how are you doing today, everything is good?

Heck yeah, everything is doing great!

Me and my girlfriend did a walk through a giant Aspen grove nearby to watch the fall leaves yesterday, and I'm lucky enough to live in an area that'll see the eclipse tomorrow. Me and my whole family have the glasses, so we're gonna get together for a little viewing party.

I've been super duper busy, but I'm considering taking off my one November convention so I can sit and focus for the month on the video game. I haven't been able to work on it for MONTHS and I so badly want to continue to.

But mentally, I've been really fantastic. I'm back into reading books and I'm trying to get through my gf's favorite book series right now, or go back and reread some classics. To Kill A Mockingbird might just be my favorite book ever written.

Enough rambling, but yes! I'm doing super well right now! The only thing I want more of is rest, lol

I wouldn’t be shocked if down the line it comes out that Eddie was lying about how much he remembers from the shooting (especially since we saw him have such a visceral reaction to nearly dying in the well). But I also wouldn’t be shocked if he really did repress all of it. Time standing still, reaching out to Buck, asking Buck if he was hurt because he saw blood on him. Imagine he had that “oh” moment, but it’s in the midst of a traumatic event so part of his brain locks it away and throws away the key. But the other part of his brain is screaming at him. There’s an alarm going off in his brain that something is wrong, wrong, wrong, which lead perfectly into the panic attack/breaking up with Ana storyline.

All of that so deep, deep, deep down, and it comes up as we move forward with the guilt/repression storyline. If they loved us, they could give us a therapy scene with a flashback montage of the shooting as Eddie unpacks his trauma and comes to terms with his sexuality 🫶🏾
