Lip Gallagher and y/n had been together for two years, and they were each other's firsts. They had been through a lot together, including family drama, financial struggles, and personal challenges. But through it all, they had remained devoted to each other.

However, lately things had started to change. Lip had been spending more and more time with Karen, an old flame who had re-entered his life. At first, y/n didn't mind - she trusted Lip and knew he would never cheat on her. But as time went on, it became clear that something was wrong. Lip was missing dates with y/n, forgetting important events, and seemed distant and preoccupied when they were together.

Y/n tried to talk to Lip about it, but he brushed her off. "It's nothing, babe," he would say. "Just work stuff." But y/n could tell there was more to it than that. She could see the way he looked at Karen, the way he talked about her, the way he always seemed to make time for her no matter what.

Finally, y/n decided enough was enough. She confronted Lip one night, after he had missed yet another date with her. "What's going on, Lip?" she demanded. "Why are you always with Karen? Don't you care about me anymore?"

Y/N's sudden outburst caught Lip off guard. He was taken aback and muttered, "What the fuck are you talking about?" He chuckled lightly as he thought the girl was joking, but that smile soon wiped off his face.

"I mean, you keep missing out on our dates, Lip. That's what I am fucking talking about," Y/N spat, her anger spilling over. "And for what? Her! To be with your ex-girlfriend!" She scoffed at the thought.

He hadn't realized how much he had been neglecting her, how much he had been taking her for granted. Guilt flooded over him, and he struggled to find the right words to say.

"I'm sorry, y/n," he said finally. "I didn't mean to hurt you. It's just that”he paused, “Karen and I have a history, you know? We were together for a long time, and she helped me through some tough times. I can't just forget about her."

Y/n felt a surge of anger and hurt. "So that's it? You're just going to fucking choose her over me? Once again! After everything we've fucking been through?"

Lip shook his head. "No, that's not what I'm saying. I love you, baby. You know that. But I can't just ignore my past, either. Karen is important to me, too."

Y/n sighed. She knew Lip was right - he couldn't just cut Karen out of his life completely. But it still hurt to feel like she was second best, like Lip had forgotten about their relationship.

For the next few weeks, y/n and Lip tried to work things out. They went to couples therapy, talked through their feelings, and tried to find a compromise. But it was hard. Y/n couldn't shake the feeling that Lip didn't really care about her anymore, that he wasjust going through the motions to keep her happy.

Finally, one night, y/n had had enough. "I can't do this anymore," she told Lip. "I love you, but I can't keep feeling like I'm competing with Karen for your attention. It's not fair to me."

Lip was devastated. He knew he had messed up, but he didn't want to lose y/n. "Please, y/n," he begged. "Don't leave me. We can fix this. I'll do whatever it takes." He cried, “please baby.”

But y/n shook her head. "I'm sorry, Lip. I just don't think we can make this work anymore. Maybe someday we can be friends, but right now...I need to move on."

And with that, y/n walked away from Lip, leaving him alone and confused. He knew he had made a mistake, but he didn't know how to fix it. All he could do was hope that someday, y/n would forgive him and they could try again.
