Letter from Malavai Quinn to previously romanced character you receive in KOTFE after you come out of carbonite.
[id: text from a letter that reads: From: Malavai Quinn
Subject: I remain your loyal servant
My lord, it's likely I'm prattling to no one. Still, I had to send something.
You're not one for minced words, so I'll be blunt: The Empire needs you. More than that--I need you. Discord reigns in Dromund Kaas. Without your leadership, the crew disbanded, and I have received little assistance from the Dark Council or Imperial military. No one will grant me an audience, much less answer my inquiries.
I should have come with you aboard Darth Marr's ship--stood in my rightful place by your side. I know I've made mistakes, but I thought I had a lifetime to make up for my betrayal. Now I'm faced with the possibility of never seeing you again... and it makes me ill. I cannot accept it.
The shame of my past actions and my love for you will fuel me for eternity. No matter what anyone says--I know you're alive, and I will find you. Even if it kills me. /end id]

Disney era Star Wars baits-and-switches fans with "This is going to be a story fallowing Empire Characters" almost as much as it releases a film featuring "the first gay Disney character," and its starting to tick me off.
Oh Wait never mind, she turns rebel...
What about Rogue one, remember those ominous lines in the trailers?
Oh wait noooooo she was only in a disguise and the cool sword things on her back are actually pylons for directing aircraft.
In the last Jedi it hints that Rey might be slipping towards the Dark Side, or possibly she will team up with Kylo as a Jedi-Sith team. The symbolism is there and in the Rise of Skywalker Trailer they Even show us a SITH REY!
Oh nooooooooo that was just a Force Vision.
Oh and Bad Batch, lets see the lives of Clone Troopers working for the Empire at its very start! This should be interesting!
Oh they try to save the jedi and defect after the Empire tries to kill them for... some reason?
Heck Even in Star Wars Squadrons your cool Imperial Squad Leader defects in the FIRST MISSION.
I personally liked how Force Unleashed handled it. You were secretly working for Vader, setting up the rebellion just to take it down. You could imagine yourself (the player) working for either side. Even when Vader Betrays you, and you go on a mission to confront him, the games frames it as either: "You rescuing the rebels and saving the day," or "you seeking revenge and killing Vader to become a Sith."
Its not until the very end where you make a choice that retroactively determines your allegiance.

Happy Father’s Day to the manifestation of terrifying paternal obsession!
Storyboard drawn by Ivor Beddoes during the late 70s as preproduction for The Empire Strikes Back. From “Storyboards: The Original Trilogy,” edited by J. W. Rinzler and published in 2014.
“Beddoes did not know exactly what Vader would say at this point in the film, as this part of the script was top secret. His note reads ‘Beelzebub offering the world...end of dialogue.’”
“Beelzebub offers the world” would be super cool on a t-shirt! Demonic associations with Anakin are awesome!

11 oz. whole grain flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
2 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
¾ tsp fine salt
⅛ tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp grated nutmeg
1 tbsp. lemon zest
4 oz. frozen butter
1 cup blueberries
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup sour cream
¼ cup milk
1 cup blueberries
1) In a bowl add all the dry ingredients. Add the lemon zest and mix well.
2) In a measuring cup mix the sour cream and milk until the form a thick liquid. Add the vanilla extract and 3/4 cup of the sour cream liquid to the dry ingredients using a spatula and adding in 1/4 cup increments ensure even distribution. Add the blueberries with the last 1/4 cup of sour cream liquid. (You should have 1/4 cup left over. Set aside.)
3) Once the dough starts coming together place on a non-stick worksurface. Using your hands bring the dough together until it forms a ball. Press the dough out into a square being careful not to burst the blueberries and cut into eight pieces.
4) Transfer into a parchment lined baking sheet. Brush the top of each scone with the reserved sour cream mixture and sprinkle the tops with brown sugar.
5) Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until the tops are browned and blueberry juice is beginning to leak out.
STORY TIME (see SWTOR HCs below the cut):
Scones originate from Ziost. Unlike Dromund Kaas (where every piece of bread seems to be a karking brioche), Ziost is known for its hearty foods and multitude of breads and muffins.
A true Ziosti Scone in a mixture of flour, butter and milk and contains negligible amounts of sugar. These are often eaten at breakfast or with a nice cup of tea topped with honey butter. The scone eventually made its way to Dromund Kaas where the locals found it a bit bland and decided to make it their own.
Kaasi variations of the scones began to include local fruit, spices, and fermented dairy all of which were easier to come by in a tropical climate. While purists will insist on the original Ziosti recipe, the Kaasi recipe become a breakfast and tea staple among both Imperials and Sith. As such, it is often found listed in cafes and bakeries as “Imperial Scones”.
Imperial mess halls and ration packs often have a variation of these scones. As the ingredients are often easy to find and keep well during long term storage, it is not uncommon to find some version of Imperial Scones even in the front lines. These pastries are often tossed together using whatever fat, sweeteners and liquid is available. Particularly bad iterations are often referred to as hound biscuits or ferrocrete scones by the troops. Alternatively, there are several accounts of ships’ cooks being promoted to Colonel simply because they had the knack of creating excellent scones out of the most stringent rations.
Among the Sith Elite, scones are made with fresh fruit, cultured milk, butter, and whole grain flour. Power and influence is often displayed by demanding fresh shipments of these highly perishable items even amidst a battlefield. At home, it is expected that the Lord of the stronghold have freshly baked scones and tea readily available in the event an unexpected guest arrived.
Coruscant has a variation of Imperial Scones, but they are often made with copious amounts of sugar and topped with enough frosting to suit a Republic Palate. Imperial defectors will complain loudly to anyone willing to listen about the sugared abominations being passed off as a scone. Unfortunately for them, the only way to get a true Imperial Scone in the Republic would be to bake one themselves.
The Alliance has reached a sort of truce among both factions. The standard fare in the Alliance café is a true Imperial Scone. However, they do keep little packets of frosting behind the counter for those Pubs who need a proper sugar rush. For those looking for a true Ziosti Scone: the barista will probably pluck out some of the berries and hand you the rest.

Letter from Andronikos Revel to previously romanced character you receive in KOTFE after you come out of carbonite.
[id: text from a letter that reads: From: Andronikos Revel
Subject: Blast it, where are you?
None of your Council friends will speak to me, and they grounded the Fury. Whole capital's in chaos. Rumors flying everywhere. Look, neither of us likes to be clingy, but you can't pull a disappearing act and not expect me to worry. We're a team.
I'm not a sentimental guy, you know that, but if something's happened to you... I don't think I can go back to my old life. Used to feel like relationships were nothing but dead weight. All I wanted was to fly free, no attachments. But what we have together--I wouldn't give that up for anything.
I know you're alive. It would take more than an explosion to kill my girl. Even a really big one. If I don't hear from you, I'll commandeer a shuttle to find you myself. /end id]

Letter from Vette to previously romanced character you receive in KOTFE after you come out of carbonite.
[id: text from a letter that reads: From: Vette
Subject: Things I'll never know
It's been almost a year since I last saw you outside of a dream. Every day, I have the same question. How did it end? Were there a hundred bad guys swarming you, like a bunch of killiks trying to take down a krayt dragon? I want to think you went down swinging and took most of them out with you.
But other times I wonder if you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some external bulkhead ripped open next to you. Hard vacuum 1, Empire's Wrath 0. Maybe it was a reactor-core breach, and you never even had time to feel the heat?
They say powerful Sith can come back from the dead and appear to the people they had strong connections to when they were alive. Will I wake up some day and see you? Will you finally tell me what happened? Will I know if you had time to think about me before you died? /end id]

Obikin x Mr. Perfectly Fine.
"Obi-Wan decided not to fight Anakin on Mustafar, not because he doubted his abilities, but because he could not harm the one person he had by his side and loved the most; implying that Anakin was never burned by the flames of that planet. He spared Kenobi's life because he loved him too, however, he saw it as a rejection that he did not want to join him in the galactic empire, so he only watched him leave.
He and Padmé never married, because Anakin confessed to her that he could not fully reciprocate, but they still had their flirtatious moments, where Skywalker pretended that his love for his Master didn't exist. She tried to stop him and received that Force choke; but she survived, so Anakin's heart softened again in regret, because he would not lose her, not the only person he could have by his side. Padmé would not forgive him so easily, but she loved him so much that she had no choice but to continue by his side.
Several years after that event, although Palpatine tried his best to «tame» his rebellious apprentice, Anakin rebelled against him and killed him, becoming the new emperor of the galaxy with Padmé by his side, while she was waiting for her little Luke and Leia, bringing peace and security to the other planets because Anakin never wanted to destroy the inhabitants of the galaxy, he only wanted the tranquility that had been lost because of The Clone Wars.
The new image of the empire made it safer to trust Anakin and Padmé; a young couple who wanted to bring back some kind of democracy even though the empire was established. That they were both just victims of Palpatine, and that Anakin had waited all this time to find a way to defeat him. To the people he was not a traitor, he was just a martyr, and now a hero. Few were those who knew the truth of Anakin's fall; and among those were Padmé, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka.
Anakin wasn't strong enough to look the last three in the face, to confront them and see their disappointment. But he made the attempt to find his former Padawan, who at first was only dismissive of him, because even though she was unhappy with certain things about the Jedi Order, she was hurt that Anakin had betrayed them in such a way. But as time went on, the emotional attachment to him was stronger; Ahsoka knew that there was good in this "new Anakin", that he had been through immense horrors that no one would be able to understand, only him. That nothing justified the deaths he caused, but in his eyes she could see the pain, regret and guilt, and she decided to finally forgive him. Besides Anakin was cooperative; she proposed restoring the Jedi Order and Skywalker agreed without making any excuses.
Everything seemed to be fine with him; people could see that on the HoloNet and that's what they believed. He was happily married to Padmé, with their two children and Ahsoka accompanying them, with the project of restoring the Jedi Order. All he needed was forgiveness from his Master, but even Yoda himself didn't scare him as much as having to see Kenobi's face again.
Obi-Wan received the news from his friend, Bail Organa, since he had stayed as a guest on Alderaan, in hiding and under another identity. He had decided to stay away from reading the news about the Empire, because his heart squeezed in his chest every time he saw Anakin smile in the holograms.
«How could he be so happy after he'd broken his heart?» He had deceived him, betrayed him. He had broken the Code and hidden his affair with Padmé, he had destroyed the Order, but Obi-Wan like a fool had given his heart to someone who didn't return his feelings and decided not to face him out of love; or so he thought, because he never actually confessed the truth to Anakin.
Maybe someday he could see him again, talk about the past, the mistakes they had made and why Anakin had not trusted him. Maybe one day Obi-Wan could get rid of his feelings that he had always considered «forbidden», or maybe he could tell his former Padawan how he felt, resigning himself and accepting the rejection.
Or maybe they would never see each other again, because Obi-Wan didn't want to seem like an interference, because Anakin seemed perfectly fine without him."
Ok, I got really inspired by this, I was about to cry with my own imagination, but well, things happen.
I'm considering writing this as a story in ao3, I don't know if you want to read it, but if you do, then I'll be leaving a link soon so you can read it.

Darth Vader. This is a rework of an older piece. I was never able to get the contrast and the right feel. When I tried a limited color “woodblock” sort of look it finally hit where I’ve wanted it to. Success!
