Emotions beneath the surface level

Is it just me...or does Saitama look notably sadder than before in this? At the casual dismissal of his heroism and practically being told he was just a baggage and someone else stole his credit again? Also more tired of hearing that nobody knows who he actually is, if you look closely.

Just after when he commended on Child emperor for being a good hero. Man, that's an emotional betrayal right there.

I definitely don't recall him looking this down, empty-fish eyes just staring at nothing.

I also have some kind of memory recall that Saitama talked about noise specifically, but not explosions. I may be confusing it with the noise complaint in 100chp light. Or having cognitive dissonance about it, that may also be.

I did check and found that this panel was actually identical with some previous version, so legit nothing has actually changed... but the reason these might be getting updates is that people can be drawn towards the updated versions and see it for themselves that all is not well beneath the surface level for Saitama, if they actually look closely and search for his expressions and can actually read his minor display of emotions now and understand the character well.

Are we gonna play this game where the archives are there to play tricks on my subconscious to break 4th wall meta retroactively like the 164 redraw and it'll culminate at the newest chapter release within 2 weeks?

Like if someone was to go look again and only vaguely remember what it used to look like or feel like, they'd see glimpses of Saitama's real emotions beneath the surface level- type of deal intuitively.

I could ofc be getting trolled and reading too much into this...but the chapter WAS updated for some reason. So...

Just "feeling" that there is something incorrect here that didn't use to be there.

Like imagine feeling like seeing something and suddenly you start to see more in your vision type of deal and only because you've acknowledged that there's someting funky in there, like if Saitama was to suddenly acknowledge he can see spirits or some shit.

Gaining a new perspective type of deal with more knowledge about the character. If you know, you know and can see beneath the surface. Basically.

This chapter, chapter 106: Terrible multiplying bastard was updated today. Chapter 94: I see was updated yesterday I think and I could have sworn evil eye didn't have his eyeball randomly speak about "crime". But I'm comparing new translations with old translations from another site, so it's definitely not accurate impression.

The overall message seems to have become...distinctly different. Centered around emotions. Ofc, it could be just me again reading too much into it with empathy but hey, brain expansion I guess.

The wail of Evil-eye seems far more pitiful and mournful, Puri acknowledges the level of hateful emotion that he can apparently sense now, instead of just commenting on it's form and Tatsumaki's dismissal of not sensing the emotion from Evil-eye is far, far colder take with new perspective on matters.

This would also allude to Puri becoming more in tune with empathic sensing than Tatsumaki, makes sense because he uses emotion based power and Tatsumaki does her duty as hero because these monsters are a threat so she does not feel pity for them.

Also is she...using her chi/aura/soul-spinning powers to...delete Evil Eye from existence?

If she uses this on Saitama while feeling Killing intent...oooh man...he's not gonna like that AT ALL.

Does not matter if the effects aren't going leave lasting effects, the intent is there.

And worse...Tatsumaki may not notice it, what she is doing. She is not spiritually that sensitive to notice doing something with people's chi might hurt them gravely.

Things may get...messy. Messier than people anticipate. You don't wake the sleeping dragon if you know what is good for you, but ofc Tatsumaki won't know what lurks beneath.

Oh...Genos will feel that too, won't he. Because he's spiritually connected to Saitama due to his divine power empathy. Haha. Hahah...

These messages also sound far more ominous. Gyoro saying they saw only what they needed but now they're saying they saw everything.

Black S talking is the difference between Metal Bat fighting to get pumped up with adrenaline to defend people and Garou fighting with bloodlusted craze to do real harm and trying to actually kill people like Saitama. Let's not pretend Garou is goody two shoes just because he feels a lot of emotions and is empathic to other's suffering, he always attacked with killing intent because he grew up in a ruthless environment and tried to cleave Saitama in two. Then he did the same to Genos. Really, only the level of emotion changed when OPM God came for him and the moral justification behind his actions, so he became detatched. Never pretend Garou is not dark aligned and that OPM god "made" him hurt other people that he would never otherwise hurt, that's totally bias talking because we want to see the protag succeed and he showed he has a morally good bone in him. This killing intent manifested itself as monsterizing and cannibalizing other monsters.

Just because he's refusing to kill does not mean he does not try to gravely hurt other people with intent and he is not the defender, he is the attacker, the provoker in majority of the fights he's been in besides when he tries to protect Tareo. Which is just as awful thing to do honestly. Attacking people lethally without provocation should definitely be curbed.
