I like the discussion about what people wanna see in splat 3 and what they don't want to see but im reading a loooooot of takes that just sound like they want to make the game easier or something

"I hate x type of weapons bc I need x to counter it so I want it to be gone in the next game".... what...

Like I get the hate for sting ray one of the most busted specials literally no one likes save for few and for good reason! I get that.. but like... writing off entire weapon classes cuz you.. cant fight against them...? Then maybe you should try out new weapons..... or just.,, don't engage with that weapon in a match...

Also the thing with abilities, I can get all of the critiques for how we get the abilities and how they work in game and how some are so situational that you can't use them half the time, but like... I saw someone say "no more ninja squid bc its hard as it is for me to see where people are going but this makes it worse" ok sort of fair but also thats the whole POINT? If thats how you feel about it the ability is literally working how it should be and if you "need x weapon just to counter it" you've found the solution! But also come on. I feel like there's better arguments to be made ....
