let me rant for a little bit. 

sb: why don’t you just leave snezhnaya if it’s that bad? why do you miss it? don’t you want to move to a place like liyue or mondstadt? 

snezhnayans: family, connections, society, security, the outside world is being dicks to us so what’s better? knowing your home, your homeland, and your people where you have to survive sure but everything you love is there so you know how to live there and you know how to be safe... or go into the unknown where you don’t know how you’ll survive, how you’ll be met, know that it’ll take eternity to build up and you can’t even be sure you’ll be able to protect your family if you actually move out and do they even want to move if they’ve been there for years and years?

Basically, yeah. 

#as a russian like.. the country is hard. #the society is not as educated as i'd like them to be #the government is hard on the population and pretty corrupt #some want to leave sure but its also hard to just cut it off. #i've noticed that countries like america and other european capitalist countries dont have it the same way #we're just?? we like the culture. the food. the family. the surroundings. #it's not about the ruling and economics even. it's about being born there and just having a connection to it since childhood you know #it's something so little number of people understands when i'm talking about russia #its literally about emotional childhood connection. #so i'm just sitting here sometimes and like . . snezhnayan npcs say they miss their home #and it makes me feel validated because yeah #there is a LOT more to discuss here of course. #they're treated the way they are because of the country / governing strategy and how they represent themselves #and it's also very similar to how i've been treated before in some places that i've traveled to #the go.vern.ment is how people see us and its not true for everyone #many people just.. dont care or just shrug it off about many social differences #not only that but not everyone is privileged and able to leave #the economy is the reason for that as well. #( ❆ ) ― OUT OF CHARACTER. ❞
