Steve went to @hottopic at the mall here and got me these. I just found the bag. A little something to perk me up before I get ready for my interview. First interview in ages. Stitch is the only hint of Christmas this year. We have so much going on. I must say Robert is frightening as a @originalfunko 😆 wanted him anyway. #RobertSmith #liloandstitch #SantaStitch #shopoholic #funkofunatic (at Spokane Valley, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmEbrlErTvg/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

When I had the flu that just would not pass last month, my mom came by to drop off soup (and carefully avoided telling me until weeks later that I looked like Death himself huddled under a thousand blankets on the couch). This is a perfectly normal thing to bring a sick person. She also brought a roll of toilet paper, decoratively posed in one of those fruit stand things you keep on the kitchen counter. The fruit stand was because my aunt is a shopoholic and whenever she starts running out of space in her house, she will helpfully foist last season's items on me (to be fair, this works out great for me a lot of the time; half my holiday decor was free to me through this method, and my kitchen is stocked with the ambition of someone who keeps promising to learn to cook despite never actually doing so). The TP is because apparently my grandmother decided to try a new, cushier brand and decided the whole family has to provide feedback before she officially makes the switch. I suspect this is also a little bit of leftover covid "white gold" mindset, toilet paper is top priority if anyone has any variety of illness. I am sharing this story because I started the fancy roll today and now I have to go call my grandmother to report back. I do feel like this all says a remarkable amount about my family, honestly.
