OBSERVATION:

Not because I "envied the arrogant" (verse 3)...

...but because "pride became [my] necklace" (verse 6)...

...and "the imaginations of [my] heart [ran] wild" (verse 7)...

...and I let my wickedness say, "How can God know?" (verse 11)...

..."I was stupid and didn’t understand;

"I was an unthinking animal toward Him". (verse 22)

APPLICATION:

Stop and seek to know Him, since knowledge of the Holy One is understanding...

Think before doing - or saying - or following - my wild running imaginations...

Know He knows... 

PRAYER: (Including verses 23-26, 28)

Loving Father God - so many times my feet have slipped and I have strayed from Your will... Yet I am always with You;  You hold my right hand.  You guide me with your counsel,  and afterward You will take me up in glory - because of Your Son Jesus and my faith in Him...
