living her best life. She was happy and would never trade her post for anything. And Erwin was the same. He saw purpose in the things he was doing. Even through hard times and failures. He always moved forward, closer to fulfilling his dreams.
„I should head back,“ he said in a quiet voice and looked over his shoulder. „Better before your dad catches us here.“
„He wouldn’t mind much, you're his hero. He adores you.“
Erwin reised hie eybrows in desbelieve. „Really?“ You nodded, surprised about his sincere reaction. His eyes lit up and a satisfying expression settled on his face. „That’s gonna make many things much easier.“
„What things?“ you asked as he reached for your chin and brought your face closer to his.
„Would it be okay if I kissed you now?“ His voice sounded so sweet and dreamy, despite his obvious nervousness.
Leaning closer you closed the space between the two of you before giving him an answer. His lips were just like you expected – perfect in every way. Kissing him felt so natural, just like breathing. Even more when his fingers got tangled in your hair as he put his hand on the back of your head and pulled you closer.
Your whole body felt like it was on fire. Emotions rushed through your veins, as your eyes fluttered open for a second to make sure he was still there. He was. It wasn’t just a dream. The hungry and loving pressure from his lips against yours felt so right.
Was this the moment you were waiting for your whole life? It really felt like it.
All worries melted away instantly, love was the only emotion that settled itself in your heart. No... it was already there for a couple of months. You truly fell in love with him in early spring but never dared to admit it. Not to him and not to yourself either.
But all of that was thankfully over.
You were no longer afraid to love the man who was seen as humanity’s biggest hope.

Chapter Five pt3
Okoye went to the doctor; making sure she had no fractures, or broken bones. Everything checked out, it was just a sprain. She was told to wear a sling for a week, and give the arm a rest. She was still thinking about her encounter with the seaman. She wished she had asked his name, since they had a moment of intimacy. She blushed, and laughed at the idea. She heard one of the hover crafts landing just outside her home; she went out to investigate. It was Ayo and Aneka coming to call. Oh damn, she thought. She had forgot she invited them over for some catch up.
“Ladies,” she came out to greet them. They did a big group hug. “It had completely slipped my mind you were coming today.”
“That’s not like you,” Ayo said. “What happened to your arm?” She notices her arm in the sling.
“Let me prepare us some food, but a drink first,” she said. “Wait until I tell you what the last two days has been like.”
“Oh, seems like someone found someone?” Aneka joked. Okoye laughed.
“Is that true?” Ayo asked.
“Let’s get that drink, and I will tell you about it,” she told them, and the three went inside for the full disclosure.
Namor had put on his best diplomatic attire, to impress Queen Shuri. He wanted to make a good impression. This will be his first time seeing her; since her officially, becoming the new Queen of Wakanda. He still had high hopes, they could get back to where they were; before the tragic death of her mother, and the attack on Wakanda.
Yeah, he knows he killed the former Queen, her mother. But all is fair in love and war, right? The kings’ guards and the Dora Milaje met him as he came ashore. His flying days are on temporarily restriction; since Shuri, the Black Panther, stripped them. But he’s not angry, he deserved worst.
The Palace was alerted of his arrival, and his request to see the Queen. They were told to escort him in; Namor felt optimistic, if she was willing to see him. After all, she did spare him. He was led into the throne room, the doors closed behind him. The throne stood was empty, she wasn’t there yet. Then someone entered the room from another door. Namor’s eyes grew large at the entrance.
“Namor, how nice of you to finally come visit. Is it to talk about the alliance; and what it means for our nations?” Namor was speechless; as M'Baku took his place on the throne.
Attuma sought out Namora, seeing if she knew anything about Namor’s meeting with Queen Shuri. He found her in their Capitol; speaking to a group of warriors, and giving them instructions. She saw him swimming their way, and was curious; since he had been hardly interacting with her, as he had once. She dismissed the warriors, and swam towards him.
“Looking for me, or just here on official business?” She asked.
“Maybe both,” he told her. “First, to see you, and apologize for the mood I have been in lately. I have been trying to see things from the Wakandan point of view. I know, if it had been Talokan attacked, and nearly destroyed, and our K’uk’ulkan killed in the process; I would go on a murderous rage. But they didn’t; and our people live on in this peaceful harmony, while the Wakandans are rebuilding, and readjusting to so many changes.”
“When you explain it that way,” she said, looking around, and seeing how unaffected their people were by the battle with the Wakandans. “We were exempt; and we should be grateful, the Black Panther showed mercy.”
“The other thing,” he added. “Have you heard anything from K'uk'ulkan, and his meeting with Queen Shuri?”
“Not one word as yet, and I am sure he just arrived there,” she told him. “They may be starting the negotiating.”
“Maybe,” he echoed.
“I do not understand,” Namor finally speaking, after the initial shock. “Where is the Queen?”
“The Queen? Remember you killed her,” M'Baku reminded him. Namor shook his head, trying to register what was going on.
“I know that, but the Princess became the Queen,” he told him.
“Oh yeah, how well do I remember you telling Shuri that; after drowning her mother in front of her. Now, what was that you said? Oh yes, bury your dead, mourn your lost, and you are Queen now,” M'Baku repeated Namor’s speech, as far as he could recalled. “And oh, let’s not forget the part when you said; you will be back in seven days, with your entire army. And if Wakanda, did not join you; in waging war on the surface world, you will destroy us. Did I miss anything, fishman?” M’Baku glared at him. He had nothing, but a deep hate for this man; for all he did, to Queen Ramonda, Shuri, and the citizens of Wakanda.
The three ladies made small talked, and drank their red wine; while Okoye prepared them a meal. Aneka was the impatient one, and kept looking at Ayo to ask the question. Ayo kept gesturing for her to not pressure her, and allow her to tell her story as she chooses.
“Alright you two; you know I can see the facial expressions, along with the hand gestures,” she informed them, as she came from the kitchen with a salad bowl.
“Come on Okoye,” Aneka was bursting at the seams, to hear about this possible new person in Okoye's life. Okoye sat down, and made each of them a plate of salad. Then she sat back sipping her wine.
“I have to give you a quick back story of who he is,” she prepared them.
“Wait, you knew him before, and never mentioned him?” Aneka basically interrupting.
“Aneka, let her finish,” Ayo gave her a look, Aneka ignored her. Okoye laughed at these two.
“Yes, Aneka I knew him before,” she confirmed. “But not in a pleasant way.”
“Do not tell us you reconcile with that traitorous ex of yours?” Aneka protested.
“No, you wouldn’t. Would you?” Ayo injected.
“First, we are still married,” she informed them. “And second, that’s a no. We will never be as husband, and wife again.” They could see this was still painful for her.
“So, if it isn’t him, then who?” Aneka asked.
“He is the Talokan warrior I fought on the bridge, and the warship.” She revealed.
“Wait, that big, big; blue guy?” Aneka asked.
“Yes, him,” she said. They all took a sip of wine; thinking about the different aspects of how this could go for Okoye.
“Why are you bringing up things we should move pass?” Namor asked.
“Did you?” M'Baku asked. “Now I was told one of the reasons this came about; Nakia killed two of your people, while rescuing the Princess of our nation. Am I right?”
“Yes, she invaded my kingdom, and kill two of my people,” he validated the claim. “That would never be tolerated.” M'Baku felt his blood boiling; the arrogance, and entitlement of this fool.
“Do you remember the night, you interrupted a scared ritual; my people perform a year after their love one has-been buried?” M'Baku took him back. “That’s what our Queen Ramonda, and our Princess Shuri were doing, after the death, and burial of a son and brother, T’Challa. It is to burn the mourning garments; for them to be able to move on, and live. Allowing the love one to have peace in the Ancestral Plane. But you wouldn’t know much about that, since you had no respect.”
“I do apologize for that, but there were more pressing matters I had to present before the Queen,” M'Baku, restrained himself. Namor didn’t enjoy this traveling back down memory lane. He wanted him to move on to the more pressing matters at hand. So he would understand the boundaries of the alliance.
“You can apologize as long as you live, and I am sure it will probably be another five hundred years or so. And Shuri may have spared you, but make no mistake; there will not be any forgiveness from her, or from me, nor any Wakandan.”
“I do not understand; how you are King, and she is not the Queen,” Namor asked, confused of the turn of events. M'Baku was pleased to explain.
“After she spared your life, and we were back home; she asked me to take on the role as the King of Wakanda. She was dealing with so much pain and loss; she knew she was not ready to lead the people, and be Black Panther also. We came to an agreement.” Namor stood silent for quite some time, digesting what this alliance will mean; now that M'Baku inherited the throne, and Shuri is off to parts unknown. “Are you ready to discuss, where do we go from here?” Namor stared at him, and if looks could kill. But M'Baku didn’t mind, he said what he had to say on the matter. But one thing he needed him to know, Wakanda never forgets.
“Let me begin at the beginning,” Okoye took a sip from her glass, then placed it on the table; and went into deep thought. Her emotions were getting the best of her. “When I lost Shuri on the bridge that night; it set a train reaction of events. Some that impacted us all.” She looked to the two.
“You’re speaking of Queen Ramonda's death; aren’t you?” Ayo inquired. Okoye nodded, and the tears rolled down her cheeks.
“She warned me it was not a good idea; but my arrogance got in the way of my better judgement.” Okoye confessed the truth as she knows it. “Never make that mistake Ayo; being Dora does not mean invincible.” Ayo stared at her, taking in the wisdom of the statement.
“Thank you for saying it, and your support,” Ayo said to her.
“Go on,” Aneka urged.
“Aneka, so impatient,” Ayo scolded. Aneka rolled her eyes. Okoye laughed, but Aneka was right. There are things she needed to express; and who better than with friends.
“As I was saying, a lot was weighing on my mine,” she begins. “When Queen Mother demoted me; I was devastated. Being Dora was all I knew; her death hit hard, because that meeting was the last time we spoke. The next time I saw her, she was face down in a water filled throne room. And as much as I tried; I couldn’t revive her.” By now, all three was feeling the lost; and becoming emotional.
Attuma sat, waiting for Namor’s return; and hoping Queen Shuri will allow Wakandan and Talokanil to interact. Soon Okoye will get this intense longing for him; he needs to be there to calm it down. Without him, she could die.
“He has to convince the Queen, he has too,” Attuma whispered to himself. He paused, a sorrow crept in. She is sad, he thought to himself. Their integration was beginning. “Hurry back, K'uk'ulkan; she needs me.” He begins to pace back and forth, like a caged animal. He made a conscious decision. It didn’t matter; what decree or law in place, either by the Queen or K’uk’ulkan, he will not lose her.
“Now that you have set me straight on the Wakandans feelings for me,” Namor took a seat to discuss the boundaries of the alliance. “There is a matter we both can agree; the interaction of our citizens.” M'Baku frowned.
“And what is it with interaction of our citizens, you have a problem?” He asked him.
“Mating,” he told him. M'Baku eyes constringed.
“Is there any reason; you would think, any of them would want to go that far?” M'Baku has no trust for him. He thought of Namor, as this pompous manipulator; and would not have come, if he knew Shuri was not there, nor was the Queen. Has he not hurt her enough? That he dared to come, and ask for more?
“Well, it is not that it would not be possible,” Namor replied. “Talokanil may live in the sea, but human they are. And it’s physically possible for Wakandans, as well as Talokanil, to find each other attractive. Which could heighten their curiosity; and then lead to experimenting.” M'Baku heard him, but listened more.
“And if they did, would that be something you would want to discourage?” M'Baku asked.
“It could be a tragic relationship; as Wakandans are surface dwellers, and Talokanils are water base,” Namor explained. M'Baku tilted his head to the side, wondering what this clown fish was up too.
“I find it strange you are taking this stance,” M'Baku rose from the throne, and walked over to the very window Namor threw his grenade bombs, killing their Queen. He stared out; looking at the city, and his people going about their business. Then he thought about how Shuri dug deep inside; thinking about what killing this egomaniac would cost those people. “When you kept Shuri from her mother; what was your plans?” He turned to face Namor. Namor looked away, seeing M'Baku was a shrewd leader. This alliance will not be an easy one; nor would any thoughts of a future where he would rule by Shuri.
“So, after I tired of the pain, and guilt of my decision to take Shuri, then losing her. Which set off everything that came afterwards,” Okoye took a sip of wine. “I just wanted to throw caution to the wind. I wanted to be wild for once in my life. So, I mounted Mbandi, and allowed her to run wherever she wanted. I was merely along for the ride. I think she went to a place she frequents; the River tribe banks. She stopped there, as the sun was setting. It was so tranquil. I sat and watch it disappear; and the moon rise and the stars twinkling. Funny how these things have always existed; but we get so caught up in life, we forget to enjoy them.” She grew quiet, and went into deep thought.
Attuma focus, a melancholy sensation washed over him. He closed his eyes, touching his heart; it was heavy with grief and regrets. But those were not his; they belonged to her and what was going through her heart. He should be there with her, and holding her in his arms; kissing her so deeply, she could faint. His body was craving her touch. He needed to sooth the increasing effect of the merge; and of them becoming one, in mind, body, and soul.
“Hold on my Warrior, hold on,” If it means defying K'uk'ulkan, so be it. He will deal with the consequences; just as long as she is a live. Attuma went into the water, swimming through the channel; and making his way down to the depths of the ocean, to Talokan and his home. He will wait there for word of Namor’s return, and the decision of the Queen.
“Plans? The Princess and I were negotiating a peaceful solution,” he told him. “Your Queen messed that up.” M'Baku made a step towards him, but refrained himself.
“Never mention her again to me,” M'Baku was shaking with anger. “Show some respect for a woman; who gave her life to save a child, you didn’t give a damn about killing. You had her daughter, the only living relative she had left. And you dare to fault her, because she sent someone to rescue her. But in the same token, you felt it was alright to attack a city; because two of yours were killed? Now you come to me, with this proclamation; forbidden Wakandans and Talokanils finding love, if they so desire? If that is what you want on your end, I can not stop it. But, if any of either nation do find themselves in that predicament; I will not interfere.” Namor wasn’t to pleased with him saying that.
“I sat for some time taking everything in, enjoying this time. I looked at the river, it was so inviting. It had been a while since I swam. I searched the area and seeing I was a lone, removed my clothing, and walked into the river. It was warm and soothing,” she told them.
“You swam nude?” Aneka asked, then looked at Ayo who was smiling.
“Yes, Aneka and it was enjoyable,” she confirmed. “You should try it; you may like it.”
“Wait a minute,” Aneka just realized something. “When did the big blue guy come in; during this nakedness?” Okoye was confused.
“When did I say--,” she paused as a memory flicker in her mind. “While I was swimming; all the time I had this feeling I was not alone. But I did not see anyone to validate it.”
“Maybe he was hiding somewhere,” Ayo suggested.
“I don’t think so,” she said. “The landscape was pretty much flat land; except for a few rock formations.”
“Could he had hid behind the rocks?” Ayo asked.
“If he was actually there, he could have,” she couldn’t rule out the possibility. “There is something that was quite strange, that occurred and frightened me. This is where I really felt someone was there. While I was swimming, it felt like a large presence was under me; then there was this energy that washed over me, and this loud groan. I lowered my head in the water to see what was there; but saw nothing. I quickly swam to shore, and sought out any movement in the river. But it was still as far as I could see. I stood there in a panic, wondering what it could have been.”
“Groan, like what?” Aneka asked.
“A person when they; you know,” Okoye was too embarrassed to describe it. “You know, when you reach that point--.” Okoye trying her best to be discreet, in describing the sound of a climate.
“Oh,” the two said in unison. Then the two begin to laugh at the possibility, that Okoye may have excited and satisfied, the big blue merman with her naked self. Okoye was solemn, and deep in thought; and wondered. Does that mean; he and her, had some type of sexual experience? She gulped down the rest of her drink.
“I want you to understand something King M'Baku,” Namor approached him; just a few feet away. “I will not tolerate any of my people going against my wishes. And I hope you will never indulge any of them to do so.” M'Baku took those couple of feet; and towered over him.
“The last time we had an encounter; you hit me in the chest, and broke my breastplate, sending me across the water, and into the floating café. I did not forget it; but dare you to try it again.” Namor glared at him; wondering what game he was playing, challenging him.
“Why would I do that?” Namor replied. “That was war; we are allies, so I thought.”
“Only because Shuri wants it for our people; and I agree.” M'Baku informed him.
“Where is she anyway?” Namor dared to ask.
“Somewhere far from here; getting the time she needs to heal, mentally and emotionally.” Namor knew not to press the issue any further.
“I want to make something very clear, Namor,” M’Baku's voice was low and stern; his eyes cold and dark. “I will honor this alliance, because it’s important to Shuri. There is a thing called asylum in the world. We do acknowledge anyone; who wants to come here, from whatever they want to get away from. If any of your people so desire, they are welcome; because that is what Queen Ramonda would have done, and certainly Shuri would do if she were Queen. Now if you want to break the terms of the agreement of the alliance, then so be it. But sneaking an attack on a kingdom, is not the same as meeting the same kingdom head on. Think about your threats, and what is it you have to lose. I will not tolerate my people going through what happened before, and not answer in like manner.” Namor stared into M’Baku's eyes, and saw how much hatred he held for him.
He came into Wakanda one night uninvited, threatening the Queen, and demanded something from her with a threat if she didn’t carry through. He held her daughter from her, then after she sent someone to rescue, killing two of his’. He promised and did attack Wakanda, killing the Queen. What did he expect from this new King? This is going to be a shaky alliance; but for his people he had to do whatever is necessary to keep them safe. Wakandan will keep their part, he would have to his. His constant threats will soon get tiresome; and he has no idea the true power of Wakanda. Is he willing to find out?
Chapter Six
Okoye took a sip of wine, thinking about that sensual groan beneath her; while swimming, and what the energy that flowed through her signified. She recalled exactly what it felt like, its residue had haunted her since it happened, though she tried to deny it. Talking about it made it clear, it was the most stimulating interaction, she has ever had. She smiled, now he had her attention more than ever. Somehow, she had to contact him, and allow him to finish telling her what he tried, when she interrupted him. He was right, she would need him.
She rose from her chair, and walked to a window staring out. Mbandi was grazing not far from the house. The only way she could describe it was; being a part of something or someone, and no longer feeling alone anymore. Maybe better; a part of someone; a part of him? Then another memory of that night surface.
“Wait, there was another thing that was strange,” she came back to her seat. “I thought this part was a dream, but I am not so sure anymore. A song that has stayed in my head, all night. I heard while standing on the banks.”
“Song? What kind of song?” Ayo asked.
“More like a hum,” she said, then she began to hum the tune. As she did, she got into it; closing her eyes, and felt the soothing relaxing affect. She found herself being pulled into a place; she never had been.
Attuma laid in his hammock, trying to stay calm until Namor’s return, and word on if they are still allowed to go into Wakanda. He rested his eyes for the first time in a while. That’s when he felt her just above him, descending towards him. He knew exactly what was occurring. She was humming the siren song, he hummed to relax her from the fright of their vibe.
“Warrior, stop humming,” he warned. She wasn’t listening, as she came closer.
“You?” She said, as if surprised. She looked around, as if absorbing her surroundings. “Is this where you live?”
“Yes, this is Talokan,” he told her.
“This is incredible,” she told him. “Like an underwater Wakanda.” She came to within inches of him; face to face, she smiled. “What did you do to us, General?”
“What I did wasn’t meant to be done,” he told her. “It was an accident; but it is true.”
“I do not understand,” she told him.
“You will, but now you must wake up,” he told her.
“What are you talking about?” She was bewildered. “I am here talking with you, awake.”
“No, you are not” He took her into his arms, and captured her mouth with his own; she was intoxicating, his kiss deepens. He took away her breath; she passed out.
“Okoye,” Ayo shook her, trying to wake her. She finally came too. She laid there in a haze, trying to clear her mind, and focus.
“What happened?” She asked, falling back as she tried to sit up.
“We do not know, Okoye,” Aneka told her. “One minute you were humming, the next you were knocked out. You fell to the floor; we laid you here.”
“You were having a dream I guess,” Ayo told her. “You were speaking in another language, we didn’t understand.” Okoye grew quiet, her mind replaying events of the dream; and her encounter with the Talokanil. He knew she was not actually there; but how could she know, what Talokan look like? She has never been there before.
“It’s ancient Mayan, the language of the Talokan,” she explained.
“When did you learn their language?” Aneka asked.
“After Wakanda was attacked, and he called me out,” she told them. “He was there in my dream.” She looked at both of them. “I found him there in Talokan, and he told me to wake up. I didn’t believe him, it felt so real. He took me in his arms, and kissed me so hard; I passed out, and woke up here.” They looked at her with some concerns.
“Maybe we should take you to the doctor to evaluate you,” Ayo suggested.
“I am fine, I went today, remember, my arm?” She pointed to it.
“How did you hurt that arm, again?” Ayo asked.
“Yesterday I went into the catacombs alone,” she told them.
“Okoye,” Ayo spoke. “What is wrong with you? You know not to ever go there alone. And that’s why you fell?”
“I know, Ayo, I know,” she agreed. “But these days I am lost; I need to find my purpose. Being a Dora was my life’s goal; becoming one was my life. But I am no longer Dora; where do I go from there?” Ayo and Aneka looked at each other.
“I thought we were going on a journey together, Okoye; forming the Midnight Angels.” Aneka injected.
“We are Aneka,” she confirmed. “But being in another military role is no longer enough for me. Having that special one in my life; having a family is what I desire now.”
“You can not have both, Okoye,” Ayo reminded her of the rules.
“Why not, Ayo? The men do; why can’t the women also?” Ayo and Okoye stared each other in the eyes.
“Maybe that is something we need to bring before the King, and the Council?” Aneka suggested. “Right now, I want to hear about the catacombs; and what transpire there.” Okoye looked at Aneka shaking her head.
“I went down and when I say went down; I mean I fell below,” the other two gasped.
“Okoye, that’s why your arm is slanged,” Ayo reminded her of the carelessness of being alone.
“Yes, it’s just sprung,” she assured them.
“And maybe a concussion along with it,” Ayo told her. Okoye smiled, Ayo forever the mother hen.
“Anyway, I was dazed and in excruciating pain,” she told them. “At some point, I realized I wasn’t alone. I was asked if I was alright. I remembered saying my arm may be broke or something like it. I looked and saw the face of the Talokanil warrior staring down upon me. I said, ‘you?’ to him, I think; before passing out.
“You may have hit your head when you fell, and have a concussion.” Ayo reiterated. “With passing out, speaking to some blue guy from the water, and in his language. Thinking you are in a undersea world, while dreaming; thinking you’re actually there.”
“That may be the case, Okoye,” Aneka chimed in. Okoye slowly sat up.
“I fear what is wrong with me; only my blue merman will be able to cure,” she told them. Ayo looked over at Aneka, who shook her head.
“You think he put a spell on her?” Aneka whispered to Ayo.
“I don’t know,” she said. “In our world; stranger things have manifested. One thing may be clear; he has a hold on her.”
Attuma’s eyes shot open, and saw Okoye wasn’t there. He knew she had learned the ability to infiltrate his mind, and see what he sees. That was a concern for him; he needed to be there physically, to help her maneuver in and out. If he had not kissed her, making her disconnect; she could not have been able to return to her mind, and then she would have passed away.
“What is taking so long?” He swam to find Namora, fearing there may be something else to trigger his Warrior’s demise.
“Okoye,” Ayo stared at her. “This is serious, there is something we need to reveal. The song was similar to what Namor’s people used to hypnotized our emergency workers, sending them to their deaths. Yours only subdued us.
“What does this mean?” Okoye looked to them for answers. “I sing like a Talokan, bending the will of others; what has he done to me?”
Attuma swam towards Namora hoping there was news, but from her expression it was a no. He swam to a distance from her; a ball from some who were playing a game flew their way. Attuma punched a hole clear through it. Namora observed his actions, noting every movement; and his demeanor. She suspected what he refuses to disclose; he had integrated with the Wakandan warrior, and failed to inform their ruler.
“Why are you so desperate to get back to looking at the landscape?” She asked. He looked at her.
“Why do you care?” he inquired.
“You know, the truth always comes to light,” she said. “I suggest you be honest with K'uk'ulkan; or you will regret it.” She left him to think about what she said. It didn’t matter to him. All that matter; was getting to her, the Wakandan woman, who has literally stolen his soul.
“I want this alliance as much as anyone,” Namor conveyed to M'Baku. “Together we are stronger.”
“I am glad you feel that way,” M'Baku said. “Wakandans and Talokanils, together in anyway; makes for strength. I heard you said your mother use to tell you about Wakanda.” Namor figured this knowledge had to have come from either, Queen Ramonda or Shuri; maybe both.
“Yes, she did,” he confirmed. “Why?”
“Did it ever occur to you, how miles away; she and your ancestors knew about our kingdom?” He asked him.
“I am not sure, maybe the slavers?” M'Baku shook his head.
“We have lost tribes all over the world,” he informed him. “It is not far fetching your mother’s people were once part of us, and fled during the constant fighting our ancestors were going through.”
“That would make sense,” he said. “How else would she know if it was not true? But I am not sure, what it has to do with my request.” M'Baku laugh, which left Namor bewildered.
“You and your requests,” he continued to laugh. “You requesting, is really demanding; with a hint of intimidation. But to clarify what I meant; sexual relationships between the two nations, would not be out of the question. In fact; we have no idea what kind of people, we could develop from it.”
“Finding out what kind of people could come from Wakanda and Talokan is of no concern of mine,” Namor told him, rejecting the very thought. “I want my people to thrive as they have for the last five hundred years.” M'Baku stared at him; and wonder why he was so against, the possibility of the two kingdoms, bringing into existence, a new generation. One that could survive land as well as water.
“Humor me, Namor,” M'Baku became curious why now, he chose to have this topic of conversation. He knew if Queen Ramonda hadn’t sent Nakia to rescue Shuri, and the young woman, RiRi; he would have taken Shuri as his wife. And it couldn’t be because Shuri rejected him; he’s there now, thinking he could have persuaded her, to reconsider their relationship. If there were any. “What prompted you to want to put this law in place? What is it you are aware of, that I am not? And please do not play with my intelligence.” Namor laughed within; that wouldn’t be hard to do; since he felt M'Baku was about as intelligent as a seaweed. But he digresses.
“It came to my attention, your general and one of mine; may be forming a relationship.” Namor informed him.
“Male or female?” M'Baku queried.
“She fought the same general on the bridge, and your warship,” he answered. M'Baku thought for a moment, then knew.
“Okoye,” he said.
“Okoye?” Namor repeated, registering her name for future reference. M'Baku took notice how he pronounced her name
“Yes, but she is no longer with the Dora Milaje,” he informed him. “She was one of the collateral damages of your actions. Queen Ramonda stripped her of her rank, and out of the Dora for losing Shuri.” Namor stared, saying nothing. “Who is this general of yours?”
“Attuma,” he revealed. “He is like a son, I raised and trained him; after the death of his mother, during his birth.”
“I see,” M'Baku sat on his throne. “And you are certain there is something between the two?”
“I am not certain as of yet; but he has been moody, and seeking to be alone,” he told him. “And he has become fascinated with your kingdom; which I understand. Wakanda is stunning, the culture is like no other; not unlike Talokan. So, I can understand why he is taking in; and would believe his excuse of his visiting, if he was not so temperamental and standoffish.”
“I get you,” M'Baku smile. “He sounds like a man smitten.”
“Or in love,” Namor surmised. M'Baku nodded, that right there is where Namor’s problem lies.
Attuma felt he would go crazy if Namor’s didn’t return soon. So far, he didn’t sense Okoye stressing. The merging of their souls was accidental, true. And he is actually surprised it worked, as she is not Talokanil. He took a chance when he reached out to her that night. The force of their merge was so powerful, it coursed through his body so strong it shocked him. It was pure ecstasy; he knew then they were meant to be. Holding her in his arms looking at her lovely face. All he wants is to be there with her forever; he needed to define what he was feeling. Was it love or infatuation?
“Where are you, Namor?” He was getting restless, never one for patience.
“I wouldn’t worry about these two bonding as yet,” M'Baku said to him. “She is already married, and can’t be with anyone until that bond is broken.” Namor lit up; something useful to slow Attuma down. M'Baku shook his head, actually reading this cold-blooded spawn’s face. How could he get such joy in his people’s displeasure?”
“Married?” He wanted to make sure what M’Baku informed him was accurate.
“Yes, he is exiled, imprisoned for treason,” M'Baku revealed.
“Oh?” Namor was intrigued. M'Baku enjoyed indulging him; giving him this hope of seeing another’s life ruined. Little did he know, his hope will soon be crushed. Okoye has already begun the process of severing her bond with her ex. She will be free to be with whoever she so desired; but then that is something Namor will need to know, once Okoye and his general are together.
“Yes, he was part of a insurrection,” he told him.
“I see,” Namor said. “Not to sound rude, but If we are finish here. I must get back to speak with my general. He needs to know some things moving forward.”
“We are done,” M'Baku told him. Namor nodded his head, then turned and left. M'Baku stared after him until he went through the doors, and out of sight. If it wasn’t for Shuri making the agreement, and the citizens of Talokan; he would lay waste on this narcissus. But as much as he feels for this general; he’d rather have Namor wreaking havoc on his nation, than Wakanda.
“And when I woke up, we were here; and he was standing over me staring. Of course, I recognized him, how could I not?” Okoye told them. “Now this is where it gets strange; when I asked him how we got here. He said Mbandi, brought us.”
“Your Mbandi?” Ayo asked.
“Yes,” she said.
“I thought that thing did not like people?” Aneka injected.
“She does not, but for some reason she loves him,” she told them.
“Loves him? Isn’t that extreme, because she allowed him to help bring you home?” Ayo said.
“Well, why when he headed back to the cave, she ran after him, and offer him a ride back to the cave. It was like she knew; he desperately needed to get back, but would not make it in time, even with his speed.”
“Wow,” Aneka said.
“Something we all are overlooking, “Ayo said.
“What, Ayo?” Okoye was curious.
“If he was running out of whatever is needed for them to survive on land. Would he not know, it was a possibility; he would not make it back in time?” She looked at Aneka, then at Okoye.
“Are you saying, he may have risked his life for me?” Okoye already knew that answer, when she asked.
Attuma sat on his bed, waiting for Namor to return. His mind went to Okoye, wanting to see her again. He could feel the residue of her in his arms, the kiss on her soft lips. A feeling came over him; in his soul, he could sense her thinking about him too. No, she was talking about him; and there was a question.
“Yes, beautiful warrior, I knew it was possible; but for you, it was worth it.” He answered the question he felt in her heart.
Okoye gasped, and begin to tear up for no reason. She didn’t understand how entangled she was with him. Their linkage was growing stronger; his already established, hers just beginning. Ayo and Aneka looked at her, then each other. Confused to why she was getting emotional.
“What is wrong, Okoye?” Ayo came and put her arms around her.
“I am not sure,” she said between sob. “I just suddenly had this overwhelming sentiment wash over me. It was like he was speaking to me. I could not hear it, but more like I perceived it.”
“What?” Aneka asked
“It was like he knew, what was in my heart, and he answered,” she told them.
“What was in your heart you wanted to know?” Ayo asked.
“I wondered did he knew, it was possible he would run out of his breathing supply; when he brought me home?” She told them.
“And you think you felt him answer all the way from Talokan?” Aneka asked being skeptical.
“We fought aliens twice, remember?” Okoye reminded them both. Ayo looked at Aneka, shaking her head.
“What did he say?” Ayo asked, thinking it possible, somehow these two became connected, during the time she was in the water. She also thinks the energy burst, may have been what caused it.
“He said, ‘Yes beautiful warrior, I knew it was possible, but for you, it was worth it'. What is going on?” Okoye started crying again. Ayo looked at Aneka, neither knew how to help her.
Attuma could feel her stressing. It was starting. He couldn’t wait for Namor to return; he had to get to her, and help her through this, only he knew how. He swam up and into the to the open sea; calling his whale Tmay; it would be quicker that way. He was met with resistance; the four warriors who was with Namora, stopped him.
“We can not by orders of Namora allow you to leave. A decree by K'uk'ulkan has a lockdown in place; that includes everyone.
“I am needed somewhere, it’s a life-or-death situation,” he explained.
“Who in Talokan is in a life-or-death situation, Attuma?” Namora joined them.
“I need to go, and no one is going to stop me,” he knew he could out fight all of them put together.
“And me,” Namor came from the direction of Wakanda. “Would you fight me to get where you’re going?” Attuma thought for a moment, which unnerved Namor. His hesitation told him everything. “All of you leave, now. I need to speak with my son alone.” Attuma looked away, ashamed he hesitated his answer; but she needed him, and he had to get to her. He did not make the rules for the vibe, it is what it is. Namora and the others swam away, leaving just the two.
“I am sorry, my father; but I have to go to her,” he was desperately asking for his permission; so he wouldn’t break what was between them. One thing will always be true; Namor loved his people, but protecting them comes at a price.
“The Wakandan warrior?” He asked.
“Yes,” he answered.
“So, you lied to me,” he stated.
“Yes, I did, and I am sorry,” he admitted.
“I am sorry too, but I can not allow you to place the rest of us in harm,” he told him.
“I do not understand,” Attuma says.
“An agreement between the new ruler, and myself, on boundaries; so, no misunderstandings will arise. Talokanils are not welcome in and out of WaKanda; unless with authorization. And the same for Wakandans in Talokan. Therefore, you are prohibited to go see her as you will.”
“You do not understand, K'uk'ulkan,” he was nearly in tears, which alarmed Namor.
“Tell me you did not, Attuma,” Namor felt a dread come over him, expecting the worst, from what  Attuma had to say.
“We did, I vibe us; but she does not know,” Namor, growled out loud, sending a thunderous rumbling. Attuma was subdued. Namor knew the cost, if he did not allow him to go to her. Could he afford to lose his son, who he loved as if he held his blood flowed through his veins. Or protect the kingdom from mingling with the Wakandans. Namor was clear on Wakandans coming, and goings in his kingdom. He made his decision, that was the only one he could make.
“We better take her to the medical unit,” Ayo said to Aneka. Okoye suddenly, became lethargic, and they do not know why.
“Attuma,” she kept saying, repeatedly. “They have him imprisoned.”
“Attuma? Is that his name?” Aneka asked.
“I have no idea,” Ayo said. “Let’s take her now Aneka.”  Ayo lifted her up in her arms, and carried her to the aircraft.
“Please let me out of here K'uk'ulkan,” Attuma pleaded. Namor took a deep breath, staring him in the eyes.
“I had hoped I would not have to tell you this; but you leave me no choice,” Namor says to him. “The other reason you are not allowed, and could cause a incident; Okoye is married. Therefore, you integrating with her; was a foolish gesture, as well as selfish on your part. Did you not inquired, whether she was attached to someone, or not?” Attuma turned away, trying to absorb what was just unveiled.
“Okoye?” He smiled. “That is her name?” He closed his eyes, envisioned holding her in his arms, once again; gazing in her big brown eyes, kissing her enticing full lips, in reality. Knowing he could whisper her name, while loving her, was the best. Namor glared at him.
“Did you not here a word I just said?” His voice was not that usual calm, and deviant tone; he usually exemplifies, whenever he is being manipulative. Attuma slowly turned to face him.
“I do not give a damn, who thinks they are attached to her,” his voice was unhurried, and straight forward on his intent. “The vibe does not make mistakes; on who is chosen to be with each other. You know this to be true, I don’t make the rules. She is my one, and some way and how; I will get to her. With or without the Queen, or your sanction.” Now Attuma is pissing him off.
“Here’s the thing, Attuma,” he spoke calmly, with a hint of precise and unyielding. “The Princess didn’t become the new ruler, she delegated to another; and he is relentless in his rule. I will not chance a nation-to-nation combat; because you have this notion you can defy me, and get away with it. No one does that.” His voice crescendo with every word. “I will not put Talokan in danger, because of your whim. I have spoken”. The tears welled in Attuma's eyes; and for the love of her, he begged.
“Please, K'uk'ulkan,” he pleaded. “Just allow me to go to her, and save her. Then I will return, and never question whatever you ask of me. Let me go, or she will die.”
“One thing is true, Attuma,” he stared him in the eyes; with out any empathy, nor one bit of sympathy. “Sometimes life’s tragedies can be our best lessons. Next time; you will be careful on the things you do. I will not risk Talokan’s tranquillity; not even for you.” He turned, and walked away. Attuma let out a growl, equal to a roaring lion; shaking the surrounding area.
“Namor!” Attuma called. “Namor! I hate you; I hate you!” Namor heard him call him by that name, as he walked away; knowing, something had been broken between them. “Namor! I will never forgive you for this. You hear me? I will never, forgive you!” The worst thing, that can be done. Is come between a man, and the woman he loves. Namor left the area, and returned to his quarter; then stood in front of a blank space on his wall. He picked up his paint, to begin depicting a story, of Attuma and himself.

The day room became lively with activity by noon, prompting them to reschedule group therapy to the evening due to the announcement of a special guest, even though no one knew who or what would be presented to the group. The thought of change to the routine everyone had developed was exciting to the group, and the chatter didn’t stop as everyone sat where group therapy normally was, waiting for the guests’ arrival.
“So are we all hoping it’s a clown or someone with proper food because this hospital food is ruining my gains.” Tengen looked sullenly at his biceps, flexing and relaxing like suddenly all his progress had wasted away in the 5 days everyone was in the unit.
“The change would be nice. “I would like time outside, even prisoners get to go outside,” Sanemi said while reclining in his chair, leaning so far back that the front legs of the chair were almost lifted off the ground.
“Everyone, if we could please welcome Sanya, she will be speaking with you all about drugs and drug abuse. This talk will be graphic, it will be raw and if it becomes too much, feel free to leave the room. I will be right outside the day room sitting on the other side of the glass for you guys. Please listen closely” Dr. Gotouge led a taller woman into the room. She was lean, her age showing in the sagging of her facial features, the permanent frown etched into her skin that surely used to smile. The doctor left with a smile, shutting the door behind her as Sanya sat herself in the chair the doctor usually sat in, setting down her large purse that looked full of books. The atmosphere was tense with uncertainty, Tengen was already shuffling in his seat, uncomfortable with the thought of drugs and a lecture while he was still dealing with withdrawal, the medications had made it easier, but it wasn’t perfect and his skin still itched with urge. Sanya sat quietly, observing everyone around her with a content smile.
“Good afternoon everyone, I’m Sanya. I’ve been here at Haven hill visiting and providing information, doing therapy and I am a part time nursing assistant in the adult rehab ward. I’ve dealt with many situations in my time as a nurse. When I was younger, I was a full-time nurse, but I wanted to cut back and take time for me and my family ten years ago this year.” She sat pin straight, stopping as everyone mumbled greetings. “I’m here to share my story of the effects of drugs and drug use. 32 years ago, November 16th, I gave birth to my only child, my son Trevor. He was a very smart boy who loved me and his father, he grew up in a normal home I think, his father and him often fished together, occasionally I would join but really to just sun bathe or work on reports while they sat on the waters edge.” She took in a breath. “Trevor went to community college when he graduated high school. He got an associate’s degree in forensic science and transferred to a four-year college to get his bachelor’s in forensic science as well. He moved to campus after his associates, leaving our home at 20 years old to pursue what he had wanted for a long time, he always had an interest in the macabre you see, he was his fathers son and didn’t shy away from the stories my husband told about his time as a crime scene investigator. That side of things always interested him. He wanted to know how things worked. He was a genius with science that I felt he would make a brilliant doctor, but that wasn’t what he wanted.” Tengen was growing increasingly anxious, visibly fidgeting as the story continued. “During his time in college he found substances. He had started going to parties often, falling in with the wrong people and learning the wrong things. He kept his grades up and he was doing well, we thought. But by the time he was 22, things changed. He came home for thanksgiving break, visiting us with a girlfriend in tow. She was a sweet thing, very caring and patient with him. She was helping me clean up after dinner and we were getting to know each other. I asked how she met Trevor and she went on a whole story of finding him at a party knocked out in the bathroom, bleeding from his head. She called the ambulance and no one would claim him as a friend or significant other, so she went with him, not wanting him to be alone. Trevor had been doing heroin quite heavily, this time strung him out. Grades had fallen and he was on the verge of getting kicked out. We knew none of this. He had always made it seem like he was doing great, no notices had come to the house, we couldn’t check his grade I mean he was an adult. He survived the fall obviously, just a few stiches, head injuries tend to bleed a lot and that’s how he found his girlfriend, Rachel. After his fall he got sober, he went to counseling to help with his stress and Rachel was a big help, she said she was very proud of how far hes come in six months.” Sanya was smiling as she spoke.
“Rachel stayed only two days before going home to her family who was closer to campus. Trevor stayed with us for another day before returning to campus. We didn’t see him until Christmas. Christmas Eve he came home to stay with us for a whole week, Christmas was always a big deal for our family, we didn’t pull any punches and tried our bedt to make it magical no matter how old anyone was. So with the house fully decorated and family visiting from different places we held Christmas eve dinner at our house and Christmas day everyone sepnt with their immediate family. Trevor was quiet, he had come without Rachel as she was with her family and he just seemed melancholy, not sad but just not offering much to the conversations. He spoke only when spoken too and just listened, he hadn’t drank or anything, he remained sober and it was a good dinner with family. He retreated to the basement after everyone left, that is where is old bedroom was, a more spacious room for a young adult male. My husband and I stayed up watching Christmas movies and setting up presents, we spent time reflecting on the year and chatting before we retired for the night.” She paused drawing in a deep breath, locking eyes with Tengen who looked like he was going to sprint through the wall if anyone sneezed.
“I will never forget the screams of my husband. He was running into our bedroom speaking so fast I thought it was in tongues as he dialed the phone. I was getting dressed for the day, brushing my teeth when he screamed. He had gone to check on our son, maybe pen presents if he was awake. I didn’t realize what was really happening. I was just trying to comfort my husband, rubbing his back, trying to get him to answer me when he was on the phone with first responders. I didn’t know that until he was describing it. I think a part of both of us died that day with him. I thought it was an error, a terrible nightmare. I left my husband on the phone with the responders while I went to check. I didn’t need to get far into the basement to know it was true. He had already turned discolored, indicating that he had been dead for at least 7 hours. Heroin overdose, he had managed to get some from a family friend at the party the night before and figured after 8 or so months of being sober he could immediately shoot the same level he had worked up too.” Tengen was out of the room by the time Sanya finished her story, seated with his back against the thick panes of glass that covered most of the wall leading out of the day room. Everyone sat in silence, waiting to see what Sanya would do. The woman appeared calm and tired, as if all emotion had been washed away from her. It was eerie to witness the transformation of a woman who was likely lively at one point. Your chest felt heavy. Is that what your mother would look like? She still had your siblings, but would she be affected like this? Sanya was right when she said a piece of her died that day, because she looked it, Lifeless. She was going through the motions of life but was she really living it?
“Addiction is not something to play with, it isn’t something that someone can handle by themselves. Addiction is a disease, and it kills just as quickly as many other diseases. Like many other illnesses, it takes a support system. Without that to lean on, it becomes easier to fall into old habits. That’s where we failed. That’s what I will always regret. I knew he was recovering, and I didn’t reach out. I expected him to continue to do right. I didn’t let him know I was there for him and I didn’t tell his father. I thought I failed as a parent by not knowing before Rachel told me, but I failed by not taking action while knowing. Speak up, reach out and get help. You can find help all around you. You just have to be open to receiving it.” The air in the room felt thick, uncertain as everyone hesitated for once to speak, no one interrupting eachother or fighting to get a word in, it was uncomfortable.
“You can also get into legal trouble. I was driving in the car with one of my old friends, she slept with someones boyfriend so I dropped her but we were driving to a party one time and she was in the passenger seat with Moly in her lap, we got pulled over and started panicking, he’s gonna ask what’s in the brown paper bag that isn’t suspicious and then he’s gonna search it and were gonna go to jail forever. So we’re sweating while this cop takes his sweet time walking up to my window. He asks for license and all that we go through the routine and I’m trying not to look at her, she’s trying not top look at the officer. I got a ticket for driving with an expired tag and he left. But we immediately dumped moly at the party and went back to my house. That was enough.” Mitsuri was nervously chuckling as she finished her story, looking at Sanya for any assistance to make this less awkward.
“Wait? Whose Molly?” You asked, confused as to why they seemed to have dropped a person or even an animal somewhere and abandoned them. The group burst into laughter, even Sanyas lips lifted into a smile.
“Molly is a drug. It is a psychedelic, used often at parties. You may have heard it called Ecstasy before.” Sanya explained while the laughter died down.
“You are too funny, you poor sheltered child” You shrugged off the comment, drugs just never seemed good, to alter your mind after everything you’d been through with mental illness? Seemed like a recipe for disaster, so you stayed away.
“Is there anything you are struggling with that you feel needs more attention? Substances? Food? People? Self harm?” Sanya looked around.
“We all are, that’s why we’re here, but I think we’re doing better. I know Theres people who may not even know me but somehow care about me and my well being. You don’t want to see others hurting unless you’re a psychopath.” Shinobu was looking at you as she spoke, a soft smile on her lips.
“Well then, I will let you guys continue on with your program. I wish you all good luck on your recovery and take care of yourselves.” Sanya stood, her bag in her hand before she excused herself, Dr. Gotouge sliding into the room as soon as she leaves.
“Wonderful woman, right? She’s strong, she’s seen a lot, as a nurse and as a human, a mother, a wife. You never know what someones been through until you truly look at them, the exhaustion on their face, the red around the eyes, the hollowed cheeks. But people persevere, its human nature.” The doctor sat herself at the desk near the doorway, relaxing in the chair as everyone sat in shock of the past hour. “Anyone want to talk about that?” She offered.
“Some people can care about their kids, others aren’t made to be parents and shouldn’t be,” Obanai’s voice cut sharply, as if he could slice you with just words, but you could tell that speaking made him uncomfortable. You didn’t know what hid behind the facemask and bandages that covered most of his face, but you can’t imagine it was painless.
“I agree. We should chemically castrate a lot of people,” Kyojuro yelled.
“I’ll do your dad if you do mine,” Sanemi joked, laughing alongside Kyojuro as their dark humor broke the uncomfortable air that was suffocating the room.
“Hey, guys, come on. I know you're joking, but if I was anyone else, I would have to report you for saying stuff like that. So just keep that to yourselves or say it quiet enough for no one else to hear. I know you well enough to know you won’t do it.” The doctor gave a pointed look to Sanemi, who shrunk in his chair, a halfhearted shrug thrown her way.

When They Get Protective Of You ~ Blackpink Reaction
Jisoo:
Your eyes looked away as soon as one of the group’s managers walked in, your eyes looked down to the floor. Jisoo noticed too, reaching across and taking a hold of your hand to try and get your attention.
“It’s fine,” you whispered across to her, trying to keep your composure as you began to worry about them saying something to you.
“Was it him that was rude to you earlier?” Jisoo asked, putting two and two together, beginning to work out exactly what had upset you earlier in the day.
As soon as she went to stand up, you pulled her back down. “Forget about it, it’s no big deal.”
Jisoo’s head shook as she looked back across to you, “they need to know what they did Y/N, I’m not going to let our own staff get away with bullying you around here as if you don’t belong.”
“I’ve got a thick skin, I can ignore it,” you continued to try and protest, trying your best not to cause any trouble for her.”
“I can’t ignore it,” Jisoo whispered, “I’ll be calm and polite, promise, but I’ll make sure that my view gets across too.”
“Just be careful with him.”
Jennie:
The smile on Jennie’s face dropped as soon as she heard mumblings from the group of fans that you were walking past. Any mention of your name got her attention anyway, but especially with what they had to say.
"What’s Y/N ever done to you?” Jennie asked them, moving you so that you were stood behind her and out of the way.
“We just don’t like her,” a couple of the fans replied, taking both you and Jennie in surprised as you tensed up in shock at how honest they decided to be.
Your body froze as Jennie stepped forwards. “What gives you the right to suddenly decide that?”
None of the fans quite knew where to look either as Jennie stared around across at them all. “We’re just not big fans of Y/N, we think that you can do better,” one of the braver fans spoke up.
“I’ll decide who I date,” she firmly told them, “and as for doing better, if you knew Y/N, you’d know that would be impossible.”
“Let’s go,” you told Jennie, trying to grab at her hand as you sensed that she was starting to get a little too passionate.
“Keep your opinions to yourselves.”
Rose:
A gasp came from you as you walked out of the elevator and into the lobby of the hotel, stunned by the number of people outside. You knew exactly who they were waiting for too as you looked to Rose beside you.
“It’s alright,” she smiled back at you as she noticed the panic in your eyes, “you just need to follow what I’m doing.”
“What if we get separated?” You fretted, not quite knowing what to do. “There’s loads of them out there Rose, I’ve never seen so many cameras.”
She reached across and took your hand, “you know that I’ll protect you from them all Y/N.”
Her eyes stayed with you as you continued to let go of several shaky breaths. “I’ve done this thousands of times before, all you’ve got to do is trust me and follow my lead.”
“Follow your lead,” you whispered, taking a deep breath, “I’m sure that it’ll be fine, you’re going to be right there as we walk.”
“Exactly,” Rose encouraged, walking you slowly towards the door. “If nothing else, just give them all a massive smile as you pass by.”
“I reckon that I can do that.”
Lisa:
Your head shook as soon as Lisa’s concerned eyes looked across at you, knowing exactly what she was asking you. A sigh came from you as Lisa walked over to you, knowing that it wasn’t nothing like you said.
“It’s just some of your fans, I read a few things that had popped up on my social media feeds,” you told her, succumbing to the look in Lisa’s eyes.
“Let me see,” she immediately told you, “if I can see what people have been saying, I can start doing things in order to protect you more in the future.”
Your eyes looked away from your laptop straight away, “it’s not as bad as you think it is Lisa.”
The smile on her face dropped as soon as she read through the screen you had open on your laptop. “How can people ever think this is an appropriate way to speak to people, it’s horrible Y/N.”
“I just let a couple of comments get to me,” you tried to explain to Lisa, “It’s nothing really, just me being a bit dramatic.”
“I’m not letting this pass as nothing,” Lisa quickly told you, “I can speak to people at work, there’s plans for things like this.”
“Don’t do anything stupid, please.”
