ब्रह्म तथा ब्रह्मा में भेद - एक ब्रह्माण्ड में बने सर्वोपरि स्थान पर ब्रह्म (क्षर पुरुष) स्वयं तीन गुप्त स्थानों की रचना करके ब्रह्मा, विष्णु तथा शिव रूप में रहता है तथा अपनी पत्���ी प्रकृति (दुर्गा) के सहयोग से तीन पुत्रों की उत्पत्ति करता है। उनके नाम भी ब्रह्मा, विष्णु तथा शिव ही रखता है। जो ब्रह्म का पुत्र ब्रह्मा है वह एक ब्रह्माण्ड में केवल तीन लोकों (पृथ्वी लोक, स्वर्ग लोक तथा पाताल लोक) में एक रजोगुण विभाग का मंत्री (स्वामी) है। इसे त्रिलोकीय ब्रह्मा कहा है तथा ब्रह्म जो ब्रह्मलोक में ब्रह्मा रूप में रहता है उसे महाब्रह्मा व ब्रह्मलोकीय ब्रह्मा कहा है। इसी ब्रह्म (काल) को सदाशिव, महाशिव, महाविष्णु भी कहा है।

A friend of mine left me these absolutely gorgeous Peonies and I spent some time trying to catch their beauty this morning. The photographs don’t come close to their exquisite nature but I wanted to share them here before they wilted away. If you haven’t ever looked at/in/around a flower before, you should. There are secrets and mysteries abound! . . . Poem by Mary Oliver This morning the green fists of the peonies are getting ready to break my heart as the sun rises, as the sun strokes them with his old, buttery fingers and they open — pools of lace, white and pink — and all day the black ants climb over them, boring their deep and mysterious holes into the curls, craving the sweet sap, taking it away to their dark, underground cities — and all day under the shifty wind, as in a dance to the great wedding, the flowers bend their bright bodies, and tip their fragrance to the air, and rise, their red stems holding all that dampness and recklessness gladly and lightly, and there it is again — beauty the brave, the exemplary, blazing open. Do you love this world? Do you cherish your humble and silky life? Do you adore the green grass, with its terror beneath?
