I always get a nice little wake up call whenever I’m about to take my dog on a hike.
It doesn’t matter what I start doing in the direction of getting us ready, the man is psychic… he knows. 
And without fail, he starts whining… and he will proceed to wine until we get in the car.
The entire time I witness the narrative I have with him.
“I need to do x, y, z, first before we go…”
“We aren’t meeting so-and-so until 10:00, we’ll leave in 30 minutes.”
“Relax, let me finish putting on my shoes.”
When the plan is in motion, we are going hiking… and if you know me, no amount of whining is going to make my Taurus ass move any faster.
And it makes me think every time, this is probably how I sound to the Universe when I’m trying to manifest something.
It’s always a great wake up call, that no amount of worrying, pushing, or let’s be honest… whining… is going to change when or how a manifestation shows up.
Everything is always perfectly on time, every time.

"Mindful Moments: Pathways to Peace and Healthier Habits"
This title captures the essence of my writings, focusing on the transformative power of mindfulness and meditation practices in fostering health and well-being.
According to renowned authors Daniel Goleman and Richard Davidson, achieving significant positive changes through meditation requires more than just short daily sessions over an extended period. Essential components such as intelligent practice, including feedback from a skilled instructor and fostering a less attached self-perspective, are critical! These crucial elements are frequently absent in commonly used mind-training methods.
2. As mindfulness practice develops, it may begin to enhance motivation for change. It does this by affecting processes of reward, associative and extinction learning, and habit formation. This shift helps move behaviour from unhealthy to healthier habits. This has implications for the prevention and treatment of chronic medical and psychiatric illnesses by promoting healthier lifestyle behaviours.
3. There is the direct connection between your lips and the parasympathetic nervous system. Gently touch or kiss your lips, even at your desk, to experience a surprisingly calming effect. Combat the "fight or flight" mode by paying attention to your breath. Engage your diaphragm in your breath to stimulate the vagus nerve, activating the parasympathetic nervous system and promoting a calming effect.
4. Suddenly, you realize how complex life is, more than you thought. You feel that something is missing. You know it's not easy to recreate yourself from scratch. We need a guide. We need ancient wisdom. And for me, mindfulness is that guide. You become more aware. Out of that awareness comes peace. Out of peace emerge better decisions. Bit by bit. Mindfulness isn't just meditation. Over time, it extends to everything a person does in life.
5. If I speak in fragments, then I am not mindful. If my colleague doesn't remember what I told him yesterday, and it happens five times in a row, talk to him. I have undergone training for conducting psychological HR interviews. Moreover, personality tests are useful if we know how to use them. I know how to use several key ones. I don't like "dark psychology." That's why I avoid giving diagnoses. However, it's crucial to recognize early if a person is suffering. That's a completely different story.
6. Are you caring for three cats in the yard? If a fourth intruder sneaks in, there's no chance it can slip through. It's the same with thoughts. But if we have feline 'mindfulness.' But, let's not overdo it. Not all thoughts are always original. But sometimes, a sneaky intruder slips in. If we're mindful, we'll recognize it. A colleague comes in with something important to say. Do we already have a prepared response? That's not mindfulness. When we're "mindful," words take on colours. There's no chance we'll mix up beige and yellow.
7. I have my own method. It's not a big deal, but I plan to publish it, partly doing so here. After 10 minutes of meditation, I listen to mindful lectures. I set a stopwatch for 3 minutes. When the alarm goes off, I calmly inhale and ask myself, "What did I hear for these 3 minutes?" And so on, five more times. In addition to that, I occasionally attend sangha meetings.
