Do you have any tips for drawing swk and mac’s hairstyles? I’ve tried on multiple occasions but their floof just ain’t floofing right...

Also bonus question heheh- how would Nà react to seeing either of the monkey boys with messy hair? xD

I hope this helps just a lil bit, but the best I could describe it is by blocking out the basic shape of the hair and then going in after with the finer hair details :]

Basically triangles on top of the triangles. Laying down the basic shapes help visualize how you want the hair to lay 👍🏼

For Mac, since I like to draw his hair more ‘wavy’, so making the tufts go in different directions helps too!

And for that extra bit hehe

This actually also is a good example of how the tufts can make it look even fluffier hehe

Since Wukong likes to keep his hair relatively neat and upright, it’s a rare sight for Nà to see it all messy.

Mac’s hair is already pretty messy but after a good nap the floof level rises - Nà finds it pretty cute.

(At night I put on soft music and imagine my favorite ships cuddling in bed to help me fall asleep.)

Jounouchi doesn’t remember the context anymore—it was one of those really meaningless, dull moments, you know—but he does remember asking Kaiba, one time, all snark and annoyance, “Do you ever sleep?”

And Kaiba, just as snarky and just as annoyed, had answered, “No.”

Again, just one of those meaningless, dull moments. But it comes back every now and again, sprinkled in fondness because when it does, Jounouchi’s looking down at a peacefully sleeping Kaiba, all tucked up against his chest.

It’s really damn cute. He looks like a kid almost, hands curled tight to his body, lips parting in soft snores, cheek smushed against his pillow. He wrinkles his nose when Jounouchi caresses his cheek and whines when the sun leaking through the window hits his eyes. Jounouchi chuckles; he never would have guessed that Kaiba Seto isn’t a morning person.

Kaiba swats at him for laughing, then pulls the comforter over his head. “Five minutes,” he mumbles, definitely pouting a bit. Jounouchi pulls back the covers to get a peek, and is rewarded with a bleary-eyed blue glare.

“I will kick you out of this bed,” Kaiba warns.

“Good morning to you, too, sunshine,” Jounouchi replies, planting a kiss on Kaiba’s forehead. He endures the weak kick to his shin and tugs Kaiba close again, letting him nestle into place again.

“Five minutes,” he agrees. One arm winds around Kaiba’s back, the other finding messy brown locks to run his fingers through them.

Within seconds, Kaiba is falling asleep again, soft breaths puffing against Jounouchi’s chest. Fingers curling into his sleep shirt. Peaceful as a damn angel.

It doesn’t take Jounouchi much longer to fall asleep after him.
