Despite your coldness and the distance between you two, Harwin still cared about you. That's why when the servants woke him up in the middle of the night to tell him that you went into labor, he got nervous. You didn't let him be by your side while you gave birth, the only people you allowed to enter your chambers, besides the midwives, were your mother, your sister, and the queen. Rhaenyra also wanted to accompany you but the queen did not hesitate to close the door in her face.

Harwin wasn't the only one awake hoping that you'd finish the delivery and everything would turn out okay. Accompanying him in his chambers were his father, his brother, Corlys, Laenor, Daemon, and Rhaenyra. Your father had brought wine so everyone was drinking trying to ignore their worries about things that could go wrong.

The truth is Harwin felt uncomfortable by the presence of Daemon and Rhaenyra. He didn't understand why the man was there with them, yes Daemon was married to Laena but the prince could easily have continued sleeping. He had no obligation to be awake waiting to hear from you and the baby… Unless he was the father of your child and your new lover. Harwin shook his head and stopped drinking, the drink and his nerves were making him think of stupid things. He knew that you loved your sister and would never do anything to hurt her.

Normally Rhaenyra's presence always made him feel warm and gave him some kind of peace of mind but right now he wanted her away. At first, the atmosphere in his chambers was "calm" but that calm disappeared when a furious and injured Rhaenyra entered after you yelled at her that you didn't want her near her and that she will let you give birth in peace. The room was now tense. Corlys Velaryon was looking at them both angrily. Even his own father was glaring at them furiously. He knew that they expected him to drive the princess away but he couldn't do it.

The only person who didn't seem furious with him was his brother. Harwin didn't expect Larys to be next to him and appreciated it, he was sure he would continue sleeping but he appeared next to his father and sat next to him. He didn't say a word of comfort or try to distract him with a conversation, Larys had never been that kind of person but with his presence, he was already giving him silent support. Larys even didn't make fun of him when he spent the first hour pacing all over the room.

Your screams were heard again, and Larys was tempted to pour himself another glass of wine, but he didn't. He had to be sober when he met his son. He would start as a bad father if he was drunk when he first saw the baby. Besides he knew that if he turned up drunk you would be furious and kick his ass or you could ignore him for weeks.

Larys is not a fearful or nervous person. He couldn't remember when was the last time he had felt fear, nervousness, or anxiety. He knew it was foolish to feel that, you are a strong woman, you can fly on a dragon and he is sure that you are capable of defeating any man from the city guard, the birthing bed would not kill you. Besides, your mother took it upon herself to bring the best midwives to King's Landing to help you in the delivery and Alicent was by your side, she would never allow anything to go wrong.

He knew you would be fine but still, a small part of him was anxious. He hated feeling like this. He wanted to go to the black cells and torture someone until that horrible feeling disappeared. He wanted to stop hearing your screams and listen to the prisoners' screams as he pulled their teeth out. But then again, you'd be mad at him for doing other things instead of going to meet his kid.

It felt unreal. Larys never imagined that he would have a child. No father wanted to marry his daughter to a cripple and on top of that with a second son who was not going to inherit anything, so he never thought that he would marry and have children. And Larys was fine with it because kids in general were fucking annoying. But then Harwin neglected you and he managed to captivate you so you gave him a chance. It was not in his plans that you would end up pregnant. But it wasn't a problem, you looked happy even though he noticed that you were disappointed by his lack of reaction when you gave him the news. He wouldn't say specifically that he was happy but he could say that he was proud, proud that he had done what Harwin couldn't, and now the Strong line would run through his blood. Proud to see how happy you were as the child grew in your womb. He couldn't deny that he liked to see how happy you looked while you and Alicent sewed blankets for the baby. He also liked hearing how excited you were as you talked about the names you had in mind for the child. He would never forget the smile on your face when you took his and Alicent's hands and made them feel like kicking the baby for the first time. You looked happier than he had seen you in years. He was the one who made you happy, not Harwin.

The door was flung open and Laena appeared with a big smile. "Everything went well."

Of course, Harwin was the first to run for your chambers. Soon Corlys, Laenor, and Rhaenyra followed. They were looking forward to seeing you. They needed to see for themselves that you were okay.

Larys remained seated. Although he wanted to go see you, he knew he had to wait a while. It would be striking that he was so eager to meet his nephew.

"What are you waiting for? She wants us all there" Laena said walking in seeing that Daemon, Lyonel, and Larys didn't seem willing to leave the room. Larys was sure Laena gave him the longest look when she said "everyone" and as if she couldn't be more obvious she moved to his side "Come on, go meet your nephews" she commanded as she squeezed hard his shoulder. Perhaps from the outside, it looked like an affectionate gesture but he could feel how your sister was digging her fingers into him.

Laena had only found out about the romance between the two of you because your sister didn't know what privacy was and entered your chambers without knocking on the door. Even Alicent's children knew to knock on the door and get the other person's permission before entering a room that didn't belong to them.

After you two get dressed again, Larys had to endure some questioning from Laena. He thought he had had enough of her when "the Queen Who Never Was" forced him to join her at her tea time to talk about his relationship with you. He preferred the cold stare of a Rhaenys Targaryen to Laena's endless questions.

"I'm sure you are excited to meet your grandchildren too, Lord Strong," Laena added to avoid drawing Daemon's attention. She knew that you would never forgive her if she let your secret slip. She loved Daemon but you and Laenor came first.

“Grandchildren?” Lyonel repeated, shocked to have more than one grandchild.

"Twins," Laena replied, still smiling.

That was enough for both Larys and his father to get up and head to your chambers. On another occasion, Lyonel would have lightened his step considering the limp of his son but this time he was excited. Twins were not common in the Strong family.

Larys felt even more proud of you two but also a little anxious. He was just getting used to the idea of a single baby. Now there would be two of them and he had to work to make them both like him. What if they are identical twins and he couldn't tell them apart? Would you tell him that he is a bad father because of that? What if Harwin manages to distinguish them? Would that make you forgive his brother? He put those stupid thoughts aside the moment he saw Rhaenyra grumbling outside your door. Evidently, again they had not let her in.

“Princess, you should go rest. Lady Strong must be too tired to receive any more visitors. She will surely receive you tomorrow. We don't want to overwhelm the mother right now, right?" he said before opening the door and going inside, ignoring the incredulous look that the king's eldest daughter gave him for daring to throw her out.

The moment you saw Larys walk in, your face lit up. You had wanted him to be with you during the birth but it would clearly have been conspicuous in court for him to be at your side instead of Harwin. At least you could have Alicent next to you, she took it upon herself to wipe the sweat from your forehead and neck, clearly, that was a maiden's job, not a queen's, but no one said anything, and she let you take her hand without any complaints even though you were sure it would have marks from your nails. The presence of your lover, your mother, and your sister made the situation not so terrible. Without them, you probably would have been even more terrified.

The midwives had already left so now you could talk freely, with just the family.

"Come, my lord, meet your children," you said surprising everyone. You knew that Larys and your mother will argue with you for revealing the true paternity of your children, but you didn't care. You wanted Harwin and Lyonel to know that it would be Larys' blood that would carry on the Strong legacy. You were sure that both kept the secret. The Strongs needed an heir and you gave them two. Besides, despite Harwin's infidelity, he had some honor and you knew he would never do anything to hurt a child.

Larys wanted to be mad at you. You just put the children and yourself in danger. His father could order you and Harwin to go to Harrenhal to prevent you from continuing your relationship. Harwin might eventually tell the princess the truth. What you just did was stupid. Like it was stupid that he couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful you looked while you were carrying his son. He should be thinking about how to prevent his father from pushing you away or Harwin from opening his mouth but he could only think about you and the children. He loves you but sometimes he hated how stupid and weak you make him.

Harwin felt as if someone had repeatedly stabbed him in the chest at your words, confirming what he already knew. Larys was the father of your twins. He knew it the moment he saw Aethan's blue eye and the love in your eyes when his brother appeared. You used to look at him that way.

Now he understood why Larys had accompanied him all these hours, his brother was also worried about you and now he was the owner of your heart and with whom you share your bed. Harwin wished he could fool himself into thinking you were only doing this for revenge but he could see the love you had for Larys as you patiently explained how to properly restrain the children. Seeing them as a happy family caused pain in his heart. He always wished his brother happiness but he never imagined that it would be at his own expense. He couldn't be happy for Larys when those children were supposed to be his. You are his wife. He should be the one by your side as you proudly present Alyn to Lyonel as the future Lord of Harrenhal, not Larys.

Lyonel's eldest son knew that the gods were making him live this nightmare because he deserved it after all the pain and humiliation his romance with Rhaenyra caused you. But it seemed cruel to him that the gods had made the children look like he always dreamed his children would look like with you. He always imagined that they would have your beautiful silver hair and your mouth but they would have his nose and his eyes. The twins had slightly lighter skin than yours but there was no doubt that your blood had been stronger because they both have little silver locks, your mouth, and your beautiful brown eyes. Except Aethan also has an eye the same color as Larys'. That eye would always be a reminder to Harwin of who the father of your children really was.

Daemon entered your chambers together with your sister, finding Lyonel and Corlys holding their grandchildren without having any idea that he missed the Strong children's paternity reveal. Thankfully Laena had managed to distract him long enough for you and Larys to have a moment with your children.

BG3 Durge run: casualty list, sunmary etc. Durge spoilers.

I absolutely loved this run. Durge is like playing a completely different game! The plot is fantastic, and the dialogues are hilarious and very clever.

My Durge looks almost exactly like this! Love this tattoo design.

Party: Durge fighter, Astarion, Shart, random hireling sorcerer. Picking Duergar was a Choice, their movement is dogshit and they keep getting stuck on jumps 😭

Act 1

Gale: maimed, presumed dead. Unless Mystra took pity on him.

The Grove: bloodbath. Stole everything that wasn't nailed down.

Wyll: dead

Goblin leaders: dead. Minthara tried to shiv me when i picked Astarion over her, should have rerolled just to see her romance scene but it was late and I was tired.

Karlach: dead. Attacked me on sight yelling about the Grove massacre, which was weird but cool. How did she knowwwwww.

Laezel: dead, because she tried to shiv me when i was sick. Otherwise we were besties 😭

Act 2

Oliver: squished

He Who Was: openly likes me, headcanon dating.

Last Light Inn: bloodbath

Jahira: dead

Isobel: dead

Yurgir: freed from contract because i couldn’t trick him into yeeting himself

Nightsong: dead

Shart: Dark Justiciar mode.

Durge plot: think I'm figuring it out. Orin is getting slapped later.

Daddy Thorm: dead. Surprisingly easy to kill when everyone has misty step and range.

Githyanki plot: pretty much ignored.

Romances: dating Astarion, flirting with Shart.

Durge has slayer form which everyone else in the camp thinks is gross, but Durge absolutely loves it.

Act 3

Picking and choosing quests is fun! I'm already level 8 so can easily ignore stuff that feels too "good" to be of interest.

Somehow my general terribleness has made me Chronically Single. So I had to bang drow beef without the offer of a foursome. Sigh. Choosing the "kinky" options was hilarious.

Kissed and made up with Gortash. He's a good guy really, very swauve. Looking forward to killing him later.

Ascended Astarion. Went at level 10, fight was surprisingly easy now I know the mechanics of the power boosts. Also having Turn Undead is big and clever. Watching Cazador scuttle like a cockroach was very cathartic.

Murder tribunal: Met Saravok, he was fun! Chatted about the old days, killed an elephant, bathed in some blood. Good times.

Nightsong redux: Robbed Lorroakan while he sulked about the Nightsong being dead. Astarion can now summon Ghouls. (Genuinely, just hopped on downstairs and cleaned out the vault. Not a single combat reaction from anyone. Bugged? Or just wizarding hubris? Didn't try to take anything from the main tower tho as I didn't need the robes or staff.)

House of Grief: Shart turned about 1/4 of the adds to our side, so it was a surprisingly easy fight. Shart is now God's Extra Special Princess.

Orin: died in 3 turns, just went Slayer on her and ripped her apart. Fun! Astarion has a new sword.

Saravok redux: Durge has a nice new sword and hat. Although he did one-shot me at one point. Don't know why I expected anything other than a fight, honestly.

Gortash: roasted by the Netherbrain. Saves me killing him I guess. Bit annoyed that I couldn't loot him.

Ignored Raphael and Orpheus completely. Gave the Emperor the Netherstones. Pretty much zero Githyanki plot on this run, as it seemed pointless with Laezel dead.

Netherbrain: much harder with only 2 sets of allies! Blinding the dragon helped, and for some reason the mage got stuck and glitched, so I consider the fight Cheesed By Accident.

Ending: murdered the Emperor, dominated the Netherbrain, turned my party into thralls, ruled the world as Bhaal's Chosen. Epic end scene, absolutely brilliant. IN BHAAL'S NAME!

has anything been on your mind about Engage recently? I keep thinking about the fact that while we don't learn a ton about any of the countries, we learn a bit and, for most of them, can talk with the regular citizens on some of the maps...but not Elusia bc most of the people were killed off in Sombron's zombie apocalypse, and it just makes me wonder about what Elusia's people would have been like if survivors of the corrupted had appeared in the Elusia post-battle areas. Like, we can get some idea of what the other three countries were like from random NPCs, but not Elusia, and it's been haunting me a bit

Engage hasn't been in my mind as much lately because I'm too busy suffering through 3H and there's still no end in sight for that one, but on one hand I get why (especially because Sombron literally ate the only Elusian town we get to visit) and it is unnerving... but it's also a shame we get pretty much nothing about the Elusian commonfolk's lives.

Anyway, as to what I keep thinking about - I belive I've already mentioned this, but the fact that when Lumera finds Alear in Gradlon, there is seemingly no one accompanying her. What was she doing in Gradlon all alone?

And that got me thinking- by this point all of Lumera's loved ones are dead, Sombron seems undefeatable and she is the only Divine Dragon who's still alive.

My point is, she has little to no reasons to live by that point, and while I don't think she was actively suicidal... again, she was in Gradlon entirely by herself.

That's why she got so attached to Alear, I think. Not just out of sympathy for their plight, but because she could deeply relate to them despite the fact that, well. There's no way they don't have Divine Dragon blood on their hands.

So she goes back home in Lythos and invites Alear there and, well, we know how it goes from there. Lumera mentions having Alear as a child was her greatest joy and I honestly believe that's an understatement.

Lumera may have spent a thousand years giving Alear her life force and the means to come back from the dead twice, but Alear unkowingly gave her a reason to live those thousand years to begin with.

Their relationship is a lot more reciprocated than you'd think at first, and I just. Love them so much😭

Lumera may not have won the Best FE Parent Tournament but she's still best mom to me

THE DRAGON PRINCE SEASON 5 SPOILERS

So... my thoughts on season 5!!

Episode 1: Domina Profundis

- so I'm assuming Callum and Rayla talked after the events of Escape From Umber Tor because I expected them to be still a little awkward but they're not, it looks like they're friends again and that makes me so happy!!

- why does Rayla need to take off the nails on the painting in front of the secret passageway? Can't Stella just make a portal to the other side of it?

- okay I hate Karim but did the sunfire elf guard really have to take his ring? I think Janai would've let him keep it. And the guard was like "it belongs to Queen Janai now" and then proceeded to drop it on the ground. Wtf bro

- Opeli telling Callum why Rayla was arrested and Callum being like "okay, so what?" will never not be funny to me

- Callum really said "it's okay she just got too silly"

Episode 2: Old Wounds

- their little conversation about trust... they're healing their relationship YIPPEE

- domina profundis looks so fucking cool I wish we saw more of her

- I now expect to see Barius invent a new pastry every season from here on out.

- CALLUM DOING PUPPY DOG EYES AT RAYLA GAVE ME SO MUCH SEROTONIN

- watching Soren, Ezran and Corvus laughing about shit jokes did give me slight secondhand embarrassment but surprisingly it was kind of funny. Definitely an upgrade from the god-awful fart jokes in season 4

- THIS IS ONLY EPISODE 2 AND ALREADY THEY'RE GOING HAM WITH THE RAYLLUM CONTENT. THEY SPENT THE NIGHT AT A COZY INN TOGETHER. AND THE BANTER BETWEEN THEM AFTERWARDS IS SO CUTE. ugh yes s5ep2 "Old Wounds" my beloved (Actually I love the whole first 4 episodes but we'll get to that later)

- "I know dark magic created this place, but it's a bridge between our two worlds, and now here we are, crossing it together" I'm screaming.

- the banther chase was so cool! I love the battle duo dynamic Rayla and Callum have going on, and the way the banther was animated looked awesome. (Also I find it hilarious how when Rayla's arrow hit the Banther, it literally got right back up but it was like "actually, fuck this" and just dipped)

- Viren's dream sequence with baby Soren ripped my heart out

Episode 3: Nightmares And Revelations

- Ezran literally befriended the entire dragon population except Sol Regem, Rex Igneous, and the archdragon of stars (if there is one) (no moon archdragon I'm pretty sure? Because the last one was Luna Tenebris and she died) and I love that for him

- Callum's reaction to finding out Amaya and Janai are engaged was priceless. I was so excitedly waiting to see that and it was everything I'd hoped for.

- THIS WHOLE CONVERSATION

They really said "Wanna do something foolish?" "Do you even have to ask?"

Episode 4: The Great Bookery

- Kazi you nerd I love you

- Amaya being the best aunt!!

- UGH THE RAYLLUM MONTAGE

- MMM YES CALLUM AND KAZI THE BOOKWORM DUO

- "I would do anything for you" oh. my. god.

- THIS WAS SO FUNNY

- BANTHER FIGHT BANTHER FIGHT BANTHER FIGHT

"Rayla, I was wrong. I waited too long. I hope you know--" "I know." UHM, I DON'T? WHAT ARE YOU GUYS TALKING ABOUT? (I'm guessing this is them saying "I love you" without saying it but I NEED TO KNOW FOR CERTAIN)

- The only reason Amaya and Corvus survived is because they hid in the book drop and Amaya thought to do that because Kazi pointed it out earlier so basically Kazi saved their lives. Good job Kazi.

- question: how the fuck did a fall from that height NOT kill Corvus? I'm glad he's not dead but HOW?

Episode 5: Archmage Akiyu

- "Oh no... You're making me the deciding vote, aren't you" Imao 😭

- Terry is such a good boyfriend.

- everyone's faces when the giant birds swoop down at them

I AM CACKLING

- Callum fistbumping Rayla... I will cherish this forever.

- Rayla asking Callum to push her into the water because she doesn't have the courage to jump in herself, Callum holding her hand as they dive in together instead... oh I'm sick. He's so patient and sweet and gentle with her I'm gonna cry

- the sheer amount of rayllum hand touches we're getting this season is incredibly satisfying

- Tidebound Tina/Archmage Akiyu is so silly. I like her a normal amount

- IT'S KIM'DAEL!!

Episode 6: Bait And Switch

- let Soren have the best lavender essential oils in all of Scumport he deserves it

- when Ezran goes to see Finnegrin and Callum stays outside and he says "it's fine I'll just get to know my new friend here" and Elmer says they aren't friends, Callum lets out this little giggle and it's the cutest thing. FOR WHAT? LITERALLY FOR WHAT

- I'm conflicted about Claudia fighting the dragon. I mean, slay, but also... I'm scared 😃

- BABY GLOW TOADS!!

Episode 7: Sea Legs

- I need to know what Bait said when he grunted and Ezran said "that's not very nice, Bait"

- "baby mage" Nyx I'm gonna have to stop you right there because I will not tolerate this falsehood and this slander towards my boy Callum

- I love how when the baby glow toad fell overboard, Nyx was like "I'll get it" and Callum was like "no I'll get it" and then there's Soren, who hollers "SORENBALL!" and just yeets himself in.

- Callum carrying the episode with his sky magic ugh yes (partially Soren too, for saving the baby glow toad, and Villads bc of course he's a great captain and the squad couldn't do this without him, but Callum is slaying I'm so proud of him)

- Amaya finding out Kim'Dael took Janai may have broken my heart just a little

Episode 8: Finnegrin's Wake

- IT'S CALLUM IN THE INTRO INSTEAD OF VIREN OH FUCK

- please excuse my excessive use of "fuck"

- they hurt my boy ☹️

- "I'm not gonna help you murder the archdragon of the ocean" "Murder? When you put it like that you make me sound like a bloodthirsty fiend" YOU LITERALLY ARE 💀

- Rayla screaming at Finnegrin to let Callum go when she sees that Callum got beat up... the pre-s5 speculation fanfic writers are probably losing their shit rn

- THIS IS MY FAVORITE SCENE IN THE WHOLE FUCKING SHOW. OH MY GOD.

I have never seen anyone more angry at any point in the entirety of this show than Callum is in this scene. He's been angry before, but rarely, and when he does, he remains level-headed. But then Finnegrin starts torturing Rayla, and that's what sets him off. And seeing a character like him, who's always been so sweet and gentle and kind, going absolutely fucking feral because someone hurt his loved one, is so satisfying to me. He loves her so much, the worst thing to him is seeing her suffering. I'm going insane over this.

- HE FUCKING UNLOCKED THE OCEAN ARCANUM. I'M SO PROUD OF HIM

- remember when he told Rayla "I'd do anything for you"? Yeah... (I'm totally writing a fanfic about this)

- if you couldn't tell, I fucking love Callum (this is probably the hundredth time I've said this)

Episode 9: Infantis Sanguine

- Callum looks so pretty here. He always looks pretty but MY GOD

- I'm gonna cry. The way he looks at Rayla like "Hey it's okay I'm right here with you :)" has me in a chokehold

- Rayla getting scared about being underwater and swimming back up to the surface and Callum immediately going after her to see if she was okay... no one fucking touch me

- I had no problem with Claudia at the start of the underwater fight but then she threatened Ezran and I was like "sweetie I can't defend you anymore"

- bruh they couldn't talk underwater anyway so what the fuck was the point of threatening Ezran to make him talk?

So...

First off, there was so much world building that I was kind of confused. I just kind of gave up at some point and read it for the characters lol. maybe it's because i didn't re-read fourth wing before.

the names of everything was a little annoying because they were all so unique i spent like two minutes trying to figure out how to pronounce everything. like she has four basic names (liam, sloane, violet, jack) and the rest I'm like ?!?!?!? WHO?

Speaking of Jack...I'm not sure I liked that whole thing. There wasn't any alluding to the fact that he'd be back in the first book, and I feel like he basically appeared out of nowhere in the second. Yes, we knew the healer was helping mend his soul (which is interesting af to me because how many others could they have helped? or is it just because he was a venin?) but the man literally had a fucking mountain dropped on him?! No way he would've survived I'm sorry.

I thought all of the fighting between her and Xaden was kind of annoying...like come on. And we learned so much about xaden but not at all at the same time?! like, now he can read minds, which means violet misinterpreted the sage/venin dreams because I'm assuming they came from xaden now, he was probably projecting them on her subconsciously.

chapter 48 was hot tho, the throne sex stuff, always a banger in my book.

why the hell was everyone keeping so many secrets from violet. like xaden, the dragons, her family...they keep saying how smart she is and stuff but like, that doesn't mean she should have to figure out everyones secrets for themselves?! betrayal.

also, how the fuck does someone become venin? was that explained in the first book or this one because now xaden is somehow one and idk how that happened?!

low-key i'm happy dain and her are getting closer again, but also your childhood's best friend's dad trying to kill you? i feel like that was unwarranted tbh. then he got sent away because of it and i wonder if he's going to make a reappearance.

also, andarna...she was hardly in the damn book. and i didn't think her lines were anything really special. i feel like she's basically only in the book for one specific plot point and the rest she's just off sleeping or with the elders or doing something else so ry doesnt have to write her?

omg the part where nadine said she was violet and that guy immediately snapped her neck was fucking WILD.

and the whole thing with cat was like petty as fuck but her power seems interesting. i enjoyed reading the challenge violet had when she was messing with her emotions.

let's see...i wonder what violet's second signet is going to be. she kept mentioning how well andarna could blend into her surroundings so im wondering if invisibility is one that could happen...or maybe the transportation one that they said hadn't been a thing for a long time. i feel like why mention that if she isn't going to bring that back too.

also, the headers before each chapter scare me. RECOVERED letters from xaden to violet....recovered from where and why whats going to happen 😭

wow, this was a lot of thoughts lol...i also want a bonus chapter from tairn or another dragons pov because i feel like him and sgayl were fighting a lot this book but i want to know what they're saying to each other.

overall, i enjoyed the read and the midnight release experience was so much fun and cute and clever and i def think they should bring those back. maybe for cc3 they'll do that!

If Namor x Shuri were to actually become canon

I can totally see them having a slow burn former foes/rivals/political allies to lovers dynamic

Like :

. Being political allies had them work together in diplomacy and international relations related matters and such and find that they have even more in common than one may think

. Namor got his eyes opened to even more types of surface dwellers and realizes that....not all of them are like the Spanish colonisers that killed his dad 🤯🤯🤯🥺🥺🥺😭😭

. Namor eventually admitting that he feels guilty for inadvertently causing Ramonda's death ( THE ANGST )

. EVERYONE IN TALOCAN KNOWS THAT NAMOR IS SMITTEN WITH SHURI AT FIRST SIGBT

. That received mixed feelings from the Talokanis ( some are more hesitant, some others just joined the shipping boat )

. Shuri at first doesn't feel exactly the dame way yet gradually became torn between her growing attraction to Namor and tormented from even THINKING of forgiving Namor who inadvertently caused Ramonda's death ( THE ANGSSSTTTTT )

. The two eventually start to wear elements of each other's home domains' clothing at times in front of each other. They told their cohorts that it is ' to persuade Wakandans/Talocans even more ' YET ALL THE TALOKANIS KNEW HE AINT SLICK and some Wakandans picked that up too.

. Nakia understands how Shuri feels throughout the whole thing and tries her best to support and watch over her through the whole thing

. Riri ( who became an online friend of Shuri's after BP 2 ) was all like a hype woman like, ' GIRL THAT DUDE IS MF DRAGON AND HE LITERALLY GAVE YOU HIS MOM'S BRACELET '

Shuri : (in a facetime with Riri )Uh, Riri, we are just political allies, NOTHING MORE.

Riri :Yeah? Well, uh, how do you explain you SUDDENLY wearing more green jewelry that I see on your Instagram posts, hm? Care to explain?

Shuri : * face red * Uh.....

. Both suddenly found even more common ground in their shared hatred for Valentina Fontaine aka Madame Hydra

' Uh, wear more purple jewelry? My friends in Wakanda LOVR purple jewelry. '

' Maybe show her that you are actually good with kids!'

Namor : * groans * Thunder man, I appreciate your advices, yet Shuri is not like your lover Lady Foster. Plus, I have an army of nieces and nephews from both sides of my household tree that reside in different parts of the ocean and they ALL have a way to drive people nuts.

. And then when, after some time, Namor and Shuri FINALLY got together

Who's your favorite character? What draws you to them?

My initial response is Aemond Targaryen (surprise, surprise). The book and show portrayal have some similarities, but I really loved how Leo Ashton and Ewan Mitchell’s characterization. There was something relating to how Leo carried himself, Aemond just weary but ready to defend Aegon, how he was ridiculed. You have this sense of relief when he finally claims Vhagar that you forget the implications until that group of cunt ass kids rallied against him. Then you see that want for revenge, how it shapes and molds him into this man that is just...

Sigh. 💜

Anyway, after him it would Ser Criston Cole, as this man is so damn petty with his hatred it halted his aging and I’m here for it.  

What's your favorite episode of the season?

I loved the despair of episode 8, where we finally got to see the key players for what was to come. The build up, the tension that lead to this brief moment of serenity and then... the dinner scene, where it just went downhill so fucking fast. 

What is your favorite line from the season?

I have two. The first belongs to Daemon: “You cannot live your life in fear, or you will forsake the best parts of it.”

And second is to Jerrel Bracken, and it makes me giggle: “The princess has a dragon, you dumb cunt.” 

Which actor's portrayal is your favorite?

Of course the obvious answer is Ewan Mitchell. I binged everything he has been in and really enjoy that even though he had similar mannerisms used in each roll, he seems to adjust to fit whatever character he is playing and I think it’s fucking brilliant.

Matt Smith plays a cunt like no other. As much as Daemon makes my skin crawl, I do enjoy watching him. 

Olivia Cooke. 💜 Watching Alicent’s transition from the tepid daddy’s girl to girlboss was amazing. She believed in her convictions and squared off to Otto, to her husband, and we saw glimpses of how she played the Game of Thrones, and I really loved it. 

Which character would you most want to be stuck on a deserted island with?

I mean...

But for real, probably Ser Criston as he seems low key a more practical option, as I could trust him to be able to scrounge for food, kill whatever wild hog might attack, things like that.

I would love more insight on Arryk and Erryk OR, since they kept him alive, if Ser Harrold Westerling came back in a blaze of glory, that’d be nifty. 

Who's character arc are you most interested to see continued, for better or worse?

May the gods pity me, but Aemond. I am curious their interpretation of his story and am super excited to see it unfold. 

Who's your most anticipated new character of Season 2?

Cregan Stark, but this is mostly because of my Mushroom theory of him, but I already know HBO is a bunch of cowards and would never. And Nettles 💜 I really hope they show how she gets her dragon.

Which is your favorite dragons of the ones we saw?

Vhagar. 

I hate that we missed out on some Fire & Blood bonding between Aemond and this she-dragon, but I really loved how they showed the sentient side when she was bonded to Laena. It was beautiful and heartbreaking 💜

What's your favorite relationship from this season? (romantic, platonic, antagonistic- whichever!)

I loved Rhaenyra and Harwin Strong. I really loved the snippets of him knitted throughout, his admiration for Rhaenyra just as she was. There was also so much in the scene after she gave birth, how he was quick to help in any he could, just to be able to touch her, to be there for her. And when he held Joffrey?

Like, goddamn, I love this man so much 😭

Okay so I just finished season 2 of Fate and oh… my…

First of all, it is a MASSIVE improvement. Scarier threats, better writing (?), likable new/original characters, lots of surprises (good and bad), better CGI. Overall really impressive and enjoyable for a Netflix original. I think they delivered. I’m not going to do a full review, just going to take a moment to gush about a few things I enjoyed/noticed.

• Farah’s surprise comeback-not-comeback!! Like, what was that??? 😭 Other than Eve Best agreeing to have a cameo because her other show House of the Dragon wants her more? … 🧍🏻‍♀️ I mean, there are a million ways to bring her back. E.g. Sebastian’s wish to resurrect the dead victims of Aster Dell suggests it likely could be done to Farah as well, Farah saying that she used magic before Rosalind’s attack sooo instead of what they gave us, she could make nature protect her or to fool Rosalind into thinking she’s successful, etc. It’s a world of fairy magic. THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS. And in the cartoon, Faragonda was gone and became one with nature and the girls brought her back … I really wanted that parallel. Man 😔

• With Rosalind, Ben, and Andreas gone so it’s just Saul…? The only person of the Battalion of Light who’s still standing. Is he in charge of the school now?

• SAUL’S HOUSE!!!!! AND HORSES!!!

• The lack of Silrah 😖😭😖 Like … I know her time was limited but the lack of acknowledgment or seeing Saul react to the news that she’s dead/has been murdered by Rosalind feels so … lazy (?) IDK. But we were robbed.

• Andreas dying ??? I’m a lil disappointed. Even though his death kinda serves a purpose. I think the writers were trying to do that “Sky resents Saul for killing or attempting to kill his dad but it’s Sky who actually ends up killing his dad but it’s for a good cause” thing, and I get it. Plus, I feel like we (or just me) were not meant to like Andreas and see him as one of the main characters as we do but his death still feels quick and cheap and it’s such a waste of an interesting and complex character bc while he may be crass and a bit (or a lot) of a bastard but then they showed us that he’s not a robotic soldier and he did have emotions and care for Beatrix. He was getting sooo likable in that way and then they took him away from us so early in the season, just like that. A shame.

• PLUS, when Saul was pardoned and became a Specialist instructor again, I was disappointed by the lack of Saul/Andreas interactions as coworkers/allies. I feel like they were teasing us with some Saul/Andreas a bit in the beginning because, hello, it’s two ex-friends who now hate each other because they each hurt the other person very deeply and have things to resolve suddenly having to work together as allies again, and kinda led us to expect more scenes with them so I feel blueballed.

• Musa is a fairy AND a specialist (well, not fully but you know, she possesses the skills now 🥸). LOOK AT HOW MY GIRL ATE THAT!! Sad she didn’t get to transform, same with Flora. Was expecting Flora to transform from sacrificing herself like in the cartoon and Musa to transform when she gets her magic back. But it’s alright. These two got their Enchantix later than the other girls so this feels canon, lol.

• RIVUSA IS SO, SO WELL DONE!!! Better than expected, even. Riven is so likable. I cannot.

• LOVE Grey and Aisha/Grey … no complaints there at all.

• Not sure how I feel about Beatrix’ death yet … but leaning towards the negative side because she, too, is likable. And has more to offer to the story. Plus, she’s a Trix or supposed to be. And Trix ain’t supposed to be killed off but if they could kill their own version of Faragonda, then, well…

• Beatrix is STORMY as revealed that her two dead sisters are Icy and Darcy 😭😭🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 I guess the only thing that comforts me is that she’s with her sisters now 🥲

• VALTOR!!!!! …is Irish????? SKDODCOFOCO 😭😭😭

My Boyfriends Predicts each Game of Thrones Season Finale pt.2

A/N: We’re almost done with season two 👀 so just to clarify, I ask him his prediction after episode five and will continue to just so he’s got semi of an idea. All fun and jokes obviously

- The Lannisters get Winterfell or Theon will get it and launch a full attack on the North [he only added the Theon bit bc he saw the look on my face🙄]

- He’ll hold Bran and Rickon Hostage

- Arya escapes by having people killed

- She’ll either marry Joffrey or she’ll start to trust Tyrion and he’ll do some fuck shit with…yeah…[Lmao neither of us knew where he was going there 😂]

- Robb will be captured and executed or killed in battle (maybe not this season though?) [He does get killed but just not this season babes; I’m not ready for the Red Wedding again😭]

- Jon’s gonna have to fight the wildings [he joins em😏]

- Danaerys is going to get a ship a sail across the sea to sail to Westeros and present herself as heir to the iron throne as the only Targaryen (bc she has more dragons and that means she has a better claim than some 10 year old with anger management issues) (my bad 12 year old) [still wrong about the age but it’s okay 😂]

- Joffrey’s head will role [ugh sadly not yet😒]

- Cersei and Jamie will have a special punishment but I’m not quite sure what it is [nah not yet, also I mean I wouldn’t say it was a special punishment]

- Tyrion is just gonna do his thing. He’s gonna psychologically rape, pillage, and murder 🤷 [Basically]

- Catelyn will get back to winterfell and be like huh?!🤔 [just imagining that cat on tiktok but nahhh]

- Theon is gonna shit brick and get scared when his daddy and sissy don’t come save him when 200 men pop up and ask him what he’s doing and he’s just gonna be like, oh I just thought I’d come up hear and steal,and pillage and rape you’re women while you’re men aren’t here

- Stannis might win, but he won’t accept another Targaryen. But he also has too many enemies, he���s up against everyone. So, as you said in your Vax headcannons, he's not shy about his belching abilities until Keyleth comes around, then he's "nervous"

What if, the two of them were made to share a room at an inn or something during one of their quests. She's busy talking to Pike or Vex even, he's alone in the room. WRONG. She comes in as he's just about to start releasing said "monsters" in his stomach. Of course, she wants him to feel better, she's his friend/girlfriend/wife (you decide, lol) so she encourages him to let loose and when he does, he finds out she secretly "likes" it...

I hope you enjoy this idea that now lives rent-free in my brain.

Vax absolutely adored Vox Machina’s post victory ragers and considering the dragon they’d just killed, he found himself drinking with his friends and destroying some poor innkeeper’s tavern. Some hours ago Scanlan had disappeared upstairs with a rather attractive male tiefling to do god knows what and Grog and Pike lay asleep at a table over in the corner. This left only Vax, Vex, Keyleth, and Percy keeping the party going.

As he glanced around the room, looking for his sister (who definitely wasn’t in the process of swindling a nearby dwarf out of several gold pieces), he spotted Keyleth attempting to lead Percy in a drunken imitation of a waltz. The two of them were giggling and stumbling over each other and Vax was of the opinion that Keyleth had never looked prettier.

Vax’s stomach gave a slight groan to which he gently placed a hand over it. It pressed against his shirt, filled to the brim with tavern food and alcohol. A small gas bubble pressed up his throat and came out in the form of a quiet closed-mouth burp.

He decided he’d better make his escape now while Keyleth was distracted. He could go up to their shared room in the inn and empty his stomach of its troublesome gas before Keyleth was even aware he was gone.

He’d only just made it past the threshold of their room when a sizable belch forced its way up his throat. He placed a hand on his chest in slight surprise, he hadn’t expected that one. He wasn’t too perturbed however, this had been what he’d come up there to do anyway.

Wasting no further time, Vax turned away from the door and pressed his hand onto the top part of his overtaxed stomach. Immediately another deep belch rolled up his chest and out of his open mouth. As soon as it came to an end the door behind him flew open revealing none other than Keyleth, the one person he was trying to avoid at the moment.

He hurriedly removed his hand from his stomach and clamped his lips shut. However, once that first burp had come out he now found it a bit difficult to keep the rest from following its predecessor.

Keyleth passed through the doorway giggling and animatedly telling him a story about a Goliath that had just been rude to her and, he thinks, Percy ended up vomiting on his shoes when he attempted to tell the guy off. Vax isn’t totally sure as all of his focus is currently in keeping the rest of the air in his stomach from making an appearance in front of Keyleth. He’d taken to nodding and smiling through her story instead of actually responding.

“And anyway, Percy’s fine. I think Vex took him back to their room” Keyleth finished.

Apparently, despite her slightly drunken state, Keyleth took notice of his lack of verbal response. “You feeling okay?” She asks, raising her eyebrow.

“Oh uhh-“ Vax started before he inevitably lost the battle with his stomach.

The belch that rolled out of him was a long one. Long enough, in fact, that he had time to close his mouth part way through, turning it into an extremely deep closed mouth burp.

Keyleth was just staring at him.

Vax lifted a fist to cover his mouth as he stifled a smaller after-burp, “shit, excuse me I’m so sorry Keyleth.” He apologized.

This seemed to break Keyleth out of the sort of shock she’d been in and she stuttered back to life with an awkward jolt.

She hurriedly waved her hands in front of him, “Nononono don’t worry about it, is your stomach hurting? Do you feel sick?” She asked.

Vax shook his head, “No I’ve just got… a bit of gas I’m afraid.”

Keyleth’s shoulders tightened before she spoke “Oh… well I’m glad you aren’t sick, you can keep going I don’t mind. I just want you to feel better.”

As much as he didn’t want to take her up on her offer it was beginning to seem as though he wouldn’t have any other choice. His body was not reacting well to the alcohol and he began to hiccup. His hiccups never lead to anywhere pleasant. Though they were tame at the moment he knew they would devolve in a few short minutes.

And of course, right on cue, he was wracked with another hiccup that quickly turned into an extremely long and painful burp. When it came to an end he brought an open palm to his chest and gently began to rub his own sternum. That one had hurt. Before he had a minute to breathe another hiccup-burp shook his chest. “Oh god” he wheezed.

He looked up to Keyleth who was staring at him like a deer in headlights and weakly gestured towards his back. She seemed to get the message as she began to roughly bring her palm down in between his shoulder blades. This finally managed to jar the rest of the air that was struggling to get out of him. The belch seemed to go on forever and when it finally ended he was gasping in relief.

“Gods that wasn’t fun,” he winced “thanks Keyleth.”

She seemed to start at the sound of her name and snorted a quick “no problem”.

That’s when Vax noticed it for the first time. There was a light rosy tint to Keyleth’s cheeks that hadn’t been there before. Now, her face usually flushed when she’d been drinking but he’d seen her drunk enough times at this point that he knew this was different.

Her strange behavior since she entered the room was finally starting to click. She was into it. She was actually into his gas.

Now Vax wasn’t one to kink-shame, he was friends with Scanlan after all, but the idea of her being attracted to him in any capacity both excited and terrified him. It almost seemed as though his hopelessly unrequited crush on her might not be so unrequited at all.

Shaking that thought out of his head, the mischievous part of his personality began to make an appearance and he found himself wanting to tease her even more than he already had. Against his better judgement, he subtly gulped down more air and smiled wickedly to himself.

This was going to be fun.

A scenario like that kinda happened in the past and Daemon chose Viserys over his lover(Mysaria and the egg situation on Dragonstone). She probably just thought Nettles meant nothing to him and he’d get over his infatuation as soon as she departed from Except it wasn’t lust this time. She overplayed her hand. If she was a little more patient maybe she would’ve survived longer.

To answer your question, I think Daemon would’ve returned to Kings Landing. I could see Corlys’ warning/telling him Miss Maegor has gone kooky, she hates Nettles’ guts, and that it would be best if they stayed at Maidenpool.

Now if she hadn’t gone on her rant(or if others weren’t there to see it) then they probably would have returned. He wouldn’t give up Netty. She’d probably become his only paramour(I could see him gathering a couple of children with her. Try to give said child a lordship if it was a boy or doting on it if it was a girl). Missy Anne would either have to live with it or she won't go on breathing 😊

Ok my second character

Again I'm just gonna put a picture of her cause it's easier

Her name is Kasai.

She's 3000+ years old around 5'8 and is fairly built (idk how else to describe that she works out)

Shes a god of fire and war. She's illiterate but not completely dumb, she's a master of manipulation and war tactics, she's very loud and always tries to smile to keep the people around her at ease. She tries not to get attached to mortal people but if she does she'll do anything to protect them. She can't feel romantic love at all and thinks it's very weird that people get into relationships.

She has a dragon form (she doesnt fully become a dragon she only gets dragon features) (I'll try to explain it in her backstory, her dragon form has tall horns wings and a tail with feathers on the end of it that look like fire).

She likes to befriend people she thinks are strong and can keep her from doing something outlandishly stupid.

Backstory (I'll try to make it as short as I can she has so much lore it's unreal): She was born to be apart of a deal her father made with a neighboring kingdom (she was gonna have to marry someone she didnt know), she was never aloud to go outside and would get jealous of her older brother who got to go outside every day. One time in the middle of the night a voice was practically pulling her to her family's crowning room. She had touched the family scythe and could feel a surge of power enter her body. She quickly ran away and tried not to think about it. Her brothers crowning came but when he went to grab the scythe it gave his hand a really bad burn (the scythe has a defense mechanism where it can sense when the king/queen isn't touching it and will burn everyone else but the king/queen) the scythe floated over to her and claimed her to be the next ruler. Her dad was pissed and was screaming at her when he was stabbed by one of her guards. A couple hundred years later she befriends a mortal witch named Astrella. She was on a walk with astrella one day when astrellas feet got caught in some mud. A ice lady shows up and shoots spreading ice at her (Name is self explanatory) the ice starts sticking to astrellas skin and kasai hurridly tries to get her out and punches the ice. The ice had already stuck to astrella though so when she punched it, it ripped astrellas body apart. Kasai took anything that was left of her and went into a blind rage. Killing anything that stood in her way. During her rampage she runs into Alvar getting attacked. Alvar looks alot like astrella in kasais eyes and quickly kills the people attacking her. She helps Alvar and makes her a head knight.

(Her mom cheated on her dad with a dragon that took a human form and that's why she has a dragon form, kasai is also not her actual name, it was given to her by astrella. Her original name is etsu)

In the Botanical Gardens laid a lazy lion napping. His long brown hair shining in the light and his tan brown skin radiated with a natural glow, defining his broad shoulders and muscles. The lion beastman slept peacefully for an hour up until he detected something, he didn't get or open his eyes but he was awake and listening out for whatever or whoever was there. All of a sudden he notices someone is hovering over him. "Wake up sleepy head" He heard from a familiar voice, one he was inconvenienced(his words but he's lying) with everyday since they came into his life.

"You do know I know you're awake, right?" Kasai said with an obvious annoyance in her tone. "What do you want" Leona grumbled, he cracked open his eyes to see the half dragon God above him. “ To get you to class” she said with a smirk. “You can’t MAKE me go” he said and closed his eyes. “I really could, all it would take is a certain Dragon Prince to get an anonymous tip that he needs to come-“ before finishing her sentence he abruptly put a stop to her sentence. “Don’t you dare” Leona threaten, he opened his eyes to glare at her. “You do realize I could destroy you with my scythe if you tried me right” she giggled. “You won’t, just like you won’t call over that giant lizard” he retaliated, Kasai could see how serious he was, so she does the smart thing and ignores it. "You wanna bet?" she said her smirk was large, and all she could think was how funny it was to annoy her friend. Her long brunette hair was in a ponytail, and her red eyes looked into her friends with the expression of pure mischief.

"Don't.You.Dare."

His bright emerald eyes narrowed and gave him a stern stare. Clearly he was not having it. "Go.To.Class" she responded in the same cold tone but it was more playful then his, they stared each other down for another 2 minutes straight. Starting to get annoyed she gave him a terrifying look, like a mother warning her child to quit acting up in public. Yet Leona remained unfazed, at least that's what it looked like. Out of respect, he decides to finally get up, obviously still grumpy. He grumbled under his breathe about how he's seriously taking commands from 'another stupid lizard'; Kasai put on her classic smile ready to get him to his class as a favor for a her clearly hard-working peer.

The shining lights and sound of the plants swaying softly, made him want to just lie down and lull back into slumber, but he didn't want to be kept awake by his red eyed companion. The brunette simply chuckled at how clearly annoyed Leona was, and her glanced at her in the corner of his eye giving a her a nasty look. She looked at him with an amused faced and simply teased, "You know if you didn't get up from the Malleus threat, I would have just heated up your rock by a lot so that you get annoyed and decide to finally listen. That makes the emerald eyed lion stop in the middle of the pathway, Kasai stopped to steps ahead of him and laughed out loud at his face. He had a faced that, was disgusted, angry, annoyed, and shocked all at the same time, at the fact she would almost give him 3rd degree burns just to get him to class.Was she completely serious?No, but it was funny to see Leona's face.

And as Leona's face eased up they continued their walk to Leona's next class.

Ngl, I think leona is dead ooc in this but I was having some much writer's block(And procrastination) today and the last few days that, I'm not that mad at it!!

Fire Emblem Engage 15 - 17

Spoilers for FE Engage 15+. Though, this game is way better at gameplay than it is with story, but the characters are all likable so I'm good.

I really appreciate how different all the nations and their castles and interiors look in this game. I adore Three Houses, but one thing I really wish they did was have more variety in the weather, landscapes, etc . . . This game nailed it.

Solm, a desert country, having waterfalls in their palace is such a good touch. Not only does it show that water would be valued in a place like this, but it's also flaunting the royal family's wealth and power, like a palace should.

I'm not sure I'll ever warm up to Veyle. She's a walking moe cliche. Mind control. Innocent cute loli type otherwise. But, hey, I didn't like Hortensia at one point but her VA sold me in the last chapter.

Does anyone else find it a bit funny that we're a dragon worshipped as a god with influence over the land and this is a good thing. It's like a giant middle finger to those people who tried to rewrite the entire history of the franchise around a certain character's not-so-great view of dragons.

Also worth noting that Brodia invading Elusia is seen as a universal bad and something Diamant's supports resolve around stopping. Just putting that out there.

Ivy/Diamant feels cannon to me. It makes too much sense.

Kagetsu is so awkward. I love him.

I feel like I just took half of my units and got them with level 5 with Byleth. Mentorship is too good not to stick on a few people, and it's cheap too.

I love how literally no one takes Hortensia seriously. It makes an otherwise grating character kind of cute.

Holy shit, Merrin laid it on thick for Chloe. Honestly, don't blame her. But she is not subtle, gave Chloe flowers, called her beautiful, then asked her to dinner. Homegirl's even willing to try and stomach Chloe's . . . uh "food" choices. And Chloe thinks Merrin is like a cool knight out of a fairy tale. 100% new ship happening.

So far I like AlearxAlfred, IvyxDiamant, CelinexAlcryst, and now ChloexMerrin.

Alfred and Boucheron's support went exactly like I imagined it would. Poor dude. Alfred would lose his mind meeting Dimitri, someone who's abnormally strong despite not looking like a hulk, but is still shredded.

Alfred is probably the only person in the world who would've be offended or weirded out when someone asked to lick the flowers he's wearing and also offer to get licked later. Otherwise, Bunet is weird.

Seadall is VERY hot. He's like Sothe and Navarre had a baby. Or like Navarre put Sothe's clothes on.

F!Alear confronting Veyle again had really good voice acting. As long as we ignore that everyone just stood around instead of attacking her. Gratned, it was un-brainwashed Veyle who wasn't attacking so I'll let it go. Maybe.

Doing Ike's prologue is making me feel things. The nostalgia is real.

I love so, so much that one of Byleth's canned dialogue in Somniel is "Nothing to report!" and his paralogue is the Holy Tomb. And most of his dialogue was about Rhea, lol.

Eirika, my beloved, she's finally coming to me 😭😭😭😭😭😭 thank you, Rosado and Goldmary.

Rosado and Goldmary are both amazing. I want to use both, but I can't. There's just no room for both. But I think I'll use Goldmary because she's a bit better out of the box. She takes self-absorbed to hysterical new levels lol.

Anyone else think it's dumb that in Classic your units can die in the ring paralogues? It's like, oh bummer, Lyn/Corrin/etc just killed my healer who's the little sister of my mage, but our bonds are now stronger!

It feels extra sad seeing Firene get attacked. It's such a peaceful kingdom. It's nice to see Alfred back in the spotlight though. His lines about how these are just farmers and not soldiers reminds me a lot of Dimitri after Lonato.

I love how often the villains chit-chat with the heroes before and after battles, but like they never attack or threaten each other.

So mean that they're making Ivy and Hortensia fight their own dad :(

So I didn't start ch 17 after seeing the dialogue because it was too late and I didn't realize it, but I'm seeing the world map now and it's on fire :(

FYI, put Corrin on Alear. She/he can use all of the Dragon Vein terrain bonuses. I know most classes are locked to one type or another. I don't know if there's any other exceptions like Alear, but man I'm loving using this ring on Alear.

Alfred just did 5 criticals in a row. You think enemies would wise up and quit attacking him, but no. He is pissed off right now.

Alfred deserved that MVP. Boy put in the work.

And just chdmdb imagine the other Champions being so wary now that Iris is down there with them, B. Kyurem at her side and god imagine how that'd fuck up the rest of the Unova kids tho, that Iris managed to take Zekrom to fuse with Kyurem. And ofc, the Dragon is there glaring down at everyone, waiting for its hero's commands.

Then Iris approaches this man, fighting off Plasma grunts, she calls out Haxorus, pinning down his Krookodile with a snarl, the man was petrified when he saw Iris, and the grunts took it as an opportunity to also grab him, forcing him to kneel before his god. He looks up at her, terrified, pleading for mercy, it make Iris grin. She then crouched down his level, grabbing his jaw as she forced him to look at Lance and Diantha, "you've always been one of the more.. opinionated ones," Iris began, voice almost sounding soft, then she chuckled, "so go ahead, why don't you tell my parents all the bullshit you tell every goddamn person about me." She sneered, her grip on his jaw lowered down to his neck, her hold on him was tight, his vision almost obscured by black spots. His own words caught in his throat, tears fell from his eyes, the words that came out his mouth were pleas of mercy, which did not appeal to Iris. Growling, she grabbed the man and threw him to the ground, stepping hard on the back of his head, slamming his face to the ground, and an unsettling crack rang in their ears.

"tell them!" She growled, ignoring the cries from Lance and Diantha for her to stop, then she crouched down, grabbing him by his hair, forcing him to look up at her parents again, his face was covered in blood. Iris chuckled now, eyes half lidded as she stared at him, "tell them. Tell them every single one of your thoughts about how fucking pathetic I am. Tell them how much you hate their daughter. Tell them, or I'll make sure you watch your Krookodile die a cold and painful death."

And he finally did, as his tears mixed with his blood, he finally spoke about his hatred for Iris, even before she became Champion. Told them about how he thought she was an incompetent Gym Leader, how she was just a child, doesn't matter she was a prodigy. Told them how she doesn't take her job seriously, even tho she really did. Told them about how he thinks she just got lucky to have beaten Alder, it should've been Hilbert that's the Champion. Told them about every spiteful thing he ever thought about Iris, about how he thought she wasn't fit to be Unova's Champion, how he never gave her the respect she deserves, how he never saw her as a Champion, how he wished she could've lost immediately on her first battle as Champion to be replaced with someone he thinks is more competent. He told them how Drayden should've just left her in Blackthorn. He told them everything. He told them how much he hated a child who only wanted what's best for their region.

Imagine how that'd mess up Dia and Lance tho, cause hearing it first hand now, it fucked them up. This man hated Iris from the start, from the time she was still Gym Leader, thinking she was incompetent. How their daughter had to endure this kind of hatred for so long, since she was young, since she was still a twelve year old kid suddenly thrusted into a world where failure to meet expectations would be met with more spiteful words of discouragement from the masses.

And god just cjdmbd imagine Iris throwing him back to the ground, and he's there crying out for mercy, for forgiveness, but Iris looked at him devoid of any emotion, her eyes almost gleaming with an ominous light, she spoke, "kill him." Then she turned to Haxorus, "both of them." And she went back to Lance and Diantha's side, not sparing a glance back at the man, his and his Krookodile's fate sealed by Haxorus' Guillotine.

Imagine her then smiling wryly, "well.. was that enough? Or do you want to hear more? I'm sure there's a lot of them who wants to tell you just how shit I am."
