The Cat Cafe works around not being able to bake pretty well. They serve Flapjacks which are not baked. Waffles which are not baked. Soup is not baked. Creme Brulees aren't baked. Sorbet isn't baked. It is weird they serve roasted vegetables. And I'm pretty sure quiche simosas are baked. But other than that everything is almost normal to serve at a cafe and doesn't require baking.
I think the Internet was ruined by those guys who go on Instagram and comment things like "um actually you can tell by the curvature of her doorframe that this photo is edited 🤓"
Like I miss when you could copy and paste a picture of yourself, white background included, into a picture of a beach, then post that picture to Facebook saying "livin it up in malibu" and your aunt Sharon would just comment saying "have a simosa for me too! 🤪" and neither of you would mention that you clearly edited the picture, and she doesn't know what a simosa is
A new band of young men turned up in Liz’ spot this week (boohoo, no homemade scones or cakes😢), and although we were a bit late to the Whiteladies Road market, we were still lucky enough to get the last Einkorn loaf of bread, plus pastries, plus cheese, plus hommus plus simosas, plus coffee, of course, from The Columbian!
oh. my. god. I had too many simosas and since I’ve been eating so clean the last few months my body literally shuts down. I am exhausted. I’m going to need so many coffees to get through this holy moly.
