I heard this weeks guest on a Podcast. His music tells stories of what it is like living in this great country. Here is my interview with the great Matt Scullion.
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
My name is Matt Scullion and I’m a well traveled Australiana-Folk singer/songwriter. As an artist I have two albums and a Golden Guitar award to my name.
As a co-writer I’ve written with everybody from Lee Kernaghan to Cold Chisel and have had 25 number one songs to date.
I grew up on the South Coast of NSW in a little town called Ulladulla and have pretty much been infatuated with music since I can remember.
What/who inspired you to get into music?
My Mother’s record collection and our next door neighbours who were a very arty/hippie family. My first instrument was the Bass guitar which I bought off the fella next door. He gave me a couple lessons and I caught a bad case of the music bug which I still have.
How, if at all did the pandemic change your approach to your music?
It’s definitely forced me to think outside the box as far as where I book my shows. It also gave me time to learn the Banjo.
Have you got any new releases due to come out?
I have one more single to release called “From The Ashes” a song about resilience after the 2019/20 bushfires. It’s the 5th single off my current album Aussie As Vol II.
I also have a new album in the pipeline. I’ll be heading into the studio this February to record with Shane Nicolson. Shane has produced my last two albums and I totally trust him with my songs.
When you record, how does the process develop? Drums first followed by guitar etc?
We always start with me putting down a guide instrument/vocal track. Shane then builds the music around my groove. We tend to go for a more percussive approach than a full drum kit, so it’s quite a fun process finding things to bang on in the studio to come up with new sounds.
What is your career highlight so far?
Performing at the SCG. I got to sing my song “1868” to a sea of faces. It’s the story of the first Australian sporting side to tour internationally which was an all Indigenous cricket team.
Any upcoming gigs you want to promote?
I’m looking forward to all the shows I have lined up this year, but I’ll give a shout out to The Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival, Oct 14-16. It’s a wonderful festival with a top line up.
What do you think of the Australian/Adelaide music scene?
I can’t speak for the whole Australian music scene, but the circuit I tour in is alive and well. The Aussie Country Music scene has always been really well supported by community radio which is a great way to reach the rural areas, which is where I do most of my shows.
What are\were some of your favourite venues to play?
I haven’t really got a favourite, but I definitely have a soft spot for the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Who are some other upcoming bands we should have a look at?
An Aussie Folk singer/songwriter named Michael Waugh and a wonderful traditional Irish group called Lynched.
What venues or tours are still on your bucket list?
I’d love to perform at the Sydney Opera House, it’s a beautiful intimate setting with amazing acoustics. Also the Big Red Bash out in Birdsville QLD, I’ve heard it’s a fantastic festival to perform at.
What are your long and short term goals?
Just to keep making music that matters and writing songs that connect with everyday Australians.
If you could only keep one album, what would it be?
That’s not fair!! Can I have two please? John Williamson (Warragul) and Paul Kelly (Greatest Hits).
Finally, where can people find you? Socials etc?

mistakes
This is a summary of all mistakes I've made in my blog-posts,
Part 1: "Worthy Successor Function", this function won't work because there is no universal system of fundamental sequences for all ordinals bellow ω₁ and for some of them, the subset of all α for which g_{α}(10)<n for some n don't have a largest number. The Worthy Successor Function can therefore only be defined with a system of fundamental sequences that follows weird criteria.
Part 2: "I will give no explanation for what this is", there is one small mistake with this, the second line from the left and second from the top doesn't extend far enough, I'll still not say what it is.
Part 3: "introduction to the FGH", first, a hierarchy is a mathematical object with preorder, this doesn't always have functions (most of them don't). Second, I said that ω[n]=n is the fundamental sequence of ω, but there exist more (e.g. ω[n]=n^n), this is also the case for all other fundamental sequences I stated.
Part 4: "My Largest Number, part 1", 巨大数庭園数 is an abbreviation, it's not the real name of LNGN. For some reason, a c in parentheses changed into a copy-right symbol. Sets of worlds weren't needed, normal sets will do just fine.
Part 5: "My Largest Number, part 2", great, I've put a link instead of just writing the definition just here, 10/10 for accessibility, it probably also isn't well-defined.
Part 6: "My Largest Number, part 3", the definition is still complex.
Part 7: "The sub-cubic graph function", there's a random ⌋ at the beginning, also, SCG(2) is smaller than TREE(3) and there wasn't said what θ I used.
Part 8: "Ordinal Collapsing Function", it isn't one function, they are two and they aren't collapsing and the analysis above TFBO isn't accurate at all.
Part 9: "the largest number ever", I don't think that I'm supposed to say what's wrong with it.

INTERVIEW with Michael Kras, Playwright
Tumblr media
Above: Michael Kras - photo by Megan Kras
The world premiere of No Big Deal, produced by Roseneath Theatre and presented by Tottering Biped Theatre, will be touring in Hamilton for an extremely limited run October 21st to 23rd in the Robinson Memorial Theatre at McMaster University. No Big Deal is the newest work by local playwright Michael Kras, a recent recipient of the Voaden Prize for his hit play The Team.
Kras' work centres on new-generational characters navigating their lives in present day Canada. His provocative, witty and accessible plays have been breaking out of Hamilton with some now featured in play publications and school program productions across Canada.
I had the pleasure of a virtual interview with Michael to discuss his playwriting journey and the anticipation of No Big Deal being staged.
SCG: Describe your inspiration for your latest work No Big Deal and what encouraged you to write this piece.
MK: In 2019, after finishing a sold-out run of my play The Team in Hamilton – which is a play that features five young women – I wanted to jump into a new project that allowed for a more direct kind of introspection.
The ways in which toxic masculinity permeate our culture, especially in ways that feel innocuous or have been normalized, were interesting to me as a playwright; so I decided to dive in on a play about male friendship and two young men coming of age with extremely divergent ideas of what “being a man” means to them.
With this basic idea in mind, I approached Toronto’s Roseneath Theatre – one of Canada’s leading companies for Theatre for Young Audiences – and pitched them the idea. As it turns out, the topic of toxic masculinity has been an in-demand one for schools across the province, so Roseneath was all for it and I soon jumped into a role as their OAC Playwright-in-Residence through 2020 to work on the play. I’m so proud that this play will be making its world premiere with Roseneath as their first in-person production since the pandemic began.
SCG: What is your perception on taking a risk regarding writing new pieces of theatre?
MK: Good question! I view risk as a playwright as the bravery to present challenging ideas without letting the work itself take a clear side. As an artist, I can live in a safe place by using the play to tell the audience how I feel about my characters and their actions, but I think it’s much more interesting to present them as they are – the good and the bad and the grey – without judgement. That, for me, is where the discussion lives.
That’s what I love about No Big Deal; its lens on toxic masculinity is often subtle, and the gender politics that inform so much of the conflict in the play can be deeply complicated. I have zero interest in easy answers; if I did, I probably wouldn’t be a playwright.
SCG: Hamilton theatre has an increasing interest from younger audiences and many community theatre companies encourage their involvement as participants in community productions. How do you approach this as a playwright and why do you believe your work speaks to younger audiences?
MK: I can’t speak too much to what that’s like in community theatre, but I will say that I think any theatre – community or professional – will see no downside to programming, creating, and developing new work that’s about and for new-generation audiences and artists.
So often in Canadian theatre we put theatre for adults and theatre for young audiences into two separate silos, but I believe that theatre for young audiences can tell stimulating, challenging, powerful, exciting stories that impact a much broader range of audiences than just young people. One of my favourite examples was during a talkback of my play The Team – another play I wrote about and for young people – where one of the most visibly moved people in the audience was a white man in his 50s.
I think that universal resonance happens when we as artists treat young people and their experiences with weight, complexity, and nuance. At the end of the day, young people are doing the same thing all of us are doing; trying to find our place in an increasingly uncertain world.
SCG: What have been some challenges in writing and workshopping No Big Deal and how have you overcome them?
MK: No Big Deal is one of the hardest times I’ve ever had writing a play. A big part of that was absolutely the fact that I began developing it right at the start of the pandemic, and trying to write a play was the very last thing on my mind while the world around me was going through this terrifying and unprecedented event.
But beyond that, I think it’s more difficult and vulnerable to write a play like this that’s so closely tied to my own lived experience. My play The Team, for instance, came out of me really quickly because the subject matter afforded me a degree of personal distance. No Big Deal was a direct confrontation of the ways I navigate the world as a young, white, cisgender, able-bodied man. It’s not remotely autobiographical, but this play taught me a lot about myself.
SCG: How will this play speak to Hamilton audiences or audiences in general?
MK: I will consider No Big Deal a success if audiences in Hamilton and beyond walk away with completely different takes on the events that occur in the play. I think people in the audience will get different reads on certain situations and moments based on their own lived experiences, and that excites me so much.
I’m very proud of this play; I think it’s extremely funny, humane, moving, and challenging, and the team bringing it to life at Roseneath Theatre is very special. But above all, I think No Big Deal is going to prompt some incredibly important discussions; and not just for younger generations.
Thank you Michael for your engaging insights on playwriting and bringing another intriguing work to the stage. Please see details below for more information.

PLOT SYNOPSIS:  Best friends Ariel and Grayson work at a horrible theme park for the summer to save up for college. Their plan is to be roommates and take their first steps into adulthood together. But tensions created by their increasingly different ideas of growing into manhood might be enough to threaten their friendship. Tackling themes of contemporary masculinity, bro culture, and consent, No Big Deal is a complex, funny, and humane new play that’s sure to provoke urgent discussion.

So I’m trying to close the literally hundreds of tabs I have open, and I bump into Stargate crossovers, notably a Stargate/Avatar crossover. This reminds me Stargate is a goldmine of crossovers because you just have to put a Stargate in your favorite fictional universe and there you go! And SG-1′s Clarke’s 3rd Law approach means that any magical shit fits in their universe.
Now, since I’m still in the RWBY hyperfixation train; I obviously thinking how easy and interesting a RWBY/Stargate is.
First off, they exist; here’s all of them in FF.Net: https://www.fanfiction.net/Stargate-SG-1_and_RWBY_Crossovers/68/10833/
They’re all good. And there’s actually 3 types: the classic approach, SGC types a random address and it’s Remnant; the Trane7 approach (later adopted by TheLongVersion2), Remnant makes their own Stargate program and inevitably bumps into Earth; and the How-not-to-do-something approach, go full AU, I actually dig this fic, I’m still reading it because it’s long, but it’s very interesting, in short the Battle of Beacon happened but Beacon itself didn’t fall and Ozpin didn’t die; and Team JNPR fell into a Stargate and got picked up by SGC and 2 years later Team RWBY finds them, then shit happens.
I actually have a few ideas inspired by this fic; the initial set up is basically the same, Team JNPR gets stranded on the wrong side of a Stargate, get taken by SGC and join them because they want to help stop the Goa’uld, and then 2 years later Team RWBY figures out the Stargate, this time with the address of Remnant; difference is that Ozpin did die and he reincarnated into Oscar. Now this is inspired by this AU: https://xstonehill.tumblr.com/post/183196875183/rosegarden-au-a-different-happy-ending; so Oscar is passing himself as a prodigy and going to Heaven Academy 2 years early, just like Ruby (I suspect Ozpin did the same); and you know continuing the fight against Salem and stuff. Now as presented by hyperfixation-hideout in their 2 long-ass videos the Merge goes both ways and Oscar is a more open, more honest person than Ozpin, so I declare that he ended up telling his team everything (it was an impromptu bonding session), like everything, they’re probably the only people outside of Salem’s group who know she’s immortal, and the first thing Oscar does after reuniting with Ozpin’s group is telling them about Salem’s immortality.
Anyway in Not What You Expected Jaune says that the Grimm are nothing compared to the Goa’uld, but I’m not so sure, Salem has actual magic AND she is unkillable; of course Jaune doesn’t know that. In any case Remnant and Earth form an alliance to collaborate, and fight the Goa’uld and the Grimm (and Salem once people realize she’s a problem).
You know, now I think about it; however Remnant and Earth came in contact doesn’t matter as much as I’d thought. In all cases they form an alliance, scientists back on Earth loose their minds at Aura and Semblances and they will figure out how the hell that works; Faunus are less interesting, but genetic testing will happen to understand how they work and how came to be (”God made you” is not good enough, in our experience Gods are fakers); Dust will be analyzed and potential exchanges are set up. And of course everyone in Remnant will be more than happy to help fight evil parasites taking over the Galaxy (everyone except Ozpin who has other priorities).
Anyway, the story I would probably write is that SCG gets to Remnant’s address; Teal’c notes that the System Lords warn about this planet (one fic says it’s monsters of the dark of the soul, so maybe something like that “Here be Dragons” and shit), but they get to Remnant and they’re attacked by Grimm and rescued by hunters, let’s say Team JNPR to spice things up, and they get taken to Ozpin (questions are asked, why the principal of a school is like world leader); then discussions happen, questions about Aura and Dust and Grimm and that girl has rabbit ears are asked, and eventually an alliance is settled, technology and resources are to be exchanged, and Remnant will help Earth fight evil alien conquerors.
Now the interesting thing is that Ozpin is mysterious; I mean, he’s always mysterious, but when the discussion turns to the Goa’uld you get the feeling he knows something. Well, I gotta notice that Ozpin knows the Grimm have a master, but the public doesn’t and neither does SCG, so he’s mysterious on that regard (Jack doesn’t trust him) but he’s more mysterious, and if you’re thinking “Ozpin has been around for ever, maybe he’s met the Goa’uld before” your are absolutely right. Okay, this is the idea I have: the Goa’uld first came to Remnant during the time where Ozgiliath (Ozma 2.0) and Salem were together pretending to be gods; so we get a group of fake gods going against 2 fake gods with actual magical powers (and one of them is actually unkillable), Salem and Ozgiliath kick the Goa’uld butts and they run away (I imagine monsters who are attracted to negative feelings and people who are being slaved don’t make a good combination). So Ozpin knows the Goa’uld and maybe has a personal problem with some of them *coughBa’alcough*, but he’s not gonna tell anyone that (certainly not the part about pretending to be a god to people fighting people pretending to be gods).
Next, have you considered there’s parallels between Oz and the Goa’uld? First, aside from that little stint with Salem, we know Oz has been worshiped in the past, you know the Infinite Man story; and he is one entity moving from host to host. I am firm in the belief that Oz is nothing like the Goa’uld, but Ozpin is not so much; you know that some of his hosts have called him a parasite, he himself has wondered if he is in fact a parasite; god, the backstory I give to Ozpin presents him as having been radically altered by becoming a host of the Oz entity, that’s perfect for him to be “Am I me or am I Oz? Did I became Oz or did Oz replaced me? Who am I?” Ba’al is gonna have such a good time taunting Ozpin about this. I’ve decided Ba’al was in Remnant before and he remembers Ozgiliath, when he meets Ozpin he’s like “It’s really you Ozma, you have a new host too”; and when Oscar comes around it’s gonna be even worse because Oscar is afraid of ceasing to exist due to the Merge (I love Ba’al so much).
Another thing that is definitively happening is that Oscar (or Ozpin, but it’s funnier with Oscar) is gonna beat up a Goa’uld in front of their entire following, and the following is gonna be like “Our God has been defeated by this other god*, he must worship him now” and Ozpin in Oscar’s head is gonna be like “Not Again!”
*By the time this happens word has spread that Oz is a God, because he was pretending to be one, way back when.
So I don’t have a full plot yet, but so far I got that not too long after an alliance between Earth and Remnant is established; SGC looses contact with Remnant, about one year later Atlas reestablishes contact (Ironwood took the Stargate to Atlas) and it’s like “everything’s gone wrong! Beacon has fallen, Ozpin is dead, the Grimm are out of control. Help please”; and I don’t know what season of SG1 would be, so I don’t know if SCG would be “we’ll try but we’re in crisis” or “we’re in crisis, we really can’t give much help right now” (SGC is always in crisis), either way SG-1 is gonna end up in Remnant to meet Team Qrow. I want SG-1 to meet Oscar so much, because people having some kind of telepathic ability that gives them powers is one thing, reincarnation is another; Jack is gonna deny it, Sam and Daniel are gonna ask questions, and Teal’c is gonna assume he’s like the Tok’ra.
Also I’m considering Salem allying herself with the Goa’uld. I like to think she’d use them to wreck havoc; and as previously mentioned, she’s actually immortal and has magic; she can probably appear as a more powerful goddess and it’s better to be on her good side (she did definitively killed one or two System Lords); this could cause problems if the people start worshiping her above their System Lords, but we’ll see how things play out. Also I like to think that when faced with whoever, she’s like “You? A God? I’ve fought the Gods, you’re no god” (Ozpin has a similar interaction with Ba’al, where Ba’al calls him a god and Ozpin is like “I’m not a god, and neither are you. You’re just a parasite with delusions of grandeur”)
I’m fairly sure this is leading to a big ass fight in the sky over Remnant; the Gods, probably some kind of ascended being, play a part (and they’re jerks).
Oh and one more thing, humanity 1.0 are probably Ancients, which is how they can use magic; humanity 2.0 I’m not sure where it come from, but I could see them being Earth humans, although I’d have to check the timeline to the Goa’uld being on Remnant (I mean, they can come twice)

'SRI LANKA STOP KILLING TAMILS' JEGAN Australia
It has always been near impossible to get the international media to cover the Sri Lankan government’s violence against the Tamils.  In the late 90s, as the atrocities escalated,  the world was more interested in celebrating Sri Lanka’s cricketing heroes than exposing the Tamil genocide.
Early in 1999, when the Sri Lankan cricket team played in the 1998–99 Carlton and United Series in Australia, in utter desperation at the world’s silence, we hired a skywriter to write “Sri Lanka Stop Killing Tamils” above the Sydney Cricket Ground during one of the matches.
The decision to do this was not an easy one. There was a view  that our fundraising efforts should be sent to those affected by the war in Eelam. This was a valid concern, however, it was also an important opportunity to put Sri Lanka’s crimes on the international stage.
The total cost was $7000 AUD. We found 25 sponsors to donate $100 for each letter. A few businesses and individuals covered the rest. We fundraised specifically for this campaign.
While I was worried that we would be in trouble with the police, the skywriter didn’t seem too phased.
The plane started writing around the time the game started at 2pm.  We were lucky that we had clear blue skies with no winds to scatter the smoke. It was impossible for anyone watching the cricket to miss the white letters which stood out prominently against the blue. The pilot told us that the height of each letter was 1km and the width was 750m.
During the time of the skywriting, I was in a car with another activist near the SCG watching anxiously. Within 10 minutes of the writing ending, we received a phone call from an overseas number. We nervously picked up the phone, not sure what to expect. It was the co-ordinator of the diaspora Tamil activists and he praised us for our creativity in putting the violence against the Tamils on the international stage. His support gave us a bit of confidence that the large amounts of money we had spent were justified. A few days later there was another match in Melbourne and the same message was written there. A news outlet that covered what happened in Australia, and it was our then spokesperson who spoke to the journalist who covered it.  She said that the journalist had asked about the cost. Our spokesperson explained that while it was a lot of money, it was one of the ways our community could try to raise awareness, given that the media was not interested in covering the violence. ****** We have not been able to track down any photos or find out which news outlet covered the action. * In 1984, a year after the Black July pogrom, when the Sri Lankan cricket team was at Lords in London for their first test match, Tamil protesters ran onto the field with banners and lay on the pitch. You can watch the footage here. * In 19 May 1999, UK Tamil activists skywrote "Killing Tamils is just not cricket” while Sri Lanka was playing against South Africa at the County Ground.  * In 2011, a yellow weather balloon bobbed up above the Lord's pavilion in the UK. It had "Boycott Sri Lanka" scrawled on the side in thick black ink.  * In 2012, Trevor Grant,  a former chief cricket writer at The Age called for Australia to boycott the Sri Lankan cricket team. Trevor became an unrelenting champion for Tamil justice and become an active  and vocal member of the Tamil Refugee Council  and a close friend to many of the Tamil activists. We lost another selfless soul, when he passed away in 2017.

Burning Questions: Return to play, 2020 expectations, Heppell, Hooker back, BZT, Cutler’s intrigue and more
Tumblr media
Dyson Heppell is back. Cale Hooker is back too. And Joe Daniher is trending in the right direction for the first time in years. Football is back.
The coronavirus pandemic has halted every sport in its tracks. The NBA is still yet to resume and still hasn’t figured out a safe method of finishing its year. Major League Baseball hasn’t worked out if or when it’ll start its season. And the NHL are fine tuning a path to return to play but nothing is final yet. These are just a few leagues to name, but every sport league has stopped. And every league is now trying to figure out how to come back safely. There’s no blueprint either. It’s one messy, minefield.
If there is a silver living here for the AFL, it’s that, any club who had long-term injuries, or newly sustained pre-season concerns over players have been given the lifeline of 83 days to help prepare, heal and get right before Round Two. For the Bombers, this period has been favourable. Hooker and Heppell had short-term injuries that would have seen them miss multiple weeks — in Heppell’s case, he would have missed at least half the season. Same with Joe Daniher. But with the three-month hiatus Hooker and Heppell will play against Sydney. And Daniher is weeks away from playing so he should see a good chunk of the 2020 season.
But fit bodies are just that. There’s still a slew of unanswered questions that need addressing. Some will get answered this weekend. Others will take weeks to answer, if not, a year or two. After three consecutive years of 12 wins, 2020 was meant to be the year that the Bombers delivered better than that, moved up from mediocrity and won a final. But, the pandemic has added another layer of uncertainty around the Bombers. With that, here are some burning questions that will impinge the Bombers in 2020.

Can Devon Smith pick up where he left off before his PCL operation?
We will know soon enough when he takes on the Swans but from all reports the knee has never been better. “My knee’s been pulling up the best it has since I can remember, so I’m really excited about the season,” he told news.com.au. My only real concern for Smith, is can his knee stand up to the rigours of AFL intensity? He’s had a decent 12-month stint without AFL competition. And being a hard-at-it player, someone the Bombers need in trenches, we’ll only know just how good Smith’s knee is in the days and weeks to come.
But let’s go back to 2018 when Smith won the Crichton Medal. That was the year Watson, Stanton and Pop Kelly retired. Heath Hocking got delisted. The Bombers went 2-6 early in the season. Mark Neeld got the boot. Daniher got shutdown with a season-ending groin injury. And the midfield had some serious holes. But Smith stood up. He averaged 22 touches and 8.5 tackles — both career highs — and kicked 17.16. And if you remember, he carried the team during the big games. Against Collingwood in R16, he collected 31d, 8m and had 13 tackles in their 16p loss. Against Carlton on a wet MCG, he laid 15 tackles along with 21 touches. His pressure and hardness around the contest was made more obvious in a midfield that was lacking grunt. He filled that void.
The complications of COVID-19 has forced the AFL to make quarters 16-minutes long. That means Smith can go full-tilt for an entire game. There’s upside to that. But, to my earlier point, can his knee withstand that kind of onslaught in shorter, more intense sets? The Bombers missed Smith in 2019. His return will make opposition midfields more accountable. He’s another goal-kicking option. And his high tackle count (in 2018: 186) will cause turnover opportunities, something the good AFL teams do regularly.
Essendon haven’t won in Sydney since 2009. Can they break the drought?
It’s hard to definitively say the Bombers can win this one when there’s an existing 10+ year SCG drought to consider. But when you think about the 83 days between R1 and R2, both teams are operating on a clean slate. It’s like the start of the season take two. On paper the Bombers have a good balance for the small SCG ground: tall key defenders, small, quick and bullish forwards. They bring back their captain, Dyson Heppell. Hooker, Hurley and Francis should stand up against Heeney and the Swans’ potent forwards. That gives the Bombers a chance to steal this one.
There’s a growing concern over the Bombers forward line in 2020, with Joe Daniher still out, Fantasia missing. Will the Bombers struggle to kick goals?
For this week at the SCG those outs won’t matter. The Bombers should be able to cover Daniher and Fantasia through a core group of Smith, Stringer, Townsend, Tipungwuti. For the Bombers to go to that next level, adding Daniher and Fantasia is a must. The good news is that the Bombers have worked out other ways to kick goals. And it sounds like this year they are relying on midfielders and small forwards to do the damage on the scoreboard. But if Daniher and Fantasia do come back soon, the Bombers will have their strongest forward set up since the 2000 Premiership: Stringer, Townsend, Fantasia, Joe Daniher, Tipungwuti, Smith. That’s not too shabby.
Dustin Fletcher is on the cusp of being inducted in the Hall of Fame but some are saying that he might have to wait a few years because of the 12-month ASADA ban. Should he have to wait?
If they decide Fletcher has to wait another year or two, because of the ASADA ban, in the grand scheme of things it’s not that big a deal. As long as he’s inducted. He’s a lock. Let’s not forget Fletcher had a decorated career with 400 games and two premierships. Let’s also remember he meets the criteria: record, ability, integrity, sportsmanship and character. No-one could argue against any of those things with any great certainty. Whether it’s now or years to come, it’s happening.
Of the players picked to play against the Swans for R2, who should we watch, and what should we look for?
Tom Cutler. I liked what I saw against Fremantle in R1 and how he moved between the backline and forward 50. His speed is impressive for his size considering he’s carrying a 192 cm frame. I think he’s going to be a match up headache every week. Andrew McGrath is another one to watch. This year will be his first year as a full-time midfielder, or at least that’s how the Bombers intend to use him. He keeps getting better, quicker, smarter. He has Cotchin attributes.
The most intriguing duo in the team right now are Townsend and Stringer. Two bulls. They really need to impose themselves against the Swans on a small SCG where spacing is tight. Both have the ability to kick three to five goals each on any given week. In the absence of Daniher they’re going to have to seize on every opportunity.
Do you think the 16-minute quarters will work in Essendon’s favour?
What I think this means for the Bombers is that they can leave their best mix of players on the ground longer without breaks. And there shouldn’t be any issues with not being able to run out games. Also: with the speed the Bombers have on their team — Fantasia, Saad, McKenna, Tipungwuti — the shorter quarters gives them breaks just in time when they might be gassed. Worsfold will still have to think about rotations.
Townsend is playing his 50th game this week. What did you make of his game against Fremantle?
He kicked three goals from nine kicks against Fremantle. It was impressive. He looked dangerous in that game each time the ball came near him. His hard-nut approach and big body will give the Bombers flexibility to play him forward with stints inside the midfield. I can’t wait to watch more of Townsend this year. He’s my new favourite player and he’s only played one game.
There will be no crowds at some games for the foreseeable future. How will this impact the Bombers?
After this week, the Bombers are in Melbourne against the Demons, Blues, Pies. It’s not really an issue yet. For most teams playing away, no crowds should neutralize the home advantage. Without the parochial and constant barracking it’s going to create more parity.
What’s up with Zerk-Thatcher breaking the rules around coronavirus?
He’s young. He’s 21. There were 16 Adelaide players who broke the rules too and didn’t get punished. There will be more young players who break the rules around coronavirus moving forward. It’s unfortunate. But he owned it. Zerk-Thatcher is a player that the Bombers need to get more games into and develop him as a replacement for Hurley or Hooker. He’s fine. Everything is fine.
The Bombers still haven’t won a final since 2004 and they’ve won 12 games in three consecutive years. What should Bomber fans expect from here, in a pandemic year?
With a clean bill of health the Bombers should be setting themselves up to win their first final in 16 years. Since 2009 their finals record has been putrid. They have scraped through to the finals five times for a 0-5 record and boast an average losing margin of 59.2. The worst defeat of that lot was in 2009 against the Crows to the tune of 96. It’s hard to predict what will happen in a pandemic year, where life is changing every day. So expect good weeks and bad weeks. I would say for this year, watch how the Bombers transition, how they defend, how the midfield holds up against intense pressure. Those are the areas they need to improve in.

Quantum Leap: The Beginning
Tumblr media
As you woke up, your mind kept repeating the words that you had heard in your strange fever dream from last night.
N̸̦̔o̶̲̾w̵̟͒ ̸͉̈́g̴̨̾o̴̳͌o̵̦͒d̸̟̈ ̴͔̔r̵̘̂i̶̠̋d̸̩͒d̸̖̀â̴̱n̴̹̋c̷̺͐ē̴̯.̴̯͂
After whoever it was spoke those words, you and Seungwoo were both flung back into your physical bodies. However, unlike Seungwoo, who had woken up immediately, you had been thrown into another deep slumber. Seungwoo kept tabs on you, but mainly spent the few days you were out training, as he knew there was a bigger threat than just Youngho now.
Even though he had been frozen when the being had thrown them into a reality hole, he still heard everything that had happened. When he had heard the fear in your trembling voice then, he knew that now, more than ever, he needed to be ready at all times to protect you.
The day that you had finally woken up, you had walked onto the deck of the treehouse to witness Seungwoo floating a few inches off of the ground with his legs criss-crossed. You climbed down the ladder, watching how the vibrant yellow aura around him acted as you came down. Once you had set foot on the ground, you said softly, “Uhh.. Seungwoo?? What’s happening??”
He suddenly whips around to face you, his eyes completely engulfed in the same yellow color that surrounds him. He uncrosses his legs, standing up as the aura around him started to fade, the color in his eyes starting to dissipate, only remaining in his irises. “Thank goodness you’re awake,” Seungwoo says happily, stepping a bit closer to you, “I was starting to get worried.”
“What do you mean?,” you ask, “Was I out for a long time?” Seungwoo nods, but says, “I was mainly worried that the being who trapped us in the reality hole had taken over your mind,” he says, “We have a lot to worry about now y/n. Whoever they are, they’re a lot more powerful than us right now.”
“What’s a reality hole? And what exactly happened? I feel like I can’t remember anything clearly right now,” you say solemnly. Seungwoo sighs before he says, “Because that’s the being’s power. They can alter memories and reality somehow… and a reality hole is that white space we were in,” he says, looking you right in the eyes, “It’s just the name for the space that exists in between realities. Somehow, you weren’t affected by its powers, which freezes most mortal beings and prevents them from doing anything except hearing and seeing anything that happens right in front of them. The only exception to that is teleporting, but you usually don’t see inside of the reality hole when teleporting.”
“Now, for why you can speak and exist inside of a reality hole is beyond my knowledge,” he continues, “I’m trying to remember if we learned anything else while we were inside of the time vortex… something keeps coming to the tip of my tongue, but it’s like it happened and it’s been taken from my mind.” He freezes, definitely realizing the being had stolen that memory from him.
He groans frustratedly, scratching the side of his head. “S-so what now?,” you ask nervously. “We have to somehow find this being,” Seungwoo answers, “And defeat them before they can start affecting any other realities.” He pauses for a moment, glancing over you before opening his mouth slightly, as if he wanted to say something, but shut it closed before anything actually came out.
“What?” you ask, looking into his eyes pointedly, “I know you want to say something Seungwoo.” He sighs once again before saying, “I think they might be after you in some way. You have something they want, I can just feel it. Which is where I come in.”
“You currently have no real way of protecting yourself,” Seungwoo says hurriedly, “So, I’ll be protecting you from now on, and you have no say in it.” He finishes, crossing his arms defensively. You smile at him and say, “Now why would I have a problem with that?”
“So how exactly do we start this hunt for this mysterious being?” you ask. Seungwoo turns around from you, simply using his hand to motion for you to follow. You jog forward, slowing down to a walk once you’re walking by his side. “Honestly, I have no clue as to where we should start,” he says, his forehead scrunching up slightly in frustration, “Beings who can manipulate realities are a little harder to find than people who actually exist.”
You giggle slightly and say, “Well, of course! They aren’t technically real in a way.” Seungwoo smiles back at you before saying, “I guess so, but as you saw, they can affect us.” You nod in agreement as the two of you near the edge of the cliff that overlooks a large valley with huge towering mountains on the other side. Seungwoo leans down slightly, his head placing his head at about the level of yours, before he points off into the distance.
His finger points to a large shadow off to the right of you before he says, “That’s the empire in which Youngho and Xenia are from. You can only see the backside of the castle from here, but yeah.” As your eyes finally adjust to the massive distance that you’re looking across, you can definitely tell that it is a castle and a large one at that. It towers above even the taller mountains in the range, and you can’t help but feel intimidated by the sheer power you can feel from it.
You shake your head, turning back to Seungwoo in an attempt to refocus your strained eyes. Seungwoo smiles down at you softly before saying, “Don’t worry y/n. I won’t let Youngho hurt you again.” He reaches his right hand out, clearly intending to rest it on your shoulder, but right before it lands, a spark forms from his hand.
Before Seungwoo can yank his hand away, the spark expands in the blink of an eye, forcing you off of the edge of the cliff before you even realize what’s going on. As you finally feel yourself falling, you let out a wild scream, flipping over only to see the ground approaching at a rapid pace, and you screamed once more, recognizing your impending doom.
A large shout booms from above you, and your body flips around to see Seungwoo diving off of the cliff, a yellow light surrounding him as he tried to fly down and catch you. But you knew the ground would catch you before Seungwoo could ever even reach you. You squeezed your eyes shut, a few tears falling upwards, as you knew your death was going to be quick and painless.
You clenched your teeth, your fists, and you even curled your toes, starting to feel the life drain from your body as you inched closer and closer to the rock-hard surface. Seungwoo lets out another cry from above you, this time however, he was yelling your name in a last attempt to save you.
“Y/N!”
The sound of your name being called makes you release every body part that you had clammed shut. Your eyes opened wildly, taking in the sight of Seungwoo one last time. His eyes were wild with color and desperation, and his was flung back from the force of flying. And of course, he was surrounded by his golden aura, a color and sight that you had begun to love. You smiled one last time as the last few seconds approached. “Goodbye… Seungwoo…” you muttered weakly, bracing yourself for the final impact now.
˙ʇǝʎ ʇoN
However, before the impact even happened, a white hole appeared underneath you, sucking you into it. Your mind went white, disappearing into a haze of memories. Seungwoo had to quickly brake himself, as one, the portal had disappeared as soon as you fell into it and two, if he hit the ground going as fast as he was, he would most likely sustain injuries.
As Seungwoo somberly traveled back up to the top of the cliff, you were being thrown all over the place, your mind buzzing as loud as a hive of bees. You felt as if you were being sent through an elaborate water slide, as you body folded every which way, even changing from 1 dimensional to 3 dimensional somehow.
You suddenly stopped though, and sat there for what felt like hours trying to get the buzzing to go away. Your mind pounded with intense pain, and your body floated in many circles as you just prayed and hoped the pain would fade away.
Just as the pain was starting to fade and as you were beginning to uncurl yourself from the ball you had rolled up into, a small ball of concentrated purple light appeared in front of you, before expanding and quickly filling the space with a faint lavender glow.
“W-what’s going on?,” you stuttered out, turning your body in every direction to try and figure out if anyone had appeared. Someone chuckles from in front of you, and you see the purple light ball bobbing up and down. “Many things are happening y/n,” the being says, “However, I don’t think you’ve truly realized what is truly happening.”
The voice sounds oddly familiar and warm, almost as if you became accustomed to it a long time ago. “And now you’re thinking about who exactly I am,” they say, a teasing tone arising in their voice, “But to be honest, I know you’re not going to figure out who I am without my help.” The ball floats up until it’s at about your eye level. And without any warning, the ball starts to dissipate, branching out before you started to see the limbs and appendages that were forming before your eyes.
However, the last part of their body to form is their face, and as the features find their way onto their face, you start to recognize every individual feature about them. From the clothes they adorned, to the unquestionable features of their face, and to the the style of their hair, you knew it was actually a she.
And you knew exactly who she was.
scg ds ynuq sdstgq, yulsgn.
“W-what are you doing here Yunseo?!” you exclaim, “ynu adga ygmqs mbn…” She looks up at nothing and says, “Blame her. I would’ve never died and you would’ve never been thrown into this mess if she hadn’t started writing this damn story.” You cock your eyebrows at her, trying to figure out exactly who she was looking at. “U-um… who?” you ask timidly.
“Oh, I forgot, you can’t see outside of the story like I can. Being agma has it’s advantages,” she says coolly, looking back down at you again. “There is a lot we have to go over… but now is not the time. I’m going to return you to Seungwoo for now.”
“And don’t mind the little change I make either, you’ll understand soon enough.”
“Wait yulsgn-!” you try and shout, but the purple dimension is sucked away from behind you and you’re thrown back into the real world, hitting the ground in front of Seungwoo’s house like you were supposed to hit the valley floor only minutes ago.
And as you rub your eyes and sit up, you hear Seungwoo rush out from the treehouse, immediately standing next to you.
Right when your eyes open, a familiar ball of purple light appears right off of the edge of the cliff and you and Seungwoo stare in shock as you watch it explode into the largest portal you’ve ever seen.
~~
You and Seungwoo spent the next few days trying to figure out exactly what the portal was. However, none of your experiments had answered any of your questions and had only led to more and more confusion. You had explained everything that had gone down with Yunseo, but none of that lead to any answers either. Seungwoo, however, was now convinced that you had powers of some sort and was also trying to figure out a way for you to harness them. Nothing had come from that either.
All in all, the two of you were left with nothing when it came to answers of any sort.
Until one night, as the two of you were drifting into sleep, you swear you heard someone calling your name as you were falling into a deep slumber. The farther you got to falling asleep, the louder the voice got. You tossed and turned, trying to get the voice to stop, but it continued, even as your mind finally crashed into slumber.
Your brain displayed an array of colors, almost as if you were falling through some sort of vortex. The voice still called your name in the background, but you were too focused on the swirling and fluctuating colors. However, everything that was happening around you suddenly came to a halt, and you slammed onto some sort of invisible ground.
You were still dazed from the optical illusion you just witnessed but when your eyes finally adjusted, you were sitting in a very familiar lavender colored space. “Geez y/n,” an all too familiar voice says, “Do you not know how to respond to visions?”
Before you can even say anything, Yunseo pops into existence right in front of you, a crooked smile placed on her features. “I’m guessing no?,” she says wickedly, a small giggle slipping out. “What do you mean?” you ask pointedly, somehow managing to stand your dream self up. “That was me calling your name silly,” she says, “Basically when you hear that, you have to follow the sound of my voice. However you do that doesn’t matter, but it usually will end up with you falling asleep.”
“The thing that sucks the most though is I can’t appear in the mortal world like you and Seungwoo can, but I can appear in places like these that I create or other spaces like reality holes. However, I can’t create those.” She finishes, her playful eyes now stern, almost as if she’s telling you to ask about the last part of her message. “And who creates reality holes exactly?,” you say flatly, deadpanning when you see the excited smile light up on Yunseo’s face.
“The only people who can create reality holes naturally are our bqgmt-bqmlakntcgq and Talo,” she answers, “You haven’t met either of them yet, I don’t think, but honestly I can’t tell. Someone keeps messing with the charm…” she mutters the last sentence to herself, and you know that asking questions won’t get you anywhere in those circumstances.
But then, the rest of her words suddenly dawned on you. Your mouth flew open without you realizing it and you exclaimed, “OUR BQGMT-BQMLAKNTCQG?! Shouldn’t she be dead?! What do you mean? How is she here?? What the hell is going on Yunseo?!”
Yunseo turns away from you and says, “I know it’s a lot to take in y/n. I had to accept the truth when I adga. But Grandma Xena gave me new life in the form of being your guardian in this charm. She knew you would be the one to find the tqdlhgts ne nqagq and that you would be the one who had the power to stop everything. To stop our bqgmt-bqmlakntcqg and Talo.”
“Xena?,” you ask, “Is that actually our grandmother’s name?” Yunseo’s eyes widen, and she mumbles, “Oh no, don’t tell me they’ve already-”
“Already what?,” you ask, alarmed by your sister’s tone. “Talo-,” she says abruptly, starting to pace back and forth, “They’ve already found you, oh god, Xanthe’s dying and he’s already gotten to your memories- why couldn’t I have been awakened earlier, oh this is not good…”
“Yunseo, calm down!,” you exclaim, “What’s going on? What can I do?” Yunseo stops in her tracks and takes in a large gulp of air, breathing it out in a quick few seconds. “Talo,” she starts, “Has already found you. He’s erased some of your memories… which also means that kdqmbg has found you too, which means-”
She halts mid-sentence, looking dead into your eyes. “I’m going to wake you up y/n. When you wake up, you need to wake Seungwoo immediately and prepare yourselves for battle.” “Wait, why?!,” you exclaim, “What’s going on?” Yunseo quickly sighs before saying, “Youngho is heading here right now, and you need to stop him before he destroys the portal.”
“Once you defeat him, you both need to head into the portal. Your true mission starts now. There’s no time left. I have to hide your presence from kdqmbg and Talo before it’s too late again,” she rambles on, eventually stopping to float right up to you, placing her hand tenderly on your cheek.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t be here for the last few years sis,” Yunseo says, “But just know I’m always going to be with you now, no matter where you go. Out there, you’ll be able to assist Seungwoo now. I will be lending you some of my power. Don’t worry about knowing how to use it, I’ll be guiding you.”
Her hand slips off your cheek, and she says, “Good luck little sis. There isn’t much time.” Your dream body is slammed back through the spirals, and you sit up in your physical bed, gasping for air. Seungwoo is still dead asleep, his left arm dangling off of the side of his cot and his mouth wide open as he breathed.
You stood up quickly, rushing over to Seungwoo’s side before hesitating. ‘I don’t want to be a bother,’ you think, ‘But there’s no time. Yunseo seemed too worried for this to just be a simple threat.’  Sighing slightly, you grabbed Seungwoo’s dangling arm and started to shake it, saying, “Seungwoo, wake up!,” as quietly as you could.
Seungwoo made a weird snorting noise finally before his eyes flew open, immediately looking over at you. “What’s wrong y/n?,” he asks quickly, his voice clearly dry from sleeping. “L-Listen,” you start nervously, wondering if he’ll even believe your crazy words, “I just had a vision with Yunseo, Youngho’s on his way here now and we have to stop him.”
“And then after we defeat him, we have to go into the portal. We’re not safe in this world anymore,” you finish. Seungwoo’s eyes darken, and he stands up quickly, rummaging around the room. “Dammit, where is it?,” he says frustratedly, throwing different objects around the room as he searched for whatever he was looking for.
You turned away from him, figuring he probably didn’t need you bothering him. As you were exiting the smaller back room, you grabbed your bundle of day clothes. Pajamas were definitely not the best uniform for a battle, and wouldn’t be too comfy in that situation either. You slipped on your blue jeans, black combat boots, and plain & simple t-shirt.
Seungwoo stepped out the back room a few moments later, two small satchels thrown over his right shoulder. He had changed into a pair of jeans like yours and a pair of simple closed toed shoes, leaving his chest bare like always. “Put anything you need to take with you in here,” he says, handing you one of the satchels, “I’m afraid I only have two bags, so that one will be for our shared clothes, and this one will be for food or any other small items we need to bring.” Without saying anything else, the two of you quickly get to work, finding anything and everything that you needed to bring with you. And soon enough, you had walked back into the front room, only to find Seungwoo gone.
A bright flash of yellow light from outside immediately told you where he had gone, and you put the satchel down next to where Seungwoo had laid his, before running outside. It was already pouring outside, and Seungwoo was floating right above the portal, yellow thunder rumbling through each cloud that passed over him. In the distance, however, you saw a charging beam of red light.
Youngho.
You knew it was him. How could it not be? There wasn’t time to dwell on questions like that, however, as Youngho was moving a lot faster than you and Seungwoo thought. Just after you had finished thinking about it, Youngho slammed onto the ground right in front of the portal, completely passing by Seungwoo completely.
You quickly ducked into the cover of the vines that covered the edges of the balcony, hoping that Youngho wouldn’t see you. However, Youngho clearly wasn’t focused on finding you, as he turned the portal itself and held his hands up and they started glowing.
However, this time, his hands weren’t glowing red, they were glowing black? Before you could analyze it, Seungwoo dove down from his position above the portal, sending a quick wave of magic that stopped Youngho’s magic. He then braced himself and slammed right into Youngho physically, sending back a huge force wave that knocked you over and caused a large wind to expand out from them.
Both of them hop back, and you can see both the determined look on Seungwoo’s face and the cocky smirk that was present on Youngho’s features. “Playing the hero again, eh Seungwoo?,” Youngho teases, “You were always the selfless type.” Youngho laughs while Seungwoo starts to scowl slightly.
“I could say the opposite for you,” Seungwoo start, “You were always the selfish type.”  Youngho laughs again before answering, “You’re damn right about that brother!,” he finishes, his laughter and cockiness slowly fading from his face.
"̴̨͇́͒͌̀̌̽N̵̡̯̣͇͍̎̅̆̏̕͝o̴̩̪̘̩̝̻͂͌̃̑͑̽w̸̟͔͌́̍͠ ̴̯̺̟͓̓ḯ̵̧͔̘̈́̒̀̇͝f̴̖̈͘ ̸̞̮̙̬̄̐͝ò̴̩̼͙͋̾̕ṇ̴̛̀̀̊̊͝l̷̟̓̈̈́ỹ̸̭̤̳̿̓̾̚͝ ̶͍̣͙̾ẁ̷͚̻̗̣e̷̻̺̰͎̗̿ ̶̩̓̓w̶̨͍̯̜͝ë̴͚̤̭͈̯́̑́͝r̷͚͎̖͂̓̄̓e̵͖̲͂̆ ̸̧̬̩̝̀ã̵̠̜̽̍͗̏͊c̵̣̍̀͠t̸̨̽ǘ̶͓̝̺͛̏̑̆̔ͅà̴̢̡̹͙̬̾l̸̨̳̬̦̯̟̓̓̃́ļ̷̗̲̮̇̓y̶̢̧͍͚̎̀̋͠ ̴͍͙̖̌b̸̢̛̰͍͖̮̄̓̾̌͝r̴̩̦͉͌͆o̴̡̳̝̘͚͂t̴̫̫̻̓̑̍̅̊h̶̢̳̩̦̺̊e̵̩̐͝r̴͈̪̜͋͠s̶̻͈̮̤̹̝͛͆̎͊̊̈.̵̨̞̰͋̇̄̽͌̒"̶̢̼̾̍̈̋
Seungwoo simply cocks his head at Youngho and starts walking towards him, but you notice a black aura starting to collect around Youngho. Seungwoo doesn’t seem to notice this and keeps walking towards Youngho, clearly muttering and mumbling things under his breath.
As the black aura around Youngho starts to thicken, you know things are about to turn ugly. When his right hand starts to inch up slowly, your body flies forward without you even thinking anything. Youngho doesn’t notice you, and sticks out his stand, clearly aiming at Seungwoo’s heart.
“Seungwoo! Watch out!,” you exclaim, throwing yourself in the line of Youngho’s attack. Youngho fires the beam just as you leap in front of him, and a bright light envelops the three of you, blinding all of you as you finally slammed back down into the earth.
The dust that had been thrown up didn’t dissipate for a good couple of seconds, but when it did, you finally saw the purple shield that now surrounded you and Seungwoo. ‘This must be what Yunseo was talking about,’ you think, ‘I didn’t even think about going out there, something just pulled me right from the balcony.’ A strange-looking silhouette staggers up from Youngho’s side, and as the dust around him finally clears, you gasp in shock.
The right half of his body looked like it had been melted away, a black substance dripping from where his normal body had once been. The outer parts of his eyes had turned black, and his irises held a bold, blood red hue to them. His breathing was heavy, and the air around you felt tight, almost as if you were inside of a reality hole again.
“I was w̷̡̻̭͎̦͇̞̥͕̌̇̿͜o̵̧̘̯̝̦̗͎͍̖̞̝̟̊̂̈́̋̋̐̋̎̄͛͐̚̚ņ̸̡̧̞͚͖͍͚̼̯̹͎̥̲̓̌͋̈́͘͝͠͝d̷̼͓̞̗̠̣̜̥̦̠̮̹̫̋ē̴̡͍͕̥͓̮̺̑̈̾͑͗̈́̂̾́̅̏͌r̷͔̥͎̳̟̮̣͔̫̺̤͍̀i̴̧̭̜̤̿n̶̨̨̧̥̻͇̻̭̺̦̖̏͜ͅǧ̷̩̥͖̃ when you were going to show up my princess,” he says, his voice now wavering in and out of different tones, “Knew it was only a matter of time before you would learn how to use the true powers of your bracelet.” He laughs, and the creepy sound echoes throughout the forest. “However, I’m afraid you’re just slightly too late, my dear,” he leers, stepping closer to you so he can lean over you sprawled out form, “Kdqmbg and I have everything we need to stop you.”
“That’s just what you think,” Seungwoo says from behind you, rising up and stepping out from the guard of the shield, “I think you’ve forgotten I still have my true powers. The Xanthe tree’s powers.” Youngho smirks at Seungwoo’s brave words and replies, “You think those will be able to stop me? Give me a break Seungwoo.”
He laughs eerily again, the sound filling both yours and Seungwoo’s minds with a static-like feeling. Seungwoo’s face darkens again, and he reaches for his necklace. He holds onto it for a second, clearly thinking deeply about what he should actually do, before he rips it off completely and holds it above his head.
The world is quickly absorbed by a yellow light, and your eyes are blinded for a few seconds before every color around you is sucked away and harsh wind blows by you, pushing you into the shield. A thousand different colors surround Seungwoo before a thunderstorm instantly covers the sky all around you, pouring down an intense rain. Finally, as Seungwoo takes in the last of the magic, the air is filled with a strange melody, one that seems oddly familiar.
Before you can think about it, however, Seungwoo charges down at Youngho and you watch in shock as the two of them are absorbed by an enormous light beam. You quickly run over to it, trying to see inside, but all you can hear is loud shouting and the crackling of lightning.
After a few minutes of staring at it and looking for any distinguishable figures, the beam explodes, sending a wave of light into the sky. As you rub your eyes for the thousandth time, you immediately see that most of Youngho’s body is gone and is now a steadily flowing black blob, with huge red eyes.
“H̴͉̮̕-̶̘̍̊h̷̭͒ò̶̦w̶̠̰̌̽ ̷̈́ͅi̸͈͖̓͌ş̸͙̑̽ ̵̨̛̦t̷͇͍́h̶̟̉̚ĭ̷̧s̶͕̋̑ ̷̯̎̀p̴̪̹̾̽o̷͎͙̾̓ŝ̴̬͕s̷̫̆̕ī̸̝̏b̶͓̞͠l̶͍͑͘e̵͙̓͜?̸̥̱̒ ̶̘̿I̸̥̝͗ ̴̰̗̈̔a̸̤̽m̸͎͉̃̅ ̷͓͍̐s̵͉͓̓̔ọ̸̭͌ ̶̥̌̏m̸͍̔ū̵̞͖c̸̳̑ḧ̴̤̙́ ̴̢̓͜s̵̗̗̍̐ṯ̷̔̏r̷̞̳̀o̸̫͗̒ṇ̵͐ǵ̶̠̮ê̶͍r̴͍̩̓ ̷̝̹͆y̸̢̐͘e̴͕̓̕t̵̩͙͌.̵̥̜̂͝.̷͖̾̎.̴̜̺͝"̴̤̂ as he speaks, his voice grows more and more desperate. “Give it up Youngho!,” Seungwoo shouts, “You’ve been defeated!”

Youngho fires off a beam, straight at Seungwoo’s heart. And just like when he hit you... the strike didn’t fail to meet its mark.
Your brain is suddenly turned off by a wave of purple light. You dart forward, no longer thinking.
Well, at least you weren’t the one thinking.
You landed next to Seungwoo, immediately placing your hands over his impaled heart before they glowed a bright and vibrant lavender. Within seconds, the hole had been repaired, and you were standing up once again, and you started to gain control over your brain again.
Youngho was laughing maniacally and facing away from you while all of this was going on, so he never even noticed you had done something. Or was rapidly approaching him now. Smirking slightly, you jumped forward when you were about seven feet away from him, and you leapt forward with an intense purple aura surrounding your fist.
A crack sounded through the woods as you landed a solid blow on Youngho’s back, and it had landed on a spot where you could still see Youngho’s original body. As soon as it had landed, he had stopped laughing.
And in the brief moment of silence, you started to see his physical body start fading to dust.
And then he screamed.
And screamed.

A shadow floated in front of you in the reality hole you had just appeared in.
“This isn’t ỏ̶̦̟̃v̷̠̽͜͝e̷̫̗͝r̴̃ͅ yet y/n. Kdqmbg and I llᴉʍ have our revenge.”
The reality hole blasted away as soon as it had been there and you were standing exactly where you had annihilated Youngho, your fist still extended and everyhing. You took a quick glance at your bracelet, noticing how it was now pulsating lavender every couple of seconds.
“Well,” Seungwoo says from behind you, “I suppose we’re ready to start our journey now, huh y/n?”
As you turn to face him, you see you did indeed fully heal his chest, and he was already carrying the two satchels from earlier.
The two of you turn towards the portal that was still swirling in the sky off of the edge of the cliff.
“So come on,” Seungwoo states, “I think we’re ready to stop whatever comes our way now.”

AN INTERVIEW WITH DUNDAS LITTLE THEATRE’S MATTHEW WILLSON, DIRECTOR OF “THE HUMANS”
Tumblr media
I had the pleasure of a virtual interview with Dundas Little Theatre’s Matthew Willson who will be directing the first of their 2022-2023 season with his vision of The Humans, a Tony Award winning play by Stephen Karem. The Humans tells the story of the quintessential family reunion: a group of people who love each other but still wrestle with basic human fears: old age, abandonment, poverty, and death. Matthew shared insights on his inspiration for set, combating the ongoing challenges of illness during production and the anticipation of bringing this piece to Dundas in a few short weeks!
WHERE: Dundas Little Theatre - Garstin Centre for the Arts, 37 Market Street South, Dundas, Ontario
WHEN: October 28, 29 November 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 at 8:00 p.m.
Matinee performances: November 6 & 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
FOR TICKETS AND MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE VISIT:  Tickets at Dundas Little Theatre
THE INTERVIEW:
SCG: What inspired your company to produce this show? What inspires you generally when directing shows?
MW: I had approached The Players’ Guild about producing it, but they went in another direction. My wife and I saw the play in New York a handful of years ago now. I am certainly glad Dundas Little Theatre chose it as part of their season.  As for “what inspires me when directing” - I need to feel inspired long before I start rehearsals.  I’m really inspired by the cast and the crew. When creating a production, all levels of the team need to be equally invested. I’m lucky to have this group right now.
SCG: Dundas Little Theatre is no stranger to impressive set designs for their productions. Describe your vision for the set in "The Humans" and how it has influenced or changed the direction of this show.
MW: From day one I pressed the importance of this set for this piece. It is, perhaps, the main character. Designing the set was a pretty cool process for us involved. John Bello, David Faulkner-Rundle and I designed it right there on the theatre floor during a 12 minute meeting. We used a tape measure and some tape and an old donut bag to draw on.
It was an odd process, but the set is really evolving!
SCG: What have been some challenges in bringing your show to life and how have you overcome them?
MW: Like any artistic project, problems always arise. We’ve had to make cast changes, a COVID scare and for the first time in my life, I became sick… I spent more than a week in hospital and I’m adjusting to new beginnings and medication as I write this piece.
SCG: What has been rewarding about directing this play?
MW:  So far, its been a reward for me to even get to go to rehearsal. This is a very cool and raw piece of material and the way that we’re approaching it and our interpretation of it , I feel is going to go over well. Our cast and crew are building the entire production each rehearsal. And every rehearsal takes an incredible amount of focus. The performers are pretty tired afterwards. I told them at our first pre production meeting that on opening night, they'd be like athletes performing this one.
SCG: For those unfamiliar with "The Humans," how will this show speak to audiences in the Hamilton area or audiences in general?
MW: I am not sure that I’m I can properly convey the entire premise of this story, but I do know this: the play “The Humans” is holding a mirror to our society…
Thank you Matthew. Be sure to check out the season opener for Dundas Little Theatre. Tickets are on sale as of October 7! Steel City Girl will be reviewing the production on October 28!

U2 - Sydney - 11/22/19
Pics --> https://www.flickr.com/photos/15363256@N08/albums/72157711891076158
I just wrote up this entire show and Tumblr crashed and the fucking thing is gone. I’ll rewrite it when I am slightly more rested and less pissed off about it.
UPDATE:
I’m back home now – I don’t know what day it is, but here we go.
To start – like a lot of folks in the audience in Sydney (and elsewhere), INXS was a big part of my life. The X tour was my first real rock show as a teenager, not even old enough to drive, and it set the bar. I loved that band, and Michael was amazing to watch – every night he had 20,000+ people in the palm of his hand…all at the same time. He induced a reaction from the female sector of the audience that I can tell you I have rarely experienced at a show. Beyond that the music was great and we all shook our asses the whole show. I know how I felt when he died, and so I can only imagine how his friends and family felt. Actually – I can’t. And I hate how it all happened. It was a circus. I remember emailing my sympathies to Martha Troup and, to my shock, her writing me back and sending me an old pass from the X tour. I still have it and it’s hanging in my music room, along with the pick Kirk flicked at my forehead with stunning accuracy during the WTWYA tour. So to say that I was impacted by the references to Michael at this show is an understatement. More so than the inevitable “Stuck In A Moment,” I barely kept it together during the end of Bad (it returned to the setlist with gusto, eh?) when we lit it up and Bono went downstairs into the cellar and dug up the 1990s soul in his voice that infused Rattle and Hum. That hint of a bluesy growl as he wove in “Never Tear Us Apart” was epic. And I don’t use that word. It was a fucking revival. For weeks we knew they would do something, but THAT was organic. They’d been weaving in Devil inside, and playing INXS songs before and after the show. But the tribute with the visuals was very sweet. Those sort of things can become caricatures of themselves, but it was tastefully done. I know I never knew him, or anyone in that band. But I know how their music and live shows made me feel. And when you can have a shitty day and throw on your favorite record, and in 20 minutes you feel better, you can’t put a price tag that. I’m eternally grateful to the artists that bravely share with us, sometimes at the expense of themselves. Right now some guy on the other side of the earth is listening to an INXS record…or a U2 record…and getting through the day. And they will never know. …and that’s totally ok. We have all been that person, and it’s the magic of music.
Other bits:
- It rained. Finally.  Sydney has been on fire and the first morning I was there my hotel smelled like a fire pit. It’s so horrible. But the late afternoon thunderstorms gave me time after dinner to pop over to the hard rock and see the “Mystify” lyrics and INXS guitar. Got in to SCG just before Noel and found a rail spot on Edge’s side just behind Red Zone. I could finally see the Tree stage, but I felt a little far away from the happenings so the next night I was back on Adam’s side.
- Fucking Noel Gallagher. The guy is an international treasure. He is absolutely hilarious and his band is great.  Poor dude was getting rained on but was a trooper.
- This time I was the one who almost got in a fight with a drunk dude behind us spilling beer all over everyone. You can take the girl outta the south side….Fucking hell, can ANYONE drink in public without turning into a complete asshole?
- Bono invited his doppelganger circa 90s up onstage, only to have the wildly incompetent SCG security bum rush the stage thinking he was some how attacking the band. ???? I was literally screaming “HE TOLD HIM TO GO UP THERE. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU???” So then U2’s people go up there, poor Bono is trying to explain the whole thing without it turning into a fiasco mid-song. Too late. But it all seemed to end well, and if I were U2 I would have had a long fucking talk with the fine folks at SCG, and my first question would be, “What is your reason for clearly NOT paying attention to what is going on at the show?” Because if they had been doing their job to begin with they would have seen EXACTLY what was happening up there. The next night security couldn’t have given two shits – we had to call over U2’s folks because a drunk guy was being obnoxious. SCG did NOTHING. One extreme or another I guess.
- Rest of the show was just fun and business as usual. Good crowd singing, I thought. Went back to the same old banter pretty much during the “Irish Inventions” part of the show. They seemed less playful than Adelaide – I am guessing in part because all eyes seemed to be on the Sydney shows. Especially this first one.
-  The stadium is in the middle of nowhere and there is no good or easy way to get in or out. Followed the crowd toward the city until I found a bar open until 2am.  But all around a great night.

Trigger Warning Preparation
I may not have posted in a while, got a lot of SCG combos on the backburner to explain, and Unsanctioned is looking rather nice, but my plates have been pretty hard to keep spinning as of late, especially in number.
All that said, one fairly major thing I am working on is a sci-fi campaign. Not quite Magic-adjacent, but Magic does have an official D&D crossover with Ravnica, and I’m still holding onto hope that fall will include a Zendikar crossover... expansion... worldbook? Anyway, I found this list created by @trigger-warnings, and it made my job a lot easier of finding any potential concerns and nipping them in the bud. Keep players at the table and comfortable. Might even add something in bottom right about write-ins, or a “Dietary Restrictions” section for face-to-face players that are concerned about bringing food.

Mirage - Mona x MC
Tumblr media
Happy Mona Day for @rodappreciationweek!!
How about a little impromptu drabble to go along with this?
Mirage
Had it been only a year since all the events of her senior year with the MPC?
Everything changed so much but as Ellie looked down at her Langston sweater and around her bedroom back in Mar Vista, some things never changed at all. Sure, she was back home for the summer, but nothing was the same.
A pang hit her in the chest when she thought about what happened with the Crew. Where was Logan? was Colt still around LA? But most of all, how was Mona?
The last she saw was Mona bleeding out after dropping her off at the hospital… and that was that.
She wiped an errant tear from her eye at the memory; she knew she had to close the book on that chapter of her life but how could she when she didn’t even know if Mona survived?
And that’s when she heard it: The sound of a familiar muffler rumbling down the block. But maybe this was her wishful thinking, akin to a mirage in a desert.
She shot out of bed and ran to her window, praying that her ears didn’t deceive her. Peering out towards the street, the biggest smile appeared on her face at the sight that greeted her. There, on the hood of her distinct purple car, sat Mona.
Ellie was sure of it as she ran down the stairs, out of her house, and into Mona’s arms. This wasn’t a mirage at all.

So I made an SCP entry for Bugsnax...
I thought with the ending and all of the disturbing stuff that this game has, it would fit perfectly with SCP stuff. Not to mention, there has to be an SCP equivalent in the Grumpus world. GCP? SGP? SCG? I dunno man, have some horror writing about muppets.
SCP-3470: Sentient Sustenance
[Heavy spoilers for Bugsnax ending]
Item #: SCP-3470 aka “Snaktooth Island”
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures:  Due to its nature of being a landmass the most SCP teams can do is obscure its location to the populus. Efforts have been made to create rumors of numerous shipwrecks--akin to SCP-605 “Bermuda Triangle”--to deter the public from exploring the location. If unauthorized ships are witnessed crossing into the restricted zone, they are to be terminated immediately.           Addendum: Due to the recent insubordination of Dr. [REDACTED]. All authorized personnel that enter or exit SCP-3470 are to be subjected to a rigorous screening process to ensure that no instances of SCP-3470-A are brought out of the restricted area without B Class Permission or higher. Further precautions being considered are a 10 minute test in which personnel seeking access to SCP-3470 are to be placed into an empty room with an instance of SCP-3470-A. If SCP personnel show any signs of wishing to consume SCP-3470-A, they are to be removed from the team immediately. Permission from Professor [REDACTED].  Is awaiting approval.
Description: SCP-3470 is a large landmass off of the coast of [REDACTED].  Spanning 50 mi^2 and nearing 1.5 mi in height. Several sections of SCP-3470 are flux in weather patterns, ranging from lush forests to arid deserts in the span of 3 miles. Although similar in appearance to locations such as  [REDACTED].  And  [REDACTED]. , further research concludes that flora are substantially different in chemical composition, containing traces of [REDACTED].  Which was only recently discovered. Due to this, nearly all flora encompassing the island are inedible, as digestion induces hazardous effects ranging from intense stomach pains to spastic vomiting.
The most significant aspect of SCP-3470 are various instances of sentient life, which are to be referred to as SCP-3470-A-[1-100]. SCP-3470-A take appearances of common food items, such as SCP-3470-A-1 [“Strabby”] taking the form of a ripe red strawberry with what appear to be dollar store googly-eyes [all instances of SCP-3470-A share the final trait]. All instances of SCP-3470-A vary in physique, behavioral patterns and similarities to their respective food item. Each instance also appears to have a “name” that it repeats ad nauseum despite not having observable mouths or vocal chords, making them easier to classify. Chemically however all are similar, containing faint traces of  [REDACTED]. . This can be witnessed upon any attempt to alter SCP-3470-A instances from their base form, dissolving into an unknown inedible fluid, losing sentience in the process.
Due to SCP-3470’s flora being inedible, SCP-3470-A instances become the landmass’s only source of sustenance. Consumption of SCP-3470-A induces a drastic and instance side-effect of modifying the consumer’s limbs, thereby becoming SCP-3470-B. The limbs of SCP-3470-B instances vary depending on the instance of SCP-3470-A that has been consumed, alongside how many instances have been consumed prior to said event. Fundamentally however, all limbs modified take on the appearance of whatever the SCP-3470-A instance was impersonating. The more instances a subject consumes the more of their body transforms, beginning with the hands and feet and extending to the entire torso and face. The internal functions of the body remain intact along with full autonomous control, however the structure and physique of transformed limbs change drastically, such as an SCP-3470-B instance’s arm transforming into a banana after consuming an instance of SCP-3470-A-12 [“Banooper”]. These transformations subside in time [correlating to amount of SCP-3470-A instances consumed], with SCP-3470-B limbs reverting back to their original state, containing faint traces of [REDACTED].
Addendum 3470-B: Increased Exposure
Proceeding with experimentation with SCP-3470-A instances under Prof. [REDACTED]. , extended exposure and consumption of SCP-3470-A instances results in increasing addictive tendencies and side effects. File below contains audio files of experiments with Personnel D-125.
<Begin Log 01, skip to 00:02:17>
Dr. [REDACTED].: D-Class 125, approach SCP 3470-A-45.
D-125: What is…? Ok, seriously what the grump is this??? Like, I signed up for this expecting a lot of horrifying stuff, but-did someone slap googly-eyes on a piece of corn?!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : 125, please approach SCP-3470-A-45.
D-125: Yeah, yeah, alright. So… (to A-45 after approach), what are you supposed to be then? Did Dr. [REDACTED].  Have their kid put their arts and crafts project on display or-
A-45: Cobhopper!
D-125: GRUMPIN WHA- IT JUST TALKED?! IT MOVED IT’S LOOKING AT ME!!!
Dr. [REDACTED].: (whispering) so much for being the ‘toughest D-class around… ‘
<Skip to 00:08:24>
D-125: So you’re telling me I just… eat it? The eyes too?
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Correct. Do not worry, upon further testing the eyes seem to be made of a material akin to valentine’s candy hearts (lie).
D-125: Huh… alright then. Down the hatch, I guess?
Sounds of eating, cries of A-45
Dr. [REDACTED].  : D-125, describe the flavor.
D-125: It’s… good actually! I was honestly expecting the insides to be guts or poison or something, but it’s actually pretty good! Nice and buttered to, a bit of salt? Reminds me of my mom’s barbeque.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : And the sensation of your leg transforming?
D-125: Huh? (125 looks down and notices their leg transformed into a head of corn). Oh… Well this is pretty cool I guess.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Any uncomfortable sensations?
D-125: Not really no. It’s weird… I can still feel my toes, but it’s like a peg leg. Actually, I think I can see a few kernels wiggling if I try. Neat!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Is… that it?
D-125: Yeah I think so, *chuckles,* this is actually pretty cool!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Hmm… (To recorder) Despite initial panic from witnessing A-45, subject D-125 has adjusted to transformation with record pace. Further research required.
<End Log-01>
<Begin Log-04>
D-125: Heya doc!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Greetings D-125. Have you adjusted to recent transformations?
D-125: Yeah it’s been going alright. The pineapple hair is a pretty nice dew all things considered, and the bacon tongue makes me look like a snake. I like it!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Pleased to hear it. Now, approach SCP-3470-A-52.
D-125: Alright, what’s on the menu today then? Who’re you little guy?
A-52: Sodi-D Sodi-D!
D-125: Huh, a drink this time. Change of pace I guess.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Please consume A-52.
D-125: Right away ma’am. Sir. Whatever.
Sound of soda can opening and drinking, cries of A-52.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : (To recorder) Upon the first drop of A-52’s fluid, transformation has already occurred, transforming the subject's ears into what appear to be soda can tabs. No further transformations appear to occur on consecutive gulps-wha (To D-125) Sir?!
Sounds of crunching, further cries of A-52, then silence.
D-125: Not bad! I don’t usually drink soda, beer’s more my thing personally, but it was pretty sweet! Just the right amount of sugar. And hey, new accessory!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : ...D-125, why did you eat A-52’s shell?
D-125: Huh?
Dr. [REDACTED].  : The… the can. Nobody has attempted to consume the can.
D-125: Oh. Uh…
Silence for 7 seconds
D-125: I dunno, I guess since the eyes were edible on the other guys, I thought the can would be here? Wasn’t too hard to eat, kinda like biting into ice. Didn’t hurt.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Very… interesting. This will be recorded for future experiments, thank you D-125.
D-125: No prob. And hey, call me Chuffee.
<End Log-04>
<Begin Log-09, skip to 00:09:54>
D-125: Hehey, candy corn teeth! Pretty sharp too, should make eating these things even easier!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : D-125, you’re nearing complete bodily transformation. Have you been experiencing any discomfort as of late? Any anomalies?
D-125: Nope, in fact I feel great! I used to have this crink in my back for the longest time, but now it’s gone! I’m more limber than I’ve been in ages!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Fascinating… very well then, thank you for your time.
D-125: ...wait, what? That’s it?
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Hm?
D-125: There isn’t any more left? I thought there would be a bit more.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : *sigh,* D-125, we’ve went over this last time. We cannot give you more than one instance a day due to 3470-A’s high caloric count. The instance you just ate was over twenty th-
D-125: You know you keep saying that. Didn’t you guys want to really figure out what’s with these things? When I ate that soda can you said yourself that nobody’s tried that before, so let’s go further! I’m still hungry anyways, I’m craving a burger if you got any like that.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Sir, please exit the room. I cannot give you any more than what I am authorized.
D-125: ……..You know, it’s interesting how your window is so high up there. I can hardly see you.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : ...excuse me?
D-125: You heard me [REDACTED].  , I can barely see you from down here. You can see exactly how I change, the new stuff I get… but I can’t see yours.
Silence for 15 seconds.

D-125: I know you’re holding out on me up there [REDACTED].  .
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Sir, I’ve told you countless times already. I can’t give you any more than I’m authorized.
D-125: (Sarcasm) Oh yeah, suuure. For all I know you guys are feasting away on these things up there, while leaving me for dust! Like seriously, a single popcorn kernel?! That’s it?!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Sir, that is all I can give you today. Please exi-
Sound of a door opening
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Wh- Professor [REDACTED].  ?
Professor [REDACTED].  : Hello D-125.
D-125: Oh great, another snob to tell me what to do. If you aren’t gonna feed me, then just shut up already! My stomach’s growling like crazy, and I’m not leaving until I get my meal!
Professor [REDACTED].  : Not to worry D-125, I’m fully prepared to grant your wish.
D-125: ...wait, really?
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Professor, what are you-
Professor [REDACTED].  : I listened to the log of your previous meal, and you raised a good point. If we at the SCP foundation wish to fully understand what these creatures are capable of, we must push the boundaries of what we believe are possible. So then…
(Sound of metal grinding, several overlapping cries of SCP-3470-A instances)
D-125: Oh, my…
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Professor, what are you doing?
Professor [REDACTED].  : Eat until you can’t eat anymore. Consider it my treat, to you.
D-125: Ooohohohohoooo yes!!! Now we’re talking!!! Come to papa little guys!!!
<Skip to 00:32:59>
Professor [REDACTED].  : Subject so far has consumed 34 instances of 3470-A. Since consuming number 21 he has shown increased signs of vigor, despite eating half of his body mass.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Professor, please, stop him. This is-
Professor [REDACTED].  : (continuing) Upon complete transformation of limbs to SCP 3470-B instances, any further consumption appears to override a prior one. His leg, previously resembling a head of corn has transformed now into a roll of sushi. His tongue, once a strip of bacon, now a wad of chips.
D-125: (While eating) Mmmph! Oh my god, what are you a jar of pickles! More the merrier!
Sound of sloppy gulping, glass crunching, cries of SCP-3470-A-35
D-125: Ooogh, some noodles too! Love japanese food!
Sounds of rapid slurping, rapid glass crunching and licking.
Professor [REDACTED].  : Subject appears to have increased vigor in consuming 3470-A instances, not leaving a single crumb or shard left uneaten. A query: what is the chemical makeup of instances contained in glass jars or bowls? The bowls themselves? Further research required.
<Skip to 01:42:47>
Dr. [REDACTED]. : Chuffee please, stop! You’re going to hurt yourself!
Rapid, feral sounds of crunching and slurping.
Professor [REDACTED].  : Subject has now eaten approximately eaten 1.5 times his body mass yet continues to feat, now with no regards for table manners whatsoever. I have already called for a janitor to wait outside.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Chuffee stop!! You-
Laughter, slowly increasing in volume
D-125: This!! This is the best I’ve eaten in my entire life!!!
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Chuffee please-O-oh… oh my-
Professor [REDACTED].  : Subject’s left ear has disconnected itself from its host. There appear to be no signs of blood or even markings indicating he has had one at all-there goes a tooth!
D-125: Hooooh I knew you all were holding back on me!!! This stuff is delicious, amazing, spectacular!!! I’ll never go hungry again, no more rotting on the streets!!! This is all mine, you hear me?! Mine, MINE, MINE!!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
Laughter continues for several seconds, sounds of objects falling to floor as volume slowly decreases, ending with a loud clatter.
Dr. [REDACTED].  : Ch-Chuffee, I- urp!
Sound of vomiting
Professor [REDACTED].  : Subject, after eating nearly twice his body mass, has had each limb separate from his core torso one by one, now fully resembling their respective food items, until his eyes transformed into SCP-3470-B instance, resembling the mixed nuts that made up his head. Soon after, his torso and head fell apart, scattering into mixed-nuts. I can not recognize Subject D-125 in the slurry.
More sounds of vomiting
Professor [REDACTED].  : These results are quite fascinating. Further research is required into these various side effects. End tape.
