Here I go Valentino

So i'm horribly ill right now but wanted to post at least one WIP before i paint this guy. I was allowed to steal the whole pose/composition from @madelezabeth s art because Val is absolutely (as the kids would say) serving cunt, but man am i bad at dynamically posing a super stylized character so i really needed that ref.

Note how all his joints are still being worked on because... i mean this dude is a twig. Get stick bugged

If this style wasn't so ridiculously hard for me to do i'd totally also sculpt a little Alastor because he's very fun but don't even get me started there, i have no idea how to make that one work.

Sneak Peek of a HUGE project Im working on atm. 💀 Sculpting this took forever and a half (especially the spine, ribs and neck, my fingers wanted to die haha), and its only one (unfinished) part of a whole. Im sooo excited over one! And a little anxious, cause, as with quite a few of my creations, I dont know if it will work out. I never plan beforehand, I cant, the creatures are ever changing, telling me along the way what they want to be. The vague ideas I have in the beginning are almost completely changed at the end. However I DO know this guy will be a challenge, a very big one at that, he already is. But then, its that very challenge (in both big and small) I love the most about making art, to push my boundaries, to create things I have no clue if I can pull off, because if I do, that feeling is everything. 🤩 Tho I will say this will be such a project I will switch from - making other ones in between (to stay sane 😆). Oh and yeah, fyi, its wings are fully posable at every joint, woop! Wish me luck!! 🌟
