She resides within the gilded walls of a prestigious academy, an enigmatic figure who keeps others at a distance with her biting words and bold demeanor. But there is more to her story than meets the eye.

Anneliese Trahine is the oldest Trahine sister who residents in Pomefiore, the dorm in Night Raven College; do not think highly of her tough exterior, is all an façade.

Her strong personality is merely a facade meant to hide her sensitive nature.

BACKGROUND:

As the older sibling, Anneliese could say she saw it coming. Throughout her life, her mother fostered a rivalry between Anneliese and her sister, particularly by comparing Anneliese as the "ugly older sister" meanwhile her younger sibling, whom she deemed to be the "pretty one."

Anneliese grew up feeling very insecure about her appearance, and as a result, she often projected her issues onto others. Before attending NRC, Anneliese was known as a bully in her school, where she often picked on many girls, she did this largely because her mother had set the example and she felt the need to assert her superiority.

PERSONALITY

Anneliese's behavior can come across as rude to some, and her tastes can be perceived as extravagant. She does take criticism seriously and uses it as a stepping stone for growth, though she can be a bit bratty when attempting to improve herself, often becoming defensive or stubborn in the process. Nonetheless, her determination to better herself is evident, even if it takes a unique form.

Although she may present a tough exterior, Anneliese is actually a gentle soul who struggles to reveal that side of herself to others. Beneath her strong facade, she possesses a sensitive nature that she keeps guarded, making her a bit reserved when it comes to showing vulnerability; Anneliese struggles with image issues, causing her significant distress about her appearance. This deep-seated problem affects her confidence and self-esteem, making it difficult for her to see herself in a positive light, leading her to sometimes not knowing how to be friendly with girls who are "better looking" then her.

RELATIONSHIPS (main ones)

Riddle Rosehearts: Much like Ace, Anneliese has a talent for getting under Riddle's skin with remarkable ease. Their stubborn personalities make it challenging for them to have a civil conversation without Riddle exclaiming, "Off with your head!" in frustration.

Trey Clover: Trey and Anneliese are baking pals who enjoy each other's company in the kitchen. As Anneliese bakes bread, Trey focuses on crafting delightful sweets. They often engage in lighthearted conversations while they work. Their shared passion for baking creates a warm and friendly atmosphere, making their time together both productive and enjoyable.

Vil Schoenheit: Anneliese is a devoted fan of Vil's work and holds him in high regard, and is very proud to have him as housewander. However, Vil himself doesn't have a clear or established opinion on her character, remaining neutral and detached in his assessment of her, the only thing Vil knows about Anneliese is the affection Rook have for her, which he finds rather endearing.

Grace Chatte: Both Anneliese and Grace are working to create their own fairytales in life, prince charming, being rescue... You name it. And they share a close friendship that is often the subject of school gossip when they are together. Grace enjoys Anneliese's company, and the two are like a pair of classic "old ladies" friends, often laughing and sharing stories as they go about their day with a cup of tea and biscuits.

Damali Khepri (oc owned by @midnightmah07): Anneliese's insecurity may challenge her relationship with Damali, who is known for her beauty and grace. Anneliese could feel overshadowed, leading to jealousy or resentment. However, Damali's calm demeanor might offer stability and perspective to Anneliese. Anneliese's blunt honesty could comfort Damali's trust issues, Anneliese provides Damali with a friend who values her for herself. Additionally, Damali could help Anneliese recognize her worth beyond appearances.

Ruggie Bucchi & Daisy (oc owned by @midnightmah07): Anneliese might have seemed quite rude to Daisy in the past, so Ruggie "gently nudged" Anneliese to apologize to the girl, (he may or may not threaten Anneliese along side Leona). After some time, Anneliese began to grow closer to Daisy, forming a sisterly bond. Anneliese became more open and vulnerable about her insecurities, and Daisy reciprocated. Anneliese is still a bit apprehensive around Ruggie and hopes he doesn't hold any grudges.

ROOK HUNT

Rook tends to be a natural romantic, but have you ever seen a romantic in love? His mission then becomes not to give up on his loved one. For three years now, Rook hasn't given up on Anneliese for even a single day. Anneliese has her own way of testing Rook. Due to her insecurity about her appearance, she worries that Rook is just mocking her behind her back, or perhaps it's all just to make fun of her.

Despite what you might think, Anneliese is very determined not to give Rook what he wants. However, she does have her weaknesses, and sometimes she even flirts back with the hunter—just don't tell anyone.

In the end, Anneliese tries to act indifferent or as if she doesn't like Rook. In reality, though, the true is opposite for other's eyes.

I don’t have any actual WiPs at the mo. For writing. I have two art WiPs and a fucking character profile I need to finish and an ask box crying, pleading to be emptied. These are like if Ajisai had dialogue as a Dragon Age companion, it's fine, let's not dwell on it.

#Finn's ocs #Finn's art #oc references #i wrote the descs while w the kids so hopefully they make sense. my attention was split #but anyway here in the tags I'll talk about the designs in relation to their kids lol #polaris is emulating thuban moreso than anyone else. her color scheme and outfit motifs are the same as his- they ARE his #her original outfit is clothes she took and diy'd into her own so she could go off into the world and well presumably look for him at first #the truth is she always wanted to see the world that's why she loved maps. in a way this was an excuse. in another way she was just lonely #but doesn't understand loneliness. also the fact that she's not his daughter by blood is part of that #bc of her actual parents (not as relevant character-wise) she sees all relationships as temporary and she has issues connecting #ananke i wanted to mostly look intimidating in a way that Bella really isn't #Bella puts on skull hairties and fishnets and stuff but she's very much. a cute softie trying to look edgy. she has pink twintails #she's so different from her mom in pretty much every way but she still did have that ideal of strength drilled into her #still her take on it is softer. she's the team leader now but she's really pretty lenient aside from the important No Killing rule ofc #w Rhea and Arche i had a bit of a flower theme. pussywillow (lol) means motherhood and buttercups mean childishness #so. mother and child #but rhea is interesting bc she's raising a whole different kid now that she's in a different place in life #if you do the math she had Saiph young. and it was alright for a while until his dad (again not as important) died #so she didn't have support or money. but she had a connection to the guild because his dad's old sword teacher is a member (hmm)#but she was too scared/ashamed to visit. she just left him his dad's old knife because that's all she had (THE KNIFE IS IMPORTANT)#arche is her kid with her second husband and her new beginning. this will cause some inner problems for Saiph when he meets them...#Poerava was kinda designed to have rich lady vibes because remember Al's family is practically nobility #but more importantly she's designed to look like a mom. with the low ponytail and tired eyes #the black pearl of her namesake as the centerpiece of her outfit too #again she's got the healthiest relationship with her kid here by a longshot #but i mean don't worry Al still got the daddy issues so he's not getting away unscathed #I already drew Taurus with the zodiac knights though so i didn't feel the need to reintroduce him #anyway Mira really has 0 connection to any family at all she was found as an orphaned baby after a monster attack #obviously she had parents but beyond town of origin it's unknown who so she has no connections to any sort of past parental figure #the guild is her one and only family and that's how she wants it. she wants to be with them forever the past doesn't matter

What's more unfortunate for Mirror than one Dr. Hizarou...? Two of them!

Here is Alice during the Pseudo-Human/Final arc!! As always, info below (✿◕‿◕✿)

Dr. Alice Hizarou

Female

183 cm tall

Kisaki and Tagashei's daughter!

Created during the Rapid Corpus arc, Alice was made in a lab. She was not a Pseudo Human, she functioned and looked just like a regular human.

At age 25, she decided she would rather become a demon than stay an immortalized human.

Since she was related to Kisaki, she was often targeted.

She didn't fear death, often openly challenging her aggressors.

After being taken to the demon realm, she stayed there for a few centuries, learning about her new abilities. She eventually returned to the human realm, obtaining her current humanoid appearance.

Like Kisaki, Alice perused the sciences. She studied organ creation for a few years as Kisaki's student, but eventually moved onto biological enhancements to deity forms (ie, what Mad Rabbit is to Tagashei).

She also has her own "morgue", named Gates to Wonderland!

Alice did obtain magic once she became a demon, though she rarely uses it. She respects all the work her dad (Kisaki) does without magic, so she prefers to limit her usage of it.

Her hair is able to eject highly corrosive toxins, so she has large syringe tips to concentrate toxin output.

She is very much like her dads- a bit violent, intense, and like Kisaki, she laughs at threats.

She becomes really close friends with Atomus and Evelyn.

She, like her dads, has an alternate form! It is highly toxic.

Some design notes:

The locket on he neck was made by Tagashei when she was very little.

She lost a finger... and had Tagashei make her a replacement.

She can style her hair differently.

She sometimes has more stuff in her hair (gears, cards, etc).

She thinks Alpha Decay Kisaki's tail was inspired by how she does her hair normally... and she's right!

Me: Yara is a skilled swordswoman and the literal offspring of Dracule Mihawk Also me: *never draws Yara with a sword* (she trains with Vista every day so I think this still counts as the prompt?) Anyways the sword's name is Yoake. It's a kokutō (black blade) said to be forged from the scraps of other legendary blades many, many years ago for a young prince whose hands were yet too small to wield a proper sword. Its comparatively tiny hand grip and thin blade have led some sword enthusiasts to deride it as a "glorified letter opener", yet like other kokutō, it remains extremely durable and can be a devastating weapon when wielded with skill and precision. Yoake fell into the hands of the Whitebeard Pirates after a successful raid against an enemy fleet, where it was then gifted by Whitebeard himself to his "daughter" for her sixteenth birthday.

The degree to which Ahene cares how she looks or doesn’t care how she looks seems really situational until you realize that she basically always cares how she looks, she just thinks it should be appropriate to the situation. She will definitely pretend she doesn’t care, though.

Alright, so, for one of my newest OCs I'm going to pick Tsutsuji. She is an OC I created for the world of Final Fantasy XIV, and I've recently managed to figure out some more story I can give her, so now is as good a time as ever to talk about her, hopefully!

First of all, here are some screenshots I took to show you what she looks like. And from there, I can give you some facts about her!

Tsutsuji is approximately in her late twenties, and is exceptionally tall for a female Au Ra - though this may not be saying too much considering said exceptional height is only 158.5cm. For context, that's about 5'2.4", which makes her shorter than Lorenza. The fact she wears raised sandals does very little to actually help her in this regard.

Her pale-coloured scales and cranial projections identify her as a Raen Au Ra, and she is originally from somewhere in the Yanxian kingdom of Doma. However, she came to Eorzea some years ago, ostensibly on a whim in pursuit of further magical discoveries; the impending umbral calamity about to hit the region at the time, in the form of the moon turning red and falling out of the sky, did little to dissuade her.

On the note of story, Tsutsuji currently fits into it by being a potential Warrior of Light; she wouldn't really fit that mantle if there were other (more archetypal) adventurers in the vicinity, but she does at least have the Echo, which would probably make her a Scion (or at least quite associated with them). Given that she fights as a summoner, the fact she has faced down primals directly without much risk makes summoning egi forms of them a lot easier for her. She's also generally very magically capable, so she's definitely not someone you want to be up against in battle, lest you get ruined by three different types of elemental attacks in rapid succession.

More concretely, Tsutsuji is part of the alliances that raid the Crystal Tower, having joined NOAH's expedition in search of the Allagan knowledge within it. She uses some of the information she reads about on the way up, plus the convenient monumentally-enormous voidgate at the top of the tower, to successfully summon a certain voidsent to the Source in her entirety - this of course being Lorenza. The two of them do make a pact - Lorenza's knowledge in return for Tsutsuji's aether - but Tsutsuji is fairly happy with the information she gets from Lorenza, and basically just.. lets her go and do her own thing in the Source pretty quickly. It's a very unconventional dynamic for a voidsent and the mage that summoned them, and Lorenza is very baffled by it.

In terms of personality, Tsutsuji is.. chaotic, to sum it up succinctly. As you may have gathered from how I've described her thus far. Incredibly spontaneous and theatrical in her ideas, appearing and disappearing on any given scene quite without warning, never seeming to take a bad situation seriously or let it affect her emotions in the slightest.. this one-of-a-kind demeanour would be remarkable enough in its own right, but it's compounded by her incredible arcane knowledge and magical capabilities, so she manages to strike fear into just about every villainous soul you could come across. I'm trying to think of a good comparison, but I'm falling short. Maybe like.. Elena from Pokémon Reborn but with extra "super chaotic/energetic nerdy scientist" vibes.

The name "Tsutsuji" is actually an alias of sorts - it's the Doman word for azalea flowers, which she is always seen wearing in her hair (I know that's a chrysanthemum in the screenshots but it was as close as i could get in-game okay), so over time people started referring to her by them. She'll never introduce herself by this name (or any name at all, honestly), but she does answer to it if you call her by it.

While she doesn't tend to speak much of her family (or any of her past, really), Tsutsuji does have a younger sister called Ajisai (which translates to "hydrangea"). She has also made the arduous journey to Eorzea, but much later in the story, arriving by boat alongside Yugiri and many other Doman refugees during the main story. She wants to find her sister, but the way Tsutsuji conducts herself doesn't exactly make that very easy for her (the fact she isn't using her actual name, for example).

My current voice claim for Tsutsuji is Xingchen (Stardust), the Synth V vocal. Which technically doesn't quite fit, considering that Xingchen is a Mandarin Chinese vocal whereas Tsutsuji (being Doman) is supposed to be Japanese, but it's more about tone of voice than accent. It's specifically how she sounds in this song, particularly the higher parts in the choruses. However, if she ever sounds as low and subdued as the song's verses sound, You Have Done Something Very Wrong. Her voice is usually a lot more light-hearted and all-over-the-place in terms of its tone! ..The song still does kind of fit as like a boss fight theme of sorts for her, though, honestly.
