Disclaimer! This story is based on the characters of the Dream SMP and not the real life content creators. Anything that occurs in this story is purely fiction and should be treated as such. Thank you.
Phil smiled fondly from his place in the bedroom doorway, as he watched his eldest give Tommy the small cow plushie.
How could one little boy be so endearing?
He thought back to that afternoon when he’d first found the young boy. It had been a simple day at the office. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual paperwork and filing he couldn’t do at home. It should’ve been a simple walk home too, but when the sound of heavy breathing had caught his ear, he hadn’t expected to turn and see a kid with messy blonde hair running straight towards a street light. “Hey kid, slow down!” He had tried to warn, but the kid seemed too lost in thought and charged forward anyways. “Hey wait, stop!! You’re going to hit the-“
He didn’t even get to finish the sentence before a loud thunk echoed into the air, as the kid crashed into the pole, causing them to backpedal from the impact, and down to the ground. He rushed forward crouching down to be eye level with the kid and quickly began to look them over.
“Are you alright mate?”
The kid's head snapped up, blue eyes meeting his own, widening at the acknowledgment of his presence.
 “Ah, mate? You with me?”
As if a switch was flicked, the kid frantically scrambled back with a loud scream, a look of pure terror painted across their face.
Phil’s heart ached at the sight.
 “Hey, hey it’s alright. I’m not going to hurt you.” He said, hands up placatingly so the kid could see he meant no harm.
The kid curled in on themselves as their breathing began to grow irregular and shallow.
“Shhhh shhh it’s okay! I need you to take deep, slow breaths for me. Can you do that?” Phil asked, coming closer.
 The kid took a few sharp breaths in, presumably trying to do as he had asked.
“In for 3, out for 3.” he instructed, as he began to rub the kids back up and down to help time their breathing.
The kid flinched at the initial contact, but didn’t shy away.
“There you go. You’re doing so well mate.”
 Slowly, the kids' breathing began to even out and as they focused on regulating their breathing.
“My name’s Philza, but you can call me Phil. What’s your name?”
 The kid tensed slightly at the question, but immediately melted back into Phil’s touch as he continued to rub their back. How adorable.
“T-Tommy.” The kid –Tommy said shakily.
It took a few minutes to fully calm Tommy down, but eventually he settled enough to find out why he had been so focused on running. That had been a mission in itself to get them to open up about it, but he had managed to find out that Tommy was lost and was concerned about losing something important.
 What that thing was, Tommy wouldn’t say and had started to hyperventilate at the mention. He had quickly reassured him that he was okay and that he just wanted to help, inviting him to come back to his place where he could better do so.
 It was slightly worrying how quickly the kid had agreed to coming home with him though...
 Tommy even almost seemed eager to go when Phil mentioned that he lived only a street over from where they were. From terrified to willingly to follow a stranger was uh, interesting to say the least.
 And the way they acted coming home; staring at objects with so much wonder and intrigue while adorable was concerning.
 Who knew where this kid had come from to act like that?
 He would have to worry about contacting Tommy’s guardians if he had any later. Kid had been through enough and needed the rest. He smiled as Wilbur closed the door quietly to the Guest room, noticing the fondness in his gaze as he turned and made his way back to his own room. In the morning, he’d introduce Technoblade to Tommy and hopefully get him to open up some more. Then they’d be able to get a better run down on the kid and what the best course of action would be.
At least that’s what he thought they’d do…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 Tommy felt different when he woke up.
 The last thing he remembered was falling asleep on something really soft, holding something really fluffy.
 Huh, Strange.
 He doesn’t remember his bed being this nice.
 Slowly, he peaked an eye open to find himself in what appeared to be a plush cave.
 Well this was the weirdest dream he’d ever had.
 Figuring it was a dream (because what else would this be), Tommy began to search for an exit. Might as well explore whatever dreamworld he was in while it lasted.
 It took a bit, but eventually he spotted a sliver of light creeping in from a crevice above and made his way across the weird, uneven surface. It was far too soft to try and walk across properly, as his feets just kept sinking down with his weight. Not to say he didn’t like it, it was just strange to be on so much uneven ground.
 Geez dreams are weird.
When Tommy reached the crevice, he began to climb up finding the side wall was actually some kind of nice fabric. Pity he couldn’t have fabric like this in reality. A bed made from this would be heaven!
 But upon breaching the surface, it was only then that he realised where he was.
 He glanced around at the ‘not cave’, realisation hitting him with the sight of the light green bedding from the guest room bed. But what really grabbed his attention was the cow plushie resting in the middle of the messed up pile of sheets. All the memories of the day prior came rushing back full force.
Oh.
So that part hadn’t been a dream. He really had talked to the Human Beans.
But then that would mean…..
Tommy patted himself over, up and down, even pinching himself to check that he was in fact awake.
 He was back to his normal size.
3 whole glorious inches of pure normal TommyInnit.
But how?
 He was sure that he was going to be stuck Bean size forever, but here he was.
 Tommy’s head spun with a million questions.
 What if growing in size was a dream and I’m just waking up? But I have the cow plush which means I was given it. But maybe I did succeed in getting it, and I just left it in the guest room? But the bed sheets are messed up so clearly someone has slept in here so why would I be here now?
 Trying to shake the growing list of questions in his head, Tommy tried to focus on the things at hand. He would worry about what had happened later. Right now he needed to get back home.
 He made his way to the side of the bed closest to the wall, and stared down.
 Hidden in the corner behind the bed leg, was a tunnel entrance. The tunnel itself led to his home, just tucked within the corner wall of Wilbur’s bedroom right next door. It would be difficult without his equipment, but he could get down in mostly one piece.
 Maybe… Steeling himself, he turned around and began to slowly descend down the side of the bed, before momentarily stopping and climbing back up.
 Well he couldn’t just leave the cow plush behind! Not after all the trouble it had caused from his maybe real-not real dream.
 It really needs a name. Henry sounds nice.
 After ‘gently’ dropping Henry down to the floor, Tommy was about to resume his descent down before suddenly the sound of someone approaching made their way to the guest room door.
 Tommy knew those pretentious footsteps anywhere.
‘Knock’
‘Knock’
‘Knock'
“Tommy, are you up? Dad’s made breakfast.” The muffled voice of Wilbur drifted through the closed doorway.
Well that answered it then.
 Definitely NOT a dream.
“Tommy? Are you awake?”
Tommys’ heart pounded against his chest.
Oh Prime. They knew he existed. They actually knew!!!
“Tommy?” Wilbur knocked again, concern lacing their voice.
They can’t know. You’re dead if they know.
“Tommy? You okay in there?”
Get back to the walls.
“Tommy?”
Run Tommy. He’s going to enter and then he’ll see what you are.
“Tommy, I’m going to come in on the count of 3 okay?”
Please…
“1”
Don’t,
“2’
Come,
  “3”
 Tommy dropped to the floor behind the bed leg just as the door opened, his heart pounding in his chest as he gripped his shirt to try and ground himself.
 “Tommy? Tommy where- Tommy are you in here?”
 With bated breath, Tommy slowly peaked his head out to get a better look at his situation. Of course all he could see was Wilbur's stupid fancy shoes (seriously? It’s like 9am and he’s wearing those pretentious shoes at home?) but more importantly, he could hear the panic rising in Wilbur’s voice at his sudden disappearance.
 “Dad- Dad, the kid’s gone!”
 Tommy watched as Wilbur frantically ran out of the room to find Phil.
Oh Prime he’d made him worried. He’d F***** made Wilbur worried about him…
No. No this was for the best.
 He needed to leave while he still could. Especially now that he’s small again. Him staying would be nothing but more trouble for the Crafts.
 “What do you mean he’s gone?” Phil’s voice trailed to Tommy from the kitchen.
 “He can’t have just disappeared.”
Oh f***. Now he’d made Phil worried too.
“Wilbur, did you check all the rooms? He couldn’t have just left?”
The panicked footsteps of Wilbur returned and Tommy watched with guilt rising from his gut as Phil’s green slippers walked past with Wilbur's shoes by the guest room door.
 “But what if he left during the night Dad? It’s not like he can’t unlock the window with the keys still in the lock?”
 “I doubt we would have slept through that mate. If not us, definitely not Techno.” The concern in Phil’s voice seemed to increase with every word.
 He- he was, making them more worried.
 Like really REALLY worried about him.
 But, they just met? They shouldn’t care like that?
 Not for him anyways… right?
 He’s just some dirty street kid in their eyes, which isn’t entirely wrong but surely Beans don’t just care for people like that? Well maybe they would for other Beans but for Tommy? He’s not even the right size for that to be even slightly true right now.
 If they found him in his weak, small helpless Borrower form, he’d be done for!
And if things couldn’t get worse for the Borrower, that's when Tommy felt it. His entire body began to tingle with an unfamiliar sensation and suddenly, he felt himself growing.
“S***, S***, S***!”
 Tommy was sprinting to get out from under the bed as he felt himself growing in the cramped up space. He’d barely stumbled forward before hitting his head with a thump beneath the bed's wooden frame.
 “What was that?”
 Tommy’s blood froze as the set of footsteps thundered down the hallway towards him. He scrambled back as far as he could, cupping his hands over his mouth to muffle any unwanted noises escaping himself as the green slippers reappeared in his vision; exasperated breathing filling the eerie silence.
 He remained completely still, as Phil presumably scanned the room before the elder let out a sigh and moved towards the door.
 Tommy let out a breath he hadn’t realised he’d been holding, as he watched the retreating shoes leave.
 That had been close.
 Too close…
 ‘It’s okay, Phil didn’t find you. I’ll just stay here and wait till they all leave and work out how to shrink again and then-’
“Hi mate.”
Tommy shrieked in surprise, hitting his head on the bed frame in the process.
 Phil was down on the floor looking straight at him with concerned bright blue eyes, a hand up in surrender and an amused smile.
How had he not noticed him get down on the floor?!
 He’d just watched him leave for Primes sake!
 “Woah woah, it's alright Tommy just breathe.”
 Tommy scrambled back as far as he could. Even though it was cramped, he was still small enough Bean size to put a little distance between them.
 “Stay away from me.” He growled, trying to mask his fear in attempts to make the blonde leave.
 Even though he had meant to leave, in the Beans' eyes, it had appeared like he’d tried to run away. If he came out now, he’d probably be punished for trying to pull such a stunt. He didn’t want that…
Not from Phil.
“Tommy shh, shh. It’s alright. I’m not going to hurt you.” Phil tried to soothe, crawling ever so slightly closer.
 “Stay back.” Tommy spat, pushing further against the wall.
He could feel where Henry was squashed against him and his enlarged limbs with the wall. He felt bad for the little plushie, but that was far from his concerns right now.
  “Why didn’t you respond when we were calling for you? We were so worried you’d left.”
Worried, he’d left? Really?
“Normally when you help someone out, they respond when someone knocks to let them know breakfast is ready. Not have the host worry about their guests' whereabouts and find them hiding beneath the bed.”
 Tommy kept pushing himself further into the corner and his wall entrance.
 He knew it.
 He’d f***** up.
 Phil shouldn’t have even found him! He didn’t mean to grow again, he just wanted to get back in the walls. But then they’d have been worried anyway and now Phil was pissed at him for not responding and being under the bed and now-
“Tommy- Tommy breathe. It’s alright. You’re not in trouble.”
 The confused look on Tommy’s face must have said it all, because Phil explained.
 “Tommy, it's okay. You’re not in trouble for doing any of that. I was just worried, okay? Wil and I both were. We thought something might have happened to you and we wanted to check you were okay.”
 Tommy took a shaky breath in and stared at Phil. There was a chance he was lying, but it was hard to believe from the gentle smile the older man was pointing his way.
“Would you mind if I join you?” Phil asked timidly. “I can stay here if you prefer, I’d just like to talk.”
 “Dad! Dad! Dad! He’s not anywhere in the house he’s- uh… why are you on the floor?”
Wilbur. Right.
 He’d managed to worry him too hadn’t he?
“Wilbur, could I get you to wait outside for me? Kinda in the middle of something here.” The man said, turning his head awkwardly to presumably look at his son.
 “Is he - under the bed?”
 Tommy could only imagine Wilbur was pointing down at him from where he stood with a stupid look of confusion on his face. He rolled his eyes at the thought.
 “Yeah he’s fine. Just, can you give us a minute?”
 Without another word, Tommy watched as the obnoxious brown shoes retreated from the guest room, the door slowly closing after with a soft click.
“So about joining you under the bed?”
Tommy drew his attention back to Phil.
 Phil really didn’t seem like he was going to grab him and pull him out and punish him or hurt him if he came under. Not that it mattered even if he didn’t.
He wouldn’t be escaping any time soon as it was in his current state…
  With a timid nod, Phil’s smile brightened ever so slightly and he crawled his way under the bed. There certainly wasn’t enough space for the grown man to do so, but regardless he stuffed himself under, joining the boy in the cramped space.
“You know, Wilbur and Techno used to play hide and seek in here all the time.” Phil said as he tried to get situated.
 “This used to be one of their favourite hiding spaces until they got too big to hide under here. I’m surprised I actually made it under here at all.” he said with a chuckle.
 Tommy bit his lip.
 The sight of Phil was rather funny. If anyone were to look at the scene from beyond the bed, it would be a rather silly sight to see the grown man attempting to fit, but Tommy couldn’t help but linger on the thought of the twins playing hide and seek.
 He’d never been allowed to join in such games with the other Borrower children. Or when they had let him, he’d always hide, but never be found. It got to a point where he wouldn’t even try to hide to just have someone find him.
 It became pretty clear they had no intentions to do so.
“You alright?” Phil said, breaking his thoughts. “Something you want to talk about?”
 “Uh no no I’m fine. Just thinking about something unimportant.”
Me, he thought bitterly.
“Okay well I was coming to invite you to breakfast but if you’d prefer to stay here we can. I’d just like to get a better idea of helping you get home and find that thing you were after is all.”
 Phil watched how Tommy’s face perked up at the mention of food but deflated when it came to home or talking about what he was after. Maybe he’d run away from home, trying to get away from a bad situation? But then again he was after something, so that could mean anything.
At least food seemed like an in with Tommy.
“How about we start with where your parents are, yeah? I’m sure they’re worried about you.”
 “Ain’t got any.” Tommy stated flatly.
 “They abandoned me when I was a baby.”
 “Oh.”
Phil didn’t miss how blank Tommy’s face was at the statement.
“Are you staying with anyone else at the moment?”
Surely someone had been looking after this child?
“I had some people looking after me for a while, but they kicked me out when I was 13. Been looking after myself ever since.” Tommy finished with a shrug, as if the information shouldn’t be surprising.
 But judging by the horrified look on Phil’s face, that clearly hadn’t been the answer he’d been after so he was quick to add,
 “I don’t need anyone! I’m a Big man and waaay more capable than you can imagine Big Man. Been looking after myself for the past 3 years, easy peasy.”
“You’re 16?”
 Tommy shifted nervously under Phil's disbelieving gaze.
3 years.
For 3 years this child had been on his own. Tommy didn’t look anywhere close to 16 years old. He knew he was skinny and malnourished based on appearance alone, but for 16 he was way worse than what he first thought. Maybe he was lying about his age? He looked like he could be 13, maybe 14 at most now, but clearly he had not been doing okay if he could see his ribs poking through his shirt. Perhaps not eating stunted his growth?
“Do you- have you had somewhere to stay?” Phil asked hesitantly. He didn’t want Tommy to run off if the reason he was on his own was because of past potential abuse.
 “I do. I’ve switched houses a few times and I’m currently in this nice place at the moment.”
 Tommy paused, looking away almost shamefully before continuing.
 “Though I’m not sure y- um my, uh- neighbours will want me around when I go back. They probably think I’m a pest like you do right now; wasting your time under the bed.”
 “Oh no no Tommy! I don’t think that at all!” Phil was quick to reassure.
 “You’re not a pest! Who the f*** ever told you you were?”
 Tommy looks away in shame.
 “Tommy look, you just got spooked waking up in an unfamiliar setting right? We didn’t mean to frighten you. We just got concerned when you didn’t respond. I don’t mind being under the bed if you feel safer here.”
 Phil watched as Tommy took what he said in, the gears turning in the blonde boy's head. Phil had to suspect that something had to have happened to him more than just getting kicked out of home if his first instinct was to hide.
 “You’re not mad that I hid?” Tommy asked timidly.
 “No, not at all. We just want to help you get back home and find that thing you were trying to find yesterday.”
 Tommy relaxed a little at this but not completely. There was still some uncertainty in his gaze but Phil didn’t want to overstep.
Baby steps Phil. Baby steps.
“I’m sure whatever it is we can help you find it. Maybe if we call your neighbours they could come-”
“NO.” the boy snapped, eyes wide, but just as quickly reeled back as he realised his outburst, instead reiterating himself.
“Uh I mean, no. No, there's no point calling them. I don't have their uh- names to call.”
Phill blinked at him.
“...sure mate, it’s fine.”
“Besides,” Tommy continued.
 “I know my way back to them once I get to um the- the park.”
“Oh that’s not far from here. We can take you back there after breakfast if you like?” Phil offered with a small smile and something sad behind his gaze. Not that Tommy noticed as he mentally slapped himself.
“Oh um, thank you.”
Did Tommy feel bad about lying through his teeth?
 Yes. Yes he did.
 But he couldn’t exactly tell Phil that he lived in his walls and that he, Wilbur and Techno were his neighbours. But lying and saying he can get home once he’s taken to the park?
TOMMY YOU FLIPPEN DUMBA** DON’T SAY THAT!!
Now he’s going to be taken to the park, AWAY from his actual home! That’s exactly what he doesn't want to happen!!!
“Well how do you feel about some breakfast then? I made waffles.”
 “That would be nice, thanks.”
How does he keep getting into these situations?
New au infodump?
Dystopian au go brr
This is going to be a dystopian (:0 shocking) sci-fi world with a borrower Tommy who has a special wristband that lets him sizeshift, a gift from a long lost friend.
The au is mainly sbi centric (because I have a very very hard time writing anything else, though believe me I will try one day), other than Tommy there will be avian hybrid Philza, piglin hybrid Technoblade, and shrunken phantom Wilbur who got shrunken due to technical issues with a device he was tinkering with (and now needs to figure out how to get back to normal size).
The sbi are all first class, first district people, which, though it does make them seem stuck up and posh, they don’t actually know about the crumbling world of the lower districts.
Tommy’s been forced to steal to survive, and while shifted into human form, accidentally loses his way and finds himself in the higher districts, where he runs into Phil.
…you can probably guess that Phil’s hybrid brain goes to ‘child-its-child-why-sad-keep-safe’
Phil offers to take Tommy to his house, wanting to help him as well as pry information out of him to try and find out why he’s so scrawny
Tommy (reluctantly) takes up the offer because free food and a chance to steal something of actual value so he can get a lot of money, two birds with one stone in a way…
Oh and I forgot to mention that the sbi is kinda famous/important…
So they go to the sbi’s house and Tommy meets Techno and Wilbur, who are also enchanted by the blond. When Tommy sees Wilbur, he loses it for a moment, thinking that he’d finally found another one of his kind, until Techno explains the situation and Tommy feels ashamed he let his instincts control him like that and almost force him to shift.
They have dinner and game night, over which they bond with Tommy a lot, and even offer him to stay for the night ‘cause it’s dark out.
Tommy says yes, knowing how dangerous it is to walk the lower districts streets at any given point, especially at night, and they set him up in his new bedroom the guest room.
In the middle of the night Tommy wakes up from a nightmare and accidentally reopens a stab wound that he got a couple night ago (I did say the lower was dangerous after all), therefore his body shifts down to borrower size in order to heal it faster.
He can’t shift back until it’s healed, and now he’s at a upper class house with people that have been nothing but kind to him, though he knows that once they see him for the pest he is they’ll kick him out.
Fuck.
. . .
That’s about what chapter one should be, though I won’t start it for a while, homework is murdering me and I used to be at a really chill school with basically none of it so….
Please please please ask me about this, I would love to answer shit about it :D
This time with Tubbo and Tommy in the Store Shifter au (also i did warn you that Tommy was gonna look like a scene kid but i didn’t want to put that much detail in every frame so it’s toned back for now)
Anyway yeah Wilbur is Tommy’s boss and doesn’t know about the existence of shifters or borrowers, so sometimes Tommy has to go to some lengths to hide it…
thinking of a new au! still need to come up with a name for it,, but here’s a quick explanation-
ranboo, a foster kid, gets lost in a nearby forest one day. right when he thinks his day couldn’t get worse, it starts to rain.
panicked, he runs, but luckily, he finds a cave nearby to hide in.
unluckily, that cave is already inhabited.
by a dragon, no less.
oh dear.
..meanwhile, a dragonshifter tommy is having a bad day. he’s lost, far from his home, and now he’s stuck hiding in a cave from the rain.
and as if the gods wanted to make his day even more terrible, suddenly, a human finds his hiding spot.
fuck.
Secrets, what a fucking stupid thing. They were so difficult to hide from his clueless family, and just a bitch to try and regulate on the daily.
Well, he supposes that secrets have no part in his inability to control his size shifting abilities, but his point still stands nonetheless.
He’s been with this family for about ten years now, and not a word about his powers-slash-curse have left him, but he’s fairly certain that he was just hit with a decade-lasting streak of pure luck, because everyone who personally knows him, and even those who’re mere acquaintances to him will mention this one thing: lying never goes well for him.
Something will come along to fuck it up, surely.
And it did, it just took significantly longer than he thought it would.
The reasoning behind this sudden reveal was actually incredibly stupid, and he was a fucking idiot for letting it happen. The Morning Topic was usually something Tommy looked forward to, he really enjoyed mindlessly rambling to a family member about his interest—or occasionally his disinterest—in a specific topic. But, this morning, as he approached a kitchen full of his brothers and heard Wilbur say something incredibly concerning, he felt a particular dread fall upon him. He hasn’t felt that in a long, long time.
“What do you think of those sizeshifting fucks?” Wilbur asks, mouth full of his breakfast. Tommy makes a face, until he registers exactly what the brunet had said.
Tommy’s eyes widen—a thing he’d thought he got under control, apparently not. He could feel his insides churning. In the end, he feels positively sick, and he’s bluntly aware that there’s been a shift in his height. Mentally crossing his fingers, Tommy hopes to Prime that no one sees the sudden change in his usual bubbly attitude. He straightens up a bit, composing himself. He keeps his eyes away from everyone, studying the floor that’s become much more interesting to him than it was a moment ago.
“Mornin’,” Techno mumbles to him when Tommy accidentally bumps into him on his way to the fridge. Tommy startles, nearly stumbling over his two feet. His brother rose a brow at him, underlying amusement shining around his expression. “Good morning!” Tommy chirps far too nervously. Fuck, this is difficult. His chest tightens, and he checks just for a moment to see if he’s standing where he typically would at his normal height. It could use some work, but it was a relief to know that it wasn’t nearly as bad as he thought it was. He smiles awkwardly and returns to the fridge.
Wilbur clears his throat, the attention-hungry bastard turning all eyes back to him. Techno catches on, and Tommy is practically trembling at the thought of Techno’s response. While he knew that there was still wiggle-room for interpretation in Wil’s question, the harshness he’d immediately picked up on was nothing but another worry to his hassled mind. And for a self-proclaimed “anarchist” such as Techno, he could only wonder what his standpoint on “outcasts” such as Tommy himself was.
He actually hopes it’d stay in his wonders—he really doesn’t want unnecessary closure.
“They’re alright,” Techno mumbled.
Tommy takes a subtle, deep inhale of breath and holds it for as long as possible, just to avoid the constant rise and fall of his chest, because, yes,  he can keep his face calm, but even then, hyperventilating would be a dead give away. He buries his face in the fridge, enjoying the fact that he was completely hidden. He moved around the contents before finding a familiar pitcher. While experimenting with certain drinks, he’d accidentally created something completely new and absolutely delicious. No other person likes it, not even Tubbo.
More for him, he supposes.
“What about you, Tommy?” Wilbur asks, and his voice sounds unusually loud. Tommy shuts the fridge door and keeps his back facing Wilbur and Techno. His thoughts spiral, a million things running around at once, and he finds it terribly hard to hold his breath for much longer. He exhales as quietly as possible. “I don’t know what that is, so,” he says quietly. Taking a glass from the cabinet, Tommy wonders what it’d be like to simply leave, to just start a life at a better size, preferably a small one, something simple and easy. Hiding from humans, how hard can it be, really? He’s done it for at least fifteen years, what’s the rest of his life?
“You don’t know what a sizeshifter is?” Techno asks, and Tommy can feel the man’s maroon eyes boring into the back of his head. He pours the drink and returns its spot in the fridge quickly. “No,” he lies, taking a sip. The taste floods his senses and calms him so quickly, it’s like fucking magic.
Finally, he gathers the strength to face his brothers. As suspected, the two of them are looking at him like he’s said something incredibly shocking or offensive.
“…What?” he accuses the two of them, downing the rest of his drink. “They’re basically,” Wilbur pauses to think, but Techno intervenes— “It’s in the name, just put two and two together, Wilbur doesn’t need to explain it to you.”
Tommy scoffs at the man, some family he is. “They…size…shift?” he “guesses”, faking his intrigue when Wilbur and Techno nod in unison at him.
“Okay…” he trails off, growing increasingly more awkward by the second.
“Well, then, do you think about them? Do you think they’re a part of society, or should they be rejected?” Wilbur asks.
The question is so stupid, the correct answer is painfully obvious, how can neither of them see this? Internally, Tommy groans. He screams. He hates The Morning Topic today.
He swallows, biting down the bile that has been steadily rising in his throat. I–I don’t know, that’s a bit harsh, innit? Rejecting them–?”
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
There’s no doubt about the fact that he’s shrunk at least a few inches. It’s no matter…he’s still taller than Techno, which is the big thing he’s trying to keep steady. Because as soon as he drops to even eye-level, he’s royally fucked.
“Are you alright, Tommy?” Wilbur asks, discarding the topic. His shoulders slump in relief. His pulse is still going at a fierce pace and he still feels that back-of-mind panic. He nods easily, despite not being alright. His own brothers are dissing his kind right in front of him. He hates to say that it makes him feel a little upset, and most definitely un-fucking-comfortable.
There’s a hand on his shoulder, he feels himself lose an inch, or perhaps gain one at the sudden scare. He startles again. “Tommy, why're you all jumpy?” Techno questions, Tommy nearly whimpers. He shouldn't be acting like this, why now is he not able to control himself? He has to leave—leave, leave, leave.
“Big test coming up today! See you, dear family!” he hurries to leave, cringing at his terrible excuse. He’ll have to work on that, there's no doubt about the fact that he’s already raised suspicion. Prime, he’s so stupid! How come he made it through the most immature years of his life without a spillage, but the moment he turns a respectable age, all hell breaks loose?
Thankfully, he’s out the door before any of his siblings chase after him. He huffs, his breath coming out a puff of smoke. He shivers, perhaps shrinking a little bit. Tommy’s not sure how tall he is, but as far as he’s aware, if he’s shorter than Ranboo and taller than Tubbo, he’ll be able to get away with his normal level of excuses.
About mid-way to school, it became apparent to Tommy that he had forgotten a lot of things. He’s got his backpack, but he can't recall what he’d taken out and what he’d put back in. And he’s regrettably left his phone sitting on his nightstand, still plugged in. His lunch and wallet have been left somewhere in the house, and he’s really starting to get cold with his thin hoodie.
He swallows, using what little control he has to grow just a bit more, hoping that with a larger form he’ll drop his trip down a good ten minutes.
And it does. Well, he doesn't really know if it does or not, because his fucking phone is having the time of its life in his bedroom.
Tommy murmurs to himself as he walks across the frosty grass. It crunches under his footsteps, which he remembers are far too thick—he shifts back down to a reasonable height.
“Tommy!” Tubbo calls him. Tommy’s eyes drift around until he finds the ridiculously short boy, standing next to ridiculously tall Ranboo. He lights up at Tubbo, but not so much at Ranboo. He likes him fine, don't get him wrong, but sometimes a new member to a life-long duo can be a difficult adjustment. Forgive him for being a bit cautious.
“Big T! Big R!” he greeted, his nervous mind already beginning to settle down. He finds himself so at ease with his friends, Ranboo included.
The three of them follow each other into school, chatting a very normal, non-size-shifter-related conversation.
**
So he's panicky again. It's his last period: art. Not particularly bad but not necessarily good, either. It's just kind of…there. And so he takes the time to space out and run through everything that could go wrong when he heads home. Wilbur confronts him, Techno studies him, which is arguably worse because he can never know what Techno’s thinking. Phil will undoubtedly notice the unresolved tension between the three siblings, and worst of all, Tommy’s probably going to crack under three prying full-grown men. It’s his life’s biggest secret against the three people he’s finally felt at home with. Fuck, what has his life come to?
Tommy taps his pen on his paper. His teacher silently glared at him and he suddenly stopped, flushing a faint pink before returning to his actual, life-changing problem. After a short while of staring out into his terribly detailed thoughts, he was being dragged out of them by Ranboo’s hand pressing against him. It squeezed his shoulder gently, and Tommy zoned back in. He watched with concern as he saw his class shuffle around to get ready to leave. His eyes widened, since when had class ended? Had he been so wrapped up in horror that he’d completely missed one of the loudest things the school can offer? He’s really screwed, isn’t he?
“Hey, Tommy, are you good, man?” Ranboo questioned him. The tall boy took a few steps ahead and took a seat in the chair that sat next to him. Tommy reluctantly looked at Ranboo, who in return squinted their eyes to signify his attempt of a smile. The mask kind of ruined the effort, though, and it made the gesture look more threatening than they’d probably intended.
Tommy swallowed and nodded. He was lucky he was sitting or else his shift would have definitely been noticeable. He’d dropped a good few inches by now, purely from stress and guilt. The thing is: Tommy knows that his family probably wouldn’t give a damn if he opened up and said what he was. He thinks they’d embrace him in any way, he’d been with them long enough to understand how each of their minds would work. If anything, the worst that would happen is he’d be teased about it and constantly bothered whenever a family member needed help. That’s….it.
So why is he so god damn nervous? It’s not even like they’re onto him that hard, he can easily use the excuse that he was having a bit of a morning and leave this whole crisis behind in the dust.
“Tommy,” Ranboo clapped, bringing him back successfully for the second time. Tommy bit his lower lip and looked at Ranboo, embarrassed. “Sorry,” he murmured.
“Are you okay?” Ranboo asked again, and Tommy did no different and nodded, “All good, big man! Now go home, no one needs to spend any extra time in this hellhole,” he reassures and snickers at the reaction from his teacher, who’s been watching the two of them with a certain irritation that turns it amusing. Ranboo’s eyes shine with uncertainty but the brunet stands all the same. Tommy follows suit and finds himself trailing after the man, almost cowering behind him. He’s really not ready to go home.
After Ranboo and Tubbo had bid their goodbye to Tommy and the three of them had gone their respective ways, Tommy was an anxious mess. He was dropping inch after inch until he was barely the size of a hand, a size he’d rarely found himself at involuntarily. He was so good at maintaining his size, why now must he fuck it up? He sniffled and paused his journey through his neighborhood so he could collect himself. Tears were, for some reason, streaming down his face. With the speed he could muster at a size like his current one, he leaned against a potted plant placed by the porch of one of their neighboring houses. He drew down the pottery, curling in on himself by drawing his knees up to his chest and burying his face in his lap.
By the time he managed to control himself and stop fucking sobbing for a second, he drew his head up. The sunlight played with his eyes, and the tears clouded his vision. He sniffled, wiping his nose with his sleeve. He’ll have to be late, there’s no way he can sneak inside without his family noticing. Tommy sighs and pulls himself together well enough to stand. With weak limbs—or at least his brain is convincing him they are, he doesn’t really know if anything is wrong—he tried to focus on sizing back up. But, before he could do so, Tommy thankfully caught sight of his brother. He flinched so hard he thought he may just regain his six feet right then and there. However right now growing was the thing he didn’t want, so he scrambled behind the orange pot before he got noticeably large. Shit, shit, shit. He hid, nails grasping at the grass helplessly with nails digging into the dirt. He pushed his body up against the side of their neighbors house and held that position for a long while, his free hand clasped tightly over his mouth to rid of all of his stupid fucking heavy breathing.
Tommy waited for what must’ve been ten minutes before he let his body lose its tension. It felt like heaven to release his muscles and he slumped against the pot gleefully. He sat there for a moment and sat patiently with his thoughts.
He doesn’t know how much time has passed, but he thinks he should probably get up. And he does. Tommy’s shoes slide in the damp grass as he shuffles up, brushing off the grass sticking to his legs and hands. There’s residue of dirt that remains, but he doesn’t pay much mind to it.
Tommy calmed himself and focused on his actual height. He felt the surroundings shift and when he opened his eyes, he was surprised to find that he was exactly where he needed to be. Or, at least, it was a familiar height to be at. And with that, he quickly got off of their neighbor’s lawn and continued on the sidewalk, rubbing at his eyes uncomfortably. Tommy really hopes that he sat long enough for it to fade away.
It takes twenty three seconds to get onto their porch. He counted it, because it was the only thing that stopped his thoughts and took away the jelly-like feeling in his legs. He hates himself for continuing, because he knows that at least Wilbur is home. And Wilbur is not the one he wants to see.
He opens the unlocked door and walks in, slipping his shoes off as quickly as he can. He pushes them in the corner and awkwardly maneuvers the door shut. Finally, he is home. His hands are shaking and everything is screaming no and he’s fairly certain he’s dropped three inches but he’s home. Much to his dismay, Wilbur is nowhere in sight. He scans around the ground floor, and carefully steps around the house to avoid giving anything away. Slowly, Tommy makes his way to the stairs and creeps up them, cringing at the loud whine that echoes around the space. Fuck. He quickened his pace and raced up the stairs, nearly stumbling over himself on the way down the hall. He slips into his room and closes the door as gently as possible. God fucking damn it.
Now alone, Tommy lets himself slip further and further down the door until he’s at a comfortably small height. He places a hand over his heart to slow his breathing as he pads to under his bed. While sizeshifting can be a bitch to manage and one of the worst aspects of his life, he’s still managed to adapt to it. A perk of being able to be so small is he’s able to hide everything. If he has something he doesn’t want anyone to see, he shrinks it. So, naturally, he had to make a hideout under his bed—it just felt right.
He made it a few years ago, after he’d become really good at managing his shifting, and he’s used it everyday since. It was comfortable, hidden, and best of all just fucking amazing.
Tommy knew he should probably be more careful considering that it may be a bit difficult to back up in the events where a family member is looking for him at that exact moment, but…still.
He fell face-first onto a pillow, tiredly grabbing at the pillowcase so he could pull himself onto it more. The pillow took up most of the room, then he’d shrunken a mini-fridge—which had struck a rather interesting conversation with his father after he’d noticed it was missing—and next to that was a little desk he got from Tubbo, who’d claimed he found it laying around in his room, but Tommy’s well aware of the fact that Tubbo took it from his sisters’ dollhouse. That sums up the room. It wasn’t the best and was overdue for a remodel any moment now, yet for some reason he put it off every time.
Tommy shifted around on the pillow, sizing down just a bit more so he could sink into the feathers. He wished he could be this comfortable around his family, he really fucking does.
But then again, Wilbur had unintentionally told him everything he needed to know.
Tommy sighs and tries to move past those thoughts so he can fall asleep.
However, speak of the devil, Wilbur knocks on his door. He startles, tumbling off of the pillow and onto his bedroom floor. He scrambled to his feet and instantly paused when the two of them locked eyes. Shit. He hurries to shut off the fairy lights that circled his hideout and then cowered away in the shadows, tiny hands cautiously wrapping the bottom of his nightstand. They stared at each other, or at least Wilbur stared at whatever he was seeing, that being Tommy or simply his hands. He watches as Wilbur’s face shifts to a million different expressions before it settles into an irritated—curious, but mainly irritated—one.
Shit.
“Tommy?” Wilbur asks, his voice sounding entirely too forced. Tommy didn’t respond, and just ever-so-slowly slid his body to where it was fully submerged into the shadows. He slumped against the wooden bedside table and held his breath, hands digging into the skin on his legs. He squeezes his eyes shut when he hears Wilbur approach him with gentle footsteps. Tommy doesn’t even know if he’s pretending to be friendly, because he’s never interacted with anyone when he’s an abnormal height. His mind tells him that Wilbur is faking it and Tommy scoots away from the very edge, deeper and deeper into the void. He opened his eyes and released his breath after his lungs began to scream at him. He stared into the gray-black abyss and silently pleaded to the shadows to eat him whole. He knows he’d much rather prefer that over whatever Wilbur was about to do.
“Tommy,” his brother’s voice called out again. He was so, so fucking close to Tommy. Wilbur’s slow breaths echo tenfold in his head. Still, he doesn’t reply.
He silently waits for Wilbur to do something. To say something, to grab him, to kill him, anything. There’s a million possible endings circling his thoughts right now. But before any of them can happen, Tommy’s door is opening and Wilbur’s attention on the tiny has been split right down the middle. From the corner of his vision, he watches as Wilbur stands up. Now all he has to do is hope to Prime that Wilbur doesn’t snitch on him just yet.
“Oh, Wilbur–is Tommy home yet, mate?” Phil asks.
He shuffled to watch their conversation. He kneels, tiny hands wrapping the bottom of his nightstand again. He watches as Wilbur looks momentarily at him, glaring his brown eyes right through Tommy’s skull. He shudders.
“I don’t know,” Wilbur says after turning his head back.
Happy secret Santa!
Here was the prompt I chose:
Ranboo has two lives, one he lives in summer, and the other in winter. He seeks out the goddess of death to remove his other side, but... her idea of a solution is to give him a tiny hybrid?
(Also sorry it's so close to the deadline, school and finals were kind of kicking my ass.)
...
Cut You a Piece
tw mentioned temporary character death, terminal illness, calling someone it in a dehumanizing way (not maliciously or for long, dw) fear of death, fear play (accidental and intentional), threats of vore (very off hand and only mentioned once) and fear of death.
Tell me if I should tag anything else!
Title from "Cut You a Piece" from 35mm! (Even though it was based on Hadestown lmao)
...
Ranboo knew he was Ranboo. That- that part he knew. He knew it was cold. And he knew it was- that it COULD BE warm, but he never got to experience that part.
Not anymore.
Ranboo knew he was cursed, he knew that as well. He remembered it well, the veil over the witch's face and his green robes. The way his magic particles looked like feathers. His scary body guard forcing him off the premises before Ranboo could realize what happened.
He was cursed seven years ago, when he was ten for trying to sneak a cure for his friend's illness. The witch laughed and laughed when he caught him, and cursed him so he'd never see his friend again.
This all fell out in December. And Tubbo died in January.
It was a long two months for Ranboo. Sitting in his house, studying magic and necromancy and curses and healing spells. Tubbo was cursed to die, for the illness wouldn't have killed him if Ranboo hadn't met that witch.
This death was a curse, and if Ranboo was any magic user at all, he could lift it.
No, Tubbo was in pain, suffering, but he wouldn't have died. He would have turned into a beast, a horned monster that would ravage and burn towns if Ranboo didn't heal it.
And well, being the only person with healing magic in the village, even at ten years old, it was all on him.
But at the end of it, Tubbo was no longer a patient. But Ranboo's only friend.
Ranboo remembers the first time it happened.
He went to sleep in one March day, tomorrow the Spring Solstice. And he woke up in September.
He ran into town, asking frantically what had happened. He ran into Niki's bakery, feeling like just yesterday she was putting away her winter stock. And now she was taking it out again.
"Ranboo!" Niki smiled. "Thank you for helping me with those boxes yesterday, flour can be SO heavy."
Ranbo blinked at her. He... doesn't remember doing that. "I'm sorry Niki I... don't think I did help you. Maybe it was someone else?"
Niki laughed. "Of course it was you! What other ten year old do I know that's nearly six feet tall-"
She cut herself off as she turned around, blanching. "Oh shit! You look half starved to death! Sit down sit down!"
"Niki," Ranboo's gears were turning. "How could I have helped with the boxes?! I can barely lift five potions at once!"
"I don't know," Niki shrugged, putting down in front of him a warm loaf of bread and some juice. "You've been helping me all throughout Summer. I guess it is weird... how could you help me? And you looked fine yesterday! Why are you so... scrawny now?"
"That witch..." Ranboo put together the pieces. "Niki, do you remember what I was wearing yesterday?"
Niki thought for a moment. "That checkered brown jacket you always- wait... you don't have a checkered brown jacket... Tubbo did but he's-"
"Gone." Ranboo gulped. He stuffed the rest of the bread in his mouth and hopped up towards the door. "Thank you Niki!"
And it had been going like that ever since. And when Ranboo was awake, everyone thought Tubbo was dead, and that whatever Tubbo had done was Ranboo. The other way around must be true as well.
The witch had done his job. He would never see Tubbo again. Not in this half and half state.
So Ranboo was traveling to the underworld. He started his journey when he woke up for the winter at seventeen. And now in a week's time (he silently thanked Tubbo for understanding his goal, keeping him on track), Ranboo would fall asleep for the spring.
The grass was grey, thats the first thing he noticed as he stepped through the portal filled with stars. That and the sky was black. No... the sky was dark. It was purple then grey then blue and it all just looked like sand being swirled up by the tide.
Ranboo continued his trek, stuffing his hands in his pockets. The air was so cold it hurt to breath, and the dusty and... just overal somber smell of the Underworld didn't help much.
He was in a forest. Maybe? They weren't quite trees, inky black against the dark sky, sprawled out awkwardly, bent into shapes they shouldn't grow in. They were packed tightly together.
"And who are you then?"
Ranboo sucked in a breath, whipping around, narrowly avoiding tripping and falling on the roots. "Who's there?!"
"You don't look like you're from around here... you're..." the voice was small and quiet, so much so Ranboo thought he was imagining it. It wasn't like the voice was whispering either, it sounded like it wanted to be heard. "A human! What the fuck are you doing in the Underworld? And what the fuck are you doing on the way to the castle..."
"Show yourself!" Ranboo yelped as there was a noise behind him, twirling around and reaching for his- did he not bring any weapons?! "I- I have magic! Don't mess with me!"
"Tch. HEALING magic, hardly a threat to ME. Behind you."
Ranboo probably twisted his back 180 degrees as he fell to the floor, looking up at the creature in from of him.
It was... very small, maybe pinky finger sized? Ranboo had read about soul fire before, and the thing was enveloped in it. Or no... it had wings made of soul fire, and the rest was a glowing blue.
"Who- what are you?" Ranboo managed to squeak out.
The thing- the fairy? He sighed, crossing his arms, fluttering in the air. He spoke about as fast as his wings were beating, so very rapid and basically impossible to keep up with. "Apparently I'm not s'posed to give my name out, but Tommy isn't my name so you can call me that. And I'm CLEARLY an Underworld sprite. I'm supposed to guide souls to where their proper place in the afterlife is but you're not a soul! Not yet, anyway. Oh yeah, and quick question-"
The sprite zipped right up into Ranboo's face, making him yelp and back up. "Why are there TWO SOULS on you?! And why are you down here in the first place? Unless you're trying to get rid of one of the souls-"
"Yes!" Ranboo cut in. "I need the goddess of death to break this curse, and if you guide sould could you guide me to her castle?"
"Hmm... maybe for a favor!" Tommy had a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You're a healer, I want you to heal someone for me."
Ranboo wrung out his hands nervously. "I don't know how well healing magic works on the dead-"
"It doesn't! Harms them, in fact-" Tommy stated matter of factly. "No no no, my friend. I need you to heal the human of these woods. He's got a curse and he can't see his wife until it's lifted and he's being all sad and depressed about it-"
"I... don't really have the best track record with curses..." Ranboo admitted. He could somehow feel himself starting to sweat through the cold. "Maybe you could- WOAH!"
Ranboo jumped back in fright as Tommy shifted size right next to him, human sized. He was still a good half a foot shorter than him, but Ranboo was still no match for the sprite's strength.
And even at human sized, Tommy was lightning fast. He zipped through the forest faster than he could blink, taking him to an old cabin. It looked about as dead as anything else in the underworld, the wood grey from time, splintered. Cracked windows, overgrown discolored grass, Ranboo would never want to go there in a million years.
But unfortunately, Tommy was still grasping his forearm, and darted inside.
"PHIIIIIIIL!!!" Tommy called out. A man was sitting on an arm chair, facing away from them both. "I got a human to heal you up!"
The man chuckled, Ranboo sucked in a breath. He knew who this guy was. "Tommy, I told you that only-"
The witch- Phil- turned around, frozen mid sentence when he saw Ranboo. "That only the kid I cursed can heal me."
Ranboo squeaked, stumbling backwards and falling over. He scrambled to his feet, making a run towards the door.
"Shit!" Phil said under his breath as he drew a symbol in the air. The door in front of Ranboo slammed shut, and felt like solid cement as he desperately tried to open it again.
He can't get cursed. Not again. Not when he was so close to curing the first-
Phil stared at him with frustration, closed off and proper posture. He was going to finish the job, he was going to kill him. And he would laugh while doing it. He laughed the first time he hurt Ranboo.
"Kid- kid." Phil put his hands up when he saw Ranboo pressed as hard as he could against the door, as far as he could be from the witch. "I'm- hrmmmm... I'm SORRY for cursing you all those years ago."
Ranboo blinked back, surprised. He stayed in his position though, ready to run. "What?"
Phil sighed. "I thought nothing of it but my wife... not a huge fan of the joke. I can only visit her in my other form, but she cursed me for cursing you and now I'm stuck like this. And the only way to BREAK the curse-"
"Is if I do it..." Ranboo finished his sentence, remembering Tommy's words from earlier. He squinted at the witch and the sprite. "Any why should I help the guy who took my only friend from me?"
"You're here for him, right?" Phil crossed his arms. "And the spring Solstice is in just two days I believe-"
Ranboo's eyes widened. He hadn't been in the underworld for THAT long, had he?! He still had a week left when he was on the surface...
"Which only gives you two days to find the goddess of death and get a deal with her," Phil shrugged. "Once my curse is lifted, I can get you to her much faster. And if you do decide to wait out the two days and your friend makes his appearence... his soul will have a very strange time getting used to being thrown into the underworld with no adjustment period like you got."
Ranboo froze. What the heck was that supposed to mean? Tubbo wouldn't... get hurt, right?
No, Ranboo wouldn't let either of them get hurt, not if he could do something about it.
Phil clicked his tongue. "Tick tock-"
"I'll do it." Ranboo glared.
Phil smiled, tilting his head. "Perfect."
...
You know, Ranboo should have expected this when Phil asked to be cured outside.
"Let go of me!" Ranboo struggled in the witch's now giant grasp, watching the trees grow smaller as they were lifted in the air.
What happened to Tubbo if Ranboo died?
Now they were squirming even harder. They didn't want to be the one to get the two of them killed. Why did they tempt the witch again? The very witch that cursed them in the first place?!
"Relax, mate," Phil gave a giant sigh. Ranboo could feel the vibrations extend all the way to his hands where they were being held. "Ranboo-"
Ranboo screamed as they were pulled closer to Phil's face. They kicked and punched their fists against his hand, eventually resorting to clawing at him with their nails.
"Stop- hey!" Phil snarled, shaking Ranboo violently. Their brain pounded in their skull when he finally stopped. Ranboo felt like they would throw up if they had eaten anything in the past few days. "Stop it, or I'll make you go the journey in my mouth."
Ranboo yelped, slapping a hand over their mouth. He wouldn't he WOULDNT-
... would he?! Phil had already cursed them basically at the drop of a hat, who's to say he won't-
"Phil!" Tommy shouted up, zipping onto the witch's shoulder. "Stop shaking them! Treat them like me! No threatening, no surprise picking up-"
"I would if they weren't trying to ESCAPE-" Phil glared back down at Ranboo. They sucked in a breath as his grasp tightened. "You want to see your friend, don't you?!"
Ranboo nodded frantically.
"Well, Tommy's not strong enough to carry you-"
"HEY!"
"And you won't be able to keep up on foot." Phil tilted his hand and opened it, allowing Ranboo to stand up. "So let me hold you, or let your friend wake up confused and scared for his life on why he's in the underworld in the hands of a giant. You want me to carry you or not?"
Ranboo froze in indecision before slowly nodding their head.
Phil brought his other hand up, using both hands to cup Ranboo and make sure they didn't fall as they crossed the underworld.
And... it was beautiful.
Ranboo didn't really get to appreciate it from down below, but the view stunned them nearly as much as their fear of Phil did. The trees were caked in white... snow? And the sky was shone when Ranboo tilted their head, like an opal. The clouds swirled and shifted, dancing even though there was no wind.
And in the distance... a giant castle. It was dark, darker than the neutral grey of the rest of the underworld. But with that it also had the only colors in the land, purple fires dotted the sides, torches about two or three times Ranboo's size.
Ranboo looked up to see what Phil was thinking and... the giant witch was smiling fondly as they approached the gates. Why would he be... no.
Was Phil's wife... sure. Yep. Phil's wife was the goddess of death. Why not.
"Kristen!" Phil shouted, both Ranboo and Tommy flinching and covering their ears. Tommy shoved at his jaw in annoyance. "I'm home!"
"Phil!"
The shadows casted by the large walls and the purple flames conjured together, before disputing and leaving yet another giant in their wake. She wore a large hat with a veil, covering her face and the upper half of her torso. Other than that, she wore a long black dress with long dark brown hair.
"I've missed you!" She laughed, walking forward to embrace her husband before noticing Ranboo. "And who is this? Wait! No way... you actually found them-"
"Well," Phil shrugged. "More they found me. And while they've cured me of my curse..."
Kristen crossed her arms. "They still need the cure YOU gave them lifted. Huh. Funny how those things come back to bite you, isn't it, Phil?"
Phil rolled his eyes. "Yes yes, I get it. No cursing random kids."
"So... can you do it?" Ranboo spoke up.
"Of course I can," Kristen said with an audible smile. Ranboo couldn't really tell if she was being sweet or bragging. She looked at one of Phil's shoulders. "Tommy, would you mind fetching me water from the moat of the castle? And Phil, I'll need-"
"Ow!" Phil yelped as Kristen plucked a hair from his head.
"Yes ma'am!" Tommy fluttered in the air for a second, saluting, before flying out of the gate. Phil followed Kristen into a side room, where there resided a giant cauldron.
Kristen got to work as Phil stood by her side. Tommy fluttered up to be by Ranboo as well, who had been placed on a shelf and was nervously wringing their hands.
They were going to see Tubbo again.
Kristen walked over with a ladle of inky black liquid, dotted with little white specks like stars.
"Ranboo," Kristen said slowly, not quite hitting the gentle mark. "You're going to drink this, and then you'll pass out. When you wake up, you'll be in the land of the living, with Tubbo. It will most definetly be painful, as we're essentially ripping apart your souls at the seams."
Ranboo looked at themselves in the reflection of the potion. "Will... is it going to be painful for Tubbo?"
Kristen shrugged, shaking her head. "You're the one with the body, I doubt he'll even realize what's happening until he's back."
Ranboo nodded gravely, cupping as much potion as they could in their hands. The world turned sideways. There was shouting? And then it all faded to black.
...
Ranboo wasn't expecting to wake up to be honest. If what Phil said was true, then the Spring Solstice was today, when they would fall asleep and Tubbo would wake up in their place.
But Ranboo woke up.
And Kristen was right. They did hurt like hell, all their nerves were on fire and their heart felt tight, but they were awake for sure.
They sat up in bed, not sure what to do now. In... their own bed, back home too. Ranboo hasn't been home since he was thirteen.
What if it didn't work? What if they were seperated but it didn't bring Tubbo back? Or if Tubbo was in the last place HE woke up? What if-
"Ranboo?"
Ranboo yelped. It was a few years older, but they definetly recognized that voice.
They looked over at their nightstand, where a tiny figure was sitting on the desk, like he had just woken up too. Brown messy hair, jet black horns and wings, it was unmistakably Tubbo.
"Ranboo!" Tubbo yelped, falling backwards before scampering to his feet. "What's happening?! What's-"
"You have wings!" Ranboo gasped. "And- it worked! Wait, Kristen actually- ha HA!"
Ranboo leaned down over their night stand and hugged Tubbo close to their face. Tubbo screamed.
"Sorry!" Ranboo flinched back. Tubbo stood firmly on the nightstand, like he was ready for a fight. "I'm just... so happy to see you. And... wait, do the wings mean you're still cursed."
Tubbo flexed his wings in and out, flapping them a few times. "They don't feel cursed? Like I was bedridden and in pain before... everything happened obviously. And while we were... seperated I had no features at all, like the curse had gone away overnight. But now they're just sort of there? Even though this is the first time I've had them they just feel... natural."
"That's good," Ranboo thought for a moment. "We should probably-"
There were footsteps downstairs.
Tubbo clearly heard, snapping his neck over. "You didn't get a new roommate while we were apart, right?"
Ranboo shook their head, not able to say anything else before the door opened.
They blinked away the blue light invading their eyes, making their headache ever prominent. "Tommy?!"
"You're finally awake!" Tommy laughed. He was at human size, carrying two glasses of water. "Took you long enough! You both slept WELL through the solstice, it was SO boring!"
"Tommy, why are you here?!" Ranboo took the glass, slowly sipping on it. "WHY are you here?!"
"Well, Kristen sent me to look after you while you adjusted," Tommy shruggedlike he wasn't talking about the literal goddess of death. "And since you two have been passed out the entire time, I've sort of just been making sure you guys were alive, messing with the locals a bit- wait a minute!"
Tommy shrunk down to Tubbo's size and flew right up to him, hsnd outstretched. "I'm Tommy! And I already know you're Tubbo, don't worry."
"Ranboo," Tubbo backed up. "Who is this guy."
"Tommy is... an underworld sprite," Ranboo scratched the back of their head, not really knowing how to say that lightly. "He's here to help. I think? Did Kristen of Phil send you?"
"Kristen," Tommy landed on the nightstand. "She couldn't completely undo the curse, clearly, so she sent me to make sure neither of you do anything stupid. Can you fly?"
Tubbo blinked back before flapping his wings rapidly as hard as he could. Nothing. "I don't think so."
"Hm." Tommy lifted in the air again. "We'll have to get that taken care of. Meet me downstairs when you're ready, we've got LOTS to talk about!"
Tommy launched off the desk and returned to human sized, walking back downstairs.
"I'm..." Tubbo turned back to Ranboo. "You know what? Nope! Not even gonna ask."
Ranboo snickered. "I'm glad you're back."
Tubbo snorted. "I'm glad YOURE back! Haven't seen you in forever."
Ranboo extended their hand, Tubbo stepping onto it. "Come on, let's go figure this out."
...
And they did.
It was a lovely spring, the first spring Ranboo had had in years. He took his sweet time walking around outside, helping out around the town between healing and being with Tubbo.
And Tubbo was adjusting as well as someone could in this sort of situation. With Tommy there to help, giving pointers on how to navigate through giant sized terrains, as well as him teaching Ranboo how to properly handle the tiny, it was going well.
"Is it bad I'm still nervous for the solstice?" Ranboo asked. Him and Tubbo had been looking out the window, with Tubbo snuggled in the little pocket in his shirt, watching the first dnow of the year. Which was surprising, as the solstice was tomorrow.
"Meh." Tubbo shrugged. "I'm... definetly nervous. But you know, old habits die hard, right?"
Ranboo hummed, the two looked out the window the rest of the night. Until they went up to bed.
"Goodnight," Ranboo yawned pulling over his covers.
"Night!" Tubbo stretched before curling up. They had discovered that as a dragon, Tubbo liked sleeping on piles. Not just gold pulls, but everything. Like fabric.
He let his eyes fall closed, and drifted to sleep. The rest was short, as it was cut off early in the morning by a loud crashing sound.
"Ranboo?!" Tubbo said from the floor, rubbing his head. Why was Tubbo so big?! "Where are you?! I can't see-"
"I'm under the blankets!" Ranboo shouted. Tubbo lifted up the covers and-
Tubbo was a giant. Ranboo scrambled back, realizing how small he was. He felt like he was with Phil and Kristen again.
"Here, let me put you on the desk," Tubbo grabbed Ranboo a bit tightly and plopped him in the nightstand. Ranboo collapsed.
"Don't do that please..." Ranboo was shaking like a leaf.
"Oh crap sorry-" Tubbo cringed back. "I know that that isn't the greatest feeling."
"And we had just gotten used to living with you as a tiny..." Ranboo whined, sighing.
It was going to be another long six months.
Big Man (pt 3 of shifting)
TW for pain, it's mostly fluff
If you asked Tommy what he thought of himself, he would automatically respond with “I’m clearly the biggest man in existence.” And that’s what Tommy would repeat to himself on days like these, where he would meet up with his friends. But today was worse. He didn’t understand his limits, and he certainly felt like he needed to shift, almost immediately after he woke up. Today was a day where he absolutely needed to be the big man that he was, and not the tiny little insect that would roam around the countertops. Today, he was going to see Wilbur Soot and Philza Minecraft. And here he sat, on a train, waiting to arrive at the train stop in London where the two of them would be waiting for him. He felt a sharp pain in his side, so he took a deep breath. He needed to be a big man. He relaxed as the pain left him a few seconds later, so he pulled out his phone and began looking through the fan-art. He envied people who could draw, able to get all of their thoughts onto paper in a breath-taking way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tommy wasn’t really timing anything, much less paying attention, but when he looked up again, the train was arriving in London. He grabbed his bag, and stood up as the train slowed to a stop. He made his way to the exit, stepping out and taking a whiff of the not so stuffy air of the train. He looked around, seeing Wilbur barrelling towards him. The two collided as Wilbur wrapped him in a hug. “Tomathy InsideOfIt! Oh how we missed you!” Wilbur cheered, refusing to let go of Tommy, until Phil had approached and physically pulled the two apart. “Give him some space, he just came out of a train for f***s sake.” Phil lectured as Wilbur rolled his eyes. Phil placed a hand on Tommy’s back, leading him on as the three walked to their car. “Too bad George moved to the U.S., g**d*** Dream.” Wilbur joked. “Yeah, he was definitely a bigger man than you are, that’s for certain.” Tommy laughed, as Wilbur faked betrayal with a scoff. “You two stop or I’m leaving you here!” Phil added playfully, unlocking their car as they approached. Phil hopped into the driver's seat, Wilbur into the passenger’s, and left Tommy to the three seats in the back. He saw that as a win, not wanting to show his friends his weakness. He hadn’t shifted for quite a while actually, but forced his shifting down yesterday morning after he accidentally dropped a plate. Tommy sucked in a deep breath as Phil started moving the car. The pain was almost unbearable now, so he could really only hope that they got to Wil’s house before the shifting forced its way onto him.
His wish wasn’t granted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wilbur had been watching Tommy in the rear-view mirror since Phil had started moving. They had been in the vehicle for five minutes, and Tommy’s body language read ‘pain’. Wilbur hoped that Tommy wasn’t in too much pain, they could get him some medication at his house. Wilbur looked away for a second, watching the car in front of them slow down a little before speeding up again. His eyes wandered back to the mirror, and realizing “HOLY S***!” He shouted, jumping up in his seat, gripping the edges of the poor fabric, and turning frantically to look out the window. Phil’s hands shot to the horn, and he stomped on the break in a panicked frenzy. “Wilbur Soot, WHAT THE F***!” Phil shouted, rightfully angry. “Tommy- he- he was just in the seat- WHERE THE H*** DID HE GO?!” Wilbur kept looking outside, until he felt like Tommy wasn’t out there. “WHAT THE H*** DO YOU MEAN?!” Phil returned, turning to a frantic Wilbur, who only just now turned to the backseat. Wilbur suddenly couldn’t breathe. Maybe he shouldn’t have yelled, because in the back corner of the seat, almost tucked into the cushions was a now miniature Tommy, who was shivering, most likely from the scare of the sudden growth of everything, or the yelling. A horn honked at them from behind, forcing Wilbur to address the situation. He turned back into his seat, reaching down for the seatbelt and unbuckling it. “Phil, get moving again, I’ve got it.” He stood up, crawling to the back of the car, and reached down slowly. “Toms, are you okay?” Wilbur frowned as Tommy pushed himself further into the cushions. Wilbur pulled himself into the farthest seat, facing Tommy. He felt terrible, it was his fault that Tommy was scared of them. "Are you hurt?" Wilbur asked softly. He smiled softly as he watched Tommy hesitantly shake his head. “Is this why you keep acting like you're hurt?” Tommy nodded, lowering his head. “Hey, that’s okay. Does this just happen sometimes, or…” Wilbur dragged the last letter, hoping for some explanation to provide himself with. “‘s normal.” Wilbur wanted to squeal, Tommy was so tiny! If Wilbur wanted to, he could just scoop up Tommy and never let him go. But Tommy didn’t need that right now. “That’s good. Do you mind if I hold you the rest of the way? I don’t think the seat belt will help you much.” So yeah, maybe he really wanted to hold Tommy. Sue him. “I-i guess. Just please, be careful.” Wilbur let his hands snake around Tommy, wrapping the little in a gentle touch. He lifted the boy with a single hand, using his other to buckle up in the back, figuring that the front would be worse. “You’re adorable, Toms.” Wilbur smiled. “Shut up p**** I’m a big man.” Wilbur laughed. “You sure are.”
Cold Love
masterpost
Wilbur is a dragon, his most wellkept secret. Tommy finds out so he brings him back to his hoard in the mountains.
CW: - vore
title taken from Cold Love by Rainbow Kitten Surprise
word count: 1.7k 🐉 read it on AO3
"Let me go," Tommy spits out. Despite his aggression, there's a fearful, panicky air about him that sends pangs into Wilbur's chest.
"Toms, come on. You know me - you know I'd never hurt you." He wrestles him into the ground, easily pinning him to the dirt without having to exert real effort.
Tommy's arms shake from the effort of trying to fight him off. Wilbur is almost relaxed above him, a slight frown on his face as he easily presses the boy down. The more he tries to fight and the more he sees how futile it is, the more his hostility slips into abject terror.
"Wilbur, please." His voice cracks and he starts to go limp. He blinks back tears. "I won't tell a soul. Your secret is safe, just let me go. I'll disappear, and you'll never hear from me again."
No. No, he doesn't want that at all -
And something must show on his face too, because Tommy's eyes widen at his reaction, and he starts to writhe again, sobs building in his chest.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, I don't - I didn't - "
"Hush."
He falls dead silent, tears still streaming down the sides of his face.
"You're fine," Wilbur murmurs to him, trying to imbue his words with as much love as he can. "Everything's going to be fine, okay?"
He starts to stand, pulling Tommy up with him as he goes.
He's tense in his arms, but Wilbur remains gentle.
As soon as they're both standing up, Tommy lurches away from him, but he's not fast enough.
Wilbur pulls him close, his arms still loose around Tommy. "Were you trying to catch me off guard?"
Tommy is sobbing and yelling and hitting at his chest, but he doesn't react.
"I... what are you doing? You - you know I'm much stronger than humans, sweetheart, you've got to stop fighting me."
He breaks down in his arms and tries to fall to the ground, but Wilbur catches him and holds, staring at him in puzzlement.
"How do I make this better?" He asks, almost blankly.
Tommy is still crying. "You - you ate the mayor," he whimpers. "You burned half the village to the ground. You burned the orphanage to the ground. You killed Phil and Tech - "
Wilbur swallows a lump in his throat and shoves down rising feelings of guilt. "I did what I had to do. I ate the mayor, I destroyed your village, including the orphanage. But how else could I get you?" He brushes a strand of hair from Tommy's eyes. "All that paperwork... it's easier if they think you perished in the fire. And for the record - " he conspiratorially winks at Tommy, trying to get humor him, "Phil and Techno are just fine."
He doesn't wait for a response, closing his eyes and starting to shift. He pays extra mind to Tommy's position in his arms. The change is done in seconds, and when he opens his eyes again, Tommy's just a tiny little thing lying between his clawed paws.
"Treasure," he purrs irreverently. "My little human - let's get you taken care of, yeah?"
Tommy stares up at him with wide eyes, completely frozen on the ground.
Wilbur wastes no time in leaning down and swallowing Tommy. He screams and kicks as he goes down the throat, but Wilbur's body was designed to eat live prey. Functionally speaking at least, Tommy is no different from the deer or tigers or knights he regularly eats.
He hums contentedly as Tommy settles into his brood pouch. It's padded out so he can be rough as he wants in there and it won't hurt either of them (and let it be said that he is trying very hard to hurt Wilbur).
"You're safe now, Tommy. Let's get you back to the rest of my hoard." He purrs again, a burst of delight in his chest. "I've waited so long to get you with the rest of my collection. Bit of a shame that you found out this way, but I'm a little glad too. I was going to reveal myself in a few months, but now I don't have to wait."
He spreads his wings and takes flight towards the treacherous mountains. Only the royals' finest knights could traverse the landscape, and even then, they were so tired and cold from the trip that their hands could barely grip the hilts of their swords.
He lands in the entrance and strides in. Techno and Phil sit idly on a pile of gold coins, chatting away, but as soon as their eyes land on him, they avert their gazes and seem to wilt. He's learned not to take it to heart - they've gotten better about managing their fear of him in the past few months since he added them to his hoard, and he's sure that as the years progress, all three of his humans will come around again.
He leans over Techno and Phil and opens his mouth up, finding it just the teeniest bit funny when they flinch back and start to plead with him not eat them. He brings out Tommy, letting the boy gently fall onto the two men below.
He sits back and admires them, a happy sound growing in the back of his throat.
"Finally," he says dreamily, "I have all three of you."
He shifts back into his human form and saunters up to them, ignoring how Tommy flinches backwards into Techno and Phil.
Phil pulls Tommy into his arms and starts to soothingly rub circles into his shoulder. "Wilbur, you're scaring him."
He shrugs nonchalantly. "You were scared too, in the beginning. He'll get over it soon - you all will - and then you'll be a proper part of my hoard."
Phil and Technoblade share a glance that he doesn't bother to decipher.
"Your hoard... what does that mean?" Techno asks slowly.
Wilbur grins brightly at him. "My collection! My treasure - it means you're mine now."
Tommy stares at him slack-jawed.
"Why us?" It seems like it slips out of Phil's mouth, something he says before he has a chance to apply a filter. But Wilbur doesn't mind answering.
"Techno is my twin, Tommy is my little brother, and you're my father." Those are all the human words for the familial terms, so they should understand.
Phil bites his lip. "Wil... we love you, but you can't - "
"I can do whatever I want," he cuts in, his voice edged with aggression.
Phil falls silent.
Wilbur smiles at him again. "Do you have anymore questions?"
Techno awkwardly coughs. "I hate to be the bearer of the obvious, but humans don't live as long as dragons. We're a lot less hearty, and you've stationed us on Dead Man's Hill. Because that's the name of this mountain, Wilbur - Dead Man's Hill. Are you sure you don't want to take us somewhere else?"
He feels his expression darken. "That won't be an issue. You're my hoard now. Which means your life force is tied to mine, and all three of your aging processes have stopped. If I'm to die - if - then you'll begin to age again." He turns a steely eye to Techno's. "And we will leave this mountain. But only when I know you won't try to do something silly, like leave me."
Techno nods, avoiding his eyes. "Sounds good."
"It does, doesn't it?" He agrees happily. "Now that I've taken Tommy, my collection is complete."
"Sorry - sorry, what the fuck?" Tommy chimes in, finally having found his voice.
Techno lowers his voice and says into his ear, "Wilbur is a dragon and he's keeping us now."
Tommy stares at him. "I thought you were fucking dead."
"Mm, me too," he says dryly. "But I'm not. I'm just the adopted twin brother of a dragon."
"Did you know?!" Tommy asks, sitting up and stumbling away from them.
Wilbur watches him curiously, fondly noting as he tips backward into a stack of gold coins.
"Did they know what?"
"What do you - what do you fucking think, Wilbur?!" He screeches.
Wilbur smiles, and lets himself shift again. Tommy flinches away as he approaches but he doesn't mind, picking him up in his mouth and plopping him back down next to Phil and Techno.
"They didn't know," he says soothingly, gazing down at them. He curls his tail loosely around their little group, forming a protective barrier. Or a cage.
Techno slides an arm around Tommy's shoulders. "Trust me," he murmurs, "if we had known, we never would have let you - " he cuts himself off, seeming to stiffen as his eyes nervously dart up to Wilbur. "We didn't know," he concedes.
Wilbur laughs lightly. "Can you imagine if you had? You never would have been my friend! And Phil never would have taken both of us in. I had to lie."
There's a look on Phil's face that he can't decipher. "Wilbur... I would have. Of course I would have," he says gently. His words carry weight, but the meaning behind it is unidentifiable to Wilbur.
"No," he says simply. "So it's a good thing I lied. Because the years passed and you realized how much you loved me, and now that you know I'm a dragon, you won't leave."
A sharp wave of paranoid insecurity strikes through his chest. "I don't think you'll leave," he mutters in afterthought, his tail slightly tensing around them.
Technoblade looks conflicted. "We love you for you, your being a dragon doesn't change that."
Wilbur frowns down at him, puffing a plume of smoke out. "Why are you saying that?"
"What - what do you mean?"
"We aren't leaving this mountain, Techno. I'm not that stupid."
A look of surprise crosses his face. He's a good actor, Wilbur decides. "I wasn't saying that to trick you, we do love - "
"I know you do!" Wilbur sharply cuts in. "Because I spent years bonding with you as a human. And now that you know I'm a dragon, it doesn't matter!" He gives them a smile with his large, sharp teeth. He ignores how forced it feels. He ignores how it feels like he's trying to convince himself more than them.
Phil looks at him with a pained expression. "Mate - "
"You're a little scared right now, but that's fine," he purrs, cutting him off. "We have the rest of time for you to love me like you used to. You weren't supposed to find out, but you have, and that's fine. I'll just keep you here. I'll just keep you here, and we can be a proper family."
He nuzzles the three of them with his snout, ignoring how they flinch away from him. "I love you!" he exclaims. "And you love me. So everything is fine. It's fine."
Atlantic Runaways [Part 8]
Notes: Hey! It’s been quite a while, hasn’t it? Maybe you’ve forgotten about me, never know but I’ve reappeared from the void for a short while to deliver this!
I’m too sure if I’m going to be returning any time soon, I’m still thinking about a lot of things and I have a lot of things going on personally
Originally the finale was supposed to include all of what was written in this fic and including what else I have planned but I think it’ll be better to drag it out a bit first.
Edit: realised this was part 8- oops-
Warnings: Mentions of soft vore, past traumas of drowning, actual drowning, sobbing, nightmares, neglect, mistreatment, potential mentions of death and one very unreliable narrator. If I’ve missed any please let me know!
Words: 5.4K+
[...]
“Tommy…”, Wilbur looked down upon him with a solemn expression, his features dull despite the difference in height. He looked ominous, dangerous like how they had first met all those months ago.
After the incident of him nearly dying, Tommy had these recurring nightmares that always plagued his mind. It was quite frightening the first couple of times it had happened, though he grew accustomed to them, always preparing for his demise at the end of the road.
Tommy looked indifferent, neither bothered by Wilbur’s words to attempt to burade him. Though it was different this time around, Wilbur did not seek to intimidate him or scare him. He only stared at him.
“I think you understand what is yet to come.”, the copy looked off to the side as if he seemed saddened, yet no emotions displayed on his face. Tommy let out a breath that had been caught in his throat.
“What do you mean?”, Tommy stood anxiously on his toes, fearful of what could come of this dream, he didn’t want any surprises at the moment. Yet for some reason, guilt rose to his subconscious.
“I believe you know what I am referring to, lower your guard. I will not harm you despite what you believe.”, though he didn’t stand down. But what could he be talking about? He wasn’t entirely sure.
“No, I don’t. Want to explain, bitch?”, he teased. Yet the vision remained in place, no movement or expression shown. Typically, Wilbur would respond with his own remark or call him a child. Nothing.
“You understand that you must confront your emotions, do you not? If not now then your emotions might get the better of you by the time you manage to set foot in the place your dream takes place within.”.
So that was what the vision entailed, so it wasn’t a nightmare. It was another one of the weirder ones.
Tommy looked away from the vision to his bare hands, his vision blurred as his eyes unfocused and his mind corroded his thoughts. As if the sun had just dawned upon him. It was today, and soon everything could change for the better or worse.
The vision moved, its claw-like finger placed under Tommy’s chin, bringing him out of his thoughts. It showed more expression, showing a mask of the Wilbur he knew, copying him with a mask of concern.
He leaned slightly into the claw as it moved to his cheek, he appreciated the comfort despite everything. He wanted to be calm, yet despite being asleep he could feel the adrenaline pumping through his very veins. Already anxious about what was to come.
“I-”, he took a moment to pause. “I know, but- What if big dubs just leaves me? I don’t want to believe he would but-”, he sobbed. “I’m just scared, I guess- What am I supposed to do? I promised to get him out, escape and-”,
He took a moment to pause.
“For some reason, I just want things to stay the way they are. I’m happy, I can see Wilbur whenever and spend time with him, I got a job to support my dad, and I got my best friend. Everything I need-”,
“But that is simply selfish.”, the vision interrupted. Tommy only looked away with a guilty expression, he knew that he was being selfish. He’d never act upon those emotions. After all, Wilbur had been in captivity for so long, day by day he got weaker.
Tommy could tell the mer wasn’t happy just staying there, always putting on a show just to make him smile. He shouldn’t doubt Wilbur, having gone so far as to save his life and continue to care for him.
“I just want him to stay…”, he turned back and hugged the finger. Though it only felt hollow of what wasn’t there, he just wanted touch or comfort yet whatever the vision did had no effect to comfort him. He was alone.
“You allow these intrusive thoughts to plague your mind and judgment, and you contort to them as though they are correct.”, Tommy only nodded. He was letting his worries get the better of him.
“Tommy, understand this. You will be just fine, you know it. And if you’re still worried. Simply speak to Wilbur, he will understand”.
And the dream faded away.
[...]
“Boo! Stop hitting me with the fucking shell!”, Tommy let out a groan at the two of them arguing, placing a pillow on top of his head in frustration. Rather than waking up to his best friend cuddled to his side, he woke up to nothing but yelling as the two argued over a game.
The game was Mario kart of all things.
It wasn’t long until their race had concluded, Tubbo celebrated his win with a loud victory screech as Ranboo let out a sigh, third place. He was surprised that Ranboo was good at the game considering he had only been a mer for what he believed was a couple of months.
After celebrating his victory, Tubbo had come to annoy Tommy with his clingy side. Throwing himself onto Tommy’s side as he let out an ‘oomph’ sound before glaring down at his best friend, not entirely thrilled to see him active so early.
“G’morning Big man! You excited for today?”, Tubbo smiled. Tommy nodded with a small smile, indeed excited for the day. As much as he’d appreciate more sleep after recent events, it was better now than never.
He didn’t want Wilbur to suffer any longer than he had to. Picking up his confidence, he sat up and gripped the pillow that had fallen off of his face before plunging it into Tubbo’s face as revenge.
Tubbo was quick to try and repel the attack, only to fail and grasping for aid from Ranboo. Yet Ranboo did not aid him in his time of need, looking with a sick grin as he watched his best friend get attacked, it was revenge for not only Tommy but himself.
His laughed pleas were no use and eventually tuckered out in surrender, taking a moment to get back his breath. Tommy smirked in victory that he shared with Ranboo. Then standing up for the first time, excitement flooded through his head as he turned to his closet to gather some clothing.
His room was still a mess after his expansive research of crumbled notes that filled the room, along with discarded coffee cups and mess across his desk. Though the other two didn’t appear to mind the mess.
It was bright and early, roughly 5 am to be exact. Tommy didn’t quite appreciate being awake at such an early time but it was necessary for the plan. After all, Ranboo couldn’t exactly shift into a giant mer inside of his house.
He picked up his usual shirt, a pair of denim shorts that had a pair of pockets and a pair of bright red sandals. He went to change into the bathroom as the other two went downstairs to join his dad and friends for breakfast.
After changing, he could taste the air that smelt of waffles. He smiled, rushing downstairs to grab a bite as he was quite frankly starving. He was greeted by his dad’s beaming bright smile, who held a plate of waffles topped with whipped cream and strawberries.
Tommy was quick to join at the breakfast table, taking his dish before almost scoffing it down like a wolf. His father let out a hearty laugh as he sipped his cup of coffee, he had told his father of the half-baked plan in the middle of the night and was happy to help.
Yet, his father looked a little tired from the lack of sleep, the coffee to help prepare him for the drive to the beach and work. He felt sorry for his dad, but thankful nonetheless. His father was indeed the best after all.
[...]
Their car was a decent couple of years old, having been around as far as Tommy could remember. It was a comfy car, a dark green one. Tommy listened to the purr of the engine as he leaned against the window.
His father’s gaze focused on the road ahead, in the back Tubbo talked away with Ranboo about the bright weather and potential waves. It was surprisingly sunny out despite it being the early hours of the morning.
They were headed towards a more isolated beach that wasn’t too far from Tommy’s home and the waterpark. And plus, it was a beach that had a lovely view and Tommy spent a lot of time there as a child.
It was rather calming, Tommy could almost sleep if it weren’t for the excitement of what was to come, he was really looking forward to it all. He imagined how Wilbur would react to seeing the outside world, wait-
What would Wilbur even look like as a human? How would he even react to a pair of legs? Would he be able to swim or walk? He’d have to ask Ranboo about it when he retrieved the necklace as Ranboo really only knew the effect of it.
Phil began to slowly ease into the breaks, parking the car to the side as he pulled up the handbrake, he didn’t want to lose the car to slipping down the car after all. The purr of the engine came to a sudden halt.
Tubbo was the first to exit the car, slamming the car door and rushing to the trunk to grab Tommy’s surfboard that was being borrowed. Tommy was the second to exit, taking in a deep breath as he closed his air, taking in the taste of the salty sea.
Though, his moment was interrupted as he could hear something banging from the car door. Turning back to see Ranboo struggling to open the door, pushing his body against it in an attempt to get it open.
Tommy tried to hold back a laugh but a snort escaped him, shaking his head in an almost humiliated way but meant no harm by it. He opened the door for his new friend, only to send him flying to the floor as he fell out the door.
It caused Tommy to burst out laughing, holding his stomach as he laughed his head off. Ranboo was quick to scramble back onto his legs, his cheeks flushed in embarrassment without the protection of his mask.
Tubbo was quick to inspect on the moment, letting out a few giggles in the process. He then gripped Ranboo’s wrist and dragged him towards the shore, Tommy looked back to check on his dad who was smiling and waving at him.
He smiled back and turned back towards the beach, it’d been a while since he’d been here. It hadn’t changed at all during the years, almost as if it were never changing. He reminisced of the memories he held on the very sand he stood on, many memories were made here.
Despite wearing sandals, he could still feel the sand between his toes. The Sun shone brightly as it always had, his bright blonde hair reflecting in the sunlight, making it seem as though it were glowing.
His thoughts went back to Wilbur as he took a step forward, with each step would be a literal step forward in the plan, every step would lead closer to Wilbur’s escape. His slow steady steps on the boiling sand soon turned into a sudden sprint.
Tubbo was always swimming into the ocean with the board, his friend always was the type to be pulled into the sea, sometimes he questioned if Tubbo had more of a connection to the ocean than he did with his mer heritage and all.
Ranboo awaited by the shoreline, the waves flowing under his feet. He swore he could see more mer-like features on Ranboo as he drew closer. His legs were adorned with scales as though they could turn to a tale. He was preparing to shift back.
Ranboo went to reach the back of his neck, but he halted as he saw Tommy continue to run towards him. He was tackled into a hug, Tommy embraced the mer tightly. He was really thankful to Ranboo for all he was doing.
Despite barely knowing Tommy, he was willing to help him and Wilbur with the escape. And he owed a lot to Tubbo too, if it weren’t for him then he and Ranboo would’ve never met. Ranboo wasn’t quite the wrongun’ he assumed him to be.
He would have to repay them for their kindness soon, what would Ranboo and Tubbo even want though? He’d work it out eventually. Tommy then pulled away from the hug with a huge smile on his face.
Ranboo returned the smile, then again reached to unclip the necklace, falling into his palm. He looked back to Tommy as his face went into panic, Tommy was quick to reach out as he went to reassure him but Ranboo quickly retreated into the ocean.
It took Tommy a second to realise that Ranboo did not want to crush Tommy as he turned into a giant, rather stupid of him to attempt to go after him. Soon, Ranboo stood before him or well, gazed down upon him.
He now had the opportunity to see Ranboo closer than he did the other day, he was an orca mer that wasn’t as big as Wilbur but still fairly gigantic. Ranboo’s hair colour had changed to match his tale, though his eyes remained the same.
His cheeks looked as though they were covered by freckles, one side with darker freckles and the other looked white. Ranboo’s gaze looked unfocused as one of his claws laid on his forehead, though he shook his head and turned back to Tommy.
Shifting must’ve had its side effects, he couldn’t imagine changing from a smaller size to a gigantic one, mustn't have been easy. Ranboo looked a bit uneasy, his movements cautious as his claw reached out towards Tommy.
Tommy reached out his hand as the necklace was dropped into his palm. The necklace had a black and white spotted shell, surrounded by pearls. It was quite beautiful. He grasped it gently yet tightly in his hand, this was the very thing that would grant Wilbur his escape.
He placed the necklace in his shorts pocket, smiling at Ranboo as he turned to leave. He was ready, ready to get Wilbur out, the day was finally upon the two of them. Wilbur would finally get his-
“Tommy!- Wait!”, a giant claw gently grasped his waist, halting him in his run back to the car. He turned back to Ranboo who held a worried look on his face as the claw gently let go, letting out a shaky breath Tommy walked back to the same position as he was.
“Sorry about that, but I still got to explain a couple of things. Right?”, Tommy had been so excited that he didn’t even know how the artefact worked in the first place. It was rather stupid of him to wander off like that.
“Okay first things of all, how to use the amulet; The mer in question must be underwater, the shift will happen there. The mer must put on the amulet like they normally would. Also, word of advice, shifting for the first time can be kinda- funky. So be prepared in case Wilbur needs help.”.
“Your friend won’t be adjusted to the change right away, he won’t know how to walk properly with a new set of legs. Also, in case you’re worried. Mer forms come with their own sets of clothing. Anything else you want to ask?”.
Tommy paused to see if he had any questions, but couldn’t seem to think of any as Ranboo had explained clearly enough. It appeared that everything was prepared, he could only hope the plan would go just as smoothly.
“Nah, I’m good. Thank you, Boo. Really, I fucking owe you one. A big one. See you soon Big man! I’ll make sure to bring back the necklace soon!”. Tommy then turned back to the car, rushing to make his way to the car.
[...]
Tommy had prepared everything he could think he’d need for the escape plan, he brought a spare towel to help Wilbur dry off, the amulet, and his phone in case of emergencies, and was really all he needed.
A sigh escaped from his lips, with each minute that passed, he couldn’t help but feel more anxious. Closing his eyes as he leaned back into the car seat, he had no idea as to why he was panicking so much, it was simple enough.
Thinking back to his dream though, would his emotions really get the better of him? He knew that he’d been acting strange but he didn’t believe that it would have such an impact. He concluded it was better to bury the coffin until it was dug up again.
Phil had stopped the car, looking at his son with worried yet tired eyes. His father was also quite nervous as most likely, his son could get caught and endangered. Not only that but he was involved with the entire thing, the literal escape cab.
“Are you alright, mate?”, his father gently placed his hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it in reassurance. Tommy bit down on his tongue anxiously, not enough pressure to hurt but enough to make himself aware of how anxious he must’ve looked.
“I’m fine Dad, Just a bit nervous y’know?”, his father gave him a soft smile as he pulled Tommy into a hug. It was a bit awkward due to the car seats but Tommy appreciated it nonetheless. After separating, Tommy grabbed onto the car handle and opened the door.
Grabbing his stuff from the trunk. Step by step, he walked into his workplace.
Tommy got ready as he usually would, but in the pocket of his wet suit was the necklace.
He was ready. Though, as much as he’d love to tell Wilbur of the plan as soon as possible. It’d definitely be better as a surprise, he thought.
His sports bag in hand, scanning his keycard to allow him entry to Wilbur’s enclosure. He hesitated for a moment, standing in the doorway as he took a deep breath. Giving himself a moment to get his acting game ready.
“Wilbur! I’m here!”, Tommy called as loud as he could to the mer. Tommy planned to be a little more annoying to the mer than usual. Maybe then Wilbur would catch onto his plans, he’d reveal them either way.
Tommy stood still beside the tiny pool, at least tiny for Wilbur. He waited for about a minute or two yet he got no response from him. He bit his lip as he sat down, looking down into the water for any indication of movement, he didn’t want Wilbur to scare him again.
He waited another couple of minutes, but still nothing. So, he called out again. “Wilbur! Are you there?”, he grew increasingly worried. Was Wilbur okay?
Normally, he would’ve been here by now.
He waited again, but still nothing. His breathing began to grow heavy as his heart rate increased. Worried for the mer. Instead of calling with his voice, he splashed the water as he did in his training, hoping to get a response.
He waited again.
Tommy looked down at the water, gulping down nervously. Then, the still water began to sway, and soon Wilbur emerged from the water. There were no splashes of surprise, just the water that dripped from Wilbur resurfacing.
He let down a breath of relief as he stared up at Wilbur. The mer had a soft smile, though his eyes looked groggy as though he had just woken up. “Good morning, Toms- You’re here early, aren’t you?”.
Tommy was quick to reach into his bag and search for his phone, pulling it out to see that it was 8:12 am. His shift had started about 10 minutes ago. “Yeah, it’s one of the early shifts.”, he smirked. Wilbur only nodded his head, letting out a yawn as he barred his sharp teeth.
Tommy rolled his eyes and got up, he made his way to the freezer that held Wilbur’s food supply. Grabbing as much as he could carry and brought it to the mer. “Here’s breakfast, you prick.”, Tommy placed the fish beside him as he sat on the edge of the pool, his feet submerged in the water.
Wilbur leaned himself beside Tommy, looking tired as he laid his head on his scaly arms. He still faced Tommy with the same smile, eyes soft and tired yet they looked happy to see Tommy. He felt comforted, unlike how he did in his dream.
With Wilbur nearby, he leaned onto Wilbur’s arm. Nuzzling it softly as he took in a tired breath. Despite being so excited, he was still tired from waking up very early. He appreciated the warmth that radiated, some comfort after everything.
The two sat still for a moment before Tommy stood up, grabbing the fish and feeding Wilbur like he normally would during his routine, though he made sure to grab more fish than he normally would. He didn’t know what would happen if Wilbur turned human.
During that time, Wilbur had woken up fully and began to speak to Tommy like they normally would, falling into their usual banter. “I really don’t believe you’re 6’3. You’re tiny, one of the smallest humans I’ve ever seen!”.
“Dickhead! Of course, I’m 6’3! You don’t even know how tall that is for humans! You barely see any other humans besides me!”, Tommy stomped his foot in the water, causing a splash like a child would’ve done.
“I’ll have you know I’m-”, he paused. “I think I remember the humans saying I was over 40 feet? Maybe even larger, not too sure though.”, he let out a laugh. Tommy didn’t underestimate that, Wilbur was gigantic after all. He let out a playful scoff.
After the scruffle, Wilbur looked as though he wanted to say something yet seemed to hesitate. His eyes weren’t staring at Tommy directly, too caught up in his own mind. So, Tommy took it upon himself to speak first.
“Wilbur, you okay? You look like you got something to say. Big man.”, Wilbur’s gaze turned back to Tommy as Wilbur licked his lips. For a moment Tommy thought that Wilbur was thinking about storing him, although he wouldn’t mind the idea. But there the plan was still in effect.
“Yeah, yeah- I’m fine. Just, are you okay? You’re acting a little… off? I don’t know just something is telling me somethings wrong and-”, he cut himself off with a shake of his head. His gaze turned to one of concern, “You know, you can talk to me. Right?”.
Tommy’s eyes were soft as his hand went to the pocket of his wet suit. He stood up, amulet in his grip as he met Wilbur’s gaze. The mer looked worried, concern gracing his features. He leaned in closer and looked ready to listen for whatever Tommy had to say.
His lips couldn’t help but go upwards into a cheeky smile, as he spoke the words he’d been preparing to say all morning. “Wilbur… How would you like to finally get out of this hell hole?”. Wilbur’s gaze turned to a shocked expression.
“Tommy, wait- Toms, you don’t mean?”, Wilbur looked dazzled with many different emotions; Shock, relief, happiness, all sorts of things. Tommy could only nod with a smile.
He’d finally be free.
[...]
Wilbur stared down at the tiny amulet in his palm, such a small piece of jewellery would allow him his escape, his freedom. He’d waited over a decade for this moment. And finally, his moment had come.
And he had nobody else to thank besides the small human boy who stood beside him. Words couldn’t express how thankful he was, he’d only known Tommy for such a short time, a couple of months at best.
At first, when he met Tommy. There was only distaste as Tommy was simply just another human. He thought that Tommy would be like every other human he had met, some of them weren’t bad per se in Wilbur’s time but some never showed sympathy or just treated him as an animal.
Tommy was the first to treat him like an equal. It took time and Wilbur saving the boy’s life in order to communicate with each other but it worked out in the end. And now, the two of them had grown close.
The young boy had also gone through quite a bit just to get Wilbur his freedom. And now everything was falling into place, access to his freedom was now literally within the palm of his hand. If he could cry, he’d be sobbing with tears of joy.
“Just like that- Wait- Wil? Were you even listening?”, Wilbur snapped out of his daze. His cheeks flushed in embarrassment, he should be paying attention. Though in all honesty, he wanted to chirp happily out loud and reach out for the tiny boy in front of him. He was just really happy.
Tommy didn’t seem to mind though, despite his attempt at an angry glare; The boy let out a cough as he continued. “As I was saying, you basically just put the necklace around your neck and you just shrink and be human, I guess.”, he explained though he sounded uncertain.
His fins flared ever so slightly at the uncertainty. Despite his excitement, he was still a bit fearful of everything. He was nearly grown up by the time he got captured so after a bit of work, he knew he’d handle himself in the ocean just fine.
He remembered how to hunt, he tried to practice it in his small enclosure on occasion. He wondered how different the waters would be in the ocean, what it will feel like to be free in the ocean waves again.
Just, what bothered him was he wouldn’t see his pod ever again. And despite freedom being was he wanted, there was a certain anxiousness that came with the escape. Which couldn’t really be blamed, it was only natural.
Not only that but he was nervous about becoming a human, well he wouldn’t necessarily become a human. But it would be close enough.
Taking a breath of air, he nodded his head to Tommy. He wondered what it’d feel like to be human. To be around the same size as Tommy, would he be taller? Or shorter? What would it feel like to have a pair of legs?
It’d certainly be different nonetheless.
Despite his nervousness, It flooded him with a new kind of excitement. What would it be like to walk around, run with his legs? He’d be able to see Tommy much closer than he used to, they’d be the same size rather than Wilbur being a gigantic predator.
He grasped the necklace in his palm, determined to get the whole transformation progress over with and escape. A part of him was also excited to see Tommy roughly the same size as him, being able to hug him as tight as he wished without worrying about crushing him.
He took a deep breath of the air, despite not needing to do. Submerged in the water, his dry hair was now soaked in the water. He swayed his tail to the side, only for it to collide with the wall. He was really looking forward to escaping from the cramped place.
The amulet in his grip began to glow a dim light, magic sparkling from it. He began to do as Tommy instructed, bringing the amulet towards his neck.
As he did so, bubbles began to surround him. He felt strange, dizzy and tired despite being filled with energy moments ago. The amulet that would’ve never fitted around his neck, was now secured around his neck.
He looked down, no longer his scaly brown tail with white spots. It was replaced by a pair of human legs, he was now human instead of his gigantic mer self. He let out his breath that had been held the entire time.
Only to realise that he couldn’t inhale the surrounding water without his gills. He panicked, flailing his arms and new pair of legs in an attempt to swim, only for the pool to drag him down further.
The water that he once inhaled was now burning at his lungs, he couldn’t breathe despite his lungs begging for him to do so. He was drowning as his vision blurred. His mind wandered to Tommy, is this what the boy felt when he had saved him?
He was in agony.
It felt horrible, the water dragging him into its depths. It was once home, now it sought only to kill him. It was terrifying, and to imagine a gigantic predator in the water. That day he saved Tommy, after all that torment. The boy must’ve been terrified.
He was terrified.
As black spots began to fill his vision, something in the water changed. Despite being “human”, he could still feel the changes in the water. Using some energy to look upwards, he could see the blurry figure of something coming toward him.
He reached out towards it, the figure struggled but eventually, it grabbed his wrist and pulled him upwards. Soon, he emerged to the surface, clinging to the figure that had saved him from the water. He coughed out the water, his throat sore.
The grip on him was a bit weak, yet secure. Wilbur was safe, he let out a sigh of relief. When he opened his eyes, he was met with a soaked Tommy. His eyes widened as he realised that Tommy had been the one to save him as he had done long before.
A smile was brought to his face. Tommy swam with a bit of struggle towards the edge of the pool, Wilbur attempted to help but he was still flimsy with his legs.
Eventually, the two of them managed to pull each other onto the tiled floor of the area rather than the pool.
Wilbur let out a series of coughs as he adjusted, despite having inhaled air before. It felt different, more potent or something along those lines, unusual but not unnatural. His arms attempted to hold him upwards yet felt weak. He assumed it was because of the transformation.
Beside him was Tommy, panting heavily and leaning over the pool. Wilbur felt shaky and nervous, he turned himself so he wasn’t pressuring his arms and sat down as Tommy did and finally looked at his pair of legs.
His legs felt unnatural compared to everything else, he no longer had a tail instead it was like he had two tails (It was the closest comparison he could make). The new joints were unusual to move, and wiggling his toes was also a weird sensation.
He was mesmerised by his new limps, using his arms to lift his leg towards his face to observe it curiously. He attempted to bend his knee with success, letting out a yelp as he did so. It was hard to believe the pair of legs were his, that he was human.
He turned quickly at the sound of laughter, beside him Tommy was staring at him. His mouth was covered by his hand as he attempted to muffle it. Wilbur’s ears felt less sensitive than before, yet now with his new size, he was able to hear Tommy perfectly fine, maybe even louder.
Wilbur’s eyes widened at the realisation, that it was indeed a reality. That he was roughly Tommy’s size which meant… Wilbur pushed himself towards Tommy, clumsily embracing him into a hug.
Tommy let out a yelp as he collided with Wilbur, unable to support his weight as his back fell to the floor. Wilbur was on top of him, embracing him as tightly as possible. Despite laying on the cold wet floor of the facility, the hug wasn’t unbearably uncomfortable.
Tommy smiled, adjusting the hug so the two of them sat up. Tommy hugged back as tightly as he could, it felt strange to be able to hug Wilbur like any other human. But he was happy, happy that Wilbur could escape.
Wilbur readjusted the hug for Tommy to lean on his lap, his hands moving from his back to his soaked hair. Wilbur began to play with the wet blonde curls, it felt nice as Tommy leaned more of his weight onto Wilbur, relaxing.
Soon they’d leave, but for now. They just wanted each other’s company.
Just out of Reach, but Never out of sight
HIIIIIII! I DID IT! I HAVE WRITTEN AN AU :000
Okay okay okay! This is gonna be my first ever multi chapter story so fingers crossed I actually keep up with this but I really hope you guys love it as much as I do! Thank you to @a-xyz-s for proof reading <3
Chapter 1
chapter 2 , chapter 3,
cw: abandonment (its touched on but nothing major I think), general fear, panic and anxiety (ya know standard terrified borrower), fear of death, word count: 2611
Disclaimer! This story is based on the characters of the Dream SMP and not the real life content creators. Anything that occurs in this story is purely fiction and should be treated as such. Thank you.
Alone. That seemed to be a common thing for the Great Tommyinnit. He was abandoned as a child when the colony found him, rejected by his peers when he lived there and now outcasted. So as stated before: alone. He knew why no one wanted him around, but it didn’t mean it didn’t sting any less. From the moment he was brought to the colony, he was always told there was something wrong with him. For one, he's a lot smaller than all the other borrowers and is the opposite of quiet, stealthy, and ya know: good at borrowing. But he tries his best to please everyone anyways.
A borrower is quiet; never heard and never seen and well, Tommys’ always had quite the larger than life personality. He practices to be a good borrower, helping out where possible, doing all the right things. But still, no one wants him around and more often than not shun him. He never knew his parents so he didn’t know what that ‘thing’ that made him different could be, just that whatever it was meant no one wanted him around. He tried to be a good Borrower, he really did, but more often than not, found himself surrounded by disaster. “You’re too little.” “Not strong enough.”,  “Annoying little shit”, “Wrong”, “Useless Child”, “A mistake”; things the colony told him every day despite everyone avoiding him at all costs. He was an orphan anyways so why should he hope that would change anything?
It never really surprised him that when he turned what they thought was 13, (since no one knew how old he actually was) he was given a hook, a bag and told to get lost. So Tommy did as told and left. He wandered the underground tunnels from the colony for a long time before coming upon a human town. That was 3 years ago, and since then, he has been through 7 different homes. All different reasons. 2 were infested with rats, 1 had young children that were just too risky to live with, another 3 had cats that always knew how to find him (stupid felines and they’re stupid good noses) and the last one had another borrower family living in it, and just like the borrower’s at the colony, told him to get out. That one had been the worst. Not only had it been the first interaction Tommy had had with anyone in years, it was also just another blow to remind him that no one wanted him. Which led to now. He’d been traveling for weeks looking for his forever home. He was sick and tired of having to pack up and leave after just settling. He didn’t care how long it would take, Tommy would find the perfect house and stay. Nothing was going to stop the Great Tommyinnit! He’s a big man, not some scrawny pipsqueak like everyone says. He’ll show the colony. He’d make it and be the best borrower ever!
Finally, after scouting the 5th house that week, Tommy found it. This house was inhabited by 3 Beans. The Crafts: as Tommy discovered from his reconnaissance. There was Phil, a tall Bean with blonde hair similar to his own and his two sons Wilbur and Technoblade. From the bit of bickering he’d heard from the two Beans, apparently they were twins, but Tommy found that hard to believe when Wilbur had soft looking curly brown hair, and Techno’s (as his family called him) was bright pink! Now how Techno was born with pink hair he didn’t know, but surely anyone with hair that was pink had to be a Wrong-in. The family were quite the rowdy bunch and while normally 3 humans such as these would be a no go house, but Tommy was drawn to them. It wasn’t the familial love he could feel radiating off the 3 or anything that drew him in. Nope! It was strictly that the walls were pest free, cat free and that all 3 Beans ticked all the boxes for simple borrowing. Definitely no other reasons. It had taken some time, but soon Tommy was set up within the Crafts walls. He’d chosen to settle near Wilbur’s room. Out of the 3 Beans, he was the messiest and easiest to borrow from without items being noticed as missing. He’d managed to borrow a really nice shiny red plastic thingy called a guitar pic for a crawl through door because of that, but also because Wilbur did something that very few Borrowers got to experience. He played music. Playing music was such a rarity in Borrower society. Too loud and too much risk of being caught, but here Tommy could listen as much as he liked. He didn’t know any of the songs Wilbur played, but he loved them all. Especially the ones when Wilbur used what was called a guitar. The man’s voice was just so soothing and often Tommy found himself falling asleep to the melodies. When he wasn’t listening to Wilbur, sometimes Tommy would be in Technos’ room. It was risky as Techno was the most observant of the 3 Beans Tommy had come to find out when he had been setting up his room. He had wanted the knife bit of this thing called ‘utility knife’ and almost had it if not for the man coming back and immediately coming over to inspect it as if he knew it had been touched. That had been a terrifying experience, but Tommy liked the man’s quiet demeanor. There was a spot on the bookshelf that Tommy could perch on and was able to read along with the books that Techno read whilst remaining hidden. It was hard at times with the font so small and looking down from up on the shelf, but when the books had pictures, Tommy would just stare for hours at a time or until Techno finished the book. And of course then there was Phil. Phil never did anything too over the top. Most of the time, he was just doing paperwork, but the man was kind and often Tommy would just hang out in his office while he worked on fixing equipment, enjoying the comfortable one sided silence.
Yep the Crafts were perfect and Tommy loved that he had found a good house. But it still wasn’t quite right. He tried not to, but he envied what the Crafts had. They were a family. They ate together, watched movies together, went out together. They had each other for comfort and Tommy? Tommy had them from a distance. He could only watch. No matter how much he wanted to be a part of their family, it was impossible. Not only that, it was also terrifying. They were HUGE! Tommy had seen Beans before, most around Phil’s height, but Wilbur and Techno? Tommy was sure they were giants among Beans! No matter how badly he wanted to be a part of what they had, the overshadowing fear of what they could do to him if found outweighed his wants. It would be all too easy to squish his insignificant life out of existence. They could grab him, squeeze him, hurt him, experiment on him, make him a pet; the list goes on and on. And that’s just not a risk he’s willing to take. Even if he remained alone forever, at least he was alive…
~~~
It was supposed to be a routine borrowing trip. Tommy often borrowed during the night time hours of the early mornings to avoid the 3 Beans. They never seemed to go to sleep at a good time and someone was almost always at home during the day, but he managed. Tommy had just finished up a supply run to the kitchen when he spotted it. It shouldn’t have interested him as much as it did but on the counter was a brown and white looking stuffed animal keychain. A cow he vaguely thinks back to when he had been in a child’s nursery whilst scouting for a good house. The cow keychain was about an inch in size. The perfect size to cuddle with for a borrower such as himself. And it was right there. All he had to do was run straight across the counter, un-attach it from the keys and take it home. It wouldn’t take long… So leaving his previous borrowings of the trip from before and two hooks behind the safety of an electrical socket, Tommy crept out and over to the cow keychain. It was sticking out slightly from a bag lying on the counter filled with paperwork and many pockets, but Tommy paid it little mind as he set to work getting the cow. He had just about worked the plush off the chain when he heard it. The sound of a door creaking open as thundering footsteps began to make their way down the hall. No no no no. Not now! He almost had it off the chain! In a last chance effort, Tommy tugged at the cow to come loose. Thump, Thump, thump, the sound of footsteps getting closer. F***, F***, F***! Giving up on his prize, Tommy dove into an open pocket of the bag and shuffled his way inside. The sound of a light switch could be heard flicking on, as light flooded the opening of the bag. Tommy stayed deathly still. He couldn’t be caught, he just couldn’t! He heard a few more things turned on and moved about as the Bean began to get ready for the day. Phil, Tommys mind supplied with how the man sometimes had an early shift start. He didn’t know how long he stayed frozen for before the world suddenly lurched upwards, and he was flung to the bottom of the bag. He gripped on tightly to the pockets fabric as Phil began to walk, his eyes scrunched firmly shut. They walked for ages to what Tommy assumed was Phil’s work before the bag was eventually set down again, whilst Phil began his work shift. He didn’t know how long he was in the bag for, but it was a nightmare. If he didnt find a better place to hide soon, Phil would find him. But Tommy couldn’t will himself to leave the bag either. He was in the Beans world now and if he left, he may not make it back to the house! No, the best option was to try and blend in with the fabric and pray that Phil would finish work soon so he could get back in the walls. But there was a slight issue with that. At the bottom of the bag was a hole. Not a hole big enough to lose anything large like a phone, but big enough that if not careful, Tommy could slip through. Every time the bag was moved, Tommy gripped on for dear life. If he let go, he’d fall through. It was a miracle he hadn’t fallen out on the trip there in the first place.
Finally, after what felt like lifetimes, Tommy heard Phil packing up for the day to head home. It was a miracle that he never seemed to need anything in the pocket Tommy was in. Maybe the Bean knew about the hole? The bag was suddenly opened once more and Tommy gripped the fabric tightly as his world was thrown about once again, and then just as quickly the bag was closed as Phil began to make the journey home. Just like the trip there, the walk back was an antagonizing long one. Tommy was sure his arms were just about to fall off from how tightly he had been clinging to the fabric, but he couldn’t let go. Surely it couldn’t be much further and he’d be able to escape back to the walls? But luck was not on Tommy’s side. His arms were burning from how long he’d had to use them for and he was exhausted. He wanted to curl up and fall asleep, adrenaline from his initial panic leaving him tired. His eyes felt heavy and slowly he found himself releasing his grip on the fabric, as his eyes fluttered open and close battling to stay awake. Suddenly, Tommy felt himself slipping down towards the hole. As his legs began slipping through the hole of the bag, he shocked himself awake as he tried to grasp back onto the fabric. At the last second, he clasped onto the few loose threads of fabric that he could reach, effectively managing to stop himself from plummeting to the ground below. Tommy’s eyes shot around wildly at his surroundings. He was in the open. Dangling out of the bag. Holding on for dear life. Desperate to get back inside, he tried to start climbing back inside. But without his hooks for climbing like normal, it was extremely difficult. Especially with the world constantly moving. He gripped the fabric’s edge like a lifeline, desperate to stay on, but his weight on the already frayed edges was not strong enough to support his weight and began to unravel further. It wasn’t long before the edges had frayed enough that Tommy was now dangling by a few single threads. Please! Just hold on a little longer! We’ve got to almost be there! Just a little more! Don’t break! Tommy pleaded internally. As if his thoughts had summoned it, the thread snapped, and Tommy was hurtling down towards the pavement. He landed roughly but was otherwise okay. He’d have a few bruises but that was the least of his worries. He snapped his head up, eyes searching desperately for the Bean. “No.” Tommy let out in disbelief. “No, no, no!” The borrower gathered himself up and started sprinting. Adrenaline coursed through him, panic and fear driving him as he raced after Phil who was getting further and further away. If he lost sight of Phil, he’d never get back home! He couldn’t lose him! If he did, he’d never see him or Wilbur or Techno ever again! Even if they didn’t know of his existence, even if he’d only watched them from afar, Tommy just couldn’t lose the life he’d built for himself! They were the closest thing he’d had to a family bond in his entire life!!! He ran after the Bean, not caring for being out in the open as his own thoughts plagued his mind. He screwed everything up back in the colony for being small, being weak. If only he was faster, stronger, bigger! Yes, that's it! If he was bigger he wouldn’t have slipped out of the bag! He’d be able to catch up! He wouldn’t have been seen as different, wouldn’t have been alone! If he was just bigger, he could catch up he could- Suddenly, Tommy slammed harshly into something causing him to back peddle and fall to the ground. He’d been so focused on keeping up with the Bean, he hadn’t been watching where he’d been going. Tommy touched his head and let out a groan of pain from the impact. “Are you alright mate?” Tommy snapped his head up to the familiar voice, eyes blowing wide at the sight before him. Phil was looking directly at him, a concerned look on his face. But that’s not what Tommy was shocked at. Oh no. Because instead of a giant Phil looming over him like he should be, he was eye level with the Bean crouched down before him. Tommy looked around wildly at his surroundings that had magically shrunk and then at himself; realization hitting him like a bullet train. The world hadn’t shrunk. He’d grown.

Going Away (But Not Forever)
—Tubbo and Ranboo had lived a happy life together. Sure it wasn’t the best and they were always on the run due to their hybrid features. At least it had been happy….up until they had gotten caught.
Tubbo assumed they had been around 14 since they were caught and they had stayed together for about a year and a half.
It didn’t matter now though, Tubbo had escaped and the experiments were finally over. He had found the directions to the second base were Ranboo was being held and he was determined to find him.
They had promised each other before they had been split apart that they would find each other, some way, some how. He didn’t intend to break that promise now.
—Tubbo felt dizzy.
It had been easy enough to find where Ranboo was being kept and he now stood in front of his best friend’s cell.
Even though his eyes were now a deep, glowing purple and he had sharper teeth, there was no mistaking the boy in the cage as Ranboo.
Ranboo, who now also happened to be over 50ft tall…
As the other’s purple eyes snapped over to him and the teen let out a vwoop that Tubbo could feel in his chest…
The brunette could only stare on in terror.
Love is Bigger Than the Mountains
—Techno is a well known giant hunter who was said to be cruel and heartless. Ranboo was surprised when he found out that that wasn’t necessarily the case.
Well… the sizeshifter had no doubts that if Techno knew what he was, he would be dead. The hunter was still good company, even if he was good company to a lie.
And he couldn’t exactly leave. The man was already suspicious and if he just left now…
Ranboo shuddered. For now all he could do was stick with Techno and hope his shifting didn’t betray him.
—Techno knew something was odd about the kid. He had found the boy in the middle of the woods as he was tracking his next giant. The pink-haired man was amazed that he had managed to survive so long and hadn’t been picked up by a giant yet. Techno just chalked it up to dumb luck.
Still….he warned the lanky teen to stay close to him, just in case. He didn't care, not at all, he just…didn’t want the teen to be kidnapped by a bloodthirsty giant. He wasn’t THAT heartless.
—As the days pass by the two find themselves enjoying each other’s company more and more.
Techno teaches Ranboo how to set snares to catch food. The teen in turn shows him which of the giant mushrooms are edible in the forest.
More than once the hunter has had to scare off some of the smaller predators that inhabit the giant forest but it hasn’t been an issue…until now.
—The duo had been walking along when a snarl that shook the ground rang out from behind them. Techno’s stomach filled with dread as turned around and saw the giant panther.
It’s velvety dark coat rippled as he jumped down silently from a tree. They were said to be extinct but this one obviously wasn’t.
The hunter was barely twice the size of a mouse compared to the large cat, and he knew this was a fight he couldn’t win.
Techno heard a gasp behind him. Well...he could at least provide a chance to escape.
“Ranboo, when I say go, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction and don’t look back.”
He kept his eyes firmly on the beast but he could barely see Ranboo nodding, a grim look of determination on his face.
He took a deep breath and carefully drew his sword, making sure that all of the feline’s attention was on him.
Techno raised his weapon, shouted “Go!”, and began charging towards the panther. As the cat ran forward to meet him he braced himself to feel sharp claws tear across his body.
But they never did.
Techno opened to eyes to see that the feline had been flung against a tree, and now stood growling at a giant Ranboo. The hunter heard as the sizeshifter growled back, an inhumane sound that tore itself from the boys throat.
The panther leaped and dragged its claws down Ranboo’s arm before he threw it again, this time harder.
The black cat shakily stood up band limped away, defeated.
Techno felt his heart stop as a set of massive eyes locked onto his movement. He wasn’t easily surprised but this was….something he hadn’t expected.
The hunter met the giants gaze and he feebly raised his sword.
Let’s Show Them
—Tommy had just wanted to prove that he COULD be helpful and do things in his own, that was all.
That’s why one morning he woke up early and made his way to the kitchen, determined to make break.
Was it easier to just have one of the humans make breakfast, sure. But was Tommy going to use common sense and logic?? Absolutely not!
He had actually managed to get all of the ingredients out! But then tragedy struck.
The tiny had slipped on some spilled water and had fallen right into the sink! Now all he could do was wait.
—When Wilbur had found him, asleep in then sink the first thing he did was gently carry him upstairs and put him to bed. (After snapping a picture of course.)
He was nice enough that when Tommy woke up late the didn’t mention his little mishap in the sink.
Besides, Tommy will see the picture in the photo album soon enough.
(I’m sorry I didn’t have a lot for the last one—)

I love tiny falls into giants mouth while they sleep and get swallowed trope so what if during a work break or something (maybe a sleepover would make more sense?) Ranboos napping on the couch and Tubbo and Tommy are having a war on the backrest of the sofa and one looses their balance and falls into Ranboos mouth? (all depends how heavy of a sleeper Ranboo is though I guess-)
sorry these doodles are a bit shitty i did them in school lol
anyway yesss!!! love this trope and i wanted to practice more comic style stuff anyways so thank you!!

Can you please tell us more about the lab-raccooninnit au?
HI HI SORRY tumblr didn’t give me a notif for this, so i only saw it like three days later. and then i forgor
ANYWAY,, it’s been a while but,, yeah yeah i can see what else i can remember about it!!
i did try writing a fic for it, buuuut unfortunately i never finished it, 😔. if you haven’t seen it yet, i put it in my scraps on ao3!
lemme see…. i never mentioned this, i don’t think, nor have a really expanded on it,, but i believe schlatt was supposed to be related to the lab tommy came from? maybe he was supporting it, or maybe he was the lead scientist or something,, i’m not sure.
tubbo was also supposed to be here, too! he’s schlatt’s kid, but he prolly didn’t know anything about what the lab was doing, if he knew about it at all. so– seeing tommy is definitely a surprise, the first time.
i’ve shown i’m this in drawings before, but tommy can shapeshift slightly, as well as sizeshift! he can look human-ish, with raccoon ears and tail, or he can just– be a full-on raccoon.
imagining ranboo hanging out around a nearby town, with tommy as a regular-looking raccoon(disregarding the blonde fur, that is) on his shoulders,, with ranboo claiming tommy to be just some dog. no one is fooled by this, of course, but no one really says anything about it, anyway,,, skdbkdndkd.
anyway– i think that’s about all i have to share rn? so take these really old doodles!!! i forget if i shared some of them already or not,, kdbdkdbd

Bug Catching
Hey- I'm still here and yes I'm still making content for MCYT gt my motivation kind of just launched itself into space and took a bit to come back, I have two more stories in the work that hopefully will be coming out soon! For now please enjoy this very fluffy AU that if you're confused on what's going on you can send in ask! (Also depending on my motivation you're either getting more fluff for Me and JKnights AU collab or Bubblegum Buzz, you'll find out which one you get at some point dw)
Content warning- None! We viding here!
------------------------------------------
Tommy was on a mission! His Dad had gotten him a new net and notebook for his 6th birthday and summer had finally arrived, that man it was time for him to adventure into the forest and find new bugs to catch and write about in his book!
The blonde grabbed his yellow rain boots, his satchel bag that looked like a ladybug, and his new bug catching net and ran out of the house heading towards the forest that surrounded his home. Tommy was going to catch every single bug in the forest and write them down in his notebook! Nothing was going to stop him!
"Tommy!" 'oh no it was Dadza-' "Tommy you know you're not allowed to head out into the woods alone." Tommy slowly walked over to the kitchen giving his father puppy dog eyes, Philza simply crossed his arms smiling down at him. "You know that doesn't work on me Tommy."
"Please? If I don't get out there now I won't be able to catch any big bugs!" Tommy tried explaining to his father as he hugged his notebook and net close to his chest, why couldn't grown-ups understand things that are so simple?
"You can go out once Wilbur is done with his homework." Philza stated as he started packing up some snacks into a small bag, Tommy took his rain boots off and left his net right by the front door as he walked over to the counter and reached up for an apple. Philza happily handed him one "How about you go ask your brother when he's going to be done with his homework? Maybe you can even help him!"
Tommy thought the idea over for a moment and quickly noticed in his head as he ran upstairs to his brother's room and started pounding on the door to get his attention, he didn't stop pounding until the door swung open and his brother looked down at him, obviously annoyed. The blonde simply smiled as he grabbed his brother's hand and started dragging him out of the room.
"Going on an adventure that's way more important than your homework!" Tommy proclaimed as he was suddenly lifted up into the air by his brother and carried back into his room, Wilbur set Tommy down on his bed as he went back to doing his homework. Tommy crossed his arms grumbling.
"Once I'm done doing this I'll take you out to the forest so you can draw pictures of your bugs." Wilbur stated is he moved on to the second sheet of his homework "And don't get all grumpy with me Tommy, trust me I'd rather be out in the forest drawing bugs with you than doing this stupid homework."
Tommy dramatically laid down on his brother's bed staring up with the ceiling fan and watched it slowly turn around and around- then had an absolutely brilliant idea! Tommy quickly set up right and ran over to his brother's side grabbing one of his hands, he got a big smile on his face as he started dragging his brother away from his desk in his wheelie chair. "Then we'll just say you finished it! Dadza won't know!"
Wilbur was about to protest until he realized his little brother was technically right, he smiled down at the blonde and scooped Tommy up into his arms grabbing his son hat and putting it on as he walked out of his room running down the stairs, he sat Tommy down has he started putting his shoes on and grabbed his house keys. "Dad! Where going out now!"
"Ok! Be safe out there boys and make sure you come back before sundown!" Philza yelled from the kitchen as he watched his boys run out into the forest through the kitchen window, he smiled to himself hoping that he would have a peaceful adventure out in the woods.
~~~~~~~~~~
Tommy was extremely proud of himself! He had drawn four pictures of blue butterflies, five pictures of red ladybugs, and seven pictures of bumblebees! The blonde continued adding the final details of his six ladybug drowning as the bug flew away, he stood up from his spot in the grass and tried chasing after it but felt his brother grab his wrist.
"Tommy I've told you this three times you can't chase after the bugs, come on let's find you a different ladybug to draw" Wilbur started walking in the opposite direction of the darker part of the woods hoping to find something his brother would want to draw but then they felt the ground shaking a little in a familiar voice call out Wilbur's name, he quickly picked up Tommy and yelled back.
"Niki! It's me and Tommy! Where are you?" Tommy noticed how the ground stopped shaking when his name was mentioned and then saw his sister practically jump out of a nearby bush looking very panicked and ran over to Wilbur "Niki are you ok-"
"We need to talk in private- I- I-" Niki started stumbling over her words, her anxiety taking over a little, Tommy was placed on the ground and told to go find some bugs to draw and happily ran off wanting to find another bumblebee. Niki was the toughest person in the world so you didn't need to worry about her!
Tommy wandered deep into the darker parts of the forest desperately trying to catch a small patch of yellow he saw in the distance, absolutely certain it was a bee, then Tommy finally got closer to the fluffy yellow thing deep within the woods he bumped into what looked like a giant shoe. Tommy took a few steps away from the shoe, very confused until he looked past the shoe and saw a giant person attached to it!
The young blonde stared at the giant brunette absolutely amazed but also a bit scared considering how big this person was, he went completely still as the brunette slowly turned around to face him a few tears running down his face. Oh no! Was the giant hurt?
"Are you ok giant?" Tommy asked as the giant frantically wiped at his face trying to get rid of his tears, he jumped a little as the giant spoke their voice very loud.
"No! I'm fine, I'm a big boy and I'm not lost." The brunette practically proclaimed as he crossed his arms glaring down at the forest floor, Tommy just stood there very confused and unsure of what to say until he noticed a pair of giant bee wings on the Giants back and small antenna poking out of his head. The blonde suddenly had an idea and pulled out his bug net doing his best to put it on top of the giant shoe.
The giant brunette looked down at him extremely confused now but stayed completely still, obviously not bothered by the small net now on his shoe.
"What are you doing ladybug?" The brunette asked tilting his head to the side as Tommy pulled out his notebook and started drawing in it.
"I have captured you! Now I'm going to write you down in my book!" Tommy explained smiling up at the Giant and then going back to trying to draw him, he drew a really big rock and a tree to show just how big the brunette was in his drawing.
"Ooh ok! Are you going to let me go when you're done drawing?" The brunette asked leaning in closer to try seeing the drawing on the small piece of paper, Tommy smiled up at the giant nodding his head.
"Of course! It would be mean of me to not let you go when I'm done drawing my picture, also what's your name? I'm Tommy!" Tommy asked if he stopped coloring for a few minutes and looked up at the giant again.
"Oh! My name is Tubbo, it's nice to have been caught by you!" Tubbo smiled back down at Tommy "How is your drawing going?"
"Oh I'm all down!" Tommy quickly took his net off of Tubbo's shoe and took a few steps away from him as he held up the drawing so the giant could see it, he did his best not to flinch back as Tubbo laid down on his stomach and got extremely close to look at the drawing.
"Ooh that's a really good drawing! I like how you drew my wings!" Tubbo stated as he slowly backed away from Tommy and set up right still smiling down at the human, Tommy got a big smile on his face hugging his notebook close to his chest.
"Thank you! I really like drawing bugs, especially bumblebees! They're my favorite!" Tommy explained to Tubbo watching as the giant's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Bumblebees are my favorite bugs too! I especially like the big fluffy ones, they just look so soft and huggable!" Tubbo started rocking back and forth where he sat obviously excited to meet someone else who liked bees.
"They are! I wish bees were big enough to hug them-"
"Tommy! Tommy, where are you!?"
Tommy quickly turned around when he heard his brother yelling out his name and taking a few steps towards his brother's voice, he was suddenly not to the ground by a gust of wind in a flash of something pink. The blonde quickly set up right and turned around seeing that Tubbo was- gone?
"Tommy!" Wilbur ran over to his little brother scooping him up into his arms and hugging him tightly as he began walking back towards their home "I was so worried about you! I told you to go find some bugs to draw, not run off into the dangerous part of the woods!"
Tommy just wrapped his arms around Wilbur's neck "I'm sorry Wilby, I just wanted to draw the big bee!"
"You still shouldn't have wandered off so deep into the forest." Wilbur just continued walking as the sun slowly started to set behind the two brothers.
~~~~~~~~~
Wilbur quietly walked into the house as he heard his father walking around in the kitchen and talking on the phone with them and quickly made his way over to the stairs setting Tommy down on them, he quickly told his little brother to go upstairs and get ready for dinner watching as the blonde quickly ran upstairs towards the bathroom. The brunette slowly made his way over to the kitchen poking his head inside and watching his father talk on the phone.
"Yes. Yes I know the rules. No we didn't do this on purpose- there children they don't know any better!" Philza practically yelled into his phone struggling to keep his composure, he took in a deep breath and finally hung up the phone and looked over at his eldest son.
"A-Are we in trouble?" Wilbur asked nervously, stepping into the kitchen and rubbing his arms.
"No. No one is in any trouble, we have been given a warning but no other action should be taken." Philza pinch to the brim of his nose feeling a headache coming on "But Eret and Niki won't be able to come and visit us for a few weeks."
Wilbur frowned as he stared down at the ground still rubbing at his arms "I'm sorry Dad…I should have been paying better attention to him and-"
"Wilbur this is no one's fault, go get cleaned up and I'll finish making us dinner okay?" Philza smiled up at his son and watched as he started walking upstairs, he let out a deep sigh as he pulled out his phone again and dialed his wife's number.
Hopefully they could get all of this sorted out.

New AU
SBI 3/3 (Phil, Techno, Wilbur) are all giant/size shifter immortals
Phil is enjoying the sun when he sees three young boys in the distance, he doesn't bother them and only waving after they wave to him. (Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo)
Then their mother appeared, (Kristen!)
The two adults talk as the kids explore Philza's hands.
Soon they begin to meet up, after finding out that they live in a cabin at the edge of the woods.
Wilbur and Technoblade met them and grew as fond as he had.
The children, while intimidated by the two, found ways to scare and irritate the younger giants.
Though they are easily distracted by promises of rides. (Flying or in Techno's case extreme tail wagging)
Despite Tommy being Wilbur's obvious favorite, he splits time between the brothers.
Ranboo being Techno's favorite, sometimes leaves Tubbo alone but Techno and Wilbur find ways to bring Tubbo into the group.
(Tubbo has self esteem issues, even in his family)
Tubbo doesn't feel the bond everyone in his family feels. (He doesn't have a favorite and he isn't the favorite)
Everyone knows this and tries to bring him closer, he's close to the group just not the favorite.
When Kristen and Phil get married, even though he knows he's loved Tubbo feels oddly alone.
At one point he tried to run away during a snow storm, only to be found by the Technoblade (the better hunter).
Techno managed to get Tubbo to open up and feels guilty, even as Tubbo explains it's just himself.
After Tubbo gets wrapped up in many "blankets" and falls asleep, Technoblade explains what was going on.
This was supposed to be fluffy...wtf happened?

Ayoo, Do you have any new au on mind??
If yes, could you share some info???
Have a cookie 🍪 :]
Heck yeah give me a second
Percy Jackson AU
Don't have much, just a base idea of Sapnap as the fiery son of Hephaestus, Dream as the powerful son of Ares, George as the knowledgeable son of Athena, and Karl as the persuasive son of Aphrodite. That's about all I have, so idk if I'll write it.
Shifter Tubbo
This one is an ask that's on my list, I promise I'm going to work on it. Tubbo is a giant shifter, originally lived in the land of the giants before arriving in the SMP. He already knew a few shifters on there, like Phil and Dream, but other then them, he was on his own. But Tubbo can't stay human for long, and eventually had to go back to the land of the giants, unaware that Tommy and Ranboo sort of follow him. Unfortunately the two spot Tubbo, and now they are like 'holy f^^^ is that Tubbo?!' idk what happens next tho gotta think about it
Tiny Dream
Got this prompt two minutes ago and rolling with something. Tiny Dream gets hurt somehow and Punz is there to save him, even if Dream doesn't know who he is.
I would love it it someone could help me figure these out, the rest of my stories that I'm working on are for @beckyu @kayla-crazy-stuffs and @quotemenevermore2 so here's the basics for those!
First Date
Dating a mer isn't easy, and dating two mers are even harder, and yet, Karl is absolutely up for it.
Behind These Shattered Walls
Yep, Karl's cozy. At least he has one good thing left to comfort him- is that food?
Tight
Why did his fiancees like this? No, it was too much, too tight, too squishy, too slippery, too much! He couldn't breathe, even if he was surrounded by the normally grounding presence of Sapnap.
Dang that was a lot
Anywho now I'm gonna write some stuff byeeeeee
