*looks to left, sees a bunch of different DJ MM* *looks to the right, sees a bunch of different Howdy* I'm guessing that when you really like a character you make different versions of them?
I mean technically-? Though for Dj all of the other Djs are their own character that don’t even associate with him in the slightest- they kinda are their own thing smhhh
Everyone enjoys making alternative versions of characters they enjoy, like this new crack au I made on a complete whim (the “shiddy dating sim” au) JSHDHDJSJSJ-
Before u say anything- no this is not inspired by DDLC JDHCHDH- instead inspired by the c l a s s i c s such as “Kusoge” and “Hatoful boyfriend”
why did I make this-? I dunno JDHDDHDJ probably won’t draw anything else from this again LMAO just a lil crack post

eddie and venom playing videogames together would be so funny, i think
like i imagine if they play something like the Sims, Eddie is doing your typical "Make the sim as ugly as possible because it's funny" bit. just hideously weird looking with bright pink skin and pieces of the face clipping through each other because he's stretched it so much. he names them Shit Fart.
meanwhile Venom would be working so hard to make as close to a replica of Eddie as possible. Venom has downloaded twenty five mods to allow for larger lips and more tattoos. Venom's got so much custom content in the game to give Sim Eddie the best outfits. Venom buys Sim Eddie the nicest things in the game. Eddie's house is perfect.
Eddie sets his own sim on fire.

I need y'all to understand exactly why Our Dating Sim is doing the "I left him because I love him" plot sooooooo well for me.
Lee Wan (Ian) kissed Ki Tae (Eddy). When Eddy stepped back and pushed Ian away, Ian ran away. They have not seen each other for seven years.
In that time, Eddy has searched for Ian, and when he finally found him, he launched a strategic plan to get Ian back into his orbit.
HOWEVER, he hasn't just forgotten that Ian ran away seven years ago, essentially abandoning him.
This is what I think other shows that attempt this miss. They either fall into "I'm just so happy to have him back and will forgive everything" OR "I'm holding grudges forever." Eddy wants Ian back, but he has been passively/aggressively reminding Ian that HE left him, not the other way around. Ian can be upset. Ian can be overwhelmed. But at the end of the day, IAN left Eddy, so while Ian was allowed to move beyond the incident over the past seven years, Eddy has been stuck there.
Ian tells Eddy he acted as if he didn't remember Ian, but Eddy corrects him that Ian acted that way first. Ian tells Eddy he is stalking him. Eddy reminds him that his blog was open to the public, he truly needed an illustrator, and has been professional with him.
And this entire moment was *delicious* because unlike other shows, Eddy doesn't let Ian slide. Ian can't avoid the truth. Ian can't pin this on Eddy. Eddy doesn't let Ian avoid answering. He confronts Ian, and the longer they do this, the more aggressive Eddy becomes. He even shoulder checks Ian.
Even when Ian begs, Eddy lets him walk away, but he doesn't let up.
Because Eddy DESERVES ANSWERS!
Ian's feelings of rejection were valid. Eddy pushed him away and stepped back, but he didn't give Eddy a chance to explain, and seven years later, he still won't.
Eddy doesn't just deserve answers.
Eddy deserves to be heard.
