I love your analysis posts about the Naruto series in general. I always hated how people constantly defend fucking Itachi online and say Itachi was "a good big brother and a saint". No, he was an abusive bootlicker and a clown who killed his entire clan who only wanted to not be discriminated and treated like trash. Saying Itachi was a good brother is like saying Heihachi from Tekken was a "good father who wanted what's best for the world" and hating on his abuse victims like Kazuya for being an "ungrateful selfish bitch". Itachi being a good guy all along is bullshit, just like Heihachi suddenly being a secret good guy in Tekken 7. Also always hated how Kishimoto tried so hard to paint Konoha as the good guys when they clearly aren't lol (the main branch hyuga clan owning slaves, fucking up smaller villages like the Rain Village, the stupid villagers bullying and isolating Naruto, etc).
So first, sorry for the late reply!
While I can't comment on your comparison between Heihachi and Itachi since I'm not familiar with the Tekken franchise, I totally share your frustration relating to Itachi's portrayal and his fandom.
He could have been a nuanced character, but both Kishimoto and even the characters in the story are committed to uplift him as some sort of messiah. The fact that even as an adult, he doesn't feel any regrets about commiting a literal genocide against his own clan, even AFTER admitting Konoha and the Shinobi system in general are rotten, make it even harder to sympathize with him. :/
As for your last point, Konoha MUST be good within the series’ framework, because otherwise it would jeopardize Naruto's goal of becoming a military dictator Hokage, it would make him seem like a bad guy, and we can’t have that since he’s a Nekketsu Shonen protag, and all. /s

An actor of stage, television as well as movies does not keep this man busy enough he is also in a boy band ARASHI (since 1999) and he serves them as concert production since 2000 as well as other singers but mainly his own group. Also a concert director.
He has done several commercials as well including KFC JAPAN, NINTENDO, KIKKOMAN & HATACHI to name a few.
I came to know of Jun Matsumoto as Domyouji Tsukuba in the Hana Yori Dango Series and Movie Finale. He also took on the role a 4th time in a new generation version of the story called Hana Nochi Hare.
This guy has talent like crazy and very handsome. He doesn't seem to be stopping. Which his fans love I'm sure. And ARASHI is definitely fun to watch. They look like they're having so much fun. Plus the members of the group have also acted with him in movies and series.

Do you know another mentor character from another shonen nekketsu who would do a better teacher than Aizawa?
Honestly I don’t read/watch too much Shonan cause they don’t interest me. MHA was an exception because it also jumps into the superhero genre which is one of my favorites. However I will say that it isn’t hard to find a better teacher than Shota in any sort of media. For example, MCU Tony Stark, despite being ass at communication and letting a kid fight in a political war, is a better teacher than Shota because he actually judged Peter for his character rather than just his physical abilities and didn’t drop a building on his protégé. He seemed to try to actually teach a lesson by taking Peter’s suit and giving him the whole “if you’re nothing without the suit then you don’t deserve it” spiel after Peter arguably fucked up and put others in danger rather than let someone who was a clear danger to another person stick around. I think MCU Tony’s a cool character but I can admit that he isn’t the best teacher around. I wouldn’t even say he’s a good one cause he could’ve handled stuff much better in that regards. However, he’s leagues above Shota.

I don't get where we are going anymore and I am worried honestly... Hoping it's just a phase but in the same time it's still like... It's been a while it's happening now? 😭
I feel like shonen nekketsu from the jump almost all suffer from a curse where it's really good at the beginning and then it start to fall out... I didn't follow that many of them but it's the observation I make when I see other fandom and the few experience I had
This arc remember me what I felt when I watched the central arc in food wars right now
I can't give a global view of the shonen industry because I don't follow many mangas but I wonder if it has something to do with the editor or editorial politics.
i can’t believe that the same person who wrote Maki and Mai’s arc and Higuruma’s arc is the person writing this stupidity. Even vol 0 that was very generic has more dignity than this.
this definitely will be a thing because all this about usa will be an arc.

manga: Chainsaw man
