Thinking about David + Catherine’s performances as the duplicate Doctor and Donna in Wild Blue Yonder. They are so good portraying the underlying soullessness in the duplicates. Sometimes it’s obvious (whenever they aren’t trying to seem real), but it’s the subtle parts that really shine. The unnatural way fake!Doctor sits in the orange… goo computer room… even the emotional moments seem false in a way that isn’t immediately apparent. I didn’t catch it at all in my first watch, but now I know which ones which, I can see the subtle differences.

I also remember thinking it was weird that fake!Donna was so stilted in the first scene we saw her in after the fake!Doctor was seemingly very natural. Of course, by that point, the audience knows something is going on, so there’s no need to pretend like fake!Donna could be real… but then I realized! The duplicates rely on fast thinking/adrenaline to learn their targets. So the reason fake!Doctor is more real seeming is because the Doctor is already thinking quickly and hyped up on adrenaline (when is he not?). The fake!Doctor is already more complete fake!Donna before any of the scaring takes place! Genius! And David and Catherine captured that perfectly in their performances.

Debatable when Annabeth fell for Percy in the book but I KNOW in the show it was the moment mr “we can’t ever be friends” sacrificed himself so she wouldn’t have to be punished for his impertinence, fell 630 feet, and SURVIVED. If that’s not complete selflessness it’s complete chaotic badassery, my girl was smitten from then on <3

i’ve been having some thoughts on mama from girl at home !! i kinda wanna give her some personality even tho it’s technically a reader insert

i did a smau which insinuates she’s a brunette which makes sense cause nora is also a brunette

also someone said awhile back that it would be cool if she was a writer so i feel like that could def be her job!
