Shape of my heart

After seeing the precedent of beauty as you Polygons and other planes eventually flew But one shape I can compare to your view The loving curves of heart and angles too.

I am always in my square of contention But because of you, I improved my convention So there I felt we would have a connection A quadrilateral, yet single attention

Though I am aware that when push comes to shove You'll always pick him, above my love The mathematical rhythm couldn't pick a song And it made me feel like a kite, that did not belong

But now I am a trapezoid Being the way I should be Because I realize that world is a polygon That there are no sides to be falling on

The poem entitled 'Shape of my heart" was written when I was on 9th grade during the pre-COVID time. Since I am a math enthusiast ever since and enjoys writing poem as well, I combined both of my hobbies to create this romantic poem.

The first stanza signifies the what-so-called love at first sight which was experienced by the persona. Seeing hearts and the sudden stopping of time are metaphorical way to describe the beauty of the girl he met.

There has been an improvement in the life of the persona on 2nd stanza as he chose to leave his comfort zone just to become a better man. Though she doesn't appreciate him yet, he is surely happy to watch her from afar.

Feeling your heart broken into bits is still an understatement on how devastating the 3rd stanza is. She already sets her eye into someone who isn't and will never be the persona.

Every other heart break deserves a healing from the comfort of time. The 4th stanza gives hope to be optimistic in what the future holds.

I wrote this poem because I love putting my emotions, my feelings, and myself in my works. This poem inclines that love is a wonderful thing to give and to receive, but can also cause damage when not taken properly and rightfully. I want to speak up that one-sided affection is not love waiting for something in return, it is defined as happily appreciating someone with you on their side.

Я тоже занята. Особенно для того парня из Тиндера. А ещё клиента, который звонит 9 раз за день. И оператора Киевстара. Ему особенно не везёт

А ты такая уже вся с бабочками в животе представляешь как танцуете вместе румбу под Щейп оф май харт, а вокруг вас - никого. Но, девочка ты уже взрослая, помечтали и хвать. Просыпайся

Вообще я не люблю мечтать о том, что не зависит от тебя. Например : я мечтаю о БМВ или побывать на Мальдивах (все мечты и персонажи вымышлены). Что нужно желать для этого? Зарабатывать много денег. Вперёд и с песней.

А мечтать быть с каким-то человеком это сложно. Ты не можешь быть уверен что твоя мечта искренне сбудется. Может сбытом на пару раз секса или простых свиданий. А будет ли что-то дальше - ю нева ноу как грится

Вот и остаётся только представлять перед сном и надеяться что мысли материализуются.

И гипнотизировать телефон, просматривать сеансы в кинотеатре (чисто так, на пожарный) ,и каждый день по несколько раз просматривать отмеченные фото с тобой. Вдруг что-то новое. Или кто-то новая

Неблагодарное это дело, испытывать симпатию к кому-то. О любви поговорим позже. Там все по-другому.
