Internet horror superstar Trevor Henderson has written a children’s horror novel titled Scarewaves. It will be published in hardcover, e-book, and audio book on October 3 via Scholastic.
Aimed at readers aged 9-12, the 208-page book features cover art and 26 interior drawings by Henderson. Inspired by Goosebumps, it follows group of kids in the small town of Beacon Point being stalked by monsters.
The synopsis is below, where you can also see Henderson's old art featuring one of the novel's many antagonists.

The small town of Beacon Point has always been plagued by eerie local phenomena. It’s a town where disappearances are common, strange creatures have been sighted with unnerving frequency, and a ghastly secret lurks in the woods.
The adults in town are oblivious to these strange occurrences. Others prefer not to talk or even think about them. But over the course of several terrifying nights, a group of kids will come face to face with the horrors hiding within their sleepy town. Guided by the mysterious radio host Alan Graves, they must follow the clues to a terrifying secret before it eats them alive.
Pre-order Scarewaves by Trevor Henderson.

1. Cancel your school's scholastic book fair.
2. Email your friends who are private school teachers or who teach in a rich district. Tell them you canceled the fair & why.
3. Ask them to do a book drive at their school and collect *cool* newer fun books. (and put up a list of wanted titles)
4. Also have a drive at your school to amass books.
5. Have a your own book fair. Every kid gets a book. Depending on if it makes sense parents can send a donation for the library optionally.

Here's a title from the book fair I worked the last several days. I'm going to replace "Jacob" with "Ron" so this can be all about Speirs' great-grandson finding the truth about his war years.

I just bought all this stuff today going to Garage Sales and I paid with pocket change out of my coin purse for everything. 😆 Our city had community garage sale weekend and today was the last day. Everyone was over it giving stuff away before it rains today. Lol ❤️
