Quick TCF NRC dorms post! Lock is very much a member of Savanaclaw (not just because he's a Beast man/ Beast person) BUT he also has traits of Pomefiore and Scarabia.

Lock is determined and focused on the Wolf Children, but also the rest of the TCF gang. Yes, he may seem naive and innocent in the beginning of the novel, but he learns to stand his ground and speak up for himself. (Savanaclaw, Pomefiore)

He trains hard to protect his loved ones and does his best, even if he's doubting himself. At the Battle at the Gorge of Death, he pushed past his doubts and fears to go Beserk in order to protect Cale and Raon. He trains with Lord Sherritt to learn Shield Arts to better protect everyone and to have another tool to rely on besides his body. (Pomefiore, Scarabia, Savanaclaw)

Not to mention that he's technically in a position of leadership, at least for the Wolf Children. Yes, he has everyone else to rely on right now, but he's still gotta show the children how to grow up properly and when he's ready, he'll be the new Wolf King.

And the fact that he's 13 when the novel starts and only 15 now??? Like guys, he's a teenager, basically a sophomore. Yet he's dealing with the loss of his home and family, being involved in a war, and facing countless dangers, and he's dealing with it well.

Lock's a tough, caring, and sweet kid.

Amy being a ceramist hc’s

• Despises porcelain with every atom in her fucking body. As pretty as it is, she cannot bring herself to work with it, rather preferring stoneware/red clay.

• Quiet Anger. Sometimes clay can be tricky, like when you’re trying to get some to stick to the bat but it won’t or it’s ungodly sticky and takes the bat off the wheel with it. Usually she’ll just laugh it off cause the image of it she knows probably looks ridiculous. Still ticks her off a bit though.

• It can also work as an emotional outlet for her in a number of ways, similarly to yoga. Somewhere she can put herself and the situation into perspective and rationalize things.

• A lot of inspiration for her style of works comes from the ceramic artists I follow on YouTube and my ceramic teacher/the student in the from school.

Her form style is heavily influenced by Floridian Gadsby, glazing style very much based on the same artist with more differentiation in colors, although if she’s doing designs or gifts for loved ones/things meant to be gift to loved ones, it’s very much based on Shelby Sherritt’s styles.

• Because ceramic ware gets as hot as it does, she has a set of gloves dedicated to removing finished pieces from the kiln. The lid’s are very scratchy so she’ll use a grinding paste to make it not assault your ears whenever you put the lid of a piece on.

• Her studio is meticulously tidy. Everything has its place and nothing is ever not put back in it’s place after use.

• Jake and Nog are the only two who are allowed in her studio while she’s working. They have special boyfriend privileges. Although her one big rule is not to touch the kiln when it’s on or if she isn’t there,

• A later exception to this is that as of season 7, Nog is the only other person she trusts to be able to unload the kiln should she not be there. If she’s got multiple things that need to be done and the guys are over, she usually lets Jake handle glazing and Nog handle the kiln if both are needed to be done at the same time

• Jake once poked at the idea of reenacting that one scene from Ghost. Amy’s immediate reaction was that it would make a mess if they did, but she still thinks about it sometimes.

• During the time in which Nog is on restricted hours after Paper Moon, I like to think he’d spend a lot of his non-working hours with her and Jake. The three of them get gathered in her studio just having light hearted banter while she works or just goofing around with the clay.

Or when Jake is busy with something or other, he’ll slip in while Amy’s working and kind of wrap around/drape himself over her. Like he did this before back in season five but it was a more odd occasion thing, in seasons six and seven especially, it becomes more common place. A little way to relax.

• Whenever she is (for lack of a better term) going through it, ex; during Paper Moon or after her brothers disappearance/assimilation, she uses her work as an escape, something to put her at ease when she’s dealing with a situation where in the past she reacted in a way that perpetuated problems for her.

The same goes for her overall schedule, she keeps to it with the promise (wether to herself or her family or her friends) that she isn’t going to loose track of taking care of herself as easily as she did before as she’s aware of the rabbit hole that leads her down.

• And to top it off on a more light hearted note, the art of recycling clay is the butt of many a “that’s what good pussy sounds like” joke between her Nog and Jake because of the way that stuff sounds when you put it out to dry. Like yes they’re in their twenties, they still make those sorts of jokes. They all know it’s stupid, but they still make the jokes.

It is also pointed out that running rights must Inevitably be required by the Canadian Pacific Railway into Churchill in the near future. Control here would eliminate costly and unnecessary complications. 

In further consideration of northern development It was decided to ask the government of Manitoba to open the Carrot River Valley, adjacent to The Pas, for settlement. There are 800,000 acres of arable land in that district.

Age Swap! Cale and Raon.

Once upon a time, There is a Little Weak Human who is as stoic as a statue and fragile as a doll. One day, The Little Human wondered deep into the forest that he lost his way home. Luckily, he found a Great and Mighty Dragon that could help Him if he wanted to. So, the Human approached the Dragon. The Great and Mighty Dragon was shocked upon seeing the Human. The Human was so little and weak, compared to him, a Big, Strong, and Mighty Dragon. Looking at the Human upclose, It's clear the Human was sick, he was too pale, not to mention he was shivering a little bit. Being the Kind Hearted Dragon that he is, he planned to brought the human home (Kidnap) to heal him.

Once The Mighty Dragon grabbed him, He suddenly realized that the Human was so light. He started to question himself.

- How can a human be so light?? Does his family even feed him at all??

(It reminds him of when he was being tortured by those people. It angered him inside).

The Great and Mighty Dragon then make sure to feed him a lot of food and give him comfortable and warm clothes once they reach his Castle.

After a week of taking care of the human, The Mighty Dragon learnt that The Little Human is a troublesome child. HE was TOO IGNORANT for his own well being that it angered the Dragon sometimes.

The Little Human once tripped over a rock and said he was fine and that it's just a rock.

- Is he crazy?!

A rock won't hurt a Mighty Dragon, But it will hurt the Little Human!!

HE'S TOO WEAK!! A ROCK JUST INJURED HIS LEG!! Look at him, His leg is BLEEDING!!

Fearing that The Little Human will get injured by a rock again, The Great and Mighty Dragon swore to destroy all the rocks around his home, so the rocks won't hurt his Little Human again. Once the Human got better, It's time for The Little Human to go home.

And The Mighty Dragon followed him because what will the Human do without him?? The Little Human can't take care of himself!!

Funfact : The reason why Raon looks like Cale is because he wanted to look like the Little Human so that everyone recognize that He is Cale's father figure. :DDD Also, Not knowing how to raise a Child, moreover a Human Child, He asked his Mother, Lord Sherritt. They do create destruction around though.
