HEY!! actually wrote these all out u can tell where i started going off of mostly appearance for these because i only really know a few qsmp characters help obviously not everyone but uhm. swagever (sorry for sending it to inbox it was too big to fit in the comments on that other post)

Tubbo: Groyvle (Frozen in time/Time related things. Looks like how I imagine her, I like the idea of him not being a fully evolved mon I think it oddly fits her)

Spreen: Hisuian Typhloshion!!!!! (Guy who is like darker colors and the ghost typing is such a cool like. hint towards his tragic fate of fucking dying. Plus works well with Fit and Ramon being normal types)

DanTDM: Shiny Sceptile (works mostly with my specific QSMP dragon lore but TLDR is that Tubbo and Dan are really similar genetics wise and look almost identical, but Dan's fully evolved while Tubbo hasn't really mastered it yet hence. Shiny Sceptile (which is more blue so its fitting)

Bad: Yveltal (Death vulture thing, Dark Type, God-related status, Immortal)

Jaiden: I know the obvious choice is like Chatot but. I like to think she'd be an Archeops I feel like she'd be a raptor of some kind and Archeops is like both that and a parrot it feels made for her…. SHE'D HAVE HER NORMAL COLORS THOUGH I THINK

Pac: Shiny Dusk Form Lycanrock: I like to think Q!Pac is some kind of shiba hybrid so he's GOTTA be a dog and Shiny Dusk Lycanrock is the EXACT colors

Fit: Ursaring because like. Look at it that's just him

Cellbit: Meowscarada this is another appearance based one but I REALLYYY like Meowscarada Cellbit its fun to me.

Roier: Midnight Lycanrock I like to think Roier is an African Wild Dog and I think it makes this guy fit him! Plus he's red and emo which is fitting i think

-The genus name for the Charizard line is Dracoaves igna, which roughly translates to Fire dragon-bird

-Charizard are some of the only Pokemon that are in the Draconidae family that aren't dragon types. Researchers are confused as to why they don't have the dragon typing, but they have the dormant genes needed for the dragon typing, which open up during mega evolution. Further research also shows they used to be dragon types in the ancient past

-Charizard have the appearance of dinosaurs, which are the ancestors of a lot of bird pokemon. But Charizard are more related to reptilian pokemon than dinosaur and other bird pokemon

-Charizard will lay charmander eggs in clutches, with only the mothers sticking around to care for them

-Despite their similar appearance, Charizards are not that closely related to Dragonites and are more closely related to Salamence, Sceptile, and Heliolisk

-Like most fire types, Charizard prefer to cook their food before eating it

Here's Ash's main team if Ash started in Kalos instead of Kanto. I swapped out Lycanroc for Krookodile because the Sandile line is in the Kalos Pokédex.

Ash and Serena go through Kalos, Hoenn, Galar, and possibly Paldea in this. As they are actual childhood friends in this what-if, AmourShipping is possible. Ash ended his run with seventy-eight Pokémon under his ownership. Obviously, that number will change here.

Clemont and Bonnie will be traveling with them through Kalos.

If I might trouble you, a review of my beloved treecko line? I fell in love with ashes grovyle and have never looked back

(Note: This is the last review request in the inbox right now. If anyone has a request, now's the time to send it in; otherwise, I might just randomly generate some Pokemon to review or something.)

Back before we got starters with super specific themes, we got the occasional starter that was just a really nicely designed animal with a type applied, as is the case with the Treecko line here. I don't mind either method, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for starters that are just cool monsters, and this line delivers. Or maybe I'm just biased because I like geckos. Who knows.

Anyway, Treecko's design is solid. The leafy tail is nothing special, but I like how it curls a bit at the end for some extra flair. The reptilian eyes are always appreciated, and that red underbelly is to die for.

My only real issue with it—and this is minor, mind you—is that the snout always looked weirdly bulbous to me, having a distinctive nose instead of the head just narrowing into a snout like its evolutions. It by no means ruins the design for me, but it sticks out never-the-less. Also, that line on the underbelly serves no purpose (other to tie it into its evos more I guess, which really isn't needed anyway). For the most part however, this design is really solid.

Also, side note: was anyone gonna tell me that Treecko's shiny is beautiful or did I just have to find that out myself?

I have to admit, I always liked Grovyle more than Sceptile (and no, it has nothing to do with the anime or PMD). I'll get into it more when we get to Sceptile, but I just feel like Grovyle's design is much more streamlined and visually striking.

I love the flow of the leaves on the head and tail; it looks like some kind of feathered raptor, which is an aesthetic I'm always down for. Plus the red underbelly still looks great, and adds some much needed color to the design. Mostly importantly, it fits and transitions between Treecko and Sceptile well while still having its own unique flair, which is something many other starter middle evos fail at.

Also, sometimes it's drawn in this really funky way that gives it a longer face and longer leaves, which frankly I'm a big fan of:

I only have two small complaints, both of which are nitpicks. First, once again, that underbelly stripe isn't needed, seemingly only existing for the sake of the final evo. And secondly, I wouldn't have minded seeing three leaves on the tail, seeing as Treecko has two, Sceptile has A Lot, and Grovyle's arms already have three anyway. But those are minor; at the end of the day, while the entire line's good, Grovyle is by far the standout member of the line.

While we unfortunately lose a bit of the dinosaur look with Sceptile, I do like the overall design a lot. The laid-back expression is a nice change of pace from the standard angry expression most final evos sport, and you can't really go wrong with a bipedal lizard dinosaur with leaves. Overall, it's quite nice.

However, I do feel like there are a few elements in the design that could've been refined a bit more, as well as a few things that feel like downgrades from Grovyle.

First: That random V-shaped line on the torso. Why is that there, exactly? If it was a red stripe you could make the second red stripe a V as well and have some parallel elements, but instead it's just There for no reason.

Secondly, the colors. Unlike on Grovyle, the leaves on the wrists are the same color as the body, while the tail leaves remain different. Why...? Same thing with the hind claws; why are they the same green as the body, instead of being yellow, a color already in the design anyway (all-green could work if they just didn't have the dividing line, like on the hands)? Even just the way the red reduces; I loved the red, and I feel like more of it could've been incorporated into this design without needing to really change much.

Also, the tail always felt a bit too overly-detailed to me, at least compared to the body; maybe if the wrist leaves had the same "double" look it wouldn't feel so off-balanced.

And finally, I don't know if this is just me, but the placement of the seed pods always felt weird. Why not put them on the tail, seeing as that's where the leaves are? They just feel kind of pointless as-is, even if I like the additional yellow. Like I said, the design is solid as a whole, but these little elements make me prefer Grovyle's design just a bit more.

The mega kind of fixes some of the stuff that bugs me about regular Sceptile, but it also has some elements that don't quite work.

First, more red is very much appreciated. And secondly, I love how the tail can be shot like a missile, as a nod to how IRL geckos can perform autotomy and drop their tails if needed. This also has the added bonus of making the seed pods feel much more purposeful, as they now visually lead up to the tail and serve as indicators of how close the "missile" is to firing. Super cool, love it.

However, like a lot of megas, it feels like a lot of design elements were changed just Because. For example, those random chunks taken out of the head and arm leaves; I guess it's supposed to look battle-worn, but that doesn't work unless the damage is from it battling a hole punch. Same goes for the X-shaped leaves on the chest; it's different, but not better, and it doesn't enhance the design at all. Sometimes, less is more, and the changes to the tail and the extra red feel like they're more than enough to cary the design as-is.

Also, while I like the idea of the tail stripes a lot, something about it bugs me visually. I think it's because the back stripe leads the eye down and through to the tail; except this flow is then abruptly cut-off by the horizontal stripes, creating a bit of tension. I feel like either the back stripe should've just gone straight down the tail, with the stripes being added to the underbelly from the front (seeing as that's where they were to begin with), or the back stripe should've been dropped in favor of keeping the tail stripes. Regardless, those two elements are good separately, but don't quite work together.

In other words, it's a good design, but it's brought down a bit by unnecessary details and changes that don't serve a purpose.

So as a whole, I'd say that this is a great starter line, and one of my personal favorites. Treecko is lovely, and Grovyle is definitely the best of the line. Sceptile is good but a little bit of a downgrade, and while the mega brings more of a concept and cohesion to the design, it's also a bit over-cluttered. Regardless, these are some excellent geckos.

BLEASE elaborate on lloyd's team!!! (and. huh. fairy-types are the usual counter to dragon-types, nowadays, since ice-types tend to keel over from a flamethrower. why is sora a fairy-type specialist when her mo seems to be protecting dragons at all costs?)

DUDE i’d love to elaborate on lloyd’s team!! its probably the team where i have the most thought on each individual choice LMAO so its the most interesting

- Gallade is Lloyd’s starter, and i think they’re the combo i’ve consistently drawn the most together, lmao. Ralts is a small pokemon with a green bowl cut, so i like the image of itty bitty baby lloyd running around with his ralts and causing trouble, and the two growing up and maturing with each other. also gallade is a sword pokemon, and lloyd is a sword guy. also also gallade just feels like a transmasc pokemon to me . yeah.

- Haxorus is Lloyd’s second pokemon! admittedly haxorus is here because unova is my first and favorite gen. this is a common reason why i choose pokemon actually. but haxorus is also a green dragon pokemon! and it’s shiny form is black… which is a color associated with lloyd’s dad….. my thought is that in between s2 and s3 Garmadon gives Lloyd an egg from his haxorus, and it hatches into an axew that lloyd makes part of his team

- Togekiss is the third! i have a fic outline (that will likely never get written anytime soon, or at all) about this baby, but basically. after s5, Lloyd would have trouble taking care of himself, because of s5. so he’s gifted an egg that hatches into a togepi, and he relearns how to take care of himself for this togepi! i also like the idea of togepi refusing to evolve for a long time — she only evolves into a togetic during s9, and a togekiss sometime after s10. stubborn queen <3

- Sceptile is number four! Lloyd catches him as a grovyle between s7 and s8, and he evolves a season later. ok girl. sceptile is here because he’s green and reptile like, and also because his mega evolution has a secondary dragon type! (and is also the coolest mega of the hoenn starters, who said that? anyway) also. maybe also the blade aesthetic? sceptile can know leaf blade right?

- Whimsicott is number five! all of the ninja have a surprise pokemon added to their team for s11, and whimsicott is that surprise pokemon! i have the weakest reason for why whimsicott is here, he’s green and i like him! (and “energy” or “life” might could probably be argued as reasons for giving lloyd another grass type?) tho i like the suggestion that whimsicott’s here because he looks like a pillow mint, haha

and admittedly, a lot of my teams are chosen for pretty surface-level reasons — initially i just had one pokemon for sora, just like arin’s one pokemon, and it was Sylveon. because sylveon matches her colors really strongly, and is a catlike pokemon heavily associated with the colors of the trans flag — it just felt like they fit! dedenne i added last minute because i wanted to pull in something from her being a mechanic and to match sylveon’s typing, so it felt really good!

ur not the first person to point this out, you’re right!! i think some dragon pokemon on her team would make sense too — my thoughts for candidates would be altaria, the goomy line, or dratini/dragonair. i feel like she’d go for more cutesy pokemon, but idk, thats usually the pokes i go for too

Clone Wars/Prequel Characters + Partner Pokémon

Screw it, I’m gonna do this. Gonna break this down by different star wars properties so this post doesn’t climb into the stratosphere...

Anakin + Talonflame - Everything about Anakin screams fire type to me. I can just see baby Anakin learning to podrace with an enthusiastic fletchling trying to keep up. A talonflame racing alongside his jedi starfighter would be sick as hell. Sadly, this pokemon would probably die in his transformation into Darth Vader, but I’ll deal with that later...

Padme + Ninetales - I almost said milotic here, but I think Padme’s got some spirit to her that matches a ninetales. All pretty and elegant (a ninetales would compliment her wardrobe nicely), and vulpix could be common enough that her handmaidens could all have one. Also a fire type to match Anakin :)

Obi-Wan + Gardevoir - Gardevoir just screams “so uncivilized” to me, it’d fit his vibe. Obi-Wan, as The Negotiator, strikes me as the type to have a fairy type. Something classy, maybe cute, but it can KICK ASS when the cards are down

Ahsoka + Grovyle (later Sceptile) - It’s all in the dual-wielding, baby. I think back to Gen 3/Advanced Battle when grovyle would use leaf blade like Ahsoka’s reverse grip. It could evolve later when she gets her white sabers in Rebels, showing how she’s come into her own since leaving the Order

Rex + Shiny Nidoking - Old school clone needs an old school king. He strikes me as the more grounded heh counterpart to Anakin’s high-flying antics, but he’s got the cunning to utilize a poison type well. A shiny to match the 501st, of course

Qui-Gon + Sawsbuck - He’s got grass type energy to me, and it matches his lightsaber. Also, his “go with the Force” vibes fit how sawsbuck changes with the seasons

Plo Koon + Noivern - This is one part “he would totally have a big softie of a pokemon” and one part “great pilot needs a great flying type”. You know this thing would dote on Ahsoka’s grovyle like how Plo dotes on her

Yoda + Kecleon - It just kinda fits. It’s a pokemon that I can see him taking to the Council but also thriving on Dagobah later down the line. It’s deceptively good in battle for looking like a funky little lizard

Wolffe + Lycanroc (midday form) - I mean, this one explains itself. Woof woof

Ventress + Weavile - Another aesthetic choice with this one. It wouldn’t be her original partner Pokémon but one she gained after starting her training with Dooku. Ice type just feels right for her and she can freeze opponents when she runs away

Greivous + Aegislash - A FINE ADDITION TO MY COLLECTION. Seriously though, a steel type that is a sword just... it fits too good

Count Dooku + Roserade - A Pokemon that’s got that regal drip but can also drag your ass. Dooku would have raised this guy from his jedi days and stayed with it when he left the Order. Maybe it wouldn’t have evolved until after he left, representing his rebirth as a sith

Maul + Banette - The man that refuses to die needs a ghost type. Also, the pokedex states that banettes are pokemon that were cast aside and now come back with a vengeance. Sound familiar?

Palpatine + Persian - Definitely referencing Giovanni with this one. But, also, I think Peepaw Palps would probably have a really unassuming normal type while doing his whole chancellor thing. With Order 66, I’d imagine that this persian would die/be removed in some capacity. Then, I’d give him Darkrai

Satine + Milotic - The elegance and outwardly gentle nature of a milotic fits. Milotics are real dangerous in battle, but I can see Satine raising one as a statement about her pacifist ideals. Deliberately choosing not to fight with one hell of a water type. They’ve kicked my ass before so that informed this decision

Hondo + Sableye - Got that cunning of a dark type with an eye for PROFIT! Would definitely discover mega-evolution by accident

Jar Jar + Magikarp - C’mon. Them both being aquatic beings helps too

Note: The Bad Batch will have their own list. I’ll put Echo in both lists. Maybe I’ll have to make a clone list because... gee whiz there’s a lot of them

So continuing on from last time is my RWBY Pokémon Trainer AU ideas for the main cast so here is Team JNR with inclusions from Penny and Pyrrha. As a reminder these include Megas from Pokemon Insurgence, my favourite fan game. This is likely to be my last post on this au because I don’t want want to spend too much time on it honestly.

Jaune’s Team:

1. Mareep, a pokemon that Jaune was friends with on his farm. A gentle and somewhat cowardly Pokémon unused to battling at first. Grows into it’s own and becomes a Flaafy to help Jaune against the Ursa that attacks Cardin, evolves again into Ampharos during the fight against Cinder in Vol 5. Is given a mega stone by Saffron

2. Bouffalant, a wild hearted Pokémon from Jaune’s farm who sees battle as playtime and gets in a huff if it loses.

3. Skorupi, a pokemon rescued by Jaune during the Forest trials in Vol 1. Very loyal if a bit of a punk. Evolves into Drapion against the Nuckalevee (or whatever it’s called) to pin it’s arms down.

4. Aegislash (Shiny), a pokemon left to Jaune by Pyrrha in her passing. A loyal butler who looks after Jaune in his despair even though it’s own heart is broken.

5. Buneary, another Pokémon left to Jaune by Pyrrha. Originally a promotional pokemon given to her for Pumpkin Pete’s so their relationship was somewhat distant, however it shed tears at the Pyrrha memorial with Jaune and evolved into a Lopunny. The milfs of Mantle gifted Jaune a mega stone for it.

6. Magearna, Penny’s sole partner, a quiet pokemon to balance Penny’s excited nature and helped her mind her manners. Was given to Jaune to ensure it was not stolen by Cinder at the end of Volume 8.

Nora’s Team:

1. Pachirisu (Shiny), her first Pokémon even before she had pokeballs for it. Helped her find food when she was homeless. Weirdly a big sister figure to Nora that looked after her before she met Ren but is also a chaos gremlin like Nora.

2. Druddigon, caught before Vol 1. Nora states she wrestled it into submission with her bare arms, Ren says it was only an arm wrestle. Very proud dudette.

3. Galarian Ponyta, caught in the Forever Fall forest. Was drawn to the honey gathered and went to Nora as she was covered in the stuff. Evolves into Rapidash in the Vytal Festival battle tournament.

4. Chinchou, caught in the away mission in Vol 2, a shy Pokémon that grows in confidence over the course of the show. Evolves into Lanturn after receiving power from other electric Pokémon during the stealth mission in the Atlas Military Base.

5. Pawniard, Pyrrha’s pokemon left to Nora. A silent and distant Pokémon, it starts out ignoring Nora’s orders as it hasn’t moved on from Pyrrha’s death. Comes around when Nora is almost killed by Hazel at Haven Academy. Evolves into Bisharp when sparring with Neon Katt out of pure annoyance. While Nora never goes to Ever After, Jaune will find the Mega Stone for it and keep it as it reminds him of Pyrrha.

6. Galarian Zapdos, a pokemon that Nora fights and loses to during her journey of self-discovery (whenever that happens). She later rebattles it and catches it. It respects her fighting spirit and will step out of line to snap her out of any funks.

Ren’s Team:

1. Treeko, his starter and partner from Kuroyuri. A Pokémon similar to Ren but more open about it’s feelings and tries to get Ren to do the same. Meditates a lot. Evolves into Grovyle against the scorpion Grimm in the Forest Trial and again into the Sceptile in the fight against the Geist in Vol 4. Ren finds a mega stone for it in the ruins of his old house when he returns.

2. Gallade, his father’s Pokémon that fled with Ren, Nora and their pokemon when Kuroyuri was attacked. It is a strict and hardened Pokémon that demands a lot of training from the two orphans but does care, just has trouble showing it due to it’s trauma. Ren will receive a mega stone for it from Nora as a gift at Atlas when they start being together-together.

3. Kabuto, a fossil given to him by Glynda and revived by Oobleck. A cautious Pokémon that’s most comfortable in water rather than on land. Evolves into Kabutops against Tyrian.

4. Hisuian Arcanine, Pyrrha’s pokemon given to Ren. A calm and compassionate Pokémon that understands Pyrrha’s sacrifice and tries to help the others with the loss. Was given to Ren as a sign of Pyrrha’s respect for her fellow Mistralan.

5. Flygon, his mother’s. A Pokémon that had been tracking and fighting the Nuckalevee for many years after the attack on Kuroyuri. Initially attacks Ren and co when they find it but it eventually recognises his scent and the two work together to bring down the wacky wavy inflatable tube Grimm. Similar to Nora, Ren doesn’t go to the Ever After, however Jaune does find a mega stone for it and keeps it as the colours remind him of Ren and Nora.

6. Piplup, a proud little fella who picked a fight with Ren for stepping on it’s berry. The pride increases when it becomes Prinplup after some training montage shenanigans. However it becomes humble and evolves into Empoleon to defend Ren, Jaune and Yang from the Grimm horde that follow them on their chase to save Oscar.

A cursory sprite repainting has taught me the following about the Treecko line's shinies:

Sceptile's leaves absolutely should be red like the rest of the line.

A mint green skin tone (Grovyle in Gen IV) is superior to the original odd cyan (Gen III).

Shiny > Normal for countershading.

The eyes need to be less orangey.

Ways to improve Sceptile: have head look more like an evolution of Grovyle's, get rid of the back nodules, make arm leaves cooler (maybe like Gallade's blades), give narrower hips (to emphasize agility).

Treecko is awful, but I already knew this.

Tiers in Pokemon are so fucking fake like they created an entire new tier after the release of ORAS because mega rayquaza was JUST that OP and most legendary Pokemon find themselves in the “Uber” tier with a handful of mega evolutions and then Aegislash and Blaziken for some reason, but the “Uber” tier is also fake because mega metagross is on there but regular metagross isn’t and I beat a mega metagross that was over 10 levels stronger than me in ORAS with my regular metagross because Steven is an idiot and I had Earthquake

I think that the shiny design for Sceptile is the best designed of this evolutionary line. I think that the dark aqua/teal looks very nice on the design, and works much better with the rusty red detail color. It gives the Pokémon a completely different feel from the original, which I think makes for the best shiny designs.

For my version of Sceptile, I went with an even more orange/pink version of the golden color for the main body, with a similar pale reddish pink for the accent colors. I think that it also gives Sceptile a completely different feel from the original, and from the original shiny, which I think makes a success for my redesign.

Hello again I'm the 9th best chojin and since childhood I've been an absolutely massive fan of Pokémon ever since I watched Ash Ketchum journey across the land I also wanted to go on a Pokémon journey and one birth day my dad brought me into a GameStop and there it was on the Gameboy shelf a green game with a badass dragon the cover Pokémon emerald was my first game and since then I've played every gen but I've spent enough time on the intro so let me tell you about my favorite Pokémon from every gen 

Gen 1 Slowbro

So out of every mon from the original 151 why Slowbro why not charizard or nidoking well its simple I like his dopey smile...yep that's it sure alot of cool Pokémon exist but a good cute boi every now and then is all I need plus he has that cool ass shellder tail sure it doesn't really look like a shellder but if you squint step back 3 feet tilt your head and ignore the fact that the shellder on its tail was its own Pokémon seprate from shellder till it got cut part way through development and gamefreak were to lazy to redesign so its a shellder now it then yea it looks just like a shellder plus its got some damn good stats and the coveted psychic type that dominated gen 1 that make it worth the wait till the second to last gym in my opinion

Gen 2 Crobat

with the creation of gen 2 there was a bunch of evolutions and pre-evolutions for gen 1 added to the game and while some of these were done to add new types to old Pokémon like syther into scissor and onyix into steelix other Pokémon wee given new evos to make them better crobat is one of these Pokémon golbat isn't terrible but crobat is a whole other beast with a much better speed stat there isn't a hell of a lot out speeding him plus getting one is super easy even with zubats lowered encounter rate in gen 2 its not terribly hard to get one then you just gotta get him up to level 22 and then use the power of friendship to evolve him into crobat friendship evos are annoying most of the time but for crobat its worth it know some of you are probably wondering why crobat? he,s only pseudo gen 2 mon why not a pokemon introduced in gen 2 and id agree with you if only they let you use more then half the Johto dex before the post game

Gen 3 Sceptile

Now if you have the memory capacity to remember the intro then you know emerald was my first game and yes this is a case of this was my first Pokémon so I have an emotional attachment to it and every time I play trough Hoenn I always pick treecko even recently when I decided to play through oras again soft reset for an entire day so I could play through the game with a shiny treecko it may not be the best Pokémon ever but I still love it and no matter how many times I play through Hoenn ill always pick treecko 

Gen 4 Froslass

when new giving new evos to old Pokémon your kinda putting every new pokemon at a disadvantage since this a new thing for a Pokémon their already familiar unless you fuck up really hard and make lickylicky but thankfully gamefreak didn't fuck up giving my second favorite Hoenn mon a female exclusive evolution giving it 2 immunities in exchange for a new ghost type weakness by giving it the ghost typing and giving it a cool design based off a geisha and yuki onna makes this one mon that I don't mind waiting till the 7th badge to get

Gen 5 Darmanitan

This one was kinda hard tbh because despite the fandom consensus the unova dex has some bangers haxsaurus samurott braviary but out of the sizable chunk of Unova mons I like there's only one who can be my favorite and that has to be darmanitan he’s so cool having the origin of a Pokémon designer going to an end of year party and seeing a daruma doll burning in a fire and saying *imma a make a fucking Pokémon outta that* AND IT FUCKING WORKED! this bastard does two things be fast and hit shit and it does that like a fucking G also it has a zen mode and that's ok coulda been done better AND THEN IT WAS because with regional variants being a thing now they made darmanitan British and an ice type and made him hit shit harder because his zen mode doesn't make him a special attacker but all things considered I prefer original recipe Unovan darmanitan because I like its design more yep simple as that tho I cant like Galarian darmanitan does have a funky afro

Gen 6 Greninja

If you know my thoughts gen 6 you know its not positive but I cant deny its got a decent pokedex and whos the best Pokémon of this dex? its a cool frog ninja based off Jiraiya from the romance of the 3 kingdoms or if you're uncultured Naruto but unlike Naruto greninja doesn't run after some emo for 500 plus episodes but he does get a pseudo mega in the anime later the games and its a cool form imo he’s fast he’s strong got cool design with a cool origin and I don't need much else 

Gen 7 Minior

Now let me start with this I'm perfectly ok with minior not being a pre-evo for solrock and lunatone just because two Pokémon have the design origin doesn't mean they should be related maybe a tangential relation from pokedex entries but I don't think they should be part of the same line now with that out of the way let me tell you why minior is great first off its meteor form looks so cool it looks like a Pokémon that would be used by the goron from the legend of Zelda it its meteor form isnt al it has since its gimmick is that once it hits half health it *casts off* and takes off its shell and two things about this form 1 look at his lil face cute mans 2 look at his speed and attack boost dangerous mans all that plus its colour gimmick making it so I can get it in orange and how can I not love it

Gen 8 Perrserker

so here we are the most recent gen and I can say without a word of doubt gen 8 has one the most solid pokedexs in years I love most Pokémon and sorta just tolerate others but out of all these Pokémon I love perrserker the most ever since I ran into it as a Galarian meowth I was kinda shocked it looked like some thing that would shit in your shoes and take pride in it I had to catch it and after evolving it it keeps that same energy but now slightly taller perrserker is a great mon with a great hidden ability steely spirit which I lovingly call communist steel worker making it onto most of my galar teams what can I say I love this 3 foot tall Viking gremlin and altho gen 8 is still relatively new I can confidently say perrserker will say my favorite 

so that's it my favorite Pokémon of every generation I've loved Pokémon for the grand majority of my life and I hope to love it in the future and cant wait to see what Pokémon from gen 9 will join the ranks of my favorites in a few years time and with that thank you for reading and I hope to see you again in the future

(still has his bodyguard thou), mother has been missing for over a year now
