THE ANNUNCIATION (BLAGOVESCHENIE) OF OUR MOST BLESSED LADY MOTHER OF GOD AND EVER-VIRGIN MARY

Commemorated on March 25_ by the newcalendar

Sermon of Saint Proklos, Patriarch of Constantinople

Our present gathering in honour of the MostHoly Virgin inspires me, brethren, to say of Her a word of praise, of benefit also for those come unto this churchly solemnity. It comprises a praise of women, a glorying of their gender, which (glory) is brought it by Her, She Who is at one same time both Mother, and Virgin. O desired and wondrous gathering! Celebrate, O nature, that wherein honour be rendered to Woman; rejoice, O human race, that wherein the Virgin be glorified. "For when sin did abound, grace did superabound" (Rom. 5: 20). The Holy Mother of God and Virgin Mary hath gathered us here, She the pure treasure of virginity, the intended paradise of Second Adam, – the locus, wherein was accomplished the co-uniting of natures, wherein was affirmed the Counsel of salvific reconciliation. Whoever is it that ever saw, whoever heard, that within a womb the Limitless God would make habitation, Whom the Heavens cannot circumscribe, Whom the womb of a Virgin limiteth not!? He born of woman is not only God and He is not only Man: This One born made woman, being the ancient gateway of sin, into the gateway of salvation: where evil poured forth its poison, bringing on disobedience, there the Word made for Himself a living temple, bringing in thither obedience; from whence the arch-sinner Cain sprang forth, there without seed was born Christ the Redeemer of the human race. The Lover-of-Mankind did not disdain to be born of woman, since this bestowed His life. He was not subject to impurity, being settled within the womb, which He Himself arrayed free from all harm. If perchance this Mother did not remain a Virgin, then that born of Her might be a mere man, and the birth would be no wise miraculous; but since She after birth remained a Virgin, then how is He Who is born indeed – not God? It is an inexplicable mystery, since in an inexplicable manner was born He Who without hindrance went through doors when they were locked. When confessing in Him the co-uniting of two natures, Thomas cried out: "My Lord, and my God!" (Jn. 20: 28).

The Apostle Paul says, that Christ is "to the Jews indeed scandal, and to the Gentiles yet folly" (1 Cor. 1: 23): they did not perceive the power of the mystery, since it was incomprehensible to the mind: "for had they understood, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory" (1 Cor. 2: 8). If the Word had not settled within the womb, then the flesh would not have ascended with Him onto the Divine Throne; if for God it were disdainful to enter into the womb, which He created, then the Angels too would have disdained service to mankind. That One, Who by His nature was not subject to sufferings, through His love for us subjected Himself to many a suffering. We believe, that Christ not through some gradual ascent towards the Divine nature was made God, but being God, through His mercy He was made Man. We do not say: "a man made God"; but we confess, that God was incarnated and made Man. His Servant was chosen for Himself as Mother by That One Who, in His essence did not have mother, and Who, through Divine foresight having appeared upon the earth in the image of man, does not have here father. How one and the same is He both without father, and without mother, in accord with the words of the Apostle (Heb. 7: 3)? If He – be only a man, then He cannot be without mother – but actually He had a Mother. If He – be God only, then He cannot be without Father – but in fact He has the Father. And yet as God the Creator He has not mother, and as Man He has not father. We can be persuaded in this by the very name of the Archangel, making annunciation to Mary: his name – is Gabriel. What does this name mean? – it means: "God and man". Since That One about Whom he announced is God and Man, then his very name points beforehand to this miracle, so that with faith be accepted the deed of the Divine dispensation. To save people would be impossible for a mere man, since every man has need in the Saviour: "for all, – says Saint Paul, – have sinned, and come short the Glory of God" (Rom. 3: 23). Since sin subjects the sinner to the power of the devil, and the devil subjects him to death, then our condition did become extremely hapless: there was no sort of way to be delivered from death. There were sent physicians, i.e. the prophets, but they could only the more clearly point out the malady. What did they do? When they saw, that the illness was beyond human skill, they summoned from Heaven the Physician; one of them said "Lord, bend the heavens, and come down" (Ps. 143 [144]: 5); others cried out: "Heal me, O Lord, and I shalt be healed" (Jer. 17: 14); "restore Thine power, and come yet to save us" (Ps. 79 [80]: 3). And yet others: "For if God truly be settled with man upon the earth" (3 [1] Kings 8: 27); "speedily send before Thine tender mercy, O Lord, for we are brought very low" (Ps. 78 [79]: 8). Others said: "O woe to me, my soul! For the pious art perished from the earth, and of the upright amongst men there is none" (Mich. 7: 2). "O God, in help attend to me, O Lord, shield me with Thine help" (Ps. 69 [70]: 1). "If there be delay, endure it, for He that cometh shalt come, and not tarry" (Hab. 2: 3). "Perishing like a lost sheep: seek out Thine servant, who doth hope on Thee" (Ps. 118 [119]: 176). "For God wilt come, our God, and wilt not keep silence" (Ps. 49 [50]: 3). That One, Who by nature is Lord, did not disdain human nature, enslaved by the sinister power of the devil, the merciful God would not accede for it to be forever under the power of the devil, the Ever-Existing One came and gave in ransom His Blood; for the redemption of the race of man from death He gave up His Body, which He had accepted of the Virgin, He delivered the world from the curse of the law, annihilating death by His death. "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law", – exclaims Saint Paul (Gal. 3: 13). Thus know, that our Redeemer is not simply a mere man, since all the human race was enslaved to sin. But He likewise is not God only, non-partaking of human nature. He had body, since if He had not clothed Himself in me, He then likewise should not have saved me. But, having settled within the womb of the Virgin, He clothed Himself in my fate, and within this womb He perfected a miraculous change: He bestowed the Spirit and received a body, That One only indeed (dwelling) with the Virgin and (born) of the Virgin. And so, Who is He, made manifest to us? The Prophet David doth point it out for thee in these words: "Blessed is He that cometh in the Name of the Lord" (Ps. 117 [118]: 26). But tell us even more clearly, O prophet, Who is He? The Lord is the God of Hosts, says the prophet: "God is the Lord, and hath revealed Himself unto us" (Ps. 117 [118]: 27). "The Word was made flesh" (Jn. 1: 14): there were co-united the two natures, and the union remained without mingling. He came to save, but had also to suffer. What has the one in common with the other? A mere man cannot save; and God in only His nature cannot suffer. By what means was done the one and the other? Wherein that He, Emmanuel, being God, was made also Man; both this, that what He was, He saved by, – and this, that what He was made, He suffered as. Wherefore, when the Church beheld, that the Jewish throng had crowned Him with thorns, bewailing the violence of the throng, – it said: "Daughters of Zion, go forth and behold the crown, of which is crowned He of His mother" (Sng. 3: 11). He wore the crown of thorns and destroyed the judgement to suffering from the thorns. He Only is That One both in the bosom of the Father and in the womb of the Virgin; He Only is That One – in the arms of His Mother and in the wings of the winds (Ps. 103 [104]: 3); He, to Whom the Angels bowed down in worship, at that same time reclined at table with publicans. Upon Him the Seraphim dared not to gaze, and at the same time Pilate pronounced sentence upon Him. He – is That One and Same, Whom the servant did smite and before whom did tremble all creation. He was nailed to the Cross and ascended to the Throne of Glory, – He was placed in the tomb and He stretched out the heavens like a skin (Ps. 103 [104]: 2), – He was numbered amidst the dead and He emptied hell; here upon the earth, they cursed at Him as a transgressor, – there in Heaven, they exclaimed Him glory as the All-Holy. What an incomprehensible mystery! I see the miracles, and I confess, that He – is God; I see the sufferings, and I cannot deny, that He – is Man. Emmanuel opened up the doors of nature, as man, and preserved unharmed the seal of virginity, as God: He emerged from the womb thus as He entered through the announcing; the same wondrously was He both born and conceived: without passion He entered, and without impairment He emerged, as concerning this doth say the Prophet Ezekiel: "He returned me back the way of the gates of the outer sanctuaries, looking upon the east: and these had been shut. And saith the Lord to me: son of man, these gates shalt be closed, and not open, and no one go through them: for the Lord God of Israel, He Only, shalt enter and come forth, and they wilt be shut" (Ez. 44: 1-2). Here – it clearly indicates the Holy Virgin and Mother of God Mary. Let cease all contention, and let the Holy Scripture enlighten our reason, so that we too receive the Heavenly Kingdom unto all eternity. Amen.

The Acts of the Apostles, pp. 9-16: Chapter (1) God's Purpose for His Church

The church is God's appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world. From the beginning it has been God's plan that through His church shall be reflected to the world His fullness and His sufficiency. The members of the church, those whom He has called out of darkness into His marvelous light, are to show forth His glory. The church is the repository of the riches of the grace of Christ; and through the church will eventually be made manifest, even to “the principalities and powers in heavenly places,” the final and full display of the love of God. Ephesians 3:10.

Many and wonderful are the promises recorded in the Scriptures regarding the church. “Mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” Isaiah 56:7. “I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.” “And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more. Thus shall they know that I the Lord their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are My people, saith the Lord God. And ye My flock, the flock of My pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord God.” Ezekiel 34:26, 29-31.

“Ye are My witnesses, saith the Lord, and My servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside Me there is no Saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have showed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are My witnesses.” “I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; to open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.” Isaiah 43:10-12; 42:6, 7.

“In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages; that thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places. They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for He that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall He guide them. And I will make all My mountains a way, and My highways shall be exalted....

“Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the Lord hath comforted His people, and will have mercy upon His afflicted. But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of My hands; thy walls are continually before Me.” Isaiah 49:8-16.

The church is God's fortress, His city of refuge, which He holds in a revolted world. Any betrayal of the church is treachery to Him who has bought mankind with the blood of His only-begotten Son. From the beginning, faithful souls have constituted the church on earth. In every age the Lord has had His watchmen, who have borne a faithful testimony to the generation in which they lived. These sentinels gave the message of warning; and when they were called to lay off their armor, others took up the work. God brought these witnesses into covenant relation with Himself, uniting the church on earth with the church in heaven. He has sent forth His angels to minister to His church, and the gates of hell have not been able to prevail against His people.

Through centuries of persecution, conflict, and darkness, God has sustained His church. Not one cloud has fallen upon it that He has not prepared for; not one opposing force has risen to counterwork His work, that He has not foreseen. All has taken place as He predicted. He has not left His church forsaken, but has traced in prophetic declarations what would occur, and that which His Spirit inspired the prophets to foretell has been brought about. All His purposes will be fulfilled. His law is linked with His throne, and no power of evil can destroy it. Truth is inspired and guarded by God; and it will triumph over all opposition.

During ages of spiritual darkness the church of God has been as a city set on a hill. From age to age, through successive generations, the pure doctrines of heaven have been unfolding within its borders. Enfeebled and defective as it may appear, the church is the one object upon which God bestows in a special sense His supreme regard. It is the theater of His grace, in which He delights to reveal His power to transform hearts.

“Whereunto,” asked Christ, “shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?” Mark 4:30. He could not employ the kingdoms of the world as a similitude. In society He found nothing with which to compare it. Earthly kingdoms rule by the ascendancy of physical power; but from Christ's kingdom every carnal weapon, every instrument of coercion, is banished. This kingdom is to uplift and ennoble humanity. God's church is the court of holy life, filled with varied gifts and endowed with the Holy Spirit. The members are to find their happiness in the happiness of those whom they help and bless.

Wonderful is the work which the Lord designs to accomplish through His church, that His name may be glorified. A picture of this work is given in Ezekiel's vision of the river of healing: “These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed. And it shall come to pass, that everything that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live:... and by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.” Ezekiel 47:8-12.

From the beginning God has wrought through His people to bring blessing to the world. To the ancient Egyptian nation God made Joseph a fountain of life. Through the integrity of Joseph the life of that whole people was preserved. Through Daniel God saved the life of all the wise men of Babylon. And these deliverances are as object lessons; they illustrate the spiritual blessings offered to the world through connection with the God whom Joseph and Daniel worshiped. Everyone in whose heart Christ abides, everyone who will show forth His love to the world, is a worker together with God for the blessing of humanity. As he receives from the Saviour grace to impart to others, from his whole being flows forth the tide of spiritual life.

God chose Israel to reveal His character to men. He desired them to be as wells of salvation in the world. To them were committed the oracles of heaven, the revelation of God's will. In the early days of Israel the nations of the world, through corrupt practices, had lost the knowledge of God. They had once known Him; but because “they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, ... their foolish heart was darkened.” Romans 1:21. Yet in His mercy God did not blot them out of existence. He purposed to give them an opportunity of again becoming acquainted with Him through His chosen people. Through the teachings of the sacrificial service, Christ was to be uplifted before all nations, and all who would look to Him should live. Christ was the foundation of the Jewish economy. The whole system of types and symbols was a compacted prophecy of the gospel, a presentation in which were bound up the promises of redemption.

But the people of Israel lost sight of their high privileges as God's representatives. They forgot God and failed to fulfill their holy mission. The blessings they received brought no blessing to the world. All their advantages they appropriated for their own glorification. They shut themselves away from the world in order to escape temptation. The restrictions that God had placed upon their association with idolaters as a means of preventing them from conforming to the practices of the heathen, they used to build up a wall of separation between themselves and all other nations. They robbed God of the service He required of them, and they robbed their fellow men of religious guidance and a holy example.

Priests and rulers became fixed in a rut of ceremonialism. They were satisfied with a legal religion, and it was impossible for them to give to others the living truths of heaven. They thought their own righteousness all-sufficient, and did not desire that a new element should be brought into their religion. The good will of God to men they did not accept as something apart from themselves, but connected it with their own merit because of their good works. The faith that works by love and purifies the soul could find no place for union with the religion of the Pharisees, made up of ceremonies and the injunctions of men.

Of Israel God declared: “I had planted thee a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then art thou turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto Me?” Jeremiah 2:21. “Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself.” Hosea 10:1. “And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt Me and My vineyard. What could have been done more to My vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

“And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to My vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down: and I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it. For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah His pleasant plant: and He looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.” Isaiah 5:3-7. “The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.” Ezekiel 34:4.

The Jewish leaders thought themselves too wise to need instruction, too righteous to need salvation, too highly honored to need the honor that comes from Christ. The Saviour turned from them to entrust to others the privileges they had abused and the work they had slighted. God's glory must be revealed, His word established. Christ's kingdom must be set up in the world. The salvation of God must be made known in the cities of the wilderness; and the disciples were called to do the work that the Jewish leaders had failed to do.

Not Alone

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2NASB

To whom do you look for help? Pantheism, New Age, Witchcraft, Molech, paganism, animism and a thousand other religions date back to man trying to find a god, after leaving Eden. All of these religions are false. Their gods are demons and material substance. And yes, these fake religions are very active in our world today.

The One Creator, Yahweh, of everything, including material substance is spirit. Jesus said— John 4:24NASB “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” He isn’t comprehendible in the world of matter— material. Man’s spirit was created especially to communicate with Creator God.

1Corinthians 1:27KJV “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise…” Intelligent minds with dead spirits try to figure out spiritual things— they can’t. Human brains can calculate, decipher, manipulate and create within the material world— after all we were made in the image of God. Jesus’ shedding blood seems ridiculous to man, until you believe.

From Adam’s sin onward in history, Yahweh has shown man Himself. Nature is proof of of God’s existence. Romans 1:20-23ESV “For although they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal Gd for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.” The first time I ever went to visit the mountains, I stood amazed. Each rock was alike but different. Mountain peaks were alike but different. I reached out my arms embracing the air and gave God a kiss, in worship. He deserved adoration for giving me something extravagant and breathtaking to gaze upon.

Someone creating such intricate, detailed beauty for His children can be trusted in all things. As born again believers, we are able to join King David understanding this TRUTH. V2 “My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” We’re not alone. Nor do we have to struggle alone. Hallelujah. God is for us.

This same Yahweh doesn’t sleep; goes to bat for us; has our backs all the time; brings us safely through every difficult place. Psalm 121:3-8NASB “He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever.”

Most of our lives, we look to the natural realm to measure success. Believers tend to decide what to believe about God by what we ‘see,’ instead of WHO He is or His Word. Look to Jesus, measuring everything by what He says— “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith…” Hebrews12:2NASB

Emotions change. Emotional faith in what we see changes with our mood. God’s Words don’t change, they’re dependable. Understand— “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrew 13:8NASB

Facts aren’t truth. Only God, our Helper, is Truth. The fact is— He is the mountain remover after prayer and standing. He’s unchangeable, unshakable, unstoppable. Why look at the dead, demonic, and material which won’t help? It’s your choice. You choose.

PRAYER: Papa God thank You for confounding the wise. Open our understanding to intimately know You more each day, in Christ Jesus’ name I pray.

A Loving, Merciful God of Standards

The Lord Almighty, the one who created everything is a God of love and mercy, but he is also a God with standards. Because of his mercy and grace all of mankind can be saved from damnation. I have found that many believers today imagine that because God is a God of grace, mercy and forgiveness, they can get away with anything, get away with doing whatever they want to do and behaving in any-which-way they want to behave. I’ve been there! And I have learned and am learning from mistakes I’ve made regarding this. But here is something that everyone needs to remember, God has standards, standards which he upholds all mankind to, Christian or not; all our actions have consequences!

There were several Bible verses I learned in High School, that expound on this truth, which have pretty much been my life verses. They are Proverbs 18:24, Luke 6:31, Colossians 4:6, and Matthew 12:36; Proverbs 18:24 says, “One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” -NIV, but I learned it in the King James Version which states, “A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly, and there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” I understood this verse to mean that if I want good friends, lifelong friends, I must also prove myself to be a person that is identified with ‘good’ ‘lifelong’ friend’ characteristics. Growing up, I was shy, and sheltered, so making friends ‘outside’ my family circle was important and scary to me, but I also found it to be easier than I imagined, because I tend to attract people. Talking to other people was quite scary mostly during my preteen and teen years, even though people are generally drawn to me. It is still quite scary for me to make friends because I am also a very empathic, emotional person, so when I make friends, I tend to want a lifelong friendship, and not just any kind of lifelong friendship, but a good one with God as the foundation. Granted, I cannot claim to have always been a person of ‘good, lifelong friend’ material, but I do my best; I digress! I was just recalling a few occasions where I did not treat others right, and other separate occasions where others didn’t treat me right as well. As you may have guessed, these occurrences happened in college, sometimes between me and professors, but most times between me and my roommates/suite mates or between me and the Residence life staff. I recalled an occasion, after one such altercation with two of my suite mates, where I was speaking to the former Residence Life Director about how the altercation occurred, how I was clearly being treated unfairly because the cause of the altercation was not me, yet, I was being blamed, and disciplined for it while the real culprits went scot free, in my opinion, anyway. In order to control my temper and keep the peace, I decided to just accept the discipline, though, to be entirely honest, I did do something wrong during the altercation, I fought with this suitemate. Anyway, I cautioned her and told her that God sees all and the ‘day of reckoning’ will come where God will fight for me and ‘balance the books’, so to speak, in essence consequences follow actions, and she said to me that “the God she knows is a God of mercy, and He does not or will not punish us anymore for sinning,”like he punished the ancient world when they sinned. While that is true, the God I know is also a God of standards, standards he upholds the human race to. All actions have consequences!

I learned this concept early in life, but I didn’t fully grasp it until some of my actions in 2012 resulted in some very bitter consequences, consequences I’m still suffering from till today, eight years after the fact! Trust me when I say, actions have consequences! And I have experienced the war and peace of consequences throughout these past nine years. In as much as becoming a Christian means having an escape from ‘judgment’ and damnation, all humans are accountable to God! Jesus’ exhortation in Matthew 12:36 & 37 says, “But I tell you that everyone will have to give an account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your word you will be acquitted and by your word you will be condemned.” Every time I remember the person that called himself a ‘cussing Christian’, I feel so sad for him, and every time I remember all the ‘empty words’ that have come out of my own mouth, I begin to wonder about how I’m going to account for them before God, like what exactly would I say? Our words, our thoughts, and our actions all have consequences or blessings attached to them! So we all ought to be cautious about what we say, what we think about, and how we act. Since our thoughts determine our actions, our thought life should also be controlled by God.

I received this word in my spirit while formulating this post, when I pondered on this question, ‘Why then did God punish the ancient Israelites when they sinned? And not just the Israelites, remember Nebuchadnazzar, his son Belshazzar, and other people’s of the ancient word who did not follow him, remember the Philistines, Amalekites, Amorites, Babylonians, and so on, the Word I received is this, “when God punished the ancient Israelites for sinning, he didn’t punish them because he hated them, or didn’t forgive their trespasses, no, he forgave their trespasses, and still loved them despite their failures, when God destroyed the ancient world with a flood, he didn’t destroy mankind because he hated us, no, he punished them, and ‘punishes’ or rather ‘disciplines’ because he loves us so much that he wants to correct the sin in us because God cannot and will not tolerate any kind of sin; any kind of behavior that is contrary to his way. When God created the world, everything was good, everything was perfect and peaceful! But sin destroyed that goodness, and brought the curse of evil on all creation; now we crave for everything we had in the Garden, good health, long life, peace, unity, and so forth. This sin separated us from God, so badly that coming to him required atonement. The beautiful relationship and unity we had with God as mankind was broken by sin, and blood had to be spilled, usually the blood of a clean, unblemished animal was required to commune with God.

But God could not stand being separated from mankind because our sin clashed negatively with his righteousness, so he sent Jesus to build a bridge for us back to him.

Again, I digress. Whether you identify yourself as a believer or not, God holds you to certain standards of behavior. If you are a believer, reading this post, God holds you to even higher standards of behavior. I have quite a number of life Bible verses, learned in High School, some to use as sources of encouragement and healing, and others to guide me in the way I live, one of them is Jesus’ words in Luke 6:31, “Do to others as you would have them do to you”, in other words, treat others the way you want to be treated by them.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to admonish; admonish especially believers, including myself, to work at being a person who lives like Jesus lived. I have worked at living by Luke 6:31, yet I have found that on many occasions, people do not reciprocate my kindness, consideration and my cordiality, rather they try to take advantage of it. This does not discredit Jesus’ words, though, it just confirms that the heart of man is desperately wicked’, because I have also found some people to reciprocate my kindness and cordiality wig even more kindness, generosity and cordiality. Those, I believe, are friendships I have made having God as it’s foundation, ‘good-lifelong’ friendships.’

The bottom line is, God is watching, not just our behaviors, but also our hearts. I have a blog post about motives. Sometimes, I wonder ‘why’ ; ‘why am I continually considerate, kind and cordial?’ ‘Am I that way only because I want ‘good’ friends or because I want others to be considerate, kind and cordial towards me? Better yet, do I behave considerately, kindly and cordially because I love Jesus and want to do what he says, or is there another motive? Another Bible verse I live by is Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked, a man reaps what he sows.” In other words, people who sow kindness, reap kindness; using a farming analogy, if you sow green beans, you cannot reap carrots or even brown beans! It works the same way in life, you don’t usually reap meanness from kindness and compassion, except in unusual instances where emotions like jealousy and envy prevail, and vice versa, it is abnormal to reap compassion from sowing rudeness. Bottom line, God sees all, and he fights for the ‘oppressed’ and the ‘ill-treated’. We always reap what we sow. There is no tricking God, he looks right past our actions into our hearts and he knows why we do what we do, why we behave the way we behave. And as much as he does not ‘smite’ us down for sinning, we will face the consequences of our actions. Remember Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked, a man reaps what he does.” So why do ‘bad’things happen to ‘good’people? How come my consideration and kindness is usually met with unkindness, and inconsideration? I have a theory: perhaps my motives for being kind and considerate were not to please God, but I don’t know, do I make myself ‘appear’ to be ‘good’,’godly’ and ‘righteous’? Or have I developed those characteristics of Christ? One great big lesson I’m learning is that when it comes to God, it all boils down to the heart. The point of this entire post, though is ‘watch yourself’ “God cannot be mocked’ and ‘a man reaps what he sows’ it is sad that many ‘Christians’ believe that because God is forgiving, and we are living in the period of grace, they can do whatever, and escape the consequences because God is forgiving. Sometimes I wonder if people, if (I )truly understand what ‘repentance’ is all about.

Yes, God forgives and picks us up every time we fall, but why live in the viscious cycle of sin, ‘repentance’, andforgiveness? We gotta do better, how can we be good examples and great representatives of Christ if we’re living in a viscious cycle? We(I’ve) got to strive to be better! The great news is that in Christ, we don’t have to strive to be perfect in our own strength, we have the Holy Spirit to help us live right.

As the world stands at the edge of a global pandemic event, the people who are immune to the effects of lies have an opportunity to take action should the virus continue to expand beyond the borders of China. We have a small window of time, perhaps a couple of months, in which we can prepare ourselves for the fallout and ensure we are as protected as we can be. This means taking precautions to prevent viral transmission, increasing the strength of our own immune systems, prepping for the loss of supply lines and freight shipments to retailers, organizing family, friends and neighbors for mutual aid and security, as well as preparing for the inevitable government attempts at martial law.

Of course, a person cannot or will not take any of these measures as long as they believe that the virus is not a threat, or they think that the pandemic will have little effect on their daily lives. I have recently seen a discomforting level of propaganda and disinformation agents invading the media and discussion boards related to this issue. Whenever I see such an intense disinformation campaign surrounding an event, this tells me a couple of things:

1) If they are trying to overtly downplay the seriousness of the event while lying about the facts involved, it tells me that the event is a legitimate threat and it will probably get worse as time passes.

2) If they all push the same false narrative and talking points it tells me that this is an organized effort paid for by a larger party with extensive resources.

If the narrative glosses over or hides recently revealed evidence by claiming that the event is “all hype”, then it is designed to create inaction in the public – It is designed to make us apathetic, which means there is a concerted conspiracy to harm us. It is not just an attempt to hide the guilt of the people involved in creating the crisis.

So what are some of the most insidious lies being spread right now on the virus threat? Lets go through a quick list of those I've identified so far:

Lie #1: Deaths Caused By The Coronavirus Are Nothing Compared To The Death Rate Of The Average Flu...

This lie seems to be the most common being used to plant seeds of apathy in the public consciousness right now. I have even heard people on the street regurgitate it verbatim as they try to convince themselves that all is well. But even using official numbers, which are likely false and greatly reduced, the argument is simply wrong on every level.

There is a big difference between “number of deaths” and the actual “death rate” of a virus. The flu infects tens of millions of people annually around the world with deaths in the US numbering usually under 10,000. In the US in the 2019-2020 season so far, the flu infected over 9 million people resulting in 4800 deaths; meaning the death rate of the flu is minor compared to the number of sick. Flu deaths are usually collated over the course of a year, yet people are already trying to compare death rates to the coronavirus, which has only been active for a few weeks.

Keep in mind also that the CDC has been called out for greatly inflating influenza death rates in order to push vaccine propaganda. They consistently attach flu death numbers with pneumonia deaths; which I would point is is the exact OPPOSITE of what the Chinese are doing with the coronavirus numbers.

The coronavirus has been active for about a month in China, it has a hibernation of around two weeks, and, China has been lying extensively about the number of deaths associated with the disease by labeling most deaths due to pneumonia. We truly have no idea what the potential death rate of this illness is. What we do know is that it behaves much like SARS, which had a death rate of around 11%. According to official numbers the coronavirus transmits faster and has already killed more people in a few weeks than SARS did in over a year.

The notion that the virus only kills the elderly is also incorrect. The two deaths now confirmed outside of China were both men in their 30's and 40's.

When considering the issue of viral death rate, we have to take into account the capacity of local medical facilities in handling patient load. If hospitals are only handling a few cases at a time, then the patients will get better overall treatment and less deaths will occur. But, if hospitals are overwhelmed with thousands of cases at a time, as is happening in China, then treatment quality will go down and many more people will die. A minimal death rate outside of China today does not mean a minimal death rate tomorrow should the virus spread beyond hospital capacity.

With the flu, people can usually treat themselves with ease at home; the coronavirus is obviously much more dangerous. No country in modern times has EVER quarantined over 50 million people in 16 cities because of the average flu. The comparison between the coronavirus and the flu is patently ridiculous. There is no comparison. The coronavirus is on another level entirely.

Lie #2: The Coronavirus Came From An Animal Market And The Claim It Is Engineered Is A “Conspiracy Theory”...

The phrase “conspiracy theory” is usually exploited as a way to dismiss facts and evidence without consideration on the basis that the official story is the only story that has any validity. In other words, the official story requires no justification because the authorities are infallible and always have our best interests at heart.

The problem is, governments and the mainstream media have been caught lying over and over again about issues far less important than a global pandemic, so I'm not sure why we should trust ANYTHING they say ever. There is considerable evidence that China has been lying incessantly about the number of sick and dead due to the coronavirus, including leaked accounts from medics and other people at ground zero in Wuhan. These people are now being silenced by the Chinese government. In fact, the Chinese government was suppressing coverage and information on the coronavirus from the very beginning of the contagion, which helped allow it to spread unchecked.

Now, social media companies are taking action to remove people who try to document the facts of the virus and its potential source in the name of "stopping fake news". Anyone who questions the official narrative is not only a "conspiracy theorist" but also a "danger" to the public. This narrative is supported by US government officials:

"These lies can cause immediate and tangible harm to people, and the platforms must act to stop them from spreading," House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone Jr. (D-N.J.) said in a statement to The Hill. "It’s critical that Americans receive verified, trustworthy information about the coronavirus and heed the advice of our country’s public health officials as we learn more about its potential impact here at home..."

The facts are the facts, and if the facts suggest a conspiracy, then so be it. Only 20 miles away from the market in question stands the LARGEST Level 4 Biohazard Lab in Asia, which studies directly into the world's deadliest pathogens including SARS and coronavirus. In 2017, experts warned that a virus could escape the labs in Wuhan because of lax containment standards. To put this in perspective, it would be like an Ebola outbreak striking the city of Atlanta and then blamed on a food market only 20 miles from the CDC. It looks suspicious...

Last year, Chinese researchers were dismissed from a Level 4 lab in Winnipeg, Canada without public explanation, but the same lab was exposed last year for sharing deadly virus samples with China, including Ebola and henipavirus. One of the Chinese researchers work focus was the SARS virus. Media and government attention in Canada at the time of the scandal was on concerns that the lab in Winnipeg was supplying viral samples that would be used in China's biowarfare programs.

According to a paper published by virologists in India, the coronavirus genetic code also contains proteins that are exactly like those found in HIV. Interestingly, coronavirus patients have been shown to respond positively to drugs that are meant to treat HIV and AIDS carriers. Through official pressure the paper has now been retracted and the authors have said they will “revise it". But, the whole point of peer review is for the data to be examined by others in the field and then proven or disproven. If the data can be reproduced, then it needs to be taken seriously.

This is not what the CDC and other official institutions on disease study want. They seem intent on dismissing any information outright that suggests the coronavirus might have been made in a lab rather than in nature.

If true, the chances of coronavirus containing protein combinations identical to HIV in nature are astronomical, meaning, the virus was engineered. If the virus is proven to be engineered, then this makes future narratives and propaganda harder to implement. For example, it will be much harder to blame the pandemic on "global warming" if the virus was created by a bunch of guys in lab coats rather than in nature.

To repeat the facts, Wuhan is a hub for China's largest biohazard labs and these labs are suspected by biological warfare experts of being involved in bioweapons testing. Until there is more independent examination of the virus (the original strain before mutation), no one knows for certain what the source is.

The mainstream media has been very aggressive in denying any links to bioweaponry, claiming that there “is no evidence” linking Wuhan's labs to the virus; yet, there is FAR MORE evidence of the involvement of the biohazard labs than there is evidence proving that the virus originated an animal market. They have simply decided that the animal market story is the tale they prefer, and so it has become the official story.

Lie #3: The Virus Won't Have Any Effect On America The general thrust of the mainstream view of the coronavirus has been to assert that the US will not be affected and that concerns are "overblown". The UN's World Health Organization continues to refuse to take the event very seriously, and even Larry Kudlow, Trump's Director of the National Economic Council, claims the damage to the US economy will be 'minimal'.

Now, firstly I have to say I would take the economic analysis of a long time cocaine addict with a grain of salt. This is the same guy who was wildly incorrect in all his calls on the housing bubble in 2005-2006, and yet he is now advising the White House on financial crisis events? But lets set the incompetence of Kudlow aside for a moment and consider that perhaps he is just reading from a script prepared for him by others. Certainly, there are a lot of people out there that would like to keep the public ignorant of the depth of the situation, and they will give all sorts of half-assed rationales as to why they lie.

For the Chinese authorities, the pandemic is an undeniable fact of life, but they will say their economy and global image required the truth to be “tempered” to prevent civil unrest and to stop investors pulling from their money out of Chinese markets en masse.

For US authorities who waited far too long to start shutting down flights from China carrying multiple infected, the claim will be that they had to lie to prevent general panic and market panic.

For the UN's World Health Organization that lied about China “containment” and actually downplayed the danger of travel to China for a time while the virus was raging and human-to-human transmission was confirmed, I see no excuse really. Their behavior, and the behavior of the US and Chinese governments makes me suspect that they WANT the pandemic to spread.

As I write this the 11th confirmed case of coronavirus has been identified in the US with many more suspected cases still under observation. Obviously, the virus is here already, but the issue of how much it will affect Americans is being diminished or buried in an endless stream of propaganda.

Given enough time, a viral outbreak that spreads as fast as the coronavirus with a death rate of 5% or more is going to cause negative effects in every facet of the US economy. But in our current window of the progression of the pandemic, I think it's important to point out that even if the death rate is low in the US, there is no escaping the economic consequences attached to this event.

The US economy is interdependent with multiple nations, and is tightly connected to China. The greatest danger of globalism in terms of economics is that it forces national economies into losing the redundancies that protect them from systemic collapse. When one major economy goes down, it brings down all other economies with it.

Not only that, but the US financial structure is precariously unstable anyway, with record levels of national debt, consumer debt and corporate debt, not to mention steep declines in manufacturing and demand. The US sits atop one of the most massive economic bubbles of all time – The Everything Bubble, created by the Federal Reserve over ten years of stimulus measures, barely keeping the system alive in a state of zombification.

The bubble was always going to collapse. In fact, recent events in Fed repo markets suggest it was already collapsing. The coronavirus outbreak is a perfect cover event for this implosion. To understand why a collapse event might be preferred by a certain minority of people within the elitist establishment, read my last article 'How Viral Pandemic Benefits The Globalist Agenda'.

As I have argued for the past couple of years, all that is needed to bring down the US economy is one major trigger event. The idea that a global pandemic would not damage the American system already teetering on the edge of the abyss is simply absurd. This event has the capacity to cause crisis around the world, not just in China.

Lie #4: The Virus Is Contained You are going to hear this lie often in the next month or two. I've heard it several times already from Chinese and US authorities in the past few weeks, and clearly their definition of the word "contained" must be different from mine.

China's official sickness count and death toll rises exponentially by the day, and this is not accounting for the number of sick and dead they are hiding. Over 50 million people are now in forced quarantine and martial law measures have been implemented. Hong Kong's hopes of containment have been dashed and officials now expect the outbreak to grow worse in the region.

Japan just announced that a man carrying the virus boarded a cruise liner and then departed, infecting at least ten people in the process and forcing the ship into quarantine for the next two weeks.

A woman in Santa Clara, California carrying the virus came back from China and had been in the US for around 10 DAYS before the illness was identified. Meaning, every single person she came in contact with in that time is now a potential carrier, and for the next two weeks they won't know they are contagious. These are just a few examples of why it is foolish to write off this situation as "contained"; you cannot contain what you cannot identify.

The disinformation campaign seems designed to hide the true source of the virus, but also to keep the masses lethargic and inactive. We are meant to sit and wait while the virus and the potential economic catastrophe runs us over. Do not fall for the con; prepare accordingly, and never accept what lying governments and mainstream media outlets tell you as the whole truth. It is better to take precautions you might not need than to be found very stupid and desperate down the road because the "experts" told you it was all hype.

The world today suffers from highly fragile economic and geopolitical conditions. This is not news to most people in the liberty movement that have been tracking the downward spiral for years, but it is news to a majority of average Americans who rarely venture to get in-depth information on any issue. The fact of the matter is, even though there are millions of us who are aware of the danger, we are still in a minority.

This creates a serious set of frustrations. When the common citizen is oblivious to the existence of a threat, trying to explain to them the source of that threat becomes a waste of time. How can they see the root of the problem if they don't even know the problem is there?

Yes, the world is on the verge of a violent sea-change, but this is not the most important issue. The most important issue is that this precarious situation is not the product of random chance, simple greed, base human frailty or an "overly complex" system as mainstream experts will predictably claim; it is a deliberately engineered chaos box designed to serve the interests of a select few.

The globalist agenda is complicated in design but simple in its goals: Order out of chaos. Create or exploit every crisis to manipulate the public into consenting. But consent for what?

As Richard N. Gardner, former deputy assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations under Kennedy and Johnson, and a member of the Trilateral Commission, wrote in the April, 1974 issue of the Council on Foreign Relation’s (CFR) journal Foreign Affairs (pg. 558) in an article titled 'The Hard Road To World Order':

"In short, the ‘house of world order’ will have to be built from the bottom up rather than from the top down. It will look like a great ‘booming, buzzing confusion,’ to use William James’ famous description of reality, but an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault.”

Global pandemic, whether a natural event or deliberately engineered, actually serves the purposes of the globalist establishment in a number of ways. First and foremost, it is a superb distraction. The general public, overcome with fears of an invisible force of nature that can possibly kill them at any moment, will probably forget all about the much bigger threat to their life, liberty and future – the subsequent collapse of the massive 'Everything Bubble' and the globalist "solution" that a pandemic can trigger.

The coronavirus is only a moderate threat in comparison to economic crisis. That said, I want to confront a few issues concerning the virus itself before we get to the economic question.

Virus Disinformation

I have seen a lot of delusional assumptions and outright disinformation being spread by people in regards to this potential pandemic. First, the notion that it was caused by Chinese citizens “eating bats” or being exposed to a live animal market is rather ridiculous. We've seen NO hard evidence whatsoever that this is true, and I believe the narrative is a cover for the fact that the city of Wuhan where the virus outbreak began is the home of not one but TWO level 4 biohazard labs.

I have a hard time ignoring the strange “coincidence” of the high level biohazard labs in Wuhan in favor of the idea that the virus was launched by chance due to the odd diets of central Chinese people. Given the evidence it appears that the coronavirus was gestated in a lab, not in someone's bat and snake soup. In 2017, scientists outside of China warned that these labs were not secure and that a virus might escape one of the facilities.

I would use the term “escape” loosely, as there is a possibility that this event was created intentionally. The virus itself has certain hallmarks of being engineered (including its long dormant period without visible symptoms) and the current strain is probably derived from the one the Chinese stole a year ago from a lab in Winnipeg, Canada.

But it gets even weirder.

Only three months ago, John Hopkins, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Economic Forum (a hive of self-professed globalists) ran a "pandemic simulation" called "Event 201" specifically focused on Coronavirus. Not Ebola, or Swine Flu or even Avian Flu - but CORONAVIRUS. The simulation features the spread of coronavirus in South America, blamed on animal to human transmission (pigs). The conclusion of the exercise was that national governments were nowhere near ready, scoring 40 out of 100 on their preparedness scale. The simulation projected over 65 million deaths worldwide.

Event 201 played out almost exactly as it has been in China today. Some very disingenuous or perhaps rather stupid people have been arguing that this kind of thing is "normal", claiming that we are "lucky" that the elites have been running simulations in advance in order to "save us" from a coronavirus outbreak. I assert that Event 201 was not a simulation but a war-game to study the possible outcomes of an event the globalists already knew was coming. Set aside the fact that before almost every major crisis event and terrorist attack for the past few decades authorities were running simulations for that exact event right before it happened; does anyone really believe that Event 201 is pure coincidence?

Another false assumption that needs to be addressed is the idea that a viral threat will not strike the West, or at least, not the US. This odd bias is one that I don't think most cultures except Americans suffer from; the belief that they are untouchable and that the system will always avert crisis. From the responses I have been seeing lately many Americans are living in a fantasy world. Even now, the investment world is placing full stock and hope in the prediction that the Federal Reserve will step in to disrupt any economic downturn related to the pandemic.

Even if the Fed intended to intervene, why would anyone be naive enough to believe the central bank can do anything about how a viral outbreak damages the economy? Central banks can do nothing but create debt, and debt will not beat back the coronavirus.

In terms of delusional optimism on the pandemic itself, the arguments range from “screening of travelers is too comprehensive to allow the virus to spread here” and “as long as the virus destroys China, who cares...?” This is a narrow view of the situation.

The screening process is terrible, and usually involves basic questions which can be evaded with lies. But beyond that, the virus is already here. It was circulating through China for at least a few weeks before it was ever addressed by government authorities or the CDC. It also is reported to be asymptomatic, which means it remains dormant, yet also contagious, for up to two weeks before symptoms become visible. This is a far worse scenario than the ebola scare in 2014, in that the coronavirus is able to hide effectively. The only thing that can be done to slow the spread is to shut down ALL international travel, which the CDC and the WHO have no intention of doing right now, not that it matters anymore with over 110 suspected cases in the US already.

So, let's be realistic. If the virus is as communicable as the CDC and independent scientists claim, then we will see the effects here in America.

Never Let A Good Crisis Go To Waste...

But what do globalists have to gain directly from a coronavirus pandemic beyond simple chaos that can be exploited?

Interestingly, a representative from Johnson and Johnson, one of the companies that may end up designing a "vaccine" for the Cronavirus, suggested during Event 201 that a "centralized" global economic authority in charge of funding and procuring vaccines for various nations in crisis was an option for solving the pandemic.

Gee, that sounds strangely similar to what globalists have been demanding for many years now, and the pandemic just happens to offer a perfect excuse for the creation of such a one-world financial authority. They might claim that such a system would be temporary according to the life of the pandemic, but this will be a lie.

In terms of the economic effects, even if the virus were to stay primarily in China, the Chinese economy is, in basic terms, the largest in the world; it is the biggest exporter/importer and it is central to the now interdependent global economy. If China's economy goes down, even for a short time, this will send shockwaves through all other national economies and supply lines.

In May of last year I published an article titled 'Globalists Only Need One More Major Event To Finish Sabotaging The Economy'. To summarize the situation:

The globalist establishment has created the largest financial bubble in modern history through central bank stimulus, inflating a highly unstable artificial rally in markets while also creating new highs in national debt, corporate debt and consumer debt. The economic fundamentals have been sending alarms for the past two years, and the 'Everything Bubble' is showing signs of implosion. It is only a matter of time before the farce collapses by itself. The globalists need scapegoats, but they also need an event or wave of events so distracting that people will not be able to discern what really happened.

The reason why globalists want a collapse is simple - They need crisis in order to manipulate the masses into accepting total centralization, a global monetary system and global governance. They are also rabid believers in eugenics and population reduction. At the very least, a global pandemic is a useful happenstance for them; but the timing of the coronavirus event and their highly accurate "simulation" only three months ago also suggests their potential involvement, as it comes right as the implosion of the Everything Bubble was accelerating.

Consider this: Even if a pandemic does not kill a large number of people, it still disrupts international travel, it disrupts exports and imports, it disrupts consumer behavior and retail sales, and it disrupts domestic trade. If it does kill a large number of people, and if the Chinese government's response is any indication, it could result in global martial law. With many economies including the US economy already in a precarious balancing act of historic debt vs. crashing demand and useless central bank repo market intervention, there is little chance that the system can withstand such a tsunami.

Make no mistake, the crash has already begun, whether the virus hits the US hard or not. The only question is, will this be the trigger event that accelerates the collapse process that is already in motion?

I took my time in publishing this article because I believed it was important to first watch the Chinese, CDC and WHO response to the virus. If they dealt with the situation quickly then there was a chance that it would have only minor influence on the financial system. They did not deal with the situation quickly or decisively. In fact, over 5 million people left the Hubei region of China before active quarantine and treatment procedures began. The situation has spiraled out of control in China and it is clear that the government is now lying through its teeth about the number of sick and dead.

I would not be surprised if we discover in the next two weeks that the death tally is in the thousands, and the sickness rate is actually in the hundreds of thousands. The fact that China has now quarantined over 50 million people in 16 cities suggests the danger is much higher than they have admitted. If this is the case, then at the very least, the Chinese economy is about to take a massive hit. If the virus doesn't spread, the economic damage will.

Pandemic Smokescreen, Economic Collapse And "Climate Change"

Look at it this way – The US and China are still currently in the middle of a trade war. The Phase 1 deal was always a joke, because it demands that China quadruple its purchases from the US within the next 1-2 years. This was never going to happen, but the false hope (along with corporate stock buybacks) lifted global stocks out of reversal. Now, there is no chance that China will meet the requirements of the Phase 1 deal and that will soon become evident, as China's economy will grind down under the weight of the pandemic.

If Trump continues tariffs against a nation in the state of a viral emergency he will look like a monster (which I believe is his job as a globalist puppet pretending to be a conservative nationalist). In the meantime, global trade becomes muddled and the last structural supports of the system snap in half.

With global supply lines frozen and travel eventually restricted, trade will stall. There is no way around this. This is not just about China, it is about all nations. And, ultimately, this is not even about the coronavirus, it is about the financial time bomb that the globalist establishment created. It is about our economic interdependency and the house of cards we have become. In the wake of calamity, the globalists will call for even MORE interdependency. They will claim tragedy struck because we were not "centralized enough".

Another advantage of the viral crisis is that the establishment will undoubtedly blame the "climate change" and "global warming" hoax for its impetus. Even though there is absolutely no concrete evidence linking human carbon emissions to climate change or viral outbreaks, given enough public fear globalists will attempt to link the three things together as if it is a proven fact. Not only will they have a rationale for an economic collapse THEY created, but they can also present a virus engineered by humans in a lab as an "act of nature", and use it as a rationale for implementing carbon controls

In the next issue of my Wild Bunch Dispatch Newsletter I will be outlining solutions and preparedness options for surviving a pandemic scenario; all is not lost if this event does accelerate as the globalists predicted in their Event 201 model. It is still hard to say with certainty, but this appears to be the “black swan” that the globalists were waiting for (or planning) all along. Remaining vigilant in terms of the pandemic is recommended, but do not forget about the economic disaster that will inevitably follow as the coronavirus continues to spread.

The death of the 34-year-old doctor, Li Wenliang, set off an outpouring of grief and anger on social media, with commenters on social media demanding an apology from the authorities to Li and his family.

Last week, Elsie Chen, a New York Times researcher working with correspondents Chris Buckley and Steven Lee Myers, interviewed Li. He caught the virus from a patient and was hospitalized when Chen interviewed him Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, via the WeChat social media platform.

Here are some edited and condensed excerpts from the interview.

Q: When did you first realize that this new virus was highly contagious? It seemed that you hadn’t taken any precautions when you were infected.

A: I knew it when the patient I came in contact with infected her family, and I was infected right afterward. Thus I discovered it was highly contagious. The patient had no symptoms, so I got careless.

Q: On Dec. 31, when you told people in the WeChat group about the SARS-like virus, did you do so because you had seen the high risk of human-to-human transmission?

A: I suspected that, and it’s always better to be cautious and take protective measures.

Q: Why were you so suspicious at that point? Had you already received any news or heard anything?

A: Because there were already patients being treated under quarantine.

Q: Was that at the end of December?

A: Yes.

Q: Were there other doctors who shared the information and reminded others to protect themselves from this mysterious pneumonia?

A: There were discussions among our colleagues.

Q: What was everybody talking about? How did they evaluate the situation at that point?

A: It was that SARS might come back. We needed to be ready for it mentally. Take protective measures.

Q: Looking back at what has happened, do you think the situation would be very different now if the Wuhan government hadn’t stopped you from warning others and sharing the information? Do you think it would have been better if the information had been more public and transparent, for the public and for doctors?

A: If the officials had disclosed information about the epidemic earlier, I think it would have been a lot better. There should be more openness and transparency.

Q: How did you feel when the police accused you of spreading rumors?

A: The police believed this virus was not confirmed to be SARS. They believed I was spreading rumors. They asked me to acknowledge that I was at fault.

I felt I was being wronged, but I had to accept it. Obviously I had been acting out of goodwill. I felt very sad seeing so many people losing their loved ones.

Q: Why did you decide to become a doctor? What made you proud to be one? Can you say anything about your family?

A: I thought it was a very stable job. Lately, patient-doctor relationships have soured. I am happy as long as my patients are satisfied with their treatment.

My older child is 4 years and 10 months old. The younger one is still unborn, due in June. I miss my family. I talk to them by video.

Q: How long will it take you to recover? What do you plan to do afterward?

A: I started coughing on Jan. 10. It will take me another 15 days or so to recover. I will join medical workers in fighting the epidemic. That’s where my responsibilities lie.

lucifer is only here after being banished from his own world during the time of the dinosaurs. he didn’t even create the earth. it was already here. truthfully, lucifer is a fae / faery. he was banished by his queen tbn after an ongoing dispute reached boiling point. there is a version of humans where lucifer is from as well as morgan’s mother heather. they were the superior magic users when lucifer was in his homeworld, but they were terribly cruel and savage towards the other races. lucifer tried to start an uprising against the humans with many other magical creatures. but the queen insisted it was not yet time. the result left him with his wings being torn and sent away to earth.

demons are a result of lucifer’s first failed attempts to make man for his own companionship. and although they often turned cruel and manipulative, due to manifestations of his own anger at the fae queen during the creation process, he protected them deep underground in hell when the meteor came to wipe out the dinos. for this they have always been deeply loyal to lucifer and do as he asks of them. they may be assholes, but it is controlled to a degree.

Adam and Eve were the first two humans successfully created by Lucifer. And they were created equally, there was also no evil snake and stupid apple test involved. These are all man made stories of which he has no idea where they come from. apples didn’t even exist when adam and ever were made. anyway, adam turned out to be an asshole, and eve decided she actually preferred lucifer to adam. pissed about this, adam swore vengeance and tried to poison lucifer. it ultimately failed. adam was banished from the garden and eve lived in it with lucifer quite happily. Eve was not truly 100% human like we know. She was more like the one’s from his home world. A sort of fae / human crossover. the earth humans still came about from evolution.

But as the world began to slowly grow again many mannnnnyyyyy years after the meteor. Eve became unwell as her body could not quite cope with the environmental changes happening around her. Lucifer became enraged and thought to smite the world for taking his love away, but Eve pleaded with him to let the world be, to grow, to thrive, and that there would be more love for him to experience. Eve died happily and at peace much to Lucifer’s sadness.

He mourned for a long time but still explored this new world at Eve’s dying insistence. He helped the early people learn to create fire and shapes, build societies. but he also witnessed war and was horribly reminded of his own homeland constantly at war with someone over something.

as people grew and moved out over the planet creating civilisations, making the world their own. lucifer drew back to that first underworld place where he had sheltered the demons. a place that would come to one day be named hell. he started to create his own world there, far beneath the surface. one much like the world above. during its creation, lucifer was one day informed that humans from the surface were showing up in the demon’s space. upon further inspection it was clear the humans were dead and that for some reason they were unable to leave this place. lucifer has never truly discovered why his earth home became the place for the dead. it just did. he does research into it but has no solid theories as of yet.

lucifer’s next relationship concludes in the birth of Jesus, yes, Jesus. Lucifer is the father of a boy named Jesus who can perform miracles. Mary is his mother and Joseph his stepfather. Lucifer enters a polyamorous relationship with the two at some point after meeting them on one of his earth travels promised to eve. they are free spirited and mary is an outcast like himself.

when jesus is born, lucifer visits him from time to time as well as his lovers, but he is a busy being and hell has become a priority as well as managing the demons. he only learns of jesus’ death when he turns up in hell one day after over exerting his healing powers so much that they ultimately used up his life force. lucifer is devastated at once again not being able to save someone he loves. he doesn’t see mary or joseph again for shame of it all.

Hell is not the christian hell we think of. it doesn’t just contain the souls of bad people. it contains the souls of ALL the dead. there just happens to be shitty demons there that were there first and a grumpy old fae that is fucking tired of them all. hell is just an eternal continuation of your earth life....which in hindsight can be considered hell for many. if you commit a crime in hell you suffer for it which is now the demon’s primary function. they do operate on earth too as servants of magic users. they are essentially free agents to do as they please. lucifer is running this show on his own and can only do so much to keep things under control even if he is a very powerful being.

meeting morgan when he prayed for satan to take away his abusive father was coincidence. but it intrigued the tired fae for children never prayed to satan of all people! by this time he had become a demonised character in religion. it didn’t really bother him. some demons probably bs’d the whole thing to gain some wealth of treasure. think of it as a shitty tabloid that makes up stupid stories to sell more copies and get more money. demon’s sold lucifer out to humans to make a buck because it was just in their nature to do bad things.

lucifer is a very neutral being. he’s not especially evil, he’s not especially good. he’s too old and tired for earth bs. but morgan intrigued him in being one of the first children to pray to him. he answered after morgan began insulting him in prayer because he was failing to get results. and it was true, god did nothing when people prayed, because god didn’t exist. all they really had was him. a being from another world. trapped there without his wings.

after responding to morgan and scaring the shit out of him in the process. he kept an eye on the child swiftly growing into an adult that was so interested in following teachings he had never even really endorsed, practicing magic that even he didn’t truly know where it came from. but the people that professed to be followers of the lord satan reminded him of something from a long time ago. they reminded him of himself---rebelling against conformity and injustice. choosing to live their lives and they saw fit and not how society deemed it fit. he slowly became more involved with the ‘satanists’ and even began to enjoy getting attention after so long of being alone. morgan was especially attentive in his worship and had become a beautiful being from the scared child he met in a pantry years before.

though there is flirtation between the two and brief moments of passion over the centuries. the two don’t embark on a real relationship until james abandons morgan and irvine after causing the death of his other son. he sees morgan at a very low point and unable to really look after irvine properly because of their emotional state. lucifer offers a rare hand of kindness to make morgan the queen of hell in exchange for helping him run the place with their vast magical knowledge. stunned, morgan agrees. running hell, marrying lucifer, and keeping an eye on irvine keeps them distracted from thinking about james’ betrayal as much. plus, lucifer grows fond of irvine quickly. helping to raise him as if irvine was his own son. lucifer becomes aware of james searching for morgan and irvine, but never says anything of it for many years. the two start to grow apart in the early 20th century and morgan takes a break, leaving hell to go live in new york with irvine. the two amicably separate after some time though a divorce has never taken place.

lucifer’s has another blood child that is thought to be the anti-christ. but it is once again more demon and human propaganda collaboration. not much more if known about him at this point.

The Back Parts of God

"And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend..." (Exodus 33:11)

"And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: and it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: and I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts; but my face shall not be seen." (Exodus 33:20-23)

Comment

In verse 11 we read that God spoke to Moses, face-to-face. Yet in seeming contradiction, we have later God telling Moses that he cannot see His face. Instead, God decides to show Moses his back parts! "Back parts" of course serves as a euphemism for "ass". In other words, God here says to Moses "thou shalt see my ass."

I'll leave it to the readers to ponder the possible sexual orientation of God as he shows Moses his bare bottom.

Beasts In Heaven

"And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHICH WAS, AND IS , AND IS TO COME." (Revelation 4:6-8)

Comment

Here we have a rare description of heaven where it appears frightening with strange beasts. One cannot help to think that it seems more a description of Hell than a heaven.

The Brethren Of Jesus

"After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren, and his disciples: and they continued there not many days." (John 2:12)

Comment

This verse describes Jesus and his brethren. Jesus Christ's blood-related siblings directly contradicts the Catholic concept of the life-long virginity of the mother Mary. Some Christians have attempted to defend this contradiction by pointing out that brethren has two meanings: it could mean brothers, from the same parents, or it could mean colleagues or friends. Note, however, that the use of the word "disciples" suggests that brothers and disciples constitute two separate groups. Therefore, brethren must mean brothers in this context.

Note also that Mark 6:3 mentions brothers and sisters that can only mean blood siblings.

Also, nowhere in the Gospel of John or Mark does it mention Jesus' birth or Mary as a virgin. Considering that a virgin birth of the Son of God would seem of utmost importance, it appears rather odd that these Gospels do not mention it.

Christ With Horns

"And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." (Revelation 5:6)

Comment

Biblical scholars agree that "a Lamb" refers to the crucified Christ. Strangely, Jesus here appears to look devilish with horns and multiple eyes.

How can this description of heaven inspire an image of a peaceful afterlife with all these ghastly beasts and spirits about? (See also Rev. 4)

It should come to no surprise where some early Gnostic cults got the idea that, not only the Church, but Jesus represented Satan and the embodiment of Evil.

And who do the literalists claim as the "seven Spirits of God"?

Christ's Temper

"And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; And said unto them that sold doves, 'Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.'" (John 2:14-16)

Comment

Here we have Jesus' temper and violence showing. It must have taken considerable fortitude to drive all the moneychangers out and then have the nerve to pour their money out and turn over their tables. Consider what would happen today if a man entered a Church bake sale and threw everyone out and violently turned over the tables. No doubt the police would come and throw him in the slammer.

Jesus served as Hitler's role model. Here Hitler referred to the verse in one of his speeches:

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before in the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice.... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people.... When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those by whom to-day this poor people is plundered and exploited. Curse The Earth

"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch." (Malachi 4:1)

"And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts." (Malachi 4:3)

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Malachi 4:5-6)

Comment

This last chapter of Malachi ends the book of the Old Testament.

One would think it might end with a flourish of enlightenment. Instead we get fear of burning to death and can only look forward to the dreadful day of the Lord. With all the horrors recorded in the Bible, perhaps it should not surprise anyone to see the Old Testament end with the word "curse."

Evil From God

"Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good? Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?" (Lamentations 3: 38-39)

Comment

Here we have the little known verse that plainly asserts that evil as well as good comes from the mouth of God. At the same time, men who possess God given evil must endure punishment for God's cruel gift.

The Evil Spirit Of The Lord, 1

"And it came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him." (I Samuel 16:23)

Comment

Here it specifically describes an evil spirit from God!

What religious killer could not also view this passage as justification for his evil nature?

Note that many murderers and serial killers have attributed the Biblical God to the reason for their slaughters. If the Religious Right feels so adamant about eliminating violence and pornography from secular literature, then why have they not seen that the Bible has influenced more deaths and atrocities than any other literature in the history of mankind?

The Evil Spirit Of The Lord, 2

"And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand." (I Samuel 19:9)

Comment

Consider that many modern Judeo-Christians consider God the opposite of evil, yet here we have, again, the clear Biblical wording of evil coming from the LORD.

In early Christian history, several Gnostic cults believed that the orthodox Church as well as the Old Testament, came from Satan. The Church, of course, labeled these Gnostics as heretics and burned their books as well as the heretics themselves.

Reading the Old Testament appears to affirm the observation that God and Satan, if not one in the same, at least work as a team.

Get Thee Behind Me Satan

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church..." (Matthew 16:18)

But he turned, and said unto Peter. Get thee behind me Satan: thou art an offence unto me. for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of man. (Matthew 16:23)

Comment

Many believers think that when Jesus said "Get thee behind me," he had spoken this only to Satan (as in Luke 4:8). Not so.

Many Catholics feel honored to belong to the original church established by Jesus. To this day, Catholics acknowledge Peter as the first Pope, the "rock" that Jesus built his church upon. But in just five verses later, amazingly, we have Jesus calling Peter, Satan. Did Satan really pose as the first Pope or did Jesus simply vilify again? Can you imagine a business owner promoting a man to a job, and then just after the promotion, arguing about his job qualifications? Jesus seems to have a poor sense of delegating duty to the right person here. Furthermore soon before Jesus died, Peter denied knowing Jesus (note, the cock crowed on the first denial, according to Mark 14:66-72 not after the third as the alleged Jesus soothsayed in John 13:38). If the faithful should believe the Church's beginning came from someone who offended and denied Jesus, then perhaps it should also give them reason why the Catholic church seemed to act so demoniacally in their instigation of holy wars, inquisitions and anti-Semitism throughout history. In any case, we should question Jesus' choice for the "rock."

God Creates Evil And Peace

"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Isaiah 45:7)

Comment

Here it explicitly states that God creates evil as well as makes peace. Considering that since the invention of man-made religions there has always existed war, it appears that God likes war more than peace.

The Final Lie

"Surely, I come quickly." (Revelation 22:20)

Comment

The last words of Jesus in the Bible.

It has been two thousand years, and Jesus has not come back, hence he did not come quickly. Therefore, this represents either proof of the falsehood of the Bible or that Jesus lied. And who represents the Great Liar in Christian thought? See "Jesus reveals himself."

Fire From The Lord

"AND Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD." (Leviticus 10:1-2)

Comment

In Sunday school, many children learn that Satan lives within and uses fire, yet here we have fire coming out of God to devour two young men to death. Their only crime came from offering before God a "strange fire." Although no one knows what the term "strange fire" means, it seems improbable that it could deserve a cruel death.

Fire Of God

"Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench." (I Kings 18:38)

Comment

We get told that Satan involves himself with the eternal consuming fire, yet the Bible makes it abundantly clear that hell fire comes directly from God.

Note that fire does not consume stones, otherwise ovens and kilns could not work.

God Casts Stones

"And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword." (Joshua 10:11)

Comment

Another typical slaughter described in the Bible. Here we have God, personally throwing great stones on the people for the sole purpose of killing them.

God rejoices your death

"And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it." (Deuteronomy 28:63)

Comment

If the religious mind believes that God represents a loving God, then one must wonder about God, as described in the Bible, who would rejoice to destroy some of his creations.

Should we hold honor to an insane God? The Bible assures us that God possess an evil spirit with hate, and full of wrath, and here he rejoices in destruction! God appears completely devoid of any wit or humor; a mental state that psychologists have observed in many schizophrenics.

God 'The Jealous'

"For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters so a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods. Thou shalt make thee no molten gods." (Exodus 34:14-16)

Comment

Verse 14 (among other verses of the Bible) makes it abundantly clear that this God not only feels jealous but the Bible names him Jealous.

Why an all powerful God should feel jealous of his creations simply because they believed in other gods remains unclear. Could it mean that other gods exist as well as the Hebrew god or that the other gods do a better job?

It appears that many Christians fail to heed this explicit command in verse 16 to not make molten gods. Many Christians use plastic Jesus' or molten statuettes of Christ tortured and nailed to a Cross (Jesus, supposedly God in human form).

God's Fiery Serpents

"And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died." (Numbers 21:5-6)

Comment

The Israelites began to complain against God about their miserable condition in the wilderness. So what did their loving God do? Their Jealous god sent fiery serpents to cause even more misery and death!

Serpents, usually regarded as the Devil, appears to have come from the direct will of God here. Do God and Satan work together as a team? Let us hope not!

Actually, in ancient cultures the snake represented a symbol of the Goddess. Many times a priestess of a Goddess temple would use snakes in their rituals. Sometimes a snake bite could cause hallucinations, or by their beliefs-- 'prophetic visions.'

Much of the Old Testament describes the Israelites overtaking the goddess cultures and destroying their cities. They thoroughly eliminated the goddess religions and replaced them with their male god religion; they even turned the Scripture words of the goddess into masculine terms. Nowhere does the word 'goddess' appear in the Old Testament, yet many times, when you see the word 'gods,' it actually refers to goddesses.

Sending fear into the hearts of the Israelites concerning the goddess, gave power to their own male god. Thus, Numbers 21:8-9 describes Moses control of the goddess symbol by making a fiery serpent; anyone who gets bitten when he sees it, lives. The deaths due to the fiery serpents and then Moses' command from the Lord to save their lives when bitten, must have given their male god a powerful image.

God-- Man Of War

"The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name." (Exodus 15:3)

Comment

Note that many fundamentalists who consider every word of the Bible as fact must also concede that God, not only consists of a man, but also a man of war; a killer man of men.

With such a belief, how could a Christian people ever divorce war from their lives?

The Midrash Rabbah gives an explanation of The Man God: "His lower half was 'man', but his upper half was as God. [Only the lower half of his body, the seat of the sexual and secretory organs, belonged to the earthly within him, but his head and heart, given over entirely to holiness, were as divine.]"

God & Satan The Same?

"AND Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel." (I Chronicles 21:1)

"AND again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah." (II Samuel 24:1)

Comment

Here we have either a contradiction, a grave Biblical error, God and Satan working together, or the unmistakable interpretation that God and Satan "are" one and the same! Given that fundamentalists believe the Bible contains no errors or contradictions, then that leaves only the last two possibilities.

Note that the capitalized word "AND" appears at the beginning of each verse and the message appears at the beginning of each chapter.

Note also that the name Lucifer (another name for Satan) means light bearer, or morning star: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer to the ground..." (Isaiah 14:12)

The last page of the Bible reveals Jesus: "I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." (Rev. 22:16)

It should now become clear to the reader why some Satanist cults use the same Bible as the Christians.

I Came Not To Send Peace

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." (Matthew 10:34-37)

Comment

These words of Jesus confirm the unbelievable notion that Jesus did not come to establish peace, but rather to send the sword and to put man against his family. So much for family values.

I Come To Send Fire

"I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" (Luke 12:49)

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law." (Luke 12:51-53)

Comment

Jesus did not come to send peace, but rather fire and division among the family. So much for the idea of a pacifist Jesus and the modern concept of "family values."

Jesus Not Entirely Good

"And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments."(Matthew 19:16-17)

Comment

Most Christians believe that Jesus, not only lived as the Son of God but God in the flesh. Consider that Jesus here calls "none good but one, that is, God," pointing to an entity separate from himself (also see Matt. 5:48)

Also note that because of the belief that none other than God "is" good suggests that Jesus must not have behaved in an entirely good manner himself.

Some early Gnostic cults (judged as heretics by the orthodox church) believed Jesus as the Devil in the flesh and these verses suggests that He was the opposite of good-- Evil in the disguise of God.

Jesus Reveals Himself

"I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." (Revelation 22:16)

Comment

This verse presents the most shocking revelation in the entire Bible. On the very last page, it reveals Jesus as the "bright and morning star". In other words, Lucifer-- Satan!

In Isaiah 14:12, St. Jerome, translated the Hebrew "morning star" into the Latin term "Lucifer" (light bearer), a name commonly ascribed to Satan by Christians, and represents the fallen star, an ancient symbol for the fallen or evil one. The mourning star actually appears as the planet Venus, the brightest "star" in the sky (but the ancients did not know about planets). Venus always appears low on the horizon, thus it looked like a fallen star (fallen angel) to the believers.

Although the Isaiah verse describes the fallen king of Babylon, Christians have, for centuries, ascribed Satan as taking many forms. And what more powerful form could an evil being take than to pretend himself as the saviour of the world? This would certainly explain the hate filled verses attributed to Jesus and the blind followers who inherit ignorance. Thus, a conclusion, based on Christian beliefs of Satan, and the belief in the "inerrancy" of the Bible, one must conclude that Jesus has revealed himself as Satan!

What a Revelation!

Jesus' servants would fight

"If my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. " (John 18:36)

Comment

Jesus here gives Pilate an excuse for his predicament and, amazingly, makes the claim that his servants would fight for him if this world represented his kingdom. If Jesus' servants would fight for him, then what does that say about a peaceful world on earth or in heaven?

In effect, Jesus here complains about his deliverance to the Jews which would lead to his crucifixion, something that God supposedly ordained for the purpose of salvation of sinners (according to believers). So much for that theory.

Pray In The Closet

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." (Matthew 6:5-6)

Comment

The Religious Right wishes to put into law public prayer. How many Christians realize that the Biblical Jesus strongly opposed public prayer?

The wall of separation between Church and State, actually protects the religious liberties for all of us in the United States and here we have Biblical justification for keeping prayer private.

Promise To Return

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Matthew 16:28)

Comment

Most Christians do not realize that Jesus' promise of his second coming did not apply to our generation or to a future generation, but only to the generation of his time. Also, Jesus said in Rev. 3:11: "Behold I come quickly..."

Those poor people of early Christianity! They thought the texts got written for them, yet Jesus never fulfilled his promise.

Two thousand years have rolled by and yet many "true" believers still await his "quick" return. As any school child knows, anyone who does not keep promises does not deserve our trust, much less our admiration.

Furthermore, to believe in a second coming and the end of the world gives no reason to feel concerned about the long-term future of Earth. Why should we care about the environment, wars, or suffering if we believe that the world will come to an end soon and that everything will get taken care of in heaven?

Sacrifice or Suicide?

Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified. (Matthew 26:2)

Many Christians believe that Jesus came to redeem man to God by His death on the cross and to forgive man's sins. In some instances we have the death of Jesus, yet at other times you see the same Christians making the claim that Jesus "lives." Did he actually die or does he live? It cannot work both ways. Even if the death means a temporary death, it gives little value for an eternal sacrifice. But regardless of which way one believes, the morality of such an act deserves questioning.

If Jesus equals a god, then he could not have sacrificed his life, simply because an infinite god cannot die. If Jesus died as just a man, then he committed what we would today call suicide. If anyone believes his prediction in Matt 26:2, then Jesus must have known of his upcoming crucifixion. Jesus fulfilling his own prophecy says nothing about miraculous predictions for such self-fulfilling prophecies tend to carry themselves out. But if he lived as an all powerful being, he would have the power to avert his death. But he chose not to. Instead he consciously allowed his own death. Suicide. This act of self destruction, especially in light of a horrible disfigured and bleeding torso nailed to a cross hardly gives an exemplary act of the expression of life. On the contrary, such a scene equals that of horror movies designed to scare people out of their wits. Who knows how many children have experienced psychological problems after witnessing an image of a tortured man nailed to a cross at Sunday school. (By the way, any graven image of Christ violates the second commandment [Exodus 20:4-5]).

As to the sacrifice, just what did Jesus sacrifice? According to the Bible, he certainly did not sacrifice his life. Jesus went to Heaven, (the right hand side of God) supposedly a place of peace, calm and everlasting joy. But as a man on earth, Jesus received death threats, attempts at stoning, and condemnation by his enemies. Exiting the problems on earth for the joys of heaven hardly gives an example of noble sacrifice. On the contrary, it appears that Jesus escaped his problems, leaving his disciples on their own for a life in perfect heaven. Should we teach our children to emulate such a selfish act?

Did Jesus redeem man from his sacrifice? History shows that violence of man against man has increased since the alleged "sacrifice." Wars, terrorist acts, murders, and suicides have occurred because of faithful acts in the name of Jesus. It appears that the sacrifice resembles the curse of a demon rather than that of a savior. Furthermore, believing that his death forgives sins only provides reason for committing them in the first place. Why should anyone feel so disagreeable about committing sins when they feel that Jesus has already forgiven them? No wonder jails contain so many Christian zealots. Regardless of how "Caesar's" laws treat them, they think of themselves as specially forgiven.

The Wrathful God

"Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet. And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind. He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies." (Psalms 18:7-11)

Comment

Consider that these verses describe an angry (wroth) being, spouting smoke and fire, whose secret place consisted of darkness. This devilish entity sounds like a description of Satan, but believe it or not, actually comes from the Bible as describing God.

Wars Must Be

"And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows." (Mark 13:7-8)

Comment

Belief in these words can justify any war and atrocity against nations. Yet Jesus here tells us that we should not feel troubled by it as long as we have belief in Him.

“Chalk the Door” – 6 January – The Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord

Each year around the feast of the Epiphany many parishes throughout the world participate in an annual blessing of chalk. It is an ancient tradition that not only places God at the entrance of your home, it places your entire family under his protection.

The Epiphany blessing of chalk and homes is a centuries old tradition where priests would visit each home in their parish after the Feast of the Epiphany. Over time it became more difficult to accomplish such a feat, as parishes became larger and larger and priests were stretched thin. For this reason it became an accepted tradition that a member of the household is able to lead this blessing in place of the priest.

The blessing has biblical roots, deeply tied to the Passover in the book of Exodus.

The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt … “take some of the blood [of the lamb], and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel of the houses in which they eat them. They shall eat the flesh that night, roasted; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it … The blood shall be a sign for you, upon the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall fall upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” (cf. Exodus 12:1-13)

It is no coincidence that the Epiphany blessing is traditionally written on the lintel of the main doorway and even some of the prayers echo God’s words of protection that He gave to Moses. While the Epiphany blessing was not given in the same manner as it was to Moses, the Church provides it for our own spiritual benefit. The Church desires our salvation and so gives us beautiful sacramentals to assist us along the path to Eternal Life.

Traditionally a priest blesses chalk on the Feast of the Epiphany by saying the following prayer (from the Roman Ritual):

Bless, + O Lord God, this creature, chalk and let it be a help to mankind. Grant that those who will use it with faith in your most holy name and with it inscribe on the doors of their homes the names of your saints, Casper, Melchior, and Baltassar, may through their merits and intercession enjoy health in body and protection of soul, through Christ our Lord.

The chalk is then distributed after Mass. If your local parish does not administer such a blessing, inquire around and see if any neighbouring parishes do. Parishioners then take the chalk home and use it while invoking God’s blessing upon their home.

It is a beautiful blessing, one that brings many graces upon those who practice it in faith and is an added protection against any spiritual enemies that may be lurking around.

The Blessing: Once you acquire the blessed chalk, either a priest or another member of the household can bless the home in the following manner (adapted from the Roman Ritual):

Upon entering the house [or at the front door]:

Priest/Head of Household: Peace be to this house. All: And to all who dwell herein. Priest: From the east came the Magi to Bethlehem to adore the Lord and opening their treasures, they offered precious gifts – gold for the great King, incense for the true God and myrrh in symbol of His burial.

During the Magnificat, the room is sprinkled with holy water and incensed.

My soul glorifies the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God, my Saviour He looks on His servant in her lowliness Henceforth all ages will call me blessed: The Almighty works marvels for me, holy is his Name! Bless, O Lord God almighty, this home, that in it there may be health, purity, the strength of victory, humility, goodness and mercy, the fulfilment of Thy law, the thanksgiving to God the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. And may this blessing remain upon this home and upon all who dwell herein. Through Christ our Lord. All: Amen

After the prayers of the blessing are recited, walk through the house and bless each room by sprinkling with Epiphany/holy water and incensing it.

Take the blessed chalk and first write the initials of the three Wise Men, connected with Crosses, over the inside of your front door (on the lintel, if possible). Then write the year, breaking up the numbers and the year so that they fall on both sides of the initials. It should look like this, for example

20 C+M+B 19

The equation is written to be the first two digits of the year, followed by the initials C, M, and B, followed by the last two digits of the year. Each portion is split by plus signs. For this year, the equation would be written as “20 + C + M + B + 19.”

The chalking holds two meanings. The C, M and B, refer to the traditional names of the Magi: Caspar, Melchior and Balthasar. The letters also stand for the Latin phrase “Christus mansionem benedicat” which means “May Christ bless the house.” The plus signs represent the cross and the 20 and 19 simply refer to the year.

There is no character death in this story, but it’s still dark.

Summary: Withdrawal from mortal substances could be lethal if not done carefully and in the view of trained medical professionals. Tying Sam to a metal table and locking him in the panic room? Not a good idea.

“You are nothing.” “You as good as killed me.” “Everything would have been better if you had never been born.”

Sam screamed, thrashing against the leather binding him to the metal bed. Sleep did not come easily and when there was sleep, it was nightmares full of blood and fire.

Mary and Jess taunted him, blaming him for killing them as though it was he who had snuffed the life from their bodies. Even as he watched them burned, screaming and trying so hard to save them, they condemned him.

And Sam cried, screaming and wailing, afraid and aching as his body both rejected the demon blood and demanded that he give it more and he was almost begging for the sweet relief of death because coupled with the reminder of the absolute disappointment and disgust in Dean’s gaze, death would have been better than having to deal with this Hell.

Sam ached everywhere. His wrists and ankles hurt from tugging on the leather binding, his face hurt from screaming and crying, and his stomach rolled, revolting from detox and demanding more and he didn’t even know what would be worse.

So Sam cried, and at some point he begged for anything from the God he had spent most of his life believing in because it was comforting, even if Dean only mocked him for that faith. And then they’d met the dick angels and Sam didn’t know what he wanted anymore.

He didn’t care about Hell and he didn’t care about Heaven, but he cared about forgiveness from the deity he’d spent his entire childhood begging for Dean to return home safely. And even if He wasn’t real, Dean had never died on a hunt so he wanted to believe that maybe Someone had been looking out for them. But then Dean had sold his soul for Sam’s life and Sam screamed at the injustice of everything. He shouldn’t have had to live without Dean, he wasn’t supposed to have tried to live without Dean. It wasn’t ever supposed to be a possibility!

But it was. But it had been, and Sam cried, his emotions causing the demon blood to throw his bed around the room and he didn’t even care. The walls rattled around him, and all Sam wanted to was let go.

“Our Father, who art in Heaven,” he whispered brokenly, delirious, and not even sure what he was doing except that the repetition of the words brought a small measure of peace to his delirious and fever wracked body. “Hallowed be Thy name. They Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.”

What was the real goal? Anna had implied that human emotions were better than anything angels were allowed to feel. But human’s capacity to love was free will . There was no destiny there, not humans doing whatever the Hell they wanted to do.

“Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who trespass against us.” He should not have fallen for the web Ruby had designed for him so beautifully. He should have seen it as the temptation that it was. He couldn’t believe that he was destined to be nothing more than the King of Hell that Azazel had designed him to be, but he just had no idea what God had intended his purpose to be. “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

He had fallen so far into temptation, how was he even supposed to start making amends for it all? But that didn’t necessarily mean he couldn’t change the way he lived his life, did it? The AA and the NA existed for a reason, right? He did not like what the demon blood did to him, even as much as he had only wanted to save so many lives. The road to Hell was paved with good intentions, after all.

“For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory, forever and ever.”

What did that even mean? Sam’s exhausted and fevered mind wondered. The angels either wanted to stop the apocalypse, or they wanted to bring it about, divine retribution and the final battle between Michael and Lucifer and all that jazz, Revelations , he wasn’t entirely sure what. They were pushing for Lilith to die, yes, but no one had ever outright said what the final seal even was. And these angels didn’t even like humanity, the mud monkeys.

Sam coughed, and coughed. He coughed so hard that he was retching and he didn’t like the copper taste in the back of his throat that made him gag more as a reminder of how nasty the demon blood was that had got him into this mess in the first place.

Even though he was hoarse and dizzy, he rambled into another prayer because it was the only thing he could think of that might make him feel a little less slimy with all the sins he had committed. “Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and the Holy Spirit, both now and always, and unto the ages and ages.”

Was he supposed to be praying? Castiel had said if they prayed to him, he could hear it, and he always came when Dean prayed, even though he was always so irreverent

No one had ever come when Sam prayed. Castiel didn’t even come when Sam prayed for him to come when he was in the same room as Dean, even if Dean just repeated the prayer a minute later when he didn’t come for Sam.

Maybe he was so tainted the angels couldn’t hear him. That would be better than if they were outright ignoring him, and maybe safter too. What would they even do to him if they came now? He was at his weakest, all of his strength sapped by the withdrawal, and he was tied, prone, to a stupid metal table. It wasn’t a bed, it was just a table. It would be so easy to smite him with a single thought, but at least it would be an instantaneous death, so much faster than wasting away to the withdrawal.

Sam didn’t really want to stop, and at least by praying he could feel like he was talking to someone else rather than just rambling on to himself. Reciting some of the common prayers as a child had felt a lot like meditating. “My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart.” There was no way that his actions hadn’t been sinful, and going through withdrawal was going to just be the first step in trying to recover from that and move on with his life. If he survived.

“In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things.” He loved his God, and maybe he had been less faithful after leaving Stanford, but that didn’t mean that he was living the life he wanted to live. “I firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.” Ruby was a demon. He should have killed her the second she said she was in a dying host. Instead he had followed her so far into sin there was probably no way he could ever make up for it, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to try. He hated feeling like this.

“Our Saviour Jesus Christ, suffered and died for us. In His name, my God, have mercy. Amen” Sam stumbled through the last bit of the prayer. He was so tired and exhausted, and as he retched again, he could feel his strength failing.

Sam coughed. His ribs hurt, and he closed his eyes because he didn’t want to look at the blood he was sure to be coughing up. He coughed harder, and, Oh, God , his lungs hurt.

Finally, finally the coughing subsided. But he realized he couldn’t breathe. Not through his nose, not through his mouth. His lungs were on fire and he couldn’t breathe.

He blinked, wondering if this was it. It took a healthy person three minutes to asphyxiate, but he wasn’t healthy, hadn’t been in a long time.

There was a flash of white light, bright enough to blind Sam, and he couldn’t help but wonder if this was what dying would feel like. But even though he couldn’t remember what happened after he’d died, he did recall the moment Jake had stabbed him in the back, and there had been no light.

Closing his eyes did not help to block it out, and he curled in on himself as much as he was able, despite being tied to the table. He was afraid, but he didn’t know why . There was no reason to fear death. The only thing he had to be afraid of was living another day with the mindless need for more. He was done with the demon blood, even if the demon blood wasn’t done with him.

As the voice said, “It’s okay, Samuel. You are loved, and everything will be alright,” there was a moment of clarity. This was Raphael, Archangel of Healing, and maybe, maybe , maybe there was a God who cared.

Topic- DIVINE CHASTISEMENT

Scripture Text – Hebrews 12:5 - "Despise not thou the chastening of the Lord nor faint when thou are rebuked of him"

It is of first importance that we learn to draw a sharp distinction between Divine punishment and Divine chastisement - important for maintaining the honor and glory of God, and for the peace of mind of the Christian. The distinction is very simple, yet is it often lost sight of.

God's people can never by any possibility be punished for their sins, for God has already punished them at the Cross. The Lord Jesus, our Blessed Substitute, suffered the full penalty of all our guilt, hence it is written "The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin."

Neither the justice nor the love of God will permit Him to again exact payment of what Christ discharged to the full. The difference between punishment and chastisement lies not in the nature of the sufferings of the afflicted: it is most important to bear this in mind.

There is a threefold distinction between the two.

1. The character in which God acts - In the former God acts as Judge, in the latter as Father. Sentence of punishment is the act of a judge, a penal sentence passed on those charged with guilt. Punishment can never fall upon the child of God in this judicial sense because his guilt was all transferred to Christ: "Who his own self bear our sins in his own body on the tree."

But while the believer's sins cannot be punished, while the Christian cannot be condemned (Rom. 8:3), yet he may be chastised. The Christian occupies an entirely different position from the non-Christian: he is a member of the Family of God.

The relationship which now exists between him and God is that of parent and child; and as a son he must be disciplined for wrongdoing. Folly is bound up in the hearts of all God's children, and the rod is necessary to rebuke, to subdue, and to humble.

2. The objects of the former are His enemies - The second distinction between Divine punishment and Divine chastisement lies in the recipients of each. The subjects of the latter are His children. As the Judge of all the earth, God will yet take vengeance on all His foes. As the Father of His family, God maintains discipline over all His children. The one is judicial, the other parental.

3. The design of each- A third distinction is seen in the design of each: the one is retributive, the other remedial. The one flows from His anger, the other from His love. Divine punishment is never sent for the good of sinners, but for the honoring of God's law and the vindicating of His government.

But Divine chastisement is sent for the well-being of His children: "We have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness" (Heb. 12:9-10).

The above distinction should at once rebuke the thoughts which are so generally entertained among Christians. When the believer is smarting under the rod let him not say, God is now punishing me for my sins. That can never be. That is most dishonoring to the blood of Christ. God is correcting thee in love, not smiting in wrath.

Nor should the Christian regard the chastening of the Lord as a sort of necessary evil to which he must bow as submissively as possible. No, it proceeds from God's goodness and faithfulness, and is one of the greatest blessings for which we have to thank Him.

Chastisement evidences our Divine son-ship: the father of a family does not concern himself with those on the outside: but those within he guides and disciplines to make them conform to his will. Chastisement is designed for our good, to promote our highest interests. Look beyond the rod to the All-wise hand that wields it!

The Hebrew Christians to whom this Epistle was first addressed were passing through a great fight of afflictions, and miserably were they conducting themselves. They were the little remnant out of the Jewish nation who had believed on their Messiah during the days of His public ministry, plus those Jews who had been converted under the preaching of the apostles.

It is highly probable that they had expected the Messianic Kingdom would at once be set up on earth and that they would be allotted the chief places of honor in it. But the Millennium had not begun, and their own lot became increasingly bitter. They were not only hated by the Gentiles, but ostracized by their unbelieving brethren, and it became a hard matter for them to make even a bare living. Providence held a frowning face. Many who had made a profession of Christianity had gone back to Judaism and were prospering temporally.

As the afflictions of the believing Jews increased, they too were sorely tempted to turn their back upon the new Faith. Had they been wrong in embracing Christianity? Was high Heaven displeased because they had identified themselves with Jesus of Nazareth? Did not their suffering go to show that God no longer regarded them with favor?

Now it is most instructive and blessed to see how the Apostle met the unbelieving reasoning of their hearts. He appealed to their own Scriptures! He reminded them of an exhortation found in Proverbs 3:11-12, and applied it to their case.

Notice, first, the words we place in italics: "Ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you." This shows that the exhortations of the Old Testament were not restricted to those who lived under the old covenant: they apply with equal force and directness to those of us living under the new covenant.

Let us not forget that "all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable" (2 Tim. 3:16) The Old Testament equally as much as the New Testament was written for our learning and admonition.

Second, mark the tense of the verb in our opening text: "Ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh." The Apostle quoted a sentence of the Word written one thousand years previously, yet he does not say "which hath spoken," but "which speaketh."

The same principle is illustrated in that sevenfold "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith (not "said") unto the churches" of Rev. 2 and 3. The Holy Scriptures are a living Word in which God is speaking today!

Consider now the words "Ye have forgotten." It was not that these Hebrew Christians were unacquainted with Prov. 3:11 and 12, but they had let them slip. They had forgotten the Fatherhood of God and their relation of Him as His dear children. In consequence they misinterpreted both the manner and design of God's present dealings with them.

They viewed His dispensation not in the light of His Love, but regarded them as signs of His displeasure or as proofs of His forgetfulness. Consequently, instead of cheerful submission, there was despondency and despair.

Here is a most important lesson for us: we must interpret the mysterious providences of God not by reason or observation, but by the Word. How often we "forget" the exhortation which speaketh unto us as unto children- "My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him."

Unhappily there is no word in the English language which is capable of doing justice to the Greek term here. "Paideia" which is rendered "chastening" is only another form of "paidion" which signifies "young children," being the tender word that was employed by the Savior in John 21:5 and Hebrews 2:13.

One can see at a glance the direct connection which exists between the words "disciple" and "discipline": equally close in the Greek is the relation between "children" and "chastening." Son-training would be better. It has reference to God's education, nurture and discipline of His children. It is the Father's wise and loving correction which is in view.

It is true that much chastisement is the rod in the hand of the Father correcting His erring child. But it is a serious mistake to confine our thoughts to this one aspect of the subject. Chastisement is by no means always the scourging of His refractive sons. Some of the saintliest of God's people, some of the most obedient of His children, have been and are the greatest sufferers.

Oftentimes God's chastenings instead of being retributive are corrective. They are sent to empty us of self-sufficiency and self-righteousness: they are given to discover to us hidden transgressions, and to teach us the plague of our own hearts.

Or again, chastisements are sent to strengthen our faith, to raise us to higher levels of experience, to bring us into a condition of usefulness. Still again, Divine chastisement is sent as a preventative, to keep under pride, to save us from being unduly elated over success in God's service. Let us consider, briefly, four entirely different examples.

DAVID: In his case the rod was laid upon him for grievous sins, for open wickedness. His fall was occasioned by self-confidence and self-righteousness. If the reader will diligently compare the two Songs of David recorded in 2 Samuel 22 and 23, the one written near the beginning of his life, the other near the end, he will be struck by the great difference of spirit manifested by the writer in each.

Read 2 Samuel 22:22-25 and you will not be surprised that God suffered him to have such a fall. Then turn to chapter 23, and mark the blessed change. At the beginning of v. 5 there is a heart-broken confession of failure. In vv. 10-12 there is a God-glorifying confession, attributing victory unto the Lord. The severe scourging of David was not in vain.

JOB: Probably he tasted of every kind of suffering which falls to man's lot: family bereavements, loss of property, grievous bodily afflictions came fast, one on top of another. But God's end in it all was that Job should benefit therefrom and be a greater partaker of His holiness.

There was not a little of self-satisfaction and self-righteousness in Job at the beginning. But at the end, when He was brought face to face with the thrice Holy One, he "abhorred himself" (42:6). In David's case the chastisement was retributive, in Job's corrective.

ABRAHAM: In him we see an illustration of an entirely different aspect of chastening. Most of the trials to which he was subjected were neither because of open sins nor for the correction of inward faults. Rather were they sent for the development of spiritual graces.

Abraham was sorely tried in various ways, but it was in order that faith might be strengthened and that patience might have its perfect work in him. Abraham was weaned from the things of this world, that he might enjoy closer fellowship with Jehovah and become the "friend" of God.

PAUL: "And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure (2 Cor. 12:7). This "thorn" was sent not because of failure and sin, but as a preventative against pride.

Note the "lest" both at the beginning and end of the verse. The result of this "thorn" was that the beloved apostle was made more conscious of his weakness. Thus, chastisement has for one of its main objects the breaking down of self-sufficiency, the bringing us to the end of our selves.

Now in view of these widely different aspects chastenings which are retributive, corrective, educative, and preventative, how incompetent are we to diagnose, and how great is the folly of pronouncing a judgment concerning others! Let us not conclude when we see a fellow-Christian under the rod of God that he is necessarily being taken to task for his sins.

" The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore "

( Psalm 121:5-8 KJV )

( Hebrew: שׁמר. Pronounced: shaw-mar'.meaning to keep, guard, observe, give heed, have charge of, guard, keep watch and ward, protect, save life, to watch for, wait for, observe, retain, treasure up in memory).

The Apostle prophesied in 2 Timothy 3 that in the last days, we will live in perilous or dangerous times. And this is confirmed through out the scriptures. There are wars and rumours of wars, strange sicknesses and plaques, accidents and natural disasters, terrorism and immorality just to mention a few.

But in the face of all these perils, we are not afraid because he has not given us the spirit of fear. The Lord is our keeper and His word promised to preserve us from all evil and He will keep His Word again and again. Indeed we are preserved for all eternity and when time fades into eternity, we will look back and testify to the hosts of heaven that " the Lord has preserved us indeed. Kept by the Lord Amen.

SCRIPTURAL DECLARATION

Psalm 121:5-8

The LORD is our keeper: the LORD is our shade upon our right hand. The sun shall not smite us by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve us from all evil: he shall preserve our souls. CONFESSION

The Lord keeps and preserves me in these perilous times. I walk with confidence as I seek to serve and please Him daily without fear of the perils of the day we are living in. He has not given me the spirit of fear. I have the Spirit of love, power and a sound mind because my mind has been renewed and I now have the mind of Christ. I am safe from all alarm in His everlasting arms. I live secure in the secret place under the citadel of His mighty wings and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ the Lamb of God. When you got there, you got everything set up, placing the candles where they needed to be and the Spongebob placemat, face down, in the middle of it. You were in front of Gregory’s grave and Sam held the journal in his hand, flipping to the right page.

You stood behind him, making sure no one was coming but once Sam started to speak, you weren’t focused on lookout duties anymore. You wanted to see what would happen.

“Amate spiritus obscure te quaerimus, te oramus nobiscum colloquere aput nos circita.” Sam spoke in Latin. You could make out some of the words but your Latin wasn’t that good right now. Sam got out some herbs he had and sprinkled it on the black candle. It flared once, brightly but nothing else happened.

“What are you doing? What is this?” Your head snapped to the entrance and saw Father Reynolds entering the place. You and Sam both stood to face him and you looked at Sam for help.

“Uh, Father, please. I can explain. Um, actually, maybe I can't. This is a séance.” Sam said, wincing because it sounded so bad.

“A séance? Young man, you are in the House of God.” The priest narrowed his eyes.

“It's based on early Christian rites, if that helps any.” Sam said, trying to make it better.

“Enough. You're coming with me,” Father Reynolds said, grabbing Sam’s arm. “You as well, young lady.”

“Father, please, just wait a second, if you will.” You tried pleaded but nothing was working. As Father Reynolds pulled you to the exist, there was a bright, white light that shone from behind you three. You all turned around and actually saw what those people and Sam were talking about.

But you didn’t see an Angel like you saw before, no, you saw a person there.

“Oh my god! Is that... is that an angel?” Father Reynolds said in awe.

“No, it's not. It's just Father Gregory.” Sam said in disappointment. You looked at Sam with a sigh and placed your hand over his to let him know he wasn’t alone. The bright light dimmed to reveal a young and handsome priest.

“Thomas?!” Fr. Reynolds said in shock.

“I've come in answer to your prayers,” Fr. Gregory said with a calm smile. He looked over at Sam and frowned. “Sam. I thought I sent you on your path. You should hurry.”

“Father Gregory, I don’t know if you know this but you’re not an Angel.” You said quickly, looking at the spirit.

“Of course I am.”

“No, you're a man, who’s a spirit and you need to rest.” Sam said with a sigh.

“I was a man, but now I'm an angel. I was on the steps of the church and I felt that bullet pierce right through me. But there was no pain and suddenly I could see everything. Father Reynolds, I saw you, praying and crying here. I came to help you.” Gregory said with another calm smile, not fazed by what Sam said.

“Help me, how?”

“Father Reynolds, those murders were because of him.” You said quietly to the breathing priest. Reynolds looked at you in pain and then back at the spirit.

“Those murders… that was because of you?”

“I received the Word of God. He spoke to me and told me to smite the wicked. I'm carrying out his will.”

“You're driving innocent people to kill.” Fr. Reynolds said sadly.

“Those innocent people are being offered redemption. Some people need redemption. Don't they, Sam?” The spirit said, looking at Sam accusingly. You looked at Sam to see it hurt him.

“Hey, don’t talk to Sam like that, you piece of shit. You’re a fucking spirit and you need to be put at rest. Luckily for you, I’m going to do just that.” You said with a glare, talking to the spirit. Sam, appreciating that you stood up for him, put a hand on your shoulder to calm you.

“How dare you talk to an Angel like that, young lady?” The spirit said with a glare. You rolled your eyes and looked at Sam for help.

“How can you call this redemption?” Fr. Reynolds asked the spirit.

“You can't understand it now. But the rules of man and the rules of God are two very different things.”

“Those people you had kill, they’re locked up because of you. You don’t feel anything for that?” You asked with a glare.

“No, they're happy. They've found peace and beaten their demons. I've given them the keys to Heaven.”

“No. No, this is vengeance and it's wrong. Thomas, this goes against everything you believed. You're lost, misguided.” Fr. Reynolds said.

“Father. No, I'm not misguided.” Thomas tried to argue.

“You are not an angel, Thomas. Men cannot be angels.” Fr. Reynolds said, trying to open the spirits eyes a little.

“But I don't understand. You prayed for me to come.”

“I prayed for God's help, not this. What you're doing is not God's will. ‘Thou shalt not kill’. That's the word of God.”

“You want proof? Come with me,” You said, getting out of Sam’s grip and walking past the spirit. He looked at you confused but you didn’t wait. “Look at this.” The spirit cautiously looked at you before walking to you.

“No…” The spirit muttered, staring at his own headstone.

“Let us help you.” Sam said. The spirit looked up at you before turning around to Sam and Fr. Reynolds.

“No.”

“It's time to rest, Thomas, to be at peace. Please, let me give you Last Rites.” Fr. Reynolds said, stepping closer. You looked at the spirit and he nodded, sighing. Fr. Reynolds lifted his hands in prayer.

“Oh, Holy Hosts above, I call upon thee as a servant of Christ to sanctify our actions this day, in fulfillment of the will of God.” Reynolds started to pray. You walked over to Sam and watched. Gregory flickered, as if it was working.

“Father Reynolds?” Thomas asked, not knowing what was going on.

“Rest,” Fr. Reynolds said. Thomas kneeled before the priest and he held a hand over the flickering spirit. “I call upon the Archangel Raphael, Master of the Air, to make open the way. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit now descend, that this being might be awakened to the world beyond.”

Fr. Gregory glows brightly but when it died down, he was gone. You sighed, knowing it was over.

“What about Dean?” You said, looking at Sam.

You and the brothers met up at the motel room when you were all done and instead of talking about it, the brothers went straight to bed. You sighed and didn’t know what to do about this. You thought it was time to come clean but that could wait for the morning.

In the morning, you woke up to Dean being gone and Sam packing.

“Hey, Y/N, what did you mean by when you said you saw an Angel before?” Sam asked, not looking at you.

“I think Dean needs to hear this so I’ll explain when he came back.” You got dressed quickly and got to work packing yours and Dean’s things. Dean entered the room just in time and looked at you and Sam.

“So, how was your night?”

“You were right. It wasn't an angel. It was Gregory.” Sam said sadly. Dean sat on one bed and Sam sat on the other with a sigh. You walked and sat next to Dean.

“I don't know, Dean, I just, I wanted to believe so badly, ah... It's so damn hard to do this, what we do. You're all alone, you know? There's so much evil out there in the world that I feel like I could drown in it. When I think about my destiny, when I think about how I could end up...” Sam couldn’t finish.

“Yeah, well, don't worry about that. Alright? I'm watching out for you.” Dean said quietly.

“I’m watching out for you too. You know we wouldn’t let anything happen to you.”

“Yeah, I know you are. But you're just two people. I needed to think that there was something else, watching too, you know? Some higher power. Some greater good. And that maybe I could be saved.” Sam said, looking down. You thought this was the time.

“No, you know what, Sam?” You started, getting on your feet. “You want to believe there is some higher power, then damn it, you believe it. This job sucks, our lives suck and if praying and hoping that you might be saved one day, then I encourage you to do it.”

“But, Y/N, Angels don’t exist.” Dean said.

“Dean, that’s where you’re wrong. They do exist because I saw one.” You said, admitting it.

“What?” He asked, bewildered.

“Yeah, I saw one with my own eyes. Okay, well, remember that one case, you, Sam, John and I went on and the spirit grabbed me and threw me off the two-story landing and I wasn’t waking up?” You asked, sighing.

“Yeah, you scared the shit out of me.”

“Well, I was seeing my body, watching John try to get me to wake up. Now, I don’t know who it was because I just can’t remember but I saw something. I wasn’t afraid and I felt calm, not scared. Even thinking about it now, I don’t remember if it was even a person. Anyway, this thing told me that I was meant for something big and that it would look over me for as long as I live.”

“How come you never told us this?” Dean asked.

“Because I was scared shitless. I was so afraid of something happening so I never did. But Sam, I believe that you believe something is out there. We may have never seen Angels with our own eyes but we’re still in our twenties, we haven’t seen all that is out there.” You said, sitting next to Dean.

“If you want to pray, then pray because there is nothing wrong with a little faith.” You said, staring into Sam’s eyes that held the same hope they had when you said you would save him.

The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20 I Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them:

It is apparent the Nazarene is claiming he is "God." So where does that leave Jehova?:

Matthew 4 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. [Here he is obviously referring to himself]

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Matthew 28 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Titus 2 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Now "Jesus" is God?

Philippians 2 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth...

II Thou Shalt Not Take the Name of the LORD Thy God in Vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

So what is this entity's name? Jehova? Yaweh? Both JHVH and YHVH mean I am that I am. Which one? Shibboleh? This makes about as much sense as he does.

III Remember the Sabbath Day, To Keep it Holy.

Luke 6: 1-5 1 And it came to pass on the second Sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. 2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbath days? 3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him; 4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? 5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

IV Honour Thy Father and Thy Mother:

Matthew 10: 37 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Luke 9: 59-62 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Matthew 10: 34-36 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father and the daughter against her mother and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

V Thou Shalt Not Kill.

Jehova commits murder:

Exodus 23:27 I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. Jehova orders the murder of thousands:

Exodus 32:27-28 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. 28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

Jehova orders his people to commit more murder:

Leviticus 26:7-8 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword. It is more than obvious, the "lord" thinks nothing of murder or ordering others to commit murder:

Numbers 1:51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death. Murder is so important to jehova, he has to repeat himself:

Numbers 3:10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

More murder, along with direct orders to partake in acts of cannibalism:

Numbers 21:3 And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah. Numbers 23-24: Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Jehova orders more mass murder:

Numbers 25:16 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 25:17 Vex the Midianites, and smite them: Numbers 31:7 And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. 31:8 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword. 31:9 And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. 31:10 And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire. 31:11 And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

Jehova commits more mass murder:

Deuteronomy 2:20 [That also was accounted a land of giants: giants dwelt therein in old time; and the Ammonites call them Zamzummims; 2:21 A people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims; but the LORD destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead: 2:22 As he did to the children of Esau, which dwelt in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day: 2:23 And the Avims which dwelt in Hazerim, even unto Azzah, the Caphtorims, which came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.] 2:30 But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him: for the LORD thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as appeareth this day. 2:31 And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. 2:32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz. 2:33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people. 2:34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men, and the women, and the little ones, of every city, we left none to remain: 2:35 Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took. 2:36 From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us: 2:37 Only unto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor unto any place of the river Jabbok, nor unto the cities in the mountains, nor unto whatsoever the LORD our God forbad us.

Numbers 31 17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. 18 But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. The mass murders committed by and directed by Jehova fills much of the Old Testament. The above scriptures are only a small sample. Including all of them here would take pages and pages.

Jehova steals land from the Canaanites:

VIII Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness Against Thy Neighbour.

There are hundreds of verses that prove Jehova is a prolific liar. Some of Jehova's Lies:

Genesis 2 16 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Adam lived another 930 years: Genesis 5 5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

IX, X Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbour's House, Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbour's Wife, nor His Manservant, nor His Maidservant, nor His Ox, nor His Ass, nor Any Thing that is Thy Neighbour's.

The numerous verses, many are listed above, show how Jehova has no respect for human beings or their property. He coveted the land of the Canaanites, demanded relentlessly, the blood sacrifices of human beings and animals and continuously looted from others.
