Some good news: Today was gorgeous for a walk. My husband is furloughed, so his job is secure but he's safely home with me. Our newest rescue cat cuddled for most of the night (first time! He is so injured and deformed that he doesn't like pets a lot of the time, and he was still pretty feral for not being scared of humans. So this was a huge deal. Especially when he didn't pee on the bed either! lol).What's your good news?

Yesterday I helped my dear friend @kimcankickit with an event to honor 30 young mom’s in Utah who are all battling various forms of cancer. Today Kim was unwell, so I was privileged to be able to deliver chemo care packages to the women who weren’t well enough to attend yesterday’s event. Most of these women were active and healthy just 6 months ago, much like myself. Their worlds have been changed and now they are fighting for another day. I love being able to help with @liftedby_angels. It is always such a humbling experience when you meet those who have cancer. It helps realign my priorities and renews my zest for life. I’ve been friends with Kim for years & she has always been a fighter, but seeing her reach outward to lift others when she is in such need of lifting herself, is nothing short of inspiring.
