What is one supposed to do after defeating God, bringing your best friend back to life (again) and confessed your love for him, resurrecting half of your family, AND gaining 2 sons with an almost 25 year age gap between them?
Well, that's what Dean Winchester is trying to figure out. He feels himself being pulled in different directions, and he's scared he's going to be pulled apart at theseasms. He feels the need to continue with the family business and help Sam with his dream, the Hunters Network. But a part of him, and that part grows bigger and louder each day, wants something completely new and different
He has something he never dared to even allow himself to dream-a family of his own. Ben is here and ready to be a family. He understood why Dean wiped his memory and doesn't hold it against him because he did it to save them, and he knows how hard it was. Then there's Jack, the 3-year-old ball of energy that's living his best life. He's a handful, but Dean cherishes every chaotic moment.
And then there was him. His angel that had, quite literally, fallen from him.

Okay, I have been holding-off on writing anything about the current season of Ninjago for a while now. But now that I've actually finished it, I feel like this is something that I just have to get out of my system. So for those of you who want to keep this spoiler-free, I'm going to put everything else under the cut, so: FAIR WARNING!
Maybe this is just me, but after watching the ending, does anyone else feel like Crystalized is just...a bad season? I mean, over-all, the story itself is a little too drawn out for 10-ish minute episodes, and they're packing them full of information and plot, and it just feels a little too disorganized to me. It's like they had a bunch of ideas for an absolute ton of shorts and little snippets, and instead of pushing most of them of them aside, they just decided to add them all together!
And to top it all off, they just completely abandoned the plot of the first half of the season after they picked it back up from the mid-season! It's just a complete rush-job that feels way too much like the ending of Game of Thrones!
I mean, I now have to reassess weather Skybound and/or Hands of Time should be the weakest! Because, lets face it; Skybound had the same kind of rushed ending, and Hands of Time was just trying to pack too many things into it at once as well. But at least they didn't end up as much of an inconsistent hot-mess like Crystalized!
And yes, I know that this is supposed to be a series finale; but so was March of the Oni, and THAT one actually felt way more like they had wrapped things up than what happened here! And that's not even touching on the fact that they just dropped how the ninja are still technically fugitives; the mayor is missing and the new ninja, along with Ronin and the other escapees are MIA! I mean, are they dead? Still corrupted? In a coma? HOW COULD THEY JUST LEAVE THESE THINGS UNANSWERED?! 🤬
The writers had something great going with focusing on creating original story-lines, but taking everything from the weakest seasons and putting a new coat of paint on the worst parts without doing ANYTHING to actually address them only does a disservice to the fans, the writers and the studio who this was supposed to be a grand send-off for!

Chapter 3: You don’t have to be ruled by fate. You can choose freedom
Rating: Mature

“I never thought he’d get this, and I definitely never thought I’d get to see it. He’s going to be a great dad, Cas. He was to me, a great dad, mom, older brother, and whatever else I needed.”
They watched together as Dean tossed Jack onto the bed. Jack was back up on his feet and was in the air, arms wrapped around Dean’s neck and legs around his torso. Dean “fell” towards the bed and turned so he landed on his back; Jack now sitting on him. Cas laughed before running to the other side of the bed.
“1!” he slapped the bed. “2! 3! We have a winner! Jack Winchester!!”

A short and fluffy chapter. Our boys have a lot of trauma and issues to work through, and this is where it starts. A new chapter will be posted this week, my goal is Wednesday. I'm going to try and post a new chapter each weekend, if it's a short one I'll post the next one a few days later.

I have a guilty pleasure of associating myself in the same league as Chuck Shurly from Supernatural, mainly because...
I'll include a keep reading for those who need to finish the series/want to finish the series and don't want any spoilers:
I love Chuck as a character because as we know, he is introduced as a prophet of the lord, he "visualizes" Dean and Sam going on their adventures to end the apocalypse and says "obviously I'm a God"
Tumblr media
Because we see that he is making these prophecies into books to sell to the public, stopping at when Dean goes to hell, but allows them to get leaked later on by Becky, whom we grow to love and hate.
But no, I'm not talking about this version of Chuck. I'm talking about the one where we learn that Chuck is in fact God, the father of the Angels, the man Cas used Dean's necklace to find, but couldn't and in turn "went to a liquor store and drank it".
I'm talking about the God that didn't want to face Amara, thought humans were failures, and felt that Lucifer didn't deserve an apology because Lucifer spoke back to him.
But, I'm going further and not saying I'm connection to that version of Chuck either. I connect to the final boss God, the one where he snaps his fingers and Jack, his own grandson, dies in a his own angelic light in the eyes, mouth and nose way. I'm talking about the God who tells Castiel, his son, that he is a writer, and what do we do?
Tumblr media
We lie.
I'm connecting to that God, not because of the lying, but that fact that we curve the truth in our stories to make the world out own, and if it doesn't go our way, we make the main characters, our favorite characters by the way, suffer. Making new problems, snapping our fingers and letting the characters figure it out as they go. But they aren't figuring it out. We are writing their issues, their solutions and then the problems to those solutions.
We put our versions of Sam and Dean into their hamster wheel as we write the story.
I connect to this version of God because, yes he did the unspoken rule and inserted himself into the story, but he changed the story to go his way. And in his case, and ours sometimes too, the characters write themselves out of the narrative, or they write themselves a new ending that we don't know how to cope with. How to write, and like Chuck for most of season 15, we throw away the story and go back to the most interesting one and watch it burn. Watch our Sams and Deans suffer because we're maniacs.
Because we lived long enough to see ourselves become the villain of their worlds.
And, truth be told. I'm okay with that because I like this side of me. My Chuck side where my favorite characters kill, die and do their thing, because it's our story. And since we don't insert ourselves into the narrative, they can't fight back and kick us when we're down.

watching spn is wild because every time satan's aunt or something pops up they have to come up with a plan and it's always like. attempt genocide on the angels. open up an ancient portal to the place monsters go when they die. literally just try to kill death. (this one happened more than once with two different incarnations of death) take on the makes-you-want-to-kill-everything curse. absorb thousands of dead souls and turn yourself into a ghost bomb
and every time without fail they're like surely this will have no consequences whatsoever. like no fucking wonder there's been like 8 apocalypses you caused half of them, you guys are batshit insane and youre running purely off of beer adderall and coffee. crowley's the only one who comes up with any logical plans and half the time he's not even on their side. at this point maybe god was right to try and kill you
