The copy of the Goetia I use the most
I talk a lot about what my favorite copy of the Goetia is, but it's not the copy I use the most. The copy I use the most is here and it's been there since the 90s. The code has never been updated. It looks like a GeoCities page. And I appreciate its fast load time, consistency, and lack of inline seals. It is the most dependable version of the book I can find, as it is always there and can be loaded on the slowest of devices and connections. I don't need to put rocks on it to hold it open. I can text search the whole thing at once for any term. I can make the text bigger. The pages don't get stuck together and there's no app for me to juggle. I use my books, I use all kinds of tools, but I probably use this webpage more than any of them.

I feel it's fitting for me to post this here, because I am TUMBLING down this rabbit hole(I'll see myself out when I'm finished)
So I have been looking at occult things for a while now, but just recently I have found the Shemhamphorash, which is like the Ars Goetia but for angels instead of demons. My guardian angel is Vehuel, which does fit me. Sadly, according the the Shemhamphorash, it's an angel of the day which is kinda not cool because I wish I had an angel of the night. Anyways
So I found this Shemhamphorash but it's too hard, or diff-occult as Mr. Mythos said.
So I'm gonna continue being confused

Introduction to the magic of demons
The core of the demonic magic are the 72 demons of Ars Goetia which form the 72 names of the dark god, just as the 72 angels of Shemhamphorash form the 72 names of God.
Each of the 72 demons represents an independent magical system which, however, in combination with the other demons and their systems, results in the system of demons magic.
In addition, the 72 demons stand for the 72 laws of black magic.
The 72 can be divided into the 50 initiation systems / initiation systems and the 22 higher systems or into 11 main systems, 22 supporting systems, 33 higher systems and 6 special systems.
What are demons
Demons are the messengers of the dark god Chavajoth and mediators between the dark side and humans. Some families are also associated with demons and there are people who have demons as their spiritual companions.
There was a time when the 72 demons were trapped and banished and the ancient magic systems were forgotten and no longer available. But the demons are freed again and their magic is available again. The demon Belial / Bel-Al, who is the consort of the goddess Belili, has even offered to act as a mediator between humans and demons.
In the Left Hand Path it is not necessary to draw any protective circles or triangles if you want to summon a demon. There are also no demons called to fulfill any lower desires. No, an adept of the Left Hand Path calls demons to learn from them.

The Tarot of Ceremonial Magic
Cards from the “Tarot of Ceremonial Magic” by Lon and Constance DuQuette.
The card on the left is one of the 22 Trump cards, and is Atu I, the Magus (Magician). The Atu are numbered starting from 0, and so this card is the second of the Trumps. The second letter of the Hebrew alphabet (Beth) appears in the center square at the bottom of the card. The symbol for Mercury (God of Language and Magic) appears beside it.
The Magus appears with the four elemental weapons (Wand/Fire, Sword/Air, Cup/Water, Disk/Earth).
The square on the bottom left shows the seal of the Genii associated with this Atu and letter (Beth) from the House of Mercury. The square on the right hand side shows the seal of the Genii from the Carcerorum Qliphoth (“Prison of the Shells”). These seals are taken from “Liber 231” by Aleister Crowley. The main colours that appear on the card (yellow and purple) are those traditionally associated with it.
The second card shown is the Princess of Swords, one of the 16 Court cards, where each Princess card represents the Earth aspect of their suits. This card is thus the earthy aspect of Air, and in the Enochian system corresponds to the Earth subangle of the Air tablet. This is displayed at the bottom center of the card. The bottom left shows the appropriate square from the separate Tablet of Union (Spirit Tablet).
The bottom right corner shows a Hindu Tattwa meditation symbol. A yellow square (Earth) appears in a blue circle (Air). The 30 degrees of the Zodiac ruled by this card are displayed in the top right hand side. On the left hand side is a hexagram from the I Ching, in this case made up of the trigram for Earth (Mountain) above the trigram for Air (Wind).
The next card is one of the 36 small cards, in this case the Eight of Wands. Each of the 36 cards represents 10 degrees (1 Decan) of the Zodiac. Since the Wand corresponds to Fire this card represents a Fire sign, in this case the mutable sign of Sagittarius. The exact degrees and the approximate days of the year that the small cards represent are displayed in the upper right section of each card.
Since the number of this card is 8 it is assigned to the 8th Sphere on the Tree of Life (Hod/Mercury). The symbol for Mercury and the symbol for Sagittarius are shown on an Enochian square in the top LHS of this card. The 72 Angels of the Shemhamphorash (Divided Name of God) are the traditional rulers of the 36 small cards, with a pair of angels assigned to each. Their names are shown above the Goetic seals on the lower right and left of the card.
The 72 Spirits of the Goetia are also assigned to each of the small cards, one for the day on the lower left and one for the night on the lower right. The name of each spirit surrounds the seal and is read by starting with the top letter and reading clockwise.
Finally the last card on the right shows the back of each card in the deck. It displays the “Holy Table” used in Enochian magic, with the four elemental symbols in each corner.
[Description above extracted and summarised from “Tarot of Ceremonial Magick” by Lon Milo DuQuette (1995)]
These cards use a syncretic approach to combining elements from different symbolic systems and languages, such as Astrology, Enochian, Goetia etc.
The relation of a specific symbol back to some core abstract form (e.g. the Four Elements) allows symbols in different systems to be “mapped” to each other. This can aid in translating and deciphering ideas expressed in one system, while still allowing the unique perspective of that language to be preserved.
The Correspondences shown here can be used in designing rituals to achieve some desired change in your subjective consciousness and the surrounding objective world, which are interlinked (c.f. Vinculum, the Magical Link).
By learning these languages individually and in concert you can increase the range of concepts you can think about, detect underlying patterns in the experiences you have, and by modifying your behaviour based on this improve your own life and that of others.
“Magic is concerned with the control of hidden energies via a complex cipher of Archetypes, Symbols and Correspondences.” From “Opuscula Magica Volume I” by Andrew D. Chumbley (2010) P. 19

"Energy": as Used in my Practice
I'm not sure what others define or view the term "energy" as pertaining to in their practice, and to be quite honest I'm not entirely certain of what it means in mine either.
Essentially, I believe that every being, or thing, has an intrinsic, core hub, you could say, or in more common terms, spirit. Though I do prefer the term hub here as it carries certain technological connotations that supports the general idea I'm going for in explaining the more specific term here.
So there's the hub, yeah? And there's the underlying, collective current running through time and matter, space and the layered realms/strata of our awareness. The hub or spirit, in my mind, is a lot like the center of a cell, drawing on the current to establish its present manifestation and thereby having, in some cases, a tangible form - in whatever way that might be. Around this, there is looser, more free-flowing "energy," or the essence of the current that hasn't been pulled in quite as strongly/compactly, that is almost locked outside the cemented manifestation about the core in its own gravitational-like pull.
Not sure if that tracks or not, but that's a pretty solid beginning to describing the concept as it stands in my mind. Though I suppose some may have gotten lost on the whole "underlying current" bit, so there's that.
One of my favorite examples to ponder over with this theory is defining demon evocation within its context, as it raises a lot of holes/flaws that I find interesting.
Demons - beings beyond the current though still attached and un/consciously able to manipulate it and so on and so forth, residing beyond our physical realm of existence, etc.
For physical manifestation, demons require certain conditions; namely the offering of incense, a designated area/location/object/etc., the binding names of God, and, according to the Goetia of Dr. Rudd, one of the 72 angels of the Shemhamphorash, as well as a few others, but we'll leave it at that for now. Why? My basic theory: maintaining a physical form is heavily taxing and therefore requires a lot of "energy." The triangle of art supplies a focus, a target area for which the demon can direct the expenditure for the most part, the binding elements serve to hold it in place as well as exert control over it and compel the demon into performing, and the incense may provide both a medium and a feed of passive energy already associated with the demon into the area where the manifestation is to take place. Of course, I'm not entirely convinced this theory even begins to explain the true complexity or depth of energy transference and direction that takes place during an evocation, but for now this is where my mind has mostly settled on as making sense in a logical way.
Taking it back a few dozen steps though, when it comes to creating moon water, or just charged water in general really, one is clearly not going to draw down the entire spirit of the moon and compel it to reside within a glass forever. Nor do I consider charging water under the moon's power to mean that it saps any "energy" straight from the planet's core spirit. In my mind, the creation of moon water is an exchange. You request that the water gathered be charged with some of the moon's essence, elevated above its state of bland tap water for a further purpose you seek, and in exchange for working with you, an offering of "energy" is made in return, whether that be of burnt incense, of ecstatic dance/song, of baked bread, or melted candles, and the deal is done, the give and take of manipulated energy between two, or sometimes three, parties is completed.
Perhaps there is another word for the concept. Perhaps this is entirely the wrong word. But it is one that I have adapted from its modern-day popularised use to make sense within the boundaries of my own practice. I'm not entirely sure when I started using it or when I decided that others' definitions did not match what I'd come to know, but I'm sure in the future it will change even more and find a clearer word or phrase to express that which I appear unable to at this time.

SCP kinda huh
So I've fallen into a rabbit hole of Hebrew religion, specifically the sefirot and such. I've got two things about this:
Is the Shemhamphorash realistic? I mean, according to it, the 12 letter name of God has the power to "banish depression", and I know someone who might need that
One of SCP's most dangerous classifications are Keter, which means crown. Why would you call entities that would kill you at first sight a "crown"? I don't know, maybe it was intentional, but then again there is Apollyon, which, according to Revalation 9:11 (dictionary.com) means The Destroyer, and like. Scp. Let me have some cool-ass words. I've got one right now, and it's Netzach, which means Victory, and it's only been used once in SCP's existance AFAIK
