Didn't do any work today just watched The Office and drank lots of coffee (sometimes it's okay to take a break)

Part of the reuse of the Mall at Steamtown is the conversion of the food court into the Scranton Public Market. Vacant food court units have been walled off, and tables were removed to make room for a bunch of small, basic spaces for locals to set up stalls for cheap. This doesn't look like it was very successful since only maybe 2 of the units were occupied.

D&H Near the End by Don Kalkman
Via Flickr:
On a typical cloudy May 15, 1992, I visited the D&H's Taylor Yard in Scranton, Pennsylvania to see what was around.
Freshly rebuilt GP38-2 7307, a former Lehigh Valley motor, was sharing the yard with Delaware & Hudson Alco RS11 5002.
Nothing much was going on at the time. Canadian Pacific was about to take over and kill off the good stuff.

You know how in the first two seasons Jim and Pam were basically joined to the hip? I had always wondered that why then suddenly the writers decided to break all contact between them in early episodes of season 3.
I have a theory.
What if it's because they wanted the people to know that even though their connection was so strong, they could still live without each other. Be their own person and not just each other's. I also think that Pam needed some time to get her life on track without being influenced by a guy. So they removed the Jim element from her life.
It's just so sweet to think that even though they could function without always being with the other person, they just didn't want to.

On this day, March 17, in Type o' Negative history:
Green clothes? Check. Green lights? Check. Wait a minute! Is this a Type o' Negative show or a St. Patrick's Day celebration? My poor Irish mutha...!
Type o' Negative play Johnnyland with Pantera in Corpus Christi, TX (1995) (Type o' Negative AND Pantera playing a show together on St. Patrick's Day? That's a perfect storm of shenanigans and hijinx!)
Type o' Negative play the Scranton Cultural Center with Coal Chamber, Full Devil Jacket, and The Deadlights in Scranton, PA (2000)
