All the Shiny Pokemon I own

In all the Pokemon games I’ve played, I have four Shiny Pokemon.

The first one I caught was a Shiny Wingull in Pokemon Sun. Her name is Gullishinyia. Just for the sake of having a fully evolved Shiny, I grinded her up to a Pelipper. This also had the side effect of making the Pelipper in my Alolan Pokedex a Shiny. Her ability is Keen Eye (though it could have also been Drizzle given how that was a second ability Pelipper can have starting in Gen 7, which the Alola games are a part of), I caught her in a Timer Ball, her Nature is Quiet (which raises her Special Attack at the cost of Speed and makes her like dry food but dislike sweet food), I met her on the 5th of March 2017 at Brooklet Hill (she was Level 15 at the time), and her Characteristic (which shows which stat she has the highest IVs in, though it could still be rather low) is “Somewhat vain”, showing that Special Defense is the stat she has the highest IVs in. She was caught with the full (Gen 6 onward) Shiny odds of 1/4096.

The second one I obtained was from the Odd Egg that’s exclusive to Pokemon Crystal, which I own via 3DS Virtual Console. It can hatch into a variety of Gen 2 baby Pokemon that have a higher than normal chance to be Shiny. I was hoping to get an Electabuzz in Kanto, but since it hatched into a Shiny Elekid, my plans were accelerated. The Odd Egg hatches into a female Pokemon unless it hatches into a Tyrogue because they’re always male. I named her Shiny Girl. Currently, her moves are Thunderbolt (with a PP Up applied to it), Thunder Punch, Dizzy Punch (which the Pokemon in the Odd Egg always hatches knowing), and Swift.

The third one I obtained (the second I CAUGHT) was the guaranteed Shiny Gyarados that I needed to encounter in Crystal to continue the storyline. I named him Red Star as a Communist joke. I haven’t used him for anything, so he’s still Level 30 and still knows Thrash, Bite, Dragon Rage, and Leer.

The final one (which is the fourth one I OBTAINED but the third one I CAUGHT) is a full (pre-Gen 6) odds Shiny Sandslash I found while grinding for the Elite Four. His name is “SHINY!!!” because I feel that a full 1/8192 odds Shiny justifies the all caps and three exclamation marks. I haven’t used him for anything because I already had a normal Sandslash on my team that I caught when he was a Sandshrew (and the system of stat experience in Gen 1 and Gen 2 that was replaced by the modern EVs system in Gen 3 onward means that the stats of the one I’m using are superior in every way, though that may just be because the non-Shiny one has a higher level).

in character blog !! i basically pretend to be a character in the pokemon universe, so blanket unreality warning !!! this is also a main / sister blog of sorts to @fairyofkalos ( same rules specified ) , in which their universes are connected and there will be many references to eachother in both blogs <3 i may be more active on here in comparison to @/fairyofkalos , so fair warning !!

i don’t interact with proshippers / comshippers , zionists , terfs , and anyone that applies in the usual dni criteria ^_^ i will also block freely if you weird me out and make me uncomfortable ! though , i do prefer interactions with muns who are also in the same age range as i am !!

diwata is literally my pokétrainer sona , so please be respectful ! i don't condone death threats or hate of any sort even if in character , since it makes me uncomfortable !! oh also , despite him being my sona , his actions or thought process do not reflect me ( the mun !! ) as a person 😞 he is still removed from me as character !

i use fake regions in place for the real countries , and i might mention a few fakemon as well !

this blog treats pokémon like animals ( that just so happen to have supernatural capabilties and are also able to understand human speech ) , since they're essentially the animals of this world despite having a penchant for battling and being — y'know , pokémon ! pokémon are also commonly eaten here on this blog ^_^💧

interactions with eebydeebies and sapient / sentinet mons are verrry dependent and selective , so i apologize in advance !! </3

i also hc that domesticated pokémon are trained to have their moves be less lethal in battles than if they were to give it their all like they were fighting for survival , for obvious ethical reasons . this is why pokémon simply faint in battle instead of just dying from the attacks and how their trainers don't get caught up in the crossfire . 'mons that have fainted aren't necessarily unconscious , but merely don't have the energy , ability , etc to continue battling , which is shown in the anime . battles aren't supposed to be deadly , but can definitely shift that way if not careful

( + ) " revivals " are temporary solutions for when a 'mon faints , but a trainer should always check in to the nearest pokémon center after a battle regardless

levels aren't really a thing on the blog and aren't needed in order for pokémon to evolve ! i don't consider " HP " to really be a thing either , other than just a marker to determine how close your mon is to fainting :P natures and characteristics mean nothing to me >:3c

i’m aware that the pokémon universe and rotomblr have this sort of — weird space time continuum and multiverse , so !!! 0_0 my blog won’t have too many weird timeline hijinks for the most part other than a few brief mentions / incidents , since i just assume everyone lives in the same universe - ish !! if i interact with two different blogs that just so happen to rp the same character , i wont mention any past rps that they werent apart of since !! different portrayal !!! since diwata is my sona , he'll still age with me ^_^

this blog is just for being silly and some comforting escapism , so be nice :3

Would it be cool if all darkwing duck characters have pokemon teams?

Oh yes! There's so many varieties and species that everyone has the potential to pull off a full six slot theme team or something that makes sense in thier aesthetics. Heck, if QuackerJack actually eased up on the hate train for gaming in general, I can think of a fair selection of 'mons that fit his style and interests that he'd probably begrudgingly agree are pretty darn cool.

#QuackerJack would look at Banette and immediately start sympathizing for the abandoned doll backstory and want five of them #Darkwing would absolutely have a Honchcrow because yes #Gosalyn would totally be down to put a Pasimian on her team #If Megavolt doesn't vibe with the electric rodents and adopt a Rotom I will eat my hat #Liquidator can carry around water Pokémon with him without pokeballs #Bushroot absolutely would love the plant pokemon and I feel like Phantump would be his fave and I won't elaborate #Negaduck would get a shiny Honchcrow just out of spite #Launchpad would definitely get a Pelipper some matching goggles and a scarf
