You had never been to a circus before, but as much as you’d heard, you were quite certain it was similar to being introduced to the high society of London.
Extravagant clothes, announcements and performing tricks with a dash of danger.
If endless chatter and gossip and constant criticism fell under the category of danger, at least.
“Oh how I’m glad it’s over,” you murmured as the carriage slowed down, then came to a stop in front of your house. “It’s almost a blessing one only debuts once if you ask me.”
“My dearest, come on now,” your aunt said with a small smile. “It wasn’t that bad, was it?”
“Not for me, no,” you admitted. “If anything it was dull, but I saw multiple ladies with tears in their eyes.”
The door of the carriage opened and you stepped out of it, then looked behind you to see the coachman helping your aunt out of the carriage as well. She linked her arm with yours before you both started walking towards the house down the stone road.
“Tears in their eyes?” she repeated. “Surely not. Who?”
“One of the Featherington sisters.”
“The one who tripped and fell in front of the queen?” she asked. “You could hardly blame her.”
“And um…what’s the name of the girl with those huge earrings?”
“Miss Grant?”
You snapped your fingers, “Yes, her,” you said as you slowly climbed up the stairs with her and entered the house. “You’d think being named the diamond is a matter of life or death, with the way people are acting.”
“I’m glad you brought it up actually,” she said as she gave her coat to the maid by the door. “Because I’ve heard—”
“Oh the glorious warriors are back from the battlefield it seems!” your uncle’s voice boomed through the hallway and you couldn’t help but smile slightly at his theatrics. Your aunt shook her head fondly, and looked up at the mezzanine where your uncle was leaning to the stair rails. He gave you a big smile and you and your aunt went up the marble stairs to reach him.
“My Clover,” he hugged you. “Was it terrible?”
You heaved a dramatic sigh. “More than you could imagine, uncle.”
He hummed, that playful glimmer shining in his eyes. “Was there blood?”
Your aunt gasped. “Howard!”
“What? I know how vicious ladies can be when they want to have more suitors than others dear,” he kissed your aunt’s cheek and she patted his arm.
“There wasn’t any blood but some tears,” you pointed out. “Much to my disappointment. I’d love to see people claw each other’s eyes out.”
“Oh you two…” your aunt said and entered the drawing room with you two following her. You took out the multiple feathers from your hair and tossed them on the coffee table.
“Where’s Teddy?”
“With his tutor,” your uncle said. “So? Am I in the presence of the diamond of the season?”
You scoffed. “Thankfully no.”
“That’s what I was saying though!” your aunt said. “I’ve heard some ladies say they were convinced you would be the diamond when they saw you. And her majesty took her time inspecting you, did she not? Y/N, if only you smiled a little in the ballroom …”
You made a face and shook your head.
“No no,” you said. “It wouldn’t have changed anything, Daphne Bridgerton being the diamond makes sense. She’s more beautiful and talented and educated and all that, she was basically born and raised to be the diamond. I learned how to play the piano about two years ago, and the only time I would do it willingly is if I ever wanted to torment somebody. Besides, I’m not—” you paused for a moment, then cleared your throat.
“I’m really not interested in being the diamond,” you managed to say. “More trouble than it’s worth.”
They exchanged glances and your uncle nodded.
“We’re happy if you’re happy, Clover.”
You offered him a tiny smile and stood up.
“Well I’ll change and go to the garden,” you said. “Send for me if you need anything?”
“Will do!”
You made your way upstairs to quickly change your gown and went downstairs again. Grabbing your gardening apron and tools from the small closet by the door, you stepped out of the house and made your way to the flower gardens. You put on the apron and put down the basket, then got on your knees to inspect a rose, frowning slightly before grabbing the pruning shears and getting to work.
You had always loved tending to gardens. Ever since you were a child, it had given you more joy than anything else, planting flowers and watching them grow, it was in fact the only happy memory you had of your childhood. Perhaps it was because it gave you an excuse to stay out of the house, but whatever the reason was, you had always stayed outside, spending hours in the tiny garden you could call your own back home.
More often than not, your older sister would join you. It wasn’t as if she was interested in gardening, at least not like you were, but perhaps she too sought for some peace and quiet, and it was impossible to find it in the house where your parents were. Almost every moment consisted of a fight, things thrown around, and sooner or later either you or her would get involved in it, and be subjected to the fury of your mother or your father, whoever was the closest.
So, staying outside was safer.
In a way, you and your sister had both found a way to stay safe later on in life. She had eloped three years ago with your help, and only a couple of months later your aunt and uncle had visited your parents’ house and had a long talk with your father about letting you and your little brother Teddy stay with them. They had no kids, and since it would mean that your mother and father would have two less mouths to feed, they had agreed quite fast.
Especially when your uncle had mentioned money.
You were quite certain you would always be in your uncle and aunt’s debt. Even though both of them claimed otherwise, it would have made more sense for them to take Teddy, since he was a boy and could be their heir and easily leave you behind in that hell, but they had done no such a thing and made sure to treat you and Teddy like their own.
They were the only parents Teddy could remember.
And you?
As far as you were concerned, your birth parents were dead.
“Y/N!” A gleeful scream made you turn your head and you dropped the shears before Teddy threw himself at you, wrapping his arms around your neck, and thankfully you’d had enough practice at catching him mid-air in the last couple of years so even though your whole body tilted back for a moment, you quickly regained your balance.
“Hello there!” you said, a big smile warming your face as you hugged him back. “What did we talk about sudden movements and sharp objects little man?”
He pulled back, giving you a huge grin.
“Did you trip in front of the Queen?”
You let out a small laugh. “Who told you that? Uncle?”
“He said someone always trips,” he said, excitement laced in his tone. “Did you?”
You shook your head and dropped your voice as if giving him a secret.
“Not me but someone tripped and fell down.”
He gasped. “Really?”
“Mm hm.”
“Then what happened?” he asked. “Is she in prison now?”
You bit back a smile. “No Teddy, no one goes to prison for that.”
“Even if it happened in front of the Queen?”
“Even then,” you said and wrapped your arms around him as he sat down to look at the flowers better.
“How was your day?”
“Boring,” he pouted. “Mr. Langdon says I must study harder.”
You hummed. “You know the rules,” you told him. “You want to be the smartest boy in Eton, do you not? When it’s time for you to go there—”
“I don’t want to go to Eton,” he cut you off and you pulled back to look at him better.
“Why not?”
“I’d miss you,” he mumbled, reaching you to touch the flowers and you felt your heart drop to your stomach at the idea of him going away all on his own. You heaved a sigh and opened your mouth to disagree, but then a tiny four leaf clover caught your sight, making you tilt your head.
This was also one of the reasons why your sister used to call you her lucky clover. Somehow, you managed to find those more than any other gardener.
You reached out to rip it, then held it up for Teddy to see, making him gasp.
“It has four leaves!”
“It does,” you said and put the tiny clover into the pocket on the lapel of his jacket. “See? It’ll bring you luck, in here or in Eton.”
He grinned at you and looked down at the clover.
“And,” you said, making him lift his head. “I’ll always be here for you, no matter where you are. Nothing could ever change that, alright?”
He paused for a moment and nodded fervently.
“Wonderful,” you said and reached inside the basket to pull out another pair of gloves. “Now, what do you say you help me with this?”
                                             *
Of course everything that had happened in the Queen’s presence had found its way to Whistledown’s gossip columns, and the whole ton was buzzing with the expectation of the balls and social gatherings to come. You would be lying if you said you shared the sentiment, you’d much rather stay at home and deal with your garden, but this was the issue with having debuted, considering how your uncle and aunt were prominent members of the ton, you now had to join any and every social outing within the season, formal or not so formal.
Hence where you were now.
Lady Bridgerton had invited some of the new debutantes and their families for tea, probably to celebrate Daphne’s new status but to socialize as well.
In your opinion, this was nothing but an attempt to make horses become familiar with each other before putting them on the race tracks but your aunt was very excited about it, so of course you said you would go but now that you were here, you couldn’t wait to go back home. The Bridgerton house was beautiful, and Lady Bridgerton was quite nice but the rest of the guests?
Dear God, this was almost as much of a torment as listening to your own tune on the piano.
You made your way to the huge table to grab a glass of lemonade, ignoring the whispers coming from the circle of ladies on the other side of table but when one of them giggled, you turned your head to look at them. The girl stopped whispering with her friends and shot you a slight grin.
“So which one of them are you here for?”
You furrowed your brows and looked down at the lemonade in your hand.
“There are different types?”
“No, silly!” she said. “Which of the Bridgerton brothers are you here for?”
Your frown deepened. “What?”
“Oh none of them of course!” the other girl said. “Kitty, stop getting her hopes up.”
You tilted your head. “I’m sorry?”
“I’m Irene,” the girl introduced herself. “You’ve probably heard about me. Anyway, don’t get me wrong of course but I’ve heard some things about you, that you grew up quite poor until your uncle took you and your brother in so it’s better not to get your hopes up.”
You arched a brow, keeping your gaze on her.
“They say the Viscount won’t get married so if you’re hoping to get him, I’d forget about that plan right now.”
The Vis—
Ah.
Right, you had seen him talking to Daphne when you were leaving the court and quite frankly, you weren’t impressed.
Not that you thought you could be impressed by anyone’s looks.
“Not to worry, you can have him,” you said. “I’m not interested.”
Kitty and Irene exchanged glances and Irene let out a scoff.
“Oh you’re after Benedict Bridgerton?” she asked. “The second son? That’s hopeless as well. Don’t even make any plans for it, the competition is too high and some say his attention has already been claimed.”
“Devastating,” you said with a completely straight face but it seemed to have gone over her head.
“And if you want to get Colin—”
“Are you planning on listing their whole family tree?” you cut her off. “Did you memorize it in your free time?”
Irene’s jaw dropped and you shrugged your shoulders.
“I’m not jesting by the way, everyone needs a past time activity, yours just happens to be a strange one.”
A small chuckle reached your ears and you turned your glances to the two other girls standing close to you, one with red hair and one brunette.
“Eloise,” Irene said. “And Penelope. How are you on this fine day?”
The brunette grinned.
“I’ve been better,” she said. “So have you, I suppose.”
Irene gritted her teeth and Kitty turned to you.
“Is it true you’re unable to smile?” she asked and you frowned.
“What?”
“Everyone says so,” she said. “That you have an illness of the sort. You can’t smile even if you want to.”
You stared at her for a moment, then took a deep breath and nodded.
“Yes,” you said. “It’s true.”
Irene pulled back slightly. “Really?”
“I don’t like to talk about it,” you said. “It was so unexpected. The tragedy struck when I was six years old, the doctors haven’t been able to find a cure or a cause since then. I don’t even remember how it feels to be able to smile to be honest with you.”
Kitty’s mouth opened agape in shock.
“And the worst part is,” you said. “The doctors fear it might be contagious.”
Kitty gasped and grabbed Irene’s arm, then pulled her to walk away from you to the other side of the room. You rolled your eyes and one of the girls let out a small chuckle.
“That was good,” she commented and the redhead repressed a laugh.
“Kitty will tell everyone you were not nice to her though, just so you know.”
“I’m not interested in being nice,” you muttered and the brunette smiled.
“I respect that,” she said. “I’m Eloise Bridgerton and this is Penelope Featherington.”
“Lovely to meet you,” you said after introducing yourself and out of the corner of your eye you saw Daphne approaching the table.
“Hello,” she smiled at you brightly before turning to Eloise. “Eloise, where is Benedict?”
“With Lottie I’m guessing. They both disappeared.”
“How shocking,” Daphne said. “Mama wants to see you.”
Eloise heaved a sigh and nodded at you, then she and Penelope walked away. Daphne turned to you.
“Welcome to our home.”
“Thank you for inviting me,” you said. “And congratulations by the way, for being the diamond of the season.”
“Thank you!” she said, that bright smile lighting up her face again. “Some people say the Queen also considered you, I hope you do not resent me.”
You waved a hand in the air.
“Ah no I could never be the diamond, there’s nothing to resent,” you said. “Besides that’s just a rumor. The Queen was probably thinking about something else, I just happened to be there. You deserve that title much more than me.”
“I’m sure that’s not true.”
“Oh it is,” you said. “I assure you.”
She tilted her head.
“We’re all going to take turns to play tunes on the piano in a moment,” she said. “Would you like to play as well?”
“Depends,” you deadpanned. “Do you want to make sure everyone leaves in a hurry? Because that’s my musical talent.”
Daphne stared at you, then covered her mouth to hide her laugh.
“It is a talent nonetheless.”
“One that would prove to be useful against unwanted guests if you have any in here.”
“You have no idea,” she whispered but before she could say anything else, you both heard her name being called. She heaved a sigh.
“I must go,” she said. “But thank you for the conversation.”
“Anytime,” you said and watched her leave, then downed your lemonade. You had to leave before somehow your aunt came up with the bright idea of you sitting in front of that piano, and in your humble opinion this was enough socializing to last you for a day. You made your way to your aunt and touched her arm.
“I’m going back home auntie.”
“Oh?” she asked. “Already?”
“I drank too much lemonade I think, my stomach feels strange.”
“Oh I can—”
“You don’t have to come with me, Paula can chaperone me back home,” you cut her off. “She was with the other maids in the garden the last I saw her.”
“Are you sure?”
“Absolutely,” you said, “I will see you home?”
“Yes my dear,” she said and you kissed her cheek, then thanked Lady Bridgerton on your way out of the drawing room and stepped out to the hallway. You let out a relieved breath and stretched out, all your muscles sore from you being so tense since the moment you had arrived. You rubbed at your eyes, wondering whether your maid was still in the garden but before you could lower your hands a door opened and you crashed into a hard body with a gasp and the person grabbed you by the arm, making your head snapped up.
The man in front of you was tall, much taller than you. His waistcoat fit him perfectly, and you had a chance to glimpse at his muscular arms as he pulled you upright to help you regain your balance allowing you to see his face better. He was very handsome, there was no denying that, with bright blue eyes and black hair, along with a faint smile adorning his lips—
Alright.
Perhaps you could be impressed by someone’s looks then.
You paused only for a moment before you snapped out of your haze and your anger at yourself burned through you for even letting such a nonsense thought catch you off guard. He stared at you, his mouth slightly agape as if he was in the same haze as you were but you narrowed your eyes, glaring at him.
“Watch your step,” you nearly growled and a look of confusion crossed his handsome face, making him blink in silence a couple of times.
“…It’s—it’s my house?” he said slowly as if trying to see whether you were jesting. “I live here.”
You shrugged your shoulders, still glaring at him and he took a deep breath as if deciding to clear out any misunderstanding.
“I’m Benedict Bridgerton.”
Ah.
Well, that made sense. No wonder the competition was high—
From an objective stance, that was.
“Congratulations,” you deadpanned and a small giggle reached your ears, making Benedict turn to glare at the closed door behind him.
And that was probably the girl who had ‘claimed his attention’ as they put it. Not that you would be troubling yourself with it.
“Um— what about you?” he asked as he turned to you again. “What’s your name?”
You raised your brows. “Why?”
“To repeat, because you are in my house.”
“So are a lot of other ladies,” you said and pointed back with your thumb. “They are waiting for you in the drawing room.”
He grimaced as if the mere thought caused him pain. “Are they really?”
“My heartfelt sorrows for the hardships waiting for you, may you find a solace of some sort.”
“You don’t sound to be in sorrow.”
“This is how I sound in sorrow,” you pointed out drily and he seemed almost amused as he tilted his head.
“Will you really refuse to tell me your name?”
“That’s not important information,” you said and walked past him, the faint scent of his cologne mixing into your breath and you bit down on your lip, then started making your way downstairs.
“Why not?” he called out and you scoffed.
“I doubt we will ever talk to each other again Mr. Bridgerton,” you called back, your heels echoing on the marble of the foyer before you walked out of the house, not even looking back.

I finally finished it!!! my Undertale Yellow Underfell fic that ive been working on basically since the game came out <3 The fic is completely done, so you could read it all right now. excerpt from chapter 1 under the cut!
Clover opened their eyes slowly. The light above was far away and bright, and their entire body was sore. They sat up slowly, and in a sudden moment of clarity, their hand flew to their head.
It was still there. Their brand new hat, that they got just yesterday. Further inventory checks revealed they still had the missing poster in their pocket, and the stolen gun by their hip.
They let out a breath of relief that they hadn't lost anything, before finally taking in their surroundings.
Clover was sitting in a soft pile of yellow flowers, and beyond them was a small cave. Never the fan of small spaces, Clover got up and started walking down the narrow tunnel.
The tunnel opened up quickly, thankfully. They wandered forward slowly, their footsteps echoing against the walls. …No, that wasn't an echo.
Clover reached for their pistol, but before they could properly get it in their hands, a monster had already emerged from the other side of the cave.
She looked almost… no, they had to be imagining things. Either way, her presence had a way of calming them down.
She introduced herself as Toriel, and looked almost as surprised as Clover was.
“You must've taken quite a fall,” she offered empathetically, walking towards them slowly as if approaching a wild animal. Well, their hand was still on their gun. “You poor child…” Once the distance was closed, she suddenly enveloped Clover in a hug.
They froze, caught off guard. It was unfamiliar, and yet, they felt like they'd been hugged like this dozens of times before. They felt like crying by the time Toriel pulled away.
“Come with me,” she offered, thankfully taking Clover's hand in hers. “Let me show you around the Ruins.”
She led the way out of the cave, and the next room opened up much further, finally shining light onto the purple concrete and red flowers that they walked around, favoring the grand stairs at either side of it.
They took the left staircase.
Toriel led the way through a couple puzzles- they all seemed relatively simple, up until the lever that Toriel told Clover to click refused to work.
“You must've done it wrong,” Toriel suggested, so they tried a couple more times to the same non-result. “No no no,” she said finally, patience wearing thin, “That's the wrong one.”
Had they clicked the wrong one? Without thinking too hard on it, Clover moved to the other lever and pulled.
The floor disappeared under their feet, and suddenly again, they were falling-
Their head throbbed, Toriel was saying something but it was difficult to hear her over the heartbeat in their ears.
Slowly, so very slowly, Clover sat up, just in time to watch the poster slip down the cliff. They tried to chase after it, but the sudden movement made the pain in their head flair up, forcing them back down.
The poster was far out of sight by the time Clover finally made it to their feet. It was darker down here, especially as they wandered further away from the crack in the floor- ceiling?
As they walked through the darkened Ruins, suddenly, a flower popped up. Not only that, but a flower with a rather concerned face.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
Too confused to do much of anything else, Clover only nodded.
“You look like you took quite a tumble! Don't worry, let me heal you.”
And suddenly, a soft warmth washed over them. Once it disappeared, they were left slightly colder, but the pounding in their head was gone. They stood up a little straighter.
“I'm Flowey!” The flower explained further. “If… I can help you, by healing you. And getting you out of-” he gestured to the surrounding area with his leafs, “Here.”
Clover hesitated.
This flower certainly had to be a monster. But… of the two monsters they'd met thus far, both had offered to help them. Perhaps they were wrong to think them cruel? The idea was too heavy to think too much on now. Instead, they nodded again.
“You don't talk much, do you?” Flowey asked with a tilt of his head- petals? Several of which were torn. “What's your name?”
“Clover.”
“Well, Clover, let's get started! Just bring me with you, and I'll lead the way.”

5 and 23 for the storytelling ask please :)
How do you choose your characters’ names? Choose your least favourite character so far.
Strap in because I'm going to happily ramble about my named sims, and gossip about those I despise! Content warning for sim death.
Tumblr media
How do you choose your characters’ names? oh my gosh I have wanted to talk about this for ages Amy HOW DID YOU KNOW! It could almost be its own post. So when I started most of my characters had pre existing names because they were premades or from the gallery. I'll talk about the sims I have named.
Devin, Deanna, Silas and Milton were randomised names that I liked. Alexander's cats Hamlet and Gertrude come from the play Hamlet. Clover and Ginger are just dog names I liked.
Joey was actually named after this sea otter at Vancouver Aquarium! During the pandemic he was found orphaned and they livestreamed him in his nursery and meeting the older otters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kelly was named before he was born, I wanted a unisex name that could fit a boy or a girl. The boy Kelly I named him after is from Chicago Fire. He is not my favourite character but I do love the complex ones, so him being a jerk and Kelly being evil is one big coincidence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fergus and Carson were named with the randomise button, but I know of characters with their names so I kept them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wanted all of the Chopra kids to be named after wonderful black characters or persons of renown. The eldest Chopra twin was named after the actress Mercedes Varnardo who plays Koska Reeves on The Mandalorian. I love the spirit of Koska who is dedicated and loyal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The youngest Chopra twin was named after the character Savannah from Criminal minds who married the main character Derek Morgan. She is an intelligent woman with a big heart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the smallest Chopra is of course named after Viola Davis. I wanted an old fashioned sounding name and Viola Davis is amazing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pollock Knightstone is named after painter Jackson Pollock. His father Adam is an art critic so I figured he'd name him for an out there artist.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alfred and Rilian Villareal get their names from the areas of culture their mama and mummy love. Alfred is named for famous director Alfred Hitchcock (that's why he has a thing about birds)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rilian is named for Prince Rilian from the Narnia books. Specifically Prince Rilian, who is the son of Prince Caspian, is a character in the Silver Chair (a movie I saw several times growing up).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I found Marta's name by looking at a list of popular Latina names. But her surname, Romero, absolutely comes from Romeo and Juliet. If you are attracted to pretty males and haven't seen Douglas Booth playing Romeo you are missing out!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Choose your least favourite character so far
I have several and thankfully they are all dead! It's hard to pick between these two though. Mortimer might beat Ophelia by a smidgeon.
Ophelia Ryan was James Goth's first wife. I hated her on principal because between rotations MCCC married them because James may have had a romance bar with Alexander but they weren't an official couple. Storywise I had her being a snob who only married James for his family status (James had the closeted trait when Alexander started flirting with him). Anyway she refused to believe James was gay, claiming no one actually enjoys woohoo, and was not going to let him divorce her so he could marry his boy toy. Then she had a cardiac explosion and died because she was a COW.
Mortimer Goth became a self obsessed mean man. First off he started blaming Bella for all their troubles, and called her a gold digger repeatedly. He was far more interested in writing his precious bestsellers than caring about his kids or wife. He only saw Cassandra and Alexander as their achievements, and let Milton lie in a diaper blowout for hours because he was writing. Oh and then he slept with their maid. Then he hired Dina to be a live in maid and slept with her before Bella disappeared. Then he was CRUSHED by a meteor made of karma.

Hi aineeeeeeee can i plzs reqst nozel, william and yuno with their daughter who is clingy and jealous and their mom (yn) just gave birth to their second child and they thought that they dont love her anymore? Thanksss
Helloooooooo sweetieeeeeee!!
I'll always say yes to dad! fics so here we go! Also! my first dad! yuno because *SPOILER ALERT*
Yuno and Asta are officially of age! WOOTS.
Characters: Nozel, William, Yuno x f!reader d/n = daughter name, s/n = son's name, sd/n= second daughter name
tw: unchecked
Tumblr media
Nozel Silva
d/n is known throughout the entire Clover kingdom to be an absolute daddy's girl is Nozel takes fullest pride in that.
It's to the point that sometimes you would roll your eyes at the both of them, wondering if you gave birth to your own mistress.
When you were pregnant with your second child, Nozel fussed over you a lot more. Well he also fussed like this when you were pregnant with d/n but d/n wasn't there to witness it so...
Now that she is seeing how her dad is fussing over something that is not her, she's already starting to feel inferior to her unborn sister.
She would already start to get her dad's attention during that time. Well, it wasn't that bad back then because well, your unborn daughter couldn't really kick up a fuss in your belly..
When sd/n was born, d/n didn't really like her. Initially you both thought that it was because she was not used to having a baby in her house and that she was too young to understand what being an older sister was like.
Until she started crying and throwing tantrums a lot more. Basically being naughty AF. She would push her baby sister away and stuff.
You kinda knew what's going on, well she's still your baby girl as well and you know her well. But your clueless husband spoilt her too much to see this.
You purposely called an expert in to sit down with your husband to talk about this together with d/n.
d/n then cried, saying that her daddy did not love her anymore, which broke Nozel's heart then and there.
It wasn't really easy to chide Mr Grumpy Royal, but you backed the expert up and was firm on your stand that Nozel had spoilt her too much prior to this.
And now? Mr Nozel is going through parenting 101 classes and lots of child behavioural books. God bless this man.
William Vangeance
Your first born was your absolute joy for the both of you. She was sweet and didn't make much of a fuss, just that your husband. The only thing was that she is pretty shy and clingy to the both of you.
She was okay with the nanny but if you both were around, she's follow where ever you go. You both didn't have much problems with that until you had your second child.
Well because he was still an infant, he needed more effort and time from the both of you. On top of that, you both were juggling magic knight duties, so you definitely had lesser time with d/n.
She didn't really make a fuss about it, she was quiet most of the time and she tried being a "good girl" or an "understanding" girl to her parents.
She was quietly by the both of your sides while you took care of s/n and handled your other duties.
Until one day she went missing. Because she was always like your shadows, you both noticed it pretty quickly and you panicked. She was always shy and clingy so how on earth did she go missing?
Thankfully you didn't take long to find her hiding in the park's treehouse. It was one of her favourite place to go to.
When asked why was she hiding there, she said that "daddy and mommy don't love me anymore,"
And you both hugged her and broke down into tears. You had to apologise and explain to her what you both were going through.
You then taught her to speak up if she wanted anything at all and mommy and daddy would give it to her.
William couldn't sleep for quite awhile because of the guilt he felt. You both also got the nanny to help take care of s/n on some days so that you two could spend time with d/n.
Yuno Grinberryall
Well, this man was a one without much words, but you could see that d/n was his absolute joy. When you were pregnant with daughter number 2, he was brimming with excitement and happiness.
D/n, however, was not that excited for her baby sister. She would already ask before sd/n was born, "will you love her and not love me anymore?"
Of course your husband and you always pacified her and tell her that this was not going to be the case.
You both made the effort to spend a lot of time with her, and made her engage and involved with her little sister's things, like decorating the nursery and picking out baby clothes for her arrival.
But on the day where sd/n was born, and you both were carry and cuddling her, d/n broke into tears, saying that she was going to be dumped by you two for sd/n.
Thankfully her daddy knew how to take care of her. With a little magic, he could make her giggle and laugh once more.
You both apologised to her for not hugging her together and make sure to include her in all activities from then on.
She would be tasked to help with the feeding, the changing of nappies and even getting her little sister to sleep.
You would also ask d/n to read to and play with her little sister.
Guess what? Over time, d/n was more clingy to sd/n instead of the both of you and the two sisters share such a lovely bond.
It was really a win-win situation for the both of you since you could spend lesser effort with your little helper there to help.
"we could easily have 2 or 3 more," Yuno would sometimes tease you.

YAY to Dad! Yuno! Ahhh I can properly simp for this man right now.

bruh I hate to be that one birdwatching bitch but everyone making Flapjack Hunter’s wingman when cardinals are some seriously territorial birds has me like 😂. They’re known to square up with their own reflections for hours on end because they’re also all a lil stupid. The aggression lasts throughout breeding season, but has been documented to last even longer.
Based on this, below I wrote a few barebone snippets of varying length to distract myself from doom scrolling :) im not having a good time rn bruh i will not lie
UNEDITED. I couldn’t be bothered. This weekend sucked.
c/w: kissing (in last scene)
—————
“Flapjack! Flapjack, no!” Hunter scolded, scooping him out of Willow’s hair.
“Ah, ow,” Willow cringed as Flapjack tugged hard on the strand of her hair that he was refusing to let go of, “he’s still got my hair.”
“Sorry, sorry,” Hunter quickly removed the hair from his Palisman’s beak, “he isn’t usually like this!”
“It’s okay,” Willow smiled, rubbing the spot where Flapjack had pecked her much to Hunter’s mortification, “I’m sorry if I made him mad.”
He scowled at the tiny bird in his hands, who was squirming to escape and attack again, “You did nothing wrong, Flapjack—“ he gave the bird a little shake, “—is being bad.”
“Aw, he’s not being bad,” Willow wiggled a finger in front of Flapjack’s beak and pulled it back quickly when he made a snap at her, “he’s just being protective, is all! I must have spooked him.” She squatted down, and with a coo, apologized, “I’m sorry, Flapjack.”
Flapjack squawked back, and Willow looked up at Hunter for a translation. The way she looked at him made him hot, and he got lost in her smile.
“He said, he forgives you,” Hunter lied.
If anything, Flapjack had doubled down in his efforts to escape and attack, squawking up a storm as he spat threat after threat at the pretty girl in front of them. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Clover bristle, buzzing her way over to sit protectively on Willow’s shoulder.
His grip tightened around the bird, and he pulled the Palisman closer to him. “But, I think I should go throw him outside for a bit.”
—————
Willow gasped, pointing at the top of Gus’s head, “How in the world are you doing that!?”
“Doing what??” Gus looked up at her.
“He’s not attacking you!”
“Flapjack?” Gus snorted, reaching up to give the bird a few scritches, “Nah, we’re bros.”
“He must be finally coming around to us!” Willow cooed, reaching out a cautious finger to scratch him.
“Finally? What do you—“
“Ow!” She snatched her hand back, cradling it. The bite had broke skin, and a bead of blood bubbled to the surface. “Oh, snapdragons, that one hurt,” she hissed, bringing the finger to her mouth and sucking the wound.
“Willow,” Gus reached out, “are you okay!?”
“I’ll be fine, don’t worr—” She ducked, the blurry red dive bomb missing her by a hair, “Ah! No, Flapjack! No! Not my head!”
“Uhhh, Hunt—Hunter!” Gus cried, “Get in here!”
The older boy slid in a second later, eyes wide, searching for the danger. When he saw what was happening to Willow, he lunged for the cardinal, snatching him out of the air.
“Flapjack! No!”
—————
“I’m so so sorry,” Hunter groveled as he bandaged Willow’s finger, “he’s just—”
“It’s fine! It’s fine,” Willow waved off the apology with her free hand, “honest, Hunter, I’m not mad at you or Flapjack.”
“Besides,” She declared, sitting up a little straighter, “I’m completely confident I’ll win him over. I’ve got a habit of winning over the bad guys,” She winked at him, and blood rushed to his face.
“Ha, yeah, of course you will,” He smiled at her, fixing his gaze on their entwined hands, “he’s just—”
There was an offended squawk outside the window of the bedroom they sat in, and the two of them turned to look as Flapjack began rapid fire pecking at the glass. Hunter glared at Flapjack for a moment before Clover thankfully appeared from behind, chasing him off.
Willow giggled, “aww, it’s so cute how they play with each other!”
Hunter threw a dumbfounded look at her, marveling at how oblivious she could be for someone usually so astute. What was going on outside was most certainly not playing. It seemed more “to the death” to him.
—————
“Okay, everyone, dinner time!” Willow announced, walking into the kitchen. It was her turn on Palisman duty.
Ghost weaved between her legs, purring, as she got everyone’s meals together.
“Aw, aren’t you sweet,” Willow cooed, reaching down to scratch under her chin, “for you today, ma’am, only the finest of Gravesfield’s wet cat food. Don’t tell Amity,” Willow winked, placing the bowl down, “she thinks I spoil you.”
“I can hear you,” Amity called from the living room where the others sat.
“Ignore her,” Willow told Ghost, bopping her on the nose before turning to the next dish.
“And for you, my cutest little Clover,” Willow removed her Palisman from her head, placing her on the ground next to Ghost, “here is your nectar and apple slices. Apple skin peeled off, just how you like it.”
Clover gave her a cheerful buzz.
“Emmiline Bailey Marcostimo,” She nuzzled then removed Gus’s Palisman from her shoulder, “I hope you enjoy your hand-selected grubs from the Noceda garden. Still fresh and squirming, so eat up!”
“Finally,” She announced, turning to the bird that still lingered in the living room, glowering at her from Hunter’s shoulders. She picked up the fanciest plate Ms. Camila would allow her to put pet food on and approached him slowly.
“Flapjack, today, I have prepared something I think you’re really going to enjoy.” She presented the plate to the little bird, who hardly gave her the time of day, “A flapjack for Flapjack! I had Ms. Camila teach me how to make them! And you’ll find that I have topped it with only the best seeds, including cracked corn, striped sunflower, and sunflower hearts and chips, white milo, peanuts, and apple chunks because a little bird—” she giggled at her own joke, winking at Hunter, “—told me they were your favorite. Then to top it all off, I drizzled it in a light sunflower oil. I think you’ll think it adds a little something.”
Flapjack stared at her, and she swallowed nervously. She knew he had to be hungry. He was a very active bird.
“Do—do you want to try it?” She asked, holding the plate out to him, “Look see, the pancake’s shaped like you and everything!”
Much to her surprise and delight, he jumped on the edge of the plate and pecked at an apple. She held her breath, standing completely still, and resisted the urge to call out to the others. It seemed that Flapjack was finally warming—
A cold slice of apple chunk hit her on the cheek and Flapjack went back to Hunter. Taking the loose strand of Hunter’s hair into his beak, he pulled the boy backwards away from Willow.
“Flapjack!” Hunter hissed, shooing the bird away from his hair.
Luz swooped in to help, pulling Flapjack out of the air, “Aw, what’s the matter Lil Rascal, not hungry?”
Willow’s heart broke in two as she watched Flapjack nuzzle Luz’s cheek with a happy chirp.
“It is not poison,” Hunter scowled, responding to his Palisman, “eat your dinner.”
With a whine, Willow sunk to the floor and laid face down on the carpet. “Why doesn’t he like me! He likes everyone else!”
“Willow,” Amity tried comforting her, “he—he, uh. Well, Flapjack—”
“—he hasn’t tried pecking your eyes out yet!” Gus pointed out, ignoring the way Hunter vigorously shook his head, signaling him to shut up, “That’s something!”
She let out another long whine, “That’s because my glasses stopped him!”
—————
“Hunter!” Gus cheered through a mouthful of popcorn, patting the spot next to him on the couch, “Saved ya a spot, come on!”
Hunter shrugged off his jacket with a smile, and handed the milk and coffee creamer over to Ms. Camila before entering the living room. He fist bumped Vee as he passed her on the armchair, and carefully stepped around Luz and Amity snuggled up on a blanket palette on the ground.
“What we watching?” He asked plopping down next to Gus, commandeering the bowl of popcorn despite Gus’s protest. He shoved a handful into his mouth, resting his free arm across the back of the couch.
“Only the greatest movie ever,” Luz declared from the ground, “Azura: The Realm of Treachery. It’s not canon to the books, but it’s the only live action we’ve ever gotten from the series, so we forgive the inconsistencies!”
“Ahh,” Amity squealed next to her, doing a happy little dance in her blanket pile, “I can’t wait! I can’t believe this is actually real!”
“Oh, great, Azura.” Hunter drawled, handing the bowl of popcorn back to Gus, “So, this is going to suck? No—”
“Here! I got you your favorite,” Willow chirped, handing him a bag of hard candies and plopping down into the crook of his arm, “Luz says you can’t have a movie without the junk food!”
“—thanks.” He finished lamely, settling back into his seat.
“Willow,” Luz said confidently, “you’re gonna love this, I promise.”
“Totally will,” She agreed before giving Gus and Hunter a small shake of her head. Gus snickered, leaning back into the couch, and Hunter froze as Willow leaned over him to grab a handful of popcorn.
“Do you not like those,” Willow frowned, gesturing to the candy as the movie started.
“Huh? Oh, yeah, sorry,” He removed his arm off the couch and ripped open the bag.
Willow smiled, pleased she had remembered the right candy, and opened her mouth wide. He got the hint that she wanted him to give her a piece and he placed a candy on her tongue before flicking her nose and bravely throwing his arm back across the back of the couch. In a way, it was like his arm was around her shoulders, and the idea of it was enough to thoroughly distract him through the shit ass movie Luz was making them watch.
The three of them—and occasionally Vee—would send each other looks and hide their laughter while Luz and Amity cooed along to the movie in their own little world.
Somewhere in the middle(?) of the movie, Willow leaned closer into him, her mouth hot on his ear, “If they start making out, we’re spilling the popcorn on them.”
A smile spread across his face, and he leaned into her, “Captain, that was always the plan.”
She shivered against him as his breath tickled her ears, and he gave himself a mental pat on the back. One shy smile later, she was resting her head against his shoulder, and Hunter was sure that this definitely counted as cuddling. He steeled his nerves and let his arm drop from the couch to her shoulders, and to his greatest relief, Willow snuggled closer into him.
He was plotting his next move, when a flash of red caught his eye. Quickly, he shot his hand out and snatched Flapjack up mid-air before he could dive bomb Willow’s head.
“Ha! Gotcha,” He mocked, “too slow ya little shit!”
Willow still instinctively ducked as the rest of the room laughed.
“You’re getting faster, Hunter!” Luz cheered.
Amity gave them smug look, “guess that’s what you get for being so cozy.”
“Yeah,” Gus smirked, “leave a little room for the Titan guys.”
Willow covered her face with her hands, red in the ears, and over Flapjack’s indignant squawking said, “Okay, okay, I know, I hear ya. Too close. Got it.”
When they were able to start the movie again, Willow sat a whole couch cushion away from Hunter. Every few seconds, Hunter watched as she shot a cautionary glance at Flapjack, who stood guard on his shoulder. Clover, rustled out of a post-nectar snooze, now sat in Willow’s lap, glaring Flapjack down and buzzing for a fight.
To say the least, tensions were high for one-third of the room.
Hunter rolled his eyes, tossing a piece of popcorn to his Palisman. The lil’ shit didn’t deserve any, but he was still cute enough that Hunter quickly forgave him for being a complete cockblock.
Slowly, not to ruse Flapjack’s attention away from the screen, Hunter put his arm back over the couch, and stretched it enough that his fingers grazed against Willow’s back. She jumped a little, but when she determined it was him and not a ferocious pile of feathers, she sent him a tiny smile and leaned into the touch.
No one asked Hunter what his opinion of the movie was after it finally came to an end, which was perfectly fine by him. He had been too busy tracing soft patterns up and down Willow’s neck and back, watching as she shivered and chewed on her bottom lip to care about the movie. It was funny, though, getting to watch Luz quiz Willow on the movie because he was the only who knew why she couldn’t answer a single plot-related question.
Flapjack thought it was funny too, but for completely different (and mean) reasons.
(Willow was dumb. Flapjack was not. He was the superior birdy.)
  —————
“Phew, okay,” Willow sat with a huff, “chores done, Luz and Amity are on their data, Vee and Gus are with the other humans, Ms. Camila said she’d be home late—”
“—and the Palisman are all down for their naps,” Hunter finished, sighing in relief as he looked over at Flapjack nestling into Ghost away from Clover.
“Jeez, it hasn’t been this quiet here, well, I don’t think ever.” Willow mused, tapping her fingers on her knees.
“Yeah,” Hunter agreed, “just the two of us for what, an hour?”
Willow chuckled, “It’s almost too quiet. Titan, what are we going to do with ourselves for an—”
                                                           ------
Hunter moaned as his back hit the closed door to his and Gus’s bedroom. He grasped around for the doorknob, but Willow’s tongue was too distracting against his own. It took him a total of three tries to get the dumb door open, and when they were in, he toed it shut once more. Lip-locked, they stumbled across the room until the back of Hunter’s legs hit the bed.
He sat down, pulling Willow on top of him so she straddled his lap, and continued scooching up the bed until he was against the headboard. Her hands tangled in his hair as his roved around her body like he was depraved. She broke the kiss first with a wet pop and sat back for a moment to gulp in a breath of fresh air.
Hunter, on the other hand, was fine losing the brain cells, and wasted no time pressing his mouth against the nape of her neck. Breathing hard and without thinking, he rocked his hips into hers and pulled a sound out of her that he prayed to the Titan would haunt his dreams later on. He pushed Willow onto her back and she allowed him to slip a hand up under her shirt.
As fuzzy as his mind was in that moment, he still had the cognitive capabilities to realize that his hand up Willow Park’s shirt was probably the closest he’d ever get to any kind of “paradise.” He was mulling over the revelation when a blood chilling peck knocked on the door.
Together they stilled, panting against each other, and Hunter almost convinced himself it had just been a regular house noise when, again, there was peck on the door. Then, another. And the pecks continued until it seemed like Flapjack was trying to drill his way through the wood.
“Flapjack,”  Hunter groaned, letting his head fall into the crook of Willow’s neck, “go away, Hunter’s having alone time.”
The pecking stopped for one glorious minute, but the laugher Willow was trying to hold in escaped her, and the drilling started back up tenfold.
“Willow,” Hunter whined, “you blew it.”
She giggled, “I know, I know, but he doesn’t share well, does he?”
“I’m sorry,” He groaned, cursing the world to doom as he sunk further into the crook of her neck, “he’s just possessive.”
She pulled out from underneath him, laying back on her elbows. “I’m not mad,” She blushed and kissed his cheek, “unlike him, I’m excellent at sharing, and I respect dibs.”
“Dibs,” He snorted, rolling off her and onto his back, “is that what it’s called?”
She fixed her shirt back into place and smoothed down her hair before leaning over and giving him a final kiss. It broke too soon, so he pulled her back in for another one.
“We should probably let him in before he breaks the door,” She whispered against his mouth. He pouted, but let her go.
Willow stood up from the bed and smiled, “aw, come on, don’t pout, you’ll hurt his feelings!”
“He hurt mine first,” He moaned, tossing a pillow over his lap, and Willow laughed, opening up the door. She ducked as Flapjack swooped in, diving at her, and ushering her out the door.
“Sorry, Flapjack, I know. I’m going,” She giggled before turning to blow one final kiss at him, “see you later, Hunter.”
This didn’t please Flapjack in the slightest, but Hunter was smitten by it. A goofy smile spread across his face as he waved goodbye, and it didn’t go away until Flapjack gave him a good peck to the face.
“Ow!” Hunter hissed, rubbing his nose, “Flapjack! No!”

Daggers and Daffodils Chap.17
Dagur x Reader
In the time it took me to write this chapter I've gone through two separate chargers, since the one I shipped in broke withing the first half of the chapter. So that was disappointing.
But on another note, it's been a year since I posted the first few chapters! Thank you all for the support and interest in my cringy fanfic, and I apologize that in the span of a year I've only made this many chapters for Ya'll.                                   -Clover
Narrator POV
"Hiccup" Dagur greeted with a twisted smile. "I thought we could settle this like real Vikings" Hiccup said from atop Toothless. Dagur grit his teeth and quickly gripped the Skrill's ropes, "Me and my Skrill vs you and your night fury? I like those odds".  You yelled for him so stop as he pulled the reigns causing the Skrill to narrowly miss Hiccup. He swiftly dodged and flew away, making Dagur and the Skrill follow him.
A familiar roar graced your ears at Dagur's disappearance. With a smile you hauled towards the side of the ship, jumping onto Silver Tongue's back as in a fly by. "Good to see you boy" you chided, "did you miss me?". He huffed steam from his nose. A low growl eliminated from him as he caught a glimpse of Dagur, who was currently standing in a puddle of water as Hiccup goaded him. With a flash Dagur was launched into the water leaving the Skrill free to chase Hiccup.
Silver Tongue dove to catch up with Hiccup, and you were both flying side by side. "Thanks, it was getting really awkward in there". "I bet" Hiccup said, "But don't thank me yet" the two of you dodged a lightning bolt. "I'll lead the Skrill away, you get home". "I'm not leaving you alone with that thing!" you argued. "Don't worry, I'm not alone" he looked down at Toothless fondly who in turn gave a purr like agreement. Silver Tongue gave a sneeze to voice his disgust, "Allright then, seems like this one's ready to go home anyways. Stay safe" he nodded. You were just glad it was all finally over.
Some weeks later
...You don't tend to think of yourself as a superstitious person, as you don't believe in luck or curses. But this year has got you thinking. After all, how in Odins name is it possible for one singular person to be THIS unfortunate. Currently, you are hanging upside down by your feet. While training with Astrid and the others, Snotlout (not listening as always) had launched into Silver Tongue's side and sent the two of you crashing down, after he had already caused a chain reaction that launched a boulder towards Astrid. You sighed, closing your eyes as you contemplated your life choices. Your attention refocused as you felt the branch you were on bend and a familiar chuff sounded to your left. turning your head, you were met with Silver Tongue, comfortable in his usual sleeping position upside down. "You gonna help me or what?". He let out a light huff from his nostrils and opted to turn his head in a 180° away from you. Today was going to be a long day.
After the hassle of pulling both yourself and Silver Tongue out from the tree (him being a stubborn baby who was throwing a tantrum) you joined the others on the ground rushing to help the hurt Astrid. "Wh-what?" Astrid asked dazed and confused. "She has a possible slight concussion, but thankfully nothing seems broken. But she could have been seriously hurt" you said, giving Astrid a once over inspection. Despite your urging for her to sit and rest she used your side to help stand.
"You have no idea what you did?! Do you?!" Hiccup yelled at Snotlout.
"Yeah, Hookfang and I made the coolest trick shot ever".
"You almost got Astrid killed!".
"Oh, come on she's fine, look at her". Astrid was slightly curled clutching her left side which most likely took the blunt of the fall. "Yeah, no thanks to you" Astrid threw herself off of you and lunged at Snotlout, only barely being caught by Hiccup first.
Rushing over to the three you hoisted Astrid to her side and led her towards Stormfly so she could sit.
"Thats it I'm tired of this" Hiccup said.
"I'm tired of this!... What are you tired of?" Snotlout asked.
"You always have to do things your way. How can we rely on you if you don't do what we ask?" Hiccup reasoned, you and the others silently watching the conversation that was months overdue.
"So! What are you saying Hiccup" Snotlout taunted with his arms crossed.
"I'm saying until further notice, you're suspended from the academy". A gasp erupted from the others and Snotlout stood mouth agape for a second before falling back into his stubborn childish snark. "You can't ground me! You're not my dad!" he said puffing his chest out. Hiccup leaned in, apparently wanting all of the smoke, "oh yes I can".
"Boys!  Thats enough, we need to get Astrid home now" you interrupted their standoff. "Hmmf. Watch!" Snotlout yelled indignantly, mounting Hookfang and taking off. "Ground this dragon boy" he yelled as he flew away. "Um, am I wrong in thinking that grounding means staying on the ground? Cause that looks a lot like- ugh- skying" Tuffnut said flapping his hands.
"You didn't have to do that for me Hiccup" Astrid said. "If we can't count on him in practice, how can we possibly count on him the next time we run into Dagur".
"Easy" said Tuffnut, "We throw Y/N in the opposite direction, so Dagur follows her, and we can catch him by himself, then tell Snotlout that somewhere on one of Dagur's ships is his father's approval". You shot him a glare. "What, just being honest".
_______________________________________________
"Hello Mr. Nightfury, how are we doing today?" Dagur asked the picture against the wall. "Happy? Feeling Hiccupy good? It's just a big wuv fest over on Berk, isn't it?" Dagur continued to talk to the picture as his men stared awkwardly, too scared to interrupt one of his delusions fueled rants with inanimate objects.
"Dagur" Savage called entering the room, "I have news regarding our latest dragon root tests". "What did you call me" Dagur's eyes narrowed dangerously on the thin man, promising death if he didn't backpedal immediately.  "R-right, sorry. Your derangedness".
"Ah, rolls right of the tongue, doesn't it?" his sarcastic smile returned. "Ugh, yes. Anyways, the test worked exactly as you thought it would, the wild dragons starve for it like, well, wild dragons".
"excellent" he laughed, "What shall we do next, so many options".  Savage thought for a moment, "What if we kept an eye on Berk for the right time to plant it".  Dagur fiddled with his axe deep in thought, "So simple, yet so, deranged. I like it! When the time is right, we will put my plan into motion and both the Nightfury and Y/N will finally be mine!". Dagur quickly broke into loud maniacal laughter before a thought entered his mind. "Oh, should I get Y/N some flowers" Savage and the rest of Dagur's men stood on edge, scared and surprised by yet another 180 in Dagur's mood. "Purple brings out her eyes, I'll get her a wreath".
"SAVAGE!" He screamed making the pathetic excuse of a Berserker scamper over quickly. "Make my love a wreath". "Right away your derangedness" He watched as Dagur exited the room, dying on the inside at the fact that he had absolutely no idea how to make one.
_______________________________________________
Today was academy cleaning day, Astrid was busy polishing Stormfly's saddle while the twins planned to expand theirs into Snotlout's. You on the other hand were busy reinforcing the beam on Silver Tongues pen due to his weight straining the wood when he slept hanging. Your attention was drawn to the sound of Hiccup and the twins. "No one is knocking down anything. I will talk to Snotlout when he comes back" Hiccup stormed out of the academy towards what you would guess was the house.
Cleaning has been rather therapeutic as of late, sure your bad luck was continuing it's streak this morning, but now you could relax and finally enjoy some peace and quie- "OW". You pressed the wrapped block of ice harder on Snotlouts head before rooting through your bag of herbs. A barely awake Snotlout had arrived with none other than Alvine the treacherous, who was currently standing trial in the great hall. "Any idea when he'll wake up?" Fishlegs asked. "Considering he was semi-conscious when he showed up, any damage should be minimal, but that leaves a large window for how long he'll be asleep. As if to mock you once again, the universe chose now to be when the idiot would open his mouth. "Ah! Big! Nasty!".
"Slow down," said Astrid "What's going on?".
"The island. There was a wrecked outcast ship, and Alvin was on it". "We know that already," said Astrid.
"No! That wasn't all, the Screaming Death, it was there". The rest of you exchanged glances.
"We need to tell Hiccup" You nodded.
Once you had told Hiccup about the approaching screaming death he had gone into protective overdrive and began to have you all run closed space drills withing the academy nonstop. With the exception of Snotlout who despite his protests was still under suspension. "You can't take away my dragon. Hookfang!" The sadness and desperation in his voice as he watched his dragon get locked in his pen made your heart twist. It wasn't as if he was the only one being locked up. All the others were too (minus toothless and Meatlug) but it left you disappointed in both Snotlout and your brother.
_______________________________________________
Unknown to you, you were being watched by Dagur atop a hill. "Perfect, the dragons are locked up in the arena. Don't worry my love, we'll be back home soon enough" Dagur cooed as his spyglass singled on you exiting the pens. "By the time Hiccup and his dragon dunderheads get to them, it'll be too late" Dagur devolved into his trademark deranged laughter. "Wait!" Savage flinched at his volume. "Where is her wreath?" Savage swallowed thickly as he handed Dagur the crudely made circles of sticks and- flowers? They were likely from weeds. Cue a blowup from Dagur, "You idiot! You're supposed to trim the stems so there aren't any thorns! And what in Thor's name is this supposed to be?!" he pointed to the wilting leaves. Savage leapt to hide behind the dragon root crate as Dagur threw the wreath at him. His rage swapped for a cavalier dismissal as he turned away "I have to do everything myself. Figures".
_______________________________________________
That night you were awoken by the sound of the warning alarm. Scabbard was quick to crawl onto her spot on your shoulder but was met with hands lifting her back onto the bed. "Not tonight, Scabbard, you need to rest" after two long back-to-back trips between Outcast Island and Berk in a single day she was exhausted. She let out a small chirp of indignation before deciding that the crisp sheets and warm animal hides were too tempting to ignore. You, Hiccup, and Toothless rushed out from the house. Flying above the pens you saw the dragons attacking one another. "Dragon root" Hiccup exclaimed. Landing at the entrance you and the others gathered.
"Dagur put dragon root in the arena so the dragons would attack each other".
"Hiccup" Snotlout came running over, "Listen I need to tell you something".
"Snotlout, not now" Hiccup said.
"It's important I-" "I said not now! Fishlegs, this is all you. Toothless and I can't go in there because he'll be affected by the root. You and Meatlug have to get in there and get the root out, while the others distract their dragons".
At once the gate opened and each of you booked it towards your dragons. Silver Tongue however was nowhere in sight. You used your dragon call only to receive a loud screech from above. Silver Tongue was gripped onto the arena's chains looking at you with savage eyes. To add insult to injury he came down in a way that would leave you with nightmares for months. Instead of leaping down towards you, he opted to slowly scale down the chains while rotating his head in the complete opposite direction of his body, to make his head appear as if it were standing still, as steam puffed out from his nose, and his bloodshot eyes stared at you narrowed and unblinking.
"Silver Tongue, I'm gonna need you to snap out of it, and stop being this creepy right now!" he lounged at you bellowing a roar. As he chased you, you were barely able to avoid his fire by staying in the small pocket in the center of his fire ring. Once Meatlug and Fishlegs grabbed the root you ran as quickly as possible towards the gate. The gate suddenly began to close, and out of instinct you were just able to make it out by sliding on the ground.
"What the?" Fishlegs exclaimed, now trapped inside along with Ruff and Tuff. You, however, were met with two Berserkers trapping you against the gate. You drew your sword, grateful to see Hiccup and Toothless land behind them.
"Open that door right now or-" "Or what?" Dagur asked, a number of Berserkers surrounding you all with crossbows. Hiccup grit his teeth. "Dagur what do you want?".
"What I've always wanted, Y/N, and the Nightfury. Hand 'em over, and we leave peacefully that's your choice. Your dragon and your sister, or your friends". A smile broke out onto his face, "Isn't this exciting! What will be choose ladies and gentlemen?!" He looked to your friends who were beginning to struggle to fend off the dragons. "We can't keep this up much longer!" yelled Fishlegs.
"So, Hiccup. What's your answer". Before Hiccup could get a word in, your father answered for him. "The answer is, we run you through and open the gate ourselves", with a cry him and the other adult Vikings of Berk charged at the Berserkers. Using the distraction, you slammed the hilt of your sword into one of the Berserker's nose and swept the leg of the other.  With the two guarding the gate knocked out, when the gate opened the others were free to escape. However, when flying out with the dragon root, Fishlegs flew too close to the ground, resulting in him accidentally hitting Stoick and knocking him out cold. "Sorry chief!" He called. "Darn it Fishlegs!" you exclaimed running to your father's side. "This is what I get for being the only trained battle physician on Berk".
Dagur surveyed the battle which was no longer in his favor. Savage limped towards him, clutching his side "Our plan has failed, we must retreat". Rage pooled into his body causing him to clutch his head tightly in an effort to quiet his racing thoughts and give himself a cruel sense of comfort "I'M NOT LEAVING BERK EMPTY HANDED!". Looking around once more, some of his anger dissipated into sly joy, as he made out your figure over an incapacitated Stoick. A grin stretched across his face, "follow me" he called.
"My love" you heard the sickeningly sweet yet taunting voice of Dagur behind you. Swiftly you grabbed your sword and turned to face him. "Now now, let's not be hasty" he raised his hands in an attempt to calm you. Without a word you ran at him swinging your sword. Dagur let out a small yelp, genuinely taken aback that you were attacking him.
"This is a bit much, my love" he dodged your attacks with relative ease, before slipping behind you. He wrapped one hand around your sword, prying it from you in favor of intertwining your fingers. His other arm wrapped itself around your waist and other arm, pinning you against him in a sort of mock dance position. Having you up against him brought Dagur endless enjoyment as he forgot that the two of you were supposed to be fighting as he began to slowly sway you both.
"You kidnaped me and threatened my dragon, this is tame" distracted by the smell of your hair, Dagur was caught off guard when threw your head backwards, landing a hit directly into his nose. The arm around your left arm and waist released allowing you to pull yourself apart from him. However, when you tried to run to your fallen sword you were stopped by the firm hold of Dagur's still interlocked fingers. Looking back, you see that Dagur, though still gripping your hand is curled over gripping his face. A quiet almost squeakish laugh escapes him as he shakes his head slightly. Dagur looks up at you smiling like an idiot, his pupils are dilated and focused solely on you, and for a moment you almost thought they were shaped like hearts. As if the universe could already tell your heart rate was exploding (and not out of fear), a stream of blood fell from his nose, trailing over his lips. Despite the smell and taste of iron pooling in his nose and against his teeth Dagur ignored it. No, it didn't matter. What did matter was the absolute look of shock and flustered surprise painted on your face.
This moment, however, was interrupted by a number of Berserkers raising their swords towards Stoick and threatening you to comply. And Dagur watched as that shocked and dare, he says shy look on your face faded. Replaced with a look of rage and contempt. Despite every ounce of his being screaming at him to rip their heads off, his attention refocused. Not the time, not the place. That was ok though, soon he would be able to spend every moment staring at that awe filled face. But for now, he had to get you out of here.
"I suggest you listen to them, my love" your nose scrunched as you looked over to your dazed father with several swords pointed at him. "Fine" you said begrudgingly. Dagur's men tied up your father and took used the both of you as hostages.
"Nobody moves. We'll be leaving now. And if I see one dragon following us, rider or not, you're going to be looking for a new chief" His prideful and cocky grin hadn't left his face once as you escaped Berk without so much as a hand raised to stop him, neither did his hand around yours.
Yup, it's a fact now, you have terrible luck.

What about Riddle and Azul? Both their boyfriends have heterochromia eyes.
You know those kinds of asks are not helping me get FIBIB chapters out faster? I love them, but they're not helping me focus because, I got brainworms!
The problems for mermaids and soulmates is that colors are not quite as visible underwater depending on the depth. As long as you live further down than 20 meters, some colors are not going to be visible no matter how hard you tried. Most mermaids city were at least a 100 meters underwater. Azul grew up in a district that was 200 meters underwater. At that depth, Azul could mostly see in shades of blues. He only discover what where his missing colors at 5, when his mom took him close to the surface for the first time. Anything green or yellow were lost to him. There was two options as to why he wouldn't be able to see two colors. Either he had two soulmates, or they had heterochromia. It wasn't that rare amongst mermans, so that was quickly considered as a possibility.
It wasn't the case for Riddle. When Riddle couldn't tell apart yellow or green and that his mother realized why, she was apoplectic. Her son? Two soulmates?! What would people say! No, this wasn't acceptable. She made Riddle lie about his condition. And she 'trained' him into recognizing the colors he couldn't see. Riddle was also forbidden to seek his soulmates under any circumstances. And Riddle obeyed. He never said a word about it to anyone, well, almost anyone but he made them swore to privacy. 'Thankfully' Riddle had grey eyes. 'They won't even know they're missing you. As long as you keep quiet then you're not going to embarrass us.'
Jade unlike Azul knew from a young age what color was missing in his life. He wasn't able to see the color of the ocean he was living in until he met Azul. Before that the world was mostly grey, it made him almost near sighted. He coped with it well, but when he gained the ability to see blue it was disorientating. Though it was a welcomed change. What truly amused him was that it took Azul way longer to realize it. It was months until they went to close enough to the surface for Azul to realize he could see yellow and green. Actually it was on the day of that museum visit. So Azul's insistence of destroying the pictures of that day chagrined Jade. Still, Jade little game did not end that day. He and Floyd kept him guessing for weeks, but he ended guessing that Jade was his soulmate after Floyd slipped up. Azul tried to downplay how happy the revelation made him but Jade wasn't fooled. He didn't call him out on it either. It was funny to see him pretend it didn't affect him.
Floyd wasn't missing any colors. They often brought him near the surface but Floyd had no issues seeing colors. It was just whatever. He wasn't interested in all those soulmates stuff. Sure Jade and Azul are pretty happy with what they got but Floyd never felt lessened by his lack of soulmates. If he had one they would probably be a drag to deal with. Floyd was better off making his own fun without having to worry about someone else. Besides Azul and Jade no one made much of an impression anyway. Well until he got to the surface. The night when he saw Riddle's eyes for the first time, all he thought was that they were really pretty, and then he was flying 5 meters up in the air and landed on his butt. That got his attention, and he wanted to see more of the other that was already making wave by taking over his dorm, but Riddle? Riddle was avoiding him. The more he tried to evade him the more Floyd was getting obsessive.
Jade and Azul took note of Floyd's increasing obsession. They were willing to dismiss it at first, but that obsession perdured. And while Riddle's avoidance of Floyd could be chalked up to simple survival instinct and common sense, they came to realize that Riddle was hiding something. Now they had to figure out what it was, unfortunately they were facing a rather annoying obstacle : Trey Clover. Riddle's Vice was quite the bodyguard and approaching Riddle when he had his guard down (an already rare occurrence) was complicated. For a whole year, they were not getting anywhere. What was frustrating was that Trey clearly knew what Riddle was hiding. Azul had nearly tore his hair out in frustration more than once because of him. Jade however had a feeling that while Trey was trying to protect Riddle, he was also gauging them up and encouraged Azul and Floyd to somewhat behave. Trey was testing them, to see if they were a threat to Riddle, and they needed to show themselves as... well not that malicious. No way they would fool Trey in seeing them as trustworthy.
It paid off eventually. One day, right after Riddle had his Overblot Trey approached him and asked Jade and Floyd if they would be up for a little cooking sessions. They accepted, not quite sure what to expect. Trey offered them to cook a lemon pie with yuzus and lime. Floyd at first was not all that into it but Jade dragged him along. They were done with the pie and in the middle of eating it when Trey thought he would share a little story with them.
'I tried to teach Riddle how to bake a pie at the beginning of the last year. It was a lemon pie like this one, with yuzus and limes. I put them in different bowls exactly like those.' He said gesturing to the limes in the red bowl and the yuzus in the blue one. 'I didn't want him to get mix up, but teaching Riddle isn't easy you know? I was a bit frustrated at the end and I forgot what colors the bowls were. So I asked him to hand me the yuzus in the red bowl.'
'Okay so what?' Floyd yawned. 'Just because you said the wrong bowl color, doesn't mean Goldfishie would get mixed up.'
'You're right, still I was really surprised. I really thought he would mix them up.'
'How?!' Floyd was getting annoyed. 'Yuzus are yellow and limes are green! How could anyone get it wrong?'
...
.....
'He's really not getting it?' Trey chuckled.
'No worries.' Jade smiled. 'I'll explain it to him later. However, I wonder why wait this long to tell us?'
Trey smiled had disappeared. That day was the day they learned of Mrs Rosehearts, and they both agreed they did not like her. But things were much clearer. Floyd was more determined to chase Riddle now, but Riddle wasn't ready to face him. He did his best to hide from him. It was hurtful, so Floyd in a pedantic way, decide to trick two of Riddle's student into their latest scam. If only he knew how it would end. Seeing Azul Overblot, and Jade's panic as the colors of their bonds was taken away from him. Sevens it had sucked. It also made Floyd realize something.
He was a pretty lousy soulmate. When Riddle Overblotted, he had been completely unaware of it. He hadn't even notice that some colors had been taken away from him. He hadn't known about his lousy mother or notice how much he had been struggling. No wonder Riddle was running away from him.
When Riddle heard of Azul's Overblot, he knew he couldn't ran away from Floyd anymore. He was still struggling with coming to terms about the nature of his mother. However he knew that Floyd was aware of their bond by now. (Trey you snitch!) And with what happened to Azul, Riddle would be a terrible soulmate if he didn't man up and check on him at the very least.
Their conversation was awkward as for once both of them were feeling really inadequate. Azul, who was spying on them because when else could he get an occasion to observe his rival in a vulnerable position was getting frustrated seeing them like that.
Well, time to make them owe him one. Azul decided to meddle, with Jade's approval, in their relationship. He would invite Riddle over, or send Floyd on errands that would make them interact more. Unfortunately, progress was painfully slow. By the time he and Riddle were kidnapped by Idia's organization, Riddle and Floyd's relationship was not where Azul and Jade wanted it to be. So when they ended up waiting for the spear to charge, Azul forced Riddle to have an heart to heart with him. Riddle explained what was holding him back and Azul shed some light about Floyd and showed to Riddle that he was more than capable of handling anything his mother may try to break them up.
Meanwhile in NRC Jade and Floyd were left getting stir crazy. Once violence, destruction and teasing weren't enough to distract them from the fear of never seeing their soulmates again, all Jade and Floyd had left was talking. Floyd admitted that he thought of himself as a lousy soulmates and Jade shared his experience on the subject.
Once Riddle and Azul got back, things were still a little awkward but by the time of Lilia's party came, things had improved to the point were Riddle and Floyd had considered the party as an unofficial first date.
Jade, Azul, Riddle and Floyd all fell near each other as the Prince of Briar Valley unleashed his anguish and sleep befell the Isle of Sage.

I had a very very busy day! I honestly feel so tired now. And honestly very sore. But that's mostly because I fell down the stairs.
I did not sleep great. The blankets wouldn't lay right and I kept waking up. I did sleep but it just wasn't very good. I don't remember James leaving but I was glad to know they made it home safely when I woke up at 930 and wasn't feeling great but I knew I would feel better if I actually got up.
And I did feel better. I got dressed and I felt cute but also this shirts neck drove me insane all day. I will have to stretch it out next time for sure.
I was very single minded today. Go and get the table. Get paint. Paint bathroom. I couldn't do anything else. I didn't even want to stop and eat breakfast. I grabbed the last cupcake we had and a drink and headed out into the very cold day.
I went directly to second chance. The parking lot was still very icy but I was careful. And went right to the tables.
I found both gate tables. I decided that I would get the lighter table, both because it was slightly cheaper, and because it actually still had it's chairs while the darker one did not.
I had to love a bunch of other chairs to get to the table to see if it was broken. It is missing a part but it is something I can fix so I'm not concerned. A nice man who worked there came over to chat and I told him about the table and that I wanted it so he made a sale sheet for me. And gave me an extra 15% off! So all in all the table and four chairs that nest inside it was $88! I was thrilled.
I knew it would take a few minutes for them to take the table to the dock. So I wandered around a little. I looked at all the sofas but didn't see anything I liked. That was okay. I think we will end up getting the new one from Wayfair but we will see. I'm not in a huge rush about that.
I went and paid for the table and was in a great mood. When I drove my car to the dock the workers were really nice and helped me get it in the car. I wasn't sure if I would be able to pick the table up to bring it inside the house but I would tackle that later.
It was time to get paint! I went back to the first restore that I was at the other day because they had a lot of paint supplies. And I figured it would be cheaper. And it was a great deal. Two pain rolls. A scrapped. A pair roller. An extender stick. And three trays. $12. Amazing.
I went to Home Depot next. I had thought maybe I would get paint at the restore but they did not have the color I wanted. I was nervous about getting paint mixed. I have only done that once and it was at least 10 years ago. But I did it. The girl at the counter was really nice.
I chose a green called clover. And a blue called adventure. I was very dumb and did not remember to bring the paint chips I had the other day so it was a bit of guessing but I think I did a good job. And it wasn't to expensive or even that much more then at the restore.
They did accidently mix the wrong green at first but I'm really glad I noticed that the name was wrong on the can before I left.
I would also get a bucket and some spackle. And then I was off to the new house.
Callie sent me a text and asked if I wanted to hang out. And I was like. Do you want to come to my new house and help me paint?? And she was so down. And I was so grateful for the help.
I got to the house and started bringing some of the stuff inside I had brought. The tools and such. But as I went back to go get the chairs I fell down the stairs!!! When I got there the stairs were really snowy but I brushed it all off and was thinking it was fine but it turns out there was a layer of icy on them and I fell from the top.
Thankfully I did not hit my head but I brushed my leg, back, and arm. And was embarrassed but no one seemed to see me so there was that. I was just a bit shaken up.
I quickly texted Callie to please be careful on the stairs. And told James and Jess I fell. But then I jumped right into my plans for the day.
First thing after I got everything inside I started using tape to map out the furniture and beadboard in the living room. This was very fun for me. And cemented my idea about what will fit in the space.
It took a long time though. Measuring and checking my math and trying to make things straight. But it was fun.
Soon I heard Callie outside and went to get her. And this was the first person I got to show the house and I was very excited!! I was also just excited to see her. And she has the best energy and is always excited when I'm excited and let's me feel more excited. She's great.
I showed her all the different rooms and what I had worked on. And after we had looked all over I got the bucket where I had put all of the paint supplies and we got to work.
I was so happy when she offered to tape all the edges because I was absolutely not looking forward to that and was going to try to get away with not doing it. Which would have been very dumb. While she was taping I was taking off plates and patching holes (poorly, I forgot a hammer and sandpaper) but we were such a good team.
I put on a podcast and we listened to a lot about bad guys during World War Two. I was excited to share a podcast I love with Callie and she really seemed to enjoy it. And we were just s really great team.
The color of the bathroom is not quite as bright as it seems in pictures. It's darker in person. And I think my fairy meadow theme is going to look so nice when it's all done.
Half way through painting I remembered that me and my brother had a green bathroom in the house we lived in when I was a teen. Loved it then and love it now.
After I rolled everything I could, after cleaning up all my splatters and drips, I was losing steam. I told Callie I hadn't eaten and that once we were done the first coat we should go get shake shack. But there was still all the edges to paint.
Callie offered to step in. And she is so lovely for that. She also shared her caramel corn which kept me from getting all low blood sugar shakey. Appreciate her so much.
While she was reaching all the tall parts I collected all the trash and decided to tape off the bedroom too to see how the bed will fit. And it will be mostly bed for sure but I honestly think that will be really nice in the end.
I went and wiped off the table and chairs from the warehouse dust. And put them all together and tried to fix the missing piece with the few things I had. But that will have to be something I fix for real later. But for now at least all the chairs are together and the table it in its temporary place.
I washed the brushes and the roller and we called it good. I was really excited at our hard work. We decided we would take my car and then after we ate we would go back to the apartment to get her painted pottery and the magnet I made her and we would grab a few more things to bring to the house.
And this was a great plan. We each got sandwiches and we shared some spicy cheese fries. Which were not unreasonably spicy like the last ones I got at shake shack. These were good. And I had fun telling her about me and Jess's Disney trip next week. Which I'm so excited for. And it was just really lovely getting to share my excitement with her.
She really is such an amazing friend and I'm so lucky that life brought us together.
We would finish eating and headed to the apartment. She said hello to Sweetp and we collected the boxes of frames and headed back to the house.
The sun was mostly down by the time we got there. We were both being very careful about the stairs. And I was super excited when my neighbor was outside!! Her name is Victoria! She was also using her windshield scraper to scrap the ice off the steps. I hope she is nice, she seems nice. She has a beautiful husky but I did not get its name yet. I hope we can be friends.
Callie would help bring in the frames but then she would be off. Big hugs and we said goodbye.
But I was not ready to be done. So I unpacked the frame boxes. And unpacked all of our magnets. I put most of them in the fridge and I even took the time to use our letters to put "welcome to James and Jesse's house" which made me feel really happy.
The paint can said I could do a second coat after two hours. So since I still had energy I did just that. I got very very hot and ended up taking my shirt off and taking the straps of my overalls down. And just painting topless. There's no windows in that bathroom so who cares. I put on music and painted until around 7. I will have to see tomorrow if it dries down nice but I think I did a good job. Hoping for very little crazy brush strokes anywhere. But I have plenty of paint for another coat if I need it.
I cleaned up and got redressed. And got ready to go. I love our new house and I'm just really happy.
I got home and was beat. My bruises were sore and I was very dirty. I got paint drips all over me and my phone. But it was fine. I took a bath. I washed my hair. And decided it was time to perm my lashes again.
It didn't go amazing but that's okay. The bath was really nice. And while I was doing my second eye James came home. The ravens won the game and James was in a good mood and we both rehashed our days and James reminded me we are going to dinner with their family tomorrow and that's just lovely. It will be nice to see them.
Now I am in bed. And I am hoping that I will sleep better tonight. And tomorrow I hope to move more things over and get some more work done. I am not to concerned though. I really think we are making great progress and Im really proud of us.
Sleep well everyone. I hope you are warm and home. Goodnight!!

Your eyes were closed as you sat in the middle of the field, silently feeling the gentle breeze that brought with it the fragrant smell of blooming flowers.
You certainly loved spring and the colors and happiness it brought with itself, if only you had some of it. You wanted to be happy, really, but it just didn't seem possible. You had never thought that your life would be reduced to this, falling head over heels for the 'unlovable' Gauche Adlai...
You didn't really know how it happened though and if you were to tell it to someone, they would certainly think of you as someone mad which was entirely wrong by the way. Yes, everybody thought of him as some emotionless freak when he was one of the most emotional people you had ever seen.
You truly did not know why it happened, maybe it was because of that rare yet wonderful smile of his or rather his love and affection for his sister, or... It was just him, just Gauche, and himself. But alas, your affections were in vain as you knew better than to expect him to love someone. Your love for him was just like in those poems that you read, secret and unrequited.
You took a deep breath before focusing on the task at hand which was watching over the orphanage kids as they played, they seemed to be enjoying themselves and nothing looked cautious. You idly plucked a flower and began to twirl it in your hand, picking on its petals as you muttered to yourself, he loves me, he loves me not only for it to end on the latter.
"See y/n, even the flower thinks that you are hopeless and miserable." You groaned.
"And why are you hopeless and miserable?" A voice cut in startling you.
You turned around, a hand on your rapidly beating heart, only to find standing there, the person who has occupied your thoughts. Gauche. As if your heartbeat wasn't fast enough, it got even faster as you felt heat rush up to your cheeks.
"And since when do you care? " You playfully asked back, you didn't know how you got the confidence but thankfully your voice did not waver.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked, taking a seat down next to you. "I do care about you..." he said. Your eyes widened as you interpreted what he just said, there's no way he said that. At least you knew that is not what he meant by it. "Always have..." he added in the end but not loud enough for you to hear it.
You turned towards him and found him already looking at you making you falter in your move. You couldn't comprehend the emotion on his face, it wasn't a frequent one like his annoyance or care for Marie, it was different. New.
"You care for my Marie and I appreciate that." He said, his tone softer than usual and you nodded in acknowledgment. See, it wasn't that after all...
You turned your head away, trying not to give away the obvious infatuation that you had with him and the disappointment from his words, and focused on his sister who was happily approaching you and her brother.
"Big brother you are here!" She said with a smile, hugging him as she did. He had his smile on his face, the one that was only for his sister, the one that you admired.
"Look what I made for you! Miss y/n said that you will love it." She said, showing him a daisy crown she had made, his eyes filling with love at the gesture before they flicked towards yours so fast that you thought it was a trick of the light.
"She was right, I do love it." He commented, oblivious of the effect it had on you. You seriously did not know how you were breathing till now but it certainly felt good.
You smiled as you watched her tell him about her week and how intently he listened to it. You watched as he smiled and as his voice was full of love when he spoke to her. It may seem weird to anyone how can someone like Gauche Adlai but for you, it was as clear as a day... Because you liked Gauche Adlai simply for being Gauche Adlai.

@hcllowedout continued from here
The weaver was waiting patiently in the living room of her siblings’ home uneasily for some confirmation that Pure was home. Normally she wouldn’t be this nervous but she had dropped by unannounced and let herself in the house. Sure, Ghost never minded when she did that and even encouraged her to make herself at home but this was different. Not only was Clover here with their extreme dislike of her but Pure lived here too and may not appreciate her just coming in like so. What if she upset them?
Thankfully though Pure’s trill cut through her thoughts to calm her a bit. Good, her sibling was home though it did sound like they were slightly strained. Perhaps it was just a bad day? Regardless she walks over to their door and gives a gentle knock, “I’m coming in Pure.” Naturally she would announce her entrance so she didn’t startle the Vessel. Hornet walked in and gave a little chitter in greeting as she approached and sat down next to them.
“I’m sorry to have dropped in by surprise, I just missed you and the others so much. Have you been well Pure?”

Euphorbia is so fun to write, I swear. Just an absolute mess who can't remember why she is just innately so determined to stick to these shitass missions given to her while also being wary of those doling out said missions. Just a very "Yes Captain" "Right away, Captain" kind of gal with a side of "bbygirl I know I am SO expendable."
And also the maiming.
She really did physically brawl with the Miss Fortunes twice, bit off part of Clover's ear (swallowing it while making deliberate and vicious eye contact) and after getting stabbed by Coin in retaliation for the above just before the battle with Lord Arcanine decided that the answer was to tear up her coat for a quick patch and go "Okay this battle has a timer before I pass out~ ^^"
I love my batshit insane little meow meow, have a snippet of the above scene;
Euphorbia swallowed, staring down the newly christened demigod as he took note of the others fleeing. Volo was thankfully among them after shouting those final words at her.
'I’m coming back for you.'
Foolish man. But at least he listened to her, even managing to enlist the help of the Miss Fortunes' leader in clearing everyone out. Volo had made this easy for her by doing as she asked, and if she lived long enough to see him again then Euphorbia had much to apologize for.
Her gut tensed, making the sharp pain in her side scream like a second crackle of lightning. There was quite a bit left unsaid, wasn't there? If she did perish without saying it though, he would never have to be burdened with the confessed adoration of a dead woman walking. This was not the first dive headlong into certain death, and should she make it through she doubted it would be the last.
She needed to do a split second checklist. It didn't have to be complete or even good, just serviceable.
One, control her bleeding.
Avoiding sudden movements, Euphorbia gripped the lower half of her undershirt and began to tear the dark, blood soaked fabric horizontally to expose her slickened midriff. Next, the haori tied around her waist was shed and the puffy end of one sleeve harshly ripped away. Keeping the bottom seam intact like an impromptu sash, the surveyor quickly set the fluff against her wound and tied it off to one side until it was all pressed tight.
Though she couldn't exactly ascertain how she had the knowledge to make the estimate, based on the location and what the depth felt like, she had an upper limit of fifteen minutes before losing consciousness if she was lucky. Around five if she wasn't.
There was a timer.
Two, control her breathing.
The more worked up she was, the harder this would be. Twolo was shaking enough for the both of them.
Whatever came next, she needed to be ready to accept it.

It’s been awhile but I figured I would give an update on some of the hens! 🐔 As always donations are super appreciated and more helpful than you could imagine. It’s been a very expensive last few months and I have another large expense coming up this week, so any help would be amazing.

So what has happened recently? I lost Paprika to cancer in her digestive tract. It was awful and heartbreaking, and I miss her. She was doing awful after suddenly losing a ton of weight and stopping eating, and went in for spay surgery as my vet thought she had an oviduct issue. Sadly it turns out she had cancer all throughout her digestive tract and this was not something that could have been prevented or fixed. I had to let her go.
Rosemary had surgery before her, and thankfully is doing great! She got an impacted oviduct and a lot of egg material was removed along with the oviduct in her spay surgery. Between X-rays and surgery, she was over $2000.
Now Clover needs surgery. She was having egg issues so I was already trying to get her in for a spay, but then she was injured. She got lots of X-rays and it was determined she possibly broke her keel bone. It was an extremely stress full few days trying to find out what was wrong, and I thought I was going to lose her to internal injuries. Thankfully nothing internal was injured! Broken bones suck but we an fix those. She is now doing awesome and feeling so much better, and has her surgery on Friday to spay her. After spending over $600 unplanned for her emergency trip and X-rays and second vet trip a couple days later, it’s been a lot. Her surgery like all the others will run me around $1800.
I’m running out of money and these girls get sick faster than I make money. Costs are rising for everything and it’s hard to keep these girls healthy when they have egg issues so young. Once spayed, they’re healthy for years. 3 of my hens are spayed, Clover will be the fourth. After that I have 3 more left to spay. Once they’re spayed I can finally stop worrying so heavily and costs will go down dramatically as reproductive care is the most expensive part of caring for these girls. I just have to figure out paying for Clover and my last 3 girls, and I can finally breathe. If anyone can make a small donation (seriously, even $1 helps!) I would appreciate it so much. These girls deserve the world, and it’s Clovers turn to get her life saving care.

Black Clover ch345
Poor Asta has to stay back while the enemy begins their attack but honestly it’s for the best. He’s not perfect with his zetten yet and I certainly don’t want him to get hurt too badly. I imagine he’s gonna make a grand entrance like he did during the Spade Kingdom arc after Nacht left him alone to finish training before entering the fray.
Tumblr media
Dunno how long that will take because this dude is certainly not going easy on him. Most panels make him look crazy too.
Tumblr media
And now that we got a better look at this other guy, he really reminds me of Rhya. Mostly by looks but he also seems kinda chill. He’s just sitting around, playing his biwa (? i think that’s the instrument he’s playing? if i’m wrong then i’m wrong, i dunno alright) and thankfully healing up Asta. Also, the cat is cute with its little scarf.
Tumblr media
Our boy really hasn’t been the same since arriving in the Land of the Sun. From not protecting Lily, to being defeating by Lucius and struggling against each of the Ryuzen Seven he’s fought with so far, Asta has been very doubtful of himself, which is so unlike him. He was incredibly strong at Spade, surrounded by the rest of the Black Bulls and full of confidence, and now it’s all gone. It’s kinda like his body and mind kinda reset itself without realizing.
Tumblr media
But sir, can you please chill out before you accidentally kill him? Sweet lord, the power and range they can achieve with just a simple katana is amazing.
Tumblr media
Asta I challenge you to start believing in yourself again! I know Yuno has been going around killing devils and whatever, but I dunno if he could’ve handled Lucius either. He respected the Wizard King just as much as Asta did so I don’t doubt he might’ve hesitated/been overwhelmed by him as well. The same if Yuno saw Lily get taken over by Lucius too. Our boys are strong sure, but I could see how their emotions and attachments to those involved could’ve got in the way, even just a tiny bit. Also, why did they have to make Yuno look so nice here?
Tumblr media
Anyways, back to the other five Ryuzen, and I was just starting to feel bad for this girl, like I truly thought she was actually scared to not only fight Lily and the other paladins but to see that five-headed dragon as well..
Tumblr media
But NOPE! No reason for me to worry!
Tumblr media
She’s actually just crazy. Good for her, drawing blood from Lily. Shame that it seems sister is already healing herself from the cut though. At least we know she can be injured.
Tumblr media
I wonder how well the five will fight against Lily, Heath, the other dude and the dragon all at once. Of course I’m exciting to see how Asta handles seeing Lily again, once he’s deemed worthy enough to join the battle anyways. Naturally I’m still curious about what’s happening back in Clover too. I miss everyone.

‘ we’ll be right with you nahida. ‘ from aether cuz they are now besties
clover themed gaze lifts from the nearby scenery,  curiously staring above at the blonde haired hero.   despite having been alive for five hundred years,  the dendro archon was still very uncertain about how to properly rule over her people.   ever since that day,  sumeru has taken a turn for the better,  especially without the sages in control of the region anymore.
still,  nahida couldn’t help but feel as if maybe she wasn’t doing it right,  was she missing something ?   was she living up to her archon status ?
Tumblr media
thankfully,  those words of encouragement,  reassurance that she wasn’t alone anymore,  knowing that someone will be by her side through it all,  it took a large weight off nahida’s shoulders.   “ you’ve already done so much for sumeru,  and yet you choose to still help me spread my wings instead of tending to your own needs   ...   thank you,  i appreciate the support wherever i get it from ! ”

My Review of Yuri is My Job!
Tumblr media
Random pick. That’s all!
Tumblr media
Hime Shiraki seems to be the fan-favorite at school. Her cute looks and good grades are a target for the males at her school. Hime doesn’t want to waste her time with those scrubs. Actually, her goal in life is to be some millionaire’s trophy wife. No lie, she’s a gold digger. Things take a sharp-left turn into WTF territory when she ends up in a bit of an accident with another young girl (named Mai Koshiba) and winds up working at a café because this girl broke her arm due to this accident.
Well, that escalated quickly.
Tumblr media
This place is known as Café Liebe and it has an all-girl school theme to it. By that I mean the girls who work there lay it on thick with the acting. Watching these girls felt like I was watching an over-the-top lesbian sim trying to be like Ouran High School Host Club. No lie! The girl Hime accidently hurt in the trip and fall is the manager for the café. So, I guess Hime is obligated to take over some duties here. Thankfully, the staff accepted the addition of a new member. Except for one girl (Mitsuki Yano). Apparently in their first act, Hime called Mitsuki “Onee-sama”. It did not go over well. Never call Mitsuki “Onee-sama”.
Tumblr media
Mitsuki is quite the actress as she puts on a sweet persona for the customers, but is very strict and to the point when it comes to Hime. Go back several years ago and you’ll find that these two were quite different. Yeah, these two share a colorful past. Back in elementary school, they wound up best friends. While Mitsuki was timid, she was able to hang out with someone as popular and outgoing as Hime. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding and a few too many little white lies ended this friendship. This ends with Hime being shunned by all of her classmates and Mitsuki transferring to a different school.
Neither girl forgot this moment in time. Now that several years have passed, are these two girls going to get along like they used to?
BETWEEN THE SUB: This of course is streaming only on Crunchyroll. It has nearly been a year since this first came out and there’s still no sign of an English dub. I swear, I find it funny when there are those seiyuus you can spot exactly who they are within a few seconds. Yukari Tamura is one of those people. Either that or after 15 years of watching Higurashi, her cutesy voice is permanently drilled into my brain. Speaking of Higurashi, do those café uniforms remind you of Satoko Hojo’s dress a little bit? Whatever! Here’s what you might recognize these folks from.
*Hime is played by Yui Ogura (known for Marnie on Pokemon Journeys, Vanica on Black Clover, Futaba on Magia Record, Sumika on Yuri Kuma Arashi, and Rinne on Vivid Strike)
*Mitsuki is played by Sumire Uesaka (known for Nagatoro on Miss Nagatoro, Shalltear on Overlord, Dekomori on Chunibyo, Angela on Carole & Tuesday, Chloe on Miss Kobayashi, and Aya on Tonikawa)
*Kanoko is played by Minami Tanaka (Lily on Zombieland Saga, Mary on Kakegurui, Nako on Hitoribocchi, and Hinata on Assassination Classroom)
*Sumika is played by Makoto Koicihi (known for Elza on Interspecies Reviewers and Young Jun on Tomo-chan is a Girl)
Tumblr media
SHIPPING: Hmm…oh, this definitely is a Yuri anime. It’s in the fucking title! But I can’t snuff out anything canon-y. Hime and Mitsuki are frenemies borderlining on reconciled friends. Yes, I realize I gave this particular ship a nod in my 2023 superlative list. If there’s more to go on like with more content, maybe I can get behind this. And no, the show they put on at the café is not a selling point just yet. It’s like watching all the flirting in Ouran, you just take the cheesy bait, sisterhood charms and all. For the time being, I’m just happy that these two are slowly on the mend after the fallout that happened years prior. But if I can’t go on about Hime and Mitsuki, what can I…?!
Tumblr media
Wait a minute! Hime’s friend, Kanoko. She always seems to be latched onto Hime. OH! She has a rolodex of pictures on her phone. I think we have a winner. I’m quite frightened by Kanoko as the series goes on. She’s giving off these crazy yandere eyes when she’s being asked about Hime. She wants Hime all to herself. She wants to be her one-and-only best friend and for Hime not to be involved in a love interest. And yet, she doesn’t want to step forward and go further by starting one with Hime.
Tumblr media
And that’s when Sumika gets involved. So, here I am wondering if Sumika is going to get romantically involved in this. She’s already had her heart broken prior to these juniors joining the café. But then I see Sumika with Kanoko a lot nearing the end of the series and wondering if she’s into her. Or if it’s just this kin-ship because both girls like someone who is definitely not into them.
ENDING: The café is now doing this weird election called the blume. Or something like that! Customers and the staff vote for who they want as Blume-sama. As per usual, Mitsuki seems to be the popular one to win. During this time, we start to see the anger arise from the soft-spoken Kanoko. It is quite clear she loves Hime as more than just a friend. Hime has helped Kanoko so much after meeting in middle school. Kanoko refuses to lose Hime to anyone, especially the one who hurt Hime all those years ago.
Tumblr media
This is when we see Sumika get involved with Kanoko. Usually, we don’t see Sumika get involved in anything. But due to these yandere-in-the-making circumstances, Sumika is ready to shed some light on her on past at the café. Sumika and this other girl named Nene at the café were “sisters” much like Hime and Mitsuki are currently. But then, Nene winds up being taken away by another employee in a romantic way and their sisterhood ended. If Sumika winds up Blume-sama, she’s going to make sure that everyone’s sisterhood will stick and not break off like what happened to her. And just as I thought, Sumika wound up the Blume-sama and it seemed like she issued what she wants to see at the café for the next year. Everyone seems satisfied with the results and Kanoko is finally calm and not teetering over the edge of no return. Sumika then has Kanoko become her sister at the café.
Tumblr media
The final episode we take a break from the drama of the Blume election and lesbian drama to notice that Mitsuki got a big rack. Yeah, that’s the dilemma of the last episode! First of all, how did nobody know that she’s got a big rack? I noticed it from minute-one! The summer uniform kinda drew attention to it that it was noticeable to the rest of the coworkers. This whole thing was settled by the halfway point and then we refocus on Hime’s ignorance at work. She’s not well familiar with everything on the menu yet and it still frustrates Mitsuki. So, Hime is still pretty bad at her job 12 episodes later.
Tumblr media
By the end of the final episode, is there finally some Yuri development between Hime and Mitsuki? I still don’t see it when it comes to Hime. Mitsuki on the other hand, we started to see some blushing. But by then, there was only two minutes left in the season finale and it’s like, what’s the point! I’m going to give this anime some credit here. At least the story didn’t drag on and on with this Hime vs. Mitsuki stuff and we got their backstory early on in the season.
Other than that, I feel like this series was a bit of a miss than a hit. I wasn’t expecting a full-on lesbian romance like Sakura Kiss and the concept of this café has its good moments. It’s just the whole Blume-sama situation fell flat for me and I’m just blah to everything. And I feel like many others are a little underwhelmed with this series as well. Saying that leaves me a little pessimistic about there being a continuation despite the manga still in publication and a lot of open opportunities for characters.
Tumblr media
For example, there’s still a chance we could see more from Sumika and Nene. Nene still works there, but she’s in the kitchen. Nene isn’t with that other girl anymore. Could there possibly be something more between her and Sumika? I know we had that exchange between the two near the end of the series, but still… Aside from that, Mitsuki opening up more about how she feels involving Hime could be something to come in the future. But that’s if we get a future to this. Eh, make up your own mind about this one. If you’re looking for a good Yuri to watch, Bloom Into You and Aoi Hana are still my go-tos.
Crunchyroll has the whole series available for streaming.

Tw: Mentions of Dead kids, Implied Alcoholism, blood, And just all around Angst.
And swearing.
Toriel took in a breath, Stalking through her home as she always did, She had abandoned the capital not to long ago, But that wasn't what irked her, It's that Asgore hadn't followed along with her.
Was she not worth it? Did the death of there children, Of there Human child mean nothing to him? Sure it was caused by other humans but..
But..
God damn it.
She slammed down her wooden spoon, She didn't feel like making any pie tonight, And she had gone out to look for fallen children, Twice in fact.
But there was nothing but a few blood stains from the first; Not chara, No back then there was far softer flowers to cushion the fall, No no, But that poor child.. she knows that horrid creature, That flower monster has somthing to do with it,
No human falls down with such wounds like that, she had tried to..
She takes in a deep, Deep breath as she lays down in her comfy chair, the chair creaking slightly, It was old, Possibly older then she was; With patches hear and there, The fire crackling behind her, Her breath quickening, Her chest felt tight..
She couldn't get her heart to stop. Beating.
She always hated that sound, the sound of a heart beat, ever since she was little, The constant thumping reminding her of being alive.
She didn't like it.
She didn't understand it, Nothing made sense anymore, Nothing was stable, Nothing was here.
Nothing, Not the noises of her children playing and breaking an expensive vase, No crying from a scraped knee, Nothing.
She found herself getting up, Not bothering with knowing where she was going, There was a place, or maybe there wasn't, She had no clue..
Her paw like feet make the wooden floors creak, As if crying out to stop stepping upon them, But she kept moving until she got to a certain room, She tore the door open almost breaking the hinges.
She dropped to her knees, when did she start crying? Had it been when she had been making the pie? Her panic earlier? She doesn't remember, She reached under the child's bed as she grabbed a small box, A green one Dusty, Making her cough as tears dripped down from her fur.
She opened up the box, A clover necklace inside.. No no, That won't do.. there has to be two, There needs to be to..
She throws the box on the ground, As if it burnt her, As she looks for somthing, Anything to replicate what she lost, Finally she finds .. somthing, a large completly sapphire ring from her marriage, it was rather large. Asgore wanted to 'Be Gracious and Give it all' for his wife.
Cowardly prick.
She melted the saphire in her paws, No longer caring, He abandoned her, Abandoned there children, He can burn, He can rot.
He can ... she focused on melting it, Once it was melted into a blue, Goo like substance, Thankfully not turning to dust because of magic, She set it on Her wooden counter Covered with a plastic bowl,
She was trying desperately, To recreate somthing.
But it was missing somthing, Somthing..
She listened to her beating heart once more.
She knew exactly what It was missing.
She went outside the kitchen, pulling out a pot of somthing special, dirt falling where it may, It didn't matter.
She was recreating somthing. Somthing special, And all who couldn't see it wouldn't matter, They were all cowards, Selfish prices.
She threw the echo flower in as if she was making some witch like Can coction, and eventually she pulled it out..
A blue, Blue echo flower necklace, She let it drop to the floor.
No this wasn't gold, What was she thinking.
This.. this wont..
She picked it back up, Looking down at it
Tears spilled harder and now she understands why,
One silly locket could never bring a child back.
She grabbed a blue box, Once used for storing shoes she never wore, and put the locket inside, as she sat it down beside her chair.
Maybe, one day.
A child will fall down.
Maybe one day, The heartbeat in the locket will mean somthing, ..she finds eventually she's fallen asleep again, A empty Glass in hand as her horns poke into the fabric of the chair, Her face pointed upwards towards the ceiling in a silent prayer, That the angels would hurry up.
And the supposed angel of the underground would find its way to her door.
Hopefully.
