I genuinely love that the TF2 update increased player counts to like 100 players. And that it's not overly polished n a bit buggy, it opens the door without any handicaps to potential ideas that don't have a chance at the original 32 player cap.

I'n looking forward to 48~ player servers most of all, bigger maps will no longer be oddly ghost towns, you can have a wider variety of playstyles and experience allowing tryhards and noobs to blend together better.

100 players will be a marvel server sort of thing, in the same vein as randomizers or class wars.

Which is what the game needs. While I think it needs some more weapons-not more than a few, even reskins/models of weapons and a UI change to swap between them easier, what the game needs is freedom from it's old shackles.

The game trying to have a competitive scene was a terrible idea, this is a game that can be played in a variety of ways, overly balancing the game removed so much of the fun and insanity that now everything just feels too streamlined. This is a mixture of Party game and essentially Team Deathmatch.

Enabling the competitive scene and giving them tools is fine, but the game's not an Esport nor ever can be, it's trapped in this box of anti-fun that raising the player count goes a loooong way to pull it out of.

What TF2 needs is a better UI and more customizable servers. The ability to make class wars without server plugins, set only default weapons, make an Engineer Fortress gamemode for the Love Of God just make one you have MvM robots right there just fucking do it already please god it's the only thing I play anymore please god fucj

Open that box, don't worry about gameplay changes, don't worry about balance changes, focus on making this game more "open source" if you will. Mods like Team Fortress 2 Classic show that the series really needs that freedom without the need of a whole new "game". Most of what TF2C allows I guarantee could be allowed in TF2 without overtly breaking the default gameplay.

TF2 is going to splinter away and that's Far, Far worse than it simply fading away. If TF2Source2 gets finished enough, if a few more mods like it join in, even 10 years from now, you're going to have a split fanbase that has 0 direct revenue to Valve, when you easily could just make it so nobody even needs to go to "alternative engines" as poorly defined as I'll leave that. Ya don't want people having several ideas of what TF2 is or should be because they've not only experienced it but liked it better than TF2.

The only real way I can explain it is this:

Imagine your library, it's 2028, it has Team Fortress 2 (last played 2023) it has Team Fortress 2 Classic, it has Team Fortress 2 Source, it has Team Fortress 2 Ultimate, it has Dream Fortresse DeuXXX, it has Team Fortess 2.5 (Fan sequel)

That causes burnout like mad because of the sheer fact that now, nobody is happy with TF2, because 3 other versions did something better. And even if all of them die out in a year, the impact will have been made. Making a sequel only gets harder to impress, so instead:

With TF2 being adjusted to allow whatever set of rules the server host wants, you take all those fangames and squeeze them into TF2, which has the Mann Co Store. That the others did not have.

I get it, truly, TF2 is nearly 20 years old man. I'd prefer them to just do a final update and be done with it, but if that's not gonna happen, then just open pandora's box, shit, you made the game F2P, that was a massive move, why the hell not use TF2 as another experiment, one that allows more creator freedom than before.

Also drop the act with the workshop already. I don't remotely get your game with it, nothing gets added from it, 0 weapons, none of the fixes, voting does actually less than nothing most times, like...wh- why do you even have sv_pure set to on when you could have a curated list of safe mods to use in your serve- Am I fucking missing something here? How did you fuck up the workshop as a concept so badly here? You Created It??? Is it NOT meant for mods after all?

Who the fuck wants to not even download these literally most of the time mods, that I then have to download from another site, Like why do literally All Of Your Games not use Workshop Correctly? L4D2 is a Dumpster fire, some fucking how HL2 doesn't have a workshop still, maps hardly count but they're allowed a pass but it's still 1 step forward and a noticeable number of steps backward.

Point is: Expand on the workshop, drop the act that anything of worth gets added or that you even look at it ever, enable mods for TF2. Also add engineer fortress for the love of god just fucking add engineer fortress it's literally a whole other game that's genuinely funner than MvM anyways just do it ma'am please let me slide into your dms ma'am plea

conundrum. im trying to be more Real (less chronically dissociated n shit) (well really its mostly depersonalization and derealization that i deal with but those are less familiar words to most) but i dont want real. im sick of it. why should i be a person. i dont want that. fucj that. i want fantasy. i want fun. i want evenings to feel endless and almost overwhelmingly full of possibilities instead of just The Time When I Go To Bed. i wanna be a kid. for real this time. i want the world to be mysterious and thrilling to me. i wanna feel shit deeply. man, im done with this shit. i have all my little ducks in a row and i feel like shit. im doing the normal thing. ive DONE the normal thing. and i dont like it. its dull. i do believe, even deeper down, that the only real ‘purpose’ to life is to help others. to do good and make the world a less shitty place to be trapped in. but god it really is a trap, isnt it. like im not suicidal anymore, havent been for years. but im just so painfully bored of the colors of life. i dont think what i want exists. and if it does, i dont think im allowed to have it.

So then this was at like 9:30. Bro I can’t with my grandparents they treat me like I’m 7 all day every day it’s so much bro. Ok so then they were going into this sultans palace and Ik all ab this btw😅 I like history especially the ottoman one. Ok so we alr went there when I came like two years ago so I was like aight imma head out like u guys go check that out I’ll wait for u guys here bc they haven’t come before. So I waited for them and so i fell asleep on a bench😭 for two hours😭 like straight up public bench at a park n ofc I woke up every once in a while but I was so bad like I couldn’t keep falling asleep n like everytjme I woke up it was random ppl sitting next to me and whatever n I would check the time like damn they’re still not back. But thankfully I was sleeping bc wtf would I have done for two hours n then finally I woke up all super good n happy n motivated I felt so much better and then I was like fuck like how much longer will I have to wait like awake doing nothing. N thankfully they came like 15 min after. So then bruh I literally don’t even rmb what we did lemme see my pics. Oh yes there’s a pic of a baby bc I want to have a baby with u. And that was the bench where I slept at. N then we went to a cafe nearby n we tried postres and I had this drink it was rlly yummy. And more moon underthink sorta signs. Then we went to this underground thing and like I wasn’t having it so whateverrrrrr n like it used to be an aqueduct for the sultan some shit like that. And it was actually cool n they had Roman gods and goddesses in there bc the ottoman used to be scared of the Roman’s. Then we went to a very pretty mosque. I LOVE GOING TO MOSQUES. Middle eastern countries are def my second favorite place to go/have been after Thailand. Yes Ik our number one is Thailand😆😆 I love that we twin like that I love you. Ik we’re gonna go together. i actually disagree! i think shiv DID want to free kendall and also roman from the cycle of abuse and she did exactly that. i think the phrase that really sticks to mind is the i love you but i cannot stomach you quote from shiv to kendall. i think the saddest thing about it all is the fact that shiv is in the exact position she spent the entire show trying to avoid: being the wife and giving birth to a baby that will probably continue the cycle of abuse (and i think what hints at this is when roman says that shiv is the TRUE bloodline not kendall because kendall's kids aren't his). i honestly think it's a mix of the fact that she didn't want to give the position up to anyone AND she saw what it had done to the three of them. like i'm not going to say she was being entirely selfless but also i do think she loves kendall and roman. and in the ending you could say she's in a position in closest proximity to power in contrast to kendall and roman but it's not an enviable position. she's a mother and wife and that's all she'll ever be. tom is the man she wanted him to be. the man she tried to shape into. i think in a way it's a self fulfilling prophecy in regards to her and tom. also she was never going to escape unfortunately.

At first Sharky tries to explain and befriend her and whatnot but Kristy is so scared and distrusting of everyone (Probably because she got...yknow, kidnapped and dragged halfway across the world or something, idk lol) She doesn't trust him at all and is constantly thinking the worst of him... So thusssssssssss Sharky starts getting more bitter and pissy and angry towards her because...Well, fuck it. He's tired of being nice to somebody that's constantly throwing shit at him...Which, i do not blame him. (Sharky does have his limits as does...Everyone...) And Max is just like...The awkward middle man that's trying to fix shit because Sharky's his best friend/brother and Kristy's like his new bestie and "wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll we're a team now so you two dumbasses are gonna have to get along to some capacity!!!!" And Max isn't wrong there with the last point either lol... Kristy warms up more to Sharky as she gets more comfortable being in the Campsite and being forced around Sharky and whatnot...It just takes time...And Sharky isn't going to reject somebody who wants to change their mind on him (because he's had to do that a ton of times in his life and...He always wants that circle of close people to get bigger so...) Yeah, yknow lol Also Max is bad at remembering people's names (with Kristy tho, cuz she's being urhhh so bitchy towards the Campsite people who had absolutely nothing to do with her kidnapping and everything, he starts saying the wrong names on purpose cuz it pisses her off lol, that's a beginning joke...) And also also, in case you're wondering: Sharky ate a fish alive in front of em, that's what Kristy was going off about in the beginning bit lol...
