i rlly wish making fun of kin people wasn't so commonplace. sometimes i wanna rb stuff to my kin blog for kin enjoyment/aesthetic purposes but then i get so paranoid that OP is gonna see it and specifically single me out and make fun of me for it and i like. Know that's mostly the paranoia talking. but also i Know there is a non zero chance that it Could happen and i just end up staring at the post longingly before scrolling past it.

idk man i just wanna exist without ppl calling me cringe for being kin. like this is a genuine thing i believe in/coping mechanism that helps me go thru day to day life without wanting to start smashing things with hammers. i don't need you to understand it, i just want your understanding that i'm a little different than you and want to enjoy your content within the context of my own past life. genuinely all i'm asking for.

i'm so tired dudes and not dudes. for all the talk i see nonkin people making that you shouldn't make fun of people for things that are objectively not harmful to anyone even if they seem ""weird"", those same people seem really comfortable with making jokes at kin peoples' expense.

i'm gonna be real with you all, at this point i don't care if a kin person is getting into infights about petty drama or if they make half their personality revolve around being a certain character, as long as it's not genuinely hurting anyone it shouldn't be any of your business. and as someone who's been kin for over 7 years, are there parts of the kin community that personally embarrass me or that i think are cringy? sure, i think that about most communities i'm in, because i'm a human being with my own feelings and opinions. but it's still gonna piss me off when rando nonkin people think it's perfectly fine to make fun of those parts just because it's something they don't believe in/take part of.

like sorry that people have a genuine spiritual belief and/or coping mechanism that you think is cringe, i guess. can you grow up and stop publicly making them the butt of so many jokes just because you can't make fun of them for their appearances/disabilities/mental illnesses/interests/whatever else anymore? it'd be much appreciated. thanks.

On the one hand, I'm relieved my Simpsons canon diverged pretty early on, because like many, I despise a lot the later seasons. But, on the other hand, it's pretty frustrating so desperately wanting to engage with my source, but only relating to maybe a quarter of it.

There's fanfiction, which I do appreciate, but my kins are minor characters, and as I said, pretty canon divergent, so content can be sparse. I guess I could just write it myself? But, do I really want to? Does anyone give a shit about the mundane things that happened to minor and not-well-liked characters? Or is that just cringe and I'll be called a freak for taking it so seriously? Would I be able to handle the hate from my "weird headcanons" that are just what we were actually like in real life?

Sometimes I kinfirm a character that's "problematic"/widely hated and/or I kinfirm from a "cringe" source. And it's just like "Hmm... do I dare put this on my kinlist?" I don't wanna get hate. Plus some uncommon sources seem to just make people assume that you're an antikin trolling. It's frustrating.
