I do enjoy that i can have moments of peace where I’m just working peacefully
like enjoying my drink, listening to music; in a rhythm y’know?
and then my brain just has ✨a moment✨
like:
🧠: hey~ (asked repeatedly until i finally listen)
🧍🏻♀️: sup?
🧠: hey, listen, you’re having some boba right now and you know what boba reminded me of?
🧍🏻♀️: I’m afraid to ask but you’re just going to tell me anyw
🧠: Takuya laughing at the director on Kimura-saaaan because he starts choking on balls
🧍🏻♀️: …….
🧠: boba balls
🧍🏻♀️: I’m putting headphones on you

Hello there.
[Slides elegantly into the tags]
Do you ever think about Emotion?
Of course you do. How could you not. But do you ever think about this exchange specifically:
“You’re not Adrien!”
Because Adrien is sweet, and forgiving, and kind. In fact, kindness is his defining quality — Marinette herself made sure of it:
“Ill never tell another boy I love him before I know everything about him! Whether he’s kind or not, thoughtful, what he does outside of school and with who… I’ll know everything.”
But.
Do you ever think about Adrien’s development in S4 and especially S5?
Overtime, he has grown resentful of a system that exploits him relentlessly.
Of the people he gave countless chances to, only to be let down over and over again.
Of the web of lies and half-truths he constantly finds himself tangled into. A web that is only growing bigger, stickier, and trickier to escape.
And the Senticousins. Do you ever think about them?
Do you ever think about how they are each other’s reflection, identical and opposites all at once?
“When you bring a living being into this world, you have a responsibility towards them. Your duty is to protect them, love them, help them discover the true meaning of their existence. To deprive them of that… is monstruous.”
“To have a child is to help them blossom, to grow, to find themselves and to be free!”
Do you ever think about their opposite character arcs in S5 — one learning mercy and trust, the other developing a rage so strong it could destroy the world?
Do you ever think that if Felix can now have this exchange with his mum, and mean it:
“They’re all monsters!”
“Not all of them.”
Then there’s nothing stopping Adrien from saying this:
“Look closer, Marinette. They’re the monsters.”

One day Ingo and Emmet return home from being displaced through time and space. Ingo returns with scars and looking as though he's aged years more than he has. Emmet is now French. They have both gone through equal levels of hell 😔
Emmet got to experience mega evolution firsthand. He tells Ingo how cool it was to see pokemon in a bigger and stronger state. Ingo’s like oh that sounds a lot like alpha pokemon. Emmet asks him to elaborate and Ingo just shows him the horrific scars he sustained while he explains it. Emmet’s like WHAT HAPPENED and Ingo realizes this probably shouldn’t be the first thing he shows Emmet.
You also reminded me that I once drew warden Ingo, and then a quick comparison of what I imagined for Emmet during the events of PLA. I don’t think I ever shared this on tumblr. It’d be fun to figure out a more thought-out comparison between them at some point, I think. I have to do it anyways for my fic IWLYB eventually!!

I’m gonna be honest, I’ve been preparing myself for byler endgame. However, I have not been preparing myself for fans’ reaction to the downfall of milkvan. Like just thinking about it makes me sick. It is going to be absolute chaos.

One of the greatest parts of getting to watch Cucurucho’s pov of everything is that we get to see it hesitate at certain times AND IT MAKES ME SICK. WTF STOP STARING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN TWO CHOICES THAT ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF AN EMOTIONALLY ENFORCED CHOICE OR NOT. STOP DOING THAT
Poor pepito such a sad sign to read

Reminder to all those out there that a ‘crack-pot’ theory refers to theory’s that are mostly built on vibes. Dadodile has canon evidence and seeded foreshadowing.
Crocodad/dadodile/crocomom, whatever you wanna call it, is not a crack-pot theory and if you want to pretend it isn’t plausible that’s just you ignoring evidence at this point.

we spend the entire show watching house do anything to treat his pain — he goes to (understandably) insane, destructive lengths just to ensure he never has to suffer being sober. his entire life is focused around a cycle of distraction, thrill-seeking, and avoidance. we know that his home is filled with hundreds upon hundreds of pills, so he can always prolong and maximise those moments where his agony is muffled. and yet, in the final scene, we see him dive head-on into the end, and despite this being the most gruelling, insurmountable prognosis of his entire life, we see him smile bathed in the sunlight; those muted tones are dauntingly lifted, yet there’s no echo of a bottle rattling.

Finished vol 1 of erha and I think my favourite thing is the insane dichotomy between how Mo Ran describes his relationship with Chu Wanning in his past life (I hate him, I tortured and defined him, etc), and what every memory actually depicts. All the “that was his person” and the “this was his companion for who knows how many years.” The way he seems to recall all their nights together fondly, and they’re described like “tangling together” rather than anything more violent. The way when he’s half asleep, it’s the fact that he’s cradling Chu Wanning in his arms that makes him unable to separate his current life from his past one—and the way he kisses him gently and mutters about not wanting to get up. The way early on he described that he rarely kissed the prostitutes and other sexual partners in his life, because these weren’t emotional entanglements, but when the spirit illusion looks like Chu Wanning it says that “Chu Wanning was rarely the one to initiate their kisses”—they probably kissed a LOT.
Mo Ran tries to describe his relationship with Chu Wanning as one of hatred and abuse, but the relationship he seems to recall seems a lot more like… a tender marriage.

The fact that while Bo is experiencing an extreme culture shock, she’s still being so easily accepted into the covert just by way of having taken the creed and wearing her helmet. She’s so confused and unsure what’s to be done that she’s probably having to learn as much as Grogu at the moment, but she’s still treated as one of them. She’s given an AMAZING honor of having her pauldron reforged because of losing one on a mission.
The people that she claimed to fight for. The ones that she wanted to help unite. They left her when she didn’t come back with an ancient saber that proclaimed her religious right to rule them. But Din took her home after she lost hers and they welcomed her.
She probably would have been bombed in her home if Grogu hadn’t come and got her to help rescue Din. She is alive because of him, and he is alive because of her. And now she’s part of his family. I don’t think Bo-Katan is going to leave them, not unless something really important came up. They don’t even know her and they accepted that she could help them and had bathed in the living waters. Im just. If I’m this shocked, I can’t even imagine how frazzled she is. She’s taking the culture shock rather well. But they don’t just let her in, they accepted her as one of them.
