Summary:

Annie thought she was free until she felt a familiar prick to her neck.

Annie’s heavy breathing could be heard throughout the park. It had been a while since she was able to get out. That fucking control freak.

At first, Annie was lured in by his good looks. Shalnark, he was called. Then, as their relationship progressed, she noticed his possessiveness. She tried to ignore it, but at a certain point, it became unbearable.

Once she threatened to break up, he’d control her with his remote. Against her will, she’d move her butt back to his apartment. When she was there, he’d force himself on her as she laid there stiff as a board.

Although she thought she was prepared back then, she wasn’t. She knew that. But now? She was very confident.

He got sent away on a mission. There was no way…

Suddenly, she felt a familiar prick on her neck. Oh no.

Her body turned, then walked past the park gates. She read the street names in her head until finally she went through the apartment doors.

Going up the elevator, her heart beat faster. But he was supposed to be gone! God dammit. Was she tricked?

Approaching her apartment door, she turned the knob and entered. Inside, Shalnark was sitting on the living room chair with one hand on a book and the other on his remote. Stupid thing.

Upon seeing her, he sighed.

“I really thought you knew better. Guess I was wrong.”

Knew better than to run from her abuser?

He went through the hallway and using the remote, he guided Annie until she entered a room. She wanted to gasp.

This door was always locked with a key, so she never found out what was behind there. Now, her face turned pale.

Inside, there were handcuffs attached to a wall. That probably was against the lease, but Shalnark probably didn’t give a shit. Anything to make her behave.

“Since you can’t behave, I installed these,” He pressed a button on the remote, causing her to move forward, “Pretty neat, right?”

In her mind, she was screaming. She needed to get the fuck out of there now.

However, she couldn’t break free. She was trapped. Feeling sick, she watched as she was led into the handcuffs. With a clink, she was forever trapped.

Reaching behind Annie’s neck, he grabbed the needle. Once he removed it, she lunged at him. Taking a few steps back, he was out of reach.

“Woah. You have a lot of energy.” He commented.

Unfortunately, that didn’t last long. Either due to starvation or exhaustion, she began to feel dizzy. On instinct, she fell to the ground, resting her head on the wall.

Shalnark leaned forward, resting his hand on her ankle lovingly. He seemed to know what she was going to do next, so he grasped it roughly.

“If you kick me, I’ll break your ankle.”

Afraid of the pain, she didn’t budge.

“Good girl.” He praised her. After speaking, he trailed a hand up her thigh. She kept frozen, scared of what he might do.

“You knew I had to do this. If the boss needed my phone, then I couldn’t keep ahold of you.”

Control.

He pushed her panties aside, teasing her clit with a finger. Annie bit her lip, holding back her moans for this piece of shit.

“I can’t lose you.”

Weird HxH Facts you might’ve not noticed before (part 7)

Fact #1: According to Gelato, left-handed Nen users are likely to become conjurers.

Explanation:

In chapter 394, Gelato recognized a certain pattern between a majority of her comrades becoming conjurers. They all share the fact that they’re left-handed which makes her assume that left-handed people have a higher chance of becoming conjuration users than right-handed ones.

Fact #2: Mito has a drinking problem.

Explanation:

In chapter 1 of the manga, we can see Mito surrounded by bottles of liquor implying that she has been drinking for a good while before Gon came into the room.

Even though his aunt has been drinking a worrisome amount of liquor, it doesn’t seem to faze Gon in any way whatsoever.

The thought of Gon leaving her like how Ging did to take the Hunter exam made her resort to drinking and in addition to the fact that Gon doesn’t react to this behaviour suggests that Mito uses alcoholic beverages to deal with her problems.

Fact #3: Milluki didn’t set foot outside of the zoldyck estate for 7 years.

Explanation:

Milluki stated that the last time he left the manor was when he was ten years old. He reveals this information in chapter 72 when he was seventeen years old at the time meaning he finally went outside after seven years.

Fact #4: In the anime, Genthru calls Killua “the eye-slanted kid”.

Explanation:

When Genthru and his companions Sub and Bara take on the decision to finally confront Gon and his team, Genthru dictates the other two who they’ll be fighting against.

He mentions that he’ll be fighting “the kid with spiky black hair” (Gon) and Bara will take “the girl” (Bisky). But upon telling Sub that he’ll be fighting Killua, rather than telling him he’ll be fighting “the white-haired one” like how he did in chapter 175, episode 73 changed this part and made Genthru call Killua “the slant-eyed kid” instead.

This small comment of Genthru’s is a real offensive term that’s been thrown toward people from East Asia especially the ones who come from China and Japan.

The term means having eyes that appear to tilt from each side.

Fact #5: The majority of the original spider members have last names.

Explanation:

The original spider members were Chrollo, Uvogin, Shalnark, Nobunaga, Machi, Pakunoda, Feitan, Franklin and Phinks.

Excluding Uvogin and Pakunoda, the rest of the originals have last names even though some came to the land of trash as infants and others were born there without any recollection of their own families.

The spiders’ last names besides the two mentioned above are as follows: Chrollo Lucilfer, Nobunaga Hazama, Feitan Portor, Machi Komacine, Phinks Magcub, Shalnark Ryuseih and Franklin Bordeau.

Whether the members have made up those last names or were simply good at remembering them if they came from the outside remains a mystery.

Fact #6: The chaar family’s boss is named Brocco Li.

Explanation:

Brocco Li’s name is pretty self-explanatory.

Unlike some characters who also have names based on food like Kite’s group of Amateur hunters such as Banana Kavaro and Stick Dinner as well as Netero’s assistant named Beans, Brocco Li has a much more significant position in the Succession Contest arc.

He is the boss of the Cha-R family and is an illegitimate half-brother of King Nasubi Hui Guo Rou. Despite his superior position, he has a rather odd funny name.

Shalnark’s  birthname  /  name  in  the  Kurta  language  is  “Syarnorke  (read  as  ‘shiaru-noruku’)  Kurta”  as  seen  in  certain  manga/extra  iterations,  but  in  present  day  that  identity  no  longer  exists.  His  parents  were  the  only  ones  using  “Syarnorke”  when  referring  to  him,  and  after  the  experiences  he  went  through  during  his  childhood,  but  even  moreso  after  the  massacre  of  the  Kurta  clan  and  the  Phantom  Troupe  selling  the  scarlet  eyes  to  the  world  at  large,  Shalnark  opted  to  hide  his  Kurta  heritage  because  of  all  the  collectors  that  might  not  have  gotten  their  hands  on  a  pair  and  who  might  attempt  to  kill  him  for  his  eyes.  He’s  certain  he  could  win  regardless  of  who  might  be  sent  to  hunt  him  down,  but  still  he  would  much  rather  not  have  to  sleep  with  an  eye  open  everywhere  he  goes  when  a  better  and  safer  alternative  is  clearly  available.

With  that  in  mind,  the  identity  of  “Syarnorke  Kurta”  was  abandoned,  and  in  its  stead  appeared  “Shalnark  (read  as  ‘sharu-naku’)  Ryuseih”.  “Shalnark”  is  a  transliteration  of  his  original  given  name,  a  change  he  made  for  easier  pronounciation  outside  of  his  clan,  as  well  as  to  avoid  any  hunters  that  may  have  heard  of  “Syarnorke”  before  in  relation  to  his  father.  “Ryuseih”  is  a  family  name  he  gave  himself  during  his  time  in  Meteor  City,  since  he  was  aware  that  he  would  require  a  family  name  for  certain  things;  thus  ‘ryusei’  from  ‘meteor’.

The  founding  members  of  the  Phantom  Troupe  know  of  his  Kurta  heritage,  and  Shalnark  was  the  one  who  even  showed  them  the  way  to  the  Lakso  Province.  However,  very  few  of  them  know  of  “Syarnorke”  (only  Chrollo  as  the  head  of  the  spiders,  and  Feitan  as  Shalnark’s  lover).  Pakunoda  may  have  learned  it  by  accident  if  she  ever  used  her  ability  on  him  for  whatever  reason,  but  Shalnark  himself  never  outright  told  anyone  other  than  the  two  mentioned  above.  The  newer  spiders  know  of  neither  the  “Syarnorke”  nor  the  “Kurta”,  and  he  has  no  plans  of  revealing  either  to  them  (although  post-revival,  his  Kurta  heritage  is  easy  to  distinguish  through  the  random  outbursts  of  scarlet  eyes,  and  chances  are  he  won’t  lie  about  it  if  asked  by  fellow  troupe  members  -  at  least  not  if  he  even  slightly  trusts  them).
