I finally finished my drawing of Post-TCW Clovis, where he survived his fall, though not without serious injury.
(The glove isn’t disguising a bionic arm or anything, I just thought it was cool. Maybe he has a pet falcon or something.)

You know any French swords? For a… research project. yeah
And at this very moment, I felt an unspeakable regret for not picking history as a major lol
I’ll be honest I don’t know much about this subject and I’m pretty sure you’ve found more knowledge with your research than I’ve had or looked up kdnjbnjgb- But I still have some thoughts on the subject so I’m going to share them anyway :
Swords are an important part of the French gentleman aesthetic ! We’re mostly talking 17th century here, but it kept going until at least the 18th/start of the 19th. At this time, a gentleman had to know how to use a sword, how to ride a horse and how to dance (Layton you dork). They usually did fencing with swords like the fleuret. (Not a French sword tho)
Adding to that last point, most of the swords actually used by the French were not created by them : I’m thinking about the fleuret, the rapière, the lansquenet... I think there may be one sword that is MAYBE French (big emphasis on the maybe), and that would be the canne-épée ? It is a weapon that got very popular in France after the French Revolution (19th century onward, so closer to the period we’re interested about !!). Basically the new government forbad people from casually wearing swords, so instead people would use this regular cane with a sword hidden inside. Like all other swords, the canne-épée was used either by aristocrats/rich people or by respectable people (gentlemen, I think some important artists did too because there WAS that one instance of famous French poet Rimbaud swearing at a guy before attacking him with his sword lkdfgnjldfn)
Swords were used for wars, for fencing and for duels. I’m developing the duel part because I know media loves to share a thousands and one version of them : someone offends you/your honor, you ask for a duel (+ you specify which type : to death or not), they get to choose the weapons (either sword or gun), and once you’ve agreed that everyone is physically abled to fight you do it in front of your witness.
Related to that last point, duels (and swords) were usually an aristocrat thing until the French Revolution : after that, it became more of a thing in political and journalistic spheres (wink wink). Of course there are many people who disapproved of duels and saw them as barbaric (the Church especially hated them), but still they remained for a long time. The last duel in France was in the late 1960s !

Originally, Padme had thought six weeks was far too long for an orientation program. But two weeks in, the sheer volume of information they needed to absorb was just... mind boggling. She'd always been a diligent student, but after spending the past four years out of school, she didn't relish going back to it.
Still, she knew others were counting on her to do well. She also knew the holonet had been running stories claiming she was too young and inexperienced for the job, and she was determined to prove them wrong. So she'd thrown herself into learning as many names, committees, procedures and political positions as possible, which was why she was currently rushing down the corridor with her nose buried in her datapad. It was Friday night, and she did want to join the rest of her classmates for drinks, but first she really needed to finish reading up on the committees with open seats.
And that was why she didn't notice the person coming around the opposite side of the corner from her until it was too late and she'd bumped straight into him.
Tumblr media
"Oh! Excuse me," she said, shoving the datapad into a pocket of her gown and looking up (very far up, mind you) at the man she'd nearly steamrolled over with an expression of chagrin. Then recognition hit. He was also a classmate. She searched her mind for the name and then smiled when she remembered it. "It's Senator Clovis, right?"

It had been a quiet day at the base, no outstanding mission from the G.A.R meaning she had been stationed back at her usual office on the coruscant, locked away from the hustle and bustle of the halls outside as she passed the time doing whatever paperwork she had stacked up on her desk.
So you could imagine her surprise at the door to her private office isn't Janell, the newest intern for the T.A.I program, asking where they keep the backup data pads again, but instead a senator. It was rare for her to see senator's outside of the Naboo senator, or any she met during assigned mission's, but this was the first time one had come to her office. But, confused or not, she stepped away from her work, motioning for the gentleman to take a seat atop one of the 3 medical bed's set up off to the side, the only available spaces to sit, much to her buried embarrassment. She really needed to get some chairs.
After looking the door behind him, a habit she got into due to how many time's the other medics forget to knock and continuously kept barging in on her appointments, she goes to speak but gets beat to the point, raising a brow at the opener.
❝ You're in my office, Cleary you need my advice or medical attention. It's not in my contract to go digging into my client's business unless i have reason to be concerned for their safety or the safety of other's- ❞ She speaks the words like she's reading from a script, as if she's had to explain this multiple time's which really, she has.
Tumblr media
❝ -But i will ask why you've come to me of all people. I'm not the best medic, kark knows they're are many above my skill grade i could recommend you to, and don't senator's have their own private medic's? ❞ She isn't accusing him of anything sounding more confused than anything

You know while I understand completely why Anakin is disliked or hated in the fandom there´s one take about his story with Padme I will never get, the comment about how Anakin beat "poor innocent Clovis" as if he had been innocently just there hanging out with Padme and big bad Anakin came along and decided to beat him out of nowhere, he is even pictured as this kind of "Pro-feminist" character icon while I am like:
Clovis literally tried to force himself on Padmé
Tumblr media
Sure he was a Senator like Padmé was but main reason why Clovis didn´t report Anakin beating him out has to do with the fact it isn´t a pretty picture for him, he would have to talk about how he was trying to kiss Padmé agaisnt her will and Anakin lost it when he saw them.
Their first interaction in the clone wars ended with Padmé poisoned, Anakin literally had to carry her out of Clovis house to seek treatment for her because he was allied with the same Federation that send killers towards her when she was 14 and used the opportunity to get the job done.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Anakin almost kills poor Clovis out of jealousy"
Anakin beat him out because Clovis was trying to force himself on his wife, Anakin is a trained soldier and Jedi with a metal arm and the strongest force user ever while Clovis is a pampered Senator with light self defense training, if Anakin wanted Clovis dead he would have died, if Anakin didn´t hold himself back Clovis would have died with his first punch.
Tumblr media
"Anakin was mean and controlling with Padme during this arc"
Tumblr media
Anakin remembered the first time Padme tried to use her charm to spy on Clovis she ended up poisoned and tried to warm her about this, sure he was also afraid and jealous but he didn´t want her to be in danger again, yet respected her decision to keep spying on Clovis and after he lost it and beat him he accepted her decision of ending their marriage and guess what? He left her alone, I guess there is one character who understands no is no and it isn´t Clovis.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later they only patch their relationship back because Padme had to call Anakin for help because Clovis, under pressure from Dooku, almost kills her and she needed Anakin to get her and Clovis out of there. Padmé would not have been in that possition if she wasn´t so confident that she could take care of herself on her own, with only one of her handmaidens help, so called handmaiden was killed because of Padmé´s imprudence.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I like Padmé as a character and I liker her initiative in the prequels, she is an heroice character, she is actually Sidious foil as a politician and sure many fans are like"yas Queen" tell that brute Anakin how it is but the truth is that she isn´t a perfect character and that´s great because well written characters are like that, she also makes mistakes that sometimes cost lifes, she is a complex character like many in Star Wars with virtues and flaws and Clovis most definitely wasn´t any kind of feminist icon as some in the fandom like to picture him.
Tumblr media
Actually if this was an AU I actually believe it would have done Anakin and Padme well to stay separated for while to learn to appreciate each other out of a context in which they are trying to ignore their problems at their careers and actually come together stronger as couple but well, then again, if that were the case, ROTS would not have happened and we all know who wanted to keep them together but at conflict with each other in order to drive anakin further into madness and the darkside.

I saw you had thoughts on the Codywan v Anidala lightsaber exchange and I need to hear these juicy details, please and thank you ☺️
Ask and you shall receive!
Everything I'm gonna outline in detail below can basically be summarized as this-
"Anakin and Padme--for all their talk about how much they love and trust each other--don't actually trust each other. Meanwhile Cody and Obi-Wan never really talk about trusting each other, but it's obvious that there is a natural trust between them. The lightsaber exchange represents this."
-----
In RotS and in the later seasons of TCW, it's pointed out or shown multiple times that Anakin and Padme do not trust each other, even on the most basic level.
In the RotS novelization, Padme is talking with some senators about possibly opposing the Chancellor--but one of them insists that they'll need to backing of the Jedi to do that. Padme then says that there is one Jedi who she trusts above all else...and then is promptly horrified when she actually thinks about it and finds that Anakin doesn't make the cut--and then has a mini-crisis about it and puts the blame on others for their shitty relationship ('Oh Ani, what are they doing to us?').
In the whole Rush Clovis arc of TCW, we see how mistrustful Anakin is of Padme--going so far as to put himself in the middle of them every chance he gets.
Now some might argue that it's Clovis that he was mistrustful of but, call me crazy, if I trusted my partner and I was in Anakin's shoes (aka having to let Padme get close to Clovis for the greater good of the galaxy, because it could help them win the war) then I wouldn't be putting myself in the middle of them all the time. I would trust my partner to remain faithful to me or, considering the situation that they were in, only be unfaithful as a last resort. I also wouldn't get mad at my partner when someone else tried to kiss her, even after she said no. Which Anakin does.
All of this adds together to show that, despite what he says, Anakin doesn't actually trust her.
Early in TCW we actually see the seeds of this as well, even though it's not framed that way.
In "Hostage Crisis" we open up the episode by watching as Anakin tries to convince Padme to take a vacation with him, despite her still having work in the Senate. He then proceeds to give her his lightsaber and repeatedly state how much he trusts her, basically going-
"See? My lightsaber is supposed to be a Jedi's life, how can I not trust you if I'm letting you hold it? See how much I trust you?"
then blah blah blah the rest of the episode happens.
It's not framed this way, but to me that actually shows a level of mistrust and insecurity in the relationship. I don't know about you, but the only time I tell someone I trust them, unprompted, is when I don't actually trust them but I'm trying to convince them that I do. Otherwise I don't need to say it, because I show it. That's what I see in Anidala.
Now, in contrast, let's look at Cody and Obi-Wan.
Multiple times in TCW and then in RotS, Cody keeps Obi-Wan's lightsaber safe when he loses it and then returns it to Obi-Wan later--and we can assume that it happens more than is shown because Cody even has a lightsaber clip on his armor which, as far as I'm aware, is never shown on any other clone in any of the shows or movies. It's specific to them.
It's never mentioned between them, though. Ever. The most they do is flirt tease a little (as shown in the RotS novelization), but Obi-Wan never tells Cody "oh wow, I let you take care of my lightsaber, look at how much I trust you" or even has that moment of thinking it to himself. It's never brought up, because it doesn't have to be.
The two just naturally trust each other, Obi-Wan naturally trusts Cody with his life--both his physical one and the life represented by his lightsaber. There's no need for convincing or to make it some big spectacle, it just is.
As @dreamerkath commented under one of my posts, "CodyWan is the balance that Anidala couldn't achieve."
Cody and Obi-Wan are everything that Anakin and Padme try to convince themselves they are...and neither of them burned down the fucking galaxy to show it.

I watched a video on YouTube and it said Anakin and Padmé's relationship in The Clone Wars tv show showed signs of abuse. Do you think that was intentional at all by the writers?
I think that in Star Wars: The Clone Wars:
Anakin Skywalker does exhibit controlling behavior
Controlling behavior is when a person attempts to conform another person to their own needs or desires and trying to get their way by some form of manipulation. It's the outsized desire for control, and it's unhealthy, unhelpful, and may create relationship conflicts, but it's not always abusive. Controlling behavior becomes abusive when it is coercive (threatening). The Clovis Arc of Star Wars: The Clone Wars reveals that Anakin Skywalker exhibited non-coercive, thus, as far as the definition goes, non-abusive controlling behaviors, leading to relationship conflicts with Padmé Amidala. Let's examine them.
Tumblr media
In Senate Spy, Anakin's fear of losing Padmé manifests itself in him trying to prevent her from fulfilling the Jedi Council's request to spy on Rush Clovis, "Because it's going to be dangerous. Whoever takes this mission will be putting their life at risk." Padmé, however, points out that she is perfectly capable of taking care of herself: "I've been in many tough situations before. It never seemed to bother you." Anakin ends up declaring: "I'm not gonna let you do it." But in the same time, it's very important to realize that Padmé immediately sets out and defends her boundaries, she repels Anakin's attempt to control her: "You're not going to let me? It's not your decision to make. It's mine."
Tumblr media
In The Rise of Clovis, Padmé is asked by Palpatine to "work closely with Rush Clovis" to expose the corruption plaguing the Intergalactic Banking Clan. Anakin is unhappy about this, as he is not trusting him. Padmé tells him that he must trust her judgment on the matter. It should be noted that this time, Anakin's concerns are more founded, but his answer, "Like the last time, hmm? When you almost ended up dead?" is twisting the facts: first, Padmé knew that Clovis is a traitor and that she is risking her life by trying to expose him, second, even as it's true that she was poisoned during the mission, that was the result of Lot Dod tried to force Clovis to comply with his demands. Furthermore, adds, "Or how about you just getting arrested, and it was me who had to bail you out?" Which shows that in his mind, if Padmé chooses to do something risky, it's a poor and unintelligent choice. He ends up saying: "As your husband, I demand that you tell the Chancellor you are stepping down." Once again, he attempts to control Padmé, this time clearly showing that he views their marriage as a bond that supposedly gives him some control over his wife.
NOTICE: The Clovis Arc showed that there is a recurring unhealthy pattern in the relationship between Anakin & Padmé, showing that something must change. All the conflicts between them are arising from Anakin's fear of losing Padmé, which results in him attempting to control Padmé's decisions. In the same time, this behavior is not feeding into a pattern that extends to, and therefore defines every aspects of their relationship. It should also be acknowledged that Padmé is not allowing herself to be controlled and she successfully protects her boundaries and independency. Her reaction to Anakin's controlling behavior clearly tells us that he is not behaving in a way that she is used to, warning him, "we've been over this before." In other episodes, Anakin takes no issue with Padmé participating in the battle on Mon Cala, or with she sneaking to the capital world of the Separatists, thus, it seems that his outsized desire for control flares up from time to time, but it's not defining their dynamic.
Anakin Skywalker is jealous and is distrustful
Jealousy is a negative emotion and attitude focusing on our partner and a third person, in which we resent that person for appearing to take away or being likely to take away the affections of a loved one. Basically, we are scared that we will lose our special relationship to the third person, and as a result, we become intolerant to any rivalry or of possible unfaithfulness. It's not unnatural to experience jealousy in a close relationship, however, it's crucial to be able to manage it.
Tumblr media
In Senate Spy, Anakin's attachment and the fear of loss flowing from it causes him to be distrustful and jealous toward Rush Clovis, as he realized that he and Padmé were involved romantically years before. Although in order to fulfill her mission to expose him as a spy, Padmé needs to seduce him, Anakin, disguised as a Naboo pilot, clearly tries to sabotage that. Later, he walks into the room in the moment when Padmé throws herself into Clovis' arms in order to distract him. He is flooded by jealousy, staring at her with anger and in pain. She signals him, revealing that she is actually hiding the data they need. When Padmé and Anakin are leaving with the evidence, Padmé tells him, "I'm sorry", since "I made you doubt me." Anakin answers he "never" doubted her, but this is not exactly true: there was a moment when his emotions clouded his judgment and let them to make him jump to the conclusion that he is losing Padmé to Clovis.
Tumblr media
In An Old Friend and The Rise of Clovis, Clovis is back, and so does Anakin's jealousy and insecurities, and this time, they're manifesting themselves more clearly and more disturbingly. He claims, he doesn't want Padmé to work together with Clovis because he is worrying for her safety, but there is more to that: his fear of losing Padmé feeds into anger toward Clovis, who is, in his mind, a threat, both to Padmé and to their relationship, which feeds into burning hatred toward him. When they're together in Padmé's apartment, Clovis makes advances on her, but she firmly turns him down. He is frustrated, asking, "It's that Jedi isn't it?" Padmé insists "there is nothing romantic between" her and Anakin. Clovis says, "Then there is absolutely nothing to stop us from doing this", taking her and leaning in to kiss her, and Anakin enters in the exact moment she utters, "Clovis, no!" Anakin is mortified and snarls, "Get away from her!" Startled, Clovis backs away from Padmé. Anakin grabs him with the Force, he strangles him and slams him against the wall. Drawing his sword, he is marching towards him. Padmé is in shock, crying, "Anakin! No!" She is ignored by both Anakin and Clovis: Clovis invites Anakin to fight, "like a man without your Jedi tricks", something that Anakin gladly accepts. During their fight, Clovis sarcastically asks Padmé, "I thought you said he didn't have feelings for you?" to which Anakin reacts with staring at her, shocked and hurt. The two are beating each other up in a fist fight, and when Padmé screams at them to stop, Anakin yells at her, "you don't have a say in this!"
Tumblr media
There are some who would insist, the scene shows Anakin gallantly saving Padmé from the man who is harassing her sexually - however, this interpretation is seriously problematic. The first thing to note is that Anakin attempts to explain his actions by saying, "I'm so sorry, Padmé. I don't know what came over me." and "It's just when I saw you about to kiss him..." Not "he was about to kiss you." Padmé tells him, "I regret that, but it was not what you thought. And you must know I don't care for Clovis." To which Anakin reacts with asking her: "Don't you?" Anakin's reaction - outrage, demanding Clovis to get away from Padmé then attacking him - was entirely the result of him perceiving the situation as Padmé kissing Clovis, and his reaction would've be the same if Padmé would've been a willing participant in the kiss with Clovis, because as he said, "you don't have a say in this." Which means, whether or not Padmé wants to be kissed by Clovis is irrelevant to him, what matters is that he doesn't want that to happen. Then, he accuses his wife with being unfaithful. This scares Padmé and it also hurts her, and she is explicitly telling him, "This marriage is not a marriage, Anakin, if there isn't any trust."
NOTICE: Anakin is not portrayed to display habitual behaviors of distrust. The core of his issues, harming his relationship with Padmé is his attachment to her and also his inability to be mindful of his emotions. Emotions are not bad at all, but when they awake as a response to our perception and understanding of a situation, they usually make us to stop thinking: we respond immediately, without any conscious thought, pushing us to act upon them and we're driven by them. To be mindful of one's emotions is to be conscious and aware of them. By bringing our emotions into the space of our conscious and passive, i.e. non-judgmental and non-reactive awareness, with calmness and inner peace, their power to kick us out of the driver's seat, to narrow our perspective and distort our perception of reality falls away: we can find the gap between the moments of our experience and the reaction, the response, where we can appraise the situation accurately, rationally. His distrust in Padmé lacks any rational basis - it's the result of him not being able to deal with his fear of loss, which drives him to act negatively.
It should be noted that Clovis' attempt to kiss Padmé has the potential to be read as sexual misconduct, thus, Padmé telling Anakin that she "regrets" what happened can also be read as her apologizing for Clovis grabbing her and then trying to kiss her, and this leads to the notion that Anakin blamed Padmé for being assaulted.
Now, it must be taken into consideration that Star Wars is not a "may I have your expressed verbal consent to kiss you?" type of romance, instead, it follows the "kiss borns out spontaneously from the situation" style, so Clovis (just like Han and Anakin in both trilogies) going for a kiss is not exactly out of place. The difference here is that Padmé clearly doesn't want to be kissed by him, but there is nuance to this. Clovis is leaning closer to her as she is telling him, "Clovis, no!" and she is drawing back to avoid him. As we cut to Anakin right after she says "no", and as she is finishing the sentence, they're both in the middle of movement - Clovis is leaning closer and Padmé is leaning backwards. Because we cut to Anakin, we don't see if Clovis was still going after the kiss after Padmé declared that she doesn't consent, or did he stop after that. When we cut back to them, Clovis is still holding her, but they don't appear to be closer to each other than before, so if he didn't move closer to her within the (roughly) 2,5 seconds during we were shown Anakin, it seems safe to conclude that he did stop. This is supported by the fact that neither Anakin or Padmé registered his behavior as assault and that Padmé makes no attempt to tell him that Clovis was actually forcing himself onto her, ignoring her protests. It's more plausible that what Padmé expresses "regret" over is that she didn't resist physically, only verbally.
In Conclusion
In Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it's very clear that Anakin and Padmé were written in a way that it showed Anakin's attachment and his struggle to keep the anger, hate and aggression coming from that fearful grasp on Padmé, under check. This is undoubtedly intentional - George Lucas initially planned to hint their issues, mainly Anakin's jealousy, in Episode III, which was cut from the final script but was clearly introduced in Clone Wars:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, based on my own limited knowledge, this is not enough to call their relationship abusive. An abusive relationship will involve one party using their power over the other party to prevent them from doing anything except what the abusive person wants - one party controlling the other’s thoughts, feelings, or actions. Some conflict is normal in any relationship, healthy relationships involve two people who are both free to disagree, debate, and have their own opinions. Anakin clearly tries to control Padmé, which leads to conflicts, but Padmé is not allowing him to do that. Anakin is clearly unhappy with this, but he actually backs down once he meets resistance. There is a power struggle, which is never healthy, but no power imbalance.
There were unhealthy patterns there that needed to be healed, but unhealthy patterns and patterns of abuse are not the automatically the same. If you experience unhappiness in your relationship because of the behavior of your partner, something must change and if it cannot be changed, then the relationship must end. No one has a license to make you feel unhappy.
But although an abusive relationship is always unhealthy, an unhealthy relationship is not always abusive. There is just no attempt on Anakin's part to monitor her communication, to isolate her or to try to control her financially, to coerce her and there are expressions of anger and frustration, but I can't recall one that could be called an attempt to manipulate her emotionally and obviously, there is no physical violence (in Episode III on Mustafar there is, but that's a totally different context). So, I would say that what we can see on the screen can be called "signs of abuse" only if we assume that we're outsiders observing a relationship, because we can easily suspect that the behaviors we see are feeding into a larger pattern. But a fictional couple doesn't have a life "behind closed doors", we have all relevant information about their relationship.

“We have a few plants...some hearty herbs, actually, commonly used in medicine. But not so much in the way of flowers, which I’m especially interested in.”
He noticed her sway a little as she stood, but didn’t comment on it; he simply let her take his hand and followed her onto the dance floor, watching her to make sure that she didn’t stumble. He kept his hand gently on her elbow until he was sure she was steady on her feet. It had been a while since he’d danced, and this was a little different from what he was used to, but he eventually got the hang of it.
“What sorts of flowers?” she asked. “I don’t know much about herbs, but I have been thinking of trying to grow some of my favorite Naboolian flowers out on my veranda. Perhaps you could advise me.”
She noticed he kept his hand on her elbow, and she definitely didn’t mind it. She also noticed that he seemed a little more stiff in his movement at first, but finally settled in. “Did you do much clubbing out on Scipio?” she asked, flashing him a teasing smile.

Imagine “Star Wars” special edition: movies.
• Black, Red, Royal•
Imagine you and General Skywalker don’t get along at all, but for the sake of the Republic, you are forced to appear to work well together…Part I.
Warnings: based on “Red Blue Royal” movie.
Warnings 2: light/comfort reading…
***
Anakin’s POV.
He’s just landed to Coruscant, proud of his success in the recent mission that Obi-Wan delivered him. According to his perspective, there were not so many losses to count on, which means the war remains balanced… but favorably towards the Republic.
If he’s not being overly optimistic, as Obi-Wan often remarks, war might come to an end soon. An unnecessary conflict that every day seems to linger, but who is he if not a soldier fighting for peace?
Trying not to get himself too lost in his thoughts, specially when these seem to caught him in a complex web of contradictions where the Jedi Order is concerned, he rather focuses on the present. Overall because Obi-Wan is waiting for him.
“Ah, Anakin! I’ve been looking forward to seeing you again”, so the Master greets his former Padawan friendly.
Anakin smiles when placing a hand over his Master’s shoulder.
“So you’ve heard we won this battle?”, he speaks with a smug on his face.
“Yes, I have. How could I not? But don’t let success get to your head too soon for another mission waits”, so tells Obi-Wan in advance. “Do you remember princess Y/N of the planet Y/C?”
Not too soon his smile is wiped out of his face and a frown is seen forming over his eyebrows.
“…Yes. What about it?”
Ignoring the look on his pupil’s face, Obi-Wan proceeds to explain:
“Her planet is in great danger. It has come to our knowledge that Dooku is interested in getting that region’s resources to build a secret weapon we have yet to discover. The attacks have started and she has pledged help from Senate.”
“Couldn’t you send somebody else?”, he groans. “I’ve just returned from…”
“No, Anakin”, Obi-Wan heavily sighs as he cuts the other off. “You are the most experienced here and Ahsoka is in Mandalore. Besides, whatever has Lady H/N done to you to deserve such a swift of mood?”
“She is cocky, arrogant and…” Anakin shrugs her shoulders.
“And? And she didn’t flirt you back like Senator Padmé Amidala did?”, the redhaired Master raises his eyebrows, struggling to keep his amusement behind his eyes.
“It’s not about that”, Anakin retorts. “And whoever said Senator Padmé flirted back with me? Haven’t you heard she’s back together with that Senator Clovis?”
All of Obi-Wan’s efforts have no avail as he eventually chuckles.
“You seem to forget that we must not form any romantic attachments. Let them be and your broken heart will heal”, he smiles. “Can I count on you in safeguarding Lady Y/N?”
Anakin is not looking the happiest when he responds:
“Yes, Master. When have I ever refused you anything?”
***
• Your POV.
You look through the window, back to your colleagues in order to keep your displeasure away from their faces. Your eyes are glued in the landscape your planet provides: such a beautiful mixture of light purple skies with the green of fields and blue rivers cutting them in half, with different shapes of houses inhabited by your subjects.
Beneath the simplicity with which you and your ancestors have conducted the planet over centuries, there is a lot of richness that you try to protect, using it only for the common good. However, with the Clonic Wars, neutrality—once a wise move that had everyone agreed to for the sake of the planet—is twisted to aggression.
Count Dooku has been launching attacks since he found out by a spy—a traitor that you opted to exile instead of hang—that there are resources he could use to help the Separatists. But your army is not enough powerful to stop him. And now you wait for the Jedis.
“Madame, they are here”, your secretary’s voice breaks you from your thoughts.
“Who?”, you inquired, sounding distant from yourself, trying not to sound so defeated.
“The Jedi Master and his men”, so you are informed.
“Good”, you tell him. “Send them in.”
You straight the skirt of your dress, change your posture and turn around, gathering your ladies in waiting as the protocol dictates. Few members of the Privy Council are left at your presence before others are dismissed.
But when the doors open, you try not to show some disappointment when seeing Anakin Skywalker… next to General Rex.
“Greetings, my lords”, you welcome them once they are announced by a local herald. “I pray you have done a safe journey to planet Y/C?”
“Princess Y/N Y/LN”, the Jedi bows, a gesture followed by his general. “It was an easy journey, thank you for inquiring.”
“It took some time for the Senate to answer my appeals”, you cannot help yourself. “Dooku sent a few men and droids to take what’s not theirs by right.”
“Well, with all due respect, Madame, but we cannot be in two places at the same time”, Anakin responds with a scoff.
“Of course not, I don’t expect the Jedis bear such a trick”, you retort. “But doesn’t the Chancellor hold sufficient power and men to send aid to my planet? As far as I know we live in the same galaxy.”
Anakin narrows his eyes. Suddenly, tension is felt. But before he has the opportunity to respond, your prime-minister clears his throat and says:
“We all appreciate your efforts, General Skywalker. This war is wearing us out, do excuse us for looking tired. We just don’t know what to do anymore.”
“You are excused”, he says in greeted teeth. “But we are doing the best we can. I hope the princess can see that in long term.”
You glare at him. Of all the Jedis, should have been Anakin Skywalker the one sent by the Senate? Could things get any worse?!
***
•Anakin’s POV.
“How was it?”, Obi-Wan’s voice is heard throughout the hologram.
“Terrible, how else should it be? She’s proud and annoying, that’s what she is”, complains Anakin. “Has Ahsoka returned yet? Maybe she’s doing a better work here.”
“Anakin, I’ve expressively told you not to depart before the mission is complete. May I remind you that it’s your duty to the Jedi and an obligation to the Senate to help planet Y/C to stay safe from Dooku’s attack?”
“Yes, you may, Master.”
And Anakin turns off the hologram, hardly patient to hear any more scowls of Obi-Wan. Not too far from there, Rex clears his throat.
“Permission to speak, sir?”
“Permission granted, Rex. As if you need one”, Anakin chuckles.
“Well, as much as you might think the princess is difficult to deal with, she is doing what she can to keep it safe.” He hesitates, and Anakin knows there is more. Seeing the encouragement in his general’s face, he adds. “She’s growing unpopular in the planet because of it. If Lady Y/N doesn’t marry and produce children, she might lose the control of the crown her family has been holding for centuries.”
“That does seem a lot of pressure to be put on her arms”, Anakin concedes, albeit unwillingly. “But what am I supposed to do? I am a soldier, Rex. Obi-Wan should have come if diplomacy is what Lady Y/N desires.”
“We are in the middle of a war as you said yourself, sir. She needs thus a warrior”, adds Rex. “For the sake of Galaxy, we must not let her lose the crown… or else every effort to keep it from Dooku’s hands is going to be useless.”
“Very well”, grumbles the Jedi. “I’ll see what I can do.”
Rex nods his head respectfully, but Anakin swears he saw a small smile on his general’s lips.
***
• Your POV.
It’s earlier than usual. The palace is quiet, an indicator there is no one awake at such an hour. You don’t wait for your ladies, eager to dissipate the anxiety that has been growing in your heart. You dress a red gown this day and opt to leave your hair down for a while.
But what you don’t expect is to meet him too, already breaking his fast by himself at the kitchen table.
“Oh”, you exclaim, getting the Jedi out of your thoughts. “Up so soon, General?”
“I hope you don’t mind”, he says rather awkwardly when standing abruptly to bow.
“I don’t. And you don’t have to bow”, you tell him as you start looking for something to eat.
“You are the princess. I might get arrested for not following the protocol”, Anakin remarks grumpily.
You laugh sarcastically.
“Looks like you take me for a vixen that needs to be tamed”.
Something about how you speak it seems to make him quiet. Noticing it so, you turn and raise an eyebrow:
“What? Did I frighten you, General?”
“No. I am in no position for being rude.”
“On that we can agree.”
Another tension comes to scene, falling in awkward silence that hangs between the two of you. Not willing this to continue, though, you say:
“I think we didn’t start well.”
“Definitely not”, Anakin agrees. “I should have understood your position better.”
You raise your eyes and as you meet his, it seems for the first time you notice his irises are painted in a very deep shade of blue.
“Is that how a Jedi apologizes or Jedis don’t usually apologize?”, you tease him, pleased to see he’s actually able to smile.
Sitting in front of him as you begin to eat a bowl of cereals with milk, you act as his presence doesn’t affect you. Why should it? He’s just a man, a cocky, bold and arrogant man. It’s what you tell yourself.
Anakin reclines back in his chair, arms folded as he studies you.
“That depends to whom you ask this question. But you are not entirely different, are you, princess?”
You take a napkin carefully from your lips and wipe the bits of milk out of your mouth. As the confusion is stamped in you face, for you don’t seem to get where his grudge comes from, Anakin cannot help himself when saying:
“Well, let me refresh your memory: the day we dined together with other Senators and you snubbed me because I was not yet a Master.”
You glance at him, surprised. Is this why he’s been acting so pompously?
“Oh? This happened a few years ago!”
“So you don’t deny this happened?” Anakin asks you, rather impatiently.
At least you blush.
“Look… I had no idea… I…” You clear your throat, trying to get some time. The occasion he mentioned happened when your father was still alive and you were being presented to other diplomats, politicians and some Jedis. You may have been immature and behaved unkindly to some Padawans, as was the case with Anakin. “Nothing excuses my behavior, but I had no patience with that dinner. You may not believe in me, but I don’t like these festivities. I don’t belong in them.”
Anakin seems to weight your words and you find yourself anxious to have him believing in you.
“I mean it.”
“I know you do”, he softens. “But you are a princess. Wouldn’t you like to have all the attention?”
You smile at the male Jedi.
“There is only so little you know about me, General Skywalker.”
And that is how it starts.
***
• Anakin’s POV.
Princess Y/N is not as terrible as he’d come to think after the bad experience you both lived years ago in your late teens. Now he’s spending more time protecting you—all the whilst his men are fighting battles here and there at your planet—, he can see a side of you he never thought he’d see.
“Your jokes are terrible!”, he’s managed to be brought to laughters in one of these days you are at garden and you tell him a pun that came out of the blue. “My Maker, Lady Y/N! I’ve always thought you were a serious princess.”
As you, in turn, laugh at his remark, Anakin smiles. He notices your y/c hair, appreciating how braided your locks are in the fashion of your planet; not to mention the y/c that paints your eyes, seemingly sparkling every time they meet his blue ones.
His gaze lingers at your lips, when they open in a warm smile. What else is there to say? Oh yes, he’s always noticing the gowns you are wearing, particularly preferring the red with details in black that reinforce your curves.
But today you are dressing a silk blue gown with embroidery in white whose long sleeves exhibit your shoulders and some cleavage. Some part of the general’s thought leaves him to wonder what’s like to explore your skin with his hungry lips.
A thought that he naturally dissipates when you bring him back to life.
“You are staring too much, General”, you giggle. “What’s in your mind? My bad jokes or my bad temper?”
“Your bad temper is just an excuse to hide your bad jokes”, he teases you, before having the idea of lifting you up and tossing you over his shoulder, earning you some screams.
“Put me down, Anakin!”, you laugh out loud. “Come on!”
“So it’s Anakin now? Whatever happened to “General”? No titles?”, Anakin laughs back as he finally does what you ask him.
You two are surrounded by a long complex garden where privacy is yours. Anakin twirls you around as you suddenly dance with no music, eyes interlocked in a long gaze.
“There is no need to use titles now”, you smile at him, all the whilst a summer breeze threatens to mess with your curls. “We are friends, aren’t we?”
If this scene was told Anakin two months earlier, he’d laugh away. But the more he gets to know you, the real you, not the princess you ought to public display, the more he realizes he’d been wrong about you.
“I suppose we are now”, he chuckles lightly. “You are not entirely bad, Y/N Y/LN.”
You smirk at him.
“Neither are you, Anakin Skywalker.”
Getting lost in your eyes, Anakin seems to have found something in you…
***
• Your POV.
You don’t know how it happened. It just did. In one day you judged Anakin Skywalker as the proudest man of the galaxy, unbearable to stand. Now you cannot enjoy the idea of standing far from him.
“I was wondering if Master Skywalker may accompany me for a horseback riding”, you ask him nonchalantly after the usual meeting of a Wednesday morning. “It’s really sunny and we need a time to break.”
Anakin side smirks at you. You wish to understand more of the Jedi ways, but before you speak it loud, the prime ministers clears his throat and breaks the spell:
“With all due respect, my lady, but today we are expecting the arrival of the princes of our kingdoms. Though we may be in war, it is unwise to forget your duties.”
Your smile is wiped out of face, but you do not lose your composure as you retort:
“Don’t forget your place, prime minister. There is only one mistress here and no master. I too can command a planet like my ancestors!”
And just like that you storm out of the quarters, with Anakin not too far from you. The idea of being pressed to behave like a mare is irritating. Has someone pressed Duchess Satine of Mandalore to get married and produce sons? Certainly not. Why with you things would be different?
“Princess”, you hear the voice of Anakin calling you back, chilly. “Come here.”
You turn and he’s there for you. You could just throw yourself in his arms, but thinking to be inappropriate, you don’t.
“I’m sorry for my outburst”, you apologize as you take his hand and interlock with you.
“There is no need to apologize. I think what you did was the most correct. You are the mistress of your life. Never let anyone think you otherwise”, he tells you. “Come, let us get away from this palace for a moment.”
After a while riding in silence, enjoying the sun high in sky and listening to the birds singing, you turn your head. Before you open your mouth, Anakin speaks:
“I see you have a question to ask. Ask away.”
You put a grimace.
“You and your Jedi tricks. Why even doing so?”
He turns at you with those blue eyes.
“Because I want to hear it from you.”
You blush, but you cannot look away.
“It’s something I feel I need to know”, you apologize, somewhat disconcerted by your curiosity. “Did you love her?”
You don’t know why you feel the need to ask him such a personal question. Less so the fear of his answer. All so suddenly you wish you didn’t ask, but you must know.
An urge of your heart, silly it is, leads you to discover that one you fears the most. Before Anakin could find a way to tell you the truth, though, you panic.
You run away.
(To be continue)

Jurassic world ObiAniDala Au with
Padmè as the Park handler (CEO?). She handles the business end of things, she's the reason the park still runs. You can find Ms.Amidala ruthlessly shutting down assholes who knock at her door wanting to exploit the park for more money by cutting corners. She's amazing at her job.
At the top of all the paperwork, She's made sure the park is for the people to enjoy safely. She once chewed out a whole team of architects who wanted more va va voom enclosures that were pretty but would've ultimately been useless in containing the very huge T.Rex.
Followed by; Dino Scientist/board member ObiWan kenobi. He's got like 6 degrees , he's here to study the dinosaurs' behaviour. You can find Dr.Kenobi with a clipboard in his hand walking after one dino or the other without any care for the world. All the dinos love him, even the predators.
His face is the first thing they see when they hatch cus he's made an effort to show up for every hatching. Instant bonding tbh. Dude hangs out with the t.rex with 0 repercussions (like being eaten ya kno, nobody knows how he does it). Obiwan is also absolutely amazing at securing funding for the park from rich senators. Padmè greatly appreciates his work cus if she has to deal one more time with Clovis she's going to scream.
And finally. Trainer?Park Ranger? Mechanic? Engineer? Anakin Skywalker. Nobody really knows what his official designation is at the park. All they know is that one day this golden retriever looking guy showed up with like. 10 different qualification certificates and a dab hand at handling the dinos.
He's good at what he does tho so people leave him alone. An officer sent by the military once tried to bully anakin and quickly finds out that not only does anakin have a mean right hook, he's also high enough in the park food chain that the coruscant military is barred from trying to propose any deals after the incident.
He's got an entire creche/enrichment setup for the vulnerable babies that no one had thought of. It cut down the mortality rate of the babies by a huge amount. Its also how he won Obi-wan's heart, who until then had totally thought anakin was just some dudebro who didn't understand dinos. Anyway somewhere along the line, very intense eye-contact, a little bit of misunderstanding and a whole lot of kisses stolen when padmè is on an important holoconferance call and hand holding with obi-wan during the hatchings, Anakin woos them both.
They have late night dates at the elasmosaurus enclosure, bond over almost punching Clovis, and oh my god don't you get a heart attack when obi-wan around with little predator babies in a papoose??
Rumours have it that he was seen begging Ms.Amidala for just one (1) chance 🥺on his knees when she was meeting with Dr.Kenobi.
The door closed after that so no one really knows what Anakin was really begging for (it was so he could take an apprentice. Anakin thinks he can get away with it now because he knows obi-wan and padmè love him eheh)

hello! my name is will :)
what to expect here: it’s like half aesthetic posts and half star wars, specifically obi-wan and anakin, aka the team, with romantic obikin. i also post about ancient greece a bit, and applied my classics degree pointing out some cultural history of obikin dynamics.
i made edits of obi-wan saying “anakin” and anakin saying “master” at each other and a combo. i love to read about star wars and talk about it, esp. the revenge of the sith novel. sometimes i write meta about it all. i also collect star wars books too (more than 300 so far!)
i've also officially published more than 50 obikin stories! if you are interested in checking out what i have written, here are links and short descriptions of all my works, from novels to PWPs. i'm really proud to have reached this milestone (750k words! whew). thank you guys for all your support along the way <3
Novel-length stories:
Lex Talionis: COMPLETE Plotty, smutty, Sith AU. It’s my take on how Obi-Wan and Anakin could fall to the dark side, weaving in as much lore as I can. Force dyad, Sith’ari, Zygerria, etc. Obi-Wan and Anakin go through.. character development.. and it is dramatized in the changing way they have sex. I poured in all of my theories about metaphysics and the Force, all my knowledge about Augustus and how a Republic dies, all of my opinions about consent and agency. It has rough sex in it and some uncomfortable power dynamics that get resolved, so it is not for everyone, just a heads up. It is complete, and yes, there is a happy ending lol. War Drums: IN PROGRESS Darth Vader dies at the end of Return of the Jedi full of regret and wakes up in his 10-yr-old body after the events of the Phantom Menace. Young Obi-Wan struggles to acclimate to the death of Qui-Gon and the discovery that the boy he swore to train grew up into a Sith. Vader tries to use his knowledge to fix the galaxy and Obi-Wan uses his training to make sure they do it the right way. Anakin underwent his rite and is now an adult, galaxy beware. Murder Puppy: IN PROGRESS Obi-Wan’s decision to do more than flirt with the enemy ends up accidentally acquiring a clingy Sith acolyte, and he is tasked with holding his leash while they work together to end the war. This will probably end up around 40k so a bit shorter than the other two, which are chunkier
Core Oneshots: (my argument for the ship, basically)
Symposium: The story that started it all for me haha. I put Plato's Symposium in a word document and transformed it into a scene where Obi-Wan is forced to reconsider his relationship with Anakin, while dosed with an aphrodisiac, which leads to lines being crossed back in their hotel room. It suggests the erastēs/erōmenos dynamic that appears in much of my work. Unwrap, Wrap: Obi-Wan needs emotional hurt/comfort. This story has him fall apart, and Anakin help put him back together, after a traumatic battle late in the clone wars. Dramatizes the way that the war has muddied their roles and how much their lives are entangled. Obi-Wan gets a handjob in the shower, also, if that is relevant.
Longer Canon AUs: (8k+ words, AUs that take place in the GFFA)
Nostos: Technically a sequel to Symposium. It explores would happen if you took the dynamic established in Symposium and then put the characters in the canon end of Attack of the Clones. How would their behavior be impacted? How would the Jedi react to their decisions? Suckerpunch: Set during the Clovis arc, after Anakin had his jealous fight. Obi-Wan checks on him, and learns about both his marriage and the Tuskens. He doesn't want to lose his apprentice to the dark side, or a Senator. Ready Stance: Anakin is bored during a hyperspace journey during the clone wars, so he asks Obi-Wan to spar. Obi-Wan watches him warm up, they spar, and things escalate. This fic explores more core facets of their relationship, like the legacy teaching dynamic. Found, Fixed: Post-Zygerria Obi-Wan hurt/comfort. It’s similar to Unwrap, Wrap, except it’s told from Anakin’s POV and is much more explicit. It’s one of my rare bottom!Obi-Wan fic, he gets taken care of and comforted from being whumped so hard by the show. Anakin Sucks: Anakin has an oral fixation and it drives Obi-Wan to distraction over the course of the Clone Wars, 5+1 crack taken very seriously lol Make War: show!era Obi-Wan after fighting Vader on Mapuzo shares a dream with him while suspended in bacta. Warning for noncon!! Now with a second chapter set after their near miss on Jabiim. Third chapter based on the kenobi show finale hopefully will be out soon!
A/B/O Stories: (AUs that have this squicky trope, all set in GFFA)
Warm Blood: A/B/O fic that people seem to enjoy. Features omega Anakin having a suppressant failure on the battlefield and going into heat. Alpha Obi-Wan has to fight his way to him, and then tries to resist his instincts—until Anakin confesses his true feelings. Run Away With Me: A/B/O sequel to Warm Blood, tells the story of what happened after the mating, how they left the Jedi and what they’ve been doing. Anakin is preparing to go into heat, and Obi-Wan is helping him nest. Set during Revenge of the Sith, though they don’t know what’s happening in their isolation. Temporary Like Achilles: A/B/O fic. Alpha Obi-Wan is drugged by Dathomirian Nightsisters into a feral state, omega Anakin finds and rescues him. It's a fuck or die with feelings and ultimately a happy ending. Heat Haze: A/B/O fic. Alpha Obi-Wan is living alone on Tatooine, 10yrs post Mustafar. Omega Anakin is about to go into his first heat, and is searching for his mother during the Attack of the Clones. The Force shifts Anakin into the future, bringing the two together in time for Anakin’s heat to begin. Heat Shimmer: A/B/O fic. Alpha Obi-Wan is on Geonosis during Attack of the Clones, investigating. Preheat omega Darth Vader is on Geonosis 13 years later, and the Force decides to move him back in time for his heat. They fight, but it's impossible to fight some insticts. Give Up, Give In: A/B/O fic. Qui-Gon lived AU. Omega Obi-Wan is dosed with a heat inducer during a mission. Alpha Anakin who has loved the older Knight forever doesn’t handle that very well. Ends with Service Top Anakin, a favorite of mine
Longer Modern AUs: (8k+ words, developed AUs that attempt to model the canon dynamic in everyday life)
My Anankē: Classics AU is built on the premise that Obi-Wan would never break the rules re: teacher/student fraternization. He would rather endure years of mutual pining than act inappropriately. Once Anakin’s graduated though, that’s a different story. These are oneshots telling the story of their relationship. It is not told in chronological order, so each one basically opens up another window into their lives. Soulbound: Obi-Wan is a bossy lawyer who plays World of Warcraft. Anakin is an insecure veteran who is in Obi-Wan’s guild and drives him insane. They meet randomly in a bar, and Obi-Wan realizes that Anakin acts the way he does because he likes to be bossed around—so he bosses him around. Zone of Truth: Obi-Wan basically helped raise Anakin through being his Big Brother mentor through a local gaming shop, eventually teaching him to drive and getting him an internship etc. Anakin graduates college and Obi-Wan turns into a ghost, for very good reasons, it turns out. Anakin’s betrayed him, and he’s betrayed himself.
Shorter Smutty AUs: (shorter stories, canon + AUs)
Snap, Crackle, Pop: Padawan Anakin gets braid tugging and spanking after behaving very badly during the Battle of Muunilinst early in the Clone Wars. Tilted: Anakin wakes up after Mortis in a female body and hides, struggling to come to terms with the change. Obi-Wan comes to check on him and reassure him, smut ensues. Make Your Siren’s Call: show!era Obi-Wan struggles to fall asleep in the cave from the photoshoot, and dreams about his old apprentice, full of guilt, angst, and smut Stress Relief: Sith-like/Dom!Obi-Wan is rough on eager!Anakin in their Temple apartment, plays on Master/Padawan dynamic. Unperishing Glory: Homeric AU, Anakin is Achilles-type Chosen One and Obi-Wan is his Patroclus-type mentor-friend, angsty sex Murder Puppy: Playful!Obi-Wan seduces raisedSith!Anakin during a duel, bringing him back to the light during sex. People seem to really like this one, it is one of the things I get the most asks about. I have plans for a short story to expand, it’s on the WIP list I promise. Unwelcome Guest: An AU where Obi-Wan couldn't strike Anakin down on Mustafar. Suitless!Vader comes to find him on Tatooine, and wants to be punished for mistakes, there is spanking involved. Rosetta Stone: Based on the Mummy, an AU where Obi-Wan is a librarian and Anakin is a former soldier, and they defeated a mummy together. Obi-Wan is oblivious and repressed, so Anakin has to be very forward. Safe as Houses: Based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Anakin is the slayer and Obi-Wan is his Giles-like librarian watcher. Anakin seeks Obi-Wan out in crisis and Obi-Wan takes care of him. The Outlander: Obi-Wan fell to the dark on Naboo AU, so Qui-Gon is Anakin’s Master instead. Anakin sneaks out of the Temple to a club to meet possessive Obi-Wan, there is smut against a wall outside, and Anakin falls to the dark side. Please, Daddy?: Daddy kink fic. Features a bratty Anakin, sex pheromones, spanking and just general daddy!filth. A New Hope: Anakin never left Tatooine AU. He becomes a Han Solo-type pilot who helps a rebel!Obi-Wan escape the Empire. He’s a touch starved, praise starved, virgin who’s insecure about his missing hand. Obi-Wan takes good care of him. Communication, What Communication: Organized Crime AU with collegeStudent!Anakin and accidentalSugarDaddy!Obi-Wan, gratitude kink haha. This fic has been picked up and turned into the phenomenal multichapter story Recoil and Ricochet by @wernnaa.
Potidaea, 432BC: Alcibiades!Anakin and his tutor Socrates!Obi-Wan fight together in the phalanx. Armor kink and period-accurate intercrural sex ensue lol. Minikin and Tiny-Wan: Fluff and crack based on the premise that there are tiny figurines of the Jedi that are alive (kind of like the little dragons in the goblet of fire). Obi-Wan and Anakin each get one, and their Tinys enjoy each other’s company, leading to an awkward but useful conversation. #BinGate: Great British Bake Off AU, Anakin is a contestant who lost his temper and destroyed his bake, Obi-Wan is a judge who enjoys scolding Anakin. Let Me, Master: Padawan Obi-Wan, shy demisexual Master Anakin, Obi-Wan throws caution to the wind and finally seduces his clueless Master, smut ensues with bottom Obi-Wan. Anakin, Duke of Vader, Prince of Coruscant: Anakin is a bratty, troubled prince and Obi-Wan is his unimpressed knight bodyguard. Anakin cries, showing true vulnerability, and Obi-Wan realizes he has a kink for that lmao Sic Transit Gloria Mundi: Sexually frustrated after sparring with his Master, Anakin decides to visit the glory hole in the locker room. Little does he know, he’s not the only one. Boy Toy: Obi-Wan is a fashion designer and Anakin is a first time model. They’ve just finished a boytoy themed photoshoot and get trapped together in an elevator Brotherhood: Anakin is a college student in a spiral after the death of his mother, and his father Qui-Gon left for a trip, leaving his much older step-brother Obi-Wan, who he doesn't know very well, in charge. Obi-Wan picks Anakin up from jail, and the argument goes places. Hard Racing: Anakin is a Formula 1 driver and Obi-Wan is his team principal. After an accident at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix where he ran into his teammate, he is sore, tired, and afraid of getting demoted from his spot. Obi-Wan comes to his hotel to reassure him of his value to him and the team. Beer and Paint: Obi-Wan and Anakin are both apprentices to famous artist Qui-Gon. Anakin has tattoos/piercings/blue streak in his hair, and Obi-Wan is obsessed. Sloppy art and drunk sex ensue.
Smutty +F fic AUs: (short fics that includes Padmé or Ventress)
Très Lecherous: Padmé and Obi-Wan agree to share subby!Anakin, this fic is all three together, and includes DP if that is your jam. Blue Shadow Virus: continuation of above AU, Padmé almost died on Naboo and Anakin doesn’t take it well. Obi-Wan and Padmé dom him into relaxing Post-Revenge: Set after the episode of TCW where Ventress rescues Obi-Wan from Maul and Savage. This is only Ventress/Obi-Wan, but Anakin is extremely present in the fact that Ventress uses Obi-Wan's secret feelings for Anakin to incite him into hate sex. Plus Anakin Makes 3: Sort of a sequel to the Post-Revenge fic, Anakin discovers Obi-Wan and Ventress having a tryst, decides to participate rather than freak out, so more DP haha.
Collaborations: (stories i co-authored with friends)
Apartment Story: Post-Deception arc reconciliation fic, where Obi-Wan is drunk and Anakin is angry. Feelings are revealed, and comfort, understanding and smut ensues. Written with my friend @whohatessandas a RP and adapted into a story. Satellite Mind: What would happen if Obi-Wan could hear Anakin’s thoughts? Spoiler: it does not go well. Set during the last few days of the clone wars, and tracks how their relationship combusted over Anakin’s secrets. Written with @theseptemberist.

So, this is just me ranting about how much i do not like Anakin and Padme as both couple and individuals, but mostly as a couple. Long post
No hate to anyone who likes them, or for the actors who had play them, nor to George Lucas who created them. Let's start.
1. How they met
So The Phantom Menace starts. Padme is elected Queen of Naboo, and the Trade Federation is attacking the Planet, long story short cuz we all know it already, she has to run away but get stuck in a far planet. There she meets 9yo Anakin who is a slave, he's kinda smart and capable with machines. They help him win a race and the boy is set free but his mother has to stay behind. He's sad cuz he miss his mother and finds a good friend in Padme. Until there all is cool, they are both children.
2. Where their relationship really starts.
10 years had passed. Anakin is 19 and Padme is 24. He's send to protect her. They arrived in Naboo and when Padme is just trying to help with the situation Anakin starts to underestimate her and gets angry every time she shows him he needs her to be a succesful mission, I know he's a jedi and he may be the one to know better about protecting people, but if he really knew better he would know that a person that has live there for years is going to know better than him and he just seems angry and proud and can barely bring himself to admit she knows better than him. Then they get into a picnic and spend a good day just talking and playing, BUT Anakin literally started sharing VERY authoritarian and f*cist views and Padme is just like “you are so funny”. First time Padme ignores Anakin being abussive, or possesive or violent or any other toxic behavior. He kisses her and then a few hours later he literally says to her “I'm in agony for the kiss you should have never given to me” if that's not manipulative behavior i don't know what it is, she tries to tell Anakin to think clear and send him away, but then a few days later, Anakin commits his first massacre of women and children and admited to her all that and she's just like “to be angry is to be human”. She literally saw him in one of his most violent behaviors and just shoved it away. Second time Padme ignores Anakin violent behavior. They leave Tatooine, fight side by side, survived and married each other a few days later. Padme literally marry Anakin just days after he tells her he killed children.
3. The Clone Wars.
They have good moments and they had bad moments. But then a year or two had passed and Padme is helping fighting the war within the senate. Things happens and Clovis comes back to Padme's life. He lies and she believes him. Things scalate and she starts working with Clovis, at this Anakin literally tells her “as your husband I demand”, he may be right about Clovis, he was not one to trust, maybe Padme was wrong, but thinking that cuz you are married to someone you can demand something from the other is just wrong. First time Anakin despites Padme's work. Things gets even worst when Clovis tries to kiss Padme and Anakin walks in the middle of it. He was right to be angry and to get him away from her. BUT what was not right is him going full Vader mode trying to kill him, the moment he hears Padme asking him/them to stop, Anakin points at her and says “YOU DON'T HAVE A SAY IN THIS”, he doesn't care about Padme or protecting her or respecting her, it was about him and his jelousy, it was him, saying “she's mine, you are mine”. He never even asked her if she's right, he even thinks she was part of this, that she was cheating on him. Then Padme tells him a bunch of truths but it's for nothing cuz a few days she forgets everything and forgives Anakin. Third time Padme forgives Anakin toxic behavior.
3. Anakin fall.
So, Anakin is back in Coruscant after being away for a while. Padme waits for him and they reunite. Padme tells him she's pregnant and regardless of what many post says about Anakin smiling when he realizes he's going to be a father, he literally has the worst look ever, he's worried and even upset at what Padme is saying and he only pulls up a smile when he realizes she's looking at him and waiting for his reaction.

Then, they go back home, he gets nightmares about Padme dying, and he is worried about her, of course, any partner would be worried too. But what's not okay is that, he doesn't care about his child, he never thinks about the baby when he's seeing Padme die in childbirth. He only mentions their child until Padme asks him about the baby, and he only answer “I don't know” he doesn't even question himself about them, again, he just cracks a smile and sweet words when he sees Padme worry about the things they talked. Days pass by and Padme asked Anakin to speak to the Chancellor in good faith to stop the war so they can start fixing everything that is bad and Anakin snaps at her with “dont ask me to do that, do it yourself in the senate”, so, he gets to demand but she doesn't get to ask something from him? What a man Anakin Skywalker is. Second time Anakin desdain Padme's work. Sith happens and starts Order 66, he doesn't leave a single soul alive. Not even the children. He comes back fully turned and tells Padme he's leaving on a mission. Obi Wan goes and talk with Padme telling her everything, he literally tells her “Anakin killed children” and she answers “he wouldn't” when she knew he would CUZ ANAKIN LITERALLY TOLD HER HE ALREADY SLAUGHTER CHILDREN BEFORE. Fourth time Padme ignores Anakin violent behavior. She reproches Obi Wan he just wants to kill him like OF COURSE, he had literally massacre in cold blood hundreds of man, women and children, he's fully dark side mode and he's still the most powerful force sensitive being. At this point Anakin deserves to die, he needs to die cuz he could literally bring the entire galaxy down if he wanted and she knows, and still she doesn't care about anyone else but him and her (I mean of course having to accept your husband and father of your unborn children needs to face consecuences for his actions is hard but after all the inocent blood he droped i think any good soul would accept it as hard as it would be).
Then she runs to him, Padme tells Anakin everything Obi Wan told her about him, and he never denied it. So Padme starts yo realizes the true, now she knows it was all true, and even after she knows that Anakin massacre children and his fellow men and women, she stills asks a children-murderer-Sith to “run away with her and HELPS HER TO RAISE THEIR CHILD” who in their sane minds would ask a man who AGAIN, killed children to help her raise their baby? WHO? Fifth time Padme is willing to ignore Anakin's violence. Sith happens and Anakin thinks again she lies and chokes her. No matter what, a healthy couple would never end in one trying to kill the other, NO MATTER WHAT. Anakin choking Padme was just his last violent, toxic and possesive act against her.
Then to conclude everything, she goes into labor and Luke and Leia are born. But she's heart broken for Anakin, she's so heartbroken she doesn't want to live, cuz everything that happened. And for the ones who would say “you can't blame Padme for dying” the medical droid literally said she was fine but she didn't wanted to live anymore. She was more worried about Anakin “wheres Anakin?” than for her child(ren). Her last words are not even for her children, they are for Anakin, she literally believe there was still light in a man who literally had his hands wet with children blood. I do believe Padme didn't really care about her children, she barely gives them names but is never concerned about their wellbeing or anything.
And don't get me wrong, I can understand people losing every sanity they had left after Order 66
Ahsoka was attacked by her own men, men she saw as her brothers, good friends, who fought side by side with her, who help her train, she barely get out alive, and she had to see how all these good men were turned to puppets, had to see how every man died, not even as free men, and it took her 1-2 years to step back into the fight.
Obi Wan same thing, he had to see how men he trusted turned against him and try to kill him, only to come back and see one of the people behind all this crimes is the young man he had trained since he was just a little boy, even with all his pain he is willing to fight Anakin, maybe not kill him cuz he thinks leaving him burned was going to be enough to stop him, but he literally fight him, he has to see how his family was slaughter, how his home was burned down and how his brother betrays him and them all, and it took him 10 years to step back into the fight and overcome his grieve.
Bail Organa, the man saw as the Clones attacked the Jedi Temple, saw it burning, saw how they killed a child as he couldn't do anything to stop it, he saw his life work falling into pieces as he wasn't able to stop it, and he never stoped fighting, the moment he scaped the Temple, he jumps into help any jedi he can find, rescued Yoda and Obi Wan, helps Yoda scape from Darth Sidious, and helps Padme get medical treatment, he jumps in to adopt an orphan baby, and just a couple days later he offers Ahsoka help and comfort. Months pass, years pass and he never quited the fight, he always kept going, he never stoped, even when even a year after Order 66 he still dealing with trauma.
