Spreading germs to all my sims (The Sims 4 For Rent)

So I love watching others play the Sims games. I watch @acottonsocksims2 , pleasant sims, Marticore and now I am adding this guy to my line up. He is funny as all heck with his gameplay and the names he gives his sims. lmao flangelica foufi so funny. I take my game and characters very seriously, but this guy doesn't care and he shows you that it's OK to laugh at the misfortune that happens in the game whether it's having a sim die 12 times, listening to his laugh or broken elements within the game. What a fun watch. Check out SatchOnSims. His laugh keeps me coming back.

How do your sims characters evolve?

Do you write them, then create them in CAS with that in mind?

Or do you let them do their thing in-game and evolve the character like that?

You ever just read through your own content like damn this pretty good. No, just me? It’s cool, I will always be my own number fan (and harshest critic). I’m kidding cause I don’t know how y’all feel but I like what I post regardless is all.

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to playing with the Langleys soon. I’m okay with putting all other saves on hold until I complete all ten generations of this legacy. I know I keep talking about the Langleys and rarely posting about them but to be honest things are super repetitive at the moment. I’m also not feeling super motivated to write about anything they’ve been doing or maybe I just haven’t had time I don’t really know.

I’ll be glad when the holidays are over and life goes back to normal.

I've been editing, recoloring and revamping some fences for our game! but today I had two wisdom tooth extractions, I'm still bleeding and I need to have some rest before working with more, BUT if you want to suggest some fences and/or gates to be revamped just poke me and I'll analyse the suggestion :> and I will share it in a mega post when everything is finished!

So at one point, back when Black Pearl Sims was open, I had acquired some recolors of Buggybooz’s Craftsman Set.  There was a blonde wood and like a dark walnut, plus a couple of fabric recolors I think.  The site is long dead and I haven’t been able to find the aforementioned recolors in any of the reuploads out there (it doesn’t help that I have no idea who made them.)  Since they are sitting on my defunct laptop, I figured I would just attempt to recreate them.  I actually wound up with eight newish wood tones, and I figured someone out there might like them as well.

So far, I’ve only recolored the meshes pictured above: the grandfather clock, china cabinet, endtable, music cabinet, secretary desk, coffee table, and plant stands (the short one and the tall one are repositoried to the mid-height one.)  I’ve lightly edited them - naming, price, catalog placement - and have included those edits in the RAR.  If you want unedited versions, get them from the link above.

I realize it would be handy of me to decode my swatch...

01 is a color I got by poking at Buggy’s original (also pictured for reference and comparison) in Photoshop.  I called it Ashen but it’s not really.

02 is digi’s Charon run over TheRaven’s Platinum.

03 is digi’s Fireal run over the original wood tone.

04 is TheRaven’s Mahogany run over their Platinum

05 is digi’s Orias run over TheRaven’s Platinum.

06 is TheRaven’s Platinum run on the original wood tone.

07 is Primer run on my Ashen color.

08 is Charon again but with the saturation turned down that I’ve named Vulcan.

I made two new recolors for the hardware on the china cabinet but it only has one subset so it’s not mix & match unfortunately.  Recolors 03 and 04 use Buggy’s original, the rest use one of mine.  I, uhh...failed to do the same with the grandfather clock.  Just stick that on the list of things I might eventually get around to, might not.
