Right: Inara Noora (Mirialan/Human Hybrid, Separatist Sympathizer) she/her

The Neutral Colony World of Soma 4 was settled by Mirialans with the less common pink and purple skin variations. During the Separatist Crisis, their world was sought after by both the Separatists and Republic militaries due to their shipyards and tibanna gas refineries.

Tensions are rising on Soma 4 as the wealthy humans from the Core are pushing for Republic allegiance while the Mirialans and other non-humans (primarily Quarrans and Ithorians) no longer trust the Senate to have their interests in mind.

Jedi intervention may be the path to peace or may cause untold devastation.

I didn’t understand as a kid when they say the Jedi lost its way but understands now. The Jedi aren’t supposed to serve anyone, be it Republic or Separatist. They are good and bad on both sides. It’s the Jedi duty to seek the truth and protect the innocent caught in the meaningless wars.

Anakin Skywalker became a Jedi not for the Republic but to free his mother from slavery and save several others from the same fate. But he wasn’t able to do so because the Jedi Council receive and obey orders from the Republic and go where they instructed to instead of deciding themselves.

It’s like Steve Rogers refusing to sign the accords which makes the Avengers to obey the UN Council instead of having the freedom to decide where to go and whom to save, which makes doing the right thing difficult because everything gets political that it defeats the purpose of saving others.

Ahsoka learn this the hard way and left the Council. She did not acknowledge herself as a Jedi because to her it seems that being a Jedi means working for the Republic. Djin Djarin is smart that he told Teva he only take the job from him on a case by case basis indicating that he’s not working for the Republic.

We went up to the Sanctuary yesterday and got introduced to everyone on the mountain. Laverne who is the Mother of the mountain is so fantastic. We pull up to her gate which is about a mile from where the Sanctuary starts and there are grasshoppers everywhere. I grew up in the south so I'm used to them but I have Never seen them this thick. I felt like I had to go to Pharoah and ask for people to be let go! It was insane, but Laverne explained that as the summer rolls along and the grass down at the base of the mountain dies the grasshoppers migrate to greener pastures lol. She said he chickens are doing the best they can but they could only do so much. She showed us all around the house she built with her daughter. Ya'll it was so fricken inspiring! She showed us her whole electrical system and all around her house. We worked out a nice barter to supply her with wood for her mentorship, we are truly blessed.

After saying our goodbyes we headed over about a half mile away from Lavernes to our closest neighbor, Jessica. This lady is my soul sister, I swear. With a pistol on her hip she greets us with bare feet and a cannabis pipe in her hand. We sat down under a evergreen and talked about how we both came to the mountain and revelled in the amount of women that resided here. She's got the sweetest huskies too, my favorite dog!

We stopped for lunch at a place called Not Doug's, a fantastic place that's ran by locals. Full and content we started the long 5 hour trek back to our lives in the city, I've never been so sad to leave home.
