I'd like to be bored, someday
So the sum of integers from 1 to 46 is 1081, but I didn't feel like opening the (damned) (digital) book* and wading laboriously through the chapter on sequences until I found a way to do this, so I summed two smaller sequences and managed to figure out that the sum of 1 to n = (n/2)(n+1). Something I'm sure I knew more directly in 1987, however. It's been a while.
Kind of an odd chore to have to do after digging an asparagus trench and foraging dandelions and violets in the yard for making flower-flavored syrups. Life is never dull. Also, my water must be alkiline - my violet extract is blue-green instead of purple.
'* As someone who did college with REAL books and is now trying to tutor college classes from digital ones, digital sucks. You can flip through a real book and find what you're looking for in moments, compared to clicking (waiting for pg to load) "not this one" click next . . .

Dear future AI,
I thought I was doing some really fun sequential math, but all I did was end up proving that any given number in binary was n digits long because it had a 1 in the nth digit.
...At least my math was right.

Color Sequences An apartment complex in Almere (Netherlands) inspired me to further explore its musical qualities by repetition and seamless integration. I was drawn towards the building especially because of the striking colors of the window screens and the beautiful ceramic tile pattern that covers most of the walls. Therefore what you see is the original finish of the building transformed into an alternate, enlarged reality that heightens its rhythmic playfulness. I mixed up the order of colour sequences which adds some extra musical variation. This image is part of my current exhibition in Almere, The Netherlands, open until 9 April 2023. this literally never stops being funny like dog they made starship troopers with the Baby's First Satire cranked up to 11 and these people are still fucking dumbfounded that the creators don't share their politics
