40. If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you hope to see? Gosh, I don't know! I'd be flattered by any fanart I suppose! But I guess my ideal would be someone to make a fanart and tell me why they were moved to depict that particular scene. :3 75.What scene in Never Shall We Die took the longest to write? What was difficult about it?  Climaxes always take me foreverr. I mean, it would help if I didn't cram so much in! But... Yeah. I think the one that was hardest, though, were the last two chapters of Ed being 13 because there was just a precise mood to set with loose ends to tie up and really wanting his meeting with Kupe to land well.

You groaned as you twisted and turned in your bed. Exhausted, weak, feverish and the worst of all, a stuffy nose. You don’t know how but you’ve woken up sick even though you were fine last night. This was annoying, you had an off day today and had planned to relax and do whatever you liked. Coincidentally, even Mina was completely free today and was going to come over soon. What an absolute waste of an off day, you thought bitterly to yourself. You got up slowly, sighing as you realized even getting up was a real struggle, making your way to the kitchen to boil some water so you could make some coffee….or tea. You hadn’t made up your mind yet.

Shuffling about slowly, your arms wrapped around yourself, waiting and you realize that Mina is going to reach soon and it’s not going to be fun at all if she realizes or rather when she realizes that you are sick. A few months ago the two of you nearly had an argument because she noticed you had been overworking yourself but it was more like a lack of sleep. Regardless, you needed to sort yourself out before she arrived. As you walked out of the kitchen, you noticed that the living room was kind of a mess. Of course it was.

Before you get a chance to think through your options, you hear the doorbell ring. You shut your eyes tightly, accepting that nothing can be done now. Quickly glancing at the mirror and fixing your hair and throwing the blanket at the couch, you take a couple deep breaths before answering the door.

And there she was, beautiful as ever, standing with a small smile, wearing that hoodie you got her for her birthday.

“Hi”, she said quietly, walking in.

You weakly smile at her and quickly back off before she can get a good look at your face, removing the blanket off the couch and trying to make the room a bit more presentable but it’s difficult to be quick and effortless about it when you feel so weak and hollow.

As you bend to pick up a cushion, you suddenly feel light headed and stumble, falling onto your knees, holding onto the couch for support.

Mina immediately looks concerned, “Oh! Are you okay?”

You manage a weak nod, “Yeah, I just need a second….”, you stop as there’s a sizzling in the background all of a sudden and you realize you had water boiling. “The water!”, you try to get up quickly but are faced with another wave of dizziness and almost stumble again, gripping the couch tightly and breathing heavily.

Seeing your struggle Mina hurriedly shuffles to the kitchen, “I’ll get it.”, she returns after a few moments looking visibly concerned.

Meanwhile you had managed to get on the couch, leaning back, your hand on forehead. It was so obviously hot you knew for sure your fever was spiking. The timing couldn’t have been worse.

Mina approaches you and sits next to you and puts her hand on your forehead. You can hear her inhale sharply before she looks at you with worry, a small pout on her face. “You are having a fever. Why aren’t you in bed?”

Before you could defend yourself, she gives you a gentle push, making you lie down. “Mina! I’m okay, I’m just-”

She silences you with a finger on your lips. “Just rest for a bit”, saying this, she goes to the kitchen.

You sigh and close your eyes, resting your arm on your hand. A few minutes later Mina is back with a cup of tea. You weakly sit up and gratefully take the cup. You both sit in silence, you take a few sips, the warmth making you feel somewhat better almost instantly. “Thanks”, you say quietly.

“This is no good. You are really naughty Y/N.”, Mina disapprovingly scolds.

“What did I do?”, you pout and protest.

“Pretended to be fine”, she replied.

You didn’t have an answer to that so you just quietly sipped the rest of your tea. As you finished it, Mina once again put a hand on your forehead, her lips pursing. “You should rest some more, come to bed”.

“I’m okay!”, you protest knowing full well that you absolutely needed the rest but you wanted to spend time with Mina.

She shakes her head, “No. Now come with me”.

You give up, too tired to argue your case and follow her. “Let me just get some tissues”. You grab the tissues, sniffing in frustration as your stuffy nose was really starting to annoy you. You go back to your to see Mina laying on her stomach, her feet up and she pats your pillow signaling you to join her.

“I’m not some animal”, you grumble as you get on the bed, laying down and instantly feeling the exhaustion. You take a deep breath and turn when you feel Mina’s hand on your hair as she gently strokes your head. You consider protesting again, after all you aren’t a kid who needs this but you can’t deny that it feels good, you feel your eyes shutting as you relax, your head feeling warm and fuzzy as Mina continued to massage you gently. As you felt yourself drift off to sleep, you felt the all too familiar feeling of Mina’s lips on your skin as she brushed your hair off your cheek and gave you a quick peck.

You woke up after some time, maybe a few hours, opening your eyes to see Mina laying next to you, staring at you with concern. “Hey”, you greet sleepily.

“Are you feeling better now?”, she asked.

You stretch lazily, “a little bit”.

She nods with a small smile, placing a hand on your cheek. “You really should take better care of yourself you know. I’m really worried.”

“You don’t have to, it’s just a fever.” You say dismissively but you can’t deny that her concern made your heart flutter.

“Mmm. Of course I have to. I’ll make you some soup. Tomato soup”, she says, slowly getting up.

“Noooo, I don’t like tomatoes”, you complain, grabbing her sleeve and trying to pull her back to bed.

She chuckles, her attempt to look stern failing, “But it’ll make you feel better. And if you won’t eat it yourself, I’ll feed you”, she says teasingly.

You groan in frustration, knowing you can’t stop her but the idea of her feeding you doesn’t sound too bad, even if it is tomato soup.

Fifteen minutes later, she returns with a bowl and as you see the soup suddenly you feel like you can pass on the opportunity of getting fed by Mina but before you can say anything Mina notices.

“No complaining Y/N”, she chides.

“Look Mina, just listen-”, you try to negotiate.

“You have to finish the soup”, she says firmly.

“Ahhhnnnn, why!”, you pout.

“You are so silly Y/n”, she says, putting the bowl on your side table. “Fine, I’ll make a deal with you. I’ll cuddle you for a bit but then you have to finish the soup”.

“But you might get ill as well”.

“I already don’t feel good when I see you like this”, she says, getting close and holding you. “So even if I get a little sick it won’t matter. Besides,”, she sighs into your neck. “I want to feel you”.

And the two of you cuddled for a bit. Well that’s what it seemed like but it was actually for over an hour, at some point you ended up falling asleep again while Mina held you lovingly. She generally doesn’t express affection a lot especially physically but today she felt really protective of you and she didn’t mind it at all. After all you were her precious love, how could she hold back when you were so vulnerable.

I'll be real with you, I just really enjoy drawing big scary teeth LOL.

I do think it would be neat if ghouls just lost all their original teeth and were replaced with weird ones. Maybe they constantly fall out and regrow like sharks? Idk, but it's fun to mix up ghoul biology since everything can be justified by radiation exposure haha.

Either way, Arcade seems to enjoy Richie's chompers, so that's what really matters ;)c

Tell me more about the kibbutz musical! I’m so intrigued!

Technically I'm not supposed to tell ppl irl but this is online sooooo. The play is about a teen and his sister moving into a kibbutz from England (they're Israeli at birth but have been living in England for most of their lives). Their dad couldn't make it with them to the kibbutz (and their mom is dead) since he has some business to take care of so they're waiting for him to arrive in the meantime. The sister Yisraela is extremely excited about living in a kibbutz in Israel and accommodates enthusiastically. But the brother Oz who is the main character misses their dad and is extremely unhappy with life in the kibbutz, having very little privacy, having to do lots of chores and sharing his things. This creates conflict with Avi, who runs the chores schedule and is pretty much the leader of their age group, so they split up said age group into those who want to keep living the traditional kibbutz life and those who want the rules to change. There's more to the plot obviously but this is pretty much the premise. The story and characters are original but we're using songs by Israeli music artist Harel Skaat. The show is called יבואו ימים אחרים (other days will come) which is his most recent song and the one the musical ends on.

This is kind of a weird answer because I don't actually like this genre much... but I feel like Sharon would *thrive* in a Hallmark Christmas movie. She'd probably be so wrapped up in making Christmas perfect for everyone around her that she wouldn't even notice that she's falling for the grumpy, Christmas-hating, guy/gal who owns the Christmas shop she visits every day, but her joy is infectious and eventually grumpy owner starts to love Christmas again too. Oh and there's lots of mistletoe at the end 😏
