I have a weird question but if you could choose ANY character from ANY fandom (ocs included if you have any idk) who do you think would be the best yandere for your specific tastes?

Live are they super possessive or more like the stalk you without you knowing type? Or will they murder everyone close to you or leave them be unless they hurt you?

Or would they be a more platonic yandere with more minuscule negative traits???

Ohhhhhh boy, uhh,,, I have an unfortunately easy answer here. XD

Though I dislike the story itself for a number of reasons, Yoon Bum from a particularly well-known dark comic series is remarkably suited to my taste in characters... and I'm pretty sure he qualifies as yandere, right?

To give a more trait-based description; an obsessive, desperate, pathetic little freak who'd never be the slightest threat to me. I want them to be more afraid of me than I'd ever think to be of them, with so many issues (and trauma!!!) that any yandere behavior is more pitifully useless than potentially dangerous. :)

Because I'm VERY aroace, I also greatly enjoy the dynamic of "pathetic little freak who's violently in love with me, without the slightest hope of reciprocation". It's cute~

sieg, gras and eins are all walking living 湯たんぽ : when they (inevitably) come around while you're feeling down, varying excuses will fly with different degrees of huffiness til they are lifting your blanket and crawling under the soft covers. you'll be quick to fall asleep wrapped up in the comfort of steady warmth and gentle, chaste hands. ( sieg is a cute tsundere who has a hearty meal ready when you wake ; gras shoves his irrational fear and rage at intimacy while telling himself it's more than alright to hold you ; eins is a guard dog for the entire duration of your discomforts ) hope you get well Liz and sorry I submitted this so late!

Gras spends a while trying to make it horny. Orgasms are good for period pain, right? When that clearly does no good, he's a very grouchy pillow from then on, desperately trying to pretend like he's just doing this because he expects it to end in sex... while even more desperately fighting his reflexive panic because intimacy.

Eins is slightly distressed because this is a problem that he can't fix, but the vague feeling of uselessness goes away once he assumes the duty of weighted blanket-slash-heating pad. He's also good at keeping the other guns in line while I'm too miserable for that job.

And Sieg, yeah, he's going full housewife mode. It's an excuse to do that kind of thing without being made fun of for it he hopes, and anyway, the temptation of taking care of a Master he's actually attached to gets him no matter how tsun he tries to act. He's VERY tsun about it, of course, but still obviously trying soooo hard. Good boy just wants to be useful to his Master.

The self-insert stuff was a while ago, but I'm in a DL mood tonight (working on fic, yayyy), I have a nasty migraine, and I'm debatably incoherent enough not to care what I type. So.... asks are good. Self-insert asks are good. I'm gonna answer thingsssss. :D

My first instinct is to say it would be either Ayato or Kanato because their "need a new mom very badly" vibes are strong, but as I've thought about it, I think the first one to slip up could and should be Reiji. Partially because that would be cute and hilarious, and partially because if I'm there praising him for things and giving off intense mom energy, I like to think something in his constantly near a nervous breakdown little brain is going to crack. We all know Reiji wants someone to be proud of him. And imagine his reaction.

Ayato and Kanato would still be high on the list, though. And if we're talking about more than the Sakamaki— Azusa. That boy has no shame. Someone says I'm "acting like a mom", and now that the thought is in his head, Azusa is ready and willing to accept his new parent... and insistent that his brothers do the same thing, much to their displeasure. Azusa is fine with this. He likes having a mom now.

Another high candidate is Kino, because he's a needy brat altogether, and also doesn't seem to have the best brain-to-mouth filter. Either that or he does it to be sarcastic, then realizes (too late) that he might have meant it more than he wanted to. Poor thing.

I am back with another completely random and frankly stupid question because why not?!? If you yourself had to choose any of the characters you have written a pet au on from demon slayer to actually be your pet and have to deal with their problems, who would it be? Who would you be strongly opposed to taking home?

In terms of irl pets, my most precious and beloved creature was Biby, the world's grouchiest and most tsundere ragdoll. Her personality was awful. For the first ten years of her life, she'd growl and hiss and throw a fit every time I held her... then stare at me like "why did you stop? >:(" as soon as she was released.

So if we use that as a reference for what kind of Pet Au demon I'd do well with... I think it would be Sanemi or Genya. XD The whole "total grouch who's also the sweetest baby ever" deal was what endeared Biby to me, so it's reasonable to say I'd like that in a demon too.

As for what would be a complete nope, hmmm... I'm not sure? A pet that's too independent/low maintenance would probably be difficult, I guess. With my cats at least, I love the needy ones.

It took a while, but I finally made a complete reference for my NMH self insert 'Shallow Candy'!

This is actually a redesign of Shallow, and honestly I am vastly more happy with this new design over the old one. I had a lot of fun designing her! Below cut is some more details about her!

some details that are important to know:

has a big sweet tooth. please be wary of any confectionery you leave in your house.

she's autistic and has narcolepsy (with cataplexy)!

has space-time, portal creation and gravitational generation powers. she's not an expert with these powers and is still trying to control them. but the fact she has them does make her a unpredictable opponent to fight.

reason for her low UAA ranking is that she isn't the most active assassin in the organisation (which sometimes forgets she exists lol). that said she's not a pushover either!

good friends with bishop and travis. they have video game and movie nights together :3

has a big giant crush on henry cooldown, oops sorry travis.

THANK YOUUUU!! This will be one big ramble, but—

First of all, I would NOT stand for the gunboys getting abused like they do. Yes, I am very much a sadist, but the cruel shit only applies to fiction. With actual, living people (...or guns), there has to be consent before I get mean. And what's done to the boys, both by handlers and each other, is not okay. >:(

I think Herme would have that like, anime "internal shattered glass of shock" moment if I scolded him. One I'm very disappointed in you from Master does him in; he's used to being perfect, after all. Dreyse is also the type to snap to obey orders, so I doubt I'd get more than a second of protest if I ordered him to back off. Apparently I'm very scary when I'm angry (as Stephen says), so uh. Don't think the gunboys would like having that directed at them.

Sieg is getting PRAISE from me, absolutely. I want to tell him everything he does well and how proud I am of his efforts... and watch his brain short-circuit a little in response. He doesn't hear nice things very often, and we all know he'd be weak to that.

I just wanna see him flustered and slightly panicked about it. XD

Here are some of my self inserts.

   You’re probably already well-acquainted with the first two, maybe even the third, but the last ones I’ve barely talked about.

   Originally, I was going to add three more, but I haven’t actually designed them yet, so I didn’t want to design a character AND draw them out for this at the same time.

(S/Is brief explanation listed below the cut. From left to right, top to bottom)

1. Copycat - My Marvel Comics S/I.    He primarily exists in his own continuity I call ‘The Copyverse’ (Which is based on early-MCU, Ultimate Spiderman, and a few other versions of the Marvel universe + My own interpretations.) 

   He’s a shapeshifter who’s the son of literal Death and was assassinated by a drug lord to get access to his powers. He follows Loki as their assistant at first after empathizing with them, but they grow a friendship that ends up turning into a mutual pining mess.

2. Plague Rat - My DC Comics/Batman S/I.    He’s an explosive-happy pyromaniac who was...basically kidnapped by a group of scientists after getting accidentally injected with rat stem cells. The ensuing experiments left him with abilities over pest animals and disease.

   Before he was kidnapped, he met and subsequently bonded with Jonathan Crane, aka, ‘The Scarecrow’. This bond eventually became romantic in nature.

3. [Still doesn’t have a name, oops.] - My Slasher S/I.    An artist who was raised in an abusive household with his witch-sister. After the death of his childhood pet cat, his sister tried to use her magic to bring it back to life, but it went horribly wrong, resulting in the S/I absorbing his cat’s essence, gaining an extremely high prey drive, predatory instincts, and cat-like abilities. (He also has the ability to transform into a were-cat, but let’s not worry about that-) 

   After his sister left, he started taking his aggression and prey drive out on local wildlife, leading to his religious parents locking him in the attic for being a ‘devil child’. His parents...mysteriously disappeared after that. Leading to his sister inheriting the house and discovering him still there. I use him occasionally for Blahms and Blakael stuff, but it’s mostly just ordinary me, lol.

4. Vulpenire - My Cuphead S/I.    A vampire fox who made a deal with the devil to gain the abilities of the stars. He can turn into a fox constellation, shoot stars, and has basic vampire powers as well. (He also has a hidden mouth on his tail, but let’s not worry about that-)

   He becomes one of the Devil’s lackeys as a result of the deal, and is originally seen as a rival by King Dice. Dice eventually realizes though, that Vulpen doesn’t want his position, and ends up developing a bond with him after he decidedly starts bothering him to take better care of himself.

5. [Another without a proper differentiate-able name] - My Arcane S/I.    A man who approached Viktor during a big celebration looking for an interview. They quickly ended up getting along, as Viktor found that he had some interesting ideas for Hextech. This more or less ended up turning...you guessed it, romantic. Eventually, though, Blake disappeared. 

   An accident occurred leading to his disappearance, so he replaced his missing parts with mechanics. (He lost parts of his face, limbs, and had to replace his spine.) The accident also left him with gaps in his memory due to how traumatic it was.

  When he returned after the events of Arcane, he looked like he does in the picture, attempting to steal some of the Hextech. Turns out, he was in the custody of Silco all that time, developing a sibling-like bond with Jinx in the background.

6. Kabel - My ‘The Dragon Prince’ S/I.    A Human/SkyWing elf hybrid created using Dark Magic. Because of the nature of his creation, he’s able to use Dark Magic and Sky Magic, while not needing to sacrifice to use Dark magic for the most part... or at least that’s what they assume. Though that isn’t entirely true. 

   Aaravos concocts a test at one point, hiding a magic creature under Kabel’s bed, and finding it dead with all it magic sucked out of it the next morning. Kabel, essentially, is a magic vampire, siphoning magic from any magical creature he sleeps around without realizing it in order to keep himself alive and also in order to fuel his ability to use dark magic.

   Aaravos and him start with Aaravos using Kabel’s near-instant crush on him as leverage, but Aaravos slowly ends up being endeared by him to the point of actually returning his feelings.
