It's been a privilege to work on it, especially on the leader. The whole team absolutely killed it and gave their best to stick the landing 😤🔥

I feel like Keith and Lance are both ND but in different ways. Keith is the kind of guy who would really like physical contact and words of affirmation as love languages. He's pretty good at telling Lance how he feels about him later in the series. He'd probably appreciate the lack of ambiguity and take things at face value/put trust in I love yous.

Meanwhile Lance grew up in a big family so they might not have had as much money. Receiving gifts was a really big deal for him growing up. I can imagine Keith giving Lance a cool blue shell he found at an alien market and being all confused, thinking Lance doesn't like it when he goes still. Like he wants to take it back and is disappointed that Lance doesn't like it. But he does, he's just a bit overwhelmed by the gesture. Trying to show why he thought getting some silly shell was a good idea, Keith meekly tells him to look at this pretty part of it, turning it over in Lance's hands, pointing out an opalescent part that's all different kinds of blues. Says it reminds him of Lance's eyes.

Lance says something like "How would you know what colour my eyes are" because eye contact is not Keith's forte, but there's no bite behind it, and Keith doesn't get the joke anyway, just looks nervous. Keith just says they're pretty, as if he couldn't not have noticed. Lance puts it down on his side table gently. Keith says "You don't like it?" Lance gives him a super tender kiss. They kiss for a while holding each other, and Keith hugs him, sighing with contentment into lance's shoulder. Says "Holding you feels like home" then Lance dies on the spot

My favorite thing about Klance is imagining their extended family dynamics. Like obviously Shiro (+Adam) is Lance’s brother-in-law and Veronica is Keith's sister-in-law. But spiritually: Lance and Keith both agree that Hunk is their shared brother. Pidge is Keith's cousin through Shiro, making her Lance's cousin-in-law. Allura is Lance's cousin through Coran, making her Keith's cousin-in-law. Acxa is Lance's sister-in-law through Veronica, but she's also kind of his sister-in-law through Keith. Keith and Acxa are kind of siblings but Krolia is NOT Acxa's mother, she is Acxa's mother-in-law through Veronica-Lance. Romelle is Keith's sister through Krolia but Romelle is NOT Lance's sister-in-law (not until Romella and Allura get married, then Romelle becomes Lance's cousin-in-law. And then of course Allura becomes Keith's sister-in-law through Romelle). I should make a chart.

so. about a year ago i posted asking if anyone would be interested in watching me play a yuri visual novel, Aoi Shiro, on stream. it had a fan-translation back in like ~2010, and it's unique, you never see, like, supernatural action mystery yuri visual novels, and i had loved it so much when i played it years and years ago that i Desperately wanted to share it with others who like visual novels and wlw stories. then, an HD remaster, with english translation, was set to release, and I decided that instead i would just talk about it A Lot and maybe give away a couple copies.

well. the port is Bad. the translation being the main issue. so i just can't in good faith recommend it to people. or give away copies or anything. i cannot recommend people play Aoi Shiro that way.

so i'm considering this idea again. i have the files for the old fan translation. if any of you would be interested..... i honestly want to try streaming it, so people can finally experience this piece of yuri VN history without having to wade through the awful garbled 'english support' the remaster has.

would anyone be interested in this, potentially.....?

Takashi Shirogane deserves so much love

he deserves it all and im sick of people pretending like he doesnt. that man is so strong and resiliant and beautiful like WHAT. even if it wasn't confirmed that Shiro was gay and sick until like season five he still deserves love even before that. In season one, he was so truamatised and like just deserved rest but he fought and he won and he lived. And even after the whole clone thing ( which i do like to pretend never happened ), Shiro never blamed anyone for not figuring it out and he never, ever resented anyone for it. He's such a sweet soul, like hes so... human. He loves, Shiro is a pack person, he thrives around people. And when it was confirmed that he was gay and disabled?

EVEN BETTER. Sure, we only saw him with Adam for like four seconds and then this random throw away character, and sure, it was confirmed like a season before the show got kinda bad and then it ended, but it wasn't one of his defining traits. Shiro's defining traits were that he was kind and strong and a good leader and he was tired sure, but he lived. Shiro lived after everything he went through, all the confusion and the torture, and he deserved to. I love him and I'm sick of him, and Hunk and Pidge, being overshadowed in ships like Klance and Kallura. Give Shiro time so show you how amazing he is. Also, he is BEAUTIFUL. like WOW. GOD CRAFTED SPECIMEN. look at him:

"Of course," the edge of Adam's lip curled upward as he continued, "-if anything happens to her, I'm pretty sure I get exclusive custody rights over you." Keith huffed. "Yeah, unless my mom comes back." Adam paled. "Good point. I'm pretty sure I'd your mom could kick my ass." Keith laughed. Of course, that was totally dependent on whether or not his mom even remembered him still. He didn't even know anything about her, other than the fact that she was a member of the Blade of Marmora. Sam had theorized that she'd come to Earth on a scouting mission for the Blade originally- likely looking for the blue lion, but they didn't know for sure. He didn't even know if she'd ever even loved him. His dad always said she did, the few times he spoke of her- but he never knew if he could believe that. Although… Setting his can of coffee down, Keith unsheathed his knife. He must have meant something to her if she'd left this behind for him, right? "Thinking about her?" Adam asked. Keith hummed, holding up his knife so that he could see his reflection in it. "Kind of hard not to, these days." Adam said nothing, instead opting to silently ruffle his hair. Keith huffed, shoving his shoulder with his free hand- which just made Adam grin and bury his hand further in it. "You are so fuckin' obnoxious," Keith rolled his eyes. "Well Veronica's not here, so someone has to pick up the slack." Adam teased, withdrawing his hand. "You know," Keith grinned, "-I'm going to tell her you said that." "Oh, I know you will." Adam said. "I've come to expect this of you."
