Following Orders
It was the perfect evening; rose-scented candles illuminating only your faces, silky curtains covering every inch of the high walls, and the quiet chatter of Las Almas high society as they dined. This environment was something out of your element, like you were watching yourself from above, all while you stuck out so easily. Despite wearing the fanciest, most premium clothing she’d bought you, you were like a deer in the headlights.
She’d sent a bottle over, as a distraction while she handled her business. The “nicest bottle they have” according to her. It was a nice bottle, if only you’d gotten to savor it in silence.
“Estarás muerto por la mañana si no sigues las órdenes.” Valeria coos into the phone as if she wasn’t threatening the life on the other line. Her legs are crossed, while her unoccupied hand is tapping on the table.
Another gargle from the other line and she’s hung up, finishing off her glass of wine in one gulp. She’s looking at you through hooded lids, still seething with anger—glaring as if you were the henchmen disobeying her moments ago.
“It’s not easy being king, hm?” She sneers, noticing the awkward shifting in your seat, and the tight grip you have on the neck of your wine glass.
The phone thrown atop the tablecloth chimes again, forcing her to check it. Her jaw tightens at whatever bad news has popped up, and next, she’s wiping her mouth with the cloth napkin, and to her feet.
“We’re going home. Now.” Her snarl reaches deep, causing you to set aside the plate you barely picked at.
She doesn’t bother to pay the tab, nor leave a tip for the server. She’s gripping the flesh of your forearm and practically dragging you across the pavement. The valet has come to a stop under the carport as soon as the both of you exited as if waiting for her hand and foot on her.
She opens the side door closest and slams it as soon as you’re inside. She climbs into the other, and gives the driver two taps—then he’s kicked the engine, dodging traffic, and approaching her main compound in record time.
The large oak doors have come to a slam, and the control panel is in her hands. Her electric blinds are slowly whirring downward until all of the windows in the foyer have been covered. In replacement of the porch light no longer coming through, she’s slowly turning on the pendant chandelier above the dining space.
You’re standing in the middle of the foyer, still clenching your wallet tightly. She’s been silent since she told the guards to split, and now she’s standing across from you, casing you with her hard-eyed gaze. She’s had her fair share of explosive mood swings and heated phone calls, but it's never been this intense.
Her pink fingernails grip onto the strap of your wallet, and it’s ripped from your grip with force. Next, it’s holding onto your chin, while the other is gripping onto the loose fabric of your night clothes, shoving you backward toward the dining table.
Each time you’re going to topple, or your ankle twists from the imbalance, her hands grip tighter, until eventually, the curve of your spine hits the thick,  rough edge of the dining table.
That cocktail attire, the piece that clung to your frame so tightly, the one you were beginning to admire the way you looked in, was now fraying under her the dig of her nails. Now that she was towering over you, with your back laying on the dining table, the rip of the fabric comes quickly.
From midsection to thigh, there’s a large rip in it, revealing your bare body underneath. Your bra and panties provided little to no cover, and it didn’t last long.
Her tongue traced a circle around your belly button, until eventually, it was at the waistband of those panties. Valeria yanks them down, nibbling on your thighs until her mouth finds your core.
“Hijo de putas… can’t follow orders…” Her curses are muffled by the warmth of the flesh she’s licking on.
Any form of protest, or grunt from her roughness, and her stare hardens, only compelling more snarls to come from her plump lips. She will take her frustrations out one way or another—tonight you’re the target in her crosshairs.
“What if someone comes in?” Your voice comes out a murmur, as you’ve propped yourself up on your elbows, as if checking the mansion for any unwanted visitors.
“Then they’d be disobeying me.” Her voice is more hoarse now, but still soft around the edges. “That would be a mistake wouldn’t it?” Her question echoes through the large dining room, but she’s not talking about the guards; she’s talking about you. You disobeying her and facing the consequences.
When her men disobey, they end up with a bruised ego and a black eye, or worse. But you, you’ll forget your name by the time she’s done, without even finishing once.
You shake your head quickly, figuring you’ll take your chances with some aggressiveness over being teased for hours.
“Good.” Her response is simple, and she’s amused. She delves her tongue into your folds again, this time with a quicker pace. When you’ve writhed too much, or clenched your legs together around her head, one of her hands clamps down on a thigh, pinning it to the table.
Each whine, each reaction to her skillful mouth, is a climb to her ego. The unoccupied hand finds its way to your entrance. You’re slick enough—a mixture of her saliva and how her voice already had you dripping back at the restaurant.
The first finger glides in with ease, but you’ve tightened around her with each thrust of it. There’s nothing she enjoys more than how your back arches, how you can barely speak when her head is between your thighs.
Next, it’s her ring finger, successfully stretching you out. Her ability to multitask carries way beyond her work. She’s still swirling around your clit with the tip of her tongue, all while her two fingers have curled into a ‘come here’ motion deep inside you.
She’s satisfied you’ll stay where she wants you now. The dig of her fingertips releases, and now her thumb is in between your lips, giving you something to occupy your mouth with—something to drool and moan around.
Her tongue has pulled away, but her digits haven’t. Now she’s above you, using her knee to hold your legs open against the table. The centerpiece has tipped over in the process, but she’s paying it no mind.
Now that she’s at your eye level, she can watch as your lips wrap around her thumb, how your eyes are clenched shut one second and rolling back in the next. Every movement she’s making with her fingers causes a ripple of pleasure through you, only encouraging her to quicken her movements.
“Such a mess, hm?” Valeria chuckles, an amused grin spreading on her reddened lips. Now, the only sounds are your damped whimpers and the wetness coating her two fingers, sliding in and out continually until you’re trembling.
The torture drags on. Every time you feel the pleasure become too much like you’re going to finish, she slows down slightly, so it’s just enough to be stuck in purgatory.
Her thumb, now dripping with your own spit, slides out of your mouth with a moist pop. She wipes the saliva away on your cheek as if you were the bandana around her neck, but instead, it's your cheek she’s using to wipe the mess away.
Valeria’s no longer curling her fingers, only thrusting them in and out agonizingly. “Are you going to finish loud for me? Make a show of it?” Her brow is cocked, and she’s not going to proceed until you respond.
As soon as you’ve murmured a ‘yes’, she’s back on her game—harsher than before. Her fingers find your chin again, gripping it tightly to keep you still as her fingers begin to drill in and out, curling against your pulsing walls.
You can’t hold it much longer now, you never can when her trained fingers are this deep inside you. Despite how well you’ve been able to conceal your sounds before, now they’re bouncing off the walls, muttering small praises for how well she’s taking care of you.
She could take her hands away any second, and leave you a wet mess on the dining table, but she’s relishing the sight of you under her control too much—especially with her sour mood to fuel it.
Finally, the thrusts of her fingers have sent a spark from your core all the way up your spine, allowing your release from all the build-up. Her digging grip on your chin remains as you ride it out, and her fingers stay idle as the trembling subsides. She’s amused, very amused by this.
The pants had soon turned into deep breaths, ones where you were recovering from the high. Finally, she removes her fingers, this time wiping the aftermath off on her bandana instead of your cheek.
Now it’s playing with the frayed fabric of your gown. She was so blinded by anger before, she’d forgotten she nearly tore the whole piece off of you. To her, it was a small deduction from her riches—nearly nothing for her to replace.
Valeria leans down again, slowly pulling up the panties that were rolled to your mid-thigh; the one piece of clothing she hadn’t managed to ruin in her previous haste. Then, she returns above you again for one last tease.
She purrs into your ear, giving your exposed flesh one more glance before the pin of her knee is withdrawn. “You should see what’s going to happen to the other guy, amor.”

"Um.... [Name]? I-Is this really necessary?"
Mummbles a flustered Simeon as he was being restrained by you; his wrists being pinned together by your larger hand as the both of you sit on his bed, you behind him.
A shiver ran up his spine when he felt your other hand gently slide from his thigh to his hip, right above his pelvis to his flat stomach, tracing his abs. Then your hand changed its direction and found it's way to the waist band of his tight pants, slipping a thumb underneath.
The poor angel shakily gasps as you lift the garments in your hands, exposing his bare groin to your predatory eyes. The smirk on your face sent another round of violent shivers down his back.
"Oho? I didn't know you were so bold, Simeon.~"
You whisper huskily in his ear; hand slowly inching his pants down his trembling thighs.
Simeon let's out a shaky whine that he'd been trying to suppress, his face and ear warm with embarrassment at the thought of how he must look right now. What if someone walks in? What if it's Solomon? What if it's Luke!?
"I'm— I-I'm afraid I don't know what you mean..."
The blue eyed man hoarsely whispers out, his vision stiffly glued to the door in worry of being caught doing... whatever this is.
But he's not telling the whole truth, he does have just a bit of an idea what it could be, but can't bring himself to fully grasp something so.... perverted in nature. He could feel the hair on his neck stand up as you smirked against his dark skin, a chuckle vibrating from your chest and into his back. You definitely knew that he knew something, he could feel it through that laugh that you just let out.
"No underwear? My~ I didn't know angels were so perverse... or is it just you, Simeon?"
You sultrily whispered in his ear before running your toungue along it's outer rim.
Your hand now deep in his pants, resting on his inner thigh and slowly inching upward and eventually resting just next to his crotch. Never making an effort to touch him in the one place he so desperately wished for you to explore; even if his mind was pure, you'd made him needy for you.
"I wonder... How soon do you think it'll take you to break from this, hm? Hopefully before Luke notices you're gone."

Beware the fate of the Rat that lives on the street of the Sun...
This was written with pettiness. I had fun being petty. If that is not your vibe, you can give this a skip.
[Please don't judge me too harshly! I was bored, and on a bus, and I cannot help where my brain drew inspiration from 🙏]
Once upon a time
From the darkness and chaos of ages long past, emerged a town in which creativity, above all things, was revered. Houses were erected and dedicated to genres, legends, styles, and histories - each little house a lovingly crafted representation of its owner's tastes.
The citizens of this town were not especially kind, nor patient, nor steadfast. They were human - quite like you or me.
It was not a town governed by a particularly righteous or wise ruler (no, certainly not wise), but the rules of community were strictly enforced. Not by violence, mind you, they were enforced by tokens of admiration, friendship, and solidarity.
And the withholding thereof.
Now, in this little town, there was a quaint little street, inhabited by those who dedicated their creativity to the Sun. Some revered its body, for all its frightful glory. Some considered our beloved star lonely, and contrived to find it an equal to dote upon. Yet others dedicated their creations to those who had been scorched by its unforgiving rays.
Disparate though these various approaches were, it was a peaceful little street. Located in a district that contained within itself an enormous diversity of thought. Disagreement was tolerated. Disrespect was not…
In this little street there lived a lady. This lady dedicated her creations to imagining the future. After all, it was known that the great Sun could not burn forever. So what would take its place? What would inherit its reign?
This lady was not the only citizen on the street of the Sun to take up this pursuit, but she was particularly passionate in her approach. Though she may once have had an audience, her incessant screeching had driven all admirers away: “No! No! No! The rays of the Sun cannot shine silver! Only Gold!” She would scream.
“The future of the Sun is GOLD!”
People avoided her house. Their steps sped up when forced to cross her sidewalk, and they stuffed their fingers in their ears when she approached - for none in town had moved there to be so restricted by another. Despite their best efforts, however, the lady would not be so easily ignored. Soon vandalism became a common crime committed on the street of the Sun. Messages of support, sent with love in paper planes had always been encouraged - but now, bricks were tossed through windows carrying messages of vile hatred: “The rays of the Sun CANNOT be silver!” they would read - alongside wishes of death and misery.
All the neighbors knew who the vandal was. Everyone kept ignoring the angry lady, but you see, art of any form is created with love. The people of the town had not moved there to be so restricted by another, and for many it was galling that a place built for them to feel safe in their creations would be so blighted by arrogance. So some neighbors met bricks with bricks. Others would warn newcomers of potential discomfort.
Animosity grew, and the lady got nowhere in her quest for dominance. So she boiled in her own bitterness, and eventually it consumed her. Striped from her the joys of creation, and left only rage.
One night, all the neighbors were awoken to the sound of a roaring fire! They rushed to their porches and saw, at the end of the street, the vandals house was burning. On the grass, in front of the house, stood a lonely figure. Small, and defeated.
"Look at what you did," She wept bitterly, pointing at her neighbours "look at what you made me do! You would not listen to me. You would not do what I told you to. You stole from me my ideas, my precious creativity!
You made me burn down my own house!"
And then, she was gone.
___🕊🌤☀️___
The street was peaceful, following the lady's departure. Not perfect, mind you - some impressionable minds had watched the chaos unfold and sought to emulate her behaviour - but the neighbors moved on. They kept creating.
People soon came to realize, however, that while the lady might be homeless, she still lingered. The random acts of vandalism soon commenced once more.
"Did she turn into a ghost?" An ashen-silver haired girl asked her father.
"No darling. Ghosts are mysterious. And elegant." He bent down to her level, amber eyes gleaming with love for his only child, "This behaviour is more akin to that of a rat. We know it is there, but we cannot be sure where it lives. We merely hear its scratching every now and then."
"Ew, gross!" The little girl giggled, before becoming complative once more. "Pappa, why did she burn down her own house?"
"It was an act of cowardice, my dear. It is a lot easier to be mean and critical about the creations of others if your own are not subject to scrutiny. "
And so the warning was understood, in the little town, built by those who revered creativity - do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

🍃🕊🍃 Prophet Muhammad (S), a Divine Mercy for the Worlds
🍃 Preface
Each and every one of the Prophets (pbbuta) is a manifestation of Divine Names and Attributes. As there is no repetition in Divine Manifestation, there is no repetition in the story of the Prophets. The story of every Prophet is unique in its style.
What happened with Prophet Noah (as), Prophet Ibrahim (as), Prophet Moses (as), and Prophet Jesus (as) did not repeat for any other Prophet, nor did what happen with other Prophets happen for these Prophets. For, every Messenger of God demonstrates a particular divinity, unlike the man made stories in which their themes are nearly the same. We all know that Iranian and Indian movies must end with a marriage ceremony. The theme of Hollywood movies is nothing other than sex or violence.
All Prophets are the Signs of Allah and the shadow of ‘The Light of the heavens and the earth’. Nonetheless, the holy Messenger of Islam (S) was the shadow of ‘and there is none like unto Him’. Thus, the story of the life of Prophet Muhammad (S) overshadows the stories of all the previous Prophets, as he is the ring and the seal of all of them.
🍃 The Ranks of the Prophets (pbbuta)
When the Almighty Allah chooses a human being for His great divine mission, he must enjoy the highest degrees of virtues. Hence, the messengers of Allah are the most virtuous of people on earth.
Are there any degrees in rank amongst the Prophets themselves? The holy Quran confirms that whilst the messengers of Allah are more virtuous than other people, there are degrees in rank and preference in virtues amongst them. The Almighty Allah states:
“Those Messengers! We preferred some of them to others; to some of them Allah spoke (directly); others He raised to degrees (of honour); and to Jesus, the son of Mary, We gave clear proofs and evidences and supported him with the Holy Spirit.”
🍃 (2:253) 🍃
“And indeed, We have preferred some of the Prophets above others, and to David We gave the Psalms.”
🍃 (17:55) 🍃
Whist the demonstrative pronoun ‘those’ (Telka in Arabic) is utilized in the first Ayah to express their higher status in comparison to other people; the rest of the Ayah clearly indicates the degrees of the Prophets are not equal.
Although the ranks of the Prophets are not the same in the sight of God, they are all His Messengers, absolute obedient servants, and as such we should not make any distinction in that sense between any of them. Thus, Islam denotes the wrong dogma of the divinity of Christ and blames Christians for exaggerating about the personality of Prophet Jesus. The Holy Quran as such teaches the Muslims:
“Say (O Muslims), We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrahim, Ishmael, Isaa, Jacob, and to the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob, and that which has been given to Moses, and Jesus, and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted.”
🍃 (2:136) 🍃
The different degree of the Prophets in their ranks does not also mean they differed between themselves. The Prophets were like teachers of one school teaching one subject (Islam) for different grades. Should all the Prophets descend on earth and live in one city, there will be no disagreement among them whatsoever.
Thus, the Almighty Allah in explaining the degrees of the Prophets states:
“We preferred some of them above others”. But to state the different opinion between the ordinary humans, He states: “If Allah had willed, succeeding generations would not have fought against each other, after clear Signs of Allah had come to them, but they differed - some of them believed and others disbelieved.”
🍃 (2:253) 🍃
🍃 Muhammad, the Most Preferred Prophet (S)
“Amongst all the Prophets and the Messengers of Allah, the last and the Seal of the Prophets, Prophet Muhammad (S) is the most preferred of all and the highest in rank in the sight of Allah. The Almighty Allah states: ‘Those Messengers! We preferred some of them to others; to some of them Allah spoke (directly); others He raised to degrees’.”
🍃 (2:253) 🍃
The phrase ‘others He raised to degrees’ is meant for Prophet Muhammad (S). There are several reasons as to why the Almighty Allah has raised the degrees of His last Messengers above all other Prophets. The following are some examples:
The Almighty Allah sent Prophet Muhammad (S) but as a mercy for the worlds. Thus, he must be the most virtuous of all creation, material and immaterial. Allah states:
“and We have sent you (O Muhammad) not but as a mercy for the worlds”.
🍃 (21:107) 🍃
The Almighty Allah elevated the name of Prophet Muhammad (S) to be declared five times a day after the Name of Allah during Adhan and Iqama.
“And have We not raised high your fame?”
🍃 (94:4) 🍃
The holy Quran considers the obedience to Prophet Muhammad (S) equal to the obedience to God.
“He who obeys the Messenger, has indeed obeyed Allah.” A covenant with Prophet Muhammad is a covenant with God. “Verily, those who give pledge to you (O Muhammad) they are giving pledge to Allah.”
🍃 (48:10) 🍃
Satisfaction of Prophet Muhammad is coupled with the satisfaction of Allah.
“It is more fitting that they should please Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad).”
🍃 (9:62) 🍃
Answering the call of Prophet Muhammad (S) is regarded the same as answering the call of the Almighty Allah.
“O you who believe! Answer Allah and (His) Messenger when he calls you.”
🍃 (8:24) 🍃
The Almighty Allah honoured Moses (as) by granting him nine Signs (miracles)1 but Allah established every sentence of the Quran – which was granted to Prophet Muhammad - as a Sign (miracle) and calls for a challenge upon all the humans and the jinns if they could produce something like unto it. The main miracle of Prophet Muhammad, i.e. the holy Quran is more virtuous than the miracles of the previous Prophets, because not only it is the verbatim Word of God, it is an everlasting miracle.
If the miracle of Prophet Muhammad (S) is more virtuous than the miracles of the previous Prophets, then Prophet Muhammad himself must also be more virtuous than other Prophets. The Almighty God addressed the Prophets with their names. For instance, He says:
“O Moses!” (20:10),
or
“O Adam!” (2:35),
or
“O Ibrahim!” (37:104).
But He is addressing the Prophet of Islam with his title ‘O Messenger!” or “O Prophet!” which indicates a special honour.
The Almighty Allah ordered the angels to prostrate themselves before Adam (as) out of respect to him, but ordered the angels to give their Salat to Prophet Muhammad (S) in order for them to be nearer to Allah. Also, Salat for Prophet Muhammad (S) continues until the Day of Judgment, whereas the prostration for Adam (as) had to be offered only once. Moreover, Allah ordered the angels to prostrate themselves before Adam (as) in respect of the light of Muhammad (S) that Adam (as) had on his forehead. In short, all the virtues of the previous Prophets were also given to Prophet Muhammad (S) in addition to his own unique virtues.
🍃 Unique Characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (S)
As mentioned earlier, the Prophets of Allah are the manifestation of divine beauty and names, and the Prophet of Islam demonstrates the divine attribute of ‘there is none like unto Him’. The following are some of the unique characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (S).
• The light and spirit of Muhammad was the
first creation of Allah.
• Universal Mission: The most we can say
about the scope of the mission of the
previous prophets is that their mission
included all people of their time across
the globe and remained in force until the
advent of the next law-making prophet.
The mission of the Prophet of Islam,
however, was for the whole of mankind
across the globe and until the Day of
Judgment. The Almighty Allah states:
“And We have not sent you (O
Muhammad) except as a giver of glad
tidings and a warner to all mankind.”
🍃 (34:28) 🍃
• He is mercy for the whole worlds:
“And We have not sent you but as a
mercy for the worlds.”
🍃 (21:107) 🍃
• The seal of the Prophets:
“Muhammad is not the father of any of
your men, but he is the Messenger of
Allah and the last (end) of the
Prophets.”
🍃 (36:40) 🍃
• His Scripture is a protector and a guard
over all the previous scriptures,
safeguarding the truth in them which has
been perverted by man throughout
history.
“And We have sent down to you
(O Muhammad) the Book in truth,
confirming the Scripture that came
before it and Muhayman
(a protector and controller) over it.”
🍃 (5:48) 🍃
• The religion of Prophet Muhammad (S)
was Islam in its complete form with no
perversion in it, and hence it is the right
and straight (Qayyem) religion.
“So set you (O Muhammad) your face on
the straight and right religion.”
🍃 (30:43) 🍃
🍃 The World of al-Thar (Particles)
Has there been any world before this physical world? Or to be more precise, is there any world other than the world of matter? Did creation begin with the creation of the physical world or are there other types of life beyond this matter?
Many Ayaat in the Quran and numerous Ahadith indicate that there has been a world of spirit prior to this physical world. All humans had a form of existence in that world. It was in that world that the Almighty Allah introduced Himself to mankind and took a covenant from them not to worship other than Him. Mankind in that world witnessed the Almighty God and was free from the filth of polytheism and doubts.
The late Allamah Tabatabei suggested in his al-Mizan that the world of al-thar does not have a temporal preceding to this, our physical, world rather it does exist with it and encompasses it. It is the world of Sovereign (malakout) that the Almighty Allah showed to Prophet Ibrahim2 (as); it was in the world where the instinct of knowing God was enforced in man’s nature.
The following Ayaat reveals the existence of the world of al-Thar:
“And when your Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed and made them testify as to themselves (saying): Am I not your Lord? They said: Yes! We testify, lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: Verily, we have been unaware of this.”
🍃 (7:172) 🍃
“How can you disbelieve in Allah? Seeing that you were dead and He gave you life. Then He will give you death, then again will bring you to life and then unto Him you will return.”
🍃 (2:28) 🍃
One of the most complicated philosophical issues is about the relation of a changeable to the Unchangeable, i.e. the relation between the creation and the Creator. Muslim philosophers have dealt with this issue under the topic of ‘actuality and potentiality’.
It is proven in Islamic mysticism as well as transcendental metaphysics of Mulla-Sadra that the Almighty Allah is the Extended Existence (wujud munbasit) in all respects. The first being who appeared by God and became His first manifestation, must be the nearest to God and demonstrate the most possible divine Names and Attributes.
🍃 Stages of the Bow of Descent
To understand the concept of the first creation and manifestation of God, you need to activate your sense of imagination and fly out of the world of matter. Let your mind go beyond the four dimensions of matter. Now you are in the world of spirit. You may even endeavour to pass the entire contingent world be it matter or immaterial worlds. Muslim mystics consider the stages of life as follows:
🍃 1. The stage of the Unseen of the Unseens
1. The stage of the Unseen of the
Unseens3: In this stage all that is
considered is but the essence of Allah
without even any Names or Attributes, let
alone His creation. This is the stage that
no contingent being can ever reach.
🍃 2. The Stage of the First Appointment
2. The Stage of the First Appointment: The
stage of Uniqueness: (ahadiyyat). This is
the stage where one being or the
appointment of one being can be
considered. What we mean by the
appointment of one being is that an
attribute could be related to God. i.e. an
attribute that is the source of all other
attributes and beings. This is the stage
of God witnessing His essence for
Himself which is called the stage of
uniqueness (of God) or the stage of “or
nearer”.
🍃 3. The stage of the Second Appointment
3. The stage of the Second Appointment:
The stage of the Oneness (the distance
of two bows lengths). This is the stage of
all divine names and attributes. All
Knowing, All Mighty, All Living and all the
names of God is considered at this
stage.
After the stage of Oneness is the stage of A’yanneh sabiteh as named by Ibn Arabi. This is the stage of the manifestation of divine names and attributes. This is the stage of the appearance of the manifestations of divine names and attributes, manifestations which were concealed in the previous stage4.
Creation5 begins from this stage and the question is what would be the first creation. Some philosophers regarded the first creation or manifestation the intellect for it is immaterial and is not limited to space and time6.
🍃 The Law of the Noblest Contingent
From the time of Aristotle a law was accepted by philosophers known as the law of the Noblest Contingent; Muslim philosophers, whether the peripatetics, the illuminists as well as the transcendental metaphysics all regarded this law with special attention. The meaning of the law of the Noblest Contingent, in a nutshell, is that there is no leap in the cone of creation be it in the bow of descent or ascension.
This means in the bow of descent until and unless the Noblest Contingent doesn’t exist the less noble contingent cannot come into existence for the leap is impossible. Similarly, in the bow of ascension, unless and until a contingent fulfills the perfection of all the previous contingents, cannot elevate to a higher stage for leaping is impossible. The conclusion of this law is that the first manifestation of God must be the noblest of His creation.
Now the question is what is and who is the Noblest Creation of God? Numerous ahadith introduce the first manifestation of God as ‘the light of the lights’, ‘the light of Muhammad’, ‘water’, ‘the pen’, ‘the manifest Imam’, ‘the intellect’ and similar expressions which are different names for one reality who is by definition the noblest manifestation of divine attributes and for whose sake the rest of creation appeared.
According to ibn Arabi he is the perfect man who is the manifestation of the greatest name of God and all His attributes of beauty and glory. Ibn Arabi asserts that this is none other than the reality of Muhammadia.7
It is narrated from Prophet Muhammad (S) to have said about himself that ‘I am Qotham’ which means ‘I am the owner of comprehensiveness and the collection of all goodness’8. It is for this reason that in the supplication of the night of Mab’ath it is narrated in respect to the Prophet of Islam (S) “O Allah, Surely I ask You by Your greatest manifestation in this night and in this great month and Your most honoured messenger.”
Ibn Arabi in his mystical encyclopedia states that the first creation who is the nearest to God is the reality of Muhammad who is known as the intellect and is the master of the entire world and the first who appeared in the world of contingents. He furthers that the nearest to Him is Ali ibn Abu Talib (as) the Imam of the world and the secret of all the prophets9.
🍃 The First Manifestation in Ahadith
Numerous ahadith indicates that the first manifestation of God is the light of Muhammad and Ale Muhammad and all the rest are created in honour of them. Note that the light of Muhammad is an expression for his essence and spirit which is before the creation of matter.
Jabir ibn Abdullah said,
“I asked the Messenger of Allah what was the first that God created? The prophet replied, “Light of your prophet O Jabir. God created him and then from him created every good.”10
Jabir ibn Yazid narrated from Imam al-Baqir (as),
“O Jabir. Verily the first that God created was Muhammad and his pure family. Those who guide and are guided. They were the spirits of light before the mighty hand of God.’ Jabir said I asked the Imam what he meant by the spirits of light? The Imam replied, ‘Shadow of the Light’”11.
It seems the meaning of the shadow of the Light refers to the fact that God is “The Light’ as is refers to in Ayatul Noor and the spirit of Muhammad is His shadow and His first Manifestation.
Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated from the Prophet (S), “The first that the Almighty God created was my light who created it from His Light and it derived from the glory of His greatness. Then that light approached circulating by the might until it reached the Glory of the Greatness in seventy thousand years and then prostrated for God in glorification. Then from that light the light of Ali gushed out and so my light was encompassing by the Glory and the light of Ali was encompassing by the Might.12”
Abu Dharr al Ghifari in a long hadith in description of the journey of ascension narrated from the prophet,
“I said O angels of my Lord. Do you know us as we deserved to be known? They said, ‘O Prophet of God. How don’t we know you and you are the first creation of God, He created you as the spirits of light from His Light in a light from the sublimity of His Dignity and the sublimity of His Kingdom and the sublimity of His Honourable Face.”13
Imam Ali (as) said,
“Surely the Almighty God created from the light of Muhammad twenty oceans of light. In every ocean there is knowledge that none other than God knows about… Surely the light of Muhammad was sent down from the ocean of dignity so he came down to the ocean of patience then to the ocean of reverence then to the ocean of humbleness then to the ocean of satisfaction then to the ocean of loyalty then to the ocean of forbearing then to the ocean of piety… Until it went through twenty oceans. When it exited from the last ocean the Almighty God said ‘O My friend and the master of My messengers and the first of My creation and the last of My messengers, you are the intercessor on the day of gathering.’ Thus the light prostrated then he stood up and from that light many drops dropped that they numbered 124000 drops. So the Almighty God created from every drop of his light a prophet.14”

"A Fall From Grace" Self-Made Angel AU
A/N: I've had this in my head ever since the Origins SMP came out but I never knew what origin to give the reader. THEN I watched Afterlife SMP on Smajor1995's perspective in which he got the "Angel" Origin on his third (I think) death. I know it's not in the Origins SMP, but I wanted to be original and using the Witch origin was just too common. That and the work it's used in is phenomenal and I can't compete with it. SO! I picked the Angel origin from the Afterlife SMP instead and found it very fitting. I hope you enjoy 😊, it's very long just saying now.
Pairing: C!Phantombur x AngelOrigin!Fem!Reader
Genre: 🍃 angst?,🌷 fluff, 💐 spice {implied. Minors keep back}
AU: Angel (self created), Character plane, Origins SMP
TW: Minor violence and some intense flirting if you catch my drift. Cursing too. Minor mental breakdowns
Trope: Enemies to Lovers
Summary: There's a new Origin in town and the Potion Businessman Wilbur has his eye on a stunning prize. But beware, every rose has its thorns and this pretty flower might as well be a whole bush despite her "angelic" exterior.
Edit: my laptop shot crap on me and I don't have the financial stability or budget to get it fixed or a new one so I'm using my reading Kindle and it doesn't like to format texts...so just use your imagination. 👍

Welcome to the Origins SMP...you're life on Earth had ended and you have been chosen to join this elaborate group of hybrids. Here's your Origin.
🕊 Angel 🕊
Wings
Levitation
Weaker in other realms (Nether, End, etc.)
When you hit a monster it is set ablaze
Unable to weild a totem of undying
Like your Savior, you are able to walk and run upon water
Any and all debuffs via potions or spells are useless against you (enchantments not included)
Warning: Deviants of the Underworld have also been chosen to walk among you. Be safe.
✨✨A New Origin has Joined the World✨✨
The message was sent out across the entire plane. Every creature set and chosen for this version of Earth received it. Everyone knew you had arrived.
"Be safe. Deviants of the Underworld walk among you."
The warning changed in your head as you opened your eyes to the new world. You looked at your hands in awe at the power that radiated through your muscles. You stood and gazed at the landscape around you. A simple forest under a blue sky.
Something felt odd and you stretched out your arms feeling a tug on your back. You looked and a pair of the purest white feathered wings grew from your shoulder blades. They were stunning and as you stretched them you could hardly believe the length.
You tucked the beautiful wings to your back in fear of drawing attention to yourself in this new place.
'First things first...tools.' You thought and got to work with crafting and managing what little resources you could gather before nightfall. You weren't new to the dynamics of the New Earths. Yet you didn't quite know what you were doing. It was like an unstoppable instinct to just survive.
'Stone stone stone. Mountains would be ideal. I don't have stuff for light just yet and I have a feeling the caves won't be as friendly as the surface.' You debated in your head and began the search.
You managed to slay a few cows and pigs, even make a pair of leather boots to keep your bare feet protected.
The only thing covering your body was a robe. A rather thick one revealing nothing but highlighting the fact you were a woman at the same time.
Maybe a cloak of some kind could be on your priority list as well with the pending decision to seek shelter or get more suitable tools. Shelter seemed like a better option. Especially if these 'deviants' were the kind you thought.
[Time Skip to Nightfall]
You'd been walking for ages trying to find your way out of this stupid forest and night was beginning to fall just as you glimpsed an opening. A valley filled with buildings. One in particular rising above the rest into the sky.
You looked around yourself trying to decide whether or not to tough it out in the wilderness or take your chances on the lit up building.
"Might as well test these babies out." You muttered and stretched your wings.
You jumped off the edge of the hill where the forest lay and struck the feathered appendages down in an effort to lift yourself. It worked as the wind rushed under you and altitude climbed.
You smiled at yourself and flapped the great wings again and again till you were even with the ground of the floating island. You landed with a huff and tucked your already tired wings close to your back.
You could hear voices. Laughter and joyous cries of celebration. For what you couldn't tell. Maybe they were deviants that you'd been warned against. But even if they were, you could easily set them aflame with a single punch. You needed shelter. Suitable food and better clothes.
The wind had flung your thick robe and sent dirt cascading all along it. The white of the fabric was no longer that and rather filthy now.
"Take a chance. It can't be too bad." You said quietly and pushed against the door to the building in the sky. Glittering light poured in it stunned you for a moment. Brighter than the sunlight, or at least more concentrated, blinded you. The voices were continuous as you held the door open and stepped in. Your eyes adjusted rather quickly and you let the door close as you stepped into the place.
It smelled of ale and good spirits. Joy and the promise of laughter. The door slammed as the wind from outside sucked it in and the whole place stopped. Time seemed to freeze as your presence was suddenly acknowledged.
The first to notice you was a fellow winged person. A man dressed in a dark blue ish purple long coat with feathers protruding from his jawline. His wings were a darker grey and his hair a bright goldish blond. He seemed older as imperfections in his skin became more eminent as the light flickered under his dark grey and white striped hat. Crows feet by his eyes and lines etching under them. A light blond stubble etched along his chin and up to the dark feathers of his jaw.
"Well this one's new." A light hearted voice rang out amongst the silence. A smaller man, a boy even, with a pair of goggles on top his head and a fur lined bomber jacket leaned against a counter. Four translucent insect wings sprouted from his back and a black and yellow patch drew your attention to his sleeve where a extremely tall man in a simple suit and long purple tail coat stood beside him.
There was an aura about the tall man that unnerved you. His mismatched eyes and the crown that sat crooked on his head gave off an intimidating glow about him. Especially with the floating purple particles about him.
"Finally another girl!" A muffled voice next to you made you jump in your own skin. A fellow female stood in a tank of water, gills growing from her neck and flashes of pinkish scales reaching down her arms.
"I'm sorry?" A slightly annoying British voice jumped over the air and you spotted a small blonde man, again possibly a boy, with a red sleeved t-shirt and a small pair of red feathered wings, much too downy to be considered real ones, peeked over the head of the winged man who spotted you first.
"Who are you?" The dark winged man in the strange dark attire asked cautiously bit with a light smile.
"Clearly she's the new Origin we heard of a little bit ago." A voice came out of nowhere, behind you, and a shot of adrenaline flashed through your veins as you whirled around and summoned the iron sword you had been able to craft with what little you'd been able to find.
The tip aimed straight towards a partly transparent man's throat. His skin was deathly gray and two bright green eyes shone under the shade of a mess of soft looking brown hair.
Your wings flared out defensively causing wind to fly up with them and send a drink or two crashing to the floor. Fear ran through your blood. The man before you had his arms raised in a mock surrender. His yellow sweater was even transparent, torn and weathered in places to just barely reveal a white undershirt. A white collar poked over the edge of the sweater at his neck.
"Wilbur! What have I said about sneaking up on people?" The older man's voice was stern at the ghostly figure.
"Right right, don't. Yeah I've heard it before Phil. Don't get your feathers in a bunch." The ghost, or Wilbur it seemed, leaned to one side and used a finger to push your sword point down as he outstretched a translucent hand with a sort of halfway bow.
"Wilbur S. Phantom." He said cooly as if he hadn't just scared the shit out of you.
You ignored his hand and began to lower your wings and sword as you looked around.
The tall man in the suit had jumped over the counter and was crouched down behind it while the short boyish one with the translucent wings had begun to sort if float to the roof of the establishment.
"Wil you're just scaring her more." The man with wings, Phil, came over and straightened Wilbur up and pulled him aside.
"Hello, I'm sorry for my son's behavior. I'm Philza Elytrian. This is the Pub." The man with the dark wings said kindly with meaningful smile and an outstretched hand. You sheathed your sword and tucked your wings tightly in again.
"Y/N Angel." You said and glanced over all the other hybrid mutants before you.
"I'm Nikki Merling!" The muffled voice behind the glass said excitedly. Her voice was soft and welcoming now that you fully heard it.
"Hi.." You responded, A smile twitching in the corners of your mouth.
"Of course you've met Wilbur. He's a Phantom and tends to abuse his abilities to phase through walls. He's our Potions guy since he can gather ingredients undetected. And my son." Phil began to introduce everyone individually starting with a very sparkly man with stars for limbs it seemed.
"Scott Starborne. He's basically a God so mind not to piss him off or he might explode you."
"Jack Manifold Blazeborne. Immune to heat and a native to the Nether."
"This is Tommy Avian. He's my youngest son and my apprentice since his wings have still not fully grown in." Tommy shook your hand and the downy red wings on his back attempted to stretch out but it only made them curl back tighter. "We think something went wrong with his genetic make-up." Phil whispered to you.
You nodded and smiled at the Avian briefly before meeting the rest of the crew.
"Tubbo Bumblebee. Can float around, poison in his fingers, and is sort of like a flourist around here."
"This is Ranboo Enderian. Enderman abilities combined with his abnormally natural height. He's a good guy to have in your corner."
"Jschlatt Arachnid though most call him-"
"The Fragrance Man. Pleasure to meet you Angel." The Fragrance Man bowed with a smile and the pungent smell of him hit you like a train.
"Please don't call me that." You said with a cringe.
"Moving on," Philza said quickly and lead you to a seemingly empty corner. Then you looked down.
"That's Charlie Slimecician, he's basically a slime but half human. He gets small after a few hits." A blobby green figure stood at the height of you ankles and waved.
"And that's Sneegsnag Inchling. We just call him Sneeg. He's super small and likes to climb on people so watch out if you ever go to fly. You might have a hitchhiker."
"It was one time Phil. Get over it!" Sneeg called up to the much taller Elytrian. No doubt having experienced this 'hitchhiking.'
"Fundy and Technoblade aren't here right now but Fundy's basically just a fox and Techno looks like a pig but was given the Rabbit Origin. You'll know them when you see em." Philza turned back to you and you looked around again.
"Do you maybe have anything for clothing? I don't think this thing is going to last with my flying." You asked sheepishly and gestured to the already tattering robe.
"Ummm..." Phil's face flushed slightly and he glanced around. "Maybe Nikki does? She's more you're speed." He led you to the tank with the Merling. Nikki smiled and nodded.
"It's been so long since another girl was around!" She smiled widely.
Maybe this new plane of existence wasnt going to be so dangerous after all...
[Time Skip to a few Days Later]
Since meeting the Origins you hadn't had much going on. Nikki helped you with clothes, lending you several pairs of leather pants and a few linen shirts that fit fairly well. She never wore them because they weren't waterproof and mostly used them when it rained and she wanted to go walking. Which was hardly ever.
Rain wasnt 'rare' in the valley of The Pub (which you later learned had been renamed The Pube with a 'silent' e by one Wilbur S. Phantom.) But she hadn't wanted to go walking ever. The rain was so exciting that she never thought about it.
"So have you thought of where to build your house?" Nikki asked, her head bobbing in and out of the water cautiously.
"No not really. I found a cave up in the mountains but it's a bit far. Thinking about building right here by the lake but my neighbors aren't very appealing." You grimaced as you spotted the Phantom of the land. He was sitting under a tree with a brewing stand beside him and a book and quill in his hands. His translucent body sent a shiver up your spine as you redirected your attention back to your friend in the water.
"Wil really isn't that bad. He's just a flirty dumbass. He's quite nice really." Nikki assured you and traced shaped in the dampened grass by your boots. Your feet rested in the cool water of the lake with your leather pants rolled up halfway to your knees as the water ran over the bare skin.
"He's still creepy." You said and stretched out your wings as the sun warmed the white feathers.
"It's just cause he's a ghost. I'm telling you, he's nice." Nikki insisted. Her voice was sorrowful as she mentioned the word 'ghost.'
"How is he even Phil's son? He doesn't even have wings." You asked and began to run your fingers down the soft feathers of your wings.
"Well...that's more something to ask him really. It's not my story to tell." Nikki said and ducked under the water, leaving you impromptu to regain her ability to breathe.
"Alright then..." You sighed. Your curiosity tugged at your gut and a bold motive pumped through your heart. While Nikki composed herself you might as well start branching out. Its not like you can stay friends with one person forever.
You huffed and grabbed your boots and started walking across the grass towards the phantom man.
"Well hello. Come to tell me I'm creepy to my face?" Wilbur asked with a sly smile as you approached, not bothering to look up.
"You heard us?" You asked, a wave of embarrassment washing over you.
"No, I read lips." Wilbur said and looked up at you at last. The green of his eyes were stunning without the rushes of adrenaline finding them dangerous. He'd been sneaking up on you for the past few days, earning multiple swords swung at his head. All of them careful not to actually cut the poor man.
"Hmph. Well I actually came over to say I'm sorry for swinging blades at you and ask you a question but since you're clearly busy I'll leave you be." You said and started to walk off.
"Wait!" Wilbur shot to his feet and reached for your arm as you walked into the sunlight. Flames erupted on his skin and began to consume him.
"SHIT SHIT SHIT FUCKER SHIT!" Wilbur exclaimed and leapt into the lake with a surprisingly graceful dive. Steam billowed off the water's surface as you turned around at the noise.
"Wilbur?" You asked to the air. The smell of smoke tinged your nose. "Oh shit you're a phantom!" The realization hit you.
"Yeah no shit." He said as his head resurfaced, water dripping from the brown mess on his head and down his face. "I was just trying to stop you, Jesus Christ." He muttered and climbed out the water, shaking out his head as the shade of a tree cast over him, preventing him from burning again.
"Why?" You asked with a desire to laugh. How could he forget he burned in daylight so easy?
"Because, like you, I'm a curious nobody who wants to know things. So what-" Wilbur paused as he spotted your face. "Are you...are you laughing at me?" He said with a darkening tone.
"Maybe a little." You snickered. Your wings trailed the ground and twitched with amusement.
"Oh hush it you sunloving bitch! I didn't exactly ask for it." Wilbur held a smile of his own back at your childish attempts to not mock him.
"So sorry Danny Phantom, I just think the fact you don't even understand your own abilities is quite hilarious." You sniffed back a laugh and wiped your eyes.
"You're one to talk. You can hardly fly properly." Wilbur shot back, a conniving smile playing his translucent lips, his arms crossing over his chest.
"And what would you know about flying?" You set your hands on your hips, flaring your snowy white wings out slightly as the sun basked over your features.
"Enough to know you flap too hard and too often. Enough to know you should let the wind carry you rather than your own feathers or you'll tire the muscles out before you can ever find a decent landing spot." Wilbur leaned against the oak tree causing his shade.
You fumed as you recalled the many landings you'd had to take. The aching of your wings every night when you went to sleep.
"Yeah? And how do you know this?" You crossed your arms.
"Because, Angel Darling, I used to fly." Wilbur pushed off the tree and snapped his fingers as he walked to the edge of the shade. Just where the border of the sunlight stopped.
With the snap of his fingers a pair of mangled and tattered wings the color of Phil's feathers protruded from the Phantom's back. Bones stuck out of the tips and a bat like skin had been stretched over the limbs, bone poking through at odd angles.
"They don't work anymore sadly, but they were beautiful back in my prime. Now they're just a decoration that gets caught on branches." Wilbur ran a ghostly hand down one of the wings, its stillness bothered you. Usually wings would twitch or flex at the touch of rather anything. Even Tommy's faulty wings stretched or curled each time a branch or shoulder grazed them.
"Wilbur, I'm sorry." You said after a moment of marveling at the damage. "What happened?" You asked cautiously, reaching out a hand into his shade.
Wilbur quickly made the wings disappear with a roll of his shoulders.
"Wouldn't you like to know. Only Phil and Tommy are allowed to know my 'tragedy', as people call it. Family only, if you understand." Wilbur smirked and ran a hand through his brown hair.
"Anyone else who knows has sworn to never tell a soul and anyone who does say will be severely punished." Wilbur growled and your hand retreated. If he wanted to be a prick when you were only wanting an answer then fine. Two can play that game.
"Awww, is the little Potions master embarrassed of his fall from grace?" You mocked with a glare. "A simple 'A bad accident' would've sufficed asshole." You flared your wings to leap off. Wilbur's eyes darkened as a scowl etched his translucent features.
"You're pretty prickly yourself for such a pretty Angel." Wilbur sneered.
"Whoever said all Angels were nice Ghost Boy?" You snarled and beat your wings and leapt into the sky sending wind blowing the leaves of the tree he sheltered under askew and releasing the sunlight upon him once more. You beat your wings proudly as you flew off listening to the string of curses flowing from the burned ghost's lips behind you.
[Several Days Later]
You hadn't run into Wilbur again since you burned him. You'd spent the last few days gathering wood from various trees and taking flying lessons from Phil who's wingspan was similar to your own. Yours being slightly larger "due to your youth." As Phil told you.
It was going wonderfully. You'd been able to gather enough iron to make yourself a chestplate with the guidance of Jack who knew a thing or two about molten stuff. You paid him in a few nuggets of gold and a new flint and steel, should he get trapped in his homeland ever.
Nikki had helped you start building by the lake, on the exact opposite side of Wilbur, and even connected her little underwater cavern to a tank in your house.
Not only had you not run into the ghostly man, but you hadn't even seen the translucent nuisance. It was unnervingly quiet at the lake and maybe he just stopped going out in the day. He did catch fire at even the smallest ray of sunlight so it wouldn't entirely surprise you that the man was keeping to the covers of night.
Tonight however, so we're you. You needed bones for bone meal for your farm so you could feed your cows and make some bread for yourself.
The moon was full and fog had rolled in on the valley of The Pub. You had gone far away from where the lights of the settlements glowed and only had the light of the moon to guide your feet as you listened for the rattling of bones or the string of a bow being stretched.
Courtesy of The Fragrance Man, you wielded a diamond sword. You'd crafted it yourself but the enchantments laid on its blade were all the Arachnid's doing.
Heat radiated off the sword and a glimmer of a protective shield was cast over the diamond weapon. It was supposed to set fire to anything it touched, much like your own fists could with a punch, and it was spelled to be practically unbreakable. In exchange for a favor in the future, the sword was all yours for as long as you wanted it.
The Fragrance Man had denied calling you by your name and still settled for just calling you 'Angel.' The man was a priest, sort of, so you didn't really worry too much about it. He might be creepy but you could set fire to anything you punched. That made you dangerous and him susceptible to your attacks if he crossed the line.
So, with your new sword and chest plate, you set off into the night in search of the undead. You had succeeded as a rattle echoed off in the distance and you shot towards it in a flurry of quick jabs and slices while ducking from arrows. It wasn't long before the skeletons fell and you could collect their cargo.
With a few skeletons gone you decided to head back to your home by the lake. Then the screams of frustration reached you. You were slightly conflicted to help.
The only people crazy enough to get cornered by a horde weren't ones you necessarily liked. But you had time and a weapon fully capable of helping. Not to mention some badass wings to knock a few skulls around with.
"Fine fine. Let's go be a hero I guess." You muttered and leaped into the air with a blow of your wings. You soared high above the fading fog as you got closer to the end of the valley and peered down to the ground with the little light you could use from the moon. You couldn't hardly see the figure surrounded by the monsters but you could hear them.
"You idiotic assholes just get back! Where the fucking Hell are you all coming from?!" The frustrated voice screamed into the night. You smelled bread and spotted a helmet of iron as you swooped down cautiously.
"Phil?" The helmet looked up as your winged shadow cast over them from the moonlight. That's when you realized who you were saving.
"Far from it Ghost Boy." You glared and dived down with your sword swinging flames upon the monsters of the night. "I'm better."
Wilbur scoffed and straightened his helmet and fought the deviants of the night at your back, skillfully ducking under your wings as you threw monsters away where your sword could not reach.
Wilbur's silence as he fought with his own weapon, an iron sword with more than a few cracks, was amazing. Not so much as a grunt escaped him as he swung with effortless movements. Before long dawn was rising and the sky helped vanquish the horde.
Wilbur was quick to send himself invisible once the sun rose though you could still see him due to the helmet on his head and the bread vanishing down what must have been his mouth.
You acted out of mercy and drew your wings over his back and head as the sun climbed up the sky. "Relax Mr. Invisible. You've been through enough tonight." You muttered as he flinched under your shading feathers.
"And what's with the change of heart? Deciding to be a good girl for once?" Wilbur teased with a menacing smile as he changed back to his translucent form.
"I don't know, would you like to burn all the way home?" You narrowed your eyes with a challenge. Wilbur stuffed the last bit of bread in his mouth in a silent no.
The two of you walked in silence back to the lake, you lowering your wings as you opted for a forest edge as soon as one was available. Wilbur 'ghosted' from tree shade to tree shade while you stayed in the sunlight of the valley. When the Pub's settlements were close enough Wilbur stopped, stopping you with him out of quiet surprise.
"Why did you help me?" He asked suddenly.
"Why shouldn't I have?" You countered.
"Whatever happened to 'Not all Angels are nice.'?"
"Never said I wasn't. You'd just pissed me off."
"Because I didn't answer your question?" Wilbur scoffed with a slight of sarcasm.
"Because you were an ass about it. I get it, I'm new. I don't know anything about anyone. Especially you. Especially when you avoid and dodge every attempt I make at getting to know you or being an ass about it and starting an argument." You crossed your arms and tucked in your wings frustratedly.
"It's called flirting, Darling Angel." Wilbur leaned against a tree and removed his helmet to allow a plethora of brown curly hair to fall across his emerald eyes.
"You suck at it Wilbur Soot." You snickered and slipped under a tree yourself as the sun beat down in an unrelenting heat. "And please don't call me Angel. The Fragrance Man does that enough as it is." You huffed with an easy smile.
"Schlatt? Seriously? That's who you're worried about? I can literally phase through walls undetected. I could've been following you all these days watching you bathe or something." Wilbur snickered.
"That's perverted Wilbur." You screwed up your face and suddenly felt very self conscious.
"I said I could. But I would never because you're right. That is perverted and I'm not an abuser of my abilities much to you and my father's beliefs." Wilbur insisted "Believe it or not I'm a rather good gentleman." Wilbur said with a joking smile. You snickered quietly.
"Right right. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say I believe you. I don't think I'll ever feel comfortable on my own again, thanks Wil." You say with a snap of venom. What would one of your conversations be without a little poison.
"There's no wall you can hide behind, Y/N. I can forever find you." Wilbur's voice echoed like it wasnt actually there. You stared at him but his lips didn't move to match the words you heard.
"What?" You asked, placing a hand on your belt where the sword sheath and sword from The Fragrance Man was attached.
"I said, that wasn't my intentions. I said I was sorry." Wilbur phased his way through the narrow chain of sunlight between the two trees you stood under and was soon placing a chilled hand on your forehead much to your very notable surprise. "Are you alright Ang- Y/N? You're sweating like Ranboo in a storm." Wilbur joked with a smile, quickly correcting himself from the uncanny nickname.
What was he always smiling for? He was a ghost with a supposedly 'tragic' demise. He was dead. He was regarded with caution anywhere he went. His potions business was a scam and a half and his cheeky comments and demeanour had no doubt gotten him into many instances of making enemies. What did this man have to smile about so often for?
"I have family and friends, Y/N. That's why I smile. I'm dead but I can still be with them and they know I am." Wilbur answered. You hadn't realized you'd said the first of your thought out loud. Or that you were sitting now. The heat from the sun on your iron chest plate was suffocating. Not to mention it was tight inside of it from moving as much while fighting through the night and hardly any at all during the walk. Your wings dropped to the ground and for once they felt like the heaviest things on this plane of existence.
"Y/N? What's wrong?" Wilbur's voice was edging on concern. His hands were freezing on your overheating skin. Skin. Where was he touching you? You squeezed your eyes shut and concentrated. Your hand was under one of his, and his other was holding your face as sweat seeped from your boiling skin.
"The chestplate." You huffed and pulled at the collar of it reaching frantically for the leather straps holding to your body on your sides. Your, now shaking, fingers fumbled with the leather on one side. By the time you'd gotten one undone Wilbur had managed to get the two on the other side. He quickly undid the last strap and the chest plate was heaved off your shoulders by Wilbur, careful not to crush your wings.
"Better?" He asked, his hand still resting on your hand. Grasping it even.
You nodded and flipped your palm to grip his. "Just give me a second and I'll be fine." You huffed and closed your eyes tightly. Breathing in and out and focusing on the coolness of Wilbur's hand.
The heat calmed in your skin until the sweating stopped. You opened your eyes after a moment or two to see Wilbur staring at you with those vibrant eyes.
"What? Have I got a cut?" You asked and reached your free hand to your face. Before you could check yourself Wilbur was holding up your connected hands. That's when you realized.
"Oh shit I'm so-" you started to unravel your fingers from his in a rush. Your wings flared as cold spread through your still heated face. A softness enveloped your lips as you gathered what was happening.
Wilbur's eyes were shut as his face pressed to yours. It was an odd feeling, being kissed by a ghost.
You eventually just shut your eyes too, embracing the action with the little hesitation, pressing back to the cold lips. Wilbur's hand tightened on yours and his other translucent limb reached to your wings, caressing the feathers softly and causing a shudder up your spine.
Wilbur let you breathe for a moment from his impromptu kiss before removing his hand from yours in the grass and lifting your chin to fully face him.
"Is this okay with you?" He asked, his voice shaky and unknowing. Surprisingly something inside you lit up at the question. He'd caught you off gaurd in a vulnerable state from the overheating. Managed to cool you down and was still asking if you were okay.
"Yeah..." You breathed and Wilbur leaned over your body against the tree, trailing a cold ghostly hand up your white wings earning a small gasp before gently reconnecting your lips. He was curious as his hand explored the feathers, each small movement making them twitch and relax under his translucent fingers.
Each flinch of your feathers parted your mouth a little at a time before it was too tempting to explore. Wilbur's tongue was so cold it was like having an ice cube numb your mouth. It was...different. You hadn't kissed anyone since coming into this world and this was one Hell of a first.
Wilbur's hand on your chin trailed up your jawline and reached into your hair, massaging and playing with your scalp and causing an intense cold to spread over you and numb your senses almost completely. His hand on your wings traveled closer to your back where the skin and downy feathers met your shoulder blades. The holes you'd cut into your linen shirts had been a tad big but it just made it easier to fly.
"Wilbur, what're you doing?" You breathed out as he drew away for you to breathe. He didn't need to being dead and all.
"I-" He looked into your hooded eyes and his hand drew away from your back, the one exploring your hair stopping its soft movements. There was a rustling behind him and before either of you could react someone burst through the bushes.
"Jesus mother of Christ foliage is thick as fuck." Tommy's bright accent busted the tension between you and Wilbur and neither of you could move as the small winged man spotted you. You sat with your back to a tree and Wilbur, Tommy's older brother, hovering over you incredibly close with your chest plate thrown aside.
"Tommy! It's not was it looks-" Wilbur started to rush out and leapt to his feet to reach his brother who was frozen in place.
"WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK IS GOING ON?!" The Avian yelled out and both you and Wilbur flinched.
"Y/N that's my fucking brother what the fuck?! Nikki's been lookin for you and you're out here catching the birds and the bees with my-" Tommy started into a compulsive and loud rant before Wilbur phased under the sunlight and placed an invisible hand over his mouth, reducing it to muffled yells. Tommy pulled away with a disgusted tone of voice.
"Don't fucking touch my face you fucker, I don't know where those hands have been." Tommy gagged at the thought and your face turned a fiery red, the heat returning but this time manageable against your slightly numb skin where Wilbur had touched and kissed you.
"Tommy I swear, I just got overheated and he helped me get the chest plate off that's all!" You rushed to help explain. You couldn't see Wilbur or feel his presence. Did that asshole just leave you to deal with his slightly traumatized brother?!
The anger you'd previously held over and dissipated for the ghostly businessmen returned in full force.
"That-" Tommy started but you cut him off in a stern voice, one built up with anger at Wilbur. Anger that kept rising. After what he'd just done the guy was just gonna skip out on you because someone caught him doing something embarrassing?!
"Tommy just shut it. He helped me get a chestplate off after I got too hot. That's it and for you to think otherwise is foolish. Your brother and me aren't even friends." You spat and went to go retrieve your armor piece.
Tommy stayed silent as you stood straight up and took a deep breath. A chill went through your chest as you felt a pair of eyes watching. These not the unbelieving ones of Tommy, but ones of hurt and slight hatred that couldn't be seen.
'Stop it Wilbur. You know it can't happen.' You shot towards the ripple of light as grass swished under invisible feet. It was a mistake helping him as much as you did. A mistake letting him kiss you.
At the end of the day he was just a flirty asshole who couldn't help but only think of himself. He was a scammer. A coward. The exact opposite of what you would ever want. A businessman of zero shame.
"Do you want a fly home?" You turned back to Tommy with a flare of your large wings.
"No. No I'm out looking for sugarcane." He said, his eyes still slightly in shock at what he had witnessed.
"Right then. Tell Phil I said hi." You muttered and shouldered past the small boy, careful not to hit him with your wings and you reached a sunny clearing in the trees. You waited till Tommy had walked away into the forest before you wrapped yourself in your wings and let a few hot tears run down your freezing cheeks.
"stupid stupid stupid." You heaved out over a choked sob. You could feel his presence lingering around you. Wilbur was still around. Still watching you as you broke down. You were an idiot for believing he could actually be nice.
"Get over it now, Y/N. He's the worst deviant you'll run across." You utter loud enough for anyone within earshot to hear. 'Anyone' being Wilbur. You heard a branch crack and a bush shift as something unseen walked into it. Then you spread your wings and leapt into the sky, careful not to beat too hard and exhaust your energy too soon.
"Wait!" You heard him below you. You could see his ghostly figure clearly in your mind reaching out to the sky though he would surely be invisible from the sunlight.
You soared up above the clouds and let the tears rain down freely. What the Hell was wrong with you?! The guy had been nothing but a creep since your first day here and you just let him kiss you! Let him touch your wings like they were his own. God you felt so stupid. And poor Tommy, he had to see it. Or the end of it at least.
Your mind slowly began to thaw from Wilbur's icy touch. That must've been what caused your submission. The cold that emanated from even the slightly touch from him. Hell knowing him he probably did it on purpose.
Figured out from eavesdropping on you telling Nikki you'd be going out tonight. He probably got himself cornered by monsters on his own and lured you there knowing you'd help. Then he'd get you alone in the forest and take advantage of you with the numbing of the cold he inflicted.
It made your blood boil deep in your chest at the thought. Wilbur Soot would pay for his intentions. Good or not he left you to deal with HIS family. The one he claimed was the reason he could still smile after everything that happened to him.
Curse to his handsome face. To his soft skin. His beautiful and dorky smile. Curse to his swagger in every word. That accent that could make the coldest heart melt. The charm woven into that silver tongue of his. That tongue. To Hell with that tongue.
{LET THE WARS BEGIN}
🕊💀🕊💀🕊💀 [Time Summary of Several Months]🕊💀🕊💀🕊💀
Catalog of the Burning Wars, written by Philza Elytrian
The first attack: Y/N Angel set fire to the trees surrounding Wilbur S. Phantom's home removing all shade from his land for several blocks. She has also drained his side of the lake with the permission of Nikki Merling in agreement to link the lake to a river system going all across the lands of The Pub.
The retaliation: Wilbur S. Soot in retaliation destroyed an upcoming crop field in the process of growing from Y/N Angel.
The Declaration of War: Y/N Angel announced at The Pub on August 9th that Wilbur Soot Phantom was now her enemy and anyone who got in her way of 'making that piece of shit' pay would be as well.
The Accused: As claimed by Wilbur, he hadn't heard of her declaration of war. Merely assuming that the burning and draining of his land was a minor upsetting and his retaliation was to be the end of their feud. He has since not discussed any details of the newly declared war.
The Attacker: Y/N Angel has only disclosed that Wilbur has shamed her in an unforgivable way. She claims her takes on friendship with the Potions Businessman had been rebuked with a key try in taking advantage of her new presence to this world. Y/N has quoted
"Wilbur Soot might be a gentleman to his friends, but to me he is merely a fiend and a deviant that has wronged me in more ways than one. I will no longer tolerate his creeping of my person or the advances he seems to wish to make."
Over the course of the ongoing war, now named The Burning War after the intense use of fire from both sides, multiple scrimmages between the two parties have occurred. All of which taking place in a forest or plain far from the Pub as both parties have agreed;
"Our fighting is amongst the two of us and no one else should pay for our anger towards each other."
Signed,
Philza Elytrian, Scribe of The Burning Wars 💀🕊💀🕊💀🕊[End of Time Summary]💀🕊💀🕊💀🕊
It'd been months. Nearly a year since you declared war on Wilbur and he was no closer to admitting he had done wrong. Over the many negotiations held between the two of you nothing came of it.
Wilbur merely yelled he didn't know what he'd done and therefore had nothing to apologize for. You being the stubborn woman you were, time and time again explained it to him. How he left you to take care of his problems. Their problems. How he vanished on you the second things got a little uncomfortable then tried to play it off like you were the one at fault for it.
You hadn't shared your theory on his intentions that day. His theoried plan you had formed on the fly back home.
How could you? You weren't dumb, you knew it was only an assumption your angered mind had formed. Knew that if you said it and it was false your shame would kill you. Yet you couldn't think of another way to tell him you thought he was a creep when the only 'proof' you had of this claim was that he scared you every once in a while from passing through a wall to jumpscare you.
And now you were back here. In the Pub. Your neutral ground. You'd told Phil, the common ground and mediator between the two of you and Wilbur. As usual Phil told everyone to avoid the place but you knew they were closeby. Sneeg would be hiding behind the bottles of alcohol stacked on a shelf or Tommy perched on top the Pub with Tubbo. Ranboo maybe if he could get a pearl high enough. Jack might be hiding in his little lava hole listening in on rare occasion.
This didn't stop you from trying to negotiate with Wilbur in terms of ending this war. You didn't even know what you wanted from him. A surrender and an apology seemed like the best solution but you knew deep down it wouldn't be enough. He would continually piss you off on purpose. He would dig at you till you cracked and sent an arrow flying at his head or a wing swinging straight into his translucent chest.
Much to your delight, Wilbur was solid as a rock when not in his phantom state. Anything could hurt him just as it could a regular human. You didn't want to kill the man no. You were angry but not that angry. No matter what you did you couldn't wipe that smug smile off his face every time he riled you up.
You clenched your fist now as he walked in. For once he used the doors of The Pub. You sat at a table with your wings brought high up and tucked in tight. The dumbass was eating an apple and each step he took closer to you highlighted a new accessory to his outfit.
A slim fitting tail coat the color of the darkest blue fit snuggly over a blue and lime striped vest and reached down a pair of equally dark blue slacks with a perfect crease down the middle. He wore a circular pair of glasses slightly tinted over his stunning green eyes. Bone shaped clasps reached across the seam of his vest and black slick shoes rested and tapped the wood floor on his fading feet. His hair was combed out but as unruly as ever as it curled over one of his eyes slightly.
He took a large bite of his apple, never breaking eye contact with you as he pulled out the chair across from you, then threw it in your direction. To which you caught it.
"Y'know I had a great deal comin' up for today. Schlatt was gonna buy my whole stock for ten stacks of gold blocks and a half a stack of diamonds. Technoblade would've gladly taken the gold and traded me a stack of diamonds or even some Netherite ingots for each block." The man leaned back and set his ghostly fading feet on the wooden table.
"Your stock is just potions of leaping and some fire res mixed in wth exactly two potions of regeneration." You pointed out. "You and Ranboo literally had to scam Tommy into drinking one you were so much of a failure."
"Yet who's wearing the tailored suit here?" Wilbur examined his fingers before turning back to you with a smug grin.
You scowled at him, debating your response. "The coward and the joke of this negotiation." You spat after a second of letting him think he won. At your words, Wilbur's smile twitched and he swiftly swung his lanky legs off the table and leaned forward, his hands grasped together under his chest as his face reached near the middle of the table.
"And what have I done right or wrong now to deserve such a merciful meeting Angel Darling?" The man said with a venom of sarcasm escaping his silver tongue. Your blood began to boil.
"Absolutely nothing. You don't deserve my mercy Wilbur Soot but here I am offering it." You leaned towards him as well letting your wings cast a shadow over the two of you from one of the lanterns above.
"I don't even know what I could've done wrong to even need your 'mercy.'" Wilbur said and those green eyes of his darted across your face.
"For starters you burnt down my wheat field." You said.
"You burnt my trees. And drained the water from my land." He countered.
"You were a prick and I wasn't going to deal with it any longer." You spat back.
"And how could I have offended you so badly that it warranted so much ash on my land?" He asked, knowing full well your answer.
"Tommy. That day in the forest. You GHOSTED me Wilbur!" You stood from your chair with a bang of your fist. You were tired of repeating this story. "You let me deal with a problem that was OURS by myself with someone who YOU knew how to handle! The boy still doesn't look at me correctly Wil! He thinks I'm some manipulate bitch who tried to get with his brother and cover up for it!" You yelled. This one was new. You hadn't told Wilbur about Tommy being reclusive around you. How he never met your eyes or returned your greetings. How the boy would simply just turn away from you and run or pretend he was busy.
"Angel-" Wilbur was on his feet now and standing before you with a pleading look. The nickname sent you spiraling till that final cord of restraint snapped.
"That's NOT MY FUCKING NAME!" You yelled and grabbed the man by his suit and burst the two of you to the balcony of The Pub. With a single arm you held Wilbur's writhing body over the edge. You'd learnt to organize your negotiations meeting at sunset or dusk in case something like this happened. Which it usually did but never at this magnitude. You'd never lost control like this.
Your wings were flared and tensed, your arm, stiff, at Wilbur's neck as you held him dangling over the edge from a VERY dangerous height. He choked as you tightened your grip. (Which was odd considering he didn't need air to breathe...)
You flinched at his noise. He didn't breathe air. You were actually causing damage. Possibly permanent if you didn't let go. So you stumbled back and released him on the wood of The Pub. You fell onto the ground and quickly cocooned yourself inside your own wings and held you head as the terror of permanently hurting someone sunk in. Hurting Wilbur.
All of this. This war. It was pointless. It was just YOUR anger. You were the only one angry in this battle. Wilbur hadn't DONE anything. Just being a prick but nothing worth lashing out the way you had. Tears streamed down your face and sobs wrecked your throat as you realized the purpose of this war.
The dumbass had stolen your heart. He'd charmed his way into it with each negotiation. Each smug remark and sly smile. Every wink and quip that would've made you roll over laughing had you not been so angry. This frustration you'd felt with every interaction with the ghostly man wasn't out of anger or rage from him dumping you with Tommy, though you were still pretty mad about that. It was from the fact you couldn't help but smile at his words after you were done fighting and you were alone. How you dreamt of being on peaceful terms and enjoying his company more than hating it.
Good God....you were in love with him. Obsessed with him even. He haunted your dreams in a way you didn't know anyone could. His words rang in your head with every movement of your body.
'It's called flirting, Darling Angel.'
'Y/N? What's wrong?'
Every small interaction when you hadn't been fighting was some of your favorite memories. God you'd messed everything up. He probably hated you. No. It was definite he did. You nearly just dropped him off a floating island over a small quarrel that could've been solved from maybe a small amount of yelling and an apology.
Something touched you. Something freezing cold but welcoming with the gentleness of its caress. Your feathers twitched involuntarily under that icy glance of contact. They relaxed and your body betrayed your want to be alone as one of your wings relaxed and allowed itself to be moved enough for Wilbur to poke his translucent body into your feathery cage.
You accustomed your 'cage' to shelter both of you as you wiped your face. The tears of knowing the man you possibly loved would surely hate you.
Wilbur had removed his glasses and coat. A long white sleeved collared shirt ran down his arms though the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows exposing the pale ish grey of his arms. And the scars. God the amount of scars on his arms was frightening but you could hardly react as more tears, hot with embarrassment, flooded your vision.
"Y/N...I'm sorry for what I did to hurt you. God I never thought it would go this far." Wilbur's gentle voice was like a melody to your ears. Euphoric and angelic. The apology soothed your anger enough for you to finally be able to focus on composing yourself.
"Wilbur I'm sorry as well. I shouldn't have-" You started but felt a chill run down you as something cold was once again your tear stained lips.
Wilbur. Wilbur was that 'something' and it was a blessing. You didn't waste anytime returning the favor. His tongue was quicker to break past your defenses and soon it was numb again inside your mouth. Just like it was that day in the woods, except this time no one would interrupt you and anyone watching or listening wouldn't have a single thing as your wings hid the two of you from the world. Wilbur pulled away and cast a gentle touch up your face till he was cupping your cheek.
"Y/N, I never want you to apologize to me again. I did this. I caused you to lash out because I wanted your attention. I wanted you to look at me like you do Nikki. But more. I wanted to be more than your friend and I started my goal the only way I knew how. Provoking you until I was your main focus." Wilbur panted as he looked into your eyes. Those green irises practically glowing under the amount of emotion swimming in them.
"I can only pray that you forgive me. Forgive me for every wrong I've done and let me fix it. Allow me to make it up to you." He begged with a crack of his voice and you couldn't help but smile.
"Wilbur Soot...you are the single most aggravating man I've ever had the luck of meeting." You said through tears and pulled his collar towards you and kissed him hard.
This time you were going to surprise him. As soon as you felt his mouth part you sent in your tongue against his.
A gasp from him into your mouth sent your head reeling as you tugged at his vest and his hands ran through your hair.
The chill exploded a new kind of warmth through you and you smiled against the lips of the coldest man you knew.
"Angel, I love you." Wilbur said as you broke the kiss for a breath of air.
"I love you too Ghost Boy." You panted out and smiled as he kissed you again. Not the kind of comfort as before. But the one of a man who missed you. You. Not his enemy on the battlefield but you. The angel crying before the ghost. The kiss lingered and you felt something change.
You grabbed Wilbur's hands and lead him to the ledge you'd nearly dropped him off of before jumping with him before he had a chance to even register what was happening. With a smile you pulled him close with a kiss of your own and stretched your wings out, letting the wind lift you up and soar the two of you to a forest. The one where all your battles were waged.
And the one where the final negotiation of surrender would end without anyone to see the declaration of The Burning Wars coming to a close and you finally opening to Wilbur S. Phantom in more ways than one and him doing the same.
{Epilogue}
A few years passed and Wilbur had finally answered all your questions about him. His accident that cost him his wings and everything you might need to know about phantoms. His favorite food happened to be bread since it was easy and very relaxing to make on days he wasn't busy getting potion ingredients.
Which he also changed up. You become his partner at the Potion shop which was quickly renamed Fallen Angel Potions after the fact of Wilbur's accident and your origin.
The Fragrance Man was returned his sword after it was cut down to very poor conditions seeing as he was officially top of your creep list and owing him a favor was not on your bucket list.
It was nice. Blissful having Wilbur by your side. It was a marvel that the two of you had ever fought considered how close you were now. The old battlefield had flourished and was now overgrown save for a small patch in the middle which had been flattened by multiple rendezvous after work or just in your free time with Wilbur.
His trees were replanted and the lake basically turned into a whole wheat field around the trees of his dark 'mansion' and your birch cottage.
After a while, Philza Elytrian earned a daughter-in-law and Tommy Avian grew out his wings large enough to be able to glide into the ceremony as Wilbur's best man. Peace at last.
"I love you Angel."
"I love you too Ghost Boy."

Ho. Ly. SHIT. This is the single longest one shot I've ever done on any platform and on any account. It got so cringe in the ending I'm sorry. I just wanted to get it over with I was so close.
Honestly I was gonna make it multiple parts but I've already got another fic lined up for a part 2 so I didn't want to do that and multi task. Its shitty at some parts I know but those parts are a LOT better than the original bits that were there.
It's slightly edited as I had to keep reading it to see where the fuck I was going with it most the time. I really enjoyed writing in Philza because what's a Wilbur Soot fic without a good Dadza?
Right then, watch out for my next piece. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you shitwads later! Love ya, I do I promise! 💙💙

Truth is the Portal to ALL ~ 5D
Clearing karma and knowing that choice of + / - will equal your life and know there are many, many beings; humans, authorities that know, are watching, viewing, and even the ancestors are no longer tapped in to those that seek to harm innocent, block the innocent, or continue corrupt games
These shifts were called 6 months ago
Prophets tapped in call it - and know that God has His hands on all aspects of any and all realms that have taken from me, my work, this dimension, all directions, all realms ~ the ancestors, the legions, have all gathered to ensure, assure that 'whatever any may think is hidden, or withheld' due to misogyny, wounding of the inner self, no sense of self, wounding of abandonment - is now in the mirror to face all involved;
When God said enough it is time for balance - it is time for balance - God is, None play above God, on the divine plans for all evolutionary programs for all times, all realms, all dimensions;
signatures falsified
policies and documents, that have anything to do with me that has not had any involvement with me, nor discussions, no permissions, no signatures, and no approvals on any level ~ estranged for the past 7 years and the only signature is on legal with my lawyer - otherwise, there is no signature of mine
any signatures of in my name, any monies, meant for me, have not been given, handed over, not 1 penny
I know what is meant for me; I have earned over lifetimes, and Spirit, has showed me they (ex and the gang he belongs with) community elite, those that abuse power, underground group type of activities, mind-controlling, spell work, and narratives to fool the innocent over the truth of the Divine
Many were involved with lies, slight of hand, paying for silence, many knew what monies, many involved living lavishly off of monies the divine was only offered to those that would use for the collective and those that use, abuse such - will be sent the darkness of their own intentions -
Universal Laws are returning - all spell work, returning, every person involved receiving karma and the only way through is truth
When you choose to deal with voodoo, spell work to imbalance another, imbalance creation - the energy has to muster from somewhere - and thus, the spell caster will be imbalanced, and if there are already healthy issues, mental imbalances, this is a disaster in the making and why none have the right to do spell work and harm, withdraw from any other - none have the right and all will be shown;
Monies, every person spending money that is not theirs' will be sure to see it taken, this is only universal law
Withholding truth, withholding monies, withheld personal property and all harm any harm done to another of innocence, superficial drive will be brought same and equal taking, illness, and darkness -
All is intention - and the karma now is immediate - truth is the only way through - God has His legions on every light workers aligned with Universal Laws - all spiritualists will be asked by their guides and ancestors to level up to higher spiritual order, and expansion

When it is simply time to move on and be of good will - allow those that are able and ready to heal - to heal - life is far too precious and short -
All is healable - all can be healed - connect with Source, God, the higher self - any diety, at this point, any bidding, any spell work at this point is only paving an even rougher road and all will be shown their part, their choices, and actions taken to harm, derail, and take out a chosen one, a devoted healer, and wisdom teacher for new earth and all those upon her #5D new earth #5DGaia #healinghumanity - God speaks and so too it is
youtube
#this is my word
All have their right to express and explore the most high in their own unique ways and gifts, talents - there are those of us, that are tuned into a version of reality - most do not know, or care to know, or even think is possible - that does not make us wrong, or not worthy of being here - we are beyond 3D and it is our role to offer such for higher vibrational learning, growth, soul access for gifts, talents, wisdoms, clues, cues for higher intelligence and knowing with Source, God - beyond what any 3D has ever told, taught - we are evolutionary beings - we are here to evolve beyond fear-based programs, subjugation and control, dominance - and why all corruption and how it is based upon for the swaying of voice, choice, energy and all is being rebalanced -
All have equal and fair rights to lead, to be heard, and seen;
My channel has not grown in 6yrs and yet promote it daily - while other channels are steadily growing - Source, God, all involved will now face karma - it is going against all universal laws - and discrimination, harassment, and fraud - while I have lived in poverty still bringing healing, teachings, wisdoms of liberation to humanity while being stalked, spell-casted daily, and blocks put on my life in every way by many, many facets - how is this fair of being a human on earth - many many are being called out - in however Spirit will show all their karma -
Source is the only distributor and if you go back to our videos our blogs, my word, my prophetic word had offered such unfolding years ago -
youtube
All have a choice for who they wish to be - truth is the only way,
Healing is everything for the new version of you - all-ness, oneness, and healing the wounds that separate ~ all is possible - all is One,
Blessings and light,

The love that has been taken away from me.
Have you ever loved a pet as much as you love your family? Or have you loved a pet more than your family?
My family and I had our first dog named Ikoy. Ikoy is an Askal dog that was given to my mom. When my mom brought him home, as first-time dog owners, my siblings and I were looking forward to a dog with a breed like a Shitzu, Poodle, or any other cute breed that we had in mind.
Tumblr media
My mom opened the door carrying a puppy with thin-coated hair, thin legs, and a big tummy. My siblings and I were shocked and said things like, "Is that a rat or a dog?" and "We thought you were bringing a cute dog!" We even said we wouldn't take care of him, and that she should be the one to take care of him.
After we said those horrible things to the poor pup, I looked at him and observed him. He was just playing and running even though his back left leg was not bending. I felt sorry for him and tried to help by bending his leg, but it kept coming back for being stuck. That's when our love story began.
He was a great boy. He did not give up on running until his legs moved normally. We helped him by bending it regularly. It looked cute when he was running with those not-so-bendy legs. He slept with us in our bed, and we cared a lot more about him than our family. Haha!
Tumblr media
When we went home after a long tiring day from school, the first thing we thought about was him. He knew how to knock, and he even knew how to hug us when we were sleeping.
Tumblr media
But years later, since I was a graduating student and my siblings had already started working, we were not able to give him as much attention and care as before. We saw him more often running in the street freely and playing with other dogs. We would just shout "go home!" when we spotted him outside playing.
One morning, we noticed blood in his private area. We did not take it seriously at first because we thought it was just a wound from playing outside. Months passed, but it was still bleeding. That's when we decided to take him to the vet for a check-up.
I was in the cinema when my sister and mom went to the vet with Ikoy. I still remember that I was watching Pitch Perfect 2, to be exact. I received a text message saying, "Ikoy has cancer in his private part, and there is no cure. It can spread from animal to people that's why the vet suggested to have a 'Euthanasia' injection – an injectable fluid that will stop a dog's heart and is painless when done properly."
My body went numb, and my mom sent me the last photos of Ikoy with them. I didn't know what to feel at that moment. I just replied, "Okay."
When I got home, everyone was quiet, and my mom was crying. I felt sad because starting from that moment, no one would give us a warm welcome when we came home from a tiring day at school and work. No one would wake us up when we overslept, and no one would knock on the door when he was left outside.
The most painful part was that Ikoy didn't have any symptoms. He was energetic as ever. It was just the bleeding that wouldn't stop coming from his private part.
To all the fur parents out there, this serves as a lesson to us. If your baby has something unusual in their body that needs to be checked by a professional, don't hesitate to have it checked.
Here is the last and the clearest photo of our Ikoy.
Although it has been 9 years, the pain is still present as I write this blog. However, I find comfort in knowing that he is now enjoying the company of many of his fellow pups above. 🕊
Run free baby! 🐕

smut under the cut, enjoy may! ;)
“Those dishes won’t clean themselves if they just sit there you know”
This is the third time you’ve seen the same pile of dishes sat on his desk. The food that was in them long gone and the remnants drying on the sides, honestly you wouldn’t be surprised if mould was growing in them. You knew eren was messy before you were in a relationship with him but this is something else. You’d usually just clean the mess up yourself or put it down to him being busy with college and work.
But it’s now day three and the exact same dishes still sit on top of his desk and it’s getting ridiculous.
Right now, eren is immersed in some shooter game and he takes a quick glance at the mess on his desk saying something about how he’ll do it later cause he’s busy right now. That’s exactly how these things usually go and it’s really starting to get on your nerves.
You’ve lost count of the amount of times you’ve picked up after him not saying a word and feeling like a maid but this is the last straw. You knew you’d snap sooner or later.
“You say that every time eren, but how long to you expect me to pick up after you? I’m not your maid, you’re a fucking adult now so act like one.”
You’re serious tone has his attention on you, game paused and headphones resting on his shoulders as he looks up at you. Wow you really are angry, he can practically see the steam rising off of you. Your anger puzzles him, it’s just one pile of dishes he’ll clean it when he’s finished so why are you so angry? but it’s kinda hot. Seeing you all hot and bothered and telling him what to do is turning him on and he can’t stop the way it makes the blood rush to his dick even if he wanted to.
He almost forgets what you’re talking about cause all he can focus on is your lips and they way they move with your words. They look so plump and soft and eren reckons they’d feel so good on his right about now.
Eren rarely takes arguments like these seriously, but how could he, when your top is a little see through and he can tell you aren’t wearing a bra by the way he can see the outlines of your perky breasts.
“Don’t look at me like that eren, I’m not in the mood”
Oh but you are, you haven’t seen him for a week with all the finals going on and you could never study together cause that always leads to erens fingers deep inside your gummy walls, swallowing your moans as your text books are shoved off the bed. And eren knows this with the way your nipples harden at his lustful gaze.
He sits up at your words, body towering over yours, hair half tied up and framing his face, little tendrils that beg to be threaded through your fingers and you feel your authority falter when he looks at you the way he always does. God he’s so fucking beautiful it’s annoying.
“I know your mad and I’ll change baby I swear”
He reaches over to you then, hand cupping your jaw and rubbing little circles into the skin there. His other hand lands over his heart and he gives you those puppy dog eyes and you can tell he’s sincere AND turned on by all this. He is such a little fucker and he always manages to get away with murder when touches you like that, words like honey dripping from his lips as he tries to change the subject.
“please baby forgive me, let me make you forget you were mad at me, let me make it up to you, I’ll make you feel good I promise”
The hand cupping your jaw trails down over your shoulders and pushes slightly at the fabric of your shirt. His lips attach themselves to your neck, pressing light kisses to your skin and you can feel how hot and wet his tongue is, finding it difficult to concentrate and wishing it’d be somewhere else right now.
And within seconds, you couldn’t even remember your name let alone what led to this. Erens head is nestled between your thighs and he’s deliciously lapping at your needy folds. The lewd slurping sounds coming from below you seem to bounce off the walls and fill your head as you try to keep your heavy lids open. You want to see his cum soaked face and how it glistens in the dim light of his room, you want to watch as he moans at your taste, groaning against your pussy as you cum all over him for the third time.
And the way he grinds into the mattress, the way he’s getting off just by eating you out has you cumming once again, erens name falling from your lips over and over again like a prayer.
His hands smooth over your hips, up and over your stomach to land on your breasts, fingertips giving your nipples a good squeeze as you rut against his face. He eats pussy like a fucking god, tongue relentlessly diving in and out of your folds as he collects your juices and swallows all you give him. His nose nudges against your puffy abused clit with every grind of your hips and you can’t even think let alone talk with the way he slurps you up.
Eren is good to you, he really is, making sure to look after you in every way possible and he hates it, fucking hates it, when his baby is mad at him. So best believe he is gonna do all that he can to chase away the anger and be the best boyfriend he can be. And that’s exactly what he does, making sure you are completely and utterly satisfied.
He feels he’s done what he promised when you’re a quivering mess above him, moaning and eyes fluttering shut with the pleasure and you’ve completely forgotten why you were mad in the first place.
A sheen of sweat coats your skin as you crash back down to earth. You’re lying on his bed and when he looks up at you, the biggest fucking smirk on his face and eyes full to the bed with love, you can feel you’re anger fleeting.
Eren wipes the mess you made from his lips and makes sure those dishes are gone and clean before you even have a chance to put your clothes back on.

🍃🕊🍃 Question 22: The Original Sin of Adam and Eve
Question: Did Adam commit a sin? What about the question of the infallibility of the Divinely sent prophets?
🍃 Brief Answer
In reply to the above question, three issues must be examined. However, it is necessary to note the fact that the absolute infallibility of the infallibles (ع)—i.e., the prophets and the Imams—is the consequence of their luminous and lofty spiritual and existential stations in the order of existence. They are the hidden rays of Divine effusion; the perfect manifestations and the clear signs of the Beauty and Majesty of the Truth. The clay of their bodies and the form of their souls were moulded by both of the Divine arms—i.e., Divine Beauty and Majesty—and so they were taught the reality of the Divine Names and Attributes in pre-eternity in the world of the Unseen. They have always enjoyed the friendship of God, the Exalted; they see themselves in the perpetual presence of God, and it is precisely this sense of presence that precludes the committing of sin, although they are still capable of it.
As regards the question of the infallibility of the prophets (ع), there are conflicting views among Muslim sects. However the main positions can be organized into five groups:
1. The prophets (ع) are infallible vis-à-vis the major sins but might commit the minor sins. Moreover, they are bestowed with infallibility at reaching adulthood. This is the view espoused by the majority of the Mu’tazilites.
2. They are infallible vis-à-vis the deliberate perpetration of sin but are prone to the inadvertent commission of sin. Moreover, the prophets are bestowed with infallibility after being appointed to prophethood. This view is held by Abu ‘Ali Jiba`i.
3. The prophets are infallible vis-à-vis all sins except those committed inadvertently. They will, however, be punished for such sins, although the common folk are not liable in such cases. This discrepancy is due to the height of the prophets’ spiritual station. This view is embraced by Nazzam and those who follow his school of thought.
4. Prophets are susceptible to the commission of sin, any type of sin, whether major or minor, and whether intentional or unintentional. This is the view embraced by Hashawiyyah and a number of the traditionalists (ahl al-hadith).
5. Prophets are absolutely infallible in regard to all types of sin, whether major or minor, and whether intentional or unintentional. This is the view espoused by the Imamiyyah, the Shi’ites. According to the Shi’ite school of thought, the prophets are endowed with infallibility even before they are appointed to prophethood. The only negative deed that they might perform is acting in opposition to what is encouraged (but not mandatory) or what is more meritorious.
The Imamiyyah support their belief by a number of arguments, three of which will be mentioned here.
1. If they were to commit sins that would indicate their inferiority to the lowest of people, as the knowledge which they possess of the Creator is not available to others. Hence, considering the knowledge which has been bestowed to them regarding Allah (awj) and the reality of sin and disobedience to the command of the Lord—if they were to sin, they would be the most sordid of sinners.
2. The commission of sin by the prophets would pose a dilemma to the believers. For, as Divine messengers they aught to be obeyed, but as sinners, their obedience would not be permissible. Thus such a scenario would entail the coincidence of obligation and prohibition, i.e., the concurrence of two opposites, which is impossible.
3. The purpose of the Divine mission of the prophets is to serve as exemplars to be obeyed, to instruct their societies, and to dissuade the believers from sin. If the commission of sin be possible for the prophets that would translate into their people’s lack of trust in them—a trust which is necessary in order to advance their mission, hence defeating the purpose of their mission. And such is unbecoming and thus impossible in respect to the Wise Lord.
The infallibility of the prophets and the Imams (ع) derives from their complete knowledge and direct witness of the unseen realities (which is due to their Divinely inspired theoretical intellects) which prevents them from committing sin (and this aspect can be attributed to their Divinely reinforced practical intellects). In this light it becomes clear that their infallibility is a volitional matter due to their Divine knowledge of what is permissible and what is not and of vice and virtue.
The second issue is the location of Adams’s (ع) residence prior to his banishment to earth. Was it the promised Paradise of the Hereafter or a terrestrial heaven? Some are of the opinion that it was the promised Paradise. Although Paradise does not accommodate obligation, but this does not pose a problem in the case of Adam and Eve (ع), for the eternal residence in Paradise is the result of acquired eligibility, which was lacking in their case.
But there are several problems with this view. Firstly, if he resided in Paradise which does not accommodate obligation, then why does the Qur`an state that he disobeyed Allah (awj)? And how was Satan capable of disobedience? Secondly, if it were Paradise, then Satan would not have had access to it? Thirdly, the consumption of all the bounties of Paradise is permissible and Allah (awj) does not prohibit anything there, while Adam (ع) had been prohibited from eating the fruit of the forbidden tree.
Therefore, it seems that the correct view is that he was in a terrestrial paradise. This view is actually substantiated by hadiths which specify that it was a garden in this world, pointing out that Adam and Eve (ع) would even witness the setting of the sun and the moon. There are however contradicting hadiths indicating that the place of their residence was in a heavenly location. This contention is corroborated by the usage of the word hubut in speaking of the banishment, which denotes descending from a higher level to a lower level.
The third issue is in regard to Adam and Eve’s (ع) deed: whether they committed a sin or not? There are three positions on this question, two of which are the more important. The first position is that, firstly, it was a minor sin, and secondly, it preceded Adam’s (ع) prophethood, and hence the station of prophethood was not violated. Several reasons have been cited in support of this position, among them: the verses that deal with this issue clearly indicate the sinful nature of the deed, for the word ‘isyan occurs in them, which in the Qur`an is employed only in the sense of sin. Moreover, there is no reason to believe that the command addressed to Adam prohibiting the consumption of the fruit in question (“la taqraba”) was an advisory warning. And furthermore, it does not make sense that Adam (ع) repented on account of disregarding an advice.
The other position—which seems to be the correct one of the two—is that Adam (ع) was in fact a prophet when committing the deed in question, for Jibra`il would visit him and the visitation of Jibra`il indicates prophethood, for he does not visit anyone but prophets. This point is strengthened by the fact that Allah (awj) taught Adam (ع) all the “names” and it was only he that knew them and not even the angels had that knowledge. On that account, Adam (ع) was appointed teacher to the angels, bestowing to them the knowledge of the “names”. All these incidents were prior to Adam’s (ع) eating from the forbidden tree. Hence, it can be inferred that Adam (ع) was in fact a prophet when he committed the deed in question.
The problem is that according to the Shi’a school of thought, prophets are absolutely infallible and are even free of minor sins. Thus, the prohibition must be interpreted as an advisory warning and so Adam’s (ع) guilt was neglecting that which was more meritorious. But since prophets are at a high station of Divine knowledge, they are guilty even in the case of neglecting what is more meritorious. This is witnessed also in the stories of Yunus (ع) (when he became angry with his tribe and lost all hope in guiding them and so abandoned them without asking permission from Allah (awj), whereat Allah (awj) confined him to the belly of a whale, where if he had not become contrite and repented, he would have remained till the Day of Judgment)1 and Yusuf (ع) (when he sought help from an inmate instead of Allah (awj) for deliverance from prison).
Although it should be noted that neglecting the more meritorious of deeds does not warrant punishment in the case of the ordinary people, for “The righteous deeds of the good folk are the sins of those brought nigh to Him.” It is for this reason that the midnight prayer was obligatory for the Prophet while it was an encouraged act for everyone else. It is thus that the laypeople’s performance of rituals, which is fraught with distraction and negligence, is inappropriate in the case of the prophets of Allah (awj).
According to this position, ‘isyan must be construed as “opposing the word of the Lord”. “Word” could either apply to what is obligatory or otherwise something just encouraged. Hence, the claim that the usage of ‘isyan in the sense of ignoring that which is encouraged is inaccurate loses ground. Furthermore if in fact ‘isyan literally denotes disobeying a command, in this case because of the presence of irrefutable proofs it must be interpreted accordingly.
The word ghawa in the verse in question2 denotes harm and loss, for if Adam (ع) had abstained from eating from the forbidden tree, he would have deserved a great reward. And repentance in his case was not for redressing a sin, rather for a deed that was unbecoming of his status. This must be complemented by the fact that repentance is not always for rectifying a sin. It is, however, always efficacious in severing the chains of bondage to other than Allah (awj), thus meriting a great reward, although one might not be sinful.
But as regards to why he was not banned from consuming the forbidden tree after banishment or as to whether he regained his original status, first the meaning of the “tree” and its consumption must be understood. There are two possibilities as to the meaning of the “tree”: It was either a concrete plant—such as wheat, fig, camphor, etc.—or a spiritual reality. In the latter case, it could not have been the “tree of knowledge” as some have contended, for he was the most knowledgeable creature after Allah (awj), to the extent that he became the teacher of the angels.
Another possibility is that it was the tree of jealousy, which would have to be understood as an inclination toward a positive thing owned by someone else, not the prevalent form of jealousy, for it would be in conflict with the status of prophethood. It has been suggested that his jealousy was in seeing the status of the Prophet of Islam, ‘Ali, Fatima, Hasan, and Husayn (ع) and realizing his inferiority. This is a more likely possibility as jealousy is even now a detestable trait condemned by God. It has been stated in a hadith that jealousy devours one’s faith even as fire consumes a cotton ball.
If however the “tree” refers to a concrete tree, it must be said that it is not wrong for the ruling on a subject to be different in differing times and locations. For instance, in the very early years of Islam, Muslims were directed to pray facing Jerusalem. That changed later on and they were commanded to pray facing the Ka’bah.
Or consider the case of consuming the corpse of an animal not slain according to the prescribed rite, where in normal circumstances it is forbidden while it has been allowed—or depending on the case obligated—in the case of an emergency to save a starving person from death. To turn back to the story of Adam (ع), eating from the forbidden tree was prohibited in that particular time and place but permissible at other times and locations. Furthermore, if Adam (ع) was banished to earth, it was as the direct result of eating from that tree, and so that deed was injurious only in the celestial realm and not on earth.
We would like to close this essay by noting that if the dear readers are interested; this topic can be pursued at a higher level.
🍃 Detailed Answer
In order to arrive at the answer, a few preliminary points must be considered. It must first be pointed out that the Divine prophets and their deputies enjoy lofty spiritual and existential stations in the order of existence. They are the hidden rays of Divine effusion; the complete manifestations and clear signs of the Beauty and Majesty of the Truth. The clay of their bodies and the forms of their souls were moulded by the might of both of the Divine arms—Beauty and Majesty—and were taught the reality of the Divine Names and Attributes in the pre-eternal world of the Unseen.
The second point that must be addressed is in regard to the question of infallibility. There are a range of views in this regard, among them:
1. They are infallible vis-à-vis the major sins but are vulnerable to the minor sins;
2. They are vulnerable to both major and minor sins;
3. They do not commit sins intentionally but may do so by mistake;
4. They are absolutely infallible.
The final view, which is the correct one, is that of the Shi’a and is supported by a variety of reasons, one of which is that if they were vulnerable to sin, it would defy the purpose of their mission, for in that case the masses would not be willing to trust and follow them; such a scenario runs contrary to the wisdom of the Omniscient Lord.
Now the cause of their infallibility is their all-encompassing knowledge of obedience and disobedience, of what is permitted and what is forbidden, and generally speaking of vice and virtue (or in a word, their theoretical intellect) that keeps them from sinning (which is carried out by the faculty of the practical intellect).
A relevant question in the context of Adam’s (ع) sin is where Adam (ع) resided before banishment. It could not have been the promised Paradise; for, firstly, as asserted in the Divine Text leaving Paradise is not possible; secondly, Satan is not allowed in Paradise, and finally, there are no restrictions on the consumption of any fruit in Paradise.
The last point meriting mention in this context is in regard to the nature of Adam’s (ع) error. One of the posited explanations is that it was not a sin but a neglect of what was more meritorious (tark awla); for, firstly, prophets are infallible; secondly, considering the lofty station of the prophets, it would not be inappropriate for them to be upbraided on account of neglecting what is more meritorious—hence, the adage, “The righteous deeds of the good folk are the sins of those brought nigh to Him;” thirdly, neglecting the more meritorious has in fact occurred among the prophets—as in the story of Yunus (ع)—and so is a likely possibility.
But as to the question of why Adam and Eve (ع) were not forbidden from the consumption of the forbidden fruit on earth as they were in the Garden of Eden, there are several possible explanations. It is possible that the forbidden tree was an actual tree, a plant, the consumption of which entailed banishment from the heavenly life that they were enjoying, and as such there would have been no reason for the prohibition of that tree on earth. And as elucidated in the appropriate place, religious directives vary based on location, time, and other particular circumstances.
Another possibility is that the tree in question was a spiritual reality. In this case, that tree was either the tree of knowledge, which is of course not defensible as it is contradictory to definitive Qur`anic and traditional principles. For, as related in the Qur`an, Adam (ع) was not only not restricted in the acquisition of knowledge but in fact he was taught all the “names” thus becoming the teacher of the angels.
Another possibility is that the tree is a metaphorical allusion to the trait of envy. Of course since Adam (ع) was a messenger of God, the envy in question should be construed as a sort of longing, possibly a longing for the spiritual station of the Prophet of Islam, ‘Ali, Fatima, Hasan, and Husayn (ع). Also in this context it may refer to the condemnation of jealousy before entering this world.

🍃🕊🍃 Korah’s (Qarun) Ruin
Surah Al-Qasas - Verse 76
“Verily Korah was of the people of Moses, but he oppressed them; and We had given him of the treasures so much that its keys would have been a burden to a company of men endowed with strength. Once his people said to him: ‘Do not exult, for Allah does not love the exultant’.”
Mentioning the historical examples is a gazing-stock for the coming generations.
Having a good background is not a proof for being good in the future or renunciation of the present deviations.
The wonderful story life of Moses (as) and his struggle against Pharaoh was explained in a part of former verses of this Surah, and what had to be said about them was stated sufficiently.
In another part of the verses of this Surah, the struggle of the Children of Israel against a rich arrogant man among them called Korah is referred to. He was a wealthy man who was the manifestation of wealth accompanied with pride, deceit, and contumacy.
In principle, during his lifetime, Moses (as) struggled against three important oppressive tyrannical powers: Pharaoh, who was the sample of governmental power, Korah, who was the manifestation of wealth, and Sameri, who was the example of art, deceit, and elusion.
Although the most important struggle of Moses (as) was against the governmental power, the recent two struggles have importance for themselves and contain some great instructive lessons.
It is said that Korah was a close relative of Moses (as), (his cousin (son of a paternal uncle), or uncle, or son of his maternal aunt); and, from the point of information, he had a considerable knowledge about the matters of Torah.
At first he was one of the believers, but, later, pride and wealth drew him towards disbelief and sent him into the depth of the ground, made him fight against the messenger of Allah, and his amazing death became a lesson for all. The explanation of this event will be discussed later in the concerning verse.
The Quran says:
“Verily Korah was of the people of Moses, but he oppressed them…”
The cause of this oppression and disobedience was that he had obtained a great deal of wealth, and since he had not enough capacity and strong faith, this abundant wealth deceived him and drew him towards deviation and arrogance.
The Quran continues saying:
“…and We had given him of the treasures so much that its keys would have been a burden to a company of men endowed with strength…”
The Arabic word /mafatih/ is the plural form of /maftah/ in the sense of ‘a place wherein something is stored’, like the chests that properties are stored up in them.
Thus, the concept of the verse is that Korah had so much gold, silver and precious properties that a group of strong men could move its box with difficulty.
And, regarding that the Arabic word/‘usbah/ means a body of men (from ten to forty) who are with together and are strong enough and they have held each other like nerves, makes it clear that how heavy the jewels and precious properties of Korah had been.
The term /tanu’/ is derived from /nu’/ which means: to raise with difficulty and heavily, and it is used for a heavy burden that when a man is carrying it, because of heaviness, it causes him to sway this side and that side.
What was said in the above about the Arabic term /mafatih/ is something that a very large group of commentators and lexicologists have accepted, while some other commentators have said that the term /mafatih/ is the plural form of /miftah/ which means key. They say that the keys of the treasures of Korah were so heavy that several strong men could carry them with difficulty.
Those who have chosen this meaning have got in trouble to themselves to adjust it that how it is possible to be so many keys of treasures, and, however, the first commentary is more clear and more correct.
Now, it is better to see what the Children of Israel told Korah. The Holy Quran implicitly says: remember when his people told him not to have so much joy flourished with pride, negligence and arrogance, because Allah does not like the proud exultant.
The verse says:
“…Once his people said to him: ‘Do not exult, for Allah does not love the exultant’.”
Surah Al-Qasas
(verse 77)
“And seek by means of what Allah has given you, the abode of the Hereafter, and do not forget your portion in this world, and be good (to others) just as Allah has been good to you, and do not seek to make mischief in the land, verily Allah does not love the mischief-makers.”
Every body ought to suffice to his own share in this world and let the rest for Hereafter. Wealth and property can become a means for the prosperity in Hereafter.
In this verse, next to the advice mentioned in the previous holy verse, there are four other expressive and instructive exhortations here for Korah which form a complete five-ring collection.
At first, it says:
“And seek by means of what Allah has given you, the abode of the Hereafter…”
It points to the fact that, in spite of the imagination of some ill-disposed persons, wealth and property is not a bad thing; the important thing is that we must see in which way it is used. If it is applied in the way of seeking the good abode of the Hereafter, what is better than that? If it is a mean of pride, negligence, injustice, oppression, and sensuality, what, then, can be worse than it?
This is the same logic that Amir-ul-Mu’minin Ali’s (as) famous sentence reminds about the world.
He said:
“…If one sees through it (the world), it would bestow him sight, but if one has his eye on it, it would blind him.”1
And Korah was a person who had the power of performing a lot of social good affairs with those abundant properties he had; what was use of it when his pride did not let him see the facts?
By the second advice, it is added that he should decrease his portion from this world: the verse says:
“…and do not forget your portion in this world…”
This is a fact that every person has a proper limit share of this world, viz., the amount of properties he uses for his body, clothing, and residence is a definite amount, and the additional ones are never consumed by him; therefore, one must not forget this fact.
How much food can a person eat? How many pieces of clothing can he wear? How many houses and how many cars can he have? And how many shrouds does he take with him when he dies? The rest, however, is the share of others and man is the depositary of them.
How nice Hadrat Amir-ul-Mu’minin Ali (as) stated when he said:
“O’ son of Adam! Whatever you earn beyond your basic needs you will only keep vigil over it for others.”2
There is another interpretation upon the abovementioned sentence cited in Islamic narrations and the statements of the commentators which adapts to the above interpretation and, perhaps, both of them are its purpose.
It is that Ma‘any-ul-’Akhbar, narrates from Amir-ul-Mu’minin Ali (as) who upon the commentary of the Qur’anic sentence:
“…do not forget your portion in this world…”
said:
“Do not forget your health and strength, and your opportunity, and your youth, and your mirth, and by means of these (five bounties) seek out the Hereafter.”3
According to this commentary of the holy verse, the abovementioned statement is a warning to all human beings that they should not lose the opportunities and capitals, because they pass on like cloud.
The third advice is as follows:
“…and be good (to others) just as Allah has been good to you…”
This is also a fact that one must always expect the good of Allah and ask for any kind of goodness and all kinds of expectation from Him. In this condition, how can he ignore the explicit demand of others and pass by all of these clear things inattentively?
In other words, as Allah has bestowed them to you, you ought to bestow (some of them) to others. A similar meaning to this is mentioned in Surah An-Nur, (no. 24, verse 22) in connection with forgiveness and remittal.
It says:
“…And they should pardon and overlook. Do you not like that Allah should forgive you?…”
This sentence can be rendered like this that sometimes Allah gives man some great bounties so that he does not need them all in his personal life. Allah gives him a powerful wisdom which is useful not only for running a person but also for running a country.
He gives him knowledge that not only an individual but also a society can take benefit from it. He gives him a wealth which is appropriate for great social programs.
The implication of these kinds of Divine merits is that the totality of them does not belong to you, but you are the agent of Allah in giving them to others. Allah has bestowed this merit on you that He manages His servants by your hand.
Finally, the fourth advice is as follows:
“…and do not seek to make mischief in the land, verily Allah does not love the mischief-makers.”
This is also a fact that many of the faithless rich people, sometimes as the result of the madness of avariciousness and sometimes because of self-superiority, commit mischief and draw the society into deprivation and poverty.
They usually take everything in their own authority. They wish people to be some servants and slaves for them, and whoever protests they try to destroy him, and if they cannot, they desert him through slander by means of their secret agents. Thus, they draw the society towards corruption and decadence.
Now it is understood that these advisers tried, at first, to break the pride of Korah.
In the second stage, they warned him that the world is a means, not an aim.
In the third stage, they warned him that he could use only a small part of what he had.
In the fourth stage, they reminded him this fact that he should not forget Allah had been good to him, then he had to be good to others either, else his merits would be taken from him.
In the fifth stage, they told him to avoid making mischief in the earth, which is the direct result of former four principles.
It is not completely definite that who these exhorters were but it is certain that they were some knowledgeable, pious, aware, exact, and brave men.
Some commentators have thought that probably Moses (as) himself did it but it is very improbable, because the Quran in previous verse says:
“…When his people said to him…”.
Surah Al-Qasas
(verse 78)
“Said he (Korah): ‘I have been given this (wealth) only because of a knowledge that is in me.’ Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations that were mightier in strength than he and greater in amassing (wealth)? And (then even) the guilty shall not be asked about their sins.”
To boast for one’s knowledge is a manner of people like Korah.
The pride for having knowledge changes man so selfish that he accepts the function of no one and nothing any more:
“…‘I have been given this (wealth) only because of a knowledge that is in me’…”
We must think of wealth and power as Divine bounties, not the fruit of our own knowledge and effort.
With that very state of pride and haughtiness, which originates from his abundant wealth, Korah used to say as the Quran announces:
“Said he (Korah): ‘I have been given this (wealth) only because of a knowledge that is in me.’…”
Korah used to say implicitly that it was not their business that what he did with his wealth. He said he did not need any one to guide him how to use his wealth, because he himself obtained it with his own knowledge and awareness.
Moreover, Korah implicitly added that certainly Allah knew him eligible of having wealth that He had given it to him and He had also taught him the way of using it. Then, he said, he knew better than others what to do, and it was not necessary that they interfere in his affairs.
Besides all of these, I have taken trouble, tolerated pains, and was deeply afflicted in order to gather this wealth; why do they not also take trouble if they have eligibility and ability? I am not bothering them; and if they are poor, it is the better that they remain hungry until they die.
These are the decade and disgrace logics that many faithless wealthy people often express in reply to those who advise them.
This point is also worthy noting that the Qur’an has left this matter secret that in obtaining this wealth to which knowledge of his does Korah emphasize?
Is it the knowledge of alchemy, as some commentators have said?
Is it the knowledge of commerce, agriculture, and the arts of industry?
Or is it his special administration by which he could obtain that enormous wealth? Or it refers to all of them?
It is not improbable that the verse has a vast meaning and encompasses all of these things.
(It is not known, of course, that the knowledge of alchemy, the knowledge by which gold is made from copper and the like, is a fable or a reality.)
Here, the Quran gives a harsh answer to Korah and others like him.
It says:
“…Did he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations that were mightier in strength than he and greater in amassing (wealth)?…”
Korah says that whatever he has is by means of knowledge, but he has forgotten that there were many persons who were more knowledgeable, stronger and wealthier than him while they could not escape from the punishment of Allah.
The fair- minded ones of the Children of Israel had told Korah that it was Allah Who had given him that wealth but this impolite and bold man answered them:
“…‘I have been given this (wealth) only because of a knowledge that is in me’…”,
while Allah, in the above verse, manifests his strength in the fact of His Will.
At the end of the verse, he is warned again by a very short sentence, where it says:
“…And (then even) the guilty shall not be asked about their sins.”
In principle, there will not be any time for asking and answering. It is a decisive, painful, violent and sudden divine punishment.
That is, today the aware men of the Children of Israel advise Korah and give him respite to contemplate and give answer, but when the argument is completed and the Divine punishment comes, surely there will not be any respite for contemplation or uttering some vain and haughty words. As soon as the Divine punishment comes, they will be destroyed.
There will arise a question here inquiring that what is the objective of the question that the guilty are negated from? Is it in this world or in the next world?
Some of the commentators have chosen the first one while some others have taken the second, and there is no matter that both of them to be the objective of it; i.e. neither they will be asked in the world at the time of sudden punishment so that they bring some excuses and count them faultless, nor in the Hereafter, because in that place everything is manifest and as the Quran says:
“The guilty ones shall be recognized by their marks…”4
Thus the verse under discussion is consistent with the verse which says:
“And on that Day neither man nor jinn shall be asked about his sin.”5
There comes forth another question here which is not consistent with the holy verse that says:
“So, by your Lord, We shall surely question them all (in the Hereafter),”6
This question can also be answered in two forms: the first is that there are different places of standing in the Hereafter. In some of them the guilty are questioned while in some others every thing is clear and there is no need of questioning.
Another thing is that question is of two kinds: the question of investigation, and the question of blame. In the Hereafter there is no need of ‘the question of investigation’, because all things are manifest, but the reproach question is found there and this is a kind of punishment for the guilty.
It is just like the question that the father asks from his degenerate son and says:
“Did I not serve you so much? And was the recompense of those service treachery and corruption?”
(While both of them are aware of the affairs and the purpose of the father is to blame the son.)
Surah Al-Qasas
(verse 79)
“So he went forth unto his people in his adornment. Those who aspired for the life of this world said: ‘We wish we had like what Korah has been given! Verily he owns a great fortune’.”
When the power and wealth are in the hand of some negligent persons and they are the cause of boasting, gaudiness, and luxury; and showing the wealth and property to others boastingly, this manner is one of the qualities of Korah.
The boastful wealthy persons usually afflict with kinds of madness, one branch of which is ‘the madness of exhibiting wealth’. They take pleasure to show their own wealth to others. They feel peace of mind when they ride a good precious mount and pass through the crowd of the poor while, by making dust unto their faces, they despise them.
This showing wealth is often a calamity for their lives, because it fosters grudge in people’s hearts.
This evil action may have a motive such as: ‘Allurement of covetous persons’ and the like, but they do this deed even without this motive. This is a kind of desire, not a program and plan.
However, Korah was not an exception from this law, but he was considered as a clear example of it. The Quran has stated it a sentence in this verse.
It says:
“So he went forth unto his people in his adornment…”
The application of the Arabic word /fi/ (in) in the phrase: ‘in his adornment’ expresses this fact that he used all his own ability and power in order to show his final adornment and his ultimate wealth, and with no words, it is clear that how large activities he can do by this wealth.
Of course, there are many stories or legends cited in history upon this field which are not necessary to be mentioned.
But, as usual, here people were divided into two groups: 1) The majority of people who were some mammonish persons and when they saw that gazing scene, their hearts shook, and gasped moaning, and they wished they could be in the place of Korah, even for one day, or one hour, or one moment.
They thought what a sweet and attractive life they could have, and how a happy and pleasant world it were for them!
The Quran says:
“…Those who aspired for the life of this world said: ‘We wish we had like what Korah has been given! Verily he owns a great fortune’.”
They said that praise be upon Korah and upon his abundant wealth! What a rank and grandeur! And what a glory it is that history does not contain anything similar to that! This is a God-given glory…and some statements like them.
In fact, here the furnace of the trial of Allah became hot. From one side, Korah is in the middle of the furnace and he has to be examined for his arrogance; and, on the other side, the mammonists of the Children of Israel are around this furnace.
The painful punishment, of course, is the punishment that exists after such an exhibition and from that height he falls down into the depth of the ground.
Surah Al-Qasas
(verse 80)
“And those who were given (true) knowledge said: ‘Woe to you! Allah’s reward is better for him who believes and acts righteously, and none shall attain it save the patient’.”
The real knowledge draws man towards Hereafter, piety, and righteous deed. An aware learned man is he whom the dazzling glare of the world might not attract, and his manner can advise the mammonist ones and affect them.
However, besides this large group of mammonist, whom were referred to in the previous verse, there were also several learned, thoughtful, pious, and faithful people present there whose level of thought was above and superior than these affairs.
Those were some men who did not estimate the personality of their people with the criterion of gold and force. They were those who did not seek the values in the material potentialities, and always used to laugh at these kinds of exhibitions mockingly, and belittled these empty minds.
Yes, a group of such men attended there, as the Quran says:
“And those who were given (true) knowledge said: ‘Woe to you! Allah’s reward is better for him who believes and acts righteously…”
Then, they added:
“…and none shall attain it save the patient’.”
Those who prove steadfastness against exiting dazzling glare of the ornaments of the world; those who stand firm like mountains in the Divine trials for wealth, property, fear, and calamity, yes these ones are eligible for the Divine rewards.
It is certain that the purpose of the Quranic phrase:
“Those who were given (true) knowledge”
is the faithful learned men of the Children of Israel among whom there were some great men such as ‘Yusha‘’.
It is interesting that against the Quranic sentence:
“Those who aspired for the life of this world”,
mentioned in the previous verse, about the first group, the Quran does not apply the sentence:
“Those who aspired for the life of Hereafter”,
but it emphasizes only on ‘knowledge’, because ‘knowledge’ is the main origin and root of faith, steadfastness, eager and love to the Divine reward, and the abode of Hereafter.
By the way, the application of the sentence:
“Those who were given (true) knowledge”
is a severe answer to Korah who considered himself a knowledgeable one. The Quran implies that these are true knowledgeable whose level of thought is very high, not the arrogant, obstinate and proud Korah. Thus, we see that the origin and root of all blessings and bounties returns to real knowledge.
Surah Al-Qasas
(verse 81)
“And We caused the earth to swallow up him and his house, then for him there was no group to help him against (the wrath of) Allah, nor could he defend himself.”
Man can spiritually move alongside two curves: toward upward that he reaches ascension and toward downward that he goes down deeply into the lowliness.
The final end of amassing wealth is often miser, pride and destruction.
By this action, Korah caused his disobedience to reach its climax, but regarding this matter there has been recorded in history and narrations another event that is the sign of Korah’s ultimate impudence, it is as follows:
One day Moses (as) told Korah that Allah had commanded Moses to take the right of the needy (Zakat) of his property. Then Korah with a simple calculation understood how great amount of money he had to pay in this way. He refused it, and in order to exonerate himself, he struggled against Moses (as).
Once he stood among a rich group of the Children of Israel and said:
“O people! Moses has intended to devour your properties. He brought the command of prayer and you accepted it; you accepted all other things, too; do you also bear to give him your property?”
They said:
“No. But how can we stand against him?”
Here, Korah thought of a Satanic action. He said:
“I have thought a very good way for it. In my opinion, we must produce a file of the act of indecency for him. We must send for a bad woman among the prostitutes of the Children of Israel and tell her to go to Moses and accuse him that he had a liaison with her.”
They approved it and sent for that kind of woman and told her whatever she demanded they would give her for the act that she might attest that Moses had a liaison with her. The woman accepted that suggestion.
This was from one side, on the other side Korah went to Moses (as) and said it was better that he (as) would gather the Children of Israel and recite the commands of Allah for them. Moses (as) accepted it and gathered them in one place.
People said to Moses to reiterate the ordinances of his Lord. Moses said that He had commanded him that they should not worship any one other than Him, they should regard for kinship, and do so and so; and in regard for an adulterer He has ordered that if it was an adultery (fornication with a married one) he had to be stoned.
At this time, those rich people of the Children of Israel who had conspired said:
“Even if that man is you yourself!”
He (as) answered:
“Yes, if it is I myself.”
Here, they made their shamelessness that reached its climax and said:
“We know that you have committed this action yourself and you have associated with that woman who is a prostitute.”
Then, they immediately sent after that particular bad woman and told her to say her attestation. Moses addressed her and said:
“I administer you an oath by Allah to say the reality clearly.”
By hearing this statement, the bad woman shook severely, trembled and was touched at heart. She said:
“Now that you say so I tell the truth manifestly. These people invited me and promised to pay me a heavy reward that I accuse you; but I bear witness that you are pure and you are the messenger of Allah.”
Another narration indicates that that woman said:
“Woe on me! I have committed many wrong actions, but I have not denigrated the messenger of Allah.”
Then she showed the two purses of money that they had given her and said whatever was to say.
Moses (as) fell prostrated and wept, and it was then that the command of the punishment of Korah, the evildoer, was issued.
This very narration denotes that Allah gave the command of /xasf/ (swallow) at Moses disposal.7
In this regard, the Quran says:
“And We caused the earth to swallow up him and his house…”
Yes, when inordinacy contumacy and humiliation of the poor believers, as well as plotting against the pure messenger of Allah, reaches its peak, the Power of Allah works and puts an end to the life of the plotters. It destroys them so severely that their life becomes a gazing-stock for all.
The act of /xasf/, which here means: to sink, and being concealed into the earth, has happened many times during the history of man. It occurs when a horrible earthquake comes and the ground splits and swallows a city or some villages. But this one was different with other instances. Its main prey was only Korah, his house, and his treasures.
Strange! Pharaoh sinks in the waves of Nile; Korah sinks in the depth of the ground; water, which is the source of life, is commissioned to destroy the people of Pharaoh; and the ground, which is the place of comfort, becomes the graveyard of Korah and Korah-like people.
It is certain that Korah was not the only inhabitant of that house. It was he and his entourage; he and his confederates, he and his unjust cruel friends. All of those people sank into the depth of the ground.
The verse continues saying:
“…then for him there was no group to help him against (the wrath of) Allah, nor could he defend himself.”
Neither those who received rations from him, nor his loyal friends, nor his wealth and properties, could save him from the Divine punishment, and all of them sank into the ground.
Surah Al-Qasas
(verse 82)
“And (by seeing Korah’s annihilation) those who yearned for his position the day before were saying: ‘Ah! That Allah enlarges the sustenance for whomever He pleases, of His servants, or restricts it. Had not Allah been gracious to us, He might have made the earth swallow us, too. Ah! (know) that the unbelievers do not prosper’.”
Sometimes it happens that a supplication is not accepted or a desire is not obtained, and this very thing is the greatest grace and favour of Allah upon man.
This noble verse illustrates the surprising change of the spectators who yesterday were enraptured and rejoiced by seeing the glorious rank of Korah and desired that they were in his place forever, or at least, for a moment. This scene is, indeed, wonderful and instructive.
The verse says:
“And (by seeing Korah’s annihilation) those who yearned for his position the day before were saying: ‘Ah! That Allah enlarges the sustenance for whomever He pleases, of His servants, or restricts it…”
They said that it was proved for them that day that no one has anything from him and whatever exists is from the side of Allah. Neither His grant is the reason of His consent and pleasure from a person, nor his restriction is the reason for the absence of his value before the presence of Allah.
It is by means of these very properties that He puts individuals and nations under examination and makes their conducts and morals manifest.
Then, they thought that if Allah accepted their invocation and put them in the place of Korah yesterday, what could they do that day?
Therefore, they decided to thank for that bounty of Allah and said:
“…Had not Allah been gracious to us, He might have made the earth swallow us, too…”
“…Ah! (know) that the unbelievers do not prosper’.”
Now we see the truth with our own eyes and understand the result of pride and negligence as well as the end of disbelief and lust. We also realize that how terrible these kinds of lives are which have a charming landscape!
By the way, it is understood from the recent sentence of this story that the end of proud Korah was that he died with infidelity and faithlessness, though one day he was in the row of the readers of Torah and was counted among the learned men of the Children of Israel, and he was one of the close relatives of Moses (as).
Some points
The story of Korah, the sample of a proud rich man, has been stated in the Quran through seven verses in a very interesting way, and it removes the curtain from the facts of many lives of human beings.
This story makes it clear that the pride and lust of wealth sometimes draws man towards kinds of madness; the madness of exhibiting the wealth and showing it to others, and the madness of taking delight from despising the poor.
And also the same pride and unlimited love to gold and silver sometimes causes man to commit the most hideous and shameful sins. For example, he stands against the pure prophet of Allah, and struggles against the Truth, and even he charges the most shameless accusations to the most sincere men, and he may even use of his wealth in taking from some bad women to reach his aim.
Pride originated from wealth usually does not let man to hearken the advice of some godly advisers and the benevolent statements.
They have provided this imaginary splendid life while in their city, and sometimes on their close neighbourhood, there are some deprived persons who usually sleep hungry at night; and it is surprising that their conscience has become so feeble that they do not feel the least inconvenience from this painful situation.
Sometimes their animals have the most comfortable life, and they enjoy even the existence of teacher, physician, and proper medicine while there are some oppressed people living in their neighbourhood who have the worst conditions of life; or they are sick, moaning in the bed because of pain while they have neither a physician nor any medicine.
When we discuss these affairs about some particular persons in a society, and sometimes about a particular country, it means that it is a country as that of Korah opposite to other countries, of the world, as we see, in our time, about America and many counties of Europe.
They have provided the most glorious life for themselves by exploitation of the people of the third world and those of poor countries, so that sometimes their extra food stuffs are wasted and if they were gathered in a correct way, they would be enough to satiate millions of hungry men. Sometimes they even pour their extra wheat into the sea.
When we say ‘poor countries’ it does not mean that they are really poor, but they are, in fact, some thief-stricken and robbed people. Sometimes the best and the most valuable mains are in their disposal, but these great plunders take all of those precious capitals and cause them to be poor.
These are some people with qualities of Korah who have built the foundation of their castles of cruelty upon the ruin houses of the oppressed; and the situation of the world will be in the same form unless the oppressed of the world unite and send them, like Korah, to the depth of the ground. Those oppressors drink wine and laugh joyfully while these oppressed ones must always be sad and do weep.
Of course, it must not be considered from what was said that Islam has a negative position in the face of wealth and opposes it. It must not be understood that Islam admires the poor and invites Muslims to poverty or takes it as a means for reaching the spiritual accomplishments.
On the contrary, Islam emphasizes on wealth as an effective means, and in Surah Al-Baqarah, No. 2, verse 180 wealth has been rendered into /xayr/ (goodness).
Imam al-Baqir (as) has said:
“The world is a good help for obtaining the Hereafter.”8
The verses under discussion, which reproach the proud rich Korah the most severely, is an expressive evidence for this subject; but Islam approves a wealth by which the abode of Hereafter can be sought, as the learned men of the Children of Israel told Korah:
“And seek by means of what Allah has given you, the abode of the Hereafter…”9.
Islam approves a wealth in which there is good unto all and it contains the meaning of:
“…be good (to others) just as Allah has been good to you…”10
Islam admires a wealth in which this meaning is seen that the Qur’an says:
“…and so not forget your portion in this world…”11
Finally, Islam seeks for a wealth which is not the cause of mischief on the earth, forgetting the human values, being involved in the race of amassing wealth and ‘multiplication of properties and children,’ and does not draw man toward ‘self-admiration’ and ‘humiliating others’, and even opposing the Divine prophets.
Wealth must be a means for the benefit of others, for filling the present economic gaps, for using as a remedy upon the worrying wounds of the deprived and applying for removing the needs and difficulties of the oppressed.
Being interested in such a wealth, with such aims, it is not an attachment to the world; it is an attachment to the Hereafter. As it is said in a tradition that one of the companions of Imam Sadiq (as) came to him and said as a grievance that they were after the world and were interested in it, (and they were afraid of becoming mammonists).
Imam al-Sadiq (as) (who knew the purity and virtue of that man) said:
“What do you want to do with this wealth of the world?”
The man answered:
“I want to supply the expenditure of myself and my household, help my relatives, spend in the way of Allah, and perform pilgrimage (Hajj) and lesser pilgrimage (‘Umrah).”
Imam al-Sadiq (as) said:
“This is not to seek the world, this is to seek the Hereafter.”
Here, the corruption of the belief of two groups is made manifest: a group of people who are apparently Muslims but they are unaware of the teachings of Islam and introduce Islam as the supporter of the tyrant oppressors; and a group of self-interested enemies who want to show the feature of Islam wrongly and try to introduce it as a religion opposite to wealth and adherent of poverty.
They want to say in principle, a poor nation cannot live freely and honourably; poverty is the means of dependence; poverty is the source of disgrace both in this world and the next; and poverty invites man to sin and pollution.
A tradition from Imam al-Sadiq (as) says:
“The needlessness that hinders you from injustice (and violating others’ right) is better than the poverty that makes you commit sin.”12
The Islamic communities must try and do their best to become rich and needless from others (none Islamic nations), so much that they become independent and stand on their own feet. As the result of poverty, they must not devote their modesty, honour and independence for depending on others, and know that this is the noble line of Islam.

🍃🕊🍃 Question 41: Pure Wine in the Quran
Question: What is the “sharaban tahuran” mentioned in the Quran (sometimes translated as “pure wine”)?
“Sharab” means something which can be drunk. It has been used in the Quran with this meaning.
“Many fruits and drinks are at their disposal.”1
Allah (SWT) also says,
“He sends down water from the sky from which you drink.”2
The word “Tahur” means that which is in itself pure and uncontaminated and which also makes other things pure, just as He says in the Quran,
“We sent down purifying water from heaven.”3
We can gather from various verses that in heaven there are various kinds of drinks that are pure4 and refreshing. The liquids that flow in the riverbeds of heaven differ from the drinks of this world not only in their substance but also in their qualities. This is because the rivers of this world only flow with water and after a while their water becomes rancid. But the rivers of heaven are special in both regards.
The Noble Quran points to four kinds of liquid that flow in four different riverbeds in heaven: the river of water that quenches thirst; the river of milk that satiates hunger; the river of honey that gives pleasure and strength; and the river of wine for happiness.5 These liquids have been created in such a way that the passing of time does not corrupt them. In other verses an indication is made to a drink called “Rahiq Makhtum”6 or that which is mixed with camphor7 or zanjabil8. In one verse mention is made of a pure drink9 that the Lord will give; the saqi, or cupbearer, being Allah (SWT) himself.
We can summarize the viewpoints of Quranic commentators regarding the special “wine” of heaven into three basic views:
1. The meaning of “pure drink” is a type of drink which the people of heaven drink after eating heavenly food. It cleans all inner wastes. Only perspiration is excreted by the body which gives off a beautiful fragrance. This is a materialistic interpretation of the blessings of heaven with the difference that what is found there is better and more long-lasting than what is found here. The traditions10 and verses of the Quran have described the drinks of heaven in the most beautiful of ways with the most extraordinary cupbearers who revolve around the people of heaven and give them an intensely white drink in which there is no corruption of the mind and by which they do not become inebriated.11
2. The meaning behind the aforementioned drink is spiritual blessings. In the Quranic commentary, al-Mizan, there are indications that this “pure drink” cleans one spiritually from forgetfulness of Allah (SWT) and removes the curtains and barriers between us and Him.
As narrated from Imam Jafar b. Muhammad al-Sadiq (ع),
“When the believer drinks the ‘pure drink’ he forgets everything other than Allah and turns solely towards his Master.”12
In the Quranic commentary, Ayab al-Bayan, it is written that the “pure drink” cleans the hearts of the good from evil attributes and bad ethical traits and from the imaginary desires and from all sadness and misery.
In a narration from Imam Muhammad b. Ali al-Baqir (ع), he mentions that
“When the believers drink from it Allah cleans their hearts from envy.”13
Some great personalities have said that since drawing ourselves in the love of Allah (awj) and cutting off all ties from other than Allah (SWT) is the ultimate purity, everything which lacks that, lacks the quality of purity. This is a general principle and is one of the pearls of wisdom of the noble family of the Prophet (ع). Its message has been communicated by Imam Jafar b. Muhammad al-Sadiq (ع) when he said:
“This drink cleans their bodies and their souls from other than that Pure Essence. It is only That Noble Essence of Allah and His remembrance that cleans man from impurities.”14
3. It can be gathered from some Quranic commentaries that they have attempted to combine the above two viewpoints. They say that since man is a combination of lowly mud and the Spirit of Allah (SWT), he needs not only material sustenance but also spiritual blessings.
Just as the spiritual wayfaring of people differs, so do the rewards they receive in heaven. Some like the good taste of the refreshing drink of “Rahiq Makhtum” and are satiated by it. It is a drink which has been sealed with the musk of immaculateness from falsehood.
The drink of those drawn near (muqarrabin) is the water of tasnim. In a tradition from Imam Jafar b. Muhammad al-Sadiq (ع), it has been stated that
“Tasnim is the most blessed of drinks in heaven, from which Muhammad and his Noble Progeny drink. The rest of the people of heaven drink from a mixture of that.”15
The cupbearer of that drink is Allah (SWT) Himself16 and the chalice will be the truth of knowledge and love towards Him.17
From what we have said, we can understand that just as in this world people differ in their degrees of perfection; in heaven they also have different degrees of perfection. Their share of the blessings of paradise is equivalent to their spiritual capacity. That is why they have been called by different names in the Noble Quran. What is certain is that the blessings of heaven are filled with pleasure and happiness, but not exactly like the pleasures of this world.
Brief Answer
“Sharab” means something which can be drunk and “tahur” means that which is in itself pure and uncontaminated and also makes other things pure. We can gather from various verses that in heaven there are various kinds of drinks that are pure and refreshing. The term “Sharaban Tahuran” has been mentioned in one of these verses:
“Their Lord will serve them with the pure drink.”18
There are three views as to what this drink is:
1. Some have said this drink is what believers will drink in paradise after having eaten heavenly foods. This drink will clear all internal wastes. The only thing left will appear in the form of a fragrant perspiration on the skin.
2. Others have taken this drink to be spiritual blessings for spiritual progress. As narrated from Imam Jafar b. Muhammad al-Sadiq (ع),
“When the believer drinks the ‘pure drink’ he forgets everything other than Allah and turns solely towards his Master.”
A narration from Imam Muhammad b. ‘Ali al-Baqir (ع) says
“When the believers drink from it Allah cleans their hearts from envy.”
3. A third group has combined the previous two opinions. They have said that since man is a beautiful combination of the dark soil and a divine soul, he needs not only material sustenance but also spiritual blessings.
Just as the spiritual wayfaring of people differs so too does the rewards they receive in heaven. In some verses of the Noble Quran the drinks in paradise have been mentioned in very beautiful phrases: the most beautiful cup-bearers; tall with pretty faces and deep-set eyes, going around with chalices of a pure drink amongst the believers in heaven; a very clear drink that gives them an indescribable feeling. This drink does not demolish the intellect, nor do they become intoxicated and drunk with it.
Other verses relate that the “abrar” will drink from a refreshing drink called “rahiq makhtum.” This drink has a scented seal on it which keeps it from any type of contamination.
The “muqarrabuun’s” share will be from the spring called “tasnim.” The cup-bearer will be the Lord himself and the chalice will be the truth of knowledge and love towards Him.
There is a narration from the Noble Prophet (ص) that he said “Tasnim is the noblest drink in paradise which Muhammad (ص) and his progeny will drink and the Ashab Yamin and the rest will drink from a mixture that contains some of it.”
Thus, as people are of different levels in this world, they will be in different levels in paradise as well. What they enjoy from paradise will be according to their spiritual capacity. This is why the Noble Quran mentions them with different terms calling a group “ashab yamin” others “abrar” and some “muqarrabun.” Their rewards will also be according to their ranks.

🍃🕊🍃 The Year of the Elephant
The above-mentioned episode happened in his youth. Now we come to the most important event of his life which took place just eight years before his death. By then, he was the patriarch of the tribe.
The Ethiopian governor of Yemen, Abraha al-Ashram, envied the reverence in which the Ka'bah was held by the Arabs. Being a staunch Christian, he built a big cathedral in Sanaa (the capital of Yemen) and ordered the Arabs to go there for pilgrimage instead. The order was ignored. Not only that; someone entered the cathedral and made it unclean. The wrath of Abraha knew no bounds. In his fury, he decided to avenge it by demolishing and desecrating the Ka'bah itself. He advanced with a large army towards Mecca.
There were many elephants in his army; he himself rode a huge elephant. It was an animal which the Arabs had not seen before, thus the year came to be known as 'Amul-Fil (the year of the elephant), and it started an era for reckoning the years in Arabia. This remained in use until the days of 'Umar ibn al Khattab when, on the advice of Hazrat 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (ra), he replaced it with the era of Hijra.
When news of the advance of Abraha's army came, the Arabian tribes of Quraish, Kinanah, Khuza'ah and Hudhayl joined together to defend the Ka'bah. Abraha sent a small contingent towards Mecca to capture the camels and young people. The contingent captured many animals, including two hundred of 'Abdul-Muttalib's.
Meanwhile, a man from the tribe of Himyar was sent by Abraha to Quraish to advise them that Abraha had not come to fight them: his only aim was to demolish the Ka'bah. But if the Quraish resisted, they would be crushed. Then followed a frightening description of his huge army, which, admittedly, was much larger and better equipped than all the tribes put together.
'Abdul-Muttalib replied to this ultimatum in these words: "By Allah, we do not want to fight him. So far as this House (the Ka'bah) is concerned, it is the House of Allah; if Allah wants to save His House, He will save it, and if He leaves it unprotected, no one can save it."
Then 'Abdul-Muttalib, with 'Amr ibn Lu'aba and some other prominent leaders, went to see Abraha. Abraha was informed before hand of the prestige and position of 'Abdul-Muttalib. Also the personality of 'Abdul-Muttalib was very impressive and aweinspiring. When he entered Abraha's tent, the latter rose from his throne, warmly welcomed him, and seated him beside him on the carpet. During the conversation, 'Abdul-Muttalib requested him to release his camels. Abraha was astonished. He said: "When my eyes fell upon you, I was so impressed by you that had you requested me to withdraw my army and go back to Yemen, I would have granted that request. But now, I have no respect for you. Why? Here I have come to demolish the House which is the religious center of yours and of your forefathers and the foundation of your prestige and respect in Arabia, and you say nothing to save it; instead, you ask me to return your few camels back to you?!"
'Abdul-Muttalib said: "I am the owner of the camels, (therefore, I tried to save them), and this House has its own Owner Who will surely protect it." Abraha was stunned by this reply. He ordered the camels to be released, and the deputation of Quraish returned.
On the second day, Abraha issued orders to his army to enter Mecca. 'Abdul-Muttalib told the Meccans to leave the city and to seek refuge in the surrounding hills. But he, together with some leading members of Quraish, remained within the precincts of the Ka'bah. Abraha sent someone to warn them to vacate the building. When the messenger came, he asked the people who their leader was. All fingers pointed towards 'Abdul-Muttalib. He was again invited to go to Abraha where he had a talk with him. When he came out, he was heard saying: "The Owner of this House is its Defender, and I am sure He will save it from the attack of the adversaries and will not dishonor the servants of His House."
'Abdul-Muttalib then took hold of the door of the Ka'bah and, crying to Allah, prayed in the following words (of poetry):
(O Allah! Surely a man defends his own home, therefore, Thou shouldst protect Thy Own House. Their cross and their wrath can never overcome Thy wrath. O Allah, help Thy Own people against the fellows of the cross and its worshippers).
Then he, too, went to the summit of the hill, Abu Qubays. Abraha advanced with his army. Seeing the walls of the Ka'bah, he ordered its demolition. No sooner had the army reached near the Ka'bah than an army of Allah appeared from the western side. A dark cloud of small birds (known in Arabic as Ababil) overshadowed the entire army of Abraha. Each bird had three pebbles: two in its claws and one in its beak. A rain of the pebbles poured down from the birds, and in a few minutes, the whole army was destroyed. Abraha himself was seriously wounded; he fled towards Yemen but died on the way.
It is to this important event that Allah refers in Chapter 105:
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with the companions of the Elephant? Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? And He sent against them birds in flocks, striking them with stones of baked clay, so He rendered them like straw eaten up. (Quran, 105)
Some historians have tried to minimize the impact of the Divine intervention by suggesting that the army perished because of an epidemic of smallpox. But such an explanation creates more puzzles than it solves. How was it that the whole army was seized by that epidemic just when it was advancing on the Ka'bah? How was it that not a single soldier survived that epidemic? Why was it that no Meccan caught that contagious epidemic? Moreover, if there was no epidemic in Mecca before or after that sudden burst of the plague, where did the epidemic come from?
This epoch-making episode happened in 570 A.D. It was in the same year that the Holy Prophet of Islam was born to Abdullah and Amina.
