Headcanon:

sometimes when it’s a good day for Andrew but Neil has a nightmare they will just lay awake holding each other.

To Neil it’s like Andrew is holding him back from running. A physical weight reminding him that he doesn’t need to book it the second he feels to comfortable.

Andrew knows doing this is grounding for Neil. He also knows that Neil would never ask for this if Andrew wasn’t completely comfortable with it. That makes it safe. If Andrew says no they could go for a drive or out for a cigarette or literally anything but this but he knows how much Neil likes this and Andrew would gladly sacrifice a sleepless night in exchange for Neil’s happiness.

Anyway this got a little out of my control so basically they find comfort in each other and that makes me feel feelings.

—kevin is an ex-solider of the new world order. he was riko’s right hand man when he was still on the E.A. Raven.

—he’s a navigator! which is the only type of person able to safely plan out courses through the Void, a dense part of space that can help ships travel faster AND is the source of power in this world.

—the scars on his hand displays a sky full of stars. this is NOT normal, it’s caused by void exposure, which every member of the fox crew has with few exceptions. they manifest in different ways.

—kevin gets two guns ❤️ the riffle is based off of one i had in a campaign that did so much damage

—neil was a stowaway on a ship when an accident on it occurred, leaving him the sole survivor and stranded in the middle of nowhere, empty space. the foxes rescued him.

—insists he’s not part of the fox’s crew until he meets riko. he immediately gets his first wanted poster plastered everywhere afterwards

—neils gun used to belong to mary. there’s an H engraved onto it

—andrew has two spirits bound to him, and they’re sir and king. they can converse with andrew and only andrew, as well as act as armor/weapons for him. cats are seen as good luck for ships btw . if tou even care

—didnt draw andrew’s knives because most of them are concealed and its funnier to leave people guessing. he does have four of them that are visible at all times though

Please believe me when I say that King and Sir are absolute nuisances. Everyone hates them so much except for Neil and Andrew. (And Renee)

The cats tricked Neil into bringing them home (based on an ao3 fic called King and Sirs Gotcha Day)

Sir enjoys pretending to be cute to lure you in to pet him, but will take his first chance to attack you.

King will stalk you and attack your feet. You'll never see her coming. (She uses her claws like Andrew uses his knives)

So photogenic you forget forget all the wrong they've ever done

They are the sweetest to Andrew and Neil, even when guests are over. Nicky whines about how unfair this is

Neil doesn't allow them to have people food

It's okay though, they know Andrew will give them people food when Neil's not looking

Sir wears a bell on his collar so they know where he is

King refuses to wear a collar

She keeps pulling/ biting them off, much to the boys displeasure, and hides them so they can't find it

They eventually gave up on the collar when King started meowing everytime she entered a room with Andrew or Neil so she wouldn't accidently sneak up on them

Aaron and Kaitlyn babysat them for a weekend while Andrew and Neil were at the fall banquet

They proceeded to destroy Aaron's house without getting caught

King will stare Aaron down until he looks at her. She will then proceed to knock over the closest thing to her.

She even locked him outside his apartment once. (He was mildly impressed)

Sir is all cuddly towards Kaitlyn, so Aaron can't punish them

After the weekend Aaron vows to never see the cats again

(Andrew interrogates them on how they did that so he could do it. They meow and Andrew nods back in understanding)

Renee takes care of the cats when the boys are gone

King likes Renee. Sir begrudgingly respects her

Dan was the first to mention how similar King and Sir are to Andrew and Neil respectively.

Silently, this explains a lot to Andrew
