day 17 of the apocalypse, 3 weeks after the first outbreak.
you had lasted this long purely by camping out in the back of your car, rationing whatever you'd managed to bring in from your kitchen at the beginning of it all. but as supplies got low and you were down to your last water bottle, you were forced to venture out into the nearby woodland, gathering whatever you could forage from the streams and bushes. you knew absolutely nothing about surviving out here. you couldn’t hunt and could barely light a fire. the first day of winter was in less than a month and you had no real shelter to keep you warm. you had no idea which berries were safe to eat or how to filter water. all you had was your kitchen silverware for protection and your best winter jacket for the weather.
you’d last about 2 weeks out here at best, and that’s without the fucking zombies.
you'd been walking for about an hour since leaving your car, and to be honest, you didn’t think you could find your way back now. everything looked the same. you had found only a pocketful of what you could only guess was edible, and a protein bar from the pocket of a dead guy’s jeans. every single noise scared the hell out of you. and the bite marks on his neck raised your adrenaline tenfold.
thud. thud. snap.
footsteps. sticks breaking underfoot.
“who’s there?” you called out. “i’m- i’m serious, come any closer and… and… i’ll kill you!”, shouting now, cold hand gripping your rusted kitchen knife tightly.
you saw a huge figure behind the trunk of a nearby tree, and he chuckled lowly at your brave attempt to scare him away. “you don’t scare me, sweetheart”, the voice said, deep and rough, walking out from behind the tree, “thought y'were a rabbit or something - cute lil' thing, rustling in those bushes. and if i was infected, you’d be dead by now, with a mouth on you like that.”
he was an absolute giant of a man, 6 and a half foot at least and built like a brick shithouse. he was in full military gear, skull mask over his face, armed with a rifle in hand and knives strapped to his chest and belt. he approached you slowly, palms facing you like he was trying not to spook a stray cat. part of you wondered if you were hallucinating - you'd not been sleeping well from the nightmares of the infected night after night.
“no use shouting, anyway - they’ll find you straight away making all that noise.” he continued, leaves crunching under his black boots, walking closer, “what’s a girl like you doing out 'ere, all alone?”
you were frozen in place, like a deer in headlights. he was already intimidating as fuck without the massive armoury hanging round his waist, but now he was so close you could feel his breath on your face. a thought crossed your mind that if he tried to kill you now, there would be absolutely nothing you could do to stop him. it made a shiver run down your back.
his gloved hand reached out to hold your chin. you looked up at him, eyes welling up from the pure fear that ran through you.
“lost?” he said quietly, tilting his head to get a proper look at you.
you nodded slowly.
“well, you won’t get far with that old thing, love” he smirked through the mask, eyeing the blade in your hand. “here, i’ll take you back to camp with me, make you a proper meal, yeah? when did you eat last?”
you engaged in some light small talk on the way, finding out he was called “ghost” and he used to serve in a special operations unit for a private military company. i guess it made sense that the best survivors would be the soldiers. you mentioned how you’d been living in your car for the past two weeks, which seemed to amuse him. he probably thought you were just some dumb girl who’d somehow managed to scrape through until now.
he wasn’t wrong, really.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
his camp was much nicer than the back of your car.
it wasn't far from where he'd found you. they had lots of weapons and food and beds. and people. there must of been about 10 men in total. the infected weren’t really an issue with their impressive arsenal. there was a large fence surrounding the camp and the men took it in turns to kill anything that tried getting inside. it was pretty clear that ghost was closest to one of the other ex-military guys called soap. they sat together when they ate and stayed up late at night talking together around the fire - matching dog tags glinting in the dim light. you often watched them through your tent door - enjoying their company but not wanting to interrupt their conversation. you listened as they talked deeply, recounting their time serving together, telling stories of bravery and bloodshed. it became your routine to fall asleep listening to them.
after about 3 or 4 weeks, following the first snowfall, you’d adjusted to life in the camp. you'd managed to pick up a few skills from soap, who often spent the mornings taking you hunting or showing you how to use the guns - a hand on your waist as he lined you up for the kill shot. he had a sweet nature and silly charm to him, telling you ridiculous jokes that only made you laugh because they were so stupid. you would never tell him that though - he thought you found him hilarious.
however, it was ghost you’d grown closest to, giving you anything and everything you needed. he was mysterious and that drew you to him. one time, he took you down to the river to wash the cookware and yourselves, and you'd caught a glimpse of him pulling off his clothes and mask, blonde hair and muscles seeing the light of day. you couldn't deny it - he was gorgeous.
he often checked on you in the evenings, making sure you’d settled in okay. he sat next to your bed, running a gloved hand over your head, rubbing small circles into your scalp.
“you like the boys?” he’d ask, “they treating you okay?”
and you’d nod, just like you’d do every night.
“not scared, are you, doll?”
you shook your head.
“good. just making sure.”
and with that, he’d leave, heading to his own tent to rest, or out to guard the fence.
but one night, before he got up to get some sleep, you grabbed his hand. he looked back at you, dark eyes watching yours.
“stay?” you whispered.
and he did, without a word. stripping off his heavy gear and perching next to you in bed, rough camo trousers scratching against your bare shoulder.
and he stayed, just like you asked. watching over you like a dog and keeping you safe.
sometime in the night, you’d turned to face him where he sat, resting an arm over his thigh. but he didn’t push you off. he just let you rest - your warm breath causing a dampness throughout the tent.
it was only when the winter sunlight streamed through the tent that you realised he really did stay - all night. you opened your eyes to see he’d settled in next to you, his sleeping body alongside yours in the small camp bed, your arm still around him.
and when you tried to pull yourself away out of embarrassment, he pulled it back, keeping it over his chest.
“for warmth, yeah?” he said quietly, voice all deep and sleepy.
and how could you argue with that? these were trying times, after all.
after a moment's silence, he said “you’re a pretty thing, love. always thought so, even when i first met you and you were all scared and dirty.” he continued, heavy eyes looking down at your vulnerable form. “soap thinks so too, but you’re mine, yeah? i found you - you’re mine.”
there was something about the possessive glint in his eye that showed you he really meant it - his gaze trailing down from your face to your uncovered hips that had shuffled out the sheets in your sleep.
"cm'ere" he said, taking your arm in his grasp and pulling you towards him. "i mean it, love. do you wan' to be mine?" eyes watching your face to see how you'd react to his question. your faces were close now, closer than they'd ever been. he'd looked after you so nicely, giving you everything you needed, protecting you from harm all this time. you couldn't help but agree with him. how could anyone not fall for this attractive man who cared for you so much? and the feeling of his chest under your hand made you fall for him even harder.
"yeah," you whispered against his masked face "...yours."
your small hand reaching up to reveal his lips under his mask. he pulled you in, kissing you softly. it was short but there was so much behind it. you could tell he wanted more but he was holding back. he didn't want to accidentally push you away by moving too fast. he pulled back to look at you, hands cupping your soft face, which was still clouded with sleep.
"you're so beautiful, you know that?" he spoke so softly now. it was like the walls he'd put up had fell instantly. he just wanted a moment to be yours. no one else's. not the camp's cook or the guard or the hunter. just yours and nothing else.
you pulled yourself back to his face, kissing him again but soon moving your lips down to kiss his chin, and then his neck. but you didn't get far before he stopped you.
"no, no, love. let me take care of you - you deserve it." he said, turning you around so you were on your back, head resting on your plush pillow as his touch relaxed you.
it was almost as if for just a moment, you weren't in the middle of a fucking nightmare. you were at home, in your own bed. maybe you'd met him at work or out on a date - anywhere that wasn't in a forest full of zombies. and he'd taken you out for dinner a few times and you'd decided he was sweet enough to be kissing down your body, rolling his tongue over your nipples.
but here you were, in a camp full of strangers, being transported by this man who you barely knew, covered only by the walls of a thin tent. but it just felt so right to let him take you like this. you trusted him with your life. and in return he worked your body like magic. his touch was so gentle - yet his skin was so rough compared to your own.
"you want me inside you, baby?" he spoke to you so softly, having kissed down to the top of your underwear now. his eyes watched you, waiting for your permission to carry on.
"please," you replied, "i want you."
that was all he needed to hear. he pulled off his shirt and your underwear, tossing them both to the side. he admired your body shamelessly, eyes tracing the outline of your waist and your body. you couldn't help but do the same, entranced by the way his muscles practically glowed in the light that streamed through the tent. he was built like a rugby player, pure muscle but with a good layer of fat on top to smooth everything out. you watched as he unbuttoned his pants and pulled out his cock.
he was huge. you knew he was a big guy but you weren't expecting it to apply to all of him. it was definitely bigger than anyone you'd ever been with. his tip was an angry shade of red from how hard he was, precum running down his shaft. noticing the expression on your face, he reassured you.
"don't worry, i'll be gentle with you."
he lined himself up with your entrance, your wetness being enough to allow himself to push slowly inside. it stretched you more than you ever had been, causing you to hiss as it dipped inside you. he bent forward down to kiss you sweetly, silencing your pained noises, shushing you each time his lips left yours. he continued to move in until he bottomed out inside of you.
"you okay?" he grunted, "tell me when to move, love."
you paused for a moment, adjusting to his size before nodding to let him know he could start moving.
he didn't fuck like you expected him to. you thought a guy like him would be railing you like an animal, but no. he made love to you, his slow but deep thrusts hitting all the perfect spots in your gummy walls. it was pure bliss, and he thought so too, struggling to keep back his grunts each time he thrust into you.
"fucckkkk baby," he'd say, dog tag hanging down as he fucked you, "your pussy is so tight, gripping me so good". he hooked your legs behind his back and moved his big hands onto your hips to hold you in place. " is it good for you too, doll? you look so pretty with that fucked-out look on your face." he went on, smirking at you like he was proud of his work.
you couldn't even form words, let alone piece together a decent response. he felt amazing, pulling all the way out so only his tip was inside of you and then pushing all the way back in again, until you were an absolute drooling mess, jaw slack and whining on his cock. and just when you thought it couldn't get any better, he moved his hand between your legs and rubbed lazy circles on your clit with his thumb. almost instantly your pussy started pulsing around him - with you blubbering out incoherent swears and moans - having sent you completely over the edge in a matter of minutes. he wasn't far away either - your clenching making his hips stutter back and forward as he helped you ride through your orgasm. you could of swore you were seeing stars by the time he pulled out of you and came over your stomach with a moan, pressing his forehead to yours.
it took you both a few minutes to come back down again, giggling and kissing his lips once more. your arms found their way around his neck, holding him close to you. you were both a panting mess, clothes discarded across the tent floor and the scent of sex heavy in the air.
"my girl- you're gorgeous," he managed to huff out, catching his breath. " 'm never getting over you."
when news broke that a zombie apocalypse was spreading, you had no idea it would lead to this hunk of a man in bed with you - spoiling you and loving you like this. you weren't complaining, though. not at all. at least something good came from it.
he cleaned you up so carefully, being sure not to press too hard on your sensitive body. and when he'd made sure you were okay, he brought you something to eat and led down with you, stroking up and down on your back, drawing shapes and letters on your skin. part of you couldn't believe this was the same guy who you watched shoot a zombie in the face through the fence the other day. his hands were so gentle, always cautious not to hurt you under his touch.
and as your eyes grew heavy again, revelling in his embrace, you heard him say something into your skin.
"simon," he said quietly, face buried in your neck. "my real name's simon."

WIP Wednesday!
Tagged by @steadfastsaturnsrings 💜
So I had an idea for a new fic. Not sure if I’m actually gonna write it because I have 7 assignments and 2 tests to do over the next month but I just had this idea and I thought it was funny so here’s a snippet.
(Or Eddie gets transported back in time and meets Buck 1.0 at a bar)
“You keep staring at me.” Buck’s voice comes from beside him and he startles.
“I uh—“
Buck chuckles. “So, you wanna buy me a drink or do you wanna get out of here?”
What? Is Buck… hitting on him?
Eddie frowns at him. “I’m not uh—“
Buck rolls his eyes. “Really? You gonna pretend you haven’t been checking me out all night? Please,” he scoffs.
“I-I have a kid!” Eddie splutters out. Seriously Eddie?
Buck's eyes light up and his whole expression changes. He looks more like the Buck Eddie knows.
“I love kids!”
Eddie fights the urge to say I know. “His name is Christopher… he’s e—“ shit how old is Chris now? “Six?”
Buck furrows his eyebrows. “You sound mighty sure about that, man.”
Fuck now Buck thinks he’s a bad parent. “No, no, sorry uh yeah he’s six.” Eddie takes out his phone to show Buck the picture of Chris saved to his Lock Screen. Chris is so small in the photo — his red glasses are slightly too big for his face and he’s holding onto his blue crutches that had dinosaur stickers plastered all over them. Damn, Eddie really misses those days. Well, he supposes he’s got them back now.
“He’s super adorable,” Buck says, beaming, and Eddie knows he means it. Buck raises his hand to signal the bartender. “Question still stands though, drink?”
He shouldn’t… “Um, sure.”
Bucks eyes widen. “You’re—you’re not married are you?”
Eddie hesitates… technically. “Uh…”
“Oh shit! Sorry!” Buck is quick to apologise.
Eddie shakes his head, “No, no I haven’t seen my wife in… a few years? She left us.” And she’s dead in another universe but that’s a bit more complicated to explain.
“Sucks man. Her loss is my gain though,” he says, and there’s that smirk again. Eddie wants to kiss that smirk off his face. What? “I’m Buck, by the way,” Buck says, stretching his arm out.
I know, you’re my best friend. “Eddie,” he replies, shaking his hand.
“I look forward to getting to know you,” Buck says, his eyes wandering over Eddie’s body lustfully.
Eddie swallows. This was so not what he signed up for.
Not that he’s complaining.

Even with the calm sound of the leaves rustling from the light breeze, you couldn’t help but continue to look back over your shoulder to ensure that no one was behind you.
It was a nervous habit you had picked up after the murders began in your small town. You felt as if there was no amount of caution that would protect you from the psycho killer that was brutally ending innocent lives.
The thoughts had flooded your mind so much that you had momentarily forgotten your girlfriend was right beside you, her fingers interlaced with your own as she carried out her usual routine of walking you home after classes were over.
Your head was still turned back so that you could observe the people walking behind you, only being met with the sight of a students who you had seen around campus a few times. Ellie must have been trying to get your attention for a while, as she finally waved her hand in front of your face to snap you out of your trance.
“Jesus fucking christ, I thought you were listening to me that whole time. Did you hear anything I said?” she questioned, a light chuckle leaving her lips despite her harsh words. Your eyes widened in the slightest when her voice finally reached you, flinching momentarily since you hadn’t expected the sudden sound.
Ellie quickly snapped her head back in the direction you had previously been looking in, her brows furrowing to convey her confusion before looking back at you. “You’re acting like we have a stalker or something. Do you know something I don't?” she asked in her usual joking tone, your body relaxing in the slightest from how at ease Ellie seemed.
“M’ sorry for not listening, I’m just a little scared— you know? All the people who have been killed are people we knew” you mumbled, lowering your gaze towards the orange leaves that were scattered all along the sidewalk. Ellie couldn’t stop the light scoff that passed her lips, almost seeming too relaxed despite the fact that you were absolutely right.
“We didn’t know them that well” she added swiftly, a slight smile creeping onto her lips before she spoke once more. “Plus, it's not all bad. Classes are canceled till those dumbass cops can figure out what the fuck is going on. And considering the fact that they only know what costume the killer is wearing, we probably won’t have to worry about classes for the rest of the year” she blurted without the slightest bit of hesitation.
It wasn’t unlike Ellie to be so sarcastic but you couldn't shake the nerves that were flooding your body, a small frown appearing on your lips despite her attempt to ease the tension. “S’ not like they’re gonna be missed anyways. Those jock assholes got what was coming to them. Shit, maybe we should be thanking ghostfa—” she began, although her words never managed to connect in your mind.
You were far too distracted, as you had finally looked up at Ellie only to notice the slightest bit of blood seeping from a small gash that was covered by her hair. “Oh my god, what happened?” you questioned in a worried tone, your brows knitting together as you let go of her hand so you could try to observe her injury. With careful movements, you pushed her hair back only to find that the wound was far worse than you thought.
There was a purplish hue surrounding it, dried blood having collected into the roots of her auburn hair. You couldn’t understand why you hadn’t noticed it earlier, only being brought out of your thoughts when Ellie pulled your hand away from her face ever so gently. “S’ nothing serious, baby. Just got into a little disagreement with someone yesterday” she muttered in a careless manner, trying to play it off as smoothly as possible.
It wasn’t as if it was the most incomprehensible idea, as Ellie was known for her short temper and rather aggressive approach to resolving issues. However, that didn’t stop the small pout from appearing on your features, your eyes still lingering on the cut as you spoke. “You told me you were going to stop getting into fights” you huffed, not taking hold of her hand before you continued to walk in the direction of your home.
Ellie was quick to follow after you, catching up to you before you could get too far from her. “I said I would try to stop getting into fights. There is a big difference” she retorted, wrapping her arm around your waist before using the back of her free hand to wipe off the smallest bit of blood that had dripped down her forehead. You only rolled your eyes at her words, grumbling a soft “whatever” in reply.
The two of you had finally reached your home just as Ellie was about to make another excuse, and you were already pulling away from her so that you could make your way inside without her. Ellie wasn’t having any of that, pulling you back rather roughly so that you were facing her. “Can I come over later tonight, bun? I was thinkin’ maybe we could watch a scary movie together” she muttered, attempting to make you forget the fact that you were upset with her.
It didn’t work all that well, as you shook your head quickly at the request. “Not tonight” you sighed, squirming in the slightest from how tightly she was holding you. Ellie didn’t seem pleased with your reply, her sweet demeanor dropping completely as a frown took the place of her previous smile. “Why not? Are you seeing someone else tonight?” she questioned in an accusing manner, her grip only tightening as you tried to get her to ease up.
“No— I am not having anyone else over tonight” you scoffed, looking at her with an unamused expression. “I already told you that my parents are gone for the whole week and you know their rules” you began, only to be cut off by a low groan leaving Ellie’s lips. “No having your girlfriend over after dark” she mocked the rule your parents had made up the minute the two of you began dating, her voice making her irritation evident.
You shot her a quick glare but nodded your head nonetheless, watching as Ellie tried to find the right words to convince you to just disobey your parents this one time. “How would they even know? Promise I won’t tell on you” she said with a cocky smile, as she had lied to your parents faces countless times after helping you sneak out at night to come over to her place.
“I can’t take any chances after they caught you coming in through the window last week, Els. They still have me on house arrest for that” you whined in reply, not wanting to fight with Ellie about this any longer.
Ellie’s reaction was anything but sweet, as she rolled her eyes and finally released the hold she had on you rather carelessly so that you stumbled in the slightest. “I don’t fucking get it— you’re in college and they treat you like you’re still just a kid” she grumbled, not at all pleased with the fact that you always insisted on following their rules.
Your eyes narrowed at her words, a small sigh leaving your lips as you took in Ellie’s annoyed expression. You usually made an effort to not bicker with her over small things but she had been frustrating you more than usual as of late.
With the way she was constantly ignoring your calls and clearly lying about what she had been doing these past few nights, you knew something was up. You were just as upset as she was and you should’ve bitten your tongue and shoved it down as you usually did, but you just couldn’t.
“Not all of us can do whatever we want to, Ellie. Don’t try to give me shit just because you don’t have anyone back at home to give you rules to follow” you spat without thinking, your eyes widening the moment the words left your lips.
It had been almost a year since Ellie’s only father figure, Joel, had been killed, the case never being solved which had left your girlfriend with a massive sense of resentment towards everyone and everything. She rarely opened up about it to you, but you already knew how much it ate away at her.
It was a low blow but it was all you had in that moment. You just wanted to shut her up or maybe just piss her off enough that she finally explained her strange behavior. Despite your nervous expression, you stood your ground and offered her no apologies for your words.
Ellie had momentarily gone silent— her lack of response putting you on edge as you awaited her reaction. People continued passing the two of you by as you stood in front of your home, the soft buzz of their conversation sounding far away due to the deafening silence Ellie had left you with.
Her previous expression already showed her irritation, but once your words finally set in it changed rapidly. A little crease appeared between her brows, her breathing suddenly becoming uneven as she looked down at your unremorseful expression.
It was a strange sight, as Ellie was always quick to find some hurtful reply to hit you with before you could even blink. She leaned back for a moment as if to take you in before moving in closer, her nails digging into her own palms as she clenched her fists at her sides.
Your body was tingling with nerves, your eyes darting around every inch of Ellie’s infuriated expression. Her stare alone filled you with guilt and you tried to finally push some sort of apology out, but she was quick to cut you off.
“You are such a fucking cunt” she spat, the disgust in her tone so prominent that you felt beyond humiliated. Over the course of your relationship with Ellie, you had grown accustomed to her outbursts. Whether it be calling you names or her picking a fight with you for absolutely no reason— she always found a way to piss you off. And yet this time it felt so different, as you had never dared to talk back to her before.
Ellie backed up after she spoke, her piercing gaze tearing you apart so that you were left feeling embarrassed and exposed as you stood before her. “You always pull shit like this. Someone needs to teach you to stop running your fucking mouth” she said in a low tone, not even giving you a chance to reply before she started walking away from your home so that she could get back to her own.
For a moment you acted on instinct, taking a small step to follow after her. You snapped out of it after you moved, only letting your eyes trail after her as she moved away. On any other occasion you would have pleaded for her forgiveness, but you were done with putting up with her constant shifts in mood.
It felt as if you weren’t even in control of your body as you moved towards your home, unlocking the door with a blank expression on your face while your mind ran rampant over how Ellie had spoken to you. She had reacted differently than she usually would, as she had a tendency to raise her voice just to prove a point. And yet, she had kept an eerily calm demeanor as she spoke down to you.
Some part of you wished she would have yelled or made some sort of empty threat, as her quiet reaction left you feeling nauseous. You knew dwelling on it wouldn’t make it any better, a soft huff leaving your lips as you dropped your bag on the side of the couch so that you could lay down.
You turned on the television to have some background noise while you checked your phone, the news playing quietly as you fought with yourself on whether or not to text Ellie. Your thumb hovered over her contact, a frustrated groan leaving your lips before you shoved your phone between one of the couch cushions in an attempt to keep yourself from even thinking about speaking to her.
Ellie was the one who had started all of this— not you. She was the one who had been disappearing for hours on end with pathetic excuses as to where she had been. You didn’t owe her anything, even if you had momentarily slipped up and said something hurtful. She had said absolutely vile things to you countless times and you never reacted the way she did.
If she really wanted to fix whatever the fuck was happening between the two of you, she would just do it. You couldn’t make excuses for her anymore, as you had grown tired of her constant anger.
You were a bit dazed as you stared at the screen in front of you, the low volume making it hard for you to understand what they were even saying. It was as if your mental exhaustion was manifesting into something physical, as your eyelids were heavy with the need for sleep. There was no way you could be bothered to close the curtains in your living room, your eyes fluttering closed as you continued to think about Ellie.
Maybe this was for the best— the relationship you shared with her was anything but sweet. There was always something off about Ellie that you couldn’t quite discern and in all honesty, you were somewhat scared of her. You loved her a little too much and you had spent too long making excuses for her.
This whole argument had blown up in your face, and even as you drifted off you couldn’t help but think about how this was beginning to seem like a means to an end.
-
Your heart was slamming against your chest as you were abruptly woken up by the loud ringing of your phone sounding throughout the dark living room. The only other noise within the space was the quiet hum of the tv, your eyes flickering towards the bright screen to try and focus on what was playing.
With squinted eyes you read the breaking news title that read ‘GHOSTFACE STRIKES AGAIN!’ in crimson lettering, the vibrant red and blue police lights flashing on screen as they played a live feed of what was going on.
The sight alone had you sitting up straight, your phone long forgotten as you scrambled to find the remote. You held down the volume button so that you could turn it up, leaning your body towards the TV as the newscasters described the situation at hand. It was hard to make out the words in your sleepy state, your fist coming up to rub the sleep from your eyes as you did your best to listen.
You could only make out a few words—- a real life horror movie, another tragedy, gruesome, unlike anything we have seen before, and yet another college student has been lost. All of the words sounded strung together and they left you feeling uneasy, your eyes zeroing in on the screen so that you could get more details that would inevitably lead to you being paranoid all night.
A shiver ran through your body from how cold the room was, your eyes finally flickering away from the screen so that you were looking at the window closest to where you were sitting. The thin curtains moved with the small breeze that was passing through, sending a wave of goosebumps across your skin.
Why can’t you remember opening that window?
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of your phone ringing once more, the sudden disruption making you let out a soft gasp. After you realized what the sound was, you let out somewhat of a nervous laugh at how dramatic you were being over the whole situation.
There had to be an explanation for the window— as you did have a tendency to be rather forgetful and the phone calls were more than likely just scams.
Nonetheless, you shifted around so that you could shove your hand between the sofa cushions, finally managing to yank your phone out so that you could find out who was insisting you at such a late hour. You were given no satiation to your curiosity, as you were greeted with the sight of No Caller ID instead of an actual number.
It still provided you with a sense of relief, although some part of you had been hoping that Ellie was the one who had been so insistent on you picking up her calls. You declined the call, as you had seen too many horror movies thanks to your girlfriend's love for slasher flicks— and you refused to end up like those girls who die within the first 15 minutes since they pick up some unknown phone call.
You dropped your phone back down onto the couch, doing your best to continue to listen to the news report as you made your way towards the window. Your hands were just about to push the window closed but you were distracted by what sounded like footsteps coming from inside your house. The sound made you whip your head back, your breath picking up within a split second.
Fear was tingling throughout your entire body, your fingertips suddenly feeling numb as they pressed lightly against the window. The sound had disappeared just as quickly as it had come and for a moment you were able to convince yourself that it had just been some sort of hallucination. You had already been a little paranoid after seeing the latest breaking news and it was halloween time— of course you were bound to scare yourself a bit.
Just as the tension was leaving your body, the silence was broken by your phone ringing once more. You flinched in the slightest from how startled you were, a quiet curse leaving your lips as you discarded your previous task to grab your phone instead.
It was another blocked number and you momentarily thought about declining it once more, but curiosity was beginning to get the best of you. Against your better judgment, you accepted the call and pressed your phone against your ear.
“Hello?” you called out in a meek voice, the quiet sound of breathing on the other side of the line being the only greeting when you first spoke. “Who is this?” the voice questioned, sounding somewhat distorted but you assumed it was just your shitty phone service. “Well who are you trying to reach?” you asked in return, settling down onto the couch.
A low chuckle sounded from your phone, the person who was speaking to you seeming surprised by your question. “If you tell me your name, I’ll tell you who I’m trying to talk to” the disembodied voice quipped— and for a moment you could have sworn the person's voice was familiar. A light scoff left your lips, far too tired to stay on the phone with a creep who has nothing better to do than bother you.
“Sorry dude, I think you’ve got the wrong number. Take it easy” you muttered in reply, already pulling your phone away from your ear so that they had no time to respond. You set your phone on the coffee table so that you close the window, your hands slamming down the window harshly enough that the sound of it seemed to reverberate through the eerily silent house for far longer than it should’ve.
Just as you picked up your phone so that you could head upstairs to get to your bedroom, your phone began to buzz. You were growing frustrated with the calls now, your eyes narrowing as the lack of caller ID made itself known once more. For whatever reason, you picked up the phone once more and you were greeted by what you could only assume was the same voice of the person who was speaking to you before. “Why don’t you want to talk to me?” the voice questioned, their tone sounding a bit mocking which only added to your frustration. “Not a big fan of talking to strangers on the phone” you shot back quickly, your eyes focusing on the stairway that was just a few feet away.
“There's no way you want to be left alone though” they said calmly, not giving you any space to add another snarky remark before they continued. “I mean, you’re all alone in that big house on the corner. Now that just can’t be safe for a scared little thing like you” they breathed, the words coming out so nonchalant that if you hadn’t been paying attention, you would have missed what was right in front of you.
Your eyes widened once her words finally set in, your head immediately turning back to look at the window you had closed moments ago. “What did you just say?” you asked in a meek voice, your lips parting in the slightest so you could breathe a bit easier as your heart pounded against your chest. “Do you really need me to repeat myself, princess?” they questioned and this time you knew you had heard this voice before. Their condescending tone was something you had heard countless times, yet who had been the person to speak to you in such a way was barely on the tip of your tongue.
Within a second of the fear finally taking over every last bit of your body, your finger was roughly pressing against your phone screen to end the call. You dropped your phone back onto the couch as if it was some sort of cursed object, your body seeming to move without your permission as you started rushing to each window you were near to make sure they were locked. It took a moment for you to gain enough courage to peer in the direction of the front door, the lock perfectly in place much to your relief.
There wasn’t any time to relax, as your phone continued to ring as you moved around your home. It was all too overwhelming, the sound of the television mixing with the sound of your ringtone to create a garbled mess that only added to your already agitated state. You could feel a headache taking form as you practically tiptoed back towards the living room to avoid making an unnecessary noise.
You knew it was idiotic to pick up a call from someone who practically confessed to knowing where you lived but some part of you was convinced you could still beg them to leave you alone. With shaky movements, you answered the call and backed yourself into the corner of the room so that you wouldn’t have to worry about someone coming up from behind you.
“It’s a little too late to be making sure the house is all locked up, don’t you think?” the voice began the moment you pressed your phone to your ear, your whole body shaking from the shiver that overtook you. They were in your fucking house— and they were watching you. Before you had picked up the call you had the slightest bit of hope that this person was playing some kind of sick joke, but there was no way they could’ve just guessed what you were doing so easily. “Jeez, you’re already watching my latest hit. You must be a big fan of my work, huh?” they added on, clearly referencing the horrific news story that you had previously been engrossed in.
Your chest began to heave as they revealed that they were the one person you feared the most, your nerves twisting with your rising frustration to create an awful mix of emotions that tore at your insides. “Listen asshole, my girlfriend is coming over any minute and she will kick your ass!” you lied, practically shouting into the phone although your voice shook in the slightest despite your attempt to sound intimidating. It wasn’t as if the person in your home knew what plans you had for the night, right?
“Oh no, not your girlfriend! I'm so scared” the killer said in a sarcastic tone, seeming completely unphased by your threat. Your brows furrowed at their reply, as you were done being toyed with. You took one final look at your surroundings to ensure there was no ghostly figure that was about to jump out at you before you sprinted towards the kitchen, your gaze landing on the set of large kitchen knives that sat on top of the kitchen counter.
The space was only lit up by the moon that was shining through the window but you didn’t want to slow down to turn on the lights, your hand reaching for the largest knife and extending it outwards rather clumsily as if it would protect you from the invisible force you were fighting against. “Fuck you” you spat into the phone, already pulling the phone away from your face so that you could call the cops and get the fuck out of the house but your actions were quickly halted.
“If you hang up on me one more time, I swear to god I will gut you like a fucking fish” they seethed, the threat making your hand tremble in the slightest as you brought the phone to your ear once more. It was as if all those horror movies you watched with Ellie countless times had taught you nothing, as all you could do was stand completely still while every part of your brain screamed at you to run out of the house as fast as you possibly could.
The moment of silence was filled by the sound of creaking that now sounded as if it was coming from somewhere near you, your breath hitching in your throat as your grip on the large knife tightened. You couldn’t keep up a strong facade any longer, hot tears rolling down your cheeks before you could make any attempt to conceal them. Soft sniffles were all you could offer, as you weren’t exactly sure that speaking first was the best idea after the last words they had spoken to you.
“Look at you, following my directions nice n’ easy. Your girlfriend must’ve trained you to behave so well” the distorted voice cooed, almost managing to sound truly affectionate. You let out a pitiful cry at the menacing words, the fight between you and Ellie that had occurred earlier in the day filling your mind. If you had just let her come over, none of this would be happening. All you could see was the look of sheer anger that had overtaken Ellie’s features when you had spewed those hurtful words to her and you would give anything to be able to take it all back. Tonight could’ve been spent curled up at her side on the couch with some cheesy horror movie playing on tv but instead, you were living in one.
You just wanted to hear Ellie’s voice at this moment, to have her tell you what to do to defend yourself. She was always telling you that you needed to be able to fend for yourself but you had never taken her seriously and now you were left with the overwhelming consequence of your actions. The thoughts had consumed you so much that you hadn’t even given a proper reply, although your silence didn’t seem to offend the person on the other side of the phone.
“What? Got nothin’ to say now, baby? I wanted to hear more about that girlfriend of yours but you can’t even speak properly” they muttered in a false tone of disappointment, a small sigh passing their lips before continuing on. “How about we play a little game? If you win, I’ll leave you alone— but if you get it wrong, m’ gonna have to kill you” they spoke in a relaxed tone, making your death sound as if it was going to be nothing more than a chore to them.
“I don’t want to play any games with you— please, just leave me alone. I won’t tell anyone about this, I swear” you pleaded, hiccups interrupting your words as you continued to cry. You were desperate to stop the tears, as they were blurring your vision further which made it practically impossible to see anything around you as you stood in the dark kitchen. A light scoff sounded from the phone which caused you to jump in the slightest, every little thing now scaring you beyond belief.
“Well if you really don’t want to play, I’ll just have to kill you. It takes the fun out of it for me but if that's how you want to do it—” the voice began to taunt you once more and you were quick to cut them off, shaking your head feverishly as if they could see you, and in all honesty they probably could see you. “No, I’ll play!” you practically shouted, praying that whatever game they chose would be somewhat fair.
Your eyes were darting around the dark space around you as if someone would jump out at any moment, your heart beating so harshly against your chest that you were almost positive it would burst through in a few seconds if you didn’t calm down. “Alright, make sure to listen cause I really don’t like repeating myself. There's four closets in your house, so go ahead and guess which one I’m in” they demanded, their confession of being inside already making your blood run cold.
It was completely unfair to make you think at a time like this, your mind so muddled that you were practically whining at their question. How the fuck were you supposed to know where they were? You knew there was no chance of you making it out alive if you didn’t at least try to guess where they were hiding. It was only a little while ago that you had heard creaking downstairs— or was it upstairs? A frustrated groan left your lips, your shaking hand lowering the knife as you tried to think back to the moment when you had heard it.
“Upstairs! You’re upstairs in my bedroom closet, the room on the left” you blurted without thinking it through, your eyes widening as you realized you had just taken your life into your own hands. “Ah— so close! But still wrong” they shot back quickly and you were almost positive they were smiling as they spoke.
You were full blown sobbing now, raising your arm so that the knife was facing away from you once more as you tried to figure out what to do. There was a chance that they were still in the other closet that was upstairs which meant you could hang up on them, call the police, and run like hell before they had the chance to catch up to you. Or they could already be downstairs and there was no time to call the police. You remained silent as the options ran through your mind, the killer never once interrupting your train of thought which you were rather grateful for.
After what seemed like hours of contemplating every little detail, you took a deep breath in and checked your surroundings one last time. Darkness seemed to consume all that you could see and that only caused your adrenaline to rise further. Your movements were done so quickly that you hadn’t even registered what you were doing until you were ending the call, shoving your phone into your back pocket before you took off towards the front door as quickly as you possibly could.
You weren’t even wearing any shoes but you couldn’t be bothered to care with your life on the line, the knife you were holding remained in front of you in a defensive manner as you moved through your home. The front door was in your line of sight and it was so close— you could practically feel the cool autumn air that was waiting for you just outside the door. You were so close to being free, your tears continuing to fall but from relief rather than fear.
This fucked up night could finally be over and you wouldn’t stop running until your lungs gave out on you. All you could think of was Ellie as you reached for the doorknob, already imagining how worried she would be when you told her about everything that happened tonight. Your hand was mere inches from the door, your fingertips barely grazing the cool metal of the doorknob before your motions were disrupted by the sound of a door swinging open.
The cloaked figure lunged at you the moment they came into view, the sight of the white mask filling you with utter terror as they dragged you away from the door. You were screaming as loud as possible, doing your best to alert your neighbors about what was going on. They were far stronger than you were despite the strength provided by your adrenaline, as they were able to grasp your wrist so that you were unable to make any attempts to swipe at them with the knife you were holding onto. Before you could realize what the killer was doing, they grabbed your phone from your back pocket and slammed it against the ground so that it was reduced to a shattered mess that you were left unable to use.
You were squirming around relentlessly, trying to free yourself from the bruising grip they had on you. They had gotten you pinned up against the wall to the side of the front door, knocking the last bit of air out of your lungs from how forceful they were being. It had taken an incredible amount of energy for you to finally manage to free one of your wrists from the hold they had on it, although it was devoid of any weapon.
Your hand raised towards the ghostly mask, half expecting ghostface to kill you right then and there for making an attempt to find out who they really were and yet they made no effort to stop your movements. You finally grasped the bottom of the mask, a pained squeak leaving your lips as their gloved hands dug into your soft flesh to keep you in place. In one swift motion, you managed to pull the mask off completely and you were greeted with a gut wrenching sight.
“Surprise, baby!” Ellie said in an all too cheery tone, her voice sounding a bit breathy from having to fight to keep you still. Her usually gentle features were splattered with blood, the metallic scent filling your nose due to how close she was to your own face. Her last victim must have gotten her mask off just as she sealed their doom, as that could be the only explanation for how she had managed to become covered in their blood. She must have come straight from her last kill— the one you had just viewed on tv.
It felt as if your world had just caved in or even exploded, you really couldn’t decide. Finding words after realizing your girlfriend was the one person you should’ve feared the most was a rather hard task, your lips parting countless times to speak and yet no words came out. Your tears had ceased to fall as you took in her slightly amused expression, your shaky hand dropping the mask onto the floor as your mind ran a mile a minute. Despite the overwhelming fear you felt, the sense of betrayal was far too much for you to keep down and it gave you just enough momentum to finally do something.
“You fucking liar” you spat, thinking of all the times Ellie had insisted that she had simply had her phone on silent or had fallen asleep early when you didn’t hear from her for hours at a time. You had confided in her about the fear you felt about all the murders that were happening in town and she had soothed you each time, insisting that she would be there to protect you if anything were to go wrong.
All the while, she was the one who had been causing you so many sleepless nights and she was the person who had taken so many innocent lives. A sick smile was beginning to take form on Ellie’s lips after you had spoken and you could already tell she was about to give you some sort of snarky reply. Her grip on you had relaxed ever so slightly since she believed you were too frightened to do anything and you knew this may be your only opportunity to get away from her.
Just as she was parting her lips to speak to you, you mustered up all your strength to tug your wrist up enough so that your hand that was still gripping the knife could make contact with her skin. You couldn’t reach very far due to her quickly realizing what you were trying to do, a grunt leaving her lips as she attempted to keep you still but she was too late. With a quick movement, you were able to make a swipe at her arm that was still making an attempt to hold you, blood rushing to the surface of her skin within the blink of an eye.
Ellie released you once the warm liquid began to drip down her arm, instinctively bringing a hand up to cover her wound before she could think about what she was doing. You didn’t wait to get her full reaction, sliding from where she had you pinned against the wall and running as if your life depended on it— and at this moment, it really did. Soft whimpers left your lips as you desperately tried to think of somewhere to hide before she caught up with you, your hand taking hold of the door leading into the garage the second she began calling out your name.
You hid behind the door, the knife still held tightly in your right hand while you clasped your other over your own mouth. Keeping your breaths quiet seemed almost impossible but you couldn‘t risk having any slip ups. The door was left slightly ajar on purpose, as you needed to be able to see Ellie as she moved throughout the house so you could make sure she was out of the way before you tried to get back to the front door.
Her cloaked figure was moving slowly, your name leaving her lips tauntingly as she suppressed the pained groans she so desperately wanted to let out. You had managed to cut her fairly deep and the blood soaking into her cheap halloween costume was direct proof of that. “Get out here you fucking coward” she seethed, her head whipping back towards your direction when you accidentally let out a sound of surprise at her loud voice booming throughout the home.
Your eyes widened at the realization of your mistake, squeezing your eyes shut momentarily as if it would make Ellie disappear completely. “If you come out now, I promise to play nice” she lied in a sickeningly sweet tone, her eyes narrowing as she got closer towards the very door you were standing behind. Her footsteps were heavy as she made her way towards you, your eyes beginning to well with tears once more as she got closer. For a moment you couldn’t tell what she was doing, as she had stopped so she could take off the black cloak completely. Wearing only a black tank top and jeans, you could now see that her body was littered with bruises, the gash you had just given her smudging her arm a dark red from her cloak pressing against her skin.
Ellie had been wearing her hoodies constantly these last few weeks but you hadn’t thought anything of it, as the chilly weather was enough to explain it away. But it explained why she had been keeping her clothes on the last few times she had managed to get you alone, always insisting that she just wanted to make you feel good. She would have you completely bare while she remained fully covered and you had never even given it a second thought. You wished that you would’ve paid more attention to all the signs pointing to her being the culprit, yet there was no way you could have ever guessed that she would even be capable of such heinous crimes.
After taking in her injured form, you watched her hand move towards her back pocket so she could pull something out. You could see something else that was tucked in the back of her jeans but you didn’t have enough time to get a look at it, as the sound of her switchblade flicking open had you focusing your attention back on her hand that now wielded the weapon. You felt as if the breath in your lungs was being stolen from you, your body backing up slightly so you could press yourself against the wall in the hopes that she wouldn’t see you.
Just as she was reaching for the doorknob, a noise cut through the silence that sounded like a dish clattering. You did your best to not make a single sound as she turned away from you, clearly believing that you were the one who had made the noise. For a second you believed fate was finally on your side, as one of the dishes in the sink must have slipped just enough to get her distracted. “I’ve got you now” she taunted, swiftly making her way towards the kitchen.
A quiet breath of relief left your lips once she was out of sight, your hand moving away from your lips so that you could take in a few gulps of air before making any sudden moves. Now that you could no longer see her, you could only assume her position in the house, her footsteps sounding far enough for you to open the door a bit wider. Your eyes darted in the direction of the staircase that was just down the hall, your heart pounding in your ears as you tried to decide if it was actually even possible for you to get upstairs without alerting her.
You would rather go for the front door but that had already proven to be the wrong move and she would already expect that from you. After a moment of contemplation, you drew in a deep breath that seemed to cause your whole body to shake before you carefully pulled open the door and bolted towards the stairs before you could overthink it.
You could spot your room as you reached the bottoms of the stairs, your body momentarily relaxing as you continued to rush as quickly and quietly as possible. You were so close— so close to being able to get away from whatever nightmare this was.
And yet, just as you reached the bottom of the steps, an uncaring hand tugged you back by your hair. The cry you let out was pitiful, your head spinning as you tumbled to the ground. You already knew what had happened but that didn’t lessen the blow of having to see Ellie right above you, using her knee to keep the rest of your body held down as she kept a tight hold on your wrists.
“You really are a fucking idiot, you know that?” she seethes, her chest heaving just the same as yours is. Crying would be futile at a time like this so you look up at her with nothing but betrayal and resentment. “Fuck you” you seethe, although your words only make her smile brightly. “Aw no, baby. We already played that game, remember?” she asks teasingly. You hated her more each time she opened her mouth and you wanted nothing more than to smack that stupid fucking smile off her face.
“W— why are you doing this?” you ask abruptly, your eyes scanning her features for even the slightest bit of regret and yet you came up empty. The question makes her scoff, as she couldn’t believe that was what you chose to ask at a time like this. “You’re so unoriginal” she huffs, although her grip on your wrist falters as she begins to speak. “You should know already” she continues on, her eyes remaining focused on your fearful expression.
“No one took his death seriously— no one. So why does everyone suddenly care when a bunch of asshole kids from a college get killed off, huh?” she begins, and you already know she is referencing Joel’s abrupt death. “I figured I’d give those cops something to do since all they’ve done is sit on their asses… those fucking bastards” she says, so lost in her confession that she doesn’t even feel the way you easily slip your wrist from her grasp and before she takes notice, you use all the strength you could muster to smack her, not giving two shits as to why she felt she had the right to harm others.
The hit makes her groan, her head turning from the force of it as her whole body weakens for a brief moment, just long enough for you to shove her off of you and make another run for your bedroom. You could hear Ellie screaming meaninglessly as you sprinted for your life towards your bedroom, the sound of her footsteps right behind you making it hard to breathe.
There was no time to slam the door before she got a hold on you again and she was going to make sure you knew she wasn’t fucking around this time. You were about to scream just to call attention to the house in case any neighbors happened to hear but you were quickly cut off when you felt a cool metal press against the side of your head.
She had a fucking gun— that was what you had seen tucked in her jeans earlier.
You felt as if your lungs were giving out, soft pleas beginning to fall from your lips as your body trembled in her hold. “Not so tough now, huh?” she questions, guiding you towards your plush bed and shoving you down on it, watching as you look up at her with teary eyes as she keeps the gun pointed at your head.
The sight of you being reduced to such a pathetic sight made something blossom in Ellie’s chest, a sick sense of pride. She tucked the weapon into the back of her jeans before slowly crawling into bed with you, her body straddling your own as she looks down at you curiously. You can’t speak even if you try, the words dying in your throat as you watch her pull out her switchblade instead.
She seems to relax, although you are tensing with each passing second as she brings the sharpened blade closer to your skin. You shake your head repeatedly, trying to reason with her. “Please— please don’t kill me” you begin to beg, the words leaving your lips countless times before they finally invoke a response from her. “Oh, angel. I don’t want to kill you. Just wanted to have some fun with you but then you had to make a big fuss, didn’t you?” she asks, her voice so soothing that you could feel your rational mind slipping away.
“You really hurt me, baby” she sighs, beginning to use her blade to slice through the fabric of your top effortlessly. You whimper, a bit too loud for her liking. “Shut the fuck up” she snaps, cutting into the band of your bra next, her rough hand messily tugging the ruined material to the side so she could get a perfect view of your tits. You felt all too exposed, your frown deepening as you looked up at her.
“So, are you gonna apologize for being so disrespectful?” she questions as she pushes up the material of your skirt, her blade catching on your panties. “Sorry” you mutter, squirming since her blade was uncomfortably close to your skin. Ellie’s patience was wearing, a low huff leaving her lips as she cut into the fabric. “Stop fucking moving!” she says exasperatedly, the loud words causing your body to still at once.
She sighs as she pulls the thin fabric away from your body, her eyes shamelessly focusing on your cunt, her hand carelessly shoving your thighs further apart. “Say it like you mean it” she demands, not at all impressed. Her words make you burn with shame, your mind racing as she brings her hand closer to your cunt that was beginning to become embarrassingly wet.
Just as your words began, her blade dug into your lower tummy in the slightest, barely enough to draw blood. “I’m sorry, Ellie! I didn’t mean it, I swear” you plead in a rushed voice, trying to focus on not moving at all so her blade wouldn’t push deeper into the soft skin of your stomach. Your chest heaved against your will and you were almost positive that this was the end for you,
Seeing you all teary eyed and frightened made Ellie dizzy with power and she finally pulled away the blade, tucking it into her pocket before giving you a little kiss on your lips, not at all caring that you didn’t even have time to react to the action. “Was that so hard, sweet girl? Can’t believe you made me hurt you” she says with a mocking pout.
All you can do is try to control your breathing, no longer attempting to struggle under the weight of her body. You knew your life was in danger but Ellie’s presence made it impossible for you to have any sort of rationality.
“C’mere” she mutters calmly, finally scooting back so that you could sit up. She could already tell she had gotten you right where she wanted you so she felt no concern about letting you sit up for the time being. She carelessly removed your torn clothes so that you were finally completely bare for her.
She couldn’t help herself, as her hand naturally lowered to deliver a few rough slaps against your tits. You flinched, the pain spreading quickly and making you huff a bit. It was hard not to be ashamed when you were completely nude and she was still fully clothed. Not to mention the fact that you were willingly allowing a ruthless killer to see you like this.
No words were spoken as she laid you back down, not paying you any mind as she lowered herself so she could settle between your legs. You knew better than to move at this point, so you settled for raising your head in the slightest bit so you could peek down at her.
Ellie didn’t bother to meet your gaze, her rough hands moving against your soft skin as she made sure you would be unable to press your thighs together. “Els…” you began, unsure of what you were even going to say. You didn’t even have the option to finish your sentence, as in the blink of an eye you could feel her warm breath against your cunt.
You flinched involuntarily as she pressed a messy kiss to your sensitive clit, her tongue flattening to lick a stripe against your slit afterwards. She only backed away to speak a few simple words. “Just keep your mouth shut” she muttered before returning to her previous movements.
The way her tongue sloppily moved against you showed a desperation you had never seen before, although the grip she had on your hips was proof of the anger that still lingered. You clasped your hand over your mouth, your brows knitting as you focused on how she would take little breaks to focus on sucking on your puffy bud.
Your shaky hips rocked against her mouth, her own moans filling the room as she took in your sweet taste. “You gonna let me open you up?” she asks ever so calmly, allowing her middle finger to press into your slick cunt so she could fuck you with it.
You were growing dizzy with a combination of guilt and pleasure, tears of frustration forming as she fucked you open. “Does it feel good, baby?” she asks, raising her head so she could look at your pathetic expression. You look at her for a moment, unsure if you were actually allowed to speak.
The sight of your unsure gaze made Ellie grin in the slightest, not giving any warning as she pushed a second finger into you. “S’ fine, I wanna hear you” she says, granting you the permission you had been seeking out. Your muscles relaxed as you were finally allowed to let out small moans, your tears now aimlessly streaming down your face.
“Mhmm,  I can feel it so deep” you whisper, curses slipping out as you press your head back against your bed. Your small movements quickly became erratic, your body writhing as endless pleasure built. “Need to cum, please” you beg, as something tightening in your lower tummy told you that you were getting close.
“Not yet, we haven’t even gotten to the fun part” she hums, not caring about the shocked expression that took over your features. She halted the thrusting of her fingers to pull them out, your arousal still sticky against her skin.
You momentarily believed that she had no intentions of letting you get off and you simply couldn’t bear the thought after all you had been through tonight. You needed to feel release, sooner rather than later.
“I’ll do anything” you say quickly, your words so rushed that they almost don’t make sense to Ellie. Her eye refocus on you as she takes a moment to decipher what you had said, a smile making itself known as she reaches for an item still tucked into the back of her jeans.
“I know you will” she quips, finally revealing what she had been reaching for. Ellie loved how heavy the gun felt in her hand and it offered her a sense of control she had never felt previously. Your heart nearly leapt out of your throat, your muscles aching from how harshly you were tensing up.
The way you feverishly shook your head made you momentarily nauseous and you uttered the only words you could think of. “Please— don’t hurt me, I love you” you say breathlessly, feeling hurt at the way Ellie was quick to mutter a mocking version of your words.
“I’m not gonna hurt you unless you make me” she states nonchalantly, inching the gun closer to your cunt but not before taking the time to spit directly on your pussy to ensure you wouldn’t be in too much pain from the stretch.
You feel powerless as she finally presses the cool steel against your slit, the sound of her low voice reverberating inside your mind. “Make sure to keep still. You don’t want me accidentally pulling the trigger now, do you?” she asks with a sick smile.
The two of you already know your answer so you don’t bother with a verbal reply, instead you close your eyes tightly and brace yourself.
The barrel of the handgun eases into your cunt and you are thankful that she had the decency to make sure you were slick enough to take the weapon. Although that’s not to say that there wasn’t any pain, as low grunts were quick to leave your lips from how thick it was.
“Keep taking it, just like that” she coos, now beginning to properly fuck you with it. You had fallen weak to your desires, as it dawned on you that you were truly nearing your orgasm due to the fact that you were being fucked with a gun. The thrusts were deep and fast, your moans becoming borderline screams as your pleasure continuously built.
The barrel had grown warm from being within you and the way you were crying Ellie’s name let her know that you were on the brink of your climax. “Do it. Cum on my gun like the filthy girl you are” she mutters, rubbing your clit in time with the thrusts of the weapon.
And you didn’t need to be told twice, as with one loud cry, you had reached your orgasm. Ellie felt pride swell within her chest as she saw the white ring of your slick that had formed at the end of the barrel.
She eased the weapon out of your before using her tongue to shamelessly clean up the mess you had made on her weapon of choice. You were barely coherent, the exhaustion of all the fighting you had done catching up with you as well as the fact that your adrenaline was wearing off.
You didn’t even notice as she stood above you, phone in hand as she took a flash photo of your worn down state. Once the light made you squint, you could hear her voice right next to your ear but you couldn’t even see her.
“You tell anyone about what I did, I swear to god this picture will be plastered everywhere so everyone knows how much you love getting fucked by sickos. And if you ever talk back to me again, I’ll blow your brains out before you can even finish your sentence” she whispers.
By the time you can see clearly again, she is gone, leaving you to clean up the mess she had made. But even with her gone, you swore you could still feel her eyes on you and you knew once and for all, there was no way she would ever let you get away from her.

Domestic!Gale figuring out how to build a crib
hello! 💗 thank you so much for this request, I had lots of fun writing it 😂 mr. I can build a homemade crystal radio experiencing problems with building a crib was making me giggle all the time 🤭😌
my inbox is open for blurb/short fic requests for major cleven 🤗
Tumblr media
Almost everything had been already prepared in the nursery – Bucky had helped your husband to paint the walls and insulate the window. You had chosen the furniture and decorations and it all looked put together now except for one thing – the crib. You couldn’t find the one that you’d like enough and that would fit in the nursery design. You were slowly running out of time since the baby would come in less than two months so on that weekend Buck took you to one of those big stores in the city. It took two hours to drive there from your town but you promised him that this time you would choose the crib for sure.
“What about this one?” You asked after a while of staring at one of the cribs in front of you. It was light wood and there was a picture of a cute teddy bear on the side.
Your husband furrowed his brows and inspected the price tag. He hummed to himself for a while and began to examine the crib itself, knocking on wood and feeling the texture with his fingertips. You chuckled at the sight – one would think he was a carpenter and therefore an expert.
“So?” You asked, impatiently.
“It’s nice,” Buck admitted and straightened his back. “It’s convertible, too,” he added. “Are you sure you want this one? I won’t be coming back here to return it if you change your mind tomorrow.”
“Oh, I am sure!” You smiled at him and caressed his arm.
“Do you need some help?” The salesman approached you with a smile. “You seem to be interested in this model.”
“Yes, we are. We want to buy it,” Buck told him.
“Excellent,” the salesman nodded his head and pointed at the counter with the cash registers. “I’ll bring one from the storeroom,” he told you and walked away.
“From the storeroom?” Buck furrowed his brows at you. “I thought we could take this one,” he pointed at the crib behind you.
“Don’t be daft, it’s a big city store! They have these for display only,” you sighed and dragged him to the counter, excited to finally make this purchase.
The salesman joined you a moment later, barely holding a huge box with the image of the crib chosen by you printed on it.
“I’m paying all that money and I have to put it together on my own?” Buck asked and you tugged on his sleeve to shush him. The salesman raised an eyebrow at him.
“It’s designed to be assembled quickly and easily, sir,” he assured your husband. “But if you require an additional help, we can–”
“No, thank you,” Buck chuckled at him as he took his wallet out of the pocket. “I don’t need help with such things. I can build a homemade crystal radio out of a wire,” he casually bragged as he put the money on the counter. It was unlike your husband to act like that, so you assumed the salesman had upset him with his insinuation that building a crib would be too difficult to handle.
The salesman widened his eyes as he laid his eyes on you and you rolled his eyes and smiled at him. He relaxed and handed Buck the big box before taking the money. Your husband struggled way less with holding the box than the salesman had.
“Please, wait a second, I need to give you a receipt just in case you want to return,” the salesman brought out some papers.
“I’ll wait in the car,” Buck told you and you nodded at him. He walked away and when he was out of sight, you bit on your lower lip and approached the salesman.
“So… What if building a crib turns out to be more difficult than building a radio?” You asked him.
“There’s a manual inside the box. And a phone number in that manual. The factory that made that crib produces lots of furniture and they have a hotline for people experiencing problems.”
“Thank you,” you smiled at him and got the receipt.
Tumblr media
Buck was determined to put the crib together on the same day. When you walked inside the house, he brought the box upstairs as you followed him.
“Gale, I’m about to prepare dinner now. It can wait for tomorrow,” you leaned on the doorframe of the nursery.
“Oh, please, baby, it’s gonna take me five minutes. You won’t even boil the water before I finish,” he opened the box and discarded the manual as he threw it across the room.
“Buck, I’d rather you not…” you crouched down clumsily to pick the manual up. “I mean it, Gale. I know you’re good at such things and you have nothing to prove,” you sighed. “I wish you assembled this crib according to the manual because I want it to be safe for the baby,” you pointed out.
“Go, make dinner. You can inspect later if I did it right if you know so much about building cribs,” he looked up at you. He was more playful than rude but you were sick of his attitude anyway. You threw your hands up in the air to show defeat.
“You know as much as me about building cribs… but fine,” you rolled your eyes and left the nursery with the manual still in your hands.
You went downstairs to boil the water for the pasta and began to work on the tomato sauce. Fifteen minutes later the food was ready but your husband was not.
“Gale!” You called for him. “The food is ready!”
“Give me five more minutes!” He shouted down and you nodded to yourself.
Five minutes later, you called for him again.
“Gale, I’m hungry!”
“Eat without me!” He answered in a tone more frustrated than before.
So you did eat alone and even washed the dishes while his plate still was on the table. You sighed and walked back upstairs.
“Baby, your food’s getting cold,” you entered the nursery and then you gasped at the sight of his focused and angry face and all the screws scattered all over the floor. The pieces of the crib were not put together almost at all. “Jesus, Gale,” you laughed and he looked up at you. His anger turned into embarrassment as he blushed immediately.
“I’ve never seen furniture like that! Don’t laugh at me, it’s the new generation or something,” he mumbled.
“Buck, baby…” you chuckled at him as you approached him to fix his ruffled hair. “Go downstairs and eat. We can deal with that tomorrow, alright?”
“Yeah,” he nodded and sighed in defeat.
You turned the light off and closed the door before going back downstairs after your husband. You sat by the table with him and watched him eat.
“Is it not too cold? I can heat it up for you,” you proposed.
“It’s fine,” he shook his head. He was still blushing and visibly avoiding your gaze.
“You know, in the manual, there’s a phone number. We can call them tomorrow, they have a hotline for people experiencing problems and…” you started.
“I’d rather die than call them,” Buck looked up as he told you, seriously.
“There’s no shame in not knowing everything, Gale,” you chuckled softly.
“It’s about honour,” he shook his head.
“Honour? Baby, for God’s sake, it’s only a crib!” You rolled your eyes. “Anyway, I can call them and pretend that it’s me experiencing problems.”
“You will not do such a thing,” Buck pointed his finger at you, sternly. “I can start following the manual, fine, but I will not call any hotline. And you will not either.”
“Okay, okay…” You rolled your eyes again at him. “But you’re so stubborn sometimes.”
“I’m the father of this baby and I will build that crib myself,” he told you.
“Alright, but I don’t mind calling the hotline, just so you know. It won’t change anything for me and I won’t tell anyone about it if it’s so important to you,” you assured your husband.
“It is important to me and it will change everything for me,” he stated.
That night before sleep, instead of reading a book, Buck was analysing the manual.
Tumblr media
After breakfast you both went back to the nursery. You sat in the armchair with the manual book in your hands and watched Gale gather all the scattered screws to put them back in one place.
“Now, I will read the steps and you will do what I tell you, yes?” You asked for confirmation of the plan you two had for this special task.
“Yes, sir,” he nodded playfully and you chuckled at him.
With your help – and the pictures in the manual – fifteen minutes later the crib seemed to be already assembled. You stood up to examine it but it was stable and balanced properly. You showed Buck where you wanted it to stand and he moved it to that very spot as he stared at his creation proudly.
“You see? No hotline was needed,” he told you and put his hands on his hips.
“No, no hotline,” you approached him and put your arms around him to hug him tight. “Just listening to your wife, hm?”
“Yeah,” Buck chuckled and kissed the top of your head, “just listening to my wife.”

One. Worth Sticking Around For
↪︎ a Stranger Things/The Girl Next Door AU
Steve Harrington ✗ f!Reader
➺ w.c. 4.4k words ➺ tags/warning(s). no use of y/n, reader character uses she/her pronouns, sexual themes, nudity, skinny dipping, Steve's a lil bit of a perv ➺ a/n. I had this thought a couple weeks ago about writing a Girl Next Door AU with Steve and it was just too perfect to pass up despite my other ongoing wips. The plot isn't going to follow the movie exactly, but the main theme will be the same. Comments and reblogs are greatly appreciated! 💚
When the most beautiful girl Steve's ever seen starts staying at his neighbor's house, he'd do anything to get to know her, even make a fool of himself for her.
[ masterlist]
Tumblr media
“I’m tellin’ you, Robin, I’m getting really tired of it,” Steve exclaimed as he drove her home after their shift at Family Video.
“Oh yeah, must be tough going on so many dates with sooo many beautiful women,” Robin scoffed, throwing him a wry look.
“Yeah, I mean, my sex life has never been better, but it’s like, maybe I want more than just sex, you know?” Steve continued as if he hadn’t heard her, gesturing animatedly with one hand while the other gripped the steering wheel.
Robin lifted an eyebrow at him.  “You’re making it real hard to feel sorry for you,” she retorted dryly and Steve returned her flat stare with his own.
“I just wanna meet a girl that I genuinely like being around, I mean, in addition to having great sex with,” he added and Robin laughed.
“Maybe stop having sex on the first date then, Dingus,” she pointed out.
“Yeah yeah,” Steve muttered, knowing she had a point.  After his dry spell the year before, he’d been trying to make up for all the action he’d missed out on, but now… now he was starting to feel empty.  He wanted something meaningful.
Dropping Robin off, Steve headed home, turning onto the quiet street he’d lived all his life and pulled into the empty drive–his parents off on some business trip, leaving him the house all to himself.
Pushing open his car door, he noticed an unfamiliar car parked next door and frowned.  The older woman who lived there didn’t often have visitors.  Heading inside, he forgot about the car when his stomach began to rumble.  Not bothering to change out of his work uniform, he threw some food in the oven and went about taking the trash out.
As he dragged the heavy black plastic bag down the drive, a sound caught his attention and he turned to find one of the most beautiful girls he’d ever seen pulling a suitcase and garment bag out of the car in his neighbor’s driveway.  Steve’s breath caught and he gaped at her, letting his gaze linger a little too long on her backside and he let out a surprised yelp as he ran right into the trash can at the end of the driveway.
Nearly tripping and sprawling atop the overturned can, he quickly straightened before fumbling to right the can and get the bag inside it with a loud clatter.  Glancing up hastily to see if she’d noticed, he winced when he found her watching him, an amused grin on her lips before she turned away and headed back inside, leaving Steve feeling like a giant fool.
Glancing down at himself, he finally realized he was still in his work vest and let out a sigh.  No doubt he’d just blown his chance at a suave first impression and he muttered to himself as he reluctantly headed back inside, dragging his feet sullenly.
Shrugging off his work vest, he wadded it into a ball and tossed it at the stairs, leaving it lay where it landed before climbing to his room and flopping down onto his bed, reaching for the cordless phone on his bed stand while he waited for his food to cook.
“Y’ello?” Tommy Hagan answered on the third ring and Steve turned his head so his voice wouldn’t be muffled by his pillow.
“Hey Tommy, it’s Steve.”
“Harrington, my man, how’s it hangin’?” Tommy exclaimed and Steve let out a weary sigh.
“So, check it out, there’s this girl staying at my neighbor’s, one of the hottest chicks I’ve ever seen, right?  I mean, she was unbelievable–like an angel, and her smile–” he trailed off with a sigh before shaking his head angrily.  “I haven’t even talked to her yet and I already blew it!” he groaned, running his hand down his face.
“How’d you manage that?” Tommy asked, his voice laced with amusement.
“I was taking the trash out and there she was, bending over to get something out of her car and what do I do?  I trip over the goddamn trash can!  I mean, I’m only human, what am I supposed to do, not look?”
Tommy’s raucous laughter filled his ear and he cringed.
“What’d she do?” he asked once he caught his breath.
“She turned and looked at me and then went back inside,” Steve groaned.  “Oh, oh!  And the worst part!  That’s when I realized I was still wearing my damn work vest.”
“She probably thinks you’re a loser, man,” Tommy pointed out and Steve let out a heavy sigh, lifting his hand from his face.
“Don’t remind me,” he grumbled.
It was probably karma for him complaining earlier about wanting more than sex.  Watch, now he’d probably go back to not being able to score at all.
Letting his eyes regain focus, he looked out his window and stiffened.  Next door, a light flicked on in the second floor window across from his, and the girl he’d just been telling Tommy about came into view.  Completely oblivious that he could see her, she began to undress, pulling her shirt over her head, revealing a red lacy bra that hugged her breasts perfectly, pushing them up and together.
“Oh shit–” he breathed, forgetting for the moment that he still had the phone to his ear until Tommy replied in confusion.
“What?  S’goin’ on?”
Steve pushed himself up from the bed and moved closer to the window as she reached behind her back to unclasp the bra, letting it slide slowly down before tossing it aside, her back still to him as she slipped her jeans down, her red panties matching her bra.
“I can see her through the window, she’s undressing,” Steve whispered, his mouth going dry, hoping she’d turn so he could get a better view.
He may have matured in the year since he’d graduated, but he was still a guy after all.
“Holy shit, lucky bastard.  How’s her rack?”
Steve barely heard Tommy over the rush of blood in his ears and he held his breath as she finally turned toward the window.  For one blessed moment he had a perfect view of her chest and he let out a low whistle, admiring her tits and wondering how nice they’d feel in his hands.
It was when his gaze flicked back up to her face, his eyes finding hers staring right back, that panic flooded him and he dropped the phone in his haste to duck below the window and out of sight.  Steve could faintly hear Tommy demanding to know what was happening, but he ignored the phone, slowly pulling himself up just enough to peer through the bottom of the window to see if she’d truly noticed him or not, only to grimace as she quickly pulled a sweatshirt on over her head and shut off the light as she strode out of the room.
“Shit,” Steve hissed, finally picking the phone back up and bringing it reluctantly to his ear.  “I think she saw me.”
Tommy let out a loud snort.  “Good job, man.  Now you’re definitely screwed.”
“Yeah, don’t remind me,” Steve grumbled, hearing the timer on the oven go off downstairs.  “My food’s ready, I’ll talk to you later,” he muttered, cursing his luck.  It was definitely karma coming back to bite him.
“Okay, later.  Keep me posted,” Tommy said and Steve hung up the phone to bound down the stairs and retrieve his pizza before it burned.  Almost as soon as he opened the oven door and pulled the pan out, the doorbell rang.
“Who the hell could that be?” Steve muttered under his breath, dropping the pizza atop the stove and turning off the oven to get the door.
Taking a moment to peer through the peephole before pulling the door open, Steve’s mouth fell open in shock at the sight of the mysterious girl from next door standing on his doorstep–the last person he’d expected to see.
Working moisture back into his suddenly dry mouth, he squashed down the surge of worry that she was only there to tell him off for being a perv, and opened the door.  Leaning nonchalantly against the door frame, he flashed her his most charming smile and ran a hand through his hair to wrangle it, bringing her attention to his best asset, hoping for a second chance at a better first impression.
“Hey there, we haven’t been properly introduced, I’m Steve Harrington,” he drawled, offering his hand.
Tumblr media
The drive from Indianapolis to Hawkins was longer than you’d expected and when you pulled into your aunt’s empty drive, all you wanted to do was stretch your legs and collapse into bed, but you knew if you did that then you wouldn’t be able to make yourself get back up and you still had to finish unpacking your car before you could allow yourself the sweet embrace of sleep.
The spare key was exactly where your aunt had said it would be and you let yourself in, deciding to make another trip to grab the rest of your luggage.  It had been such a long time since you’d last visited, it took you a moment to remember the layout of the spacious house.  You didn’t understand why your aunt hadn’t downsized yet, especially since it was just her all alone in the big house, but you weren’t complaining about the extra space, especially since she’d offered you one of her spare rooms til you could afford your own place.
Dropping your backpack on the bed, you returned to your car for the rest of your stuff, aware of the noise coming from the neighbor’s driveway.  You barely paid attention to the young man dragging his trash out to the road as you bent over to grab your suitcase and garment bag from the backseat.
As you straightened, the loud clatter of trash cans falling over made you turn and you had to bite back the laugh that nearly sprang to your lips as the neighbor nearly fell head over heels in his distraction, his eyes quickly tearing away from you as he fought to right himself.
For a long moment, you watched him, smiling to yourself before turning back toward the house. Despite making a fool of himself, he was rather handsome and looked to be about your age.  For a second, you deliberated going back to introduce yourself, but the way your stomach grumbled reminded you that you’d barely eaten anything other than junk food all day and the call of finding sustenance was too great to ignore.  Besides, the poor guy’d just suffered enough humiliation, you didn’t wanna add to that at the moment.
Dragging the rest of your stuff up to your room, you flicked the light on as the sun began to dip below the horizon, and pulled out something a little more comfortable to put on, stripping your t-shirt over your head and unhooking your bra.  Tossing the garment away, you stretched your arms above your head, working the kink out of your back before turning to grab the sweatshirt you’d just laid out.
Glancing up to the window, you realized you could see into the room directly across from yours in the house next door, and your heart leapt into your throat as you locked eyes with the young man you’d just encountered in the driveway, watching as he hastily ducked out of sight, knowing you’d caught him staring.
Clenching your jaw, you yanked your sweatshirt on and stormed out of the room and down the stairs, ready to give the pervert a piece of your mind.  When he answered his front door, however, you faltered for a moment at his confident greeting, as if he hadn’t just been caught watching you undress.
“Hey there, we haven’t been properly introduced, I’m Steve Harrington,” he drawled.
Your brows rose slightly as you stared at his outstretched hand.  So he wanted to pretend like nothing had happened, huh?  Well, two could play at that, you thought, contenting yourself with waiting for the opportune moment to bring it up and catch him off guard.
Taking his hand, you introduced yourself, taking a moment to get a proper look at him.
He was definitely cute, despite spying on you.  Maybe your stay in Hawkins wouldn’t be so dull after all, provided Steve Harrington didn’t turn out to be a total creep.
“I’m pretty sure I definitely would’ve remembered if we’d met before,” Steve said, releasing your hand, though his warmth lingered on your palm.  “So uh, what’re you doing next door?” he asked, looking you up and down discreetly.
“It’s my aunt’s place.  She’s out of town right now, but she said I could stay for a bit til I get back on my feet.  I just quit my job,” you explained, hoping he wouldn’t ask too many questions about your former profession.
“Oh, bummer.  About your job, I mean!  Not that you’re here,” Steve added quickly, making you laugh.
“It’s okay, I was ready for a change,” you said, shrugging, shifting your weight.  “Guess that officially makes us neighbors then.”
Steve nodded, grinning.  “Guess it does,” he mused, his voice trailing off as if he were lost in thought.
“You gunna invite me in, or make me stand here all night?” you prompted, raising an amused brow at him and Steve shook himself.
“You hungry?  I just pulled a frozen pizza out of the oven,” he offered, gesturing over his shoulder and your stomach chose that moment to remind you how hungry you still were.
“Sounds perfect,” you replied, hoping Steve hadn’t heard your stomach’s impatient rumble.  “You live here alone?” you asked, letting your eyes wander as you followed him in, Steve leading you to the kitchen.
“Nah, with my parents,” he answered with a grimace.  “But dad’s on a business trip and mom went with,” he explained, rifling through one of the drawers for a pizza cutter.
“That’s nice,” you mused, opening the fridge to peer inside curiously.
“Not really,” Steve muttered, turning to pull a couple plates from the cupboard and hand you one.  “Mom’s only there cause she doesn't trust him.”
“Ohh, I see,” you murmured and Steve let out a heavy sigh, divvying up the pizza slices onto your plates.
“I don’t wanna be anything like him,” he said quietly and you wondered if he’d meant for you to hear or not, hastily clearing his throat and moving on from the subject.  “You want a beer?”
“Yeah, alright,” you replied, accepting the cold can he passed you from the fridge.
“C’mon, let’s eat by the pool,” Steve suggested, leading you through the large open living room and out the sliding glass door to the stone paved patio.
His parents were clearly loaded, but earlier you’d noticed him wearing a Family Video vest, so either daddy’d cut him off, or he didn’t want his family’s money, and you briefly wondered which was the case.
Steve pulled a couple lounge chairs next to each other and gestured for you to sit, sprawling out next to you.  “So, how long do you plan on staying in Hawkins?” he asked, taking a bite of his pizza and cracking his beer open one handed.
Leaning back in your seat, you chewed your pizza thoughtfully.  “I’m not sure, honestly,” you mused, washing down your pizza with a swig of beer.  “Guess it depends if there’s anything here worth sticking around for.”
When your eyes flicked back to Steve, you watched him swallow, his own gaze quickly darting away.  “I could show you around, y’know, if you want,” he offered, his shoulder lifting in a half shrug, aiming for nonchalance and your lips twitched.
“I’d like that,” you said, picking one of the pepperonis from your pizza slice and popping it in your mouth, sucking the sheen of grease from your fingers.
When you once again caught Steve staring, his beer can half raised to his lips, hovering midair as if he’d forgotten how to drink, you decided it was time to go for the kill.
“I’m starting to think you have a staring problem, Steve Harrington.”
At your words, Steve gave a jerk, spluttering into his can in alarm and you had to bite back a grin at his reaction.
“What do you mean?” he exclaimed, thumping his chest with a fist as he coughed.
“Well, there was that time in the driveway, just now, and… when you watched me undress through your window,” you said, cocking an eyebrow at him.  “Did you get a nice show?” you asked and Steve’s brown eyes widened, his mouth falling open before stumbling over a hasty apology.
“I-I only saw for like an instant!” he argued, holding his hands up.  “It was no big deal, really.”
“No big deal?” you repeated, scoffing quietly and Steve hastily backpedaled, wincing at the offended look on your face.
“I mean, not like that.  You looked great, but I–I didn’t–!  Look, I’m sorry,” he insisted, chancing an apologetic glance at you and your expression softened for an instant before turning impish.
“So, what are we gunna do about this?” you mused, giving him a pointed look, your eyes sparkling with mischief.
“What do you mean?  Can’t you just accept my apology?” Steve asked warily, a frown tugging at his lips.
“You saw me.  I think it’s only fair that we even the score,” you insisted, leaning back in your chair, watching him expectantly.
“You really expect me to strip right here?” he scoffed, an incredulous note to his voice.
“You got a little show, now it’s my turn, pretty boy.  It’s only fair,” you pointed out, your lips turning down in a pout.  “Are you shy?” you mocked and Steve rolled his eyes.
“Alright, fine,” he replied, pushing up from his seat and pulling his sweater over his head, tossing it at you before toeing off his shoes and undoing his jeans, dropping them to stand before you in his underwear and socks, heat licking up his neck at the way you stared, your gaze traveling over him appraisingly.
“Not bad, but I think you’re forgetting something,” you said, your lips twitching in amusement.  “I want the whole package,” you insisted, pointing to his crotch and Steve’s face flared hotter. “C’mon, I think that’s enough,” he argued halfheartedly, but your sharp look held him in place.
“Fine, guess I’ll just go home then,” you said with a shrug, making to push out of your chair.  “It was nice meeting you, Steve–”
“Wait–!” he exclaimed, and you paused, turning back to look at him.  “Alright fine,” he huffed, hooking his thumbs under the waistband of his underwear and pulling them down, letting them pool at his ankles.
“You happy now?” he asked, throwing his hands up and you bit your lip as your eyes went to his package.  He was definitely well endowed.
“Yep,” you replied, playfully popping the p, your eyes returning to his.  “You know, you’re lucky your back yard is pretty secluded,” you pointed out and he snorted, standing there awkwardly, while trying not to look awkward.
“How long do I have to stand here like this?” Steve asked and you tapped your lip, pretending to think.
“I guess that’s long enough.  But before you get dressed…” you trailed off, standing up and walking closer to him, noticing the way his eyes widened and his breath hitched, wondering what you were about to do.  “Let’s go for a dip,” you finished, giving him a shove into the pool, laughing as he hit the water and came up spluttering, shaking his hair out of his face.
“What was that for–?”
Steve’s exclamation died on his tongue when he noticed you were stripping as well and he didn’t know whether to turn away or if you wanted him to look this time, though you didn’t give him much of a chance, diving into the water as soon as you dropped your clothes to the ground.
When you surfaced, you wiped the water from your face and grinned as you swam toward Steve.
“So are we even now?” he asked, a smile of his own curving his lips and you laughed.
“Yeah, I’d say so.  For now.”
“What is that supposed to mean?” Steve retorted, his eyebrows climbing.
“I mean, I’m just assuming you’ll do something stupid again,” you laughed, pushing a wave of water at him playfully.
Steve splashed you back with a smirk.  “Yeah, you’re probably right about that,” he agreed.  “So what else do you do for fun, y’know, besides torturing people?” he teased.
You couldn’t help but study him for a moment–the square curve of his jaw, his chestnut hair stuck wetly to his forehead and the dark moles that littered his neck and shoulders.  There were two on his cheek in the perfect spot for kissing.
“I uhm, I like photography and dancing, going to the movies or skating, and swimming,” you answered, huffing a soft laugh.  “Though I should probably start job searching soon,” you sighed.
“What was your old job?” Steve asked and you dropped your gaze, wondering if you should just rip off the band aid and tell him.  But you liked him, and you liked the way he looked at you… If you told him the truth it would make things weird, it always did.
Would it be so bad if he didn’t know?
You could make a fresh start in Hawkins.  No one knew your face.  There’d be no more awkward stares or lewd come-ons, just a sweet guy that seemed to like you for you and who hadn’t taken advantage of the fact that you were both naked in his pool.  Maybe for once you could just feel normal.
“It was dumb, I’m just glad I quit,” you murmured, avoiding giving him a real answer.  “I wanna make a fresh start, maybe go to college, I dunno yet.”
Steve nodded, sobering as he watched you tread water, bobbing in place, carefully keeping his eyes on your face.  “So… do you have a boyfriend?” he asked, floating closer, and you dipped below the water slightly to hide the giddy smile that tugged at your lips.
“No.  Do you have a girlfriend?” you asked, biting your lip when a dazed grin spread across Steve’s face.
“Nope,” he chuckled.  “I’d like one, though.”
“Mmm,” you mused, scrunching up your brow in thought.  “Yeah, I think you do need one,” you teased, kicking your feet lazily as you tilted your head.  “But what kind?”
“Well, for starters, someone cute, and sweet, and clever–” Steve began to list, his gaze never leaving your face as he continued to describe you.  “Definitely someone spontaneous and fun, but down to earth too, who’s not afraid to call me on my bullshit.”
You hadn’t noticed when you’d moved closer to him, your chest only inches from his, and your breath hitched at the realization, warmth spreading through you.
“She sounds pretty fantastic,” you breathed, trying to keep your voice light, Steve’s smile making you dizzy.
“Yeah, she definitely is,” he replied, his hands skimming your sides.  “Any idea where I might be able to find her?”
Unable to make your voice work, you felt yourself lean in, your gaze flicking from Steve’s lips to his eyes, breathlessly waiting for his lips to claim yours as he grasped your hips, holding you close, his eyelids fluttering as his nose brushed against yours.
A loud rustling in the bushes nearby made you freeze, however, ice racing through your veins, and Steve jerked back at the same time you did, suddenly afraid the two of you weren’t alone, only to jump as a rabbit burst from the underbrush at the edge of the property to race across the yard and you threw your head back and laughed at the yelp that left Steve’s throat.
“Oh my God, you were so scared!” you exclaimed, your laughter continuing despite the splash Steve directed at you.
“So were you!” he countered, an incredulous grin twisting his relieved expression.
“Yeah, but I didn’t scream like a girl,” you pointed out, letting out a scream of your own as he swam after you, catching you easily round the waist and a wave of arousal washed over you when you felt his length brush against the curve of your ass and give a twitch.
Steve cleared his throat, hastily releasing you before either of you could become tempted to do more.  And while part of you wished he hadn’t, you were glad he didn’t want to move too fast.
“I’ll uh, I’ll get you a towel, okay?” Steve said, and you caught the pink flush that suffused his cheeks before he swam to the edge of the pool and climbed out.
Averting your eyes for a moment, you couldn’t help but watch as he walked away, admiring his cute ass before he disappeared back inside the house.  When he returned, a fluffy towel wrapped around his waist and another in his hands, you gave him a pointed look and he huffed a soft laugh, squeezing his eyes shut as he held the towel open for you, not peeking til you were covered.
“I don’t see what the big fuss is about, you’ve already seen all of me,” he teased, his warm voice drenched in playful sarcasm.
“And it was a very nice sight,” you purred, smirking at him and patting his cheek as you passed, bending to pick up your clothes.  “Walk me home?” you asked, glancing back at him over your shoulder.
“Yes, ma’am,” he chuckled, shaking his head fondly, and the two of you walked around to the front of your aunt’s house.
“Thanks for the pizza and the swim,” you murmured, stopping in front of the door.
“It was my pleasure,” Steve replied, stepping closer, his damp hair falling into his eyes before he pushed it away.
“You know you owe me a real date now, right?” you asked, wetting your lips, and Steve’s grin grew.
“How about tomorrow night?”
“I think I can fit that into my schedule,” you teased, leaning in to press a kiss to his warm cheek, wanting to leave him wanting more.  “Good night, Steve.”
“Good night,” he echoed softly, watching you disappear inside before finally heading back home, his stomach fluttering excitedly, the same as yours.

Chapter 1 Chapter 3

In the couple of weeks following your ‘practical demonstration’ for Alastor, all confidence you had in the glow of a mind blowing orgasm had bled from you- you had a few packages from VoxTech sitting unopened under your bed where you couldn’t see them or think about how hastily you had purchased them. You avoided being near Alastor when you could, eyes glued to the floor and face a matching accessory to his coat when you couldn’t escape or offer up a satisfactory excuse to leave the situation.
He hadn’t asked anything of you since that night, thankfully. He seemed content to watch you blush and stammer and make eye contact with anything but himself, sometimes going out of his way to corner you by yourself and ask you how you were, how your research for Velvette was going, how you were sleeping at night; shit-eating grin always present and growing with every stuttered syllable you uttered. But he never mentioned that night, no inquiries about the rose toy or the others that he had spotted in your nightstand, despite his mention of being thorough about the various pieces of ‘technology’ you had in your possession.
You were mortified, honestly, at how thoroughly you had misjudged the situation. Having thought that the Radio Demon was interested beyond his own self-proclaimed desire to know about the strange device was a hard hit to your self esteem, and a large part of why you were so determined to not be anywhere alone with him anymore. You couldn’t stand that kind of embarrassment again.
“What do we have here?” Sitting at the bar while Husk poured you a drink, your phone is suddenly snatched out of your hands. “Ohhhh, ya got a date tonight, huh?” Using one pair of hands to hold you back, he uses the other to quickly swipe through some of your messages with Velvette.
Despite your constant denial at wanting to meet anybody, Velvette had set you up with one of her models for a blind date. They were perfectly adequate, she had said, nothing like any of Val’s whores- you could see the way that Angel’s nose flared a bit when he saw that message- but hot, and it was the least she could do for all you’d done for her and for her shoots.
(You were glad she at least had the sense to leave mention of your deal out of it, probably knowing how nosy Angel was and not wanting anything to get back to Val in passing.)
Husk manages to get the phone from Angel as he pulls up the photo of the model, and his exaggerated wolf whistle in your ear has your cheeks flaming. The cat gives your phone back to you while Angel hoots and calls for a couple shots for the two of you. “Babe, if I’d known ya were on the market I could have hooked ya up but I gotta say, Velvette’s got some good taste for you!”
You roll your eyes. “I’m not ‘on the market,’” you tell him, “she just won’t take no for an answer. I’m meeting them for dinner this one time only, and-“
Husk drops a drink in front of you. “What’s the hold up?” He asks. “Why are you so against going out again? What if you two really hit it off?” He glances at Angel. “Sometimes it takes a time or two to really know someone and if you’re a good fit.”
Angel rolls his eyes. “Come on, sourpuss, you can just say you like me!” He tries to ruffle a hand into Husk’s fur, but the former bats him away. “Anyway, she’s already got the hots for someone- but if she's waiting for him though she might as well sow some oats if ya get my drift.” He winks at you, making a lewd gesture with his hands before you can huff and turn away.
You down your drink in one go, Angel cheering you on, before announcing that you had to go get ready. Declining Angel’s offer to scour his room for something sexy, you just head to your own.
Maybe he had been right though- after what happened with Alastor it was clear that he wasn’t as interested as you had assumed. Maybe going on a date with someone else would be good for you, help you get your mind off the Radio Demon and stop indulging in some pointless little crush that was just going to end with you getting your stupid feelings hurt. You supposed if this date went well there wasn’t any harm in planning for another one. As you opened the door to your room, you took another look at the picture of the model that Velvette had sent you. They really weren’t bad looking-
“Good evening!” Bringing your eyes up from your phone, Alastor is standing just inside the doorway of your room. While it’s no secret how he got in- ‘melting into the shadows’ isn’t a method of transportation you would assume to be hindered by doors- you wish you had some sort of warning before essentially walking into him. There’s a brief stumble before he places his hands on you, one under your own and the other on the small of your back as he rights you. “My apologies for the startle, dear, it seems I’ve given you a fright!”
“No problem,” you tell him, trying to take a step back and realizing he’s not yet released you. “It’s my bad, I should have knocked.”
“On your own door?”
You flush. “Right, yeah.” You notice now how close you are to him, your bodies mere inches apart and one of his hands still protectively placed on your spine. “Either way, no harm done.”
He makes an affirmative noise before releasing you, and you kick the door closed as you step away from him to the closet. You pull some items from their hangers, tossing them onto the bed, and you can feel his crimson gaze on you as you move and try to decide what to wear for this dumb date. You take a deep breath before finally asking, “something that I can help you with?”
“Assuredly so!” Looking down at the pile of clothes you had amassed, you didn’t realize he had re-materialized next to you, and his voice so close to your ear was a shock. You trip over a skirt on the ground that had slid off the bed, landing hard on the ground as you stare up at Alastor. He holds out a hand to help you up which you gratefully take, allowing him to pull you to standing.
He doesn’t release your hand, instead tugging you closer to him so your bodies are pressed against one another, closer than they had been when you nearly collided. “It’s in regards to our deal,” he says quietly, the whisper of his breath ghosting across your heated cheeks. He’s so close that you can smell his cologne, something woodsy and dark and so Alastor that your mouth nearly waters.
“I have a date tonight,” is what you blurt out, your own voice a mere wisp in the space between the two of you.
He’s released you again and taken a couple steps back to sit on your bed. “Cancel it,” he says, and one of his shadows brings forth one of the VoxTech boxes from under your bed. “Terrible manners, of course, I do apologize for placing you in such an awkward position. But I’m afraid this simply cannot wait- you’ve quite the collection here, my dear, and we’ll need to start right away if we wish to proceed in a timely manner.”
Your head is spinning from how quickly he’s moved away from you again, and how quickly your night has taken a turn. “Right,” you say dazedly. “I guess I can, reschedule or something.” It wasn’t like you had really wanted to go anyway.
One of his eyes seems to twitch a bit. “Lovely,” he says, and crosses his legs at the knee. He pats the bed next to himself and gestures to the box he had placed there. “Whenever you’re ready.”
You couldn’t even remember what you had ordered as you shot off a text to Velvette- something came up, say sorry for me- and took the box in your hands, placing your phone on the stand next to you. You can’t look Alastor in the eyes as you manage to get it open and see what it was- a remote control vibrator, one that curves in such a way that it can stimulate the bundles of nerves both inside and outside the body. The remote is a tiny thing, an ‘on/off’ switch and two buttons for the different sections of the thing so you can have varying speeds on either spot.
“Interesting,” Alastor says, and inspects the toy where you hold it in your hands. “I assume an item such as this works in a similar manner to the one from last time?”
You nod, not sure if you’re hoping he will leave it at that or ask for another demonstration of the thing. “It’s very similar. Both ends vibrate rather than the, uh, suction on the last one.”
“I see,” he says, fingers steepled under his chin. “And is that more preferable to the suction?”
You take a deep breath. “It varies from person to person,” you say.
“What do you prefer?”
In the span of a blink he’s in your personal space, his smile light and curious. “God, uh, I’m not sure,” you babble, intoxicated again by the smell of him. “The last, um, demonstration was the first time I’ve used anything with suction. But other people-“
“Quite frankly, my dear, I don’t give a fuck about other people.” The shock of hearing Alastor swear has you sucking in a sharp breath as he comes ever closer. His smile has taken on a dangerous edge, his eyes dark and lethal as they look you over. “My deal is with you- I wish to learn about the technology itself, of course, but how others use the things are of no concern to me. My concern is you, and how you are using devices made by my enemies.” His voice cracks around the static of the last word.
And fuck, if you hadn’t been aroused already, that would have sent you the rest of the way there on a bullet train. The single-minded focus in his gaze as he watched you was making you dizzy, your hands trembling slightly as you held the vibrator, remote discarded back into the box.
“Right,” you say, instead of burying your face in the too-close junction between his chin and shoulder. “I guess I should…” you trail off, nodding vaguely at the object in your hands, and Alastor gives you a tight smile before leaning back out of your space to let you get to it.
Like last time, you don’t make eye contact as you remove your bottoms and lean back against the pillows. You’re aroused enough that you don’t need to use any additional lubrication, so you clench your eyes shut as you slide the long end of the vibrator into yourself, taking a moment to breathe and adjust as you do so. It settles into place, the opposite end curved in a way that it can rest gently against your clit, and you feel blindly for the box to get the remote out to turn it on.
“What a curious thing,” you hear Alastor say, and when you open your eyes he has the remote in his hands, rotating it to get a look from all angles. Your heart jumps into your throat as the implication, the possibility of his fingers pressing the buttons for you, out of your control. “Have you any idea why the remote is external from the device rather than part of it, like the other one was?”
You struggle to get your breathing under control. “I think it’s so you can have a… a partner or someone with you,” you tell him, earning you a raised eyebrow. “Some people really like the, you know, the idea of someone else being in charge of their pleasure.”
You could burst into flames with the heat of his gaze. He leans closer to you, one hand again coming to rest on your thigh like it had last time. “And what about you, darling? Is that something that interests you?” His grip on the remote is light in his free hand, easy enough to relinquish should you ask him to hand it over. But…
“I might enjoy it,” you whisper, “with the right partner.” You nod to the remote in his hand. “Sometimes a hands-on approach is needed to get more information.”
His smile is interrupted only by his exhale of breath before he presses the button to turn the device on, and your eyes slam shut as the sensations take over. In your quest to fist your fingers in the sheets you knock over the box that it came in, but you pay it no mind as Alastor toys with you, pressing the buttons for either end of the vibrator in a pattern that makes sense only to him, and that you can’t keep track of.
Not that you want to. You’re already so in your head about the situation, not just another ‘demonstration’ but something that Alastor was actively participating in with that remote in his hand. It’s making you lightheaded with how turned on your are, and you nearly miss the next question he asks you from being so focused on your body.
“How intriguing,” he’s said, and you pry your eyes open to see what looks like a sleep mask dangling from a tendril of shadow. “What is this for?”
“Some people- fuck -“ you interrupt yourself as he ratchets the vibrations a couple levels. Your breath is coming in short bursts as you fight to keep a clear head. “Some people like to have their, fuck, their eyes covered so they can’t see, what the other person is doing. I’ve never seen the appeal,” you add, anticipating his next question.
He hums lightly to himself. “Are you quite sure? You do so frequently close your eyes in the throes of pleasure,” he says with a teasing lilt. “You don’t think that you would enjoy it?”
You shake your head on the pillow, your hair splayed out in a halo beneath you. “I don’t, God, I don’t know,” you mumble, and you hear his dark laughter before the lights in the room all snap off at once.
Your heart stutters in your chest. You can’t see him, can’t see anything, and his comforting weight no longer seems to be perched on the edge of the bed. Were it not for the vibrator still buzzing inside you and kicking up another level, you might have thought he had left. You moan into the darkness, desperate for some sign that he was still with you, and are graced with his sharp claws dancing across your collarbone. Your eyes clench shut despite not being able to see anyway, in an effort to control yourself.
“What do you think, hm?” His touch vanishes only to reappear in the form of fingers brushing a couple errant strands of hair from your face. “Can you see the appeal now?” Again, his point of contact with you is gone.
“Not knowing where I am.” His voice comes from the opposite side of the bed, and you turn towards it with a gasp.
Then from the foot of the bed- “Not able to see what I’m doing.” There’s a rustle of clothing- surely not his own , you think deliriously- before he’s back in your ear.
“Not able to guess where I’ll touch you next.” His breath is hot against your ear and the vibrator has sped up again, a new pattern that has you letting loose a stream of curses as your hips move, chasing the feeling. One of his hands comes to rest on your hipbone, claws sinking just so into your flesh where he grips you. It takes a moment to realize he’s asked a question.
“What?”
“You must pay attention, darling, this is quite important.” He’s turned off whatever allows his voice to take on the radio quality. “I recognize that this has progressed beyond the means of a typical demonstration, so I must have your explicit consent. May I have your permission to touch you?”
“God, yes,” you groan, body tight with tension while you wait for his hands on you. They start where you don’t expect them, one placed lightly on the underside of your thigh and the other slowly starting to drift down your leg towards your upper body. He switches between his skin and his claws, swapping them out as he maps imaginary paths on your skin and across your navel, barely scratching you but the implication is there.
“So responsive,” he mutters. “Tell me- do you think your date tonight could have brought you to such a state?”
Your what ?
Oh god, your blind date. Your eyes fly open to the nightstand where your phone is buzzing with missed calls and texts from Velvette. You had told her to apologize with no explanation, she might have been worried about you. You should really-
“Eyes on me, dear.” Somehow you’ve forgotten about the vibrator still buzzing happily inside you, so focused on Alastor’s hands on you that it slipped your mind until now- he’s kicked it up to the highest level yet, the feeling forcing a cry out of your mouth as your back arches. “And I believe I asked you a question.”
“Fuck,” you force out when you catch his gaze. His eyes are glowing, the only light available in the darkness, illuminating the dangerous curve of his smile as he looks down at you. “I don’t- I don’t know,” you get out, struggling to focus. You can feel the orgasm building, so much more intense than it had been last time, and he was right here with you, helping you through it .
“Come now,” he tuts at you, “that’s not very fair to your date. Have you no faith in them?”
“I barely know their name,” you groan out, the tension building, and you don’t miss the way his eyes narrow. You can’t stop your mouth from moving, despite your brain screaming at you to shut the fuck up before you say something stupid. “Something- something Velvette did- and fuck I didn’t even want them, I want - Alastor- ”
The tension breaks, your body tensing hard as you hit your release, his name falling out on a moan without permission from your brain. You’re distantly mortified at the thought of doing that a second time but you can’t focus on much else but the way that the pleasure in you is overtaking everything.
There’s a snarl and the sound of fabric ripping, the glow of Alastor’s eyes disappearing as you hit your peak. After a few brief moments of overstimulation the vibrations stop, and the lights come back on, Alastor’s shadows fading from the lamps.
He stands across the room, the remote for the vibrator placed on your desk. “Quite illuminating,” he says, and with the lights on you can see the thin sheen of sweat across his forehead, the way that his fists are clenched at his sides without his cane in them. He seems to be at a loss for words, something you’ve never seen before. He closes his eyes, swallows hard and gestures to your bed where you still rest on it. “I’ll be sure to send for a replacement as soon as I can.”
Following his gesture, you see the deep claw marks in the bed at your side, torn straight through the duvet and sheets and straight into the mattress. There are feathers and bits of thread and fabric still floating in the air from the force with which he had apparently dragged his talons across and into the bed.
Your brows furrow as you look back at him. “How-”
“I’m not sure a ‘hand-on approach’ is something that I can be part of going forward,” he says tightly.
Your heart thuds painfully in your chest as you watch him, sure that this will be the end of it. You’ll go back to normal demonstrations of normal technology and largely being vaguely cordial with one another- the way you have been since you made the deal. It used to be enough, but you’ve had this taste now of something more, of him , and you’re not sure that you can go back to how it used to be.
“Darling.” At the sound of his voice you look back up at him, eyes glowing and his smile strained. “I’m sure that you understand this is for your own safety.” He glances at the gash across the bedsheets. “I had assumed that I was more in control of my own emotions. Clearly I am not- I will not risk the next thing I shred in a moment of weakness being your flesh.”
Leaning to sit up from the bed you wince at the shape of the vibrator still inside you. Blush staining your cheeks you remove it, pulling on your bottoms from the floor as you try to approach him. “Alastor, wait,” you say, but before you can reach out to grab his arm he’s re-materialized by the door.
The upturn of his lips now is forlorn as he watches you. “I believe it best that we go back to our initial arrangement,” he says. “I shall let you know when or if I need any further demonstrations.” With that he fades into the floor, the lights flickering as he vanishes.
With a cry of frustration you grab the remote off the desk and chuck it at the wall, where it splinters into little plastic pieces.

A.P: The receipt
A/N: I’m discovering a new found obsession with Alexia so I’m gonna write a set of imagines with her too. Always read the first two imagines of each girl to understand the context of their relation.
Triggers: nothing, google translate Spanish.
I was casually placing up the newest curtains that we got in this morning. It felt so peaceful to work in an interior design store. I got to spend time walking around touching soft materials, looking at new bedsheet covers and blankets. I got to talk to so many new people within one day. It was the perfect job for me. It was Monday morning, and the awaited new items were coming in a bit late. I was struggling with the big boxes being everywhere in the litte shop, but I loved seeing what things were in trend and what had just arrived. A hand tapped by shoulder leaving me terrified as I was busy daydreaming about what my future appartment was gonna look like. I turned around and it was the sweetest old man. “Good morning, is there anything I could do to assist you today?” I said as I smiled while climbing down from the little latter I was using to hang the curtains.
“Good morning Miss, actually yes, my wife is celebrating her 90th birthday this week and I want to get her something special.” The old man replied as he smiled. I nodded and looked around me. “Is there anything you had in mind or do you want some help?” I said as I smiled knowing what I wanted to recommend to him. “I could really use some help, she has so many things!” He exclaimed as he zipped his jacket down. The store was always very hot, so I definitely understood him. “I have the perfect idea! What about a robe? We have multiple kinds. We have thicker materials, silk, cotton or even have linen.” I said as I walked towards the bathroom department of the store where we had the robes. I pulled out the rack of robes and showed him the colors. “Wow” he said as he touched them. “She likes pink and she is a cold person” he said as he furrowed his brows into a thinking position. “Perhaps this pink one that double layered, then” I said as I pulled it out of the rack. “That will do!” He said as he smiled widely clearly satisfied with himself. “Does she like good smells, soaps, towels?” I asked as the man nodded rapidly. “I suggest this pink soap bottle with a rosy smell, this complementing room spray and this matching towel” I said as I put them together to portray what they would look like. The old man nodded as he smiled widely. “Ring me up Miss!” he insisted as we made our way to the desk. I rang him up, he paid and I wrapped the gift in a cute giftbox adding a variety of ribbons and a tag. I did my very best to make the gift look special and the older man was visibly pleased. “Here, for your wife sir!” I said as I handed him the beautifully wrapped box. The man thanked me multiple times and told me how he was always happy to shop with us because of our very thoughtful customer service. I thanked him and waved him goodbye as he walked out.
This was the part of my job that I loved. I loved seeing customers get just what they want and be pleased to find something they have looked for. I walked over to the pile of boxes and pulled out some candle holders in crystal. They were something that every rich hausfrau would need. I kept unpacking the latest news and got to the bedding section. There were tons of new styles coming in synch with the season changing from winter to spring. I grabbed the higher latter from the back and climbed up to place the bedding. The bedding was heavy and I was juggling them back and forth between places to find the perfect spot for the new arrival.
“Hola, Do you work here yes?” A voice said behind me as it tapped my hip. I turned around and there was a woman standing next to the latter looking up at me. She was quite attractive, and I was slightly embarrassed by the fact that my ass was in the same height of as head since I was up on the latter. I jumped down, and smiled. “Good morning mrs, is there anything I can do to help you this morning?” I said as a put down the items I had tried to place. Her friend came around the ilse and she had a look on her face. “Si bonita, yo necesito una..” she was stopped by a smack in the back of her head. “Tonto! Tienes que hablar Inglés!” the other woman exclaimed. “Dios mío! Cállate por favor!” the attractive woman said back. I smiled knowing that I could speak perfectly Spanish as you step father was Spanish. He had been brought into my life as a toddler and he insisted in spaking Spanish with me claiming that it would help my learning abilities. “Sorry, yes, I need some cloth for the bed.” She said in a clearly Spanish accent. I giggled “Sheets? You need sheets?” I said as she blushed.
“Dios mío! Estupido de mierda. Nos estás avergonzando a los dos delante de la cura.” the woman said as she shook her head. I giggled again as I started walking. “Follow me please”. We came to the baskets with sheets and I looked at the pair. The blonde woman was still red and the brown haired woman looked like she was gonna piss herself laughing. “Cotton or satin, what do you prefer?” I asked as I touched the sheets in front of us. The blonde woman’s eyes widened. I smiled and explained.
“Cotton is cheaper. It stretches but I also gets wrinkly. Satin is more expensive, more silky but it dosent pill and it dosent wrinkle. Both have the fitted sheet look.” I said as a reached out for one of each for her to touch. She touched the sheets and looked confused. “What is your preference?” She asked. “Oh, I use the satin ones! They feeling cooling and they are way more durable than the cotton ones.” I said as she nodded. “I’ll take the satin then” she said as she winked. Did she just flirt with me? I shook the thought of quickly. “Now, what color do you prefer? We have navy, black, grey, white and cream” I said as I pointed to the different types. “Dios mio! Realmente necesito encontrar una novia.” the brunette said as she playfully slapped her toned bicep.
“The navy and black sheets dosent work well with blonde hair or fur. The white or cream sheets dosent work if you have a partner with black hair or pet fur.” I said as I smiled while I silently hoped that there was no partner. “I’ll go with crème then, no partner.” she said as she smiled shyly and looked at my blonde hair. I was doing everything I could to not blush.
Tumblr media
I beeped the sheet and looked at her. “It’s 49 punds. Are you a member?” I asked as was focusing on the screen in front of me. She shook her head. “Do you wanna be a member? I would just need your phone number.” I said as I smiled hoping I could sign her up as a member because it would mean that I got extra bonuses. “Si, dale tu numero!” the brunette whispered and nudged her. “Yes, +34 914 36 38 40, you can write my name as Alexia Putellas.” she said and I obliged. “Quieres una bolsa para ello o lo tomas como estás?” I smirked as the blonde blushed and the brunette bend down hysterically laughing. “Ella puede entender español, mierda estúpida” she wheezed out. “I’ll take a bag.” The blonde muttered while looking down at the bank terminal. She paid for it and I handed her the sheet in a bag with the recite. “Thank you, and goodbye!” I said as the pair started walking out. I got back into working on bedding placement when a hand tapped my knee. Jesus I thought to myself, not one moment to finish the wall. “Good morning, how ca-“ I stopped as I saw the blonde woman again handing me a reciet. “You dropped it.” She said as she disappeared out of the store. I opened the receipt to see who had lost it so we could keep it if they came back. The recite had pen marks on it and when I looked closer it was a message.
“If you ever want coffee, +34 914 36 38 40.
-Alexia “

It is with not an insignificant amount of restraint – really, Nate would be singing his high praise – that Mason stops, bites down on his cigarette, and turns away, recollecting himself enough to smooth his hackles into something resembling human civility.
He flicks the butt underfoot and stomps, twice. He rolls his shoulders. He sets his jaw. He sniffs.
Precipitation forming in the clouds overhead; temperature is ten degrees from chilly; slight, invariable breeze. Less birdsong today. Huh. More pollen. An overwhelming scent of pine, and an aftertaste of salt and smog, even this far out from Wayhaven town and the neighboring city. He clicks his tongue.
And, oh, of course — of fucking course. He forgot to cut the label off this goddamn fucking shirt and the way it’s grazing against his neck is enough to drive him back on the verge of a goddamn fucking frenzy.
“Dev!” Felix whoops.
Mason whips around so fast the movement upends leaves in the brush. With precise, fluted tunnel vision, grey eyes narrow in on her.
Deva marches towards them on uneven, thickly reeded ground from the opposite side of the small clearing. The sky, bruising into evening, gasps in a narrow ark behind her, cold kissing her nose and cheeks, turning pale olive to petal pink.
She blows out a breath, picking up her pace. It’s still not quick enough for him — like she’s galloping in sap. Mason stifles the almost-tremoring need to meet her halfway.
“Hey,” she calls in greeting, mid-battle with bog tree roots.
“Get a move on,” Mason barks. Felix snickers conspiratorially beside him.
“Hurry, Dev, I think he’s gonna blow.”
Mason rounds on the shorter vampire, who grins with porcelain-white veracity, but his stewing annoyance dissipates as quickly as it elevated when warm fingers envelope his, shelling his senses in unblooming, noiseless absolution. He shudders, not quite able to quell the flood of relief.
“Where’s Nate?” Dev asks after a moment, as if giving his body time to settle. Almost like she knew.
“Decided to wait with Adam back at the facility,” Felix says, pulling absently on the periwinkle strings of his periwinkle hoodie. He throws a face that tells her exactly what he thinks of Nate’s decision.
“Leaving you two without a referee?” Deva smiles easily. Felix mirrors it — with an extra flash of fiend.
“You’re late,” Mason cuts in.
“Nice Adam impression, he usually goes a little lighter on the murderous intent.” She squeezes his hand — it’s a gentle tease – before adding, “Car trouble. So, what’s the plan?”
Mason rolls his eyes and doesn’t even bother asking after that wreck-on-wheels this time. Deva’s in one piece — that’s good enough for him.
Felix points at Mason, who removes something small from his jacket pocket with his free hand. He offers it to her, rather unceremoniously.
“Radio,” he says. “Put it on.”
“We’re splitting up too?” Dark brows raise as she stares at the tiny device deposited in her palm.
“Eh, kinda. I’m supposed to scout ahead,” says Felix, tapping at his own matching earpiece. “Last team the Agency sent said it was all clear, but you know what Adam’s like with precautions.”
“It’s just a follow up, right? Back at the old farm house?” Raking swathes of black hair out of her face, Deva hooks the dainty plastic cuff around cartilage as Felix begins to fill her in. Mason still hasn’t really gotten used to the new cut. Change always threw him.
When they’d met, right up until after all the bullshit with that no-count shitheel auctioneer, Deva’s hair had almost been down to her ass. Now it just about reaches her chin – much shorter than his, even. It tends to draw his full attention to the long sweep of her neck on more than one occasion. Right now, in fact, he finds himself casually admiring the two small, purpling hickies he’d left her with just the night before.
Yeah. Maybe he liked the new hair. Maybe he really liked it.
“Helloooo?” Felix flaps his hand wildly in Mason’s direct line of sight, ripping him from some quickly unspooling, sweaty thoughts. “Are you even listeni–?”
“No,” Mason says plainly, fixing him with a glare. Felix pulls another face, then blows out a long breath.
“Ugh, whatever. I hate being the responsible one. Just make sure nobody kidnaps Dev. Again.”
Dev frowns.
“I think I prefer Adam’s pep talks before a mission.”

Mind the Gap, Chapter 1
Pairing: Michael Kinsella x F!Reader, Matt Murdock & Reader (Platonic)
Rating: E
Word count (per chapter): ~500 (Just to set the story up, future chapters will be longer!)
Story Summary: When Michael gets sent across the pond to fix an issue with the Kinsella clan's drug trade expansion into New York City, he never expected to meet and fall for a pretty law clerk from the office of Nelson, Murdock, and Page. But when she gets abducted by a rival cartel, Michael will have to enlist the help of the very vigilante that's trying to take down his entire operation.
Warnings/Tags: Kin/Daredevil crossover, Canon-typical violence (for both shows), Platonic Matt Murdock/Reader, Smut in later chapters, More tags to come
A/N: After announcing this MONTHS ago, it's finally here -- the Daredevil/Kin crossover no one asked for, but I decided to write anyway. Lol
Note that this is a Michael Kinsella x Reader fic -- there is no love triangle between Mikey, Reader, and Matt.
If you want to be added to the taglist for this or any of my other ongoing stories, or if I was supposed to tag you/tagged you in error, please let me know!

Fuckin' hell, let's get this over with, Michael Kinsella thought to himself as he trudged up the driveway to his sister-in-law’s house.
He had just gotten word that the Garda had wrapped up their investigation into his father's and uncle’s deaths and had ruled the case a murder-suicide -- therefore clearing him from further questioning -- when Amanda had texted that she was calling a meeting.
Amanda opened the door before he had even reached it. “Hey,” she said.
Michael walked in. “Hi.”
Amanda closed the door behind him. “Hadn't seen ya in a while.”
Aye, and there's a fuckin' reason for tha’, Michael thought.
As Amanda had started taking over more and more territory and doing whatever she had to in order to stay on top, Michael had realized that it hadn't ever been him that she had wanted, it had been the Kinsella name and the power and prestige that had come with it.
While he hadn't ever regretted having Jamie, he had regretted sleeping with Amanda when she had come on to him while Jimmy had been in prison all those years ago and again more recently when her marriage had been falling apart and Michael had been dealing with finding out about Molly being engaged.
He shrugged. “Been busy.”
“Wan’ a drink?”
Michael shook his head. What he wanted was to go back home.
Amanda pursed her lips, but before she could say anything else, Birdy arrived.
“So what's ya call a meetin’ for?” Michael asked once they had all sat down at Amanda's kitchen table.
Amanda folded her hands together in front of her and leaned forward. “I called ya over because we're takin’ over some operations in America and I need ya ta go oversee tha transfer. There's been some issues.”
Michael was taken aback. “Me? Why me?”
“Because we're all busy -- I’m tryin’ ta clean up tha mess Bren left while also dealin’ wit' Jimmy's shite, Viking is workin' on getting tha houses reopened, and Birdy's still dealin’ with Frank's estate. Yer’ that only one left who we can trust ta take care a’ things.”
“Plus I think it'll be good for ya to get away for a while ‘till things settle down again,” Birdy added.
Michael shook his head. “Are ya forgettin’ tha’ I'm a convicted felon? They won' even let me on a plane, much less inta another country.”
“Tha's already taken care of.” Birdy picked up a manilla envelope off of the table and handed it to him. “Everything is in here.”
Michael opened it to find an ID and passport.
He looked at the ID. “Michael O’Brien?”
Amanda shrugged. “Best we could do on short notice. ‘Least ya get ta go by yer first name.”
Birdy cut her eyes over to Amanda briefly before turning back towards Michael. “Flight’s already booked. Ya leave on Thursday.”
Michael sighed, resigned. “Where exactly am I goin?”
A satisfied look spread across Amanda's face as she leaned back. “New York City.”

this is mostly just fluff but it does get a little suggestive (may or may not be a smut prompt I’m working on)
In the calm silence of the ship, Imogen held her lover close and shut her eyes. Meditation in the traditional sense never came easy to her – to let go of her own sense of self to reach so called enlightenment felt like an unnecessary sacrifice to make. Imogen knew how to quiet her mind enough to stay centered, but she could never surrender herself past that. At least, she used to.
To feel the warmth of someone she held deep reverence for, to trace the tips of her fingers across the other woman’s skin, to sense every beat of her heart through the Force like a steady beacon of life, made Imogen forget about herself completely. It gave her a taste of that fabled inner peace the Jedi always used to babble about.
Bix inhaled deeply and nuzzled herself further into Imogen’s chest. “I missed you,” she whispered like a secret confession.
A powerful warmth fluttered in the bounty hunter’s chest. She smiled at the thought of being missed. If the incessant tug in Imogen’s gut while she was away told her anything, it’s that she could certainly relate. “I thought of you often, as I always have when we are apart.”
“Is that so?”
“It used to drive me mad,” Imogen recalled wistfully now that she was free of her own vice. A playful urge overtook her and she positioned herself to pin Bix beneath her. The mechanic flashed an intrigued grin as Imogen leaned in. “Especially in the quiet moments,” she continued, lowering her voice to a sultry murmur as she brushed her lips over her lover’s cheek and down her neck, “when my longing for you kept me awake at night.”

Something Something Thursday
(Just pretend I have an excuse to post this snippet <3)
You guys gave me an insane amount of support on my last snippet and ahsjsjsj it means so much to me💜💜 so I can’t let the people down I’m writing this fic (who cares about completing assignments anyway). Interact with this post if you would like to be tagged when I post!!
Here’s more of it:
“Yep.” Buck leans closer to Eddie, resting his hand on his thigh, and whispers in his ear. “I’m super hot plus you’re super hot, think about how good the sex would be.” Eddie does not choke on his beer.
It’s not that he hasn’t thought about having sex with Buck. He’s only human. But never in his wildest dreams did he ever think that would be something he could have. Before tonight, Eddie would have never guessed that Buck was anything other than straight. To be fair, everyone thinks he’s straight too. Still, even in his fantasies, he never expected Buck to be so forward.
Once again, as the tightness in his pants suggests, he’s not complaining.
He figures, if this is a dream, then there’s no harm in indulging a little. He gulps down his beer and turns back to face Buck. “Well, can’t argue with that math.”
